Introduction (INTR)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
While this game is designed for the Gameboy Color, it is backwards compatible
with the original Gameboy and therefore the Super Gameboy adapter for the
SNES. I am playing this game on the Super Gameboy and writing this guide
using it. While I do have other systems, including the Gameboy Color, I
prefer using a TV for the bigger screen. Since this is the case, I may
misinterpret something based on the colors I see. I use palate H on page 2
because it looks like the Gameboy pocket.
The basic concept is that all the carrots have been stolen by the various
Loony Tunes characters and they are holding them within several different
movie sets. Lola and Bugs are off to find them.
I write this guide with the assumption that you are familiar with the Loony
Tunes and the characters. I will not describe each one in any detail. If
you are confused on which character is which, I will gladly help you through
e-mail.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Controls (CONT)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
A will swing the hammer
B jumps
Directional pad moves your character
Start pauses
Select switches between the two characters
Holding the B button will allow Lola to float gently down with the umbrella
Holding the B button near a ledge will cause the character to gain a little
extra height on the jump.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mechanics (MECH)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a basic side scrolling game with a few quirks. Without understanding
these quirks, the game can be difficult.
The only difference between easy and hard modes are that the enemies take an
extra hit to kill in hard mode and that on screen hints are not shown in hard
mode. The hints are fairly basic and not really needed for anyone who is
familiar with this style of gameplay. I will, throughout the walkthrough,
explain everything anyway, so if you want to play in hard mode first, go
right ahead.
Each level has four pieces of clapperboard that you must collect to end the
level. The clapperboard is the black thing that snaps together when a movie
director says, "Lights, camera, action!"
In addition to that, there are letters that spell EXTRA that you must collect
in each level in order to play a bonus level after each level. These letters
are held by Tweety and are hard to get. Tweety will fly away with them if
you are too slow to collect them.
Carrots must be collected in the game as well. There are always thirty two
of them in each level. Still unsure of their purpose beyond score boosting.
Throughout the game, you control either Bugs or Lola. You can switch at
almost any time. They are virtually identical in their attack strength and
jump height. They do differ in one key area. Bugs can dig underground in
certain spots while Lola has an umbrella that she unfurls to float down from
great heights. If you don't float in certain areas, you die from the impact.
I will tell you where and when to specifically use Lola and Bugs. Otherwise,
just play as your favorite.
Some carrots are a little bigger and flash. These carrots, when touched,
cause your ears to turn into propellers and temporally give you the ability
to fly. You sometimes have to use these carrots to reach the next part of a
level or reach one of Tweety's letters. You can move up, down, left and
right when you have this ability, but it does not last long.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Screen (SCRN)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you play the game, you need to understand what you see on the screen.
All vital information is contained on a banner in he bottom eighth of the
screen.
On the far left, at the top of the banner will be several hearts. These
represent your life.
Just below the hearts are the letters EXTRA. They will turn dark when you
collect the respective letter. Collect all five to go to the bonus round and
have a chance at earning an extra life.
Just to the right will be a number and a gray square. The square will turn
dark in quadrants and the number will increase every time you collect a
clapperboard.
In the middle of the banner will be a picture of your character and another
number. This shows you how many lives you have. Lives are shared between
characters.
On the far right, at the top of the banner is a large carrot. It slowly
fills in as you collect carrots.
Just below the carrot is your score. Various actions increase this by
various amounts.
When you start the game, you will be on a screen with trees behind you. Walk
right and you will go past a space ship and some bricks. You will come to
Yosemite Sam. Stand in front of him and press up to start the first level.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Level 1 Treasure Island Scene 1 (L1-1)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You start out next to a tree. Walk right. Go up the hill and grab the
carrots at the top. Go down the other side and jump into the barrel floating
in the water. Now press A to paddle across the water.
Jump out on the other side. You will see a cannon in front on you that
points in several different directions. Walk up to it and touch it and you
will go into it. Press the jump button when the cannon is pointed towards
the cliff on the right. You will fly out and land on the ledge up above.
Yosemite Sam will be on this ledge. He shoots a bullet at you and walks
around. Jump up to avoid the bullet and walk up to him and hit him with the
hammer. He will fall down, dizzy, then disappear.
Move right. There will be a small incline just past the chests. Right above
this incline, in the leaves of the tree will be the first clapperboard. Jump
up and grab it, then move right.
Just past the next tree will be Tweety Bird. He will be flying up, carrying
a heart. Jump up quickly and grab the heart from his feet to gain an extra
piece of life. Now drop off the edge to the right.
Go left instantly and you will find Tweety holding an E. Jump up quickly and
grab it. If you miss, it is gone. Go left and grab the carrots. When you
reach a wall, turn around and go right, back to where you were when you fell
off the ledge.
Now go to the right. Jump up to the next ledge and enter the cave to grab
all the carrots. Go back to the ledge and look up and to the left slightly.
You will see a glowing carrot. Jump up and touch it to gain the propeller
ears. With the propeller ears, you can fly up to the ledge on the right.
Go right and there will be a clapperboard in front of the cloud. Snag it and
go down the hill, grabbing the carrots as you go. Keep going down and you
will eventually see Tweety holding an X. Jump and grab it from him before he
flies off.
Now you will see another barrel in front of you. Jump in it and use A to
paddle across. Yosemite Sam will be on the other shore. Kill him and move
right. Grab the carrots above the chests. On the other side will be
Yosemite Sam again. Watch out for his bullets and kill him by getting close.
Now go down the hill on the right. Hop in the barrel and paddle right using
the A button. Get out on the other side and enter the cannon by walking up
to it. Wait for it to be angled to the right and jump out of it. Land on
the top of the cliff, grabbing the carrots as you go up.
Now go right. There is a large chest in front of you. You need to push this
up to the ledge on the right. Only Bugs is strong enough to push it, so
switch to him with select if you are not already playing as him. Push the
chest all the way to the wall and jump on it and use it to jump to the ledge.
At the top of the cliff is the third piece of the clapperboard. Grab it and
walk down the hill, grabbing all the carrots as you go. When you reach level
ground, Tweety will be there with an A in his claws. Jump and grab it. Do
not worry, you didn't miss any letters - you collect them out of order.
Go right down the rest of the hill. Yosemite Sam is at the bottom. Kill him
and move on. Jump up to the ledge and you will see a chest. Just past the
chest is Tweety with the T. Jump and steal it from him quickly before he
flies away. Now go down the hill.
Jump in the barrel while watching out for the owl that drops cannon balls.
