Version History

1.0 - First version, a few errors
1.1 - Some mathematical errors corrected
=========================
2) What is SURVIVAL MODE?
=========================
Survival mode is a gauntlet type match where you go against 99
wrestlers in a row. You eliminate them hoping to make lots of
Smackdown Mall money and to unlock secret characters
(we'll get to those later).
The rules of survival mode are as follows:
------------------------------------------
1) You can only eliminate from a pin, a submission, a TKO (knock out) and
knocking your opponent out of the ring.
2) Once YOU are eliminated the game is over.
3) CAWs (create a wrestlers) are not in survival
4) only 3 other wrestlers are allowed in the ring with you (obviously)
5) Its not all 99 CPU opponents v player 1, its all against all (but you
don't make as much money if you let the CPU eliminate lots of people).
=================================================
ii) the SECRET characters (in alphabetical order)
=================================================
The SECRET characters that CAN be unlocked in survival are:
1) Andre the Giant
2) Cactus Jack
3) Jerry Lawler/Jim Ross/Pat Patterson/Gerald Brisco
4) Ken Shamrock
5) Mae Young
6) Mick Foley
7) Shane McMahon
8) Shawn Michaels
9) Vince McMahon
===========================================
The order of entry for the secret charaters
===========================================
====|===================================================|==========|
SC# | Secret Character name |Entrance #|
====|===================================================|==========|
1st | Jerry Lawler/Jim Ross/Pat Patterson/Gerald Brisco | 10th-19th|
====|===================================================|==========|
2nd | Shane McMahon | 20th-29th|
====|===================================================|==========|
3rd | Mae Young | 30th-39th|
====|===================================================|==========|
4th | Cactus Jack | 40th-49th|
====|===================================================|==========|
5th | Ken Shamrock | 50th-59th|
====|===================================================|==========|
6th | Vince McMahon | 60th-69th|
====|===================================================|==========|
7th | Mick Foley | 70th-79th|
====|===================================================|==========|
8th | Shawn Micheals | 80th-89th|
====|===================================================|==========|
9th | Andre the Giant | 90th-99th|
====|===================================================|==========|
NOTE: You *MUST* eliminate these people *YOURSELF* for them to be
unlocked.
this can be a very common error in survival.
Letting the CPU eliminate them *WILL NOT* unlock them

iii) Prize Money
================
The money received can be worked out like this:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
3a) KNOCKED OUT OF THE RING ELIMINATION
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
==========================|=======================|==========|
Man Eliminated by you | Money for elimination | Total |
==========================|=======================|==========|
1st | $10 | $10 |
==========================|=======================|==========|
2nd | $20 | $30 |
==========================|=======================|==========|
3rd | $30 | $60 |
==========================|=======================|==========|
4th | $40 | $100 |
==========================|=======================|==========|
5th | $50 | $150 |
==========================|=======================|==========|
6th | $60 | $210 |
==========================|=======================|==========|
7th | $70 | $280 |
==========================|=======================|==========|
8th | $80 | $360 |
==========================|=======================|==========|
9th | $90 | $450 |
==========================|=======================|==========|
10th | $100 | $500 |
==========================|=======================|==========|

==========================|=======================|==========|
12th | $120 | $780 |
==========================|=======================|==========|
13th | $130 | $910 |
==========================|=======================|==========|
Now, can you see where this is going?
Thats right if say, the guy you eliminate is you 67th 'knocked
out of ring' elimination you will make $670 for that particular
elimination.
A quick tip - Weak (or strong) grapple your opponent then irish
whip them to the ropes and chase them. Just as their backs touch
the ropes pull off a running attack to knock them onto the apron,
then simply use a strong striking attack (preferably A+B) to
knock them off the apron.
A quick tip 2 - Try using strong striking moves like Perry
Saturns leg sweep or Bradshaws hammer (these are great if
you use them repeatedly). These should eliminate people FAST!
Also if you perfect this technique you will find this method
the easiest method.

As you have probably noticed this is the same as the 'knock out of
ring' chart but because its more of an effort to pin you get an
added $300 on each elimination.
A quick tip - Start off by picking out the on man that is watching the
other two fighting and use weak grapples on him. Do this until you have a
special then you should be able to hit more than one finisher, then go
for an easy 3 count.
A quick tip 2 - If you are not being picked on late into the match, start
taunting until you get a special.Strong grapple the guy who has been in the
ring the longest (or has taken the biggest beating) and hit a special on him
for the 1,2,3.
Pinning is an elimination that takes alot of weak grapples, strong grapples
and taunts to finally hit that/those special(s).

These two (submission and TKO) are both under the same section because
they both give you the same amoun't of money per elimination.
A quick tip 1 - For the submissions, find somebody who has lots of strong submission
moves to use, i.e Ken Shamrock (if you have bought him from the Smackdown
Mall or unlocked him in the survival already), Steve Blackman or possible
a CAW that has a lot of submission holds.
A quick tip 2 - For the TKOs try to avoid Andre (if you have already
unlocked him in the WWF championship or in the survival already),
some pick Andre for his front special, but this is not very
reliable as for getting TKOs. Instead try to use
Triple H (for the pedigree), The Rock (for the Rock Bottom),
Stone Cold (for the Stone Cold Stunner, BEST PICK because you can
get 3 or maybe 4 specials in at once).
