1.0 Overview
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Released following the release of 1999's Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom
Menace, Obi-Wan's Adventures sought to cash in on the popularity of the movie
with the younger group of video game players. The result was a surprisingly
simply yet fun Jedi action game that brought to life all the great parts of the
film together in a small handheld design.
In Obi-Wan's Adventures you'll play through nine entertaining levels that
follow the storyline of the movie all of which are played from the point of
view of the young Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi. His quest starts with a bizarre trade
embargo and leads him where he never thought possible...
~~~~~~~~~
Weapons
~~~~~~~~~
Available to Obi-Wan is a small but effective arsenal.
Lightsaber
~~~~~~~~~~

The lightsaber is the most trusted tool for the Jedi. Can be used to slice
through droid, grates and objects with ease and using reflexes Obi-Wan can
block laser bolts and even direct them back to the shooter.

Pros: Powerful, never runs out of ammo.

Cons: requires you to get up close with your enemies.

Blaster
~~~~~~~
Obi-Wan's blaster lets him shoot back at all those nasty droid. It's not as
civilized as his lightsaber but has its uses.
Pros: Attack enemies from safe distance
Cons: Requires ammo which can be depleted.
Force Push
~~~~~~~~~~

The Force is always there for a Jedi. Use this to push enemies away or move
objects.

Pros: Like the blaster, lets Obi-Wan attack from a distance. Can be used to
move objects that block the way.

Cons: Excessive use of the Force can tire Obi-Wan(think Ammo)

Items
~~~~~
Scattered across the levels are a few select items that can help Obi-Wan on his
adventures.
Health: little floating yellow and red crosses. Fills three of the ten slots in
Obi-Wan's life meter.
Force recharge: appears like floating atoms of energy. Fills one of the ten
slots in Obi-Wan's Force power meter.
Blaster Ammo: appears like a floating blaster. Gives Obi-Wan an additional 10
shots with his blaster.
Enemies
~~~~~~~

Battle droids: simple and stupid. They are easily killed by two hits with Obi-
Wan's lightsaber or two shots of a blaster; yours or you can block their shots
back to them. A simple force push is enough to disable these smaller droids as
well.

Droideka: larger, shielded droids. They fire to bolts per shot and at a quicker
rate. Have shields which activate when they are in danger so you need to kill
them quickly or run away. Droidekas can be destroyed with two lightsaber hits
to the unshielded droid or seven to eight hits to overload the shields. Also
four blaster shots to the unshielded droid or seven to eight shots to overload
the shields are enough to destroy these droids.

TIP: When you run these enemies follow you so it's easy to get one to shoot the
other by moving it into the path of another's shots.

Peko Peko's: pink birds native to the Naboo swamp. Circle and try to attack
you. Best defense is to swing your lightsaber until you connect with the bird.

STAPS: "Single Trooper Ariel Platform" Battle droid driven flying machines that
allow them to fire quickly and move even faster. Shoot at them from a distance
with your blaster rifle to kill them.

Mines: bombs that kill you instantly in the water if you touch them. Can be
used to clear debris.

Thugs: they roam the levels of Coruscant looking for trouble. Twice as strong
as the Battle droids, they attack with staffs that are capable of blocking your
lightsaber; they require four hits from the lightsaber and twice as many shots
with the blaster.

Thug Leaders: same look and attack of the thugs but appear purple and require a
few more hits. Same strategy to beat them.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.1 Level 1: The Trade Federation Ship                            Password: n/a
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Trade Federation has blockaded the peaceful trade planet of Naboo.
Chancellor Valorum, leader of the Galactic Republic senate, has dispatched two
Jedi Knights to try and bring a peaceful end to this problem before it
escalates.
Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi are the knights chosen to head to
the Trade Federation capital ship and negotiate for the release of Naboo.
Minutes after arriving, their ship is destroyed and their lives ordered to be
ended by a hidden Sith Lord name Darth Sidious who is the true mastermind
behind this blockade. Sensing danger as their ship was destroyed the two Jedi
leap to their feet...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Qui-Gon: "The negotiations would seem to have broken down, my young Padawan
learner.

