I just wanna say that this took me a very, and I mean VERY long time to make.
Before I get into the "why I'm doing this" details, let me tell you about this
game. Sin and Punishment is a game that was originally released for the
Nintendo 64 in Japan on November 21, 2000. It was originally going to be named
"Glass Soldier" but it was changed to "Sin and Punishment: Successor of the
Earth". It was published by Nintendo, and developed by legendary game studio,
Treasure. The game stars two teenagers as the main characters in this story.
They are known as Saki Amamiya and Airan Jo, being led by a mysterious girl
named Achi. This game is probably the most intense and most high rated games
for the N64 around that time. Critical response for the game was met with
positive reviews. Many fans wanted this game to be released in the USA, but
Treasure feared the ending of the N64's lifespan, and quietly removed the
title from Nintendo's list on importing it to American shores. Despite the
game being entierally made in Japan, the game features English voice actors.
Around 2006, a small website by the name of Vanit Studios released a patch that
actually translates the entire rom game into English. All subtitles, all menu
text, everything. Well, at least to my knowledge. Due to the fan response of
wanting the game in America, Nintendo decided to release the game to their
virtual console titles with an exception of an extra 200 wii points. Despite
this being entireally translated by Nintendo, the only thing that remained
uncut was the Japanese subtitles mostly due to the fact that the voices are
entierally in English, and was the first VC title to recive a "T" rating. Due
to the sucess of it being on the VC, Nintendo decided to make a sequeal to the
game for the Wii titled "Sin & Punishment: Star Successor". Super Smash Bros
Brawl features Saki as an assist trphoy. Now then, time to explain why I'm
doing this. The reason is that there are times when I can't understand a word
some of the characters in the game are even SAYING. And I don't wanna put the
volume on my TV too loud to hear. So I thought, why not try and make a
transcript of the game itself? I mean, There isn't any, and I mean ANY ANY
ANY transcript of this game ANYWHERE ON THIS INTERNET!!!!! Why didn't YOU guys
do it first?!?! You're leaving ME to do all the work FOR you!!! UGH!!! X(
Anyway, I did my VERY best to figure out what the characters said
and such. I even resorted to find clips of the English Patched Rom as well.
.. There's just ONE video...
Anyway, enough chit chat, let's get down to the story, shall we?
Before we begin, let's talk about several scene changing moition thingies.
Fade out/in (Fades out/in to/from black) <---Same goes to fade in from white.
Fade to (The scene fades into another scene)
Cut to (Scene cuts to another part)
Enter gameplay (You play the game event as essential to the story.)
End gameplay (Gameplay part ends and enters a cutscene/new chapter.)
Now that we've got that out of the way, we'll start out with...
====2. Prologue====
Fade in to- Through the eyes of a girl, looking at a digital clock near a
magazine and an empty soda can. The clock reads AM 3:30, while the date reads
"JUL-15-2007".
Girl: Achi... Achi... Hurry... Save us... Achi...
Soldiers come in and start shooting. The girl collapses on the floor as it
fades in to a slight red, then to white.
Fade in from white- We see several soldiers around some dead bodies and empty
boxes.
Commander: Are these the rebels?
Soldier: One group of them, sir. They have no strength to resist any longer.
Commander: But the leaders are still alive. There's no time now. Join the
troops intercepting the Ruffians.
Cut to- The same digital clock, smeered with blood. The time this time is
AM 3:31.
Fade out.
Fade in to- The Shinjuku station. On top of the roof is a young woman siting
on the edge of the building.
A vision of a pair of eyes appears above the woman along with a man's voice as
the background fades to black.
Man's voice: Kachyua, listen. A Ruffian swarm is approaching your position.
I've also confirmed Rudan's location.
Kachyua: Didn't I tell you? Make me the bait and Rudan will come to feast.
Rudan is jealous of me. I took you for myself. (A short vision of Rudan, a
Ruffian monster is shown until it cuts back to the vision of the eyes and
Kachyua again.)
Man's voice: I have chosen you.
Fade to- Rudan roaring on top of a building with birds flying away.
Fade out.
Fade in to- A vision of the same rebels that were killed ealier.
Fade out to white
In a flash, a young girl in a green dress snaps out of the vision, kneeling to
the ground, while another woman keeps watch from the front door.
????: Michiko's group. They've all been killed.
?????: Achi, did you seem them? Cold blooded killers! Even if we steal the
damn transport, it won't mean anything if there's no on to ride in it.
Achi: Relax, Airan. You'll wake Saki. (They see a young teen named Saki, still
asleep, leaning on the floor against the wall with his weapon near him.)
They've put their faith in us. We must try to help the others.
Airan: That's only if the soldiers hit the Ruffians like we expected.
Achi: Not expected... As I predicted. I will have a good window.
Cut to- Saki, still sleeping.
Achi's voice: Soon... It will all begin.
We see Saki's gun twirling around in darkness before...
Fade out.

