1.0 - About this Guide
================================================================================
===============
This is the very first time I write a walkthrough so I will try to be as clear
as possible and straight to the point. As many Tales fans out there, I wanted to
know more about Japanese only Tales of... So here we are, I do not know much
Japanese but with lots of effort, consulting guides and lots of mistakes made in
the process, I can say that I really can help all of you who wanted to play this
game made for the Game Boy Color.
Important to say I used the only English Patch I have found out there which is
not entirely finished, but I hope you also find this useful if you are playing
the Japanese version. If you want a translation guide check out Change V's
guide, I included the link at the Credits section.

The Stop Menu lets you use the Quick save feature, which is an option to return
to the Title Screen with a Quick save file. It lets you pause the game wherever
you are and return to the title screen without losing your progress, but every
time you load it, the quick save file will be lost, so you have to select the
Stop option every time you want to quick save before turning of your device.
================================================================================
===============
3.0 - Important Points
================================================================================
===============
a) Changing costumes:
You can change clothes by examining the brown closets found in different places,
talking to the Frog in your house entrance or by using the Change clothes item.
Closets can be found at Dio and Mel’s house either on the left or right side
rooms inside the house. Inside the Costume Store and inside dungeons at certain
checkpoint floors. I’d recommend getting every costume mastered before going
upstairs/downstairs at dungeons so you can change costumes and master another
one while you are grinding at the dungeon.
The Costume store can be found in Valhalla village, the house with a shirt logo
above it. Inside talk to the woman on the left in front of the counter, who can
make some new costumes for you by combining two mastered costumes. When talking
to her you have three options:
1 - Synthesize a Costume by combining two MASTERED costumes. You choose the two
costumes you want to combine and then you will have a menu of costumes displayed
with prices, these are the possible results of costumes you can obtain by
synthesizing the two initial costumes.
*Note* The two costumes you use to synthesize the new one will be consumed in
the process.
2 - Explanation and some examples of what you can do with synthesizing.
3 - You can use this to check the costumes you have and which costumes you need
to synthesize to obtain them again.
b) Mastering costumes:
You can master costumes by getting CP (Costume Points) after every fight, you
can check the CP for the costume you have equipped for each character in the
Status screen, if you want to do every costume, you will have to do it for both
characters (Yes Dio and Mel count as separate mastered costumes).
c) Attitude Bar: (Unfinished)
The attitude bar is a unique and new to the Tales series feature. Both Dio and
Mel will have attitude changes throughout the game and will have different bars
which will have different values depending on:
- The Costume your character is wearing.
- The answers you pick at the end of each boss battle
- The badges you have equipped. These will only affect how fast, slow, if it
stops or increases the rate those attitude bars change with each battle you
encounter.
Dio's Attitudes
Docile
Funny
Thoughtful (Omoiyari)
Hotz
Dark
Curious
Mel's Attitudes
Docile
Playful
Sympathy (Itawari)
Charm
Mean (Ijiwaru)
Curious
Nayameru (Worried)
You can check you Attitude Bar on the Status menu of each character. Press A
Button twice to change the pages so you can get to the one that displays
Attitude Bars.
You will need a certain attitude and specific Costumes to complete some of the
Side quests.
The attitude bar consists of different "moods" or "feelings" Dio and Mel obtain
depending on the costume they are wearing. Each feeling/mood has a bar that
fills with 100 points in total, but you only have 100 points overall for all of
your feeling bars.
For example if you have a feeling (Docile i.e.) up to 100 points the other
feelings will be at 0 points. If you increase 2 points on a feeling other than
(Docile), the (Docile) feeling will decrease to 98 points and the new one will
be at 2 points. The combined sum of all of the feeling bars equals 100 points so
in this case it would be (98 + 2).

Starting Menu
さいしょからはじめる (New game)

Exchange Data
Print Costume
At the start of the game the narrator starts by telling you that YOU saw a
falling star, and that when you go after it you find in the blinding light, not
one but two babies. As you are a nice person you decide to raise them D: .