You can jump up and hit the owl with your hammer, but it is easier and safer
to just avoid him. Paddle across the river and go up the hill.
Jump up and go into the cannon. Wait for it to be pointed at the wall on the
right and press jump to be shot out. Go up and grab the carrots and land on
the top of the wall.
Go right and you will see Yosemite Sam. Wait for it to be safe and drop down
and kill him. Go right quickly and you will find Tweety with the last letter
(R). Jump and grab it. You should have all letters now.
Switch to Lola and jump down, following the carrot trail. Be sure you hold
the jump button or her umbrella won't deploy. When you reach the ground, go
left. Jump up over the small wall and grab the last clapperboard and you
will finish the level! If you got all the letters, you go to the bonus
level. If not, you go to scene two.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Level 1 Treasure Island scene 2 (L1-2)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jump right and grab the carrots. Drop down and enter the barrel when you see
it. Use A to paddle across. Jump out once across and go up the hill. At
the wall, switch to Bugs using the select button and press and hold the down
button. Bugs will dig under the wall. Only he can do it.
Once you dig down, go right and move under the wall. Push up on the other
side to come back to ground level. Now go right and walk into the cannon.
Wait for it to point LEFT and use it to shoot you on top of the wall you just
crawled under. Now go left and quickly grab the one up from Tweety.
Switch to Lola and use her umbrella to float down. Go back to the cannon and
use it to shoot you up and right this time. At the top will be an owl
dropping cannon balls, so move right quickly.
Go downhill and grab the carrots. At the bottom, hidden within the chest is
a guy who throws rocks. Wait for a rock to go by, then stand in front of the
chest in front of him and duck. Wait for him to throw another rock, then
stand up and hit him with your hammer.
Now drop off the ledge and go left. Switch to Bugs if you aren't him already
and go up to the wall. Hold down and you will dig under. Go left and come
up on the other side. This will lead you to the first clapperboard. Go back
right to where you dropped down.
Go right, down the hill and collect the carrots. Tweety will be there with
the E. Jump and grab it from him. Now jump in the barrel and paddle right
with the A button.
Jump out and walk right. Use the cannon to get to the top of the wall.
Quickly jump onto the chest and jump straight up to grab the X from Tweety.
Now jump off and use Bugs to push the chest to the right.
Once there, use it to jump to the ledge and go down the hill. There will be
a rock thrower at the bottom. Duck under his rocks and wait for it to be
safe to whack him with your hammer. Do so and move right.
Tweety will be holding a hear just to the right. Jump and grab it before he
flies away. Continue right. Kill the rock thrower again and jump to the
ledge, grabbing the carrots as you go.
Drop off the edge and go right to grab the A from Tweety. Now switch to
Lola. Parasol float down and switch to Bugs when at the bottom. Go to the
left wall and dig under it. Come up on the other side and grab the carrots.
Tweety will have the R for you up against a small wall. Grab it and jump to
the top of the wall to get the clapperboard.
Go left and drop off, watching out for Yosemite Sam. Kill him and go left to
find several more carrots and another clapperboard just beyond a rock
thrower. Grab everything and go back right to where you first fell down with
Lola. Watch out for Yosemite Sam as he will reappear.
Jump up and grab the flashing carrot. Use it to fly right and you will find
Tweety holding the T. Grab it and fly back to the left before you fall into
the water. Now jump into the barrel and paddle right.
Go up the hill once you disembark. Yosemite Sam is at the top of the hill.
Watch out for his bullet and kill him. Continue right. Go down the hill
carefully. At the bottom, you have to jump over the water. Walking into it
will kill you. Jump over and continue right.
Go up the hill and jump to the next ledge. Look back to the left, in the
cloud, and you will see the last piece of clapperboard. Jump and grab it and
you move on to the next stage! If you got all the letters of EXTRA, you will
go to the bonus stage first.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Treasure Island 3 The Galleon (WALK)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you thought the game was easy up to this point, you are in luck, because
this level is TOUGH. Yosemite Sam will be on a ship coming at you from the
right. You must move left and jump from raft to raft, all the while dodging
TNT barrels and the ship. When standing on a three log raft, you cannot walk
off the left side of it (you can the right, however) so hold left. Don't
jump unless you have to.
Move left and jump in an arc to grab the three carrots. The raft will move
with you as you jump. Jump over the TNT barrel onto the next raft. Just
past the next carrot will be Tweety holding the E. Jump and grab it if you
dare and continue moving left carefully.
You will soon see a giant long. Jump onto it and walk to the far left.
Yosemite Sam's ship will hit it before you reach the end of the log, so jump
to the left as soon as he touches it and you will land on another raft. As
soon as the ship touches the log, it starts to disappear, so you need to
react quickly.
Grab the next three carrots in an arc, then jump over the barrel. Here comes
the tricky part. Yosemite Sam's ship will get really close to you now, so
you have to move to the far left side of the screen. Hold left until you
walk onto a giant log. The ship will back off now. An owl dropping cannon
balls will be here. Avoid him (kill him if you want to risk it) and walk
left. Jump off the end right when the ship touches the log and land on
another raft.
Yosemite Sam will now shoot cannon balls at you. You need to jump over them.
Tweety will be here with the X as well. Just past Tweety Bird will be
another TNT barrel. Jump it and land on the raft on the other side.
Grab the next three carrots. Look down into the water and you will see a
shark. If your raft gets too close to the shark, it will jump up at you.
Jump OVER the shark onto another raft.
Continue left and jump the TNT barrel. Go on the giant long to the end and
jump again when the ship touches it. Watch out for the owl. On the second
log will be Tweety holding a heart. Snag the heart if you need it and go to
the end of the log and jump again.
You will go across one more log with an owl above it before you reach another
small raft. Jump to it and move it left. There will be a carrot and just
past that carrot will be Tweety with the T. Grab it and the carrots. The
ship will shoot a cannon ball at you as well, so jump over it. Try to time
it so you grab a carrot as you jump over the ball, so you don't have to jump
as many times.
Now jump left over the TNT barrel. Take that raft left, grabbing the two
carrots and avoiding the cannon ball. Jump the next barrel and the ship will
come up close. Hold left to avoid instant death. Step off when you come to
the log,. Avoid the owl and go left. Jump to the next raft and look for
Tweety holding the R. Grab it and continue moving left.
Jump the shark and grab the carrots. Jump the next TNT barrel and you will
find Tweety with the A. Jump and grab it if you want (if you missed one
before, there is no need to get this one).