=======3. Chapter 1 (Part 1)=======
(Enter gameplay)
Saki is running through a field, shooting down Ruffian monsters.
Saki continues running until he encounters the Bee Seemer.
Saki defeats it. Just then, huge worm-like Ruffian beasts come out of nowhere
and dig deep into the earth as Saki continues on.
Saki continues fighting Ruffians until... He stops in place, and encounters
the Centipede Seemer.
Saki defeats it sucessfully and continues running...
After you defeat all the monsters and mini bosses...
Fade out.
(End gameplay)
Fade in to- Saki, still leaning against the wall, asleep.
Airan's voice: Saki?... Oh Saki...
Saki slowly wakes up, slightly groggy.
Airan: Good morning, Saki.
Saki's voice: Good morning, Airan. (Airan tosses Saki's gun to him in a
slow-motion sequence. The gun lands into Saki's hand.)
Achi: (Standing near the front door.) Come on, we've got work to do.
Saki and Airan get ready as the screen fades out to white.
Fade in from white- The heroes begin to strike.
Achi: Let's go!
(Enter gameplay)
The heroes fight their way until Airan and Achi start getting chased by an
Armed Volenteer squad in a flying vehicle.
Airan: Saki! Watch out behind us!
Saki shoots them down.
Airan: Nice shot! Keep it up!
The heroes make their way until more soldiers in flying machines begin to
attack again.
Airan: Take care of it, Saki!
Saki attacks more soldiers until he blows up the Armed Volunteers Base,
letting him past.
Some flying Ruffians fly in as well as other Ruffians crawl off, not
bothering Saki.
Saki: Ruffins? Here? already?
A loud roar is heard.
A Ruffian crab monster named Crab Seemer attacks. Saki takes it down easily.
He then makes his way as the Volunteers cargo ship starts dropping bombs.
Saki dodges and shoots them off until he encounters more soldiers, including
one named Colderon.
He sucessfully destroys them.
(End gameplay)
The group is close to the station they needed to enter. But an Armed
Volenteers Ship called Near Zero flies in.
Saki: (Achi ducks) Where'd they come from?!
Near Zero stops in front of the heroes, ready to attack.
Saki: Airan, cover our back! (Airan and Achi fall back to let Saki take the
ship down.)
(Enter gameplay)
Saki manages to destroy the Near Zero Ship. It explodes.
(End gameplay)
The heroes make their way to the station.
Saki: Come on, quick! Into the Shinjuku station!
Airan: Hurry! The Ruffian swarm has started attacking!
Fade out.
=======End of Chapter 1 (Part 1)=======
=======4. Chapter 1 (Part 2)=======
Fade in- The group is in an elevator, trying to get it to move.
Airan: There, that should get the elevator moving.
Saki: You think they're on to us?
Airan: Maybe. But they're probably more worried about the Ruffians.
Achi: (There's some rumbling above outside as Achi looks up.) I hear voices up
above.
Cut to- Outside the elevator with Armed Volenteer soldiers getting ready to
attack.
Saki's voice: I'll check it out. Just keep the elevator moving. (He jumps out
of the elevator through the hatch on top, and attacks soldiers that are armed.)
(Enter gameply)
Saki fights his way until he confronts Lizard Seemer.
Saki defeats it.
As he continues to attack, the elevator starts moving again. All of a sudden,
Kachyua jumps in out of nowhere and lands behind him.
Kachyua: Skip the small-fry! Capturing Rudan's our top prority! (She jumps out
of the way in the nick of time for Rudan to jump in and bound out of
Saki's way.)
(If you are not careful, Rudan will land on Saki, and you'll get damage.)
Saki continues fighting Ruffians until he encounters the Moth Seemer. Saki
manages to defeat it.
(End gameplay)
The elevator goes up faster and faster. Saki sees sunlight.
Fade out to white.
Fade in from white- Saki sees the transporter up and running. The hatch opens
up from the elevator.
Saki: A transport! Airan, take the controls.
Airan: (Achi runs inside) Hurry, Saki!!
Rudan then jumps out of nowhere and attempts to attack the ship.
Inside the ship- Airan takes control of the ship.
Airan: Whoa! Hold on!!
Cut to- Outside. The ship turns around as Rudan plans to attack. Airan then
tries to push Rudan off the building.
Airan's voice: Down, dammit! Fall down, you stupid beast! (Rudan falls off as
the ship begins to fly higher into the air.)
Rudan wasn't done yet. It jumps back on top of the building to confront Saki.
(Enter gameplay)
Saki fights Rudan. Around the same time, Kachyua jumps in.
Kachyua: I won't let you kill Rudan!
(If you hit Kachyua, she'll fall to the ground, unable to help Rudan. she'll
stay knocked out until you defeat the boss. If you continue fighting Rudan
without hitting Kachyua, she'll just stand and jump near Rudan until Rudan
gets defeated. She'll become knocked out in this point as well.)
Saki defeats Rudan.

