Intro
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 Okay, this is my first walkthrough,  so I'll start by sharing a short
version of the story, but no spoilers yet. I must warn you that this walk-
through contains the whole story from beginning to end, except for a few parts
I may have decided not to put. This means SPOILERS!!!  Okay, this story begins
with Nigel, our hero, in the Jypta Ruins, showing you things he can do as he
hunts for the Statue of Jypta.  Once he finds it, you are taken to Kalva
Harbor, where the man who paid for the statue comes and gives you the money
for it.  Once he hands over the money, a wood nymph flies into your backpack.
This is Friday, and she is being chased by Kayla, Ink, and Wally.  They want
her to tell them where King Nole's treasure is, but Friday won't.  They start
coming after the two, so Nigel runs and hides. Then they talk about where the
treasure is and you are soon off to Mercator, on a big bird. This begins the
adventure.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Characters
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nigel:  A Wood Elf, and the hero of this adventure.  He is a treasure hunter
who has a sixth sense for danger.  But will this save him from all of the
perils waiting for him on Mercator?
Friday:  A wood nymph with a short temper who says she's seen the legendary
treasure of King Nole.  She convinces Nigel to go to Mercator to claim it. But
will they be able to find it before others do?
Kayla, Wally, and Ink:  This bumbling trio were the three chasing Friday for
the location of King Nole's treasure.  They follow you around and trick you
sometimes, trying to get closer to King Nole's treasure and keep you away from
it. Will these three get the treasure before our hero can?
Duke Mercator: The ruler of the small island of Mercator.  He is loved and
respected by all, but he seems to be acting strange.  What is his problem and
who or what is causing it?
Princess Lara de Wissica:  Lara is the princess of Maple, Nigel's homeland.
It is said that she came to Mercator to study music.  But is that her true
intention?
Pockets:  A thief that also seems to follow you around.  His purpose for life
is to become rich.  What role will he play in this story?
Mir the Magician:  An old magician that lives near Mercator in a tower.
Everyone fears him and the Duke asks you to get rid of him.  Why is he doing
this?
King Nole:  King who used to rule the mainland and terrorize everyone.  Soon,
the people became angry with him and took over his castle.  But he had
disappeared and so had the treasures he stole from all of them.  Where did he
go and where are his treasures?
Walkthrough
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A. Cave to King Nole's Treasure?
 Okay, there is a statue of the Goddess beside you and a cave.  The statue
can heal you if you need it.  Enter the cave and go to the next doorway.
Through here, there is another doorway and a chest containing Lifestock (Don't
miss it).  Through this doorway is another doorway and two chests containing 5
Golds a piece.  Through here are two doorways. Go through the one on the right
of the screen first and get the 5 Golds in there, then go through the other
one.  In the next room, you carry the box and put it beside the cliff, so you
can climb up.  Get the chest containing Lifestock and move on.  The next 2
rooms are empty, so nothing to worry about.  In the next room is a boulder
that will chase you (I think someone was watching "The Temple of Doom" when
they wrote this) and knock you onto a raft.  The raft takes you down a long
river, then you fall over a waterfall and Fara, a citizen from Massan, finds
you.  She goes and gets some people to carry you back to her village.
B. Massan
 They bring you back and let you rest in a bed.  But, Friday is in a hurry,
so she wakes you up herself.  These guys are cute, I don't care what anyone
says.  You may notice a cavern with discolored trees in front of it.  You
can't do anything with that yet.  They have a store, inn, and church here in
Massan, so stock up on EkeEkes and save at the church.  And if you want to
spend a bunch of time, get up the money to buy the Lifestock.  At the inn, you
meet a thief named Pockets.  He'll show up again later.  Also, there is a
secret Lifestock here.  All you have to do is jump onto the guard's head
walking near the statue (from the dog or chicken), then, jump on the statue
and a chest will appear, containing the Lifestock. There are also chests
containing two EkeEkes and a Lifestock in houses, so don't miss those.
 After you talk with everyone, you will know to go see the Waterfall Sage and
watch out for people from the neighboring village, Gumi. So you are off to go
and see the Waterfall Sage.
 1. The Path to the Waterfall Shrine
 Once you step out of the village, a Massan man comes running up saying the
bridge was destroyed by the men from Gumi. You can go back and talk with the
mayor and hear there is a raid being planned for Gumi.  So you leave again and
there is a big tree near the village. You can't do anything here yet.  So you
continue and see a sign, the smashed bridge, and an angry Massan man next to
it. The sign says go up the hill to get to the Waterfall Shrine. Up the hill
is a cave with a rope inside, but you can't do anything here yet either.  In
the next screen is the cave that is the Waterfall Shrine.
 2. The Waterfall Shrine
 You enter and see a bunch of lined up golems(strange).  You go into the next
room and there are 2 bubbles waiting for you. Kill them, then go up the stairs
to get a key. You'll need this later.  Now return to the bubble room and go
through the door.  Here, you have to jump onto a floating board to get to the
other side.  Kill the bubbles here and go use the key on the locked door.  Go
through and kill the bubbles. Then, go down the path to the right of the
screen to get 5 Golds and down the left to hit a switch.  This clears a path
for you later on down the line.  Now go back through the doorway and hit the
switch on the stairs and it will open up a new path. Go down here and kill the
bubbles, then advance.  Go through this room, kill the bubbles, and go up the
stairs.  Watch out, because there are three Orcs right as you come out.  Kill
them and the gate for the other path will open up.  Here is where you meet the
Waterfall Sage.  He tells you of a document he found about King Nole, and then
starts to research more about it.  After he's finished talking, grab the
treasure chest containing Lifestock and leave.  On the way out, there will be
a path to a chest containing Lifestock in the room with the golems.  That's
all that's here, so now to return to Massan.
C. Back to Massan and to Gumi
 On the way back to Massan, you see they have fixed the bridge and are
planning for the raid.  Once you arrive at Massan, you discover that Fara has
been kidnapped by Gumi thugs.  So you should rest, save, and buy EkeEkes, then
you should go to Gumi. As you go along to Gumi, you will encounter many
enemies, so just kill them and move on.  Once you reach the signpost, go over
to the little cliff (behind it) and jump up the little stairway to get the
Lifestock, then continue.  Once you arrive at Gumi, you see that they won't
let you in, but you then should climb up the little hill on the side and watch
their ceremony.  Once it ends and you see them leave, enter the village.
You'll run into Pockets and he'll run off. You can follow him, but there isn't
any use for it now.  You talk to Hahna in the bushes and you discover everyone
has gone to the Swamp Shrine.  There is a Lifestock available for sale at the
shop and one in a treasure chest in a house in the top left corner (On top of
the bunk beds).  Also, before you leave go to the Mayor's house and get the
Idol Statue.  Now, to the Swamp Shrine.
D. The Swamp Shrine
 Okay, on the way to the Swamp Shrine, you'll pass over a bridge.  DON'T step
in the stuff around it.  It'll hurt you.  You come upon a door that won't open
unless you have something special.  This is the Idol Stone. Use it and the
door will open, allowing you passage.
 When you first enter, they'll be a room full of boulders going around on a
track and 5 doors.  You should go to the door on the bottom left first.  Go
through and kill the enemies to get past the little blocks blocking your path.
Then, go into the next room and kill the three Orcs.  Once they are dead, you
should go through the top left door first and follow its path to a key, then
return to the Orc room.  Next, go through the top door, kill the Orc at the
beginning to get an EkeEke, and follow its path to a room full of Orcs and
another key, then return to the Orc room.  Then, go through the last door and
you'll be back at the beginning.  Go through the door at the top to get an
EkeEke.
