• 1x Passport Plus III
• 1x Memory Card

B A C K I N G - U P

1. Insert the Game Pak you want to Backup into the top of your
Passport Plus III, insert a Game Pak of the same type as your N64
system into the Boot Cartridge slot at the back of your Passport
Plus III, then insert the Passport Plus III into your N64.
Also insert your Controller Pak into a connected Controller.
2. Turn on your Nintendo 64.
3. Select "Memory Card Manager"
4. Select "Game Pak" on the Left Panel and the Controller your
Controller Pak is inserted into on the Right Panel.
5. Select the Game Pak file, which will be the games serial repeated
twice. For example Super Mario 64's serial is NUS-NSMP-USA, the
2nd and 3rd letters in the second code are the game's serial.
SM is Super Mario 64's serial code, so it's save file is labelled
as SMSM.
6. Now select "COPY ->" and that game's EEPROM will now be saved
onto the Controller Pak.
7. Now insert you Controller Pak into your N64 Dex Drive and open
up DexPlorer
8. Select "Backup".
9. Select where it is to be saved, type the filename and then click
"Start".
R E S T O R I N G

1. Insert your Controller Pak into the DexDrive and open up
DexPlorer.
2. Click "Restore", select the file the EEPROM Save is on and then
select "Start".
3. Insert the Controller Pak with the EEPROM save into a connected
Controller. Insert the corresponding Game Pak to the EEPROM Save
into the top of the Passport Plus III, insert a Game Pak of the
same type as your N64 system into the Boot Cartridge slot at the
back of the Passport Plus III, then insert the Passport Plus III
into your N64.
4. Turn on your Nintendo 64.
5. Select "Memory Card Manager"
4. Select "Game Pak" on the Left Panel and the Controller your
Controller Pak is inserted into on the Right Panel.
5. Select the save in the Right Panel, which will be the
corresponding game's serial repeated twice, for example Super

6. Now select "<- COPY " and then it will ask you "OVERWRITE?",
select YES that game's EEPROM will now be restored.