Afterwards you have to name the two babies, the first one is the girl (Mel) and
the following is the boy (Dio). Choose whatever name you want or just pick the
default and choose はい to accept whatever name you input. As opposed to other
Tales of games where you are the main character, in this game the fourth wall is
broken and they address to you as the one who took care of Dio and Mel.
Narikiri's House
After the intro 13 years have passed since you took care of Mel an Dio. You will
be asked what name you want for the house you live in, same input はい to accept
whatever name you want to, the default name is Narikiri's House. Dio and Mel
live here and it is situated in A.C.4408 in the Tales of Phantasia timeline.
After this Dio will say that he found a green creature in the mountains and that
it is his now! Input whatever name you want for it. default name is Kururu.
After this you will get a tutorial about the four rooms in the house. The save
spots shaped like a 6 point star allow you to save your game when you step on
them, you will be also told about the stop feature in the main menu which allows
you to quick save. Next you will be asked your genre, your name and how Dio and
Mel will call you from now on. You can change it later if you want. These are
the 3 options:
1.- By your name.
2.- Like family.
3.- Like something great.
When you are free to move go directly down to open a treasure chest to get an
Apple. When using food you have to access the item Menu from the Main Menu and
put that Apple in the food bag so that you can regain health from the food bag
by walking around. Then enter the room to the right (Mel's room). They will show
you how Changing closets look like, you can change your clothing in these
anytime. Grab the chest directly south to get a Ring-F. This item can be
equipped from the Equipment Menu in the main Menu. Go north to find another two
treasure chests, one contains the Hunter Costume and the other contains a Change
Costume item, which you can use to change costumes while in a dunegon.
Now go out of Mel's room to the left, and keep going left until you find another
treasure chest, inside you will find a pink gummy, gummies are the same as gels
in the Tales of series, you can regain HP or TP depending on the gummy's color.
You can access the medicine menu inside the item menu to use them.
Go to the room in the left (Dio's room). Directly south you will find an
Earing-F. I'd recommend to equip this on on Dio and the Ring-F on Mel. There are
another two treasure chests to north of the room, one containing the Fighter
Costume and another Change Costume item. Use the Changing brown closets to
change both Dio and Mel into the costume you prefer, I'd recommend to wear the
Squire costume on Dio and Mage/Fighter costume on Mel. Go out of Dio's room to
the right.
Finally go to the room in the north of the main room, Martel's room. When you
enter you will see a green fairy spirit appear for a brief moment. You can see
four different pictures in this room, but more of that later, go back to the
main room and try to get out of the house to the south. As you attempt to leave
the green fairy will appear again, she will introduce herself as Norn. She tells
you that you have a doomed destiny, but future can be changed. She tells you
that should go see the "Heroes", the first one is at the top of the tower. Dio
will get out of the house automatically after the scene.
================================================================================
===============
b. Witch Tower 4408 A.C. (Arche)
================================================================================
===============
You will now be on the world map, you can select which place you want to go by
moving the red cursor to the location you want to go and pressing A.
Before going to the tower you have to visit the villages because you need a
password to enter the tower.
I'd recommend you to start some side-quests this early (requests) because there
is a point in the game where you need to have a certain amount of requests done
in order to keep going with the main story. Fortunately they are not time
limited so you if you decide to do them later you can.
==================
- Valhalla Village
==================
SQ (#1) Happy Birthday
Go to Valhalla Village (the one to the north) and talk to the old woman with Red
Hood inside the house directly north from Costume store (the one with a shirt
logo above the door), who asks you to deliver a pie to her granddaughter. Go to
Olive Village to deliver the pie to the brown dressed girl inside the upper
right house of the village. She will give you a letter to give in return to her
grandmother. Return to Valhalla Village to give her grandmother (Red Hood old
woman) the letter. She will thank you and give you the Healer Costume, Title -01
Delivery Boy and 250 Gald.