=======5. Chapter 1 (Part 3)=======
Kachyua struggles to stand up straight.
Kachyua: My research materials... How could you...
Saki: (Pointing his gun at Kachyua) So you're the leader of these killers?
The same pair of eyes in a vision appear again with the same man's voice.
Man's voice: Kachyua, stop. He's one of the rebels...
Small drops of Kachyua's blood drops the ground.
Kachyua: Let ME take him. He's only HUMAN. Now's our chance to test the power
of the blood you gave me.
(Enter gameplay)
Kachyua flashes white as corpses of Armed Volenteer soldeirs fly in and are
tossed to Saki.
Saki slashes and shoots rapidly.
A huge discarded ship begins to fall to Saki.
(If you don't slash or dodge it, Saki will take damage.)
More corpses of soldiers still keep coming. Saki continues to attack.
Then, an Armed Volenteer ship starts heading toward Saki as well.
(Saki must slash or shoot it or he'll get damaged.)
Kachyua kneels to the ground, groaning loudly in pain. She then dashes toward
Saki attempting to damage him.
(If you let Kachyua hit you, you'll take damage. You must strike when she's
near Saki.)
(End gameplay)
After Saki slashes her in self defense, Kachyua staggers near the edge of the
building, groaning loudlyin pain.
Kachyua: (She falls off the building.) BRAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saki looks down, watching her fall. All of a sudden, the whole place starts
shaking violently.
Fade out to white.
Fade in from white- Some buildings start falling into chaos.
Cut to- The country Japan, with a red mark showing the explosion.
Cut to- Downtown Japan. A huge ocean of blood floods the cities, as buildings
and everything in site crumbles to destruction.
Cut to- The country Japan again with a huge red explosion being visible.
Cut to- Back to the city, the buildings were coming down as the blood floods
the city.
Saki watches as the transporter begins to fly off. We see a vision of Achi.
Achi's voice: Ok, Saki... Show me what you've got...
Saki begins to fall in the sea of blood. Saki struggles to stay alive, but
drowns in it.
After a moment, a huge monster comes out of the sea of blood as another
building crashes into oblivion. It was Saki as a Ruffian beast. He
roars loudly.
The vision of the man's eyes appear again.
Man's voice: So Achi and her friends have it in them too? If he's got Ahchi's
blood in him... then what in the world is he? (All of a sudden, in front of
Ruffian Saki, another Ruffin monster twice bigger than him emerged from the
sea of blood. It was...) K-Kachyua?? Don't fight, Kachyua, Wait for me.
Can you no longer hear me?
(Enter gameplay)
Ruffin Saki fights against Ruffian Kachyua. After Kachyua was defeated in one
point. She submerges into the bloody water as Saki attacks her forehead,
hiding in the sea.
After doing so, Kachyua emerges again and uses some purple beams to fire
at Saki.
Saki sucessfully defeats Kachyua. Kachyua roars in pain.
(End gameplay)
Fade in from a flash of red.
Ruffian Kachyua was defeated and slowly falls to the bloody water.
The transporter flies in.
Airan's voice: Saki!! SAKI!!
Cut to- The ship, Achi was moving Airan, trying to get her attention.
Achi: We can't go near him yet.
Cut to- Outside again, Ruffin Saki slowly turns around.
Airan's voice: Is that... Is that Saki?
Cut to- The ship, Achi still tries to get Airan's attention. Airan's head is
down in sorror.
Achi: We can change him back, ok? Just not now...
Cut to- Outside, Saki raises his arm to destroy the ship.
Airan's voice: We're the only ones left... Everyone else is dead...
Cut to- The ship, Achi relizes that Saki's gonna attack the ship.
Achi: DAMMIT!!
Saki destroys the ship. Achi and Airan, glowing purple were not harmed at all.
They both teleport away to safety as the screen fades out to white,
then black.
=======End of Chapter 1 (Part 3)=======
=======6. Chapter 2 (Part 1)=======
Fade in- We see some ships flying in and landing on a fleet war ship.
Fade into- The man's eyes again.
Man's voice: Kachyua...
The eyes shrink in as they fade into...
A man sitting in a control chair with an angry look on his face. We see two
identical unknown twin characters in front of him.
Man on screen: I understand your feelings, Brad. Kachyua was a good match for
you. Both militarly and emotionally. But I can't lose you too. Retreat.
There's no hope for Japan.
Brad: There's an enemy out there... A monster... I won't let it run free.
(He gets up as a robotic-like cat creature named Leda sits near him as he
walks foward.)
Leda: Thinking of revenge?
Brad: I lost Kachyua! Now it's Achi's turn to lose something!
Leda: Kachyua's gone... Think of the living. Like me! (She prances away.)
Brad: Rudan... Kachyua... The women I passed my blood to... How could they...
Achi, I'm going to show the world how weak your beast really is. (He smiles
evilly)
Fade out to white.
Fade in from white- Achi and Airan float down until they appear in a red
storage room.
Achi: (Holding Airan up.) This is the safest spot. It's the Armed
Volenteer's Ship.
Brad's voice appears from speakers in the room.
Brad's voice: Attention. Attention. Our defence of Tokyo has failed. But we
shall remain in Japan to battle this new beast.
Airan: Beast...?
Cut to- Outside at sea. The warships were sailing across as Brad's voice in
the intercom continued speaking.
Brad's voice: It's target is a Ruffian Lare in Hokkaido. By eating Ruffians,
it will strengthen. By assimiliatingthem, it will threaten humanity! Rudan's
tragedy cannot be repeated! As your commander I urge you to find the courage
to engage this beast! (When he finishes, Airan points her gun and shoots
at the speakers where the intercom played.)
Smoke comes out of the speakers when she fired at it.
Airan: Him! So HE'S their commander!
Fade out.
Fade in to- Airan takes off her armored shirt to reveal a blue tanktop. She
begins to fight her way through.
(Enter gameplay)
Leda meows as she scurries ahead of Airan, still shooting down obstacles in
her way.
Leda was then cornered in several pillars. Aira uses the missiles floating
around as her advantage to attack Leda. After a few hits, Leda starts hopping
from pillar to pillar.
Brad's eyes appear in a vision.
Brad's voice: I will NOT let you kill Leda!
Powerful bursts of purple waves appear.
(You'll get damaged if you contact them. So you must slash Leda when she lands
on a pillar near you.)
When you hit Leda one last time, Leda will drop behind a pillar and drop a
bomb, destroying the pillars.
(If you stand behind the pillars when this happens, you won't take damaged
from the bomb, and you'll continue with your health still intact.)
Airan continues to chase Leda down while dodging/destroying some machinery
firing beams. She makes her way until she encounters a bigger machine
firing ammo.
She manages to destroy it's ammo until she finishes off the Vigilanced System
connected to it.
She destroys the machine.
Airan continues to chase Leda. Leda makes her way down some stairs as Airan
continues to give chase.
Leda then runs off as Airan encounters into some weird green-like orb of ooze
monster called Anemone Seemer.
Airan succesfully defeats it.
(End gameplay)
Airan: The traps were for Ruffians? So what they captured broke free?
All of a sudden, a different Ruffian monster called Crawfish Seemer appears
behind Achi.
Achi: Airan!! (The monster spews green ooze onto Achi, holding her hostage.
The creature begins to roll the green ball away as Airan jumps out of
the way.)
Airan: Wait! Stop! (She chases down the monster.)
(Enter gameplay)
Airan jumps and moves as quick as she could to defeat the Crawfish Seemer. She
manages to kill it as the green ball of ooze tumbles away from it.
(End gameplay)
Fade out to white.
Fade in from white- Airan pulls Achi out of the green ooze ball.
Airan: You could've just teleported free... (She pulls Achi out. Achi lands on
top of Airan.)
Achi: (Pounding Airan) Idiot! Don't you realize how dangerous teleporting is!?
Cut to- Brad and Leda in the control room.
Leda: They're dangerous!! They were about to kill me!!
Brad: These enemies out-match you, Leda. (As he continues, we see Airan and
Achi still pursing) They're all that remain of Achi and her followers. It's
quite possible that the girl has inherited Achi's blood. This time I will
face them. You must stay back.
Leda scurries off as Airan and Achi managed to confront Brad.
Airan: (Pointing her gun at Brad.) Well, Commander! Now I'll avenge my friends.
Brad: The pleasure will be all mine.
(Enter gameplay)
Brad attacks Airan.
(You must attack Leda while avoiding Brad's attacks. When you kill Leda,
she'll scream in agony, explode, and will fling off-screen..)
Brad: I'm not through yet!!
Brad then uses his sword attacks attempting to kill Airan.
(Airan must use her sword attacks to counter-attack Brad. You must rapidly
press the fire button in order to knock Brad into the glass. Brad will then
attack again, but when you strike before he could do one final attack, he'll
slam into the glass again. For the third time, repeat pressing the attack
button until Airan's final attack shoves Brad again, smashing the glass,
making him fall from the ship.)
(End gameplay)