Yosemite Sam will come closer. You have to jump onto a log and avoid the
owl. Go to the end and jump off as soon as the ship starts to dissolve the
log. You won't see the next log right away, so hold the jump button so you
get the extra second of air time and you will land on the next log. Keep an
eye out for the cannon ball dropping owls.
Jump to the small raft and go left. Jump over another shark, grabbing the
carrots you see on the way. Tweety will be here with a heart. Grab it and
jump over the next shark. Another cannon ball will shoot from the ship.
Jump over it and the TNT barrel. Yosemite Sam's ship will back off now.
You will be on a log. Yosemite Sam will appear on the right. You have to
hit him six times with your hammer to kill him. He shoots bullets and walks
back and forth, just like he did in the previous scenes. What you want to do
is hit him from behind, then jump over him and hit him again. He will always
turn towards the direction he was hit, so if you hit him from behind, then
jump and hit him again, you will always be behind him. Being behind him
helps to prevent being shot by his bullets. This is an easy battle if you
follow this strategy. This ends the level and gives you the password: Daffy,
Elmer, Taz. If you were brave enough to get all five letters, you will play
the bonus scene first.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Crazy Town Scene 1 (L2-1)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Start out by walking right. Just past the mail box will be a carrot. Jump
and grab it. When you reach the end of the sidewalk, Tweety will be there in
the middle of the road with an E. Jump and grab it from him.
Go right and grab a couple more carrots in front of a bank. Go past the bank
and you will see a fire hydrant. Since you cannot walk any more to the
right, you must use the hydrant to propel yourself up. Since you will have
to walk along the tops of buildings, it is wise to switch to Lola, although
not required.
Wait for the spray in the hydrant to go down, then jump on top and let it
come out again. When it does, you will need to jump off to the left to where
you see the carrot. Jump and grab the carrot and jump up to the left onto
the next ledge.
Grab the carrot on the next ledge, then go back to the previous one (the
third one up). Now jump right to the small construction beam. Walk to the
right and you will find the first piece of clapperboard. No go back left and
jump up to the next beam.
Jump up until you find a flashing carrot. Jump and grab it and fly left,
following the carrot trail. You should land on another beam after two
carrots (it is slightly higher than the one you just left). Walk off to the
left and you will find Tweety holding a 1up! Grab it fast before he flies
away. Now go right and grab the other carrots, then fall off the building
back to the ground. Make sure you are Lola for the fall so you can float
down by holding the B button.
Now go back to where you found the clapperboard. Now jump to the right onto
the next building. Tweety will be waiting for you with the X. Grab it and
walk to the right edge. Jump down, using Lola.
Once on the street, walk right. Be aware that Sylvester is dropping bombs
from the windows above. Wait for him to go back inside and then walk under.
Grab two more carrots, then jump on the fire hydrant spray and ride it up and
jump off to the left.
Climb up to the left, gathering the carrots as you go. At the top, jump up
and grab the flashing carrot to help you reach the beams above. Go right and
you will find the second piece of clapperboard. Jump to the right and once
again to make the next building. Tweety is here with the T. You have to act
fast to grab it.
Jump off the right side of the building and you will find Daffy Duck throwing
dynamite. Kill him (he may kill him self) and use the beams on the right to
climb up to the next rooftop.
Go right. Jump off the edge of the building, grabbing the carrots as you see
them. Once on the ground, go left and you will find more carrots. Watch out
for Sylvester. After getting all the carrots, go right and stop just before
the tar pit.
You should be standing on a skateboard. If not, jump up and land on it. The
skateboard works just like the barrels in the first level. Use A to move
across the tar without being hurt. You unfortunately can only ride it across
the tar pit, so once on t he other side, jump off and walk right.
Sylvester will be throwing bombs at you from the second window. Avoid them
and continue right. Daffy will be on the other side. Kill him and continue
right. When you get to the fire hydrant, jump on it and use it to get up and
go left onto the building. You will have to use the flashing carrot and fly
up and to the left.
From here, grab the carrot and stand on the edge of the building. Jump up
when Sylvester is on screen and whack him with your hammer to kill him. Now
go left. Drop down and switch to Bugs. Push the crate as far left as you
can (only Bugs can push it). Jump on the crate and jump to the beam on the
left.
Jump up and you will see Tweety at the end with the R. Grab it from him and
get the carrots as well. You should switch back to Lola so you can float if
you fall accidentally. Go back to the hydrant and ride it up to the flashing
carrot. Use the carrot to grab the third clapperboard on the right, then use
the carrot again to go straight up to another flashing carrot. Fly up and to
the right to land on some beams that are really high and have carrots on
them.
Walk right and grab the carrots. At the end of the beam is Tweety with the
last letter. Grab it from him easily and drop down to the left. Grab the
last carrot on the ledge on the right, then float down to the ground below,
staying in front of the building.
The last piece of clapperboard will be above a tar pit on your left. You
should be able to jump up, holing the B button, and kick through the air to
grab it and finish the level, all without falling into the tar. If you miss,
jump again quickly and grab it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Crazy Town Scene 2 (L2-2)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Start by moving right. Just before the second mail box, Daffy will appear
from behind a building. Hit him with the hammer to kill him and move on. At
the end of the side walk will be Tweety with an E. Jump and grab it. Now go
back onto the sidewalk, about four steps in. Above you you should see the
edge of a ladder. Jump up and touch it and it will come down. Now you can
climb the ladder by pressing up on the directional pad.
Jump when you reach the top. It is wise to switch to Lola here incase you
fall so you can float down. But first, you need to use Bugs to push the
crate to the left. Wait for Sylvester to throw a bomb, then move up against
the crate and hold left on the directional pad to push the crate to the wall.
Use the crate to jump up to the top of the wall.
Just before the end of this new ledge, jump up and you will find another
ladder. Pull it down and climb it. Grab the carrots at the top, then move
right and fall down.
Watch out for Daffy. Kill him if he doesn't explode himself and move on. At
the edge, jump up and use the flashing carrot to fly straight up and grab the
first clapperboard. Now fall back down and use the carrot again to fly
across, following the carrot trail.
Jump to the right as far as you can and you should land on a small beam up
against a wall. On top of the wall is a guy throwing bricks at you. Wait
for one to go overhead, then jump up and hit him with your hammer to kill
him. Just beyond him will be the second clapperboard piece. Just beyond
THAT will be Tweety with a heart. Jump and grab it.
