This offering from Sivak contains two games, both of which are variations of
classics (Nim and Simon). The games themselves are simplistic in nature,
which makes it easy to pick up and play instantly. If you were a childhood
fan of either game, especially Simon, you will certainly enjoy this 2-in-1
compilation. I would recommend it!

========
Overview
========

Geminim is a variation of the classic logic game Nim. The premise is that you
have a certain number of objects in different categories, and two players
take as many objects from a single category as they want in one turn. Each
player MUST take at least one object in each turn, however. To win, you must
be the one who takes the very last object off the board. In this game, the
objects are four differently colored gems.

That is where the strategy comes in. There is no set amount that you must
take each round, but some very good advice would be not to eliminate all gems
in a given category yourself (allow the opponent to do so). If there is only
one category left and it's the other person's turn, nothing stops them from
taking away all of the remaining gems in one shot to win. That said, leaving
at least one gem in each category is a good idea since it forces the other
player to waste an extra turn clearing them. As an alternative, keeping the
same amount of gems in each color is a good method (doesn't have to be just
one, it can be any amount).

========
Gameplay
========

When you start the game, you will be on Level 1. There are 20 levels in
total, each with an increasing number of gems to be cleared. At the start,
you will be asked if you want to have your turn first, or go second (allowing
the opponent to go first). At each turn, you will first be able to press Up
or Down to move the cursor around a certain group of gems. Once you select a
group, you will be asked how many from that group you want to take away (use
Left/Right to change the number). Once you do that, the other player goes.

If you are the person who removes the final gem(s) from the board, you win.
Otherwise, you lose. Regardless of your win/loss, you still go on to the next
round. After the final round, you will get to see statistics from the last 20
levels and receive a "rank" based on this performance. The game then ends at
this point.

========
Overview
========

Siamond is an adaptation of the classic memory game Simon (you know, the
handheld with the four colors that light up in a certain order and you must
press them again in the correct order). Since it is a mind game, there really
is no strategy involved aside from your own capacity to memorize color/sound
patterns quickly. The premise is simple: you are shown a four-colored panel
where each color has its own sound associated with it. A pattern is shown,
and you must repeat that pattern in order to go to the next round. The
pattern builds upon itself as you go on, and you can continue until you lose.

========
Gameplay
========

When you first select this game, you will have the added options of viewing
the game's Credits and Sound Test. There is also an Options menu where you
can tweak the game's difficulty settings and whether or not there is a time
limit for each round. Once the game begins, you will see a large diamond
separated into four different colors (red, green, blue, yellow) in the middle
area. At the bottom, it will show how many rounds you have played currently,
your best record, and the number of times you started a new game.

After the "GET READY!" message disappears, the round begins. One of the
colored panels will light up randomly and a sound will be played. When the
pattern stops, you will need to reiterate that same pattern by using the
Control Pad (Up = Red, Left = Green, Right = Blue, Down = Yellow). If done
correctly, you will go to the next round. With each subsequent round, the
pattern increases by one color, building on the previous pattern. An example:

   Round 1: Yellow
   Round 2: Yellow, Blue
   Round 3: Yellow, Blue, Green
   Round 4: Yellow, Blue, Green, Green
   Round 5: Yellow, Blue, Green, Green, Blue

The first round has only one panel to match, whereas the fifth round will
have five panels to hit in order, as shown in the example above. It becomes
easy if you can remember the earlier steps, presumably from the repetition.
If you make a mistake and press the wrong button, you will lose the round.
You can either start a new game right away, or go back to the title screen.
At that point, the "TOTAL GAMES" number will increment. You can keep playing
as many rounds as you want, as long as you keep repeating the patterns
correctly.