SQ (#8) Mr. Slump
Go to Valhalla Village and talk to the man inside the northeastern most house
(above the house with an apple logo which is the food shop) He will tell you
that he is thinking of writing a song, so you have to help him clean his room,
pick up all the paper balls in the room by touching them. When you are done go
talk to him, he will say “Coming soon”. Get outside the house, re-enter and
surprise! The paper balls are there again, you will have to clean the paper
balls and talk to him when you are finished, repeat this process 8 times until
he asks you to choose a final phrase for the song, choose the default phrase
やくそく and accept with はい. After this he will give you the Title -08 Song Writer,
the Clown Costume and 400 Gald.
===============
- Olive Village
===============
Now we can keep up with the main story, go to Olive Village, as soon as you
enter, go north to find a girl in a yellow dress next to a bridge and talk to
her. She will tell you that there is an unusual girl living in the tower, and
asks you if you wanna know the password. Answer yes, and she will tell you the
password. Go out of Olive Village, now you can get inside the witch tower.
===============
- Witch's Tower
===============
When you arrive at the witch's tower Dio will use the password automatically,
but will fail, he's missing the girly touch with hearts and musical notes that
Mel has, Mel tries the password instead. The door will open, when you cross the
door you will get a tutorial about dungeons.
DUNGEON TUTORIAL!
Some tips and how dungeons work in this game.
Dungeons are either towers or caves with a specific number of floors, the last
floor is where the boss resides. The next to last floor always has a save spot,
a changing closet and an exit to return to the world map. Sometimes there will
be a changing closet halfway of the dungeon.
Dungeons are randomly generated, so unfortunately I can't make an exact guide of
what there is going to be on each floor.
On each floor you will find treasures, traps that may affect your status
(paralyze, poison, reduce HP or TP etc.), false floor traps that will drop you
to the floor below, causing you a great deal of damage, lots of random battles
and the most important thing that lets you proceed, the stairs that lead to the
next floor.
*Warning, if you step on the stairs to the next floor you can't go back to the
previous floor! So if you happen to find the stairs in the beginning of the
floor, consider grinding a little and finding treasures which is all better for
you in the end.
A list of tips I can give to you while being at dungeons:
1.- Do not run uncovering the map, because you will most likely fall on a trap.
2.- Open every chest you come across. If you already have 15 of that item, use
it if you can and then grab the new item inside that chest.
3.- Use random battles you encounter to collect Costume Points (CP) for each one
of your costumes for Dio and Mel.
4.- Use the start button to check on which floor you are in, and make sure to
master the costumes you are wearing before you get to the floor with the
changing closet, so you can change into another costume and collect CP for
another costume.
Now back to the tutorial the game actually gives you. You can display the map of
the floor you're in by pressing start. It will only display where you have
walked inside the dungeon.
The witch atop of the tower will tell you that you can talk to the animal
statues in this first room, they will give you tips such as the ones I already
pointed out before.
Open the treasure chest next to the stairs on the first floor to find a Wing
boot item. If you want to leave the dungeon at any point, you can use a Wing
boot to return to the World Map. Proceed to the next floor through the stairs.
This tower has 8 floors. Which means the save spot is on floor number 7 and
there is a changing closet on floor 4.
When you reach the 7th floor i'd recommend you exit the dungeon and re-enter the
tower so you have the chance to master all the costumes you own, repeat this as
many times you need. When you're ready use the stairs on the 7th floor and get
ready for your first boss battle.
*Remember that every time you leave a dungeon you will recover your HP and TP!
So you don't use all of your gummies when grinding and mastering costumes.
This boss battle will be bit harder than any of the fights you have encountered
until now, but if you have leveled up enough you should be fine. On this floor
Dio and Mel will find a girl with pink hair, Norn will appear before them and
call the girl Arche (She is one of the Eternal heroes from the original Tales of
Phantasia :D). Norn will tell Arche to test your strength so get ready.

Level: 10
HP: 740
TP: 50
Exp: 100
Gald: 76
Strong against : All magic 75%
Weak against : None
In this battle use Dio to attack or use physical skills, use Mel to heal either
using gummies or skills if you have done side quest #1 you should have the
Healer costume. Whenever you get any of your characters' HP below half use Mel
to heal and finally use Kuru to attack Arche as well with physical attacks,
repeat and in no time she will be down.
