Hello again. This is my little FAQ for Gleylancer. It was released by NCS in
1992 and is a shooter with some anime scenes.

[     2.        S T O R Y

It is the year 2025. There is a war between Aliens and Humans. You are Lucia
(I think so...) and you get the message that yor father died in a battle.
Which is the one you can see at first. Because you can't believe that your
father has died, you go without permission into a space ship and take off to
search for your father!

Here is everything explained concerning the options menu:

With the game level, you can set the difficulty for the game from easy to
hard.
In Scenario Mode, you can chose wheather the story shall continue in the
cut-scenes or if you just want to fly around.
With shot, you can set if it should be manual (you must shoot) or auto
(controlled by the computer).
Speed controls the speed of your ship. You can change this value in the
game.
In Music Test, you can listen to the music from the game.
In Sound Test, you can do the same with the sound effects.
In Voice Test, you can do the sami with the voices.
The last point, button control, you can set how the buttons will be
configured. You can see a preview below that.
You can close the options menu with the start button.

Difficulty was set to easy.

Before you can start, you have to adjust the way your mover moves. You can
collect max. 2 of them in the game. You can choose between 7 Variants. An
English description is at the bottom so i wont talk about it more.

Level 1
You are flying around in an Asteroid Belt around an orange planet. There
are asteroids in your way so watch out that you don't get hit.
Level Boss: The level boss is a space ship with 2 long tentacles at the
front. It does not shot at you so it should be no problem.

Level 2
This time, you are flying on a water planet. You can dive under the water
but you can get destroyed when you hit the stones. All weapons are acting
  normal underwater.
Level Boss: The level 2 Boss is a statue with 1 Tentacle. It has a mini-gun
  on his head.

Level 3
You are now in some kind of a cave. Be careful that you don't touch the
walls, or you get destroyed. This is the first level that scrolls vertical
  some times.
Level Boss: The Level Boss this time is a slimy alien with a very big brain
(or something like that). At first, shoot at his head and it will explode.
The brain is falling down and you can kill it.

Level 4
The second cave. This time with windows to the moon. This is the first
level with some puzzle sequences. You have to control your ship through
  some very small ways.
Level Boss: The head from this Alien is showing up at the top or at the
bottom and throws a bugball after you. The walls in this room will come
nearer and nearer so defeat him as fast as you can.

Level 5
You are flying around in space again. At first, you must destroy a big
spaceship and after that, you will meet the Boss.
Level Boss: The Level Boss this time is a mix between a space-ship and
and space-station. Be warned, he can shoot his front part after you.
You can shoot at the little white projectiles too to destroy them.

Level 6
You are flying in the sky, a sun is going down in the background. Some
clever guys invented a barrier that will destroy you when you touch it.
The problem is that it goes away after a few seconds. You can go through
  it now.

Level 7
You are in an ice-cave. Some of the ways are full of ice-blocks, so you
have to shot it away. Do this fast as the screen is moving all the time.
Level Boss: The boss today is a mix between a snake and a bull. It will
surround you so you should use a long-range weapon here.

You can use 2 Buttons in the Game. A and B. With the A Button, you can
adjust the speed of your ship. (It is the same as in the options menu).
With the B Button you can Shoot. Just press it as long as you want because
it is automatic.
