    Well, this isn't a big FAQ, but it's a very fast reference to know
the Super cancel moves for each character in KOF 2001. We try than this
FAQ be totally confirmed. We have seen each super cancel in this FAQ in
video or where we play, if not, it will be marked.

   Version 1.0
     - Basic FAQ structure, all the super cancel moves than we can
       remember, aaahh! is too late!....
   Version 1.2
     - Recopilation of most of combos....
   Version 1.3
     - Uuuuta!! more job!

     - Well 37 is not bad, I think than some moves are wrong
       (specially K9999, Foxy, Kula) but I'll search the names
       and I'll correct the names.

     - Well, contributions, and I have to say, we don't make this FAQ
       with the ROM, all was make in arcade, on april 11th the ROM
       was published. We'll use now the ROM to check all the FAQ....

     - More contributions, added notes about Kensou, Foxy and K9999
       moves, Ignis section... we need Chang, Choi and Goro's combos
       and cancel moves....

       there's a mistake in Clark supercancel, the Gattling Attack
       (charge b, f + A/C) can't be canceled for any reason, maybe
       was cancelable in a BETA version, but is our fault publish it in
       the FAQ without absotule certain. We don't have proof of the
       Goro, Chang and Choi's supercancels.
         Check the notes on them.
   Version 3.1 >> FINAL VERSION
     - We hope this is the last update. Added Yuri, Chin and Seth
       combos. Notes in Chang, Choi and Goro sections. Corrections
       in Athena

   The Super cancel moves are new in KOF, is basically an evolution
from KOF 99 & 2000 Counter mode, but open the way the make amazing
combos.
   This moves connects very different to each character. Some
characters can cancel in special moves, anothers in Desesperation
moves and anothers in both. In another special cases can cancel
Desesperation Moves in Desesperation moves.

  =- Hero Team -= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
 =  K'
     He has 2 SCM :
      - Crow Bites (Dp + A/C)
      - Narrow Spike (qcb +B/D after Minute Spike)

     Basic Combo:
       Jump D, stand C (2 hits), Dp + A, cancel into Heat Drive
         (qcf, qcf + A) or Chain Drive (qcf,hcb + B)

 =  Maxima
     He has only one:
      - Bulldog Press
       (qcf + A/C after System 1 or 2: MS and Double Bomber )

     Basic Combo:
       Jump C, stand C (1 hit), qcf + A/C x 2, cancel into
        Maxima Revenger (hcb,hcb + B/D)

 =  Whip
     It's harder (thanxs to Vastago!)....
      - Strength Shot Type A "Code: Superior" (hcb + A ,can be held)
      - Strength Shot Type B "Code: Strength" (hcb + B ,can be held)
      - Strength Shot Type C "Code: Victory"  (hcb + C ,can be held)
      - Boomerang Shot "Code: SC" (hcf + A/C)

     Basic Combo:
       Jump C, stand C (1 hit), hcb + B (1 hit), cancel into
        Sonic Slaughter "Code: KW" (qcb,hcf + A/C)

 =  Lin
     His moves are a little bizarres...
       - Tetsuzan-bu: Nagi (qcf + A/C after Tetsuzan-bu:
           Rasatsu [qcf + A/C])

     Basic Combo:
        Crouching B, crouching A, qcf + A, qcf + A, cancel into
        Hizoku Ougi Senshuu: Rakansatsu (d,d,d + AC) or
        Hizoku Ougi Ranbu: Dokugi (qcb, hcf + A/C)

=- Esaka Team -= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
 =  Kyo Kusanagi
     Like Terry he can cancel into a special move or <DM>.
      Combo #1 isn't SUPERcancel, is a follow-up move. The
      100 Shiki: Oniyaki (dp + A/C) is a supercancel, but not in
      this case..(thanx to armand-br)

      - 427 Shiki: Hikigane (hcb + B/D)
      - 100 Shiki: Oniyaki (dp + A/C)

     Basic Combo:
       Jump C/D, stand C, qcf + C, hcb + C, f + C, cancel into
        100 Shiki: Oniyaki (dp + A/C)

       Jump C/D, stand C, dp + A, cancel into Ura 108 Shiki:
         Orochi Nagi (qcb,hcf + A)

       Jump C, stand C, qcf + B, B, hcb + B, cancel into Ura 108 Shiki:
         Orochi Nagi (qcb,hcf + A)

 =  Benimaru Nikaido
     His special move:
      - Shinkuu Katategoma (qcb + A/C)

     Basic Combo:

     It's strange....
      - Chou Ukemi (qcb + B/D)

      FINAL NOTE: KOF '02 is almost here and I haven't see it.
                  I have recieved many mails with people who says
                  that they had seen the cancel done by the com.

