This is mainly a start to end walkthrough. I will not go into details about
the enemies or the story (since it's in Japanese). If anyone decides to make
a serious FAQ, they have my permission to use this one as a base if they so
choose to. Giving due credit of course.
Your goal in this game is to find 10 missing cats. The game has tons of roads
and houses you can enter, but you only need to enter the ones relevant to
your quest.
A + left: Select Item
A + B: Use Items
B: Attack
Select: Switch between the two characters.
Start: Pause the game. Press Select while paused to get the password.
You'll see your first cat the second you start the game. Touch it and you'll
get [Cat #1].
Cat #2
Enter the house on top (named "Minamizake") to get a |Baseball|. You can use it
to attack. Go back out again. Go right and enter the first North Road you see
and then North again.
You should now be in a blueish street.
Go right and enter the first North Road you see, then North two more times.
Now go left and enter the first North Road you see, then left, North, left
and North.
You should now be in a greenish street.
Ignore the North road, go all the way right and enter the 2nd North road you
see (it's next to the Green St. sign).
You will now be in a pinkish street.
Enter North here and you'll be in a Yellowish street.
Go left and enter the building called "SHOP FJ". Buy the 2nd item from the
left (it costs 150 HP). Leave the building, go left and enter the
"POST OFFICE". Select the item you just bought and press A + B to use it.
Leave the building, go left and enter the first South road you see.
You'll be back on the pinkish street.
Go South again and you'll be back on the greenish street.
Go right and enter the 3rd house to get a |Key|. Leave the house, go right
and enter the first South road you see.
You'll be back on the blueish street.
Go right and take the first South road you see. Then right, South, right,
south again. On the next screens go directly south and south again.
On this screen, go right and enter the building named "DRUG STORE". Make
sure you have the key selected, or you won't go in.
You'll be in a reddish area. Ignore the north exit, go right and enter the
2nd north exit. You'll be on a blue/gray area. Go right and enter the
north exit. On this screen, enter the door directly north to get a |Bell|.
Leave and take the south exit. Go right and take the south exit. Go left
and enter the first house door you see. Buy a doll (the 2nd item from the
right). If you need HP, just defeat the skeletons since they give the most
HP. After you buy the item, leave the store, go right and enter the north
exit. Go left, ignore the north exit and take the 1st south exit.
You'll be back on the reddish area.
Go left, ignore the 1st north exit and enter the 2nd one. Go left, north.
Now right and north (first north exit). Then right and enter the first door
you see. You'll come face to face with a boss. Attack him with the doll and
once you defeat him you'll rescue [Cat #2].
Cat #3
Leave the boss cave, go left, south, left, south, right, south to go back
to the reddish area. Once there, go right and enter the first north exit to
a darker reddish area. Enter directly north, then go right and north.
You'll be in a white/green area.
Go right and after the first building and before the green building, enter
the north path with the trees (it doesn't look like an exit) to go back
to a blueish outside street.
Go left and enter the first north road. You'll be in a grayish street.
Go directly north and on the next screen, go right and enter the first
house you see. Select the Doll and press A+B to get rid of it. Also get
rid of the Keys. Leave, go left and take the first north exit.
Go right and enter the "CONVENIENCE STORE". Buy the hammer (2nd item from
the left). Leave, go left and enter the first north road.
Now go right, north, right, north.
You'll be on a light green area.
Go left and take the 1st south exit. You'll be back on a grayish area.
Go left, north and north again.
You'll be on a dirt road area.
Go right and take the north exit (it looks like a wooden path).
On the new area, take the path directly north, then left and enter the 3rd
house you see. Buy the Famicom Controller (2nd item from the right). Leave,
go left and take the north path. Go right, north and directly north. Now
go left and enter the cabin. Buy the torch (1st item on the right).
Leave the cabin, go left, ignore the first 2 south exits and enter the 3rd
one. Go left and enter the first north road (not the door on the trees).
Go left, then north. Go right and enter another cabin. Buy the Tomahawk
(2nd item from the right) and the Shovel (1st item on the left). Leave,
go right, select the Shovel and enter the door on the rock wall.
Go right and enter the 5th door on the wall. Go left, past a door on the
wall and a north road. Enter the 2nd north road. Go left and enter the
cabin. Inside, use the Famicom Controller by pressing A+B. Leave, ignore
the south exit, go right and take the 2nd south exit. Then go right and
take the first north road. You'll come across another boss, use the torch
to defeat him and you'll rescue [Cat #3].
Cat #4
Leave the boss cave, go left and then north. Go left, enter the cabin and
you'll receive a |Mirror|. Leave the cabin, ignore the south exit, go right
and take the 2nd south exit. On the next screen, ignore the south exit, go
right and take the 2nd south exit. Go left and take the first south exit.
Again go left, past the cabin and take the 1st south exit. Now go right and
take the 1st south exit. Go right and take the 1st north exit. Go right
and enter the 1st door on the tree by using the Tomahawk.
You'll now be in a snowy area.
Go right and enter the first door on the wall, use the mirror by pressing
A+B and you'll rescue [Cat #4].