You should now be on a ledge with two beams above you. Drop off to the right
and float down, following the carrot trail (remember to switch to Lola to
float). Go left, avoiding Sylvester and grab all the carrots. Now return
right and you will find a tar pit. Before you cross the tar, go just to the
right of the Sylvester window and jump up to pull down a ladder. Climb the
ladder and go left and you will find Tweety with the X. Now return to the
ground. Jump on the skateboard and use the A button to ride across it
without being hurt.
Once on the other side, Hop off and go right. Just past the first window you
will see Daffy. Smack him with the hammer and continue right. Jump on the
fire hydrant and use the spray to get up to the roof and jump off to the
left.
There will be another brick tosser here. Duck under the brick when it comes
at you, then walk up next to him and hit him with the hammer to kill him.
Now jump up and find a ladder. Pull it down and climb it. At the top, just
to the right will be Sylvester throwing bombs from a window. Watch out for
them.
If you go to the far left of this ledge, you will find a flashing carrot that
allows you to fly straight up to a 1up. However, you will have to go pretty
far back and jump down, most likely landing in the tar pit from earlier, so
you have to weigh if it is worth it. It is possible to miss the tar pit, but
difficult to do so. Either way, go to the right of the ledge and jump for
the flashing carrot on that side.
Use it to follow a carrot trail to the right. You will land on a rooftop.
Tweety is here with the T. Steal it from him and use Lola to jump off the
left side and float down, right against the wall. You should land on or near
a skateboard. Use it to get across the tar by pressing the A button.
At the other side of the tar pit, use the fire hydrant's spray to push you up
and right to gain the next ledge. Move right, gathering the carrots as you
go.
Drop down and kill Daffy. Now go right and jump straight up in between the
second and third windows and you will pull down a ladder. Climb the ladder.
Go left at the top and you will find the third clapperboard. No go to the
far right.
Jump up and grab the flashing carrot. Fly up and to the left to gain the
roof. Go left. Grab the carrots. AT the end will be some beams. A brick
tosser is just under them, so be careful as you jump up on the beams and find
Tweety holding the R. Grab it and return to the right ledge. Jump up on the
beam and all the way across. Jump the gap and at the very far right side you
will find Tweety holding the A! Grab it and float down, staying to the
right.
You should find the last two carrots on a small ledge. Now fall all the way
to the ground and go right, avoiding the two brick tossers coming out of the
man holes. Just past the second one, above the window marked "SHOP" will be
the last clapperboard. Grab it and move to scene 3!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Crazy Town Boss Scene 3 The Steamroller (L2-3)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This level is very much like the Yosemite Sam one, except there is a steam
roller instead of a ship and you are on the ground. Daffy will drive it from
right to left and you must move left at all times. The screen scrolls
automatically.
Go left and grab the carrots. After several of them, Daffy will charge
forward and you must get to the very far left of the screen. After two more
carrots at close range, Daffy will back off and you can grab an E from
Tweety.
Just past Tweety will be a tar pit. Right before the pit will be a jack
hammer. You have to jump onto the jack hammer and use it to get across the
pit. It moves when you press left and you do not need to press anything
else. Jump up and grab the carrots above the tar pit, then jump off the jack
hammer once on the other side.
After a couple more carrots, some bouncing balls come at you. You need to
avoid them by letting them bounce overhead. Stay back and let one bounce,
then run under it. There are two of them.
Next will be another tar pit and jack hammer. Use the jack hammer to get
across by jumping onto it then pressing left. In the middle of this tar pit
is a giant wrecking ball that comes crashing down. It moves slow, so you
should have no problem going under it, just be sure not to wait too long
since Daffy is barreling down on you with his steamroller.
Jump off the jack hammer once on the other side. Another three balls will
bounce at you. Walk under them when they are at their apex. A tar pit will
follow. This time there is no jack hammer. Rather, there are a series of
three hooks that move up and down. You must jump up and Bugs will
automatically grab one when he is close. You have to jump across the tar pit
using the hooks. Wait for the next one to be down before you jump so you are
less likely to miss. If you do miss, just run quickly across. You will need
to hold the jump button for that extra little oomph on the jump.
Once on the other side, Daffy will charge in close again. Stay on the far
left of the screen until he backs away again. Tweety will be holding the X
for you once Daffy does back off.
Continue you left and you will come to a brick wall. You have to wail on it
with your hammer. It takes six hits to break through, so run up and hammer
it as fast as you can. It will be close always, but it can be done. It is
best to just run to the left after gathering the X and start hammering away
until you hit the wall.
Once you break through, another three balls will bounce down at you before
you encounter another wall. Break though it in the same manner. Tweety will
hold the T on the other side in between some carrots and will then be holding
a heart.
Right after the heart will be another tar pit. Jump on the jack hammer.
This is the toughest tar pit yet. Three balls will bounce down at you and
you must avoid them. You can do so in the same method as before, just wait
for them to bounce high and slide right under to the left. After the balls
will be three hooks. Jump up and grab the first one and jump to the second
one using the extra jump by holding B. Grab the third one then jump off to
solid ground.
Another brick wall will be in front of you a few steps from the tar pit.
Smash it with the hammer and you will find Tweety holding the R on the other
side. Grab it from him and the carrots as well.
Hop on the jack hammer and ride it across the tar pit to the left, being sure
to avoid the two balls that bounce in. Hop off on the other side and another
three balls come at you. Just past the third one will be another wrecking
ball. Walk under it as it is recoiling back up. On the other side will be
the final carrot and the A, held by Tweety. Grab it and Daffy will slide off
screen. Now he is ready to fight.
Daffy will walk back and forth throwing dynamite, just like in the levels.
He is easy to kill, just hit him on the head six times with the hammer. He
always throws a stick of dynamite right after being hit, so hit him and jump
AWAY from him and go right back in after the stick misses you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Taz's Zoo Scene 1 (L3-1)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You will be back at the studio. Walk to the right and you will see the
Tasmanian Devil, Taz, standing next to a camera and a cage with the big arrow
pointing down. Press Up right in front of Taz to start level 3.
Taz will be spinning around, throwing out sticks of dynamite. Wait for him
to start spinning away, then hit him with the hammer to kill him and move on.
You will quickly come to a small sign post. Just beyond this is a pond with
a hippopotamus in it. Jump onto the hippo's back and use the A button to
slowly go across, just like the barrels and skateboards of previous levels.
Once on on the other side, jump off and you will see Tweety holding the E.
Grab it and kill Taz as he comes at you from the right. Move right and you
will come to a cage that you cannot go past or jump on. You can, however,
dig under it. Switch to Bugs if you are not him already and hold the down
button on the directional pad right up against the cage. Bugs will dig under
and you can move across. Press up once on the other side to reemerge.