When you defeat her, Arche will tell you that you need to defeat 12 Spirits.
Then she will ask what you favorite food is, choose the default food which is
Misoden, just select はい. You will get the Arcana card 1:THE MAGICIAN.
Afterwards Dio an Mel will start talking to you directly and will be asking you
questions, the answers you give them depend on which attributes increase or
decrease from their attitudes. You can check the attitude topic in the Important
Points section. The Attitude bar does not affect your progress in the story or
the costumes you can wear, so do not worry too much about them right now.
Dio will ask you:
Do you believe in destiny?
Depending on which number you choose you will increase/decrease attitude stats.
1.- Believe in (will increase omoiyari)
2.- Don't believe in (will increase sunao)
3.- Believe in only the good thing (will increase hyoukin)
Then Mel will ask you:
What do you think about Arche?
1.- She is the greatest sorceress from the Eternal Heroes (will increase sunao)
2.- Just like Mel, I see a happy witch (will increase itawari)
3.- A long living half elf, has aged well <3 (will increase ochyame)
After this cutscene you will get warped back to Narikiri's House. You are now
able to travel through time with the help of the sun painting (Norn will point
at it with an arrow) located in the bottom left part of Martel's room. This
painting is a door to another space-time. Whenever you want to return to the
original space-time, talk to the goddess Martel statue in the middle of the
room.
Your next mission is to defeat 12 spirits throughout different timelines in the
world of Aselia. The first step is to find the first of the Eternal Heroes
Clark/Klarth.
But before using the sun painting let's do some side quests. It is very
important to go in the specified time, because from now on it can get a little
confusing.

- Valhalla Village 4408 A.C.
============================
If you check the important points section you can learn about how to synthesize
costumes, remember that you need to master the mentioned costumes to be able
synthesize the new one. I'd recommend you buy a new set of each costume every
time you synthesize so you still have them in case you need to synthesize again.
You can how to synthesize every costume in the Costumes Section.

============================
SQ (#5) A Door to your Heart
For this request you need to focus on the Attitude Bar status page. You can
check the important points section c) to learn more about this, but basically
here's how you can do it.
Wear the Thief Costume (Squire + Hunter) for 75 Gald. Go to any dungeon you like
so you can change the attitude with each battle. This will increase the Dark
attitude on Dio and the Mean attitude on Mel. After filling up these attitudes
to the max, change from the Thief Costume to the Healer Costume (Any costume +
Any costume) for 75 Gald. Having the Healer costume equipped changes the
Thoughtful (omoiyari) and Sympathetic (itawari), you can monitor these attitude
bars in the status menu for each character, after some fights the attitude will
change into (Worried). When you are sure you have the (Worried) attitude use a
wing boot to avoid changing the attitude within the last minute battles.
After this go to Valhalla Village in 4203 A.C. to the northern house, and talk
to the man in brown. He will ask you to talk to his son, talk to the boy with
green hair at the end of the house. As Mel has her attitude bar as (Worried),
she will be like the kid in green, so he will listen to you. When you talk to
him you will have various options to say to the kid. You can choose any option
you like, I chose number 3, the one where you will tell him that his mom would
want to see him better or something like that. After this he will give you a
Rebelius Badge, Title -05 Counsellor, the Dancer Costume and 500 Gald.
===========================
- Euclid Village 4203 A.C.
===========================
Finally! Now after many side quests we can go back to the main story! Remember
that the more costumes you have mastered, the easier it will be to have more
costumes and to be able to do more side quests. It is kind of a loop but it will
be worth it eventually I promise.
Now enter Euclid Village and go to the house located in the northeast of town,
once inside you will find a girl in a yellow dress called Mirald. Talk to her to
receive the Enemy Log, where you can check information of every enemy you have
encountered.
