1. Introduction.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Championship Pool is a game for the Sega Genesis© (or mega
drive) that is brought to you by Bitmasters© and Mindscape©.
First things first this is not pub pool, this is championship
pool, y'know the ones you sometimes pass on telly, anyway the
rules are different. The rules you need to know are documented
in the faq. If you have any comments, requests or complaints
feel to E-mail me at the address at the top of this page.
All information on this faq can be used for other faq but
I would prefer to be e-mailed first. You can also put this faq
on your personal website, but you must be granted permission
first (via e-mail) and will always allow you to use  my faq
but I would like to track which sites post my faq.

None of the information documented in this faq is taken from
other guides or faqs. I take complete credit for all of this
faq.

Not many people own this game and the easiest way to get it is
to download illegaly, if you want the actual cartridge then
you've got a tough job on your hands. It took me ages to my
cartridge of the game.

4. Hint & Tips
--------------------------------------------------------------
First things first, this is not a walkthrough (How the hell
do you make a walkthrough for pool!) it just gives you tips
and pointers on how to play the game.

Heres the main tips.

1. Always watch the phantom balls, it's very hard to guess
where the balls will end up.

2. Hold B when your perfecting the shot, as it makes pocketing
the ball a whole lot easier.

3. Don't over-power your shots, just because it looks like its
going in on the phantom balls, doesn't get rid of the chance that
it could riochet off the sides and come back out of the pocket.

4. If your not a good breaker, then use the automatic break, it
always gives you a good break.

5. There's always another way to pocket a ball, bounce it off
the sides if you have to, think where the ball is going to be
at the end of the shot.

6. Use your spins and stuff, take your time between each shot
and change the power accordingly.

7. Learn the damn rules! If you start pocketing the wrong ball
your gunna lose!

8. Don't get cocky, the easiest shot is normally the best shot
to use.

9. Practice in freestyle if your c**p. Practice makes perfect
and it helps in your understanding of the game.

10. It's best to keep the numbers on the ball, as its very hard
to tell the balls apart (except if you play championship pool
all the time!).

11. Try not to miss on the last ball or the last two, the
computer will usually win with only a few balls left.

-------------------------------------------------------------
5. Playin
-------------------------------------------------------------
Yes this is the juicy bit, although not a walkthrough it is a
step by step guide to playing a match.

First off slowly edge yourself in, just 4 wins a match. If
your rubbish at breaking then simply turn on the automatic
break it always gives you a decent break, but the problem is
it doesn't always give you an upper hand there's no advantage
but thankfully theres not many disadvantages.

Pot the easy ones first and try to set yourself up for the next
shot using the spin function (tap the start button and go to
set spin).
One caution: BE CAREFUL ON THE LAST SHOTS! the phantom shots
vary and cause different shots, how many times have I seen
that last ball riochet off the pocket! Just the sort of thing
that can make you hurl your pad through the window.

If your having trouble with a certain ball and you can't just
squeeze that ball into that pocket, then simply try a different
approach, bounce it off the walls the phantom balls make it real
easy to bounce it off the walls and get that ball into the pocket.
