Well, Blazing Star is the sequel to Pulstar. Blazing Star has improved
greatly from its predecessor. In this game, there are six ships to
choose from. All ships have their own strengths and weaknesses. There's
not much I can explain, so you'll have to play the game yourself, eh?

Part 6:  Bosses
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Stage 1:
This boss shouldn't be a problem. Stay in the center back of the
screen, dodge his gunfire, keep doing Charge attacks, and that's it. If
you have four levels, then Charge to the last level then let go to
attack this boss. If you're using a character with a close range Charge
attack, then get closer, but not too close, it's too dangerous, or just
stay back and use Rapid Fire.

Stage 2:
This boss could be a problem to beginning players. For its first form,
just dodge its spreaded red cubes, it shoots two spreads of this, so get
ready for some pretty good dodging. It also shoots yellow lasers that
spread as well. Pay attention to those too. When its tail charges, it
will shoot a lot of purple lasers that go after you, stop for a while,
then go after you again, so keep moving so you're not hit in order for
it to get off screen. Once its tail is destroyed, it won't use the
purple lasers again. It sometimes charges up with its left arm, then
shoots parabola beams in a line, stay out of the way and shoot it. Once
that form is destroyed, he will be in his last one.
This last form is pretty tough. First, he drops out little space bombs
that blow up into yellow, homing sparks that go after you. During this
time, he also releases blue lasers in the back that track you as well.
He will sometimes power up his main gun and shoot a laser beam that
lasts a few seconds, keep to the bottom of the screen, all the way,
until it's done. He also spins around going all over the screen shooting
a lot of bullets. It's hard to dodge these, but if you're using a Dino
ship, then it'll be easier on you because they have options to protect
the top and bottom part of the ship. Try dodging to your best ability,
and you'll come out alive.

Stage 3:
Well, this boss takes a long time to prepare. It shoots three sets of
lasers from its tail, each set made up of three purple lasers. It also
sends out four disc-like objects from the center of its head that follow
you. It has a green laser that it charges up for near its tail that
shoots in about four directions. The head of will sometimes break free
of the machine and crash into the wall, trying to hit you. When it is
rushing forward to hit the wall, it either shoots up or down blue, slow
lasers, depending on where it is when it rushes forward. Once this form
is destroyed, you will fight it in space.
It has six guns (their points form a hexagon) that shoot a lot of
bullets at the same time in a spreading fashion, nearly impossible to
dodge, unless you have a ship with little options to help it out. After
losing a certain amount of power, it will start shooting green disc-like
objects at you. It can also go near the top of the screen, go back and
forth dropping tons of space mines and shooting in a spreading fashion
with two of its guns. It also rushes forward to attack you.

Stage 4:
Near the center of the ship, there is a gun that shoots blue bullets
in a spreading fashion. This ship will also open up a part of it to
release some small ships. In the front of the ship, there is a gun that
shoots two purple lasers. It also has some missiles it shoots from time
to time. Once this form is destroyed, you will have to fight another
one.
In this form, it periodically drops a bomb of some sort that implodes
and shoots purple lasers in a circular form. The ship also shoots lasers
from the back that are a certain distance from each other and move
forward. The ship can also shoot out a lot of junk-like things that move
down slowly. It will sometimes spin around charging forward to attack you,
then while still spinning, go back to its original position.

Stage 5:
This boss makes its entrance by rushing down, then up. It has four
guns that charge up, then shoot a laser beam. It also shoots homing
missiles. You can destroy the guns that shoot laser beams. It will also
dive into the water, come up, shoot purple bullets in a circular
fashion, then drop down into the water. It can dive into the water, come
up, and move up slowly shooting in a spread fashion. If the ship doesn't
shoot when it's coming up slowly, it's going back to position. There are
two points on the ship that release small ships that fly around trying
to crash into you. This ship also goes up out of the screen then dives
down shooting a lot of green lasers. Then it rushes back up releasing a
lot of bombs that implode and are residual.

Stage 6:
This boss is made up of a lot of parts. The small rockets just shoot
bullets at you, so dodge those. The biggest machine will open up its
front to reveal a gun. It charges it up and shoots a really big laser
beam. The laser beam destroys all of the rockets shooting at you. The
machine leaves. Then, two more rockets appear that shoot a lot of
cube-like bullets at you. A purple ship will appear and it has four guns
that shoot lasers at you, and they're pretty quick. The rockets can also
shoot pretty big, green circular bullets at you. A huge ship then comes.
It is made up of many parts, and you have to destroy them all. It can
open up a small part of the ship that releases enemies. There is a gun
on the ship that shoots in a spreading fashion. During this time, it
will also shoot a stream of four lasers one after another. Rockets may
also come to aid this ship. You'll move on to the back of the ship. The
four lases still shoot at you, but enemies come to kill you. You then
move towards the top, where the ship leaves and tons of ships come to
try to kill you. Then, the purple ship appear again from the back. It
will shoot a few times with its four guns, then rockets will appear and
start shooting the cube-like bullets. The purple ship moves a bit, then
moves to the top right of the screen and starts shooting with its four
guns, with the rockets at the bottom of the screen shooting the
cube-like bullets. The purple ship will move around, so it's really hard
at this part to dodge everything. During this time, one rocket will move
to the top of the screen, and the three objects will start leaving.
After they leave, the big ship will come back and you'll be at the
top. There is one place at the top of the ship near the back that shoots
out tons of little ships that just want to crash into you. There is also
one point on the ship near the center back that shoots a lot of pretty
big, purple, circular bullets. Destroy everything and you're done with
this stage.

Stage 7:
This is the last boss and it has a lot of forms and is really
difficult. It first starts out by shooting at you with tons of
oval-shaped, purple bullets with three different guns. Ships also come
to try crashing into you. Near the top of this boss, it charges up and
shoots a stream of green, uh...tadpoles (well, not really, but I'm not
going to say what it really is). Once this form is destroyed, you'll go
to the next one.
This form is just the baby. It shoots at you in a triangular form with
blue and purple bullets. It just follows you and shoots you. Once this
form is destroyed, you'll go to the next one.
This form is still the baby, but now it has a HUGE gun. It shoots a
line of circular, purple bullets in a spreading fashion. It can also
charge up for a shot that is yellow and residual. It also shoots a lot
of small missiles from the back then rushes forward to kill you. After
this form is destroyed, on to the last one.
This form is a huge one, and the baby's head is protected by an
electric barrier of some sort. Where the electric barrier is, out comes
a lot of really huge bullets. The baby's head shoots purple bullets in
a spreading fashion. Once barrier stops, then it will go to another
mode. The baby also has two guns that shoot blue bullets continuously
in four directions each that move around circularly. Also, little
missile-like objects come from the baby's mouth, then they attack you.
Try destroying the arm-like objects that shoot out the continuous stream
of blue bullets. The baby will also spit out green circular bullets.
>From one of the parts where you destroyed the arm, little babies will
come out to attack you. Also, tons and tons of oval-shaped, purple
bullets will come from where the arms were destroyed.

Part 8:  Basic Strategies and Tips
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Well, each ship has their own unique strengths/weaknesses. If you like
to play in a certain way, then there is a probably a ship to match your
liking. Anyway, there's not much to it, but dodging is a key, and if you
can't dodge, then you'll die a lot. You also need to destroy as many
enemies as you can because if you don't, well, they can shoot at you or
do something else. So it's your choice, do your best and live longer, or
slack off and die early.