"We must reach the hangar to escape, and warn the planet of the danger! It is
time at last to test your skills, Obi-Wan!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Enemies: Battle droids, Droideka
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Obi-Wan starts out at the end of a hallway that goes forward towards the
Northeast until it opens into a large room with fans in the floor so let's hed
to the opening of this hallway now.  At the opening of the hallway you start
out in you can go either left or right to find two smaller dead-end areas; the
path to the left ends with a small room guarded by two battle droids where you
will find some blaster ammo and the path to the right ends in a small room
whose opening is guarded by a single battle droid behind which you will find a
Force recharge.

After collecting these items head back to the opening into the larger room. In
this room you will encounter three battle droids. The game will lock you into
fighting them so kill them quickly and continue to head forward to the
northeast into a small hallway that opens up into another large room with a
door on the northeast wall guarded by two battle droids. The switch to open the
door is to the left of door. Dispatch the droid, hit the switch and enter the
next section through the door.

You'll come into a hallway that stretches vertically across the screen. After
entering you will immediately be attacked by a Droideka who is guarding passage
to the left part of the hallway. If you decide to kill the Droideka you will
find two health refills in the small room to the left guarded by a single
battle droid. If you don't need the health then right down the hallway,
dispatch the battle droid guarding the door, hit the switch and enter the next
area.

As you enter this area you will be attacked by a Droideka who is guarding a
hallway that goes up toward the north. Following this guarded hallway will take
you to a small, unguarded room with blaster ammo ready for you. If you need the
ammo then go ahead and kill the Droideka and head on up to grab it. Otherwise
head straight forward from the entrance to this area into a larger room. In the
middle of this room is a switch located to the right on the wall. This switch
opens the door at the end of the room and is located before you hit the two
fans in the floor. At the end of this room is another Droideka and two battle
droids guarding the door you just opened with the switch. You can kill all the
enemies but if you are quick you can grab the ammo, hit the switch and enter
the next area without being shot once. Decide what you want to do but make your
way to the next area through the door.

You'll come into a small red room with a door being blocked by a green laser
grid and a switch on each wall all of which is guarded by a single Droideka in
the center of the room. You will need to destroy this droid before attempting
to disable the laser grid so do that now. After killing the Droideka you need
to hit the switches in the proper order to deactivate the laser grid. You need
to hit the left, right then north switch; hitting any of the switches out of
order will result in Obi-Wan being thrown back and the whole process will have
to be repeated. Once you got the laser grid down then go through the door into
the next area.

Kill the battle droid that attacks then take in your surroundings. The room you
occupy now is a very large hanger with three conveyor belts that run
horizontally through the room; there are two green belts that run right to left
on the top and bottom of the room with a red belt that runs the opposite
direction separating them. There are boundaries set up on the belt to act like
a maze all of which is guarded by battle droids on patrol. Get on the red belt
and ride it to the first boundary. Move up to the green belt and move along it
to the right until you hit another boundary; making sure to kill the battle
droids and avoid the four turrets firing at you from the wall. Go around this
boundary and get back on the green belt. Follow it to the right until the very
end and then move south past the red belt to get on the lower green belt.
Follow it all the way left, killing or avoiding the battle droids until you hit
a boundary with a door guarded by two battle droids behind it. Get off the
belt, kill the droids and enter the door.

The next room is a smaller vent room with three battle droids on patrol. You'll
notice two of them guarding a vent that is off. Get rid of all the droids and
then use your lightsaber to cut open the vent and enter the ventilation system.

The ventilation system is a big maze with plenty of dead-ends so pay attention
here. Right as you enter the system a battle droid will attack you so dispatch
of it. Using the map below make your way to the exit of the ventilation system
to enter the next area being careful of the stray battle droid. When you hit
the exit there will be two of them guarding the way The X's denote electrified
flooring which needs to be avoided by jumping or sprinting across, 1-6 denote
items and the B's denote boxes that block your way; these must be destroyed
with the Force.