Go right. You will come to a giant cooking pot. As Bugs, stand on the left
side and hold down right on the directional pad to push it. When you get it
close to the giraffe, he will duck his head into it. You can now jump onto
his neck and go to the right.
Just past the back end of the giraffe, you will see a flashing carrot. Jump
up and touch it to start flying. Fly up and to the left, following the
carrot trail. This will lead you to a second flashing carrot. Follow the
trail down and you will land on the previous cage and find the first piece of
clapperboard! Now go back to the other side of the giraffe and continue
walking right.
Go down hill and you will come to a fence that has a gorilla in it throwing
what appear to be coconuts. Walk under the coconuts and up to the fence.
Smack him with the hammer to kill him, then jump over the fence and continue
moving right.
On the other side will be a cage that you have to dig under, so switch to
Bugs and crawl under. Come up on the other side and you will find Tweety
with the X. You need to be careful here. If you jump haphazardly, you will
fall into another hippo pond.
Jump onto the hippo. Start to paddle across, but stop after the first tree.
You will see a flashing carrot in the tree. Jump off the hippo and touch it.
You will have to hold the jump button to reach it. Once you gain the
propeller ears, fly straight up as high as you can and you will find the
second piece of clapperboard! Now fall back down onto the hippo and continue
right.
Go up the hill, grabbing the heart of Tweety and killing Taz at the top.
Just past the cage with the lions in it will be another gorilla chucking
coconuts at you. Kill him by walking under the coconuts and getting close to
the fence where he cannot hit you, then jump over the fence and down the
hill.
At the bottom of the hill there will be another cooking pot. Use Bugs to
push it to the right. Once up against the fence, the giraffe will put his
head into it and you can jump on top of him and use him to go right.
There will be two Taz monsters in front of the food stand. Kill them easily
and go to the right. Tweety will be flying here with the T. Grab it from
him and jump onto the hippo in the water.
Jump out on the other side. Now switch to Lola. There will be another pond
on the right. There is no hippo, but there is a flashing carrot. Jump out
and touch the carrot to fly. Now fly up, right above the solid piece of
ground in between the two ponds and you will find the third clapperboard! It
is wise to hold B the entire time so that you will float down. If you miss,
aim for the ground again and try once more. It is a difficult one to reach
but can be done.
Now jump across the pond. You will have to use the flashing carrot once
again to make it all the way. Go up the hill and kill Taz. Continue right.
You will find Tweety with the R just past the next decline, in a ditch. At
the top on the other side will be another coconut throwing gorilla. Kill him
the same was as before and jump over the fence.
Move right. Switch to Bugs to push the cooking pot to the right so the
giraffe will duck down. Climb over him and you will find Tweety holding the
A at the other side. Taz is here also. Grab the A first, then kill Taz.
Now switch back to Lola. Go to the far right of the screen. Jump up and
grab a flashing carrot. Use it to fly to the top of the cage where you will
find another carrot. Grab that carrot and start flying left. Make sure you
are holding the B button at all times in case you lose your propeller ears.
Keep moving left, gathering every flashing carrot you see. Eventually you
will come to the last clapperboard! Grab it and instantly end the level!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Taz's Zoo Scene 2 (L3-2)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Start by going right and collecting the carrots. There will be a coconut
throwing gorilla. Walk up to the fence and hit him with the hammer before
jumping over the fence.
Move right. Tweety will be on the other side, next to a snack stand, holding
the E. Grab it from him and walk right until you are at the edge of a pond.
Look for a cluster of balloons floating up and down. You have to jump out
when they are at their lowest point and you will grab onto them. Let them
float up, then jump off to the right side of the pond.
Taz will be on the other side. Kill him and walk right. There will be
another Taz. Kill him and walk past the lion cage. Just past the sign post
will be a flashing carrot. Switch to Lola using the select button. Now jump
up and grab it and fly straight up. You will see another flashing carrot.
Fly into it then follow the trail of carrots in an arc to the left and they
will lead you to the first clapperboard! Grab it then float down will the
parasol.
Make sure you avoid Taz again, as he reappears. Kill him and go right, past
the flashing carrot this time. Now switch to Bugs when you reach the wall.
Press down on the directional pad to climb under the cage and go to the other
side. Press up to come back onto the ground. The X is above this cage. If
you want to grab it, use the flashing carrot on the left side to fly up and
right to get it. Either way, you need to be on the right side of the cage
when all is said and done.
Jump onto the hippopotamus's back and ride it across the pond using the A
button to paddle. On the other side, jump off and go up the hill. Grab the
heart from Tweety halfway up. At the top, use Bugs to push the cooking pot
to the left so the giraffe puts his head into it. Now jump onto the giraffe.
Jump off the giraffe's back and hold the B button and you will find Tweety
with the T. Grab it and fall down to the ground and go right. Kill Taz in
front of the snack stand and go right until you run into a wall.
Switch to Lola now. Stand here until a cluster of balloons comes down. Jump
up and grab them and let them take you up. At the top, jump off and land on
the ledge. Use Lola in case you miss, so you can float down.
There should now be a flashing carrot above you. Jump up and touch it to
fly, going up and left, following the carrot trail. This will lead you to
the second piece of clapperboard! Grab it and float down with the parasol.
Go back up to the ledge now.
Use the flashing carrot to go up and right this time. Grab all the carrots
and float down to the ground once again. Taz will be here. Smack him with
your hammer to kill him, then switch to Bugs. Grab the third clapperboard up
against the cage wall, then dug under and go below it.
Come up on the other side and kill Taz. Now go right and jump onto the hippo
in the pond. Go across the pond using A and jump off on the other side.
Tweety will be here with the R. You have to act fast to grab it. Now switch
to Bugs and push the cooking pot to the right.
Once the giraffe's head is down, jump on top of him and off his back to the
right, grabbing the carrots as you go. Kill the gorilla behind the fence,
then jump over and walk until you reach a wall. Use Bugs to dig down and go
under. Come up on the other side.
Switch to Lola. Now use the balloons to reach the top of the cage which you
just went under, and you will find Tweety holding the A. Grab it, then go
back to the balloons and go to the ledge on the right. Jump up and grab the
flashing carrot. This part is tricky, but you need to go right and look for
more flashing carrots. They are spaced very far apart, so you have to act
very fast to get to the next one. Eventually, after five flashing carrots,
you will find the last clapperboard piece! Grab it and move on to the next
scene!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Taz's Zoo Scene 3 The Troupe Escapes (L3-2)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you were paying attention in the last scene, you saw that the lion cages
were all broken. This is what causes this boss battle. The lions and many
other animals (ostriches, beavers?) are chasing you down. This level works
very similar to the last two boss levels, but you go from left to right this
time.