Now you to the end of the house and talk to the man in brown with a hat. Yes, it
is Klarth F. Lester from Tales of Phantasia! As soon as you start talking to
him, Norn will appear behind him. Norn will talk to him and disappear, then he
will tell you about the Dhaos war (event from ToP). Afterwards he will give you
the Wind Crest, that will let you open the doors to the next dungeon; Valley of
Wind. Before you go to the dungeon, I'd recommend you go to the item store in
Euclid Village (the house with the lamp logo above the door) and buy items such
as Earing-E (raise attack) and Ring-E (raise defense). For this next side quest
you need to enter the Valley of Wind to complete it so let's start it before
entering the Valley of Wind.

This cave has 9 floors. Which means the save spot is on floor number 8 and there
is a changing closet on floor 4. After the 4th floor you can start looking for
the flower for SQ (#6), if you come across the stairs going down, make sure you
check every corner of the floor for the flower before you go down.
*Remember to grab every chest on each floor and to be careful with traps on the
floor!
When you reach the 8th floor same as always i'd recommend you exit the dungeon
and re-enter the tower so you can master more costumes you own, repeat this as
many times you need. When you're ready use the stairs on the 8th floor and get
ready for the boss battle.
At the bottom of the cave you will see the wind symbol on the floor and at the
very end you will find the wind spirit Sylph. I would recommend you to be over
level 15 and to have lots of gels to replenish HP & TP.

can be beaten in any order you like. But let's finish SQ #6 and deliver that
flower you found.
SQ (#6) A Flower (2nd part)
Go back to Valhalla to the northwestern house and give Memory the flower, she
will tell you to talk to her mother on the bed. The old woman will tell you the
story behind her telling you that she was a bad mother and she used that flower
to make some kind of poison, nevertheless she wanted her daughter to think good

have an advantage over Gnome as he is weak to wind attacks. To be honest I used
other costumes like the Wind Knight or even the Fencer with Dio and a heal type
costume such as Priestess for Mel. Every time each of your characters makes a

a turn with the automatic attacks they could make.

5.0 Tower of Druaga
================================================================================
===============
To unlock Tower of Druaga you have to finish the game, as when you finish you
get all of the Arcana Cards (22), which are the cards you get every time you
defeat a boss. It will appear on 4408 A.C. on the top left corner.
To be able to open the door you have to go to Valhalla Village in 4408 A.C. and
go to the 3rd house from the left in the northern part of town. Inside talk to
the woman dressed in red, she will give you the Gil and Ki Costumes. Equip both
costumes respectively on Dio and Mel and enter the Tower of Druaga to open the
door inside. I am not entirely sure you need to have them equipped, but just to
be sure, anyway these two costumes are pretty powerful.
Here I enlist my recommendations for this extra dungeon.
Ok first of all this is a war you have to fight with a lot of patience, I'd
recommend you to go to the store in Valhalla Village 4354 A.C. and stock up on
every TP item you can, you WILL need them, as you will be entering the largest
dungeon of them all, 60 floors!
How this dungeon works:
This tower of Druaga like the one in Tales of Destiny, consists of 60 floors.
Your objective is to get to the top floor by getting the blue, green and red
crystal rods, so you get to fight Druaga. To do that you will need to follow
these steps:
- Confront and defeat in battle every physical enemy there is on each floor, you
can know how many enemies will spawn at the Ready Player One screen you get
before starting each floor. Random battles will still happen and do not work to
reduce the enemy count. So make sure you fight the physical ones.
- After defeating all of the enemies that are physically on that floor, a
treasure chest will appear (sort of aqua green color). Collect that chest by
touching it. Floor number one is an example of how the tower works and you only
have to beat one green slime to get the treasure chest to appear.
- Find the brown door that leads to the next floor.
WARNING! You can access the brown door at anytime, I highly recommend to COLLECT
EVERY CHEST that appears after defeating all enemies. Because there are floors
that will zap you back to a lower floor if you do not possess specific items
inside those treasure chests. I can guarantee that you NEED the green (Floor
38), red (Floor 48) and blue (Floor 58) crystal rods to get to the end, but as
you need to level up I recommend you get every chest just to make sure you don't
get zapped back to a lower floor.