Upon exiting the ventilation system you will be in a large room with most of
the floor being electrified. The floor panels turn on and off and you must walk
on the spots that are currently off otherwise you'll be one toasty Jedi. Each
set has three different patterns. You can study the charts below for help; X's
are one and O's are off.

Right as you enter there will be a lone battle droid. Kill it and then make
your way across the electrified panel; grabbing the health if you need it once
you make it across. North of the health recharge is another vent. Cut through
it with your lightsaber and enter.

You'll emerge in another ventilation room with a single battle droid on patrol.
Kill it then hit the switch and head on through the door to enter a large
computer room. To your right near the hologram of Naboo is a health recharge
and some blaster ammo. Ahead of that is a Force Recharge with the door to the
next area to the right. If you move towards the middle of the room you will be
forced to battle three battle droids to continue on so do that now then hit the
switch and go through the door to complete the level.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.2 Level 2: The Trade Federation Landing Craft                 Password: BQVQK
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan witness an invasion army getting ready to deploy and have
decided they need to warn the Naboo. Their ship is destroyed and they are being
hunted so they decide to stow away on separate landing craft and meet on the
surface.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Qui-Gon: "Obi-Wan you must force this ship to land! First you must destroy the
Repulsor Field Generators, and from there proceed to the Control Center."

"From there you should be able to disable the ship's main guidance console."

"Be mindful of the Force, it will prove a great ally."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Enemies: Battle droids, Droidekas
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You start this level in an empty cargo room with two boxes blocking your exit.
Use the Force to move them out of the way and proceed into the next room. Here
you will face a Droideka and two battle droids who are guarding the door and
switch. Dispose of the enemies, hit the switch and enter the next room.

In this area you will find the first of the Repulsor Field Generators along
with a security turret in the middle of the ground that is firing at you. The
Generator is too strong for your weapons but not for the turret. You must get
the turret to shoot the Generator three times to destroy it. Best way is to
stand in front of it until the turret is aimed at you and then jump away. It's
easy. When the Generator is destroyed avoid the turret and head through the
door to the next area.

You'll come out in a large room swarming with battle droids. To the right of
the door you just came from are two more doors; each leading to one of the
remaining Repulsor Field Generators. To the left along the wall and behind some
boxes is a Health Recharge and a Force Recharge and in the far east corner is
the door to the next area which is surrounded by a orange laser grid. You have
to destroy the remaining Generators to lower the grid. Head into the first door
to the right and destroy the Generator the same way as before then head back
out and into the last door.

This one is a little different. The Generator is along the right wall but the
turret isn't firing. You need to hit the three switches on the left wall in the
correct order to turn the turret on then destroy the Generator. You need to hit
the far right, then the far left then the middle one to activate the turret.
After it's firing just destroy the Generator and head back out of this room
into the main area.

Now that the grid is lowered you can hit the switch and go on through the door
to enter a large brown area with electrified floors and a battle droid that
will start firing at you instantly; much like the first level. Kill the droid
and look around. You'll notice a large gray circle that is on a rail. Using
your lightsaber you can hit it repeatedly to get over to the door on the left
most part of the area or you can just jump over all the electrified floors. I
suggest jumping because if you aren't quick the circle can come back and hit
you taking damage. Once you make it to the left part of the room kill the two
battle droids guarding the door and enter to the next area.

You'll come out into a darker area with another of the on rail circles. On the
rail ahead of it are three boxes that block your path. You need to hit the
circle with your lightsaber and bounce it all the way up the rail until the
boxes are destroyed. Be careful though to time your hits right or the damn
thing will knock Obi-Wan back at the cost of some health. Once the boxes are
destroyed then kill the two battle droids who are patrolling near some fans
then you will find another rail that is blocked with boxes. Clear the rail the
same way as before using the space in the wall to avoid being hit. Once the
rail is clear head on up where you see the Droideka rolling around. Destroy it
and then keep heading left until the room opens up into a large space with a
square rail going around it. To the left most part of the room is more
electrified floor with two battle droids guarding the way to the next area. IF
you need it then grab the health recharge in the lower right corner of area
otherwise just head on to the next area.

Head on up until you spot a blue circle with an arrow in it on the ground.
