INTRODUCTION
===========================================================================

The purpose of this guide is to provide translations of all the players
of the Japanese team in Captain Tsubasa 2. Since the entire game is in
Japanese, it is impossible to know who is who. Consequently, managing
the whole team can be a real pain in the ass, specially when the time
has come to make substitutions. While checking everything by trial and
error may work, it takes way too much time and is too tedious (other
than the fact that you will have to reset your game around 1,000 times).

Hopefully, you'll be able to make the most of all your players with this
guide. It will prevent you from making big mistakes whenever you need to
make substitutions (for example, taking Tsubasa out and having Hyuga play
as a defender is just plain stupid).

Special techniques translations have been included too (where applicable)
for convenient reference. The best way to use this guide is to print it
and compare the letters so you know what player you are dealing with and
which of his moves are likely to serve a purpose in a particular situation.

It should also be noted that these are the final move lists. Some characters
obtain their strongest moves later in the game. If you don't have them yet,
just be patient.

[ きすぎ ]     Kisugi     (DF)

[ たき ]     Taki     (DF)

[ さの ]     Sano     (DF)

[ そりまち ]     Sorimachi     (MF)

[ たかすぎ ]     Takasugi     (DF)

[ わかばやし ]     Wakabayashi    (GK)

[ もりヤき ]     ???     (GK)

*Tsubasa means 'Wings' in Japanese. Is that why he's so quick?

**Wakabayashi has no special techniques. The special scene shown from
time to time just shows his determination.

***Jito should actually be Jitou. I suppose that's one of the countless
mistakes they make during the translations.

**** I know it's dumb to put both 'Volley' and 'Shot' together but that's
just  how  it is. Respect the game!

*****Obviously, some techniques don't quite translate to the given names.
In these cases, I checked in the anime itself.

******If a move involves more than one player, all of them must obviously
     be on the pitch.

*******I never got "Rolling Sobat" for Wakashimazu's block, but this comes
      from the anime itself.

If you need further help navigating in the menu itself, consult my full
walkthrough (available at GameFAQs).