     This character is funny...
      - 212 Shiki: Kototsuki Mikansei (hcb + B/C)

     Is a little hard but with practice...

     He has one and can be cancelable into any move (special or DM)
     but is too difficult do it in combo (it's too slow):
      - Round Wave (qcf + C)
      - Rising Tackle (charge d, u)

      with DM:
         (in the corner) Jump C/D, stand C(1 hit), qcf + C, cancel
         into Power Geyser (qcb, hcf + A) or High Angle Geyser
         (qcf, qcf + B)

 =  Andy Bogard
     Well, he has 2 moves:
       - Shimo Agito (press A/C), after Gen'ei Shiranui
           (in air qcf + B)
       - Shippuu Ouken (qcf + A/C), after Zan'ei Ken (db, f + A/C)
      however, this (Shippuu Ouken), don't connect in any way, is
      unuseful...

      Basic Combo:
         (Corner) Jump C/D, stand C, f + B, qcf + B, press A, cancel
         into Chou Reppa Dan (qcb, hcf + B/D)

 =  Joe Higashi
     Mmmmm, this is added by Ivan.....
      - Bakuretsu Ken (Tap P rapidly)
      - Tiger Kick (dp + A/C) into Ougon no Tiger Kick (qcf, uf + B/D)

      Basic Combo:
        Is very hard conecct it, but this combo don't connect always...
        (Corner) Jump C, stand C, tap C rapidly, calcel into

     Ha! She is my specialty ...

   in combo.This move (Kohou Shippuu Ken)is cancelable into any <DM>.

     Basic Combo:
       Jump C, stand C, dp + C, cancel into Ryuuko Ranbu
        (qcf, hcb + A/C)

 =  Robert Garcia
     - Ryuuga (dp + A/C)
     - Sen'en Renbu Kyaku (close, hcf + B/D)
        NOTE: If the opponent is blocking Sen'en Renbu Kyaku, the
              last kick crash the guard, then you can cancel into
              Ryuuko Ranbu (qcf, hcb + A/C) ALWAYS.

     Basic Combo:
       Jump C, stand C, dp + A, cancel into Ryuuko Ranbu
        (qcf, hcb + A/C)

 =  Yuri Sakazaki
     She has a <DM> cancelable into another <DM>....
      - Kuuga (dp + A/C) cancel into any DM, SDM
      - <DM> Shin Chou Upper (qcf,qcf + B/D)

     Basic (amazing) Combo:
       Jump C/D, stand C/D, f + B, Shin Chou Upper (qcf,qcf + B/D)
        cancel into Yuri Chou Tsubamemai (A,A,f,B,C)

     Similar to Ryo, no combo. Can be cancelable into Shin Kishin Geki

    NOTE ABOUT KENSOU: You can cancel Ryuu Gakusai (D version only)
      into Senki Hakkei (qcf,qcf + AC) with only 2 stocks, it's
       weird, but is a cancel, but don't need stock =)

     His moves were changed..for all his moves you need a sip of
     sake (qcf + A/C)
       - Gou'en Shourai <DM> (qcf, hcb + A/C)
           cancel into Gouran Enpou (qcf,qcf + A/C)
           (can't be combo. is unuseful)
       - Ryuurin Hourai (dp + A/C)
       - Kaiten-teki Kuutotsu Ken (hcf + B/D)
       - Gouen Shourai: Kai (dp + B/D)

     Basic Combo:
       Jump C(2 hits), stand C, dp + C, cancel into Gouran Enpou

     Since time ago we know than Tekkyuu Funsai Geki: qcb + A/C
      is a supercancel, but we don't see it and we can't do it yet..

       FINAL NOTE:
        Kao Megura's FAQ says than Tekkyuu Funsai Geki (C version)
        is cancelable if it hits from behind....

 =  Choi Bounge
     So Cool Choi??
      - Tatsumaki Shippuu Zan ( charge d, then u + A) (1st hit)
        cancel into Shin! Chouzetsu Tatsumaki Shinkuu Zan