=======7. Chapter 2 (Part 2)=======
Airan: (Her sword shuts off) He also had strange powers.
Brad then appears on a flying aircraft outside.
Brad: Strange powers indeed. It seems like Achi has taught you nothing. My
powers were given to me by Achi. Achi passed her blood to me. The same goes
for that kid who transformed into the beast.
Airan: Saki's nothing like you. (She steps aside.)
Achi: I never thought you'd tried to make friends by passing your blood.
Cut to- A scene of Kachyua falling into darkness as Achi continues.
Achi's voice: Perhaps not friends... Perhaps just research for your
transformation.
Fade in from white-
Achi: (A smug grin on her face) Change can be a scary thing if you don't know
how to change back. (She nudges Leda's corpse and hops over it.) Airan... Do
you want to change Saki back into a human?
Airan nods.
Achi then uses her telekenises powers with puprle aura forming.
Fade out to white.
Fade in from white.
Brad: Watch out! All fighters away from the flagship!
Cut to- The warship. It tilts as it begins to sink.
Airan's voice: Wha-?! The floor!
Achi's voice: If they attack Saki from the air, then we'll need THIS.
An explosion occurs from the warship as Achi uses her powers to make a piece
of the ground fly in the air.
Brad: What the-?! All Fighters break apart!
The jets fly off as Airan gets ready to fight.
(Enter gameplay)
Airan keeps shooting down and slashing Volenteers as Achi uses her powers to
make the floating floor fly around. She uses the missiles against the
Volunteers to destroy helicopters, and destroy parts of the ships.
Winged Ruffians fly in at some point.
At another point, Airan gets attacked by an Armed Volunteers Aircraft called
Near Zero Minor.
She manages to destroy it. She then continues her pursuit in fighting the
soldiers on the water.
Airan then comes face to face with the Raptor Seemer.
She destroys it.
Airan then encounters three huge monster-like machines. After defeating two of
them, she defeats the main one called Sentry Machinery.
It was successfuly destroyed.
Airan manages to slow down the warships and defeat most of the Armed
Volenteers.
(End gameplay)
Cut to- The jets with Brad clicking a weapon in his hand He was still riding
on top of one as they fly in past Airan and Achi.
Airan: Him!
The jets turn around to confront the two girls.
Brad: Here we go! You will get us through this crisis!
(Enter gameplay)
Airan shoots at the jets and at Brad's ship, Malacia, while dodging the other
jet's attacks.
Airan manages to destroy the ships.
(End gameplay)
The ship Brad rides on is caught on fire and explodes while the screen fades
out to white then back again to reveal Airan starring at the ship, watching it
burn with fire and all the pieces come off. Brad was just standing on it, not
saying anything, and looking quite angry.
Airan watches his face. She then turns to Achi, jumping joyfully as she mocks
the enemies. The jets crashing into the war ships, and fall into the
ocean as well.
Achi: Hahaha! Look at them! They can't even escape!
Cut to- The warships on the seas while more jets fall into the ocean. Achi
continues mocking them happily.
Achi's voice: They're CRYING! Haha! They're crying Brad's name!
Cut to- Achi and Airan again as more ships continue crashing and blowing up.
Achi: The Armed Volenteers are extinct!
Cut to-Brad, still didn't say anything.
Achi's voice: You're all alone now. Come back to me if you want friends. Or
would you rather transform? For one last evil gasp.
Brad's burning ship then launched up in the air and dissapeared in a brilliant
flash, leaving a faint ball of light in the air. Small balls of light float
past the two girls.
Airan: Is he... dead?
Achi: In a final bit of the word justice. He just wanted the world to see him
fight the Ruffians and Saki. To humans, our power is an object of either
hostility or warship. (As she continues, a black shadow looms over them)
I guess Brad just didn't want to be hated by mankind.
Airan and Achi both look up to see a huge flying battleship up in the air...
Cut to- The battleship. We get a closer look at it.
Cut to- Achi and Airan on the floating floor, heading straight to the
battleship.
Airan: Is that the U.S. Army?
Achi: No, the weapons maker that backed Brad just sent that in.
Airan gets ready to attack.
(Enter gameplay)
Airan keeps shooting down several parts of the ship to slow it down.
At the engines, she destroys the Earth Eyelid "Rear Crater".
As she continues attacking, the ship begins to open up.
The floating ground makes it's way to the center of the ship.
Airan manages to dodge several electric beams at the near end.
(If you slash the center after you dodge all the electric beams, you'll get
a bonus. If not, you won't get a bonus, but the game will
still continue on.)