As everything in this Tales game is randomly generated, how the floor is
constructed, monsters that appear, the location of the door which will lead you
upstairs, and the location of the treasure chest that spawns after defeating all
enemies will be random, so there are no maps or strategies against that.
Checkpoint Floors:
These floors will zap you back to a random lower floor if you do not have every
treasure chest from the previous floors. After going through both doors, phew!
you will have access to a save point, an exit, the treasure chest from that
floor, don't forget to grab it! and the door to the next floor.
I do not know yet if they change every time you enter but I got checkpoint
Floors on floors 9, 22, 35, 40, 43, 49 and 58. The last one will have a Changing
Closet.
You can check which items you have collected in the Items menu under the Special
menu and selecting the Treasure Memo (TrsrMemo).
When you get to the final floor (59) You will fight Druaga, you need to equip
the Gil and Kai Costumes to be able to fight it.
Equipment:
I suggest you have the following equipment:
Dio - Heihachi Costume - Earing B (Very Strong)
Mel - Mint Costume - Ring B (Very Tough)
Kuru - Gigakuru (LV8)* - Scraf B (Very Fast)
*Remember that Kuru's form changes depending on Dio and Mel's attitude, if you
wear Mint and Heihachi's there will be a point where Kuru will change it's form
to Gigakuru you can equip an Eternal Badge on Dio to stop de attitude change so
that you will stay with Gigakuru for the whole dungeon.
Strategy:
Ok I will recommend the strategy what worked for me, as this is a very hard
extra dungeon and you could die in every single battle if you are not careful
enough, I cannot guarantee you will not lose a couple of times as it is HARD but
I hope this tips will help you get through it.
- Start by being at the very least at level 80. If you are not there yet you can
use the first floors of this dungeon to level up and use a Wingboot to exit the
dungeon, restock and repeat.
- Set up the Tactics in the Tact Menu like this:
Mel - Heal - This way Mel will use the Resurrect Skill (Heal all party members)
on almost every turn.
Kuru - Attack - This will save TP for Kuru in case you don't react fast enough
to tell it to do otherwise it is better to have him attack as it can consume it
really fast.
- Watch your environment before you even move so you can avoid unnecessary hard
enemy battles, so think twice before going for a chest (red normal ones) that
might have an item not worth the fights to get to it.
- Check your map as many times as possible before moving in the wrong direction.
- Don't run unless you are certain you will not fall into a trap.
- Focus on finding the physical enemies, the door and the chest at the end of
each floor.
- If you do open red chests that contain items you can not carry anymore, use
that item on the party member that needs it the most or the one that you can use
it on and then grab the chest.
- Try to keep your Gummies above 10 or so, but specially TP Gummies so you can
make it to the end with all of your party members with TP points specially
prioritize Mel who needs to heal every single battle.
- Heal your party members manually to at least 1700HP after every battle, so
they can take in 2 or 3 spells from the next battle if luck is by our side.
Either use Mel's First Aid to save TP or Gummies.
Enemies:
Enemies have certain strengths and weaknesses, so use you skills wisely to avoid
getting killed in a single battle. Most of them have elemental attributes
associated to their color so Blue = Water, Green = Wind, Red = Fire and so on.
- Slime Enemies:
They are weak against Kuru's Firestorm (even red ones) so use it at the
beginning of the turn.
Use Resurrect with Mel. Mel will occasionally use Rainstar so just make sure you
know when to order her to heal so you don't get defeated.
Use Attack or Fujinken for Dio to save TP.
- Knight Enemies:
They are also weak against Kuru's Firestorm so use it on every turn.
Use Attack or Fujinken for Dio to save TP.
Use Resurrect with Mel. Mel will occasionally use Rainstar so just make sure you
know when to order her to heal so you don't get defeated.
- Mage Enemies:
Hard ones! Use Kuru's Time stop on one of them (It unfortunately fails sometimes
but it is better than attacking them because Kuru's Firestorm is weak against
them). If Kuru misses and Mel does heal you in time repeat same strategy.