Stepping in this will make Obi-Wan do a Force fueled in the direction of the
arrow. To navigate the area you need to use these to reach different parts.
Use the first jump, grab the Health Recharge on this platform being careful of
the flooring and then take the jump aimed at the south. Grab the blaster ammo
on the right part of this platform then continue left until you spot a jump
aimed towards the north. Take it to land on the next platform. Right ahead of
you will be a health recharge but save it until after you beat that Droideka
that just started shooting at you. Once the Droideka is dead grab the Health
Recharge, hit the switch for the door at then end and enter to the next area.

You'll see three battle droids guarding a jump to the north. Kill them and take
the jump to land on another platform guarded by five battle droids. Kill them,
head north until you are attacked by two Droidekas which you need to dispatch
then head to the computer terminal underneath the view port and destroy it with
your lightsaber to complete the level.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Qui-Gon: "The ship has lost control, Obi-Wan! Hold Tight!"
"A bumpy landing, my Padawan learner."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.3 Level 3: The Naboo Swamp                                    Password: WNLRM
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan have made it to the surface and now need to meet up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Qui-Gon: "Rendezvous with me at the edge of the swamp Obi-Wan, and take care,
the swamp is alive and teeming with Trade Federation Battle Droids. Hurry!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Enemies: Battle droids, Peko Peko's
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Right as you start there will be two battle droids and a Peko attacking you.
Get rid of them to get a little breather then move to the jump aimed towards
the east. Take this jump to land among yet two more battle droids and another,
not moving, Peko. Slice and dice these guys, grab the health recharge to the
south and then head between the sets of trees to the north to get to the next
area.
You'll be attacked by a lone battle droid right away. Kill him then move left
and empty the level of the rest of the patrolling battle droids and Pekos then
take the jump that is aimed to the east to get over the fallen tree and land
amongst two more battle droids and another Peko. Beyond them to the left is two
more battle droids in front of a large turret. Kill them or skip them just make
your way past the turret to the next area.
Dispatch of the three battle droids you encounter right away then continue left
until you spot a rock bridge across a ravine. Patrolling the air around the
bridge is a STAP who will try to push you off to you death. Get rid of the STAP
with your blaster then carefully cross the bridge making sure not to take a
trip off and die. The rocks of the bridge pull a Mario and fall after a few
second of Jedi on them so again be careful and quick.
Kill the two battle droids patrolling here then keep on heading left until you
spot another rock bridge. This one will require some jumping but be quick and
you'll be fine. In between this bridge and another is a small alcove of land
with two battle droids and a Health Recharge. Kill them if you need it or just
run past them and across the bridge. Once across the bridge get rid of the
three battle droids on patrol while avoiding the turrets fire. Move into the
space between the trees to the left of the turret to reach the next area.
IN this area you'll notice a small base and three battle droids on patrol. TO
the south of the smaller building is a health recharge but it's guarded by a
small turret so if you need it then you have to move quickly. Get rid of the
droids or just avoid them, run past the turret fire and continue straight left
until you get to the next area. In this small area just make your way across
the bridge with a few well timed jumps and run straight on through to the left
to complete the level.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.4 Level 4: Naboo Swamp and Sacred Place                       Password: SDGNK
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Obi-Wan meets up with Qui-Gon who has meet a local named Jar-Jar Binks. Jar-Jar
is a clumsy oaf but means well but doesn't really like to be in danger.
Reluctantly Jar-Jar agrees to aid the Jedi in their mission to warn the Naboo;
it turns out that Jar-Jar was banished from the city due to his clumsiness and
is never to return but after some persuasion he sees things the Jedi way. Jar-
Jar takes the two Jedi to the underwater Gungan City where Qui-Gon manages to
not only convinces the leader, Boss Nass, to give him a transport to take to
the Naboo but also to spare Jar-Jar's life after Nass proclaims his intention
to punish him for returning. Binks will act as the Jedi guide through the
planet core to reach Theed; the Capitol of the Naboo. The two Jedi and Binks
head out in the Bongo.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Qui-Gon: "This Gungan craft will ease our progress Obi-Wan, but me mindful,
there is still danger ahead!"