=======8. Chapter 2 (Part 3)=======
Cut to- The battleship. A huge missile charges up and shoots out of the ship.
Airan and Achi witness this from above.
Airan: (Gasps) That's targeting Saki!
Cut to- Ruffian Saki. He looks up to see the missle.
Cut to- The missle going faster and faster as Airan and Achi try to stop it.
(Enter gameplay)
Airan uses her gun to try and destroy the missile.
As the missile was getting closer, Saki uses his gun attack to try and damage
the missile.
(Be careful and try and dodge Saki's attacks or you'll get damaged.)
The missile was getting closer and closer. It was close to Airan so she can
slash it with her sword attack.
(If the missile is still getting closer, Saki will try to destroy it with one
final attack. If it reaches Saki, it will explode and it will be game over.

Airan: Hurry up and change him back to human form.
Achi: Saki's just forgetting his human heart.
Airan: I'll believe it when I see it.
Achi: To return Saki to human form, you must enter Saki's body and recover
his humanity.
Cut to- Ruffian Saki, still not showing any signs of attack.
Achi's voice: I will open Saki's chest. You call to his heart. Tell him
everything... Thoughts, memories, hopes, dreams... As long as he wants to be
with you, he can accept his humanity.
Cut to- Airan, resentful...
Airan: Stop it! How can we do that?
Achi: First, we must put Saki to sleep...
Airan: No, we can't do it!
(The screen starts getting blurry as it slowly fades to black along
with Achi...)
Achi: Just fire at Saki's forehead.
Airan: LIAR! FALSE SAVIOR!
The background is now pitch black as Achi's voice begins to fade into
echos...
Achi: Shoot Saki.
Airan: Shut up!
Achi: (She fades out to black as her voice disappears in the echos...) Do you
want Saki to stay this way?
Airan: SHUT UP!!
Airan turns to see... A young little boy, crying. She looks around and finds
herself in a subway at top speed.
Airan: Huh?
Boy: (Cries) I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I-I'll stop crying!
Airan: Where am I...? On a train...? A subway...? Oh! I teleported! This is
Achi's work... But why? (She kneels to the little boy) Hey, you! Do you
know where we are?
Boy: We're on Long Island, aren't we?
Airan: Long Island?
Fade to- The country United States of America. We slowly ease in to the state
to get a closer look at the state, New York.
Airan's voice: New York!? America!? ACHI!! Where are you? Why did you do
this to me?
Fade to- The subway. The boy and Airan hear growling. They encountered
dog-like Ruffians.
Airan: Get back! (The boy steps back as Airan begins to fight.)
(Enter gameplay)
Airan shoots down the dog-like Ruffians attacking.
A Ruffian monster called Mole Seemer attacks.
She manages to defeat the horde. The Mole seemer escapes.

Airan: (Trying to catch her breath as the boy approached her side.) I have
never heard of Ruffians... Invading America.
Boy: Mummy, are the monsters gone?
Airan: Could you not call me mummy? Is this train out of control? I'm
going to the lead car. Follow me.
(Enter gameplay)
Airan begins to pursuit the train cars. More Ruffians come out before she and
the boy proceede to the next car.
When they are about to enter the next car, Airan slashes and shoots down some
more dog-like Ruffians.
Airan and the boy make it to the next car.
Airan then shoots down some green orb-like parasites before fighting more
Ruffians.
The Mole seemer appears again.
Airan manages to defeat it once again. It flees.
As she continues on, she attacks more green orb-like parasites.
She and the boy continue to the next car.
Airan then attacks and defeats the Jelly Seemer blocking their path.
When she defeats it, she makes her way, also slashing more green orb-like
parasites before...
She and the boy flee to the next car.
She attacks and shoots down some rock-like turtle Ruffians crawling around
her.
Afterwords, more fall from the ceiling of the train car.
While she still holds them off, she encounters the Mole seemer again.
She defeats it and fights more rock-like turtle Ruffians until they
are gone.

Airan begins losing her strength. She kneels to the ground, out of breath
as the boy approaches her.
Airan: Ruffians... Everywhere! There's no end to them!
Something turns on in front of them. The boy and Airan turn to a television
screen showing static.
We close in on the screen until it shows Ruffian Saki standing in the ocean,
watching a city.
In the lower right corner reads 2017-5-12- AM 7:00.

Airan: 2017!? 10 years in the future?
Static to the screen again, showing the statue of liberty, also showing some
amry jets heading straight for Ruffian Saki.
Airan's voice: (Gasps) Saki!
Cut to, Airan and the boy, sitting in front of the TV screen as it statics and
shuts off.
Airan: No... This-This isn't the future! Is it a warning to me? A prediction?
(She turns to the boy.) You...What's your name?
Boy: (She puts her palm on the boy's cheek.) Isa Amamiya. I can even write it
in kanji.
Airan: (Stands up) Isa, huh? I'll remember that. (Isa stands up as well.) We
don't belong in this future, Isa. Let's go!
Airan and Isa make it to the next car.
(Enter gameplay)
Airan shoots down some Ruffians hiding behind some chairs.
Before she could move on to the next car, she turns around and once again
enounters the Mole seemer. She fights it as more Ruffians try to attack.
After she defeats some Ruffians, and defeats Mole seemer again, it flees
once more.

