This has to be in every FAQ so I really don't have a choice, yes, I admit,
it's VERY boring, but it has to be here. So here it is...

                                How to Play
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
To play a game, you got to know how to play! This is a Two-on-two kind of
game, or in other words, you'll be playing two other basketball players, and
you'll have a teammate too. There are 3 kind of shots, a Field Goal(a shot
that is not dunking), a Dunk and a 3 point shot, this is very difficult -- if
you are not using a good 3 point shooter, but we'll get into all that later.
To shoot, press and hold the A button. And to pass, just press the B button.
And to activate the Turbo meter(make you run with SUPER Speed) you just
press and hold down the Start button.
You also have to know how to play Denfense, there are 3 things you could do,
you could either try to steal the basketball away from the holder, try and
jump up to block the shot and try to press and hold down Start to catch up
with your check.
There are a total of 4 quaters, that lasts 3 minutes each, however this could
be changed by going to the Options menu and choose 'Time'. There are also
a total of 4 modes, Head-to-Head, Practice, Season and Playoffs. We'll go in
depth on these modes a little later. Now that we learned how to play, it's
time to start on all the modes.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
                               Head-to-Head
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the basic mode that whoever wins or loses does not effect anything.
It will not eliminate you from the Playoffs, it will not damage your
Season records, or Standings. This is the mode that will help you get some
Practice, but with some opponents. This is different from Practice mode be-
cause you get to play against the CPU, and not just stay and shoot all the
time. This is the mode to see how good you are -- or how bad...=(

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                Season
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a basic Season style of play. To advance into the Playoffs, you'll
need to be able to get into the top 8 at the end of the regular season. You
could set the game limits from 82 to 26.

To start a season, on the main menu(the menu with Head-to-Head, Playoffs,
etc.) choose Season and you should be brought to a "Enter a Password" screen
(like Wrestlemania 2000) just press Start or the A button and you will be
able to choose a team. Do that. And you'll be able to play.

When you win or lose your first game against an opponent, you'll recieve a
new password to continue with, after you written it down, press A and you'll
be asked would you like to continue your Season, this is up to you.

To continue your Season, go to the Main Menu, and choose Season. This will
once again bring you to the menu with the password system. Enter the
password that the game gave you after a game, and you should be asked to
contiune your Season.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
                              Playoffs
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This mode is a basic mode for you to win the NBA Cup! It's not that hard,
it's the same as the Regular Season, it's saved with a Password System.

Once you win a game, the game will give you a password. Do the same as the
Season and Enter just press the A button to take you to the Team Select
Screen again. Choose your team and play, it doesn't matter if you lose or
win, you'll get a new password to enter into the Playoffs' Password System.

To Continue your Playoffs, just enter the password you got after winning or
losing your first game.

To change how much games you play in the Playoffs, goto the Options menu and
choose 'Game' and then change the tab on the very bottom to how much you
want to play.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
                               Practice
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the most boring mode out there -- but it is a useful mode. This is
the mode where there is NO ONE trying to steal the basketball away from you,
so you could test out your dunking and 3 point shooting skills, or just
try some ally-oops!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                Dunking
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It took me a while to learn how to dunk, but once you know it, it's not that
hard. I seen the Computer do a bunch of times, but I can't figure it out.
But one day after seeing the computer doing maybe for the 120th time, I
finally figured it out! And you don't have to go through my pain! So here it
is...

First of all, get the ball(obviously) and activate the Turbo(hold down the
Start button) and blast down to the otherside alone(I'm not sure about this
but I always dunk when I'm alone) and  press the Shoot button when your
player is standing on the Free-Throw circle. And your done!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
                            3 point shots
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a very important factor in the game, it should usaully decide the
winners from losers -- but if you mishandle it, it would most likely mean
that you would lose. It's important to use a player that has a high 3 point
shooting stat.

To atempt a 3 point shot, stand out side of the semi-circle and shoot, if it
goes it, you will get 3 points, but if it fails to go in, you miss out on
some points. You should only do this when your desparate or have 10 or 20
point lead, otherwise you shouldn't really atempt this, but there are a
couple of players that have VERY high 3 point shooting stats. Here they are.

I made a list of NBA Teams that I think are very good, this is not an
official list, it's just the ones that I think are very good.

----    ----            -------
Rank    Team            Players
----    ----            -------
1       Philadelphia    Allen Iverson

2       L.A. Lakers     Kobe Brayant, Shaq

3       Indiana         Reggie Miller

4       Utah            Karl Malone, John Stockton
