I: INTRODUCTION

This is my second FAQ, it's for a great Jurassic Park game: The Lost
World. I just recently bought it, it's not easy to get it in Europe.


II: THE STORY

       This Lost World game is not based upon the movie. You are a hunter,
and your mission is capture dinosaurs. You will battle Dilophosaurs,
Raptors and a T-Rex, but beware, as you are not the only hunter. . .


III: START/OPTIONS

START:
START the game to begin game-play.

OPTIONS:
When you enter the OPTIONS screen, you see the following options:
One Player/Two Players: Here you can choose to play alone, or with another
player.
Control 1/Control 2: Here you can determine which vehicle control will be
used in the game.
Cooperative/Competitive: Team up or fight each other off.
Music on/Music off: Here you can turn the music on or off.
Buttons: Here you can change the button settings.

PASSWORD:
Here you can enter a password given to you at the end of each level.


IV: CONTROLS

       ONE PLAYER:

       Start button:
-Press to Pause the game and see the Communicator Main Menu Screen.

       Directional (D) button:
-Press to move your hunter in any direction.
-Press to move Jeep or Hovercraft in any direction.
-Press to turn the motorcycle left or right (Bike Race – Boss Level).
-Press to move the Jeep and seat left or right (T-Rex Esacpe – Boss Level).
-Press to move the raft in any direction (River Raft Battle – Boss Level).
-Press to aim the gun on the raft (River Raft Battle – Boss Level).
-Press to move the helicopter in any direction (Pteranodon Attack – Boss
Level).

       A button:
-Press to change weapon.
-Press to move the Jeep into the background (T-Rex Escape - Boss Level).

       B button:
-Press to fire weapon (also in the Boss Levels).
-Press to hold the raft in position (River Raft Battle – Boss Level).
-Press to fire a missile (Pteranodon Attack – Boss Level).

       C button:
-Press get into a car or hovercraft.
-Press to jump with the Jeep (T-Rex Escape – Boss Level).
-Press to jump with the raft (River Raft Battle – Boss Level).

       TWO PLAYERS:
It's no use to list al the controls again. When you select two player, a
couple of things change.

       Jeep/Hovercraft: The player that gets in the Jeep or Hovercraft
first, will be able to control it. The second player controls the weapons.

       Boss Levels: In the Bike Race Boss Level the second player controls
the gun, as well as in the T-Rex Boss Level. In the River Raft Battle Boss
Level, the second player controls the raft, and in the Pteranodon Attack
the second player will be able to control the helicopter.


V: GAMEPLAY

       MAIN GAME SCREEN:

       Health Meter: Located in the lower left of the screen, shows your
current health status.
       Current Weapon/Ammo: Located above the Health Meter. Shows selected
weapon and it's ammo.
       Alternate Health Meter: Located in the upper right hand corner. The
red bar shows the health of your enemy. The blue bar shows how much health
is left before the enemy in tranquilized.
       Lives: Located in the upper left hand corner. Show remaining lives.

         WEAPONS:

Taser: Use this to quickly stun a dinosaur, but only use this when
you are close to your target. It has unlimited ammo.
       Tranquilizer Gun: Use this to stun dinosaurs. It has unlimited ammo.
       Gas Bomb: Use this when you are ambushed by hunters or dinosaurs. You
can carry 20 Gas Bombs at a time.

       Shotgun: Your default weapon with unlimited ammo.
       Grenades: Use against enemies or obstacles such as rocks, mines or
power generators.
       Missile: Perfect for enemies at a distance. Like the grenades, it can
also be used for obstacles.
       Machine Gun: Perfect for enemies, especially Raptors.

HUNTER ENEMIES:

       Hunter: They're here for the same reason you are. They also hide
behind sandbags to ambush you.
       Bunker: Quite powerfull, destroy it with grenades or missiles.

DINOSAURS:

       Troodon       – Carnivore
       Dilophosaurus – Carnivore
       Velociraptor  – Carnivore
       Stegosaurus   – Hervibore
       Triceratops   - Hervibore
       T-Rex         - Carnivore


VI: LEVELS

-Mobile Lab             (Find the Mobile Lab.)

-Isla Sorna Site 1:
       -Cave Rescue (Rescue the ally hunter.)
       -Activate Sensors (Locate and activate all 10 sensors.)
       -Stegos Abduction (Capture three Stegosaurs.)
       -Bike Race – Boss Level (Traquilize the Raptor.)

-Isla Sorna Site 2:
       -Raptor Nest Hunt(Destroy all Raptor nests.)
       -Defend Transport (Defend the Transport Truck.)
       -Trike Rescue (Tranquilize two Triceratops and protect them.)
       -T-Rex Escape - Boss Level (Escape the T-Rex.)

-Isla Sorna Site 3:
       -T-Rex Chase (Escape the T-Rex.)
       -Hunter Camp Sabotage (Sabotage the camps of the enemy hunters.)
       -Cave Maze (Find your way out.)
       -River Raft Battle – Boss Level (Go down the river.)

Isla Sorna Site 4:
       -Egg Hunt (Collect four T-Rex eggs.)
       -Rough Road (Drive the Unimog Truck back to the Mobile Lab.)
       -Amber Mine (Collect twenty Amber samples.)
       -Pteranodon Attack – Boss Level (Protect the cage.)

       -Jungle Firestorm (Escape the firestorm.)
       -the Final Countdown (Escape the island in time.)


VII: CHEATS

Level Select: Enter MAGICBOX as a password. Now go to the options
screen where you will find
the level select.

Red Hunter: Enter REDHUNTR as a password to play as another hunter.

Combat Mode: Enter the password CIVILWAR. Combat mode is a two-player
game featuring both players on the same screen and respawning items.