 Now, go to the door on the right side of the entrance.  Here, you have to
kill some enemies to make a block drop down.  Once this happens, you have to
jump over to another object (This was a little annoying).  You use a key on
the door here and there's a chest with an EkeEke in it.  You can avoid the
enemies in the next two areas, unless you want to fight them.  After them, you
come into a room with another locked door and an open door.  Go through the
locked door first.  In here, you fight monsters, then push a button to
complete a path through the open doorway.  Past the open doorway, you have to
put a box on the bottom-right and top-left button to get the boulder and
blocks out of your way.  After this, you come into a room covered with spikes
and you have to jump from platform to platform to move along.  Then, you come
into a 2 rooms with mushrooms that you have to kill to open the next door.
The next room you have to put boxes on buttons to clear a path.  All you have
to do is put a box on the top button then use the other box to climb up and
move along.  You return to the spiked floor room and get a key to use on the
door in that room.
 Past the locked door is a room that makes you push many buttons and avoid a
big boulder to move on.  Jump down the little hatchway at the end of this room
to get a Lifestock, then return and go through the door way.  Here, there is a
stairway and a door that you have to get an enemy jump on the button to open
the door so you can pass into the next room to get a key.  Now, you should go
up the stairs and use the key.
 Get ready for a fight in here.  Once you disrupt the Gumi ceremony, two Orc
Kings come down and battle you.  Once they are defeated, you can free Fara and
get a Lifestock.  Then you can leave and return to Massan.
 1. Peace.....finally
 After you get out of the Swamp Shrine, return to Massan and everyone will
thank you.  Go to the Mayor's house and get the Red Jewel.  Stock up and save,
then go see the Waterfall Sage, if you want to.  He doesn't have any special
information, so you can just go to Gumi.  In Gumi, go to the Mayor's house and
get the Lifestock, then go save. You have a long road ahead of you.  If you
followed Pockets before, you saw there was a landslide.  Well, the Gumi's are
fixing the road so you can pass. Now it's off to Mercator.
E. To Mercator and Ryuma?
 Along the way, you fight more enemies.  On the straight road there, you see
a break off and you should go to it.  You have to climb a hill here.  It's
pretty easy once you get the hang of it, and you get a Lifestock from the
chest.  You also get the Magic Sword from a retired guard on top of the hill.
Also along the way, you'll see a tree in pain, but can't do anything yet.
Another break away from the road is to the witch's house, but you don't need
to go there yet.  So just continue till you get to Mercator.  But once you
arrive, two guards block your path and ask for a safe-conduct pass.  So you
have to go to Ryuma instead.  Once you arrive in Ryuma, you discover thieves
have infested it.  Thieves that may be looking for the same treasure as you!!
So, stock up on EkeEkes and get the Lifestock at the house on the hill where
they're having a meeting.  Then, go in the little crack beside that house and
talk to the kid there.  He'll run off and tell everyone that the Mayor was
killed by the thieves.  Everyone then asks you to help beat the thieves, so
you go talk with the men having a meeting and say you'll do them a favor.
Then you should save and go to the promontory.
 1. Thieves' Hideout
 Okay, there's not much here.  You just follow the path that is before you
and read any signs.  So, I'll start right after you get to the goddess statue.
When you get there, you push it back to raise a dam to block the water.  Now
you backtrack to the very beginning and go into the cave that wasn't there
before.  In here, you'll face a Knight.  He's pretty easy if you jump and
slash.  Then, in the next room is Pockets, searching for more treasure.  There
is also a Lifestock and a key.  Now you have to go forward again until you see
a cave that used to be covered with water.  Use the key in here, then
continue.  In the next area, you encounter 3 new doors and a platform rising
from the floor.  Go through the bottom left first.  You have to be very quick
in this room to cross the spiked balls.  In the room after that, you have to
have super-speed.  You have to hit a button then run up the stairs and get
through the door before it closes again (Tip: I usually just jump on the big
spiked ball in front of the door and then jump over the door to get to the
next area. It's much easier, though it hurts you a little).  In the next room
is a Statue of Gaia and an EkeEke.  Now go back to the room with the platform
and go through the door at the top right.
 This next room is pretty simple, just jump from block to block till you get
to the end.  This room is harder.  You have to jump onto two platforms, then
jump onto blocks that fall after a few seconds.  It is possible.  You also get
a Lifestock in this room.  In the next room, there are two doors.  In the left
room is a little puzzle.  You have to get on a blue ball and ride it until it
gets to the little opening on the left side.  You have to jump through here,
and on the other side is a Lifestock.  The right contains a Knight and once
you beat it, the floor will collapse.  Down the hole is an EkeEke and a key.
Through the door from there is the place where you would fall down from the
two top areas.  Now go up and go through the door to the left.  Watch out for
the boulders in here and move on.  After you use the key, go into the next
room and kill the gray golem to move on.  In the next room are chests
containing 20 Gold and a Golden Statue.  Also a vine.   Go up the vine and
you'll meet up with the Boss, which you'll have to kill.  Once you beat him,
the door opens and you can enter.  When you do, the Mayor and two other men
thank you and run away.  All that's left here is to get the chests and leave.
 2. To Mercator....for real
 Once you return to Ryuma, go to the Mayor's house.  He'll give you 100 Golds
and a Safety Pass so you can enter Mercator.  After resting, stocking up, and
saving, you are now ready to go to Mercator.  But before you do, you may want
to go and clear out Tibor's pest problem.
a. Tibor's Pests (Optional)
 Okay, this is optional.  I don't know of any reason of doing it except to
make traveling easier and to help him out.  If you wish to help him read this
section.  If not, move on to the next section.
 Okay, when you first enter, go kill all of the specter's and destroy the
generator, then get on the levitating platform.  In the next room, kill the
ghosts and go up the stairs.   Next, go up the 2 stairways in and then get on
the levitating platform.  Go up, push the switch, and get the treasure chest
that contains 20 Golds.  Next return to the room where you began to climb the
2 stairways and get on the levitating platform.
 Go up the stairs in the next 2 rooms, then get the Statue of Gaia and 20
Golds from the next room.  Climb up the stairs here and continue to the next
room.  Hit the button and run to get over the big gray block in your way, then
get on the platform.  In the next room, you have to avoid spiked balls and
press a switch to make a platform begin to levitate.  In this room, just run
past or destroy the specters' and their generator (Running will result in a
little harm).  The next room contains the pest (A golden Knight).  He's pretty
easy to kill, just avoid him and slash him when he isn't guarding.  After he
has been defeated, Tibor will thank you and allow you to use his children to
travel the world.  Now you can leave and head for Mercator.
List of Tibor's twins:
Tree near Tibor-------------Tree near Massan
Tree at the end of GM-------Tree at the beginning of Greenmaze
Tree near Verla-------------Tree near Mercator
Tree near Lake Shrine-------Tree on road from Destel to lake
Tree in Mountainous Area----Tree near signpost between Mercator and Verla
F. Mercator
 There are many things to do in Mercator.  There are many shops, a
fortuneteller, a monster show, a dojo, a harbor, a casino (GreenPea's), and,
of course, a castle.  The first thing you should do is raise up 480 Golds so
you can buy the Steel Breast.  I know it's hard, but it's worth it.  It
provides much better protection than the Leather Breast.  You should also get
the Bell at the shop.  It'll come in handy many times.