"Once we are through, we must warn the Naboo and then proceed at once to
Coruscant, the capital of the Republic."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Enemies: Battle droids,  Droidekas, Mines
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You'll now control the Bongo which controls just the same really minus the
ability to jump. Right as you start use the canons to blast away two battle
droids to your right then continue forward and to the left; blowing up the two
droids on the left bank. Continue forward to get to the next area.
Right away you will be ambushed by four battle droids. Use the ships canons or
the Force to do away with them quickly and continue to the left; killing or
skipping the last two droids that will shoot at you from the banks. Head left
into the next area.
In this area kill the first two battle droids to the right and left then
continue to the left slowly. There are now mines in the river that will kill
you instantly so you need to avoid them. Once you hit the tree blocking your
path use the Force to push a mine into it to clear a path for the bongo.
Continue through the remains of the tree to the left where you will be ambushed
by six battle droids. Kill the ones on the shore to your left first then finish
the others to continue to the next area.
Once in the next area quickly blast the battle droid in front of you and
continue north and then to the east. At this part of the area there will be
turrets shooting you from the shores and battle droids all around. You can't
destroy the turrets so it's bets to avoid them and make all speed toward the
next area. Past the second turret is another mine that you must use to clear
the debris from the river to continue so do that and head left to the next
area.
Things are getting tense. In this area Droidekas are brought in to try and stop
the Jedi. The next two areas are quite simple. You need only avoid all the
turret fire and droids while you make your way north. Do this twice to reach
the last area. Here you will be attacked by four battle droids. Kill them and
then head through the gate and the end of the river to complete the level.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

3.5 Level 5: Coruscant                                          Password: CNLML
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Jedi manage to reach the Naboo and free Queen Amidala. Qui-Gon knows the
only change the planet has is to plead their case to the Senate so the Jedi
free a few pilots and take off with the Queen in a cruiser headed to Coruscant;
the capitol of the Republic. They push their way through the blockade but take
heavy damage and are forced to land on a small Planet named Tatooine. There
Qui-Gon meets a young boy named Anakin Skywalker who agrees to help them by
winning a Pod-Race thus giving the Jedi the means to get the parts the need and
finally make it to Naboo. Unknown to the Jedi is a Sith threat named Darth Maul
who was dispatched by Sidious to find the Queen and bring her back to Naboo.
The race is won and Qui-Gon manages to free Anakin in the hopes this gifted
child would one day be a Jedi. One the way back to the ship the Sith Lord Darth
Maul attacks but Qui-Gon manages to escape with Anakin and the rest of the
company on board the cruiser. Finally they are headed to Coruscant.
Enemies: Thugs, Thug leaders
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You'll start out in front of two thugs in the middle of the city. Kill or avoid
these two and continue on around and to the south where three more thugs will
ambush you. You must kill them to get to the next part of the area. When they
are dead continue forward where you will have to fight two more thugs. When
they are dead grab the Health Recharge in the lower right corner and then
continue north where you will be forced to fight a thug leader. After he is
dead continue forward to the next area.

Go forward and kill the two thugs then continue to you see the first door to
your right. Enter this warehouse, kill the thug then destroy the box toward the
back for a Health Recharge. Go back out to the street and continue forward
where the street will open up into a very large area with a street forking to
the left and right. Continue forward past this and into the next area.

Kill the two thugs in your way, continue forward and then kill the next two
that attack you. Continue forward past the red banners and then kill the Thug
and thug leader that stop you. Damn, you'd think they'd learn not to mess with
a Jedi but I guess not. After these two are dead you can continue forward to
the next area.

More thugs; three and a thug leader will be in your way. This could be bad so
skip them, hit the switch one of them is guarding and enter the building
through the newly opened glass doors.

Inside the building you will immediately spot two thugs. Kill them, grab the
Force recharge in the upper left corner and then continue further into the
building. There are a lot of thugs and thug leaders walking around so avoid
them by taking the jumps between the shrubs, making sure to grab the Force
recharges if you need them, all the way you the other side. Grab the blaster
ammo in the lower right corner then avoid the thugs while you hit the switch on
the elevator to the north and then enter the elevator.