Cat #5
Leave the cave, go left and enter the 1st south exit. On the next screen,
ignore the first two south exits and enter the 3rd one. Enter the south
exit directly down and do the same on the next screen. Now go left and
enter the first south exit. Then go right and take the first south exit.
You'll be out of the woods now.
Go left and take the 1st south exit. You'll be back on the streets.
Go directly south, then south again. Then go right and enter the apartment
complex called "A1" and hen go right and enter "A2". Go right and take
the 1st north exit. Go left and enter the second apartments complex, named
"B1". Go right and enter "B2" (didn't we just pass a "B2" before?). Go right
and enter the first north exit. Go left and enter the second apartments
complex, named "C1". Go right and enter "C2" to fight a boss. Use the hammer
to defeat him and rescue [Cat #5].
Cat #6
Leave the boss cave, go left and take the first south exit. Then directly
south and south again. You'll see some houses with red ceilings. Go directly
south. Now go right and south. Then left and south. You'll be on "Blue St.".
Go directly south 2 times until you reach "Rose St.". Ignore the south exit
and go right to take the 2nd south exit. Go directly south on this greenish
street too. Now, on this blueish street, go right, south. Right, south again.
Then right and south yet again. On the next screens, go directly south two
times. Then go left and south.
You'll now be on a grayish street with houses.
Go left and enter the first house you see. Get rid of the Hammer, Tomahawk,
Torch and Shovel. Leave the house, go all the way left and take the 1st south
exit you see. Now go all the way south until you can't go south anymore. I'm
not going to even count how many screens that is. You should arrive in a street
with orange/red houses. From here, go right and then south. Then go south 2
times. You should be in a place with gray buildings. Go left and enter the
2nd glass door you see. Buy the first 2 items from the left (Bucket and the
Test tube [?]). Leave the store, select the bucket and catch 30 blue slimes.
If done right, [Cat #6] will appear.
Cat #7
After getting the cat, take the north exit. Go right and enter the 2nd glass
door. Buy the 2nd item from the left (Tomato) and leave the store. Go right,
take the north exit and then north again. Go right and take the 1st north exit.
Now go left and take the north exit. You should be in a fenced area.
Go all the way right and enter the school (white building). Once inside, go
left and climb the stairs all the way to the roof. Go right and enter the
next doors you see. You'll be back on the 4th floor now. Go right and enter
the 3rd door you see to fight a boss. Use the test tube to defeat the robot
and rescue [Cat #7].
Cat #8
Go left, up the stairs and back to the roof. Go left and enter the first door
you see to go back down. Go down all the way to the 1st floor, go right, take
the south exit to leave the school. Once outside the school, go left and take
the south exit. Now go right and take the south exit. Then left and south.
Then directly south. And finally, left and south 2 times to reach the docks.
Go right and take the south exit. Again go right and take the south exit.
Now go left and take the south exit. On this screen, you'll see some green
crates. Go left, past the door and once you see another set of green crates,
hit the very first one to receive a |Gold Coin|.
**Make sure that the character that gets the gold coin, also has the Tomato.
If not, make room so that you have both the Tomato and the Gold Coin with the
same character. To make room, just enter any door and if the character inside
says "....", then that's a place where you can get rid of items.**
Now go left and south. On the next screen, go right until you see an opening
in the north to a sandy area. Enter to go to the sea part of the docks.
Go right, then south. Now go left, then south. Again, go left and south.
Now go directly south. In this screen, go right, and once you start seeing
the trees in the north background, there should be a part with an opening to
another area. Enter here to go to the beach. Now go right and enter the north
exit. You'll now be directly on the beach. Go right and when you see the red
entrance on the mountain, use the gold coin to enter. Inside you'll fight a
giant crab. Use the tomato to defeat him and you'll rescue [Cat #8].
Cat #9
Leave the boss cave and re-enter it. You'll be on a totally different area!
Go right and take the south exit. You'll now be in a dirt road area.
Go right and take the south exit. Then left and take the south exit. Now
go directly south 2 times until you reach a second yellow road.
Go left and take the north exit. You'll be in an area with mountains in the
background. Go left and take the south exit. Again, go left and take the south
exit. You'll be in a place with Chinese houses. Go directly south, then on the
next screen go right and enter the 2nd house you see. Get rid of the Gold Coin
and the Test Tube/Bucket/Tomato if you still have them.
Leave, go right and enter the next house to get an |Orb|. Leave, go right and
take the north exit. You'll be in a dark area. Go right and south.
On the next screen, go directly south. Then go left and enter the huge mansion
to get a |Red Ring|. Leave, go right and take the north exit. Then directly
north. Now left and south. Here go left, take the north exit, then directly
north again. Now go right, then north. Then right again and south. Go right,
take the next north exit and then directly north again. You'll be on the gray
street again. Go right and take the south exit. Go right and take another south
exit. Then left and take that immediate south exit. Then right and take that
immediate south exit. Now go left and enter the second house you see (should be
red) to fight a boss. Use the ring to defeat him and rescue [Cat #9].
Cat #10
Leave the boss room. Go left and take the north exit. Then right and north.
Enter the gold house on top by selecting the orb and you'll rescue [Cat #10].
Leave the boss room and you'll automatically be warped to the "Minamizake"
house at the start of the game. Enter the house to get the ending.