 The shops are a little expensive and most of the other things are wastes of
money, though the dojo is challenging.  You should try to beat the dojo till
Fahl gives up now.  Though it's easier to do near the end (With the Gaia Sword
and Venus Stone), what he gives you is worthless then.  You have to beat him
in five rounds up past 400g.  Once you beat him after that, he gives you the
Pawn Ticket.  It is invaluable and can help you with money problems.  Read the
Item List to find out more about it.  Also, you should go to GreenPea's and
get the Lifestock there.  There is also a Lifestock in the old woman's house
to the left of the guard standing on the block (The one that wants you to help
her arrange jars).  Arrange the jars three times, then a box containing
Lifestock will be downstairs.  Now, go to the castle gate and talk to the
guards.  They won't let you in for some reason (That ends the adventure pretty
quick).  So, go to the first screen of the town and talk to the boy staring in
the window at Madam Yard's.  Also talk to the little girl in between the
buildings a few steps away from the boy.  After doing this, you must go inside
Madame Yard's and talk with the man with the eye patch on.  Then go outside
again and through the back way at the top of the screen.  Here you'll meet a
girl and see some soldiers talking.  Arthur, one of the soldiers, says that he
is going to Lady Yard's.  You should follow him.
 When you arrive, they decline you entrance, but one of the woman suggests
that you go see the fortuneteller.  You should go here and she changes you
into...... ummmm, I'll let you see for yourself.  Then you return to Madam
Yard's and can now go in.  Once you get up to a room, Friday comes along and
destroys the spell cast on you, not knowing what is really happening.  After
she find's out, she apologizes.  Once you step out of the door, Arthur drags
you into his room.  You talk for a little while, then he invites you to the
castle.
 Now you should go to the castle.  When you first enter the courtyard, head
to the top left and up until you find an upraising between two towers.  Hop up
to this upraising and a Blue Ribbon will fall.  Once you accomplish this, pass
the courtyard and enter the castle.  You are whisked away to have audience
with Duke Mercator immediately (I love the music here).  You are here to
receive an assignment, but that waits till the party.  After Duke Mercator
invites you to the party, you can talk with the other two bounty hunters
(Dexter and Zak).  After this, you are taken to your room and are told to wait
there till the party begins.  You can explore the castle, but all that's
interesting is that there is a Lifestock in the kitchen.  To get the party
started, go talk to Arthur in the Training room.  At the party, the Duke asks
you and the other two to go and get rid of an evil wizard called Mir.  After
the party is over, go see Arthur and he will tell you that the only way to
break the barrier around Mir's tower is by an armlet in the crypt.  So, go to
sleep and tomorrow, it's off to the crypt.
 1. The Crypt
 Okay, since this section is relatively short and there aren't any traps to
avoid or treasures to get (Mostly), I'll just divide into the different puzzle
sections.
#1 BETSY ROSS:  Kill the bubbles in this order: White, red, and yellow.
#2 RUBY SILENT:  Just wait around for a while and don't kill any of the
monsters.
#3 JACK SKYWALKER:  Hop up invisible stairway on the right wall, then turn
screen left and walk until you hear the sound.
#4 MARIA HYSTERICA:  Kill the monster with the boulder.
#5 JIM BRIGHT:  Bring the switch over to either torch beside the grave and
step on it.
#6 LARSON E.:  (Another waiting one, goody!)  Wait for a while after the
chests drop down and it will make the sound.
#7 DIRK THE DARK:  Kill the dark skeleton.
#8 WHODINI:  Pick up the box and bring it close to the grave.  Then, jump up
and walk into the wall between the two torches.
That'll bring you to the other side, but there are still two more puzzles to
figure out.
#9 DEAD AND END:  (It's so funny what happens in here before you can solve the
puzzle) Navigate the fireball so that it hits the door.
#10 ASIDE THE SHADOW:  Attack to the Mummy's right until you hit and kill the
invisible enemy.
After you solve this one, you get the Armlet.  Before you get back on the
raft, make sure you get the Lifestock up in the corner.  Now it's time to
stock up, save, and head to Mir's Tower.  But, before you head there, go talk
to the guy whose shop was closed before.  He'll ask you what he should change
his job to: drugstore or variety shop.  Either one is helpful, but I like the
variety shop because it brings you exotic items.  He'll give you a Buyer Card
so you can go get items for his shop at the Harbor.  Go and get the items and
when you return to his shop, it's already open and you can buy things there.
Also, go give the guy in front of GreenPea's the 100 Golds and he'll double
your money.  Now it's off to Mir's Tower.
 2. Mir's Tower
 Okay, to start off, this place is extremely annoying.  It has so many traps
and puzzles that can confuse you that I think it's one of the hardest places
in the game.  In the area with the Orc Kings on the way to Mir's Tower there
is a treasure chest on a cliff, but you can't reach it.  You have to go behind
the hill with the stairs and hit a switch.  Then a block will begin to
levitate behind the cliff and you can get the treasure chest.  Also along the
way you'll see a treasure chest on a cliff with a rope and a discolored tree
in front of it.  You can't do anything here yet so just pass it.  Once you
arrive at the tower entrance, you use the Armlet and break the seal.
 In this place, whenever you are asked a question, just say yes to them.
After you say yes to the last question in the first room, you'll go down a
floor.  Down here, kill the mushrooms first and then jump to the other side.
After getting the EkeEke, go through the next two doors and answer yes to the
question in the second room to receive a Statue of Gaia, then return to the
room before that and go up the stairs.  Go through the next room and into the
room with the pit.  Fall down it, kill the Mummies, step on the switch, and
return to the room you just fell form.  Now there is a walkway you can jump
on.  In the next room there are 8 chest:  4 chests that are empty, 4 that are
Chest Mimics.  Kill the Mimics and go down the stairs.  Do the little puzzle
and get the Garlic, you'll need this later.  Now, return up the stairs you
just came down and go up the next stairway.  In the next room is a chest
containing an EkeEke and a Mimic.  Get the EkeEke and then go up the stairs.
 The room up the stairs contains YOU???  Actually it is a monster named Miro
looking like you.  Use the Garlic and he'll run away.  When you pass the area
he was standing on you'll see 3 doors.  If you want, go through the bottom
left door and go up the stairs.  Here will be a Priest that you can save at
and Detox Grass or an EkeEke.  Now return to the area with the 3 doors and  go
through the top one.  Get the Lifestock from the chest and go through the
door.  Hit the switch here, then return to the room with the 3 doors and go
through the middle one.  Follow Miro through the wall and up the stairs.
Continue to follow the path until you reach the gray square.  It is a warp
square that you should step on.
 I'm going to outline the way you should teleport in this paragraph and also
the end of the Tower.  When you first arrive, go warp at the square in the top
right corner.  In the next room, warp on the square in the bottom right
corner.  Go up to the platform and drop down to get the Lifestock, then go
back up and warp on the square in the bottom right corner.  Now warp on the
square in the top right corner.  Push the switch in this room and complete the
puzzle in the next to get a key, which you'll need later.  After doing this,
warp on the square in the bottom right corner in the next 2 rooms.  Then, when
you arrive at the floor with the platform, warp on the square in the top right
corner.  Kill the Mummies in this room and go up the stairs.  In this room,
kill the Cyclops' and follow Miro again.  Go up the first platform and get the
EkeEke, then heal yourself.  Go up the next and you'll see Miro lock the door.
Use the key and enter.  Go up the stairs until you meet up with Miro again.
This time he wants to fight.  Just back him into a corner and slash at him
until he runs away.  Follow him up until you find him talking with Mir, then
Mir will get rid of him.  Mir tries to talk with you but Friday opens her
mouth and challenges him to a fight.  He's very annoying.  Just try to dodge
his fireballs and hit him when you can.  He gives up soon and tells you where
to find the jewel and who is really imposing the taxes.  It's the Duke!!!!
Now it's time to get the jewel and hurry back to Mercator.