Once outside the elevator kill the two thugs patrolling the lobby and then take
the jump that is aimed towards the south to grab the Health Recharges then head
back to the lobby and take the jump aimed to the east. Take care of the thugs
when you land and then continue east then down the walkway; jumping over the
steam that is spilling from the pipe to the left. Grab the Force recharge to
your left and then continue on to your right along the walkway until you hit a
dead end. From here you need to travel north, past two more steam leaks until
you spot a thug leader guarding a jump and a Force recharge; grab it then run
around the thug leader and take the jump the east.

You'll land on a small platform with a single thug walking around. Kill him if
you want then take the jump to the east; making sure to grab the other Force
recharge if you need it. On the next platform is another Force Recharge and a
jump to the east. Take this jump to land on a walkway that will lead to the
next area.

In this area follow the small walkway past the steam link and on to a smaller
platform with a Force Recharge and a jump the east. Take the jump after
grabbing the Force Recharge. Land on the platform then take the walkway to the
east until you hit a platform guarded by two thugs. Kill or skip them; take the
walkway to the south back east that loops to a platform with a thug leader and
a Health recharge. Skip the leader but grab the health then continue along the
walkway south to the lobby of another elevator. Skip the two thugs guarding,
hit the switch and enter the elevator.

You'll emerge in the streets again. Run past the patrolling thugs and leaders
then head up the stairs to the north to complete the level.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the Senate proved not helpful, Queen Amidala has decided to return to
Naboo and save her people herself. The Jedi Council has put the decision on
Anakin on hold and has ordered Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan to go with the Queen to
protect her. They arrive on Naboo and manage to convince the Gungans to help.
As the Gungans prepare to distract the Trade Federation army the Jedi, the
Queen and her people head into the city of Theed to capture the Viceroy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Qui-Gon: "Obi-Wan, the city must be liberated. We will be able to infiltrate it
through the secret entrance to the ancient catacombs."

"I entrust the mission of creating a safe passage to you, remember the Queen is
not a Jedi, you must find an easy route for the rest of us to take."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Enemies: Battle droids, STAPS, Peko Peko's
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As you start head east, kill the battle droid and avoid the STAP on patrol. The
path will eventually start to go up hill then fork west. Grab the blaster ammo
and continue west along the path going up hill; kill the three battle droids on
you way left while avoiding another STAP. Continue on to the next area.

Grab the Force Recharge by the entrance to this area then go ahead and take the
jump that points west, grab the Force Recharge when you land, kill the droid on
the left of the jump pointing north then take that jump up to the higher ledge.
Up on the ledge grab yet another Force Recharge and then use the Force to grab
the rock and then hit down on the D-Pad to make the rock tumble down and fill
the gap below. Jump back down using the jump pointing to the south and continue
in the direction where that battle droid was that you dispatched; past and
underneath the waterfall.

At a point where you see blaster ammo and a Health recharge then path will
start to move uphill and back to the east again so grab the items if you need
them and continue up hill. While you trek up this part of the hill you have to
dodge the falling rocks as the will kill you instantly. Once you reach the
summit of the hill cut through the growth with your lightsaber to continue on
to the next area. Continue forward past more falling rocks and back out to the
other part of the catacombs.

Back out on another hill more rocks will be falling. Head on forward to the
east and you'll notice the beginning of some ruins which open up in the new
area to the east. Enter there now.

Inside the ruins continue left where you will be attacked by two Pekos. Kill
them, smash the container for a health recharge and then continue right and
grab the Force recharge then through the door to the next area.

Outside the door kill the lone battle droid and grab the two Force recharges if
you need them. To the right will be more falling rocks you need to maneuver
through with a jump to the east right beyond them. Take that jump to land near
the entrance to the next area guarded by three battle droids. Kill them, break
open the right container for a Health Recharge if you need it then continue on
through the door.