Move right. Don't touch the animals on the far left of the screen. Gather
the carrots. You will come to a small cage. Hit it with the hammer six
times to destroy it so you can move on. Failure to do so quickly will cause
you to die.
On the other side of the cage will be Tweety holding the E. Grab it and the
carrots and continue right. Taz will be in front of you. You can kill him,
but it is very risky and best to let him do his thing. He will make three
holes in the ground. Jump over them. Taz will disappear off screen now.
Another small cage will appear just after Taz leaves. bash it six times with
the hammer to move on. Continue right. Look up and you will see some
balloons. Yu must jump up and grab a hold of their strings. The animal pack
will come charging in and you have no where else to go. The balloons break
once they reach the middle of the screen, so you need to jump from balloon to
balloon.
After five balloons, the animal troupe backs off and you can jump down.
Tweety will be here with the X. Grab it and the carrots and continue moving
right.
Here comes a really tricky part. There will be a bicycle that shows up on
the right side of the screen. As soon as it does, the animal horde and the
screen start moving almost three times faster. You have to jump on the bike
and smash the A button as many times as possible to stay ahead of them.
Failure to do so will cause death (I lost four lives trying to figure this
one out).
When you come to a hole in the ground, the bike stops and the screen and
horde go back to normal speed. Jump off the bike, across the hole and
continue right.
The T will be held by Tweety here. Shortly thereafter, Taz will create three
more holes. Jump in between them and move on. After the holes will be
another cage. Hit it six times with the hammer to move past it. Remember
not to let the animals catch up to you.
Now you will need to jump on to some more balloons. The animals move up to
the edge of the screen quickly, so jump to the balloons as soon as you see
one.
The animals fall back after the fifth balloon and another bike shows up on
screen. Jump on it FAST and ride it ahead of the now surging animal troupe.
Once you get to a hole in the ground, the bike stops and the animals slow
down.
The R will be on the other side of the hole. Continue right and grab the
carrots. When you see a cage hanging from a chain, stay back because it will
fall. Once it lands, go ahead and go across. There will be a second cage,
followed by Taz making three more holes.
Another two cages will fall, but in between them will be Tweety with the A.
grab it from him while letting the cages fall in front of you both times.
After the second cage lands, the animals will move off screen and you will
fight Taz.
Taz has eight hearts. Get up right next to him. Try to trap him in the
corner and just start wailing away with the hammer. If you are fast enough,
you can kill him without being hit. He will go down in a daze, and stand
back up again. If you just continuously wail away, you will hit him again
before he can do anything, and he will die without you being hit. Once you
hit him eight times, you end the level. The password is Yosemite Sam, Elmer
Fudd, and Daffy Duck.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough The Space Station Scene 1 (L4-1)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back in the studio, go left until you see Marvin The Martian standing next to
a spaceship. Press up on the directional pad when standing in front of him
to enter level four.
Walk right and you will see Marvin. Hit him with the hammer to kill him and
move on. There will be a small box just past the light. Jump on it to reach
the two carrots and to have a better shot at Tweety's E on the other side.
Marvin sometimes pops out from behind the box, so keep an eye out for him.
On the other side will be a computer console (looks like a cassette tape).
This can be pushed just like a crate. Push it to the right until it stops.
You have to use Bugs to push it. Now jump on top of it and jump off to the
ledge on the right.
Now switch to Lola. Jump on the thing in front of you that looks like some
bizarre platform. It is a rocket powered platform. You can control it to a
degree. Press left or right while in it and it will move with you for a
ways. Use it to follow the carrots up and to the right and when it stops,
jump out and grab the clapperboard. Float down and kill Marvin. Jump in the
platform again and use it to get to the ledge on the left.
There will be a Martian here on a floating scooter. He shoots lasers at you.
Duck the laser if it comes at you and hit him with the hammer to continue on.
Jump off the ledge to the left and follow the carrots down.
Move left. Kill Marvin, then jump onto the box and grab the carrot. Jump
left to the next ledge. On the left you will see a tube that is glowing.
Step into it and you will be transported to another area.
Step out of the transporter after it has taken you somewhere new and walk
right. Tweety will be here with the R. Grab it from him then jump off the
ledge into the hole and grab the carrots. Jump up on the other side and kill
the Martian.
Move right. Tweety will be on the next edge with the X. Swipe it from him,
then drop down. Marvin's dog, K-9, is here. Kill him with the hammer and
grab the flashing carrot to make it to the next ledge on the right.
From here, jump into the rocket platform and ride it as far right as you can
and you will see the next clapperboard piece. Watch out for the bomb hidden
near the light. Jump out and get the clapperboard then get back in the
platform and ride it left, following the carrots.
When the platform is as high as it will go to the left, jump out and go right
onto the ledge. Jump into the next platform and ride it up, following the
carrots. At the top, jump out and left onto the ledge, watching out for
Marvin. Kill him and move left.
Jump up on the box on the far left and grab the flashing carrot. Use it to
move right and you will find another teleportation tube. Walk into the tube
to be transported to another area.
Make sure you are Lola when you step out of the teleporter. Go left and walk
off the edge and parasol down. Jump up on the box. There is a weird carrot
here (they've been in previous levels and I have ignored them up to now) that
makes you run really fast. I think these are more of a hindrance then a
help, but since this one cannot be avoided, touch it and fall back off to the
right and run back and forth there until it goes out.
Now jump on the box and move left, killing Marvin in the process. Grab the
carrots and you will see Tweety with the T. Grab it and go left. Kill K-9
the dog and just behind him you will find the third clapperboard piece! grab
it, then return to the box.
Jump up and grab the flashing carrot. Use it to finagle your way around the
ledge and up on top of it. Watch out for the Martian. Kill him and go left.
At the edge, jump up and grab the flashing carrot to fly up and left to
another ledge with a new teleporter on it. Step into the tube and you will
be moved to another area.
You can grab a 1up before the teleporter if you feel bold. Instead of going
to the ledge with the teleporter, go up and to the right and you will find
another flashing carrot just under a ledge. Grab it and work your way left
around the ledge and up onto it. Tweety will hold a 1up here for you. Grab
it and jump down to the teleporter ledge. Be sure to use Lola to land
safely.