Airan and Isa make it to the next car.
In the next car, Airan scouts ahead until she looks up to see a huge horde
of monster rocks blocking their path.

She shoots down the Ruffian monster called Birth Model.
She manages to destroy the regenerating Ruffian beast succesfully.

She and Isa make it to the last cart to see...
Airan: Saki...?
She sees Saki with several Ruffians surrounding him. And one particual bird
Ruffian on his arm.
Saki: That's right. I've taken this form for you. (The bird screeches loudly)
We're in Achi's vision. Have you chosen your future?
Isa: Papa!
Some more Ruffians appear behind them.
Airan points her gun at Saki.
Saki: Chh. Don't go having a child. (The Mole seemer appears behind him.
This is no future for children.
Airan: You're wrong. Isa will live in a different future. Somewhere there's
a future where I'm your wife... Isa is your son... and you are human.
Isa: Are you and Papa fighting?
Airan: Oh, I'm sorry.
Cut to- Saki, holding out his arm...
Airan's voice: What do you think of your mummy?
Isa's voice: Mummy's scary, but Mummy's nice. Isa loves you, Mummy.
Cut back to Isa and Airan.
Airan: And I love you, Isa. That's why I know we'll see each other again.
(She opens fire.)
Fade out to white.
Fade in from white- Airan shoots at Ruffian Saki's forehead.
She sees that she's back in reality.
Airan: (Turns away from Achi) You just... used the child.
Achi: I thought I should show you at least once.
Saki falls on his back in the sea, unconcious.
Achi's voice: We've only just finished the anaesthesia. Now then...
Fade out.
Fade in to- Airan and Achi on Ruffian Saki's unconcious body. Achi was on
top of Saki's chest.
Achi: That's enough cutting. I'll do the rest.
Airan: About Saki and Brad... Just what is your objective?
Achi: My real enemies are very far away. Powerful enemies that have been
fighting since long ago. Soon I'll end it with them, but I can't win
with your current powers. This has all been mere training... simulation
of a global war.
Airan: (Angry) You're crazy! You ruined Tokyo! Will you destroy the
world too?!
Achi: Don't worry. You'll all live in a different world. Now I need a reason
for an even bigger war. It will be Saki who uses his powers to bring that war
to an end. He'll be feared, respected, his very figure a symbol of command.
Airan: Was Brad the same?
Achi: (She grabs Airan, holding her up.) We had the same ultimate objective.
Once he knew what the blood meant, his own plans took shape. He bred Ruffians
with his blood, (She tosses Airan into Saki's chest. Airan gets consumed into
it whil Achi continues.) riding and acting in his own war. He rushed to beat
me to it.
Achi then floats up into the air. Her voice slowly begins to change into a
completely different robot-like voice.
Achi: But I'm not impatient. Saki must grow more powerful as a human. Saki!
Wake up!
Slowly, the sea rumbles as Ruffian Sakie slowly gets up, roaring. Saki
struggles to stand up straight.
Achi: (Robotic-like voice) Open yourself to Airan's heart! Take back your
own feelings!
As Saki got control of himself, he roared until he started gathering light
energy and teleports away in a white flash.
Achi: (Robotic-like voice) They teleported? Do they think they can
escape me?!
Fade out.

=======9. Chapter 3 (Part 1)=======
Fade in to- Airan's body, in a black void, turning until the sounds of the
ocean can be heard. The background fades into a beach...
Airan: (Groans...)
Cut to- A shot of the ocean waves lapping across the sand...
Cut to- Ruffian monsters coming to attack through the sand.
Airan's voice: R-Ruffians...?
Cut to- A pair of legs, walking toward her.
Cut to- Airan, trying to reach her gun.
Airan: I-I've got to fight them...
She tries to reach her gun until... someone picks it up.
That person was Saki.
Airan: SAKI!!
Saki was half-Ruffian, but otherwise back to normal.
Saki: (Pointing his gun ahead) Good morning, Airan. (Airan gets up) Look out!
Get back!
(Enter gameplay)
Airan runs to saftey as Saki starts shooting down incoming Ruffians.
Then, from the sands comes the Octopus Seemer.
Saki manages to kill it.
Airan: (Running from some Ruffians chasing her.) Aah! Saki!!
Saki follows Airan, scouting ahead as he shoots down more Ruffians.
The two run up a fleet of stairs ahead.
Airan: (Points ahead) Saki! There's a building here!
Saki runs ahead as he continues to fight off dog-like Ruffians. He manages to
stop at the building unti he shoots down spider-like Ruffians.
A monster Ruffian, Spider Seemer crawls in.
Saki manages to deal with it until the spider falls off the wall of the
buidling, makes an explosion in the wall, and crawls inside.
Saki chases down the monster, crawling on top of the ceiling, and corners it,
fighting it off while defeating several little spiders.
Saki manages to destroy it, but it wasn't done yet.
The Seemer explodes. The Core of the Spider Seemer bounces off.
Saki manages to confront the core named Birth Model, cornering it.
Saki sucessfully destroys it.