Inside this area you will find narrow walkways with many boulders guarding the
way. The goal here is to use the Force to move the rocks to complete a bridge
to the left and then use a rock to hit a switch which will open a locked door
outside. The order you need to move them is below; follow them so you don't run
out of Force power trying to do it yourself

1. Move the first rock to the west once.
2. Move the second rock that west once to make it land on a switch.
3. Head back to the first rock was and head north until you spot a second rock.
Move this one to the east once, then to the south once. It will come to rest on
near the rock that we put on the switch. Finally move that rock to the west
once more to fill the first spot for the bridge.
4. Go back to the first rock we moved and move it to the north once, to the
west once, south once, and west once and then south once to make it rest
against the rock on the switch. Like the other one, send it west to complete
the bridge.
5. Move the rock that we set on the first switch south once, west once, north
once then finally west one more time to make it land across the bridge we made
on a second switch. This will open the door we needed.

Kill the two battle droids guarding the door if you want but then head back to
where we grabbed the northern rock and go through the newly opened door.

In the new area defeat the battle droid that comes rushing toward you then loot
the containers for Health Recharges. On the northern wall are two doors. Enter
the second one by cutting through the debris that block it and enter the room.
Kill the two thugs and then smash all the containers to grab the Force
Recharges and Blaster Ammo. Head back out and cut your way into the first room
and kill then two battle guards, use the jump to grab the Force Refill then
exit back over the jump and the way you come in. Head back out and into the
last remaining door to the right. Inside you will be greeted with a floor made
up of panels with different pictures on it. You need to walk on the correct
panels or fall to your death. You can attempt trial and error or refer to the
map below; X's denote where you need to step.

you want or avoid them; either way head through the door in the top right
corner to finish this level.

must assault the palace to rescue her."

"However, a great many citizens have been captured and require our help.
Proceed along the west side of the city freeing everyone you can."
"Take great care though, you must not allow this people to be endangered either
by Trade Federation weapons or by your own mid-judgment."

"We also require some way of entering the palace grounds...a Trade Federation
Assault tank perhaps? Find where one is stored. Good luck, my Padawan learner."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Enemies: Battle droids, Droidekas, STAPS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As you start this level run forward avoiding the STAP but dispatching the three
battle droids that stand in your way. After those are dead round the corner and
there will five more battle droids; two on patrol and three standing guard to
the door for the next area. Run past the two on patrol and destroy the middle
on guard and head through the door. You skip the others so they don't tear you
apart with their lasers.

In the next area head forward, kill the lone battle droid and then rush forward
and rescue the first citizen from four battle droids around him. Be careful not
to hurt the citizen; I suggest Force pushes on the droids if you can. Once the
first citizen is on the run continue on north where a Droideka is on the roam.
Skip this droid and enter the door on the left wall to enter another room with
three battle droids guarding another citizen. Rescue him and then head back out
and through the door adjacent to the one you just came out of to get to the
next area.

IN this next area run past the door to your left and head over to the large
bridge, kill the four droids guarding two citizens to rescue them. Once they
are free head back and into that door we just skipped. You'll emerge into a
small room with a Force Recharge that leads to maze of walkways.

Inside the maze you need to take the first path up and around to free another
citizen from two battle droids; use your weapons on the first then the Force on
the one behind him to not risk hurting him. Once he is free backtrack to the
bridge we rescued the two citizens from and continue past it and take the
second door on the north wall.

You'll come out in a space underneath that bridge where you need to kill four
battle droids to rescue the citizen there. After he is free backtrack and take
the first door past the bridge; to the left of the door you come out of.

You will find yourself in a large plaza swarming with Droidekas. Don't bother
attacking them; there are too many to fight. From the entrance head left
through the door and rescue the citizen from the four battle droids. Grab the
Health Recharge and then head back to the plaza. Run back towards the entrance
then north, avoiding all the Droidekas until you see a door on the left wall in
the corner. Go on in there to get to the next area.

You'll be in another plaza with Droidekas rolling around. You need to kill them
both to free the citizen in the middle of the room then take the doors to the
right. There is some Health in the box near the doors if you need it. In the
next area there is a Droideka and two battle droids on patrol but skip then if
you want and head into the big hanger opening to steal a tank and finish the
level.