On the other side of the teleporter, step down and kill Marvin. Jump out and
grab the A from Tweety. Make sure you use Lola as you go down the steps.
Drop off the last one and grab the carrots as you float down. Drop off the
ledge to where K-9 is. Kill him and go right. Kill Marvin when you see him,
then you should see the last clapperboard above you. Jump and hold the B
button to grab it and move to the next stage!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough The Space Station Scene 2 (L4-2)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Go right, Drop down, then climb back up. Kill the Martian on the scooter
and go down to the right. Grab the carrots then kill Marvin. Right next to
the wall will be the first clapperboard! Grab it, then return to before the
Martian.
Jump out and grab the flashing carrot. Follow the carrot trail up and land
on the ledge on the right. It is a good idea to be Lola in case you miss.
Go to the right, kill the Martian and you will find Tweety with the E. Grab
it, then go back and jump up to the next flashing carrot.
Watch ut for the bomb and make your way to the first ledge on the left. Kill
K-9 the dog and go left to find Tweet with the X. Grab it then go back. Go
to the ledge on the right. Jump on the box (kill K-9 f he is on the other
side) then jump up and right and you will find the second piece of
clapperboard!
Now jump back down to the first flashing carrot. Fly up and go past the
ledge on the left this time and up the wall. You will find another carrot.
Watch out for the bomb. Land on the second ledge on the left. Kill Marvin
and grab the flashing carrot on the left. Fly up and to the right collecting
carrots as you go. Jump off this ledge to the right and you will land on a
transporter pad. Step into the transporter to be moved to another area.
Step out of the transporter and go right. This is a really tricky area.
There is a rocket platform you need to jump into. Above it are several
bombs. You have to navigate around them, collecting the carrots if you can.
You want to fly up for the most part, but you need to go right, then left,
then right again to make the next ledge.
Kill Marvin, then jump to the left ledge. In the corner is a flashing
carrot. Grab it and fly up to the right to find Tweety with the T. Use Lola
so you can float back down onto the ledge where Marvin was. Now jump up on
the right. You should see a lever pointed left. Walk up to it and hit it
with the hammer. This should cause it to go right and the spring on the far
right to drop down.
Jump on the spring and you will be propelled up. Go right. Land on the
ledge and walk right. Kill the Martian. Now drop off the ledge. Grab the
flashing carrot and fly right quickly to find the third clapperboard piece!
Grab it and drop down to the ground below, watching out for both Marvin and a
Martian.
Go to the right and you will find another lever. Smack it with the hammer to
move it to the right. Now jump on the spring and you will be pushed up. Go
up and right, then quickly jump off the ledge to the left to find Tweety
holding the R. Grab it and float back down. Use the level and spring again
to push yourself back up and to the right.
Step into the transporter. As you go, you will see both the last piece of
clapperboard and the A, so you are on the right track! Step out of the
transporter and go right. Hit the level to the right so the spring comes
down. Now jump on the spring and go up and over the wall.
Jump into the platform and go up. Watch out for the bombs. You will have to
go in between them. Jump out once you reach the highest point the platform
will go and walk right. Drop down off the ledge twice and you will see
Marvin. Kill him. Now jump up by the light and grab the flashing carrot.
Take it straight up to find the A!
Float down and go right. Jump up and grab the flashing carrot again, only
this time go at an angle of right and up, avoiding the bombs. You will have
to zigzag around the bombs while grabbing flashing carrots. This leads you
up and to the right and eventually to the last piece of clapperboard! Grab
it and move to the next scene!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough The Space Station Scene 3 The Flying Scooter (L4-3)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This level is tough. It is similar to the previous boss levels, but with a
few distinctions. This time, you will be riding a scooter trying to get away
from Marvin the Martian's space ship. The scooter require fuel, which you
must collect throughout. If you run out, you die. Your remaining fuel is
indicated on the banner where the clapperboard normally is. The fuel
canisters are located in such a way that you cannot miss a single one.
Start out by running left and jumping on the scooter ass soon as it is on
screen. Keep moving left, going down to avoid the asteroid. After three
carrots, move up to the top of the screen to avoid the next asteroid.
Three small asteroids will fall from the top of the screen. Stay low and
avoid them. Right after these three will be the first fuel canister. Go
down to the bottom of the screen to grab it and slide under the asteroids.
After this will be two carrots followed by a Martian on a scooter shooting at
you. You cannot kill him, so you have to avoid him. Since you need to act
fast so the space ship doesn't get you, you more or less have to guess at
whether to go high or low. Try to use the position of the laser to figure
out where he is and go the other way. I find it best to stay low since the
asteroid is at the top of the screen.
Move up slightly to avoid the next asteroid. Another three falling asteroids
will come at you next. Avoid them and stay in the middle of the screen. Go
between the two stationary asteroids and you will come to the next fuel
canister.
Go down and grab a carrot before you find Tweety with the E. Grab it and
stay low to go past the asteroids. Another four falling asteroids will come
at you. You need to be in the exact middle of the screen once you go by them
in order to get through the two large stationary asteroids.
Grab the fuel canister right as you get to the other side, then go low to
avoid the stationary asteroid. Grab a carrot, then the X from Tweety and
then another carrot.
You need to be in the middle of the screen to get through two large
asteroids, but this time there is a bomb in the path. Go under and past it
when it is at its apex. There will be one on the other side as well, Go
under it and stay low to make it past the next stationary asteroid.
After three falling asteroids you will come to another fuel canister. It is
low on the screen, so stay down and grab it unabated. Go to the middle of
the screen to grab a few more carrots. Watch out for the bomb that appears
with the asteroids that are on the bottom of the screen.
Continue left and go high for the next fuel canister. Go low not to avoid
the three bombs in a row, then Tweety will be there with the T. Go to the
middle to get through the asteroids and grab it.
Go high on the screen to grab the carrots and fuel, then stay high until the
Martian comes on screen. You can sneak around him from above without being
touched. Go under the asteroid and above him and you will get through just
fine.
Grab the carrot, then go high to avoid an asteroid, then low to avoid another
one. Go high again to avoid a bomb, then go low to grab the next fuel
canister. Now go high again.
Scoot back down low to go under the asteroid and past two bombs, then go to
the middle to get through two asteroids. On the other side, go low and grab
two carrots. Stay low until you see the next fuel canister. Go to the
middle and grab it, then the R from Tweety right after.