=======10. Chapter 3 (Part 2)=======
Fade in to- Saki and Airan, near a small patch of fire. Airan was eating a
corpse of a spider Ruffian while Saki uses her gun to flambe another spider
Ruffian corpse.
Saki: Yeah... All of a sudden, things were all messed up.
Airan: (Munching) What are we gonna do? This is Hokkadio; Ruffian Central...
Saki: At least we won't go hungry. First let's find a safer spot.
Airan: (Gets up) Right. Sun's about to set so we'll keep watch here tonight.
(Walks a few steps near the backway.)
Saki: I wonder if Achi will follow us?
Airan: You're instinct brought you here. I think she knows that.
Saki: (Gets up and looks at himself) Yeah. There's a lot I wanna ask Achi
about this transformation.
Airan: But... Achi would... ... Let's go to America, Saki, and have a doctor
take care of it.
Saki: IF a doctor can take care of it. Heh, if they disect me it's over.
(There was some loud roaring outside that got the two's attention) They're
close by... They must be on the road. I'll check it out. Wait here.
(He leaves)
As Airan feels more safer... Achi appears and runs straight towards Airan.
Airan: You're tough Saki... (Turns around) !!!!!
Cut to black.
Fade in from black.
Saki walks back in to find Airan was gone.
Saki: Airan? Airan!? (He runs through the backway to find the back entrance
door open.) AIRAN!?
Fade out.
Fade in- Saki clicks his gun as he prepares to fight his way through the
Ruffians to rescue Airan.
(Enter gameplay)
Saki runs through, shooting down Ruffians until a huge Ruffian monster begins
to chase down Saki.
(If this monster catches up to you, it will breath fire on you. If it catches
up to you, slash it's face to prevent it from inflicting damage.)
After running from it, the monster will turn a direction, and walk ahead.
Saki continues fighting until Saki encounters the Larva Seemer.
(You are unable to inflic damage to it, so do your best to dodge it and stay
alive whie you continue on.)
Saki managed to outrun the Seemer and continue his hot pursuit.
saki then encounters a Ruffian monster known as Man Seemer.
(In this part, if you don't defeat the monster, at the some point it will fly
away from you, and you'll still continue on.)
He defeats/outruns the Man Seemer and continues fighting through more enemies
until...
He runs through to find more enemies, but... they start kneeling to the ground
as Saki continues on. He runs up a few staircases to find Achi, waiting for
him, while the same big Ruffian monster he encountered before stood near Achi.
(End gameplay)
Saki confronts Achi. Airan was unconcious, laying on the ground behind Achi.
Achi: So, you finally come.
Saki: What have you done to Airan?
Achi: I've put her to sleep is all.
Saki: Why are you doing this?
Achi: I was testing your feelings. Look at yourself. Half of you is refusing
Airan. That's why you look that way.
Saki: I'm not refusing her. (He approaches Achi.) Obviously our hearts are
growing closer. But in our hearts there is still fear... There is still
doubt... There is still places and feelings that can't be opened yet. We need
more time to fully accept one another. (He stops in front of her.) We fought
alongside you believing you would save humanity. (Points his gun at her.) But
you're using us as weapons with a different goal in mind.
Achi: Uh-huh. You're still in training. (Holds her hand in front of Saki's
gun.) You'll always be on the frontline. (Saki shoots his gun, but Achi's
powers protect her.) That's useless.
Saki grunts angrilly, and tosses the gun aside. It twirls on the floor.
Achi: (A smug grin on her face) That's better.
Saki: (Green energy starts forming in Saki's fist) Is this what works
on you?
Saki then punches Achi, making her fall off the platform.
Saki approaches Airan until a loud rumbling occurs.
A huge white orb shines brightly as Achi shoots out of it into the sky,
glowing bright.
Saki: (Trying to wake Airan up as the background fades to white.) Airan!
Airan!
Airan: (She slowly comes to.) Saki?
Saki: Will you hold onto my heart?
Airan leans her forehead onto Saki's chest as they both shrink to black,
then white.

Saki transforms into his Ruffian form, roaring loudly as debries falls up
into the air.
Fade out to white.
Fade in from white- Achi comes out from the earth's atmosphere in a glowing
white orb.

Fade in from white- Achi floats above the earth orbit. While she talks, she
turns around, the screen fades out to white then in to reveal what looks
like a replica of earth forming.
Achi's voice: (Robot-like) The old Earth will die soon. Killed by the very
people it fed. When I take it's place I will not make the same mistake. What
I need is a God of War to rule the chaos for me. That's you, Saki.
You must grow powerful for me. Poweful enough to rule a planet.
Fade to- Airan, inside Saki...
Airan: (Telepathy) She's just replacing the Earth?
Saki's voice: Invade...?
We ease out fast from Airan.
Airan's voice: Will she lead all humanity away?
We turn to see a bright light.
Saki's voice: What's best for me is all that matters.
We see a glowing object until we see Ruffian Saki, big enough to be noticable
on the planet, ready to fight.
Airan's voice: Saki...
Saki's voice: I understand. I'm of "this" planet.
(Enter gameplay)
Saki shoots down the rocks and debries heading toward Earth, making them
missiles to destroy the Earth Mimicry.
After the Earth Mimicry recieves alot of damage... it starts turning orange
and red.
(If you or the Earth lose all life points, it's game over. When you destroy
the Earth duplicate, you'll get bonus points depending on how much life
points are left on the Earth.)
The mimicry explodes...
Saki manages to save the Earth from oblivion, and Achi's destruction.