Nubian ships launch to take down the Trade Federation control ship to help save
the Gungans who acted in the diversion. Among the pilots is the young
Skywalker. Inside the Palace the Queen and her people lead an attack to capture
the Viceroy and end this occupation while a dark surprise awaits the Jedi.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Enemies: Battle droids, Droidekas, STAPs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You start out in a garden with two battle droids attacking you. Kill them and
them move the right, grab the blaster ammo in the corner, move on to the lawn
where two more battle droids are, kill them and then grab the Force Recharge.
Move back out of the lawn and around the shrub. Ahead is another lawn
surrounded by flowers with two battle droids on it and to the left of that is a
Health Recharge guarded by two Droidekas. If you need it then dispatch of them
otherwise take the jump that is aimed north right above the flowered lawn.
You'll land near two battle droids and a turret. In the upper left corner near
the turret is a container with a Health Recharge in it so avoid the turret fire
and grab it if you need to. Then make your way into the door on the right side
of the turret to get to the next area.

Kill the two battle droids in the new area and then move forward north between
a shrub and a flowered lawn. The walkway will open into a four way with both
the left and right being dead ends although there is blaster ammo in the left
corridor so grab it if you need to otherwise head into the shrub opening where
you will be attacked by four battle droids. Kill them, grab the Force Recharge
in the left container and the Health Recharge in the right one then go forward
avoiding the fire from the two turrets guarding the door to the next area ahead
of you. Enter the door.

Right away you'll see two battle droids coming towards you so get rid of them
and continue on between the two statues, kill the two battle droids and then
avoid the Droideka and turret fire to enter the palace through the large door
at the top of the steps.

Inside the Palace will be a pair of Droideka guarding the entrance. Destroy or
avoid them, grab the Health Recharge in the container near the door on the
north wall. There will be two battle droids near the container but skip them
and head into the door to gain access to the next area.

Head right in this new area, kill the three attacking battle droids then avoid
the turret fire while you make your way to the base of a staircase but don't go
up the stairs yet. Instead you want to head into the door near the base making
sure to grab the Force Recharge in the container to the right; the other two
containers are empty. Inside this small area are three turrets guarding a
Health Recharge, Blaster Ammo and a Force Recharge so be quick and agile and
grab them then head back out and up the stairs to the left.

Upstairs you will be confronted with a pair of battle droids and a pair of
Droidekas. You'll notice the Droidekas guarding a window; destroy all four
droids and the use your lightsaber to break open the window.

Out on the ledge will be two STAPs flying around. Run left and use the jump to
the north to reach the next ledge, move left to the next jump, the all the way
right to reach the last ledge. Run all the way to the end on the right and
smash through the last window to get back inside the palace.

Move right, kill the three patrolling battle droids and then enter the door on
the north wall at the end of the hallway. Be prepared; two Droidekas will
attack at once. Destroy them then hit the three switches along the north wall
in this order: Right, middle, left. This will open the door to the Queens
office where you will be attacked by two battle droids and two Droidekas. After
they are dead run up to the Queen to complete the level and face the final
challenge.

Maul. Above the ships have managed to destroy the command ship and save the
Gungan forces. While separated, Qui-Gon feel to the Sith blade and now Obi-Wan
is left to destroy the Sith attacker.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Enemies: Droidekas, Darth Maul.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The final stage opens with you rushing into a hanger with Droidekas all around.
Avoid them, keep running left and enter the door that the Droideka is guarding;
kill it or just run behind it.

Inside this area Darth Maul will attack. The key to victory is to avoid his
attacks until he is tired and then strike with your lightsaber. Alternatively
you can use the Force to push him into a daze and then strike. To help you
there are two Health Recharges in the bottom corners and two in the top corners
which you can access with the jump to get to the ledge; also good for a
breather against Maul. Four direct hits and the Sith will fall. Congrats on
completing the game!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After Maul is vanquished the council gives Obi-Wan his knighthood as well as
the permission to fulfill Qi-Gon's dying wish to train Anakin in the Jedi ways.
The Naboo have a big celebration which the Gungans attend and all is happy in
the world....well at least until Episode II.
