I decided to do a guide about Cassandra because she is one of my favorite
characters in Rage of the Dragons,the others being Sonia, Pepe and Annie. But
since the other character faqs about them already exist, this is the only one
that I'll be doing. I did an effort to give you something acceptable, I'm not
the best videogamer, in fact, I have problems beating the game but hey, I only
have been playing the game for about three weeks and I'm practicing hard,
because practice is the key to master something so I'm trying my best to
improve, and maybe this inspires somebody better than me to do some work!!. I
hope that you find these lines useful. :-)

2.GAME SYSTEM
===============
The directions are as follows:
u- normal jump d- crouch
ub- backwards jump db- deffensive crouch
uf- forward jump df- offensive crouch
b- move character backwards f- move character forward
Command abbreviations:
QCF- down to forward motion
QCB- down to back motion
DP- forward, down, downforward motion
HCB- forward to back motion
HCF- back to forward motion
Special commands:
AB: Evade
forward+AB: Forward roll
back+AB: Backwards roll
BC: Change character
CD: First impact attack
Press and hold ABCD: Surrender
QCF+BC: Team Duplex attack (change bar must be full, uses 1 special gauge and
another for the followup, that is, the same secuence)
f,f (>>): Dash
b,b (<<): Quick escape

Real name: Cassandra Murata

Emblem: Gabriel's wing
Fighting style: Tenshino energy (Tenshi is one of the words to say "angel" in
japanese, so this may explain her movelist names, emblem, and those feathers)
Special partner: Oni

4.STORY
==============
Cassandra escaped from an orphanage among with Oni, and since then became
autist. After Oni defended her from a gang (and being injured in the process),
she asked Elias for help and both of them stayed with him. Once the Black
Dragon appeared, she convinced Oni to help her to search for her past.

5.COLORS
==============
These are the colors from wich you can choose:
A button: White outfit
B button: Dark blue outfit
C button: Reddish outfit
D button: Pink outfit, tan skin

6.MOVELIST
==============
Taunt: The taunt adds a bit to the fun of beating the enemy, and to give the
start button another use besides of start and continue. :-)
Cassandra waves her hair with a "sigh".
Command attacks:
f+B: This is an axe kick. Too slow to combo, overhead, can be followed by Wing
Slash and Illusion.
df+B: A sliding kick. Fast, hits low, easy to use in combos, sometimes deals
two hits, can be comboed (as far as I know) only into Wing Slash.
Special moves:
Fallen Angel (QCB+K in the air): Cassandra does a dive with her legs surrounded
by energy in a 45° angle. Can be done after an air normal, if it hits an enemy
in the ground. Difference between both versions is the range, D version having
about one body distance more than the B version. It doesn't look it, but the
air range to hit an airborne enemy is odd, sometimes being able to hit them
even at a lenght of one body. Main finisher of the aerial first impact combo.
Wing Slash (DP+P): (Note: I made up the name from what Cassandra says while
doing it). Cass does a small jump with her arm leaving a small trail of energy,
A version hits once, while C version hits twice, or even three hits at close
distance having a bit more of horizontal and vertical range. The downside is
that the priority isn't that great against air attacks, as you have to time it
right to hit before *or* after an attack is performed in the air. Main finisher
for ground combos.
Innocence (HCB+P): Cassandra "hugs" herself, if she is hit by high and mid
physical attacks (normals, specials and supers), grabs the enemy, jumps with
them, then dives and smashes them in the floor head first.
Illusion (QCF+K): Like a teleportation move, Cassandra vanishes while dashing
forward, leaving a trail of feathers. B version appears in front of the enemy
while D version appears behind them. Though Cassandra disappear, you still can
be hit. Useful for attack while pressing the opponent, and for beating those
cheap bosses.
**Super**
White Wave (QCB, HCF+P): Looks a lot like Geese's super. Cassandra raises her
hands, and then smash the floor while releasing a wing shaped tower of energy.
Hits twice, the only diference between A and C versions is the damage. Good
antiair, excelent finisher for the ground 1st impact combo.
Air White Wave (QCF, HCB+P in the air): Almost the same as the ground White
Wave, whit an added falling kick. Can be done after the air first impact, and
this is a funny thing, because when the flash of super comes out, the enemy
shakes a split second as if hit, though often the kick misses and only the
energy hits the opponent. Can deal up to three hits, if the enemy is caught
defenseless on the ground and the kick hits. The best finisher for the aerial
first impact combo, and best used if the enemy tries an antiair attack.
First impact description:
ABCCD (ground): Cassandra does her close A (elbow), close B (knee), close C
(upwards punch), far C (forward punch) and close D (kick in the face). Builds
up to half of the special meter, and can be followed by most of the moves.
ABCCD (air): Cassandra does all of her jumping attacks, being air A, air B,
vertical jumping C, forward jumping C, CD counter kick frame (this being from
the ground). Builds almost the full super meter, can be followed by Wing Slash,
Fallen Angel, Air White Wave, or Team Duplex.
Team Duplex actions:
Starter: Cassandra rushes forward and rams into the enemy. If it connects, does
close B, far B, close D, far D, far C, far A x2, close C, pass to the back of
the enemy and launches him to her partner with close D, dealing 10 hits.
Continues:
With Oni: Cassandra does her Illusion 4 times, then launches the enemy towards
Oni with close D. Oni does the B version of his Bloody Mess super, launching
the enemy into the air, then while Cassandra waves her hair, Oni does his
Cutting Edge sending the enemy back to Cass, and then she finishes with a White
Wave.
Edit team: Hitting the enemy at the same time with her partner, Cassandra does
close A, far A, close C, crouching B, far C, 1st impact attack, f+B, then hop
backwards and hits the enemy with far C while crossing with partner.

