 200: Introduction       \
===============================================================================

Rain is available only in Genesis, SNES and Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Below are
his moves and finishers that can be used across all compatible versions.

Controls

Here are all default commands and there explanations:

Command            Short-Cut

Low Punch             LP
High Punch            HP

Low Kick              LK
High Kick             HK

Block                 BLK
Run                    R

Up                     U
Down                   D
Left                   L
Right                  R

+ Press two buttons at once.

 400: Rain               \
===============================================================================

Born of Kitana's former world of Edenia, Rain was smuggled away from the
realm as a small child shortly after Shao Kahn's take over. Thousands of
years later he resurfaced. His allegiance belonging to Kahn, he chose to
betray his homeland rather than suffer at the hands of Kahn's extermination
Squads.

Orb                   D, F, HP

Lightning             B, B, B, HP

Round Kick            B + HK


Here are the explanations and strategies on each move:

Orb                   D, F, HP

The orb, if successful hit your opponent gains you a limited control. You can
pull him toward you or push him back for a very short time. The best thing to
do is to pull him on top and finish him off with an uppercut or a round kick.


Lightning             B, B, B, HP

Lightning send your opponent into the air. Again, finish him off with an
uppercut or a round kick. Use when your opponent is far away or doing his
special.


Round Kick            B + HK

Best used after the above moves. You can kick your opponent across the screen
up to three times.

4 Hit Combo HP, HP, LP, HP

5 Hit Combo HK, HK, LK, HK, BLK +HK


Strategie on using combos:

Use it when running toward your opponent or right after he lands near you.

Remember, you can always stop the combo and hit throw should your opponent
starts blocking.

'-- 430: Fatalities ----------------------------------------------------------'

Fatalities are the hart of Mortal Kombat. After defeating your opponent for
two rounds, you will have a chance to finish off your opponent. She/he will
stay dizzied for a short while; this is the time to carefully preform the
finishing move.

In order for your move to work, you will have to be in a certain position as
per each finishing move. Explanations below:


Close        Stand close to your opponent, don't leave any space in between.

Sweep        About 4-6 steps away from your opponent.

Far          Stand far away from your opponent.

Half Screen  Stand Half Screen away.

Mercy        To perform it you will need lose one round. at the finish him
            scene hold R, D, D, let go of R. This will Enable your opponent
            to fight again with one hit left on his/her health.


Fatality:    F, F, D, HP              (Sweep)

Fatality 2:  D, D, B, F, HK           (Half Screen)

Animality:   BLK, BLK, R, R, BLK      (Sweep)

Friendship:  D, F, F, F, LP

Babality:    F, B, B, HP

Stage Fatality: F, D, F, LK           (Close)

Brutality:   HP, HP, BLK, LK, HK, BLK, LK, HK, BLK, HP, LP

*To perform Friendships and babalitys you should not block during
the wining round.


Ending

Rain fights valiantly for the Emperor Shao Kahn. But it would be Kahn's own
step daughter, the Princess Kitana who turns Rain against him. Like Kitana,
Rain's origins also come from their former realm of Edenia.

He learns that his father was once a general in Edenia's army and died at the
hands of Shao Kahn himself. Enraged at the truth about his history, he joins
Kitana in aligning with the Earth Realm Warriors.

But his allegiance comes under question when he mysteriosly disappears during
an extermination squad attack. To prove his loyalty he embarked on a suicide
mission to destroy Shao Kahn and end the menace once and for all.