 3. At the Castle
 Once you arrive back in Mercator, go rest, stock up, and save.  After that,
head to the Castle.  Once you arrive at the Castle, you are rushed to meet the
Duke.  He congratulates you, but then orders his guards to surround you.
After this, Kayla, Wally, and Ink come in to take your jewels.  Yet, the Duke
disposes of them, takes the jewels from you, and throws you down a trap door.
 Once down here, you have to fight 2 Knights to open the door.  Through the
door is a platform up.  Once you get to the top, you see...... I'll let you
see this for yourself too.  Through the door in this room is a walkway where
you have to run around it to avoid a big spiked ball and to hit 2 switches.
In the next room, you have to put 4 pots in the 4 corners of the room to make
a platform appear.  After riding the platform up, kill the golem in the bottom
right corner to open the door.  In this room, you have to hit a switch, then
run up and get to the door before it closes.  The next room is the prison.  Go
into the second door from the top and rescue Moralis, also get the key.  Then
go into the last door and rescue the woman.  Continue on and use the key on
the locked door.  Go through the first door you see and down the stairs.  Get
the Lifestock in this room and the EkeEkes in the next.  Then go through the
next door and kill the Unicorns.  Kill the Knight and 4 Mummies (Duke Mercator
sure has strong security, doesn't he?)in the next room and continue.  Go up
the stairs in each room and kill the Knights that get in your way.  Once you
arrive at the top, you see Zak kidnapping Lara.  Follow him up to the roof and
he will fly away.  Now it's time to find that duke.
 4. The Castle
 Once you land(Wouldn't that hurt?) you hear that some soldiers have attacked
the Castle and Arthur is fighting them off.  You have to go and help him.  Go
into the Soldier Training area and fight off the monsters.  Then go up the
stairs and fight off the monster attacking Arthur.  After this, Arthur tells
you that the Duke has fled and has destroyed the lighthouse at Ryuma.  He says
to go up stairs and cut the armor to get a key, which you do.  You have to go
to Greenmaze to find the Sun Stone to fix the lighthouse.  After stocking up,
resting, and saving, go to the door on the side of the castle that you saw
Arthur come out earlier and use the key there.  Go in and push the switch,
which will drain the water from the fountain on the other side of the moat.
Now it's time to go to Greenmaze.
G. Greenmaze
 Okay, when you first enter Greenmaze just follow the path.  When you get to
an area that has two Reapers in it, stop.  Kill the Reapers and a treasure
chest containing Lifestock will appear on a ledge.  Once you reach an area
that looks to be a dead end, go through a path in between the trees.  This'll
put you at the keeper of Greenmaze and many other paths.  The first path you
should go down is the bottom right.  They'll be some gnomes there that make
fun of you and then run away.  After that, go back to the place with many
paths and go through the path at the top right.  After the first area, go into
the cave and go to the right(Not the portal).  Follow this until you happen
upon a wounded dog.  Friday will ask you to give her an EkeEke, and you
should.  The dog will get up and you should follow it.  Get the Lifestock in
the chest and go meet the man.  He'll talk for a while and then give you an
important item: The Einstein Whistle.  With this, you'll be able to talk with
dogs and call Einstein when you need help.
 Return to the entrance of this area and jump straight over the first gap and
to the left over the second, then follow the path to a new cave at the bottom
right.  Step on the warp in here and then climb the ladder and vine in the
next area.  Kill the Orc Kings and jump across the little ledge above the
levitating block.  In the next area, fall off the edge and go to the right.
Go up the vine and fall down to the blocks, then go down the stairs in the
cave.  Make sure you get the treasure chests in here.  Go up the other stairs
and outside, jump on the block to carry you up.  Follow this path until you
see another funny moment and a path out.   Jump over the little gap in this
area and a little while down the path you'll see a sign that says "CENTER OF
GREENMAZE" and stairs up.  Fall down the hole and when you arrive at the
bottom, hit the switch and go through the door nearest you.  In here, step on
the warp.
 In this room, get the treasure chest down the path under you once you
arrive.  Also, go into the cave behind the waterfall and get the two chests
there, then climb up the stairs.  Kill the Orc Kings and go through the first
tree path until you reach a door.  Follow the path in here until a gnome
appears and pushes you off the edge (Annoying, huh?).  Go back to that same
place by exiting to the path you can see to the left and falling off the same
area you did before.  Then, just follow the way you went after you fell down
to get there.  Once you arrive at the place where he pushed you off, the Gnome
will appear and give you a hint about the vine under you.  Go down the vine
and follow the path until you see a place to jump over to another path.  Jump
over here and follow it until you see the Sun Stone.  You should call Einstein
and Cutter and they will come to remove the trees blocking your path.  You
finally have the Sun Stone.  Now, if you completed Tibor's Pest, then you can
warp back to the beginning of Greenmaze from the tree right behind you.
 But there's no way to easily escape unless you did do Tibor's Pests.  You
have to continue the path you're on until you reach a treasure chest with a
Dahl, but you can go in the cave beside you and lower the vine if you want to
do that before you go.  After that, continue to follow the paths until you
come across a cave.  Follow the cave and release the vine rope, but DON'T go
down it.  Instead, go back to the cave near the Sun Stone.  Teleport and go
down the ladder.  Heal at the statue and go out the door at the bottom right.
Teleport here and go up the vine.  Once here, you can just drop down and
easily make it back to the beginning and out of Greenmaze.
 Okay, this isn't a complete walkthrough of everything in Greenmaze, but it
was too annoying to go everywhere.  I may, and I do mean MAY, put up an entire
walkthrough of it after I finish the game.  Now it's off to fix the lighthouse
in Ryuma.
 1. Ryuma
 Before you head to Ryuma, stock up and save (rest if needed), then go there.
Once you arrive in Ryuma, it is time to climb the tall lighthouse.  Once
there, you hand over the Sun Stone and the lighthouse keeper fixes it.  Also,
get the chest containing Lifestock before you jump down.  Now you should
return to Mercator and get on the boat.  But before you do that, you might
want to do this.
a. Marty and Bell's Love(Optional)
 Another optional one.  This one is for a special treasure that I recommend
you get.  If you're not coming here, then move on down.
 Okay, now that you can understand dogs, go talk to Marty at the witch's
house.  He'll say he misses his Bell.  Now, go to Massan and talk to Bell.
She'll tell you the story about what happened to them.  Go back to the witch
again, but you guessed it.  She turns you into a dog.  Follow the stairs down
after her until you run into a gray block.  Go to the room left of it and hit
the switches until three appear.  Press the one on the far left, then on the
top middle.  Next, push the middle switch in the middle row and then on the
middle right.   Step on the one on the top right and one will appear above
that.  Press that one and it should turn red.
 Return to the area with the gray blocks, then go through the next door and
follow the path until you come across another puzzle.  This one with balls and
switches (Tip: I find it easier to jump from the balls onto the switches if
you push the balls together on both sides).  After finishing this puzzle, go
back up and through the next door way.  This next puzzle is just speed.  You
have to run and jump over the golems to step on the open switches before they
close up again.  After you complete that puzzle, go back up and go through the
last doorway and down the stairs.  This puzzle is extremely annoying.  You
have to jump from block to block to make it to the switch.  The blocks fall
while doing this.   After doing this, the final block will disappear.  Go down
until you meet up with the witch.  There's another moment I won't share with
you and a Lifestock down here.  Go back up and get the Saturn Stone.  Now you
can go to Mercator and continue with your adventure.
H. Verla and the mine
 Once you arrive in Mercator, you can go to a ship and cast off for Verla.