Ruffian Saki watches a white distance in a blue and black void...
Achi's voice: (Robot-like voice, echoing...) The old Earth will die soon.

her head in sorrow.) What are we gonna do now?
Saki: ... When I was little, I always wanted to be a cop. Do you think
they'd hire me now?
Airan: ... (She jumps to Saki, joyfully. She pats him on the shoulder.) Yeah
they would! You could kill all the Ruffians yourself!
Saki: Heh. Not by myself I couldn't. I need you to protect me.
They both turn to see the sun rising.
Airan: Wanna take them on? Together?
Saki: Let's do it! At least that way we can have some fun!
We look up to the cloudly sky.

thought about how to use your true power?
Saki: Achi showed me a possible future ten years from now. You were fighting
alongside Ruffians... against humans... Since you and the Ruffians share blood
that future might be a possibility... (The screen of Airan slides away as we
see only Ruffian Saki now.) It's impossible if we are together. I'm always
having dreams of battling Ruffians. As long as they keep terrorizing
mankind... I can only see them as enemies. What you saw was probably just
part of Achi's training. We're both human... and if we work together...
and move foward carefully, I think we can choose the right path.
Cut to-Airan, floating inside Saki still.
Airan: You're really thinking ahead... I guess you are carefree. That's why
it's so comfortable in here. Bright and warm... (A small tiny light floats
to Airan.)
Saki's voice: Is that because I'm concealing the pain? I can't feel your pain
either, Airan. Achi said for me to be human again we must share our true
feelings and thoughts. Not yet. I want things to be like this for a while.
Airan... On top of everything else we have have a greater mission to
carry out.
Airan: (The screen slowly fades out to white...) What? Mission...?
Saki's voice: Let's see... In ten years he should be about five or so, right?

The screen fades to a slight reddish-white.
Saki's voice: Ch- il- d.

They will always be my enemy while they continue to terrorize mankind. A dream
is just a dream, perhaps it was all just part of Achi's training... In any
case, you and I, we're both human. If we put our heads together, we can fight
this battle the right way.

Airan: Saki, always the optimist... and so carefree too. It's the reason I can

=====15. Behind the scenes/My sayings on the game=====
By the time I discovered Sin and Punishment, I wanted to understand
what most of the characters in the game were saying. Despite the fact that
they all speak English, I couldn't understand what they said most of the time.
So... what do I do? I go online to see if I can find a transcript of what
they say. I was able to find a few transcripts online for certain games in
the past such as The World Ends with You, Kingdom Hearts, and even
Conker's Bad Fur Day =P. But for some odd reason, I couldn't find a
transcript of Sin and Punishment ANYWHERE. Not on Google, Bing, or Yahoo.
I dunno WHY no one even BOTHERED to try and write one. I just couldn't take
it, so I figured, why not make one of my own? So that's where this comes.
I looked over and over on several videos of the gameplay on Youtube,
listening carefully to their words. I even resorted to try out the English
Translation made by Vanit. When I downloaded the tools needed for the rom
and such, there was a folder that contained most of the English lines and
translations and such! How convinent! =) Unfortunatly, there was a catch.
The names of the lines in PNG files were named with lots of mumbo jumbo
that they were all out of order. So I had to go through several YouTube
videos as well as find the right lines and words that fit in with the
event. I then found a way to organize the lines by date that they were
modified. The training/demo tutorial sessions were too difficult. Those
were the only thing I left out on sad to say. But if any of you can give
me a hand on organizing Vanit's translation of the Japan rom, that would
be nice. It was a lot of hard work, but I suppose it was worth it,
juggling this while working on My Little Pony Friendship is Magic fan
fics and focusing on my final year in high school. =P
Now here are my sayings/opinions on the games.
All and all, the game looks so realistic for it's time. The
characters' models and skin look trashy, but not in a negative way at all
if that's what your thinking. I don't know why, but when I play this game,
it just reminds me of Square Enix for some odd reason. The controls were
hard for me when I first played it, but I gotten used to it when I kept
playing it more and more often. My favorite part in the game would have to
be where Airan was fighting against Brad in the warship. For some reason
the Warship fleet asault scene reminds me of all the shooting games I saw
my sister play when we vist arcades and such. Maybe it's because I've seen
Time Crisis or seen her try out House of the Dead. The only things I DON'T
like is the use of intense blood (If you seen the flooding blood city
scene). That kind of gave me some weird thoughts, but other than that,
the ESRB rating system just said "Blood" or something like that. No
INTENSE or MILD ... wait, I think it SAID MILD or something I can't
remember. The music is pretty much RAD. It fits the story and the game
VERY well. I don't know if this counts but the translations from Vanit and
Nintendo are slightly different if you took your time to check them out.
What I don't like in the VC port is that the subtitles remained in
Japanese. It would be better in my opinion if they had an option where you
can use English OR Japanese subtitles. Like Sin and Punishment 2 for the
Wii. I'm quite surprised Nintendo would make a hard-core game like this.
HAH! Nintendo DOES care about you Hard Core Gamers! Anyway... What I ALSO
like about this game is that even though Nintendo allows excessive
violence in some of their games, they are STRCIT with other several
things like drugs, alcohol, and porn. I like this game because it DOES
have some pretty strong violence, but no pornography that's eye-popping.
I'm quite happy that this game doesn't promote porn at all, and if you
think I'm wrong, go ahead and think that. That's YOUR opinion. What kind
of disturbs me is that Achi doesn't know if Saki's powers will be able to
stand to God. I dunno about you guys but Itake my religion seriously, so
I guess that's another thing of this game that I don't like. Luckily,
Nintendo translaters who translated the Epilogue made it sound like there
were other gods instead of just Him. I'm not saying that there ARE other
gods at all. I guess... well... I guess Nintendo did a decent job trying
to make sure that players don't think God is evil. But I don't think this
was Nintendo of Japan's purpose in mind. Maybe they had something better?
Then again, references to God were removed in the USA version of Sin and
Punishment 2. But I guess that's normal since religious references are
mostly removed in almost all the games we see such as EarthBound, Um
Jammer Lammy, and others mostly due to controversies and such.
To wrap this up, this game is in my opinion a very good short game that
can be easy to play, and fun to play over and over again. I strongly
recommend you to either do the following:
1) Buy the original cartridge and find a way to play it on a normal N64.
2) Download the game from the Nintendo Wii Shop Channel.
3) Download the rom and try out the Vanit Studios patch. Anyway you try,
you'll get the same crave for action that this game has to offer.