Use Dio's Super blow Skill on the same enemy you Stopped with Kuru. This way you
will kill one and leave one alive so they can't spam you with their spells that
frequently and Mel has the chance to heal. After one of the mages is defeated
use Super blow again on the other one so they can hurt you the less possible.
Use Resurrect with Mel. Mel will occasionally use Rainstar so just make sure you
know when to order her to heal so you don't get defeated.
- Ropper Enemies:
They are also weak against Kuru's Firestorm so use it on every turn.
Use Attack or Fujinken for Dio to save TP.
Use Resurrect with Mel. Mel will occasionally use Rainstar so just make sure you
know when to order her to heal so you don't get defeated.
- Ghost Enemies:
Hard ones! Use Kuru's Time stop on one of them.
Use Dio's Raiznken Skill (Electric attack) on the same enemy you Stopped with
Kuru. This way you will kill one and leave one alive so they can't spam you with
their spells that frequently and Mel has the chance to heal. After one of the
mages is defeated use Raiznken again on the other one so they can hurt you the
less possible. Kuru's Firestorm also works so use it after you have defeated the
first Ghost enemy.
Use Resurrect with Mel. Mel will occasionally use Rainstar so just make sure you
know when to order her to heal so you don't get defeated.
- Will O' Wisp Enemies:
They are also weak against Kuru's Firestorm so use it on every turn.
Use Attack or Fujinken for Dio to save TP.
Use Resurrect with Mel. Mel will occasionally use Rainstar so just make sure you
know when to order her to heal so you don't get defeated.
- Dragon/Lizard Enemies:
They are basically immune to Kuru's Firestorm so don't use it let Kuru attack
normally on these enemies.
Use Fujinken or Raiznken with Dio to defeat them quicker.
Use Resurrect with Mel. Mel will occasionally use Rainstar so just make sure you
know when to order her to heal so you don't get defeated.
- Fake Ishta:
Just be careful of her Petrification Move, use Recover Skill with Mel and
Panacea Bottles, asied from that, she is not that hard.
Use Kuru's Firestorm on every turn.
Use Fujinken for Dio to save TP.
Use Resurrect with Mel. Mel will occasionally use Rainstar so just make sure you
know when to order her to heal so you don't get defeated.
She drops the Broch-A equipment item.
- Druaga:
You will have to wear the Gil and Ki Costumes to fight it at floor 59. This is
just insane I swear I'd say it is impossible but I did it in the end, You just
have to pray and wish goodness is really on your side and the odds are with you.
But the only strategy I can recommend is that you should use Gil's Double Attack
Skill and Big Bang Skill with Mel every turn for maximum damage, unless you are
badly hurt make them use healing items such as gold gummies. If one of your
party members falls, focus on healing the remaining ones first and then use Life
Bottles hoping that when they get revived they do not die. Make Kuru use
Firestorm whenever you have full health, if not use him to cure party members
with gold gummies while Mel and Dio are attacking. I really wish you luck on
this one!
The best of luck and patience to you, use the NAEDI principle (Nice and easy
does it) and may the Goddess Martel be with you!

6.0 Costumes
================================================================================
===============
This list consists of the fastest way to synthesize every costume, and the price
for it. It is not the only way to create them. Have fun trying other
combinations.
*Note* Some Costumes have a minimum number of Costumes mastered requirement
besides the specific costumes they need to be synthesized. They will have a
(CAN'T) legend instead of the CP needed to master it. When you press A button
while selecting it in a closet menu, a display will show which are the
requirements needed, an X or a O will be on the left of the costume name you
need to master. And the minimum costume number will be displayed on the bottom
part of the screen like this:
<REQ: MASTERED (Shirt Logo)>
- X (For costumes you haven't mastered)
- O (For costumes you have mastered)
REQ: L-EXP = (Number of costumes you need to master) MORE
For example Cress and Mint Costumes need to have mastered 40 different costumes
before you can use them.