Once you arrive in Verla, you find enemy soldiers have taken over the town and
all that is left is the shopkeeper and the priest.  Save it and go down the
path opposite to Verla Mine.  Get the treasure chest in here then return and
go down the path that leads to Verla Mine (Quickly warping to open up the tree
near Mercator if you did Tibor's Pests).  In a little house on the side of the
road, a man can tell you what really happened.  He says that all of the
villagers were taken to Verla Mine.  Also, behind the house is a chest
containing Lifestock.  Continue on until you arrive at the mine.
 Once you enter the mine, go down the two ladders and then go to the right.
Go in the top door in the room with the Cyclops'.  Get the treasures in here
and then return to the room where the second ladder is and go down the other
path.  Kill the Orc Kings in this room and fall down the ladders in the next
two.  Kill the Mummies and pass into the next room.  Kill or avoid the
Unicorns in the next room and continue.  Kill the skeletons here so you can
open the door on the other side of the bridge.  In here are two Knights and a
switch.  Step on the switch and go back to the room where the Unicorns used to
be.  Go through the new door and into a hard place.  Here are some spiked
balls that can push you off if not careful.  You just have to slink by them
very carefully (Tip: Though it takes off about ten hearts, I usually just get
hurt by one of them on purpose and run through when I'm still blinking).  In
the next room, fall down to the bottom floor and go through the door to get
some treasure chests.  Return to the top and jump across.  Past this are two
Knights and three Skeletons you have to kill to open the door.  Inside the
next room is Slasher,  A gold Knight that is the guard in that section of the
tunnel.  Kill him and get the key; then return to the room with the Cyclops',
or if you've lost a lot of EkeEkes, go to town and buy some and save as well.
 Past the locked door is another annoying jumping test.  Past that is a room
with a spiked floor.  Just jump on the platform and then the blocks and you'll
get past it.  In the next room, there are many enemies.  Go through the door
at the right and kill all of the Orc Kings in here.  Then grab the pots and
build a stairway up to the ledge at the beginning with them.  Pass the
mushrooms and go into the next room.  Watch out for the fast spiked balls and
go to the doorway to the left.  Kill or avoid the Lizard-men and hit the
switch down the stairs.  Go back up the stairs and kill the Lizard-men; then
build a stairway with the three boxes.  Avoid the spiked balls again and go
into the door at the top right.  Avoid or kill the Lizard-men and go through
the door at the bottom right.  Get the treasure down here and go back to the
room where the Lizard-men were.  Go up to the door at the top right and enter
it.  Fight Dex, a Knight who is the guard of the east part of the tunnel.
After he is dead, get the key and go back to the room with the Gray Mushrooms
and drop down to where the locked door is; or go back to town if you need
supplies or want to save.
 Past the locked door, avoid the spiked balls and go down the stairs. At the
top, jump across the big gap to the little section of land across from it and
go in the door.  Hit the button in the room and get the two treasures.  Then
go all the way down to the bottom and through the door.  Jump from platform to
platform here.  Make sure you get the Chrome Breast on that little section of
land.  Go into the next room and jump the blocks to get to the other side.  In
this room, get on the little levitating platform and go all the way to the
other side.  Once you arrive there, go all the way to the bottom right to get
a Lifestock in a cave (If you don't want to be so badly hurt, don't get it.
There will be an easier way to get it later).  Avoid or kill the Cyclops' and
Unicorns in the next room and go through the door.  Kill the Lizard-men and
avoid the spiked balls here, then go through the door.  Kill everything in
this room to make the next door open.  In this room is the last guard, Marley.
After you kill him, all of the villagers return to Verla and so should you.
Once you arrive there talk with the Mayor and he'll tell you about a sword he
found in the mine.  Go to the well and receive the Thunder Sword.  Now you
should rest up and save, then head to Destel.  Also, if you wish to go to
Mercator, the tunnel to it is clear now, so you can go there anytime you want.
 1. The path between Verla and Mercator
 On the little road from the cave is a break off at the bottom of the screen.
When you enter it Friday says "There's my village. Shall we go?" and you have
to go around a little while.  You get a Lifestock in this area and near the
end is a hole that leads to Twinkle Village.  You can talk with two other
nymphs here and get as many free EkeEkes as you want.  Also, there is a
Restoration on a ledge by the cave if you jump from the blocks over to it.
I. Destel
 To get to Destel, you have to go through the Verla Mine.  Before you head
through, go to the place where you faced Dex and the villagers were making an
escape route.  They finished it and near the end of it there is a chest
containing Lifestock.  After you get that, go back to the beginning of the
mine and through the top left path.  Follow this until you see a doorway with
two golems on the sides.  Go through there and follow it until you get
outside.  Go through the path in the trees to the right, and before you go
down the path, go to through the other path with trees to get a Dahl.  Follow
the road until you get to a levitating block.  Go up with the block, then drop
down the side to get a Lifestock.  Now continue on and go to Kelketo Waterfall
first.  Go in the doorway and to the item shop.  He has a Lifestock and other
supplies to sell here.  Now continue on to Destel.  In the next area is a
little gap you have to jump over.  Fall down it and search behind it to find a
Lifestock.  In the next screen you arrive in Destel.
 Destel is mostly the same as other villages.  It has a shop, church, and
inn.  You meet up with Pockets again at the inn.  Also at the Inn, you see
that treasure chest next to the Innkeeper?  Well, if you stand on it and walk
towards the Innkeeper for about two minutes, then he'll move and allow you to
get it.  It also has a well that contains monsters.  After talking with
everyone, you discover that Mercator and his soldiers have already been here
and left.  Go up the stairs at the top left of the village.  In the first
section you see a stone on the hill.  You have to go behind the hill past that
one and jump on some hidden stairs to the top.  Jump across the short gap and
receive the Mars Stone.  Continue on down the road and you'll arrive at a
lake.  On the steps before you arrive at the river is a chest containing
Lifestock.  It's a very hard jump to get this.  There's also a warp tree, but
it's not open.  Now go to the little dock on the lake and see Mercator sail
away.  After this, go through the path at the bottom right.  While going up
the steps through the trees, make sure you turn right on the second and get
the Lifestock and Dahl.  In the next screen you have to climb up a hill to see
the duke make fun of you some more.  Now return to the village.
 Once you arrive, you discover that someone has broken the seal to the well.
I suggest you stock up, rest, and save now.  Now it's time to go down the
well.  Once you fall down the hole follow the path until you get to some
platforms.  (Warning: Very annoying room) Jump across these platforms and down
to the little doorway.  Kill the bubbles in here and press down all the
buttons with the three boxes and yourself to get a key.  Return to the
platforms and continue jumping till you get to the end of the room.  Once in
the next room, jump on the levitating block and go to the other side.  Get the
EkeEke in the chest on the stairs and go through the door.  Follow this path
until you arrive at a chest containing Lifestock.  Now go back to the room
with the levitating block.  Run across the falling platforms and if you want
to brave it, try to get the Lifestock in the middle of this room.  Avoid the
iron balls and go up the ladder.  After the next room, go up the stairs and
avoid the Specters'.  Go down with the platform and get the Lifestock down
there, then return and go through the door on the other side.  Go past the
falling platforms in this room and get the Dahl, then go to the other side and
go through the door on the left first.  Go up the ladder and through the two
doors and you'll meet up with Pockets again.  He runs away (As usual) and
leaves 2 treasure chests containing a Lifestock and a Statue of Gaia.
 Return to the room that you came from and go through the door at the top.
Kill all of the skeletons in here to open the doors, then go through the first
door you encountered coming in.  Kill the 2 Unicorns and Lizard-men and get
the key.  Now go back and through the door near the locked door.  Kill the
Cyclops' in here and get the key, then return to the area you just came from.