7.COMBOS
==============
Many of these combos are very easy, because in this game the basic combos are
mostly an attack linked after a 1st impact combo, or are performed like the
King of Fighters series, involving command attacks after the normals and then
following them with a special attack. Most of them came out while I was trying
many things. All of these combos can be followed by another if they send the
foe to a wall, they can be done while they bounce in the wall. Any combo
contribution will be very appreciated.
Fast combos:
*Jumping D, Wing Slash
*Jumping D, Falen Angel
*Jumping D, close C, Wing Slash, or you can add an extra hit doing df+B before
the Wing Slash.
1st impact combos:
*CD>>ABCCD, Angel Wing
*CD>>ABCCD, White Wave
*CD>>jump ABCCD, Fallen Angel
*CD>>jump ABCCD, Air White Wave
This combo is the longest that I've managed to do, too bad starts with a 1st
impact, maybe you can combo it. If so, please let me know how to do it, because
I can't combo it after any strong normal (jumping D, close D... you get the
idea) :-).
*CD>>ABCCD, QCB, HCF+A, wall, CD (either ground or aerial)>>ABCCD, QCB, HCF+P
(ground) or QCF, HCB +P (air).
For more damage, try to have as many power stocks as possible, or you can
change the first White Wave with Wing Slash, or Fallen Angel, as near as
possible to a wall for them to send the enemy into it.

8.WINNING QUOTES
================
These are the phrases that Cass says to her defeated opponent if she delivers
the killing blow or is tagged in from a Duplex. Each phrase is exclusive for
the last defeated opponent in a match. They will be listed in the order the
characters are in the selection screen.
VS. BILLY: You better leave this place, it's dangerous.
VS. LYNN: Don't hide your feelings, that's not good.
VS. RADEL: What a cruel destiny you carry on your shoulders.
VS. ANNIE: Are you OK? Please don't be angry for what I did.
VS. CASSANDRA: If you really were like me, you would know that I hate violence.
VS. ONI: Stop it brother! Stop this madness now!!
VS. PEPE: Impetuous boy, don't lose what makes you so special.
VS. PUPA: Is strange to find innocent hearts here.
VS. ALICE: Stay with Elias, he knows how to help you.
VS. ELIAS: Forgive me, but I must follow my brother.
VS. JONES: You're so funny, but I can't stay here so... bye bye.
VS. KANG: Maybe we can be friends.
VS. SONIA: You're like a child that only looks for protection.
VS. JIMMY: It's time to forget and forgive.
VS. ABUBO: Is so sad to know someone who has never been loved.

9.MISCELLANEOUS INFO
====================
This will be an open section, you can't never know how it may change. Again,
contribution is more than welcome. The only ones that I currently have:
-While doing the Ilussion or any of the White Wave versions, Cassandra releases
11 feathers. The maximum that you can have at once are 22, and this is only
posible in her special Team Duplex (with Oni).
-As you know, Abubo and Johann are very cheap, but Cassandra can be cheap with
them too. As they charge too fast, try to dodge as many attacks as you can
dealing damage when you can, and if they're charged (even 1 power stock is
useful) use the D version of Illusion, and most of the time they'll try to CD
counter you, but by that time you will be (hopefully, if not try again) behind
them, so combo them (first impact works wonders for me), but be careful of
Johann's fast recovery, and you're not forced to use this, it's only a
suggestion.
