III. WEAPONS
-Tek bow-
Ammo: Energy.
Primary fire: Energy arrow.
Secondary fire: Sniper scope.
Personal thoughts: This is just like the plasma rifle, but in sniper view, the
tek bow will usually kill in 2 or 3 shots.
-Mag 60-
Ammo: Bullet/Energy.
Primary fire: Three shots.
Secondary fire: Laser sight (locks on to enemies a short distance away).
Personal Thoughts: The laser sighting is good because it can kill in 1 or 2
shots, but it has a real short range.
-Assault rifle-
Ammo: Bullet.
Primary fire: Single shot.
Secondary fire: Auto assualt (rapid fire).
Personal thoughts: I belive that the single shot is more powerful then the rapid
fire, but at close range with the auto fire, you can tear people up!.
-Shotgun-
Ammo: Bullet.
Primary fire: Double barreled shot.
Secondary fire: Street sweeper (four shots fired rapidly).
Personal thoughts: The street sweeper will kill if most of the shot hits him.
It is great for making crowded rooms not so crowded.
-Minigun-
Ammo: Bullet/Energy (energy used for shield).
Primary fire: Rapid fire.
Secondary fire: Shield (press for temporary shield, hold for continuous sheild,
but you can't move).
Personal thoughts: With the shield up, you litteraly becoume a turret. You have
protection while you can dish out the pain with the minigun
-Plasma rifle-
Ammo: Energy.
Primary fire: Energy shot.
Secondary fire: Sniper scope.
Personal thoughts: With the sniper scope up, you fire in rapid fire. Be
carefull, you'll run out of ammo before you realize it. It's good, but you need
good aim and a lot of ammo.
-Grenade launcher-
Ammo: Explosive rounds.
Primary fire: Bounce grenade.
Secondary fire: non-bounce grenade.
Personal thoughts: I personaly prefere the non-bounce grenade more then the
scorpion missle launcher because I think they do the same damage and the grenade
launcher lets you see more of the screen.
-Scorpion missle launcher-
Ammo: Explosive/Energy.
Primary fire: Missle.
Secondary fire: Rocket magnet/repulsor.
Personal thoughts: Powerful. I haven't found a use for the repulsar mark. It
cuases it to
curve, but since the levels have square corners, it usually hits
the walls.
-Napalm gel-
Ammo: Explosive.
Primary fire: Napalm canister (up to three), (will stick to walls, cielings,
people, etc.)
Secondary fire: Detonate canisters
Personal thoughts: Useful for setting up traps to ambush and weaken an opponent.
-Warhammer-
Ammo: none.
Primary fire: Swing.
Secondary fire: Charge (makes next swing more powerful).
Personal thoughts: What can I say about a weapon that has no distance? This
weapon sucks.
-Boomerang-
Ammo: None/energy.
Primary fire: Throw (will follow for a short distance).
Secondary fire: Throw and slow (when hit, enemy will be slowed).
Personal thoughts: The throw and slow is useful, but by the time you get the
boomerang back and switch to a weapon that can do some real damage, the enemy is
already back to normal speed.
-Emaciator-
Ammo: Energy
Primary fire: Wither shot (causes enemy to thin).
Secondary fire: Charged whither (will kill with one shot. If it hits a wall
instead, will shoot out wisps of energy that harm people).
Personal thoughts: The rapid fire is not very useful because it does little
damage and makes the target thinner, making them harder to hit. The
charged is useful in a crowded room because if you don't hit
someone, the blast will usually deal moderate damage to
everyone close by.
-Inflator-
Ammo: Energy.
Primary fire: Oxygen dart (will cause enemy to inflate. After so many shots
will cause enemy to
"pop".
Secondary fire: Chraged oxygen dart.
Personal thoughts: The cheapest gun in the game. If you want to rack up kills
in multiplayer, this is the gun of choice.
-Chest burster- (must be unlocked first in 1 Player Trial mode)
Ammo: Energy
Primary fire: Talon shot.
Secondary fire: Embryo shot (if enemy is hit, they are injected with an embryo.
After short period of time, if you are not killed and they do not find a power
core, the thing from "Aliens" will burst out of thier chest.)
Personal thoughts: I really like this gun, if only for the humor of watching the
alien burst out of the person's chest
-Flare gun-
Ammo: Energy.
Primary fire: radioactive flare.
Secondary fire: Radioactive meltdown (more powerful and last longer).
Personal thoughts: A great way to be cheap in Tag. Just shot the flare in the
path of the chicken or monkey, and they will usually die.
-Freeze gun-
Ammo: Energy.
Primary fire: nitrogen shot (will slow enemy down).
Secondary fire: Nitrogen frost (will freeze enemy).
Personal thoughts: The most useless gun in the game. You must shoot them
constantly to keep
them slow, and they can still fire at you while you are doing
this. Does very little damage.
PICK UPS
-PFM mine-
Use: A proximity mine.
-Sentry turret-
Use: A turret that will fire a rapid fire gun at enemies that come to close.
-Cerebral bore-
Use: One shot weapon that will seek out enemy for large amount of damage.
-Monkey retaliation-
Use: Turns all other players into monkeys/chickens, but you will later turn back
into a chicken/monkey. Can only be picked up by the "tagged" person.
POWER CORE POWERS
-Energy vampire-
You gain life equal to the amount of damage that you deal.
--Regeneration-
You regain back life at about 2 per second.
-Bullet shield-
Immune to bullet weapons