Go through the last door and kill the 4 Ninjas (They look cool) and Mushroom
to get another key.  Now you can finally unlock the door.  Past this door is a
pot and 2 Knights and Lizard-men.  DON'T KILL THEM!!  You need them to follow
you up to the cliff when you put the pot down.  They have to jump on a button
for you so you can get up to the locked door.  Past this locked door is a
bunch of skeletons, treasure chests, and another locked door.  Get the
treasures and open the locked door.  This room is annoying.  In here is giant
statue that when it jumps, if you're on the ground when it lands it stuns you.
You should kill it by jumping continuously and slashing it quickly.  You get
the Healing Boots for killing it.  Now continue on past the last locked door.
Follow this until you reach a signpost.  In this area, go get the Lifestock on
the hill, then continue toward the lake.  Once you get to a place with a cave
and a place to go down, stop.  If you want, you can go down the stairs and
visit Kindly's brother, Greedly.  Though I wouldn't buy anything unless you
want the Lifestock.  Also, continue to the back of the path to find the warp
tree that'll bring you to the one on the road from Destel to the Lake Shrine.
Now, return to the cave and go in.  Read the riddle (If you want) and go to
the Goddess statue.  Get the 2 Statue of Gaias and use one while you're
standing on the square that heals you.  You have now completed your journey to
the Lake Shrine, but now you have to enter it.
 1. The Lake Shrine
 When you first enter the Lake Shrine, you are approached by some smart
Unicorn soldiers.  They leave and you can continue.  Go up the little carpet
and into the room.  Save it here, then go back out.  Go through the door at
the bottom left.  Push all of the buttons in here and go through the door.
Kill everyone here and go down the stairs.  Just avoid the Lizard-men and go
through the door.  Follow the Golems around to the new door and go inside.
Those strange Unicorns are there again, but they disappear soon.  Go outside
and follow the Golems again.  In the next room, you have to throw a box onto a
button and then quickly jump to the platform it creates before it disappears.
Get the key in here and then follow the Golems again.  In this room, avoid the
spiked balls and get the Lifestock.  Now go back to the room with the Lizard-
men and kill them.  This will make a switch appear and when you press it, one
of the Golems walks over to the other side of the room.  Move the switch next
to it and climb up.  Now return to the main room.
 Go through the door at the top right now.  Press the button in here and kill
the Golems it brings to life.  Use the key on the door and go through.  In the
next room, make all of the gold Golems chase you, then attack a certain one
and push the switch that appears after that to stop them.  Now go down the
stairs and go past this room.  Go into the next room and get the Golden
Statue, then return to the room with the switch and five Golems.  Hit the
switch and try to make the Golems line up straight across from the switch.
Now you can walk(or jump) to the door up on the ledge.  In this room you have
to be super fast to get the chest.  You have jump on the little block to make
a platform appear, then jump up to it and jump off of it to the chest in a
second about.  The chest contains a Lifestock.  Now you should go back to the
room where you got the Golden Statue and fall down the hole.  Get the EkeEke
and go through the open door.  Kill the Orcs in here, then kill the Golem to
make a platform appear.  Go up the stairs and jump across the platforms until
you reach the other door.  In here, drop down the hole where the Unicorn's
did.  Make sure you do it 1 1/2 or 2 steps away from the stairs so you can
land on the little pillar and get the treasure chest.
 Go into the next room and kill the Ghost generator and the Ghosts.  In the
next room, you get on the first platform, then jump to the second one when you
pass it.  On this side, you have to make one of the Knights jump on the switch
to open the door on the other side.  In the next room is another one of those
throw it and run kind.  You have to throw a boulder onto a little carpet
square, then run through the door before it shuts.  In the next room, don't
kill the Golem and step on the switch.  Instead, just go straight through the
other door.  In the next room, you have to push all of the buttons to get up
the stairs.  Up here, you should kill the Knights and build a stairway over
the barred door.  In this room, you should hit the button in the bottom right
corner and fall down the hole it opens.  Down here, kill the Bubbles and throw
the box that appears on the head of the Golem to the right.  In the next room,
throw the 4 boulders into the four corners to open the door.  Return to the
Bubble room and put the box on the other Golem.  This room is another one
where you have to go around in the square.  Go to the first room and you see
the duke again.  He'll make fun of you (Yet again) and leave.  In the second
room, kill the Lizard-men and go through the door at the bottom.  Don't press
on the button in this room, just go through the little crack in the barred
door on the right.  Go through the top door in here and get the key (After
killing the Mimics).  Return and go up the stairs in the middle of the room.
In here, take the box to the Golem and put it on its head, then jump to the
open door.  Push the button at the top of the stairs, then fall down.  Go
through the bottom door and acquire the Sword of Ice.  Now it's back to that
locked door.
 After getting past the locked door in the room with the Bubbles, run past
the balls falling from the sky.  Then, just pass through the next door and go
around another Golem square.  In the first room is the Shell Breast.  When you
go in the second room come out again and go to the third room.  In the third
room, get the Worms to go into three of the four holes, then you step in the
fourth and a treasure chest containing Lifestock will appear.  Get the
treasure, then kill the Worms.  Got through the next room and back into the
second room.  Use the box on the little upraising near the stairs to jump onto
the stairs.  Up here, stay to the inside, press the button, and go through the
door nearest the button.  Jump from platform to platform here.  Also, fall
down after you jump off the third one and try to land on the golden Golem's
head below.  Hit the button on top of the stairs, and then on the little stone
floor between the platforms.  Go through the newly opened door and kill the 4
Ninjas in the next room.  Go into the top door and then through the top left
door.  Kill the Lizard-men and drop down the hole.  Get the Lifestock in the
chest, kill the Golems, and go through the door at the bottom right.  Get the
key here and go back out.  Go through the door at the bottom.
 Return to the locked door and use the key on it.  Avoid the gold Golems in
this room and go through the door at the bottom right.  Kill the Golem behind
the steel ball with an ice hurricane and then jump on the switch.  Go back out
and jump down the left side of the hole.  Try to land on the platform and jump
to the door on the left.  Avoid the ghosts until the button appears at the
bottom of the stairs.  Push the button and go through the other door.  Push
the button in here and return.  Wait for the button again and return to the
platform.  Try to jump to the other door from it.  In here, kill the Ninjas
and go through the door.  Use the box to climb on the Golem and then up the
stairs.  Up here, throw the boulders onto the Golems to open the door.  Go
into the next room and get the two treasure chest, then return to the Ninja
room.  Go through the door to the right and use the key.  Before you enter
though, go through the door to the right and use the goddess statue to heal.
Now, go through the used-to-be-locked door.  Walk through and pick up the
Dahl.  In the next room are the Unicorns.  They're easy.  After eliminating
them, go through the next door and follow the path until you meet up with the
duke.  He'll challenge you to a fight and of course, you have to fight him.
(He looks like an idiot the way he walks with that sword)  He's pretty easy
too.  Just hit him enough times and he'll lose.  He gets pouty and says you
can take the treasures.  But just as you're about to get the jewel, something
hits you (Won't tell you what).  After the duke talks for a while, Mir brings
you back to his tower.  He tells you to please stop the duke and gives you axe
magic.  There are many places to use this, but I won't tell you all of them.
a. Side Quest (Optional)
 Well, first off, one of them is to find all of the sacred (discolored) trees
and get whatever is behind them, especially in Massan.  In Massan, behind the
sacred trees there is a rare treasure.  I'll describe this one first.  When
you first enter, you have to fall down a hole.  Move quickly because a big
boulder will fall on you if you don't.  Next, you have to climb up three sets
of ladders.  Push the button at the top and go down the stairs.  Fall down
again and hit the switch down there, then climb up again.  At the top, jump
into the hole hugging the wall opposite of the room wall.  You should land on
another set of stairs.  Climb this and push the button up here, then drop down
again.  Hit the button down here and climb back up.  Fall down again and hit
the button near the end.  Now go to the cave and kill the Lizard-men.  Jump
over the spiked ball and go into the next doorway.  Now all that's left is to
claim your prize and leave.
 Also, not actually a quest, but can give you good money.  If you talked to
Arthur, then you know he built a casino in the well.  Well, he'll give you a
ticket and you can finally go there and play the games.  It's a good way to
raise money if you're good at them.  Also, if you return to the Lake Shrine
where the duke was (At the end) there is a Lifestock in the chest you tried to
open but couldn't.  Also, remember that room I said you needed to remember at
the Verla Mine?  Now that you have the Fire Proof Boots, you can walk on the
flames and get a Lifestock.
J. Mountainous Area
 I suggest you stock up, rest, and save in Mercator.  Then go to the entrance
of Greenmaze, but don't go the way toward Greenmaze.  Instead, head the way
that says Mountainous Area behind the sacred trees(You probably already know
this. Just decided to say it, that's all).  Continue down that path until you
reach an area with Lizard-men.  In this area, you have to go to the left of
the screen and follow a very narrow path around a cliff to get to the new path
behind the cliff.  Before you go to through the doorway though, get the chest
containing Lifestock to the very left (Hidden behind the cliff).  Continue on
until you come upon a warp tree(Warp if you want to open another tree).  You
should go to the far top right of the screen first to get the Dahl on the
cliff.  Then, you should go up the little trail that looks like a hill.  Go to
the left one first and follow it up.  Get the Lifestock in the chest and go
through the path.  Here you will encounter an enemy that, by now, is expected.
He'll swoop down attacking you, but then Friday intervenes and he goes to wait
at the plain in the north.  You should continue exploring before you face him.
Continue across this little bridge and get the two treasure chests on the
other side.  Once you go out of this place (through the bottom left path), go
to the path that is closest to you.  In here is a goddess statue and a cave.
Go in the cave and receive the Moon Stone.  Now return to the area across the
bridge and go up one of the paths at the top.  This is where Zak is waiting.
 Zak is one tough opponent.  All you can do to avoid his swoop attack is jump
and run around a lot.  Just keep attacking until he dies and he'll give you to
the Gola's Eye.  He'll fly away, leaving you alone again.  Go up through the
path at the top of this area and get the Lifestock near the end.  Now, return
to the area under the bridge to use the Gola's Eye.  But before you do that,
near the end of the bridge on the side you are now, jump to the right and try
to land on the platform over there.  Follow the doors and get the treasure
chests along the way until you get to the area with the Mushrooms and Lizard-
men.  Near the bottom of this area is a secret door that leads to a Lifestock.
Continue along the path until you get to the chest containing Lifestock at the
end.  Now go use the Eye on the statue.  This will create a warp that will
take you back to where you first started the game.  Follow the path in here
until you reach the area you were pushed off by the boulder(You'll have to
face enemies along the way this time).  Get the Lifestock across the boulder
and then go through the door that used to be locked.  Follow the path until
you run into some Golems that try to kill you.  Avoid the first few, but in
the next room kill them.  This opens the door and allows you to see the duke
disappear and another funny scene.  After the princess leaves, you should
follow the duke.
 1. Kazalt
 A village past the warp???  Yes, the village of the people that made King
Nole's Palace.  They have everything every other village has.  Also, I'm just
saying this, it seems that everyone has left except you and the duke.  I mean
Pockets and Kayla, Wally, and Ink. I wonder where they went and if they're
still after the treasure(At least the trio).  I mean, the last time you saw
the trio was in Greenmaze and that was way long ago.  Also, this is a good
time to tie up any loose ends in the world.  If you have done everything you
wanted to for now, then rest, stock up, and save.  After that, head to the
palace.
K. King Nole's Palace
 The palace is down the stairs from the village.  When you get to the room
containing Bubbles, kill all of them, then step on the switch that appears.
Kill all of the enemies in the next room and go through the door.  In here, go
through the door across the spikes.  Avoid the spiked ball that drops on you
once you enter the room, get the treasure chest, and go through the next door.
Kill all of the Skeletons in here, then kill the Golem with an ice hurricane.
Go down the stairs and go through the door near the bottom right corner(I know
this room is a little hard, but it'll become easier later).  In this room,
push the button and carry the box down.  Use the boxes as a stairway up to the
little door and go around until you come out the other side of it.  Now, climb
up the ladder and avoid the spiked balls to get into the next room.  The first
thing you should do in the next room is kill all of the Mummies.  Then you
have to do very small and (VERY)annoying jumps from these little cliffs to get
to where a skeleton is.  If you're still playing the game after this, then
kill the Skeleton and fall down to get the Lantern from the treasure chest.
Go into the next room and use the Lantern to light it up (Useful, huh?).
Climb up the stairs and then down the next set to go to a new room.  In here,
push the button and hop across the little platforms on the left to get a key.
Now, return to the room that had a partial spiked floor and Orcs and
Specters(But as you're passing through the room that is dark, use the
Lantern).  When you're passing through the room with the spiked ball blocking
the way, throw the box on it to open it.  When you arrive in the room, use the
key on the bottom door.  In here, go down the stairs and follow the little
walkways until you find some more stairs.  Go up them and get the Lifestock
and EkeEke in here, then return down the stairs.  Go back up the stairs you
came down originally and go through the door.  Kill the enemies in here and
then use the Lantern to see.  Go down the stairs and get the box near the
bottom right corner.  Return to the left of the stairs and try to throw the
box onto the button.  Once you hit the button, it makes a platform start
moving back and forth.  Go down to the little ledge and wait for it to pass to
jump on it.  Go through the door to the right first.  In here, get rid of the
Lizard-man and pick up the pot.  Go down to the little ledge and try to land
the pot on the button without breaking it.  This opens a door for you above.
Follow the path inside the doorway until you come upon a hole.  Jump down the
hole and receive the Iron Boots.
 Go up the stairs and return to the platform.  Go back to the room that leads
to the stairs and to the door with the Ninjas and Specters.  Go down the
stairs and go to the bottom left corner.  You should find a warp here.  Once
you warp, equip your Iron Boots and go down the stairs.  Get the pot in the
side corner and put it on top of the spiked ball in the air.  Jump over, climb
the stairs, and get the Lifestock.  Now return to the room with the platform
From the platform, go through the door at the bottom.  Go down the stairs at
the bottom.  The trick to the puzzle down here is to make sure the last button
being held down is the one that doesn't make a spiked ball appear.  Get the
Lifestock for figuring out the puzzle, then go up the other stairs.  Work your
way around and out to the platform.  Now go all the way back to the room with
Bubbles that you first started in.  In here, go in the little tunnel and to
the other door.  Through this room avoid the spiked balls.  In the next room,
equip the Iron Boots and walk on the spikes at the bottom till you get to a
button.  Push the button and return to the beginning of this room.  Go across
the lowered gray block and down the stairs.  Go up the next stairs and push
the button, then return to the room.  Go through the door near the gray block
and jump over the warp square.  Follow the path until you get to the top and
receive a key.  While up here, slash the four trees in the middle and fall
down.  Here you get the Sword of Gaia.
 Fall down and avoid the spiked balls in the next room.  Use the box to climb
up and go in the doorway.  Now you should return to the room with the
platform.  Get on the platform and go through the door at the bottom.  Go to
the other side of the room in here and use the key.  In the next room, jump
over the two spiked balls and then jump from ledge to ledge.  Go through the
door and kill all of the Bubbles to make a button appear.  Pick up the box and
get close to the barred door.  Throw the box on the button and run through the
door before the ball can fall on you.  In the next room, go on the little
walkway until you arrive at a chest containing a Lifestock.  Now go up the
ladder and follow the path to the left of it until you see a Golem with a
boulder in front of it.  Use a powered up sword attack (Sword of Gaia) and
kill it.  Also make sure you kill all of the Skeletons.  After everything is
dead, step on the switch near the end of this room.  Then return to the
entrance of this room and go up the path that used to be blocked by a Golem.
Step on the switch up hear and then go through the door a little under the
entrance to the room.  Kill the enemies in here and go down the stairs.  Down
the stairs, try to get one of the Skeletons to step on the switch so you can
go into the next room.  In the next room, you have to collect boxes and put
them beside a little cliff.  Make sure the switch is pushed down under one of
the boxes as you climb the cliff.  You'll get a key here.  Now return to room
where you came down the stairs.  Kill all of the enemies in here and step on
the switch to open the door.  Now go through the door in the bottom right
corner.  In here, go past the gray block and through the next door.  In this
room, use the key and go through.  Go down the stairs to the bottom left.
Avoid the little blue squares in here and go up the stairs.  Up here, kill all
of the Lizard-men and put the box on one of the buttons that appears.  If you
want to save, then put the box on the middle button and go down the stairs at
the top.  Figure out the puzzle down here and you can save at the Priest.
After that or if you don't want to, put the box on the right switch and go
down the stairs at the bottom right.  Fall down the holes and when you see a
little cut off, go that way.  Climb up until you find the Venus Stone.  Then
fall down the holes again and get ready for a fight.  In the next room, you
have to fight a guardian that is made of fire.  You can equip the Fire-Proof
boots if you want, but they don't really help.  My strategy was to stand right
above the fire pool at the top right and keep swinging.  This way, you'd only
have to avoid attacks from the pool under it and could kill him easily as he
went to that pool.  After beating him, go up and get the Gola's Nail.  Step on
the warp pads and return to the village.  I recommend saving it and stocking
up.
 Return to the area before you fought the fire Guardian(The place with the
two stairs that aren't blocked).  Go down the stairs to the bottom right and
ignore the Lizard-men.  Go down the stairs in here and through the door.  Fall
down and try to land on one of the hands that contain a treasure.  The
Lifestock is in the middle of the room(mostly) and the Snow Spikes are on the
bottom left side(Mostly).  After you have gotten these two treasures, land on
the little cliff on the top left.  Go up the stairs and in here, make it where
all of the buttons are held down to open the door.  Up here, kill the Knights
and go out of the room.  Jump on the platform out here and go through the door
on the bottom.  Go through the door behind the iron balls and equip the Snow
Spikes.  Walk on the ice and fall down the hole.  Talk with the man down here
and he'll say you have to get some logs from his son if you want to go down
the river.  Go up the steps and continue the way you're going.  Go back to the
area that had the locked door in it that led to the Guardian(The room just
past the Lizard-men on Ice).  Go in the door under the stairs and talk to the
son.  He'll allow you to go up and cut the tree.  Cut the tree and get the two
Logs it leaves you with.  Now, return to the dad and make the raft.  Sail
across the river and get the treasure chests.  Make another raft and fall down
the waterfall.  Jump off and get ready to fight Spinner.  There's no real
strategy to Spinner, you just avoid him and attack when you can.  Get the
treasure chest and warp back to the village if you want to save.  If not,
continue on.
 In the next room, get the Hyper Breast behind the waterfall and get the key
from the chest, then warp.  Go up the stairs and to the right.  Continue on
this path until you arrive at the room with Skeletons.  Go through the door at
the bottom right here and kill all of the Lizard-men in here.  Go across the
ice and through the next door.  In here you have to jump from ledge to ledge
until you get to a platform.  Across the platform are Skeletons.  Kill them
and go up the stairs at the bottom left.  Go down the two sets of stairs and
kill the Lizard-men.  Get the treasure they leave and open the locked door.
In here, you fight yourself AGAIN??  Yes, Miro has come back to finish you
off.  The Garlic doesn't work this time, so just slash him until he dies.  Get
Gola's Horn and go down the stairs.
 Go up the stairs across the room, but if you want, you should save it(I
recommend this).  So step on the warp, then step on the warp that leads to
Mercator.  Stock up and save here.  Then return the way you came and go up the
stairs.  The first room is pretty easy, just jump around avoiding the red
balls until you get to the door at the very top.  After jumping through the
door, Avoid the iron balls and step on the warp on the other side.  Past the
warp, kill the Lizard-men and pick up the pot(Go in the door and get the Dahl
if you want).  Bring the pot up and carry it across the little platforms up
the stairs.  Once you get it to the other side, set it on the button and go
through the door.  In the next room, climb up the ladder and avoid the spiked
balls so you can get to the warp.  In the next room, run around and go through
the door that is already open.  In here, kill the Knights and Lizard-men.
Past this room, jump onto the platform and from there to the other side of the
walkway.  Once you get across, jump on the button and run past the two gray
blocks.  In the next room, avoid the iron balls and go through the door.  This
next room is the most annoying.  You have to push a button and get under each
Golem till it gets to the button it has to push.  You have to move under the
blue first, then the white.  It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.  I
did it after about 10-12 tries, you just have to be very fast.  Up the ladder,
after the Skeleton is killed, you have to avoid a big red ball.  You have to
go around and push a button past the balls rolling at you.  Once you press the
button, fall down the first hole and go through the door.  Push all of the
buttons in here and go through the next door.  Go up the stairs, fall down the
hole, press the button, and kill the Lizard-men.  Fall down this hole and make
sure you fall on the little platforms.  Once you arrive at the room with the
Skeletons in it, a platform will take you to a picture and it will open up.
Go through the first hallway and in the next room is a giant statue.  Just
follow the same strategy as the other one:  Jump a lot and attack when you
can.  Past it and the next hallway is another Spinner.  Kill it, then I
recommend that you go stock up and save.  Go back to Mercator, then return to
the area you were at before.  I know, it's hard climbing up, but you're very
near the end and don't want to do that again, do you? (Tip:  If you get up to
the second area where you can drop off [area with the ladders and spiked
balls] then get as high as you can and jump for the middle.  Hopefully, you
can make it to the middle and not have to climb up the rest of the way)  Go
past the room you fought with Spinner in and go through the hallways (Cool
music, huh?).  After the three items shine brightly, get ready for a fight to
the death.  In the next room is *GASP* King Nole himself.  He is here to
defend his treasures.  You have to fight him to get them.
 King Nole is pretty easy.  (Tip: Before I say anything, I recommend you
conserve EkeEkes and use Dahl's when you're about to die.  You'll need EkeEkes
a lot.)  Just jump around swinging and try to hit him when he appears(Of
course this may not work for some because I was using a Turbo controller when
I fought everything in this game).  Of course also dodge him if you can't hit
him before he swings.  Then another funny scene occurs and a dragon appears.
This is a little tougher.  You have to avoid the dragon's flame and also when
it slams the little platform with its tail(This will stun you).  Slash at its
head when it comes down and it'll soon be finished.  After it's dead, you'll
see........  I'll let you see the ending for yourself.  It's great.
 And so ends the great story about our hero and the treasures of King Nole.
It's sad when a good game ends, isn't it?  Anyway, if you have any comments or
mistakes to point out, then e-mail me at my address.  I hope you enjoyed the
game.