Stay high to grab three carrots, then go to the middle. Now two asteroids
will fall. Go high on the screen immediately after the second one to grab
the next fuel canister. It is also the only way though the asteroid field.
Go low to avoid the bombs, then go high to grab some carrots and avoid the
next two bombs. Go to the middle of the screen to grab the A from Tweety.
Stay in the middle to grab the next fuel canister and a few more carrots. A
Martian will be waiting for you once you reach the end of the asteroids.
Stay high and try to sneak above him and avoid his laser fire.
Grab the last fuel canister and then stay low to avoid the bombs. Skirt over
the small asteroid when it comes up, then just ride to the end of the screen.
Once you see the flat ground, the spaceship backs off and Marvin steps out to
fight.
Marvin is actually the easiest fight to date. He walks back and forth,
sporadically shooting a laser. Go up to him and hit him with the hammer,
then instantly duck by holding down on the directional pad. He ALWAYS shoots
after being hit, but you can duck under it every time. Catch him on one of
the edges of the screen and smack him then duck. Once he shoots, stand up
and smack him again. You should get three or four hits on him before he
walks back to the other side. Once he does, jump over him and start the
process over again. It takes nine hits to kill him. Easy as cake.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Elmer Fudd's Forest Scene 1 (L5-1)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back at the studio, walk left until you see the trees and Elmer Fudd standing
there. Press up while standing in front of him and you start level five.
Start by walking right. Go down the hill and you will see a walking tree
stump. Hit it with the hammer three times to kill it. Jump off the cliff
edge. Don't go straight down as you will land in a bear trap. Instead, jump
far and you will land on an incline.
Go up the hill. Use Bugs to push the giant rock to the right and off the
edge. It will land on a teeter-totter and shoot another giant rock to the
right.
Go right. Grab the E from Tweety here and grab the two carrots as well.
Jump on the rock on the right and use it to get up to the next edge. Now use
Bugs to dig under the log pile. Press down on the directional pad when
standing right next to it and he will go under. Go right and press up to
come out on the other side.
Jump up on the ledge on the right and grab the X from Tweety. Now jump onto
the top of the logs to gain the first clapperboard piece! Now go right and
step into the weird contraption. Repeatedly press A to paddle it and you
will float up. Jump out of it when it will not go any higher and land on the
very edge of the ledge so you don't step into the bear trap. Jump over the
bear trap and move right.
Switch to Lola then jump off the ledge and float down, following the carrot
trail. Once you land, Elmer Fudd will be here. Hit him with the hammer and
kill him. Now jump off the ledge on the right.
Go left once you land and kill the dog with the hammer. Continue to move
left and grab the carrots. At the end of the tunnel you will find the second
piece of clapperboard! Grab it then return to where you landed.
Go right. Switch to Bugs and push the giant rock off the ledge and onto the
teeter-tooter to move the second piece of rock. Go right. Tweety will be
holding the T. Grab it and move right. Jump on the rock and se it to gain
the ledge above you.
Switch to Lola and jump into the contraption. Peddle up with the A button
and jump out. Use the parasol to float back down if you miss the ledge.
Jump on the logs and wait for the dog to come out. Now jump off and kill him
with the hammer. Jump off the ledge on the right and float down.
Go right, into the tunnel, and kill Elmer at the end. Jump up and grab the
flashing carrot and fly straight up to find the third piece of clapperboard!
Now go back to the last large wall and use t hat flashing carrot to go up and
above the tunnel. Jump into the contraption and peddle it up.
Jump out to the right. There will be another tree stump here that requires
several hits to kill. The R is on the right, so stay on the left until you
kill the stump. Now go right and grab the R from Tweety. Use Lola to jump
off the ledge and float down.
Go right and avoid the two bear traps. Drop down and kill the dog. Go right
and grab the A from Tweety. Go up to the logs and switch to Bugs using
select, then dig under and go across. Come up on the other side and use the
extra oomph jump by holding B to get to the top of the log pile and find the
last piece of clapperboard! Grab it and move to the next scene.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Elmer Fudd's Forest Scene 2 (L5-2)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Start by going right. Use Bugs to dig under the log pile. Jump up and grab
the flashing carrot to fly above the log pile and grab a heart form Tweety if
you need it, then go right and use the flashing carrot to go up.
Jump over the bear traps and grab the E from Tweety. Get up to the wood pile
and dig under it using Bugs. Come up on the other side and you will find the
first piece of Clapperboard! Now go back down to the first log pile and take
the tunnel.
Jump up and grab the funny carrot and you can run really fast and instantly
kill the three tree stumps just y running into them. If you don't want to,
you will have to hit each one several times with the hammer.
At the end of the tunnel, Use Bugs to push the rock onto the teeter-totter,
then switch to Lola. Go back a few steps until you see the flashing carrot.
You have to use this to get up to the ledge above you. This is a very tough
path to fly and you have to be perfect to get there. It will take several
attempts, so make sure you are Lola in case you need to float down. Once on
the ledge above, there will be a piece of clapperboard above you. Getting
this clapperboard is difficult. Stand in the middle of the ledge and use the
extra jump by holding the B button to reach it. It took me almost twenty
tries to finally collect it, so be patient. Also, it is worth noting that I
have only been able to obtain this piece AFTER dropping the rock and riding
the hook down the rope, back up, then going back to the ledge. I do not know
why this is, but it is something to consider trying if you cannot reach it.
Go right past the teeter-totter now. Grab the X from Tweety, then climb the
ledges. At the top, jump over the bear trap and grab a hold of the hook on
the rope. Ride it down then jump off to the right. Jumping too soon causes
you to fall into a hole.
Kill Elmer Fudd here with the hammer. Jump over the small logs and bear
trap, then switch to Bugs to dig under the large log pile. Switch back to
Lola and ride the contraption up using A. Jump out to the left to grab the
third piece of clapperboard that is above the wood pile, then ride the
contraption up again and jump out right.
Kill the stump and grab the carrots before jumping on the next hook. Ride it
down, then jump off at the end and kill Elmer Fudd. Jump over the log pile
and switch to Bugs to push the rock to the right and onto the teeter-totter.
Go right and grab the T from Tweety, then jump up to the ledge. Switch to
Lola and parasol float down off the right side.
Kill the dog with the hammer, then go down the hill. Jump over the bear trap
at the bottom and jump into the contraption. Press A repeatedly to peddle up
and then jump out to the right.
Hit Elmer with the hammer to kill him, then go right. You will find the R in
Tweety's clutches just past a small log pile. grab it, then jump onto the
hook and ride it down.
Kill the stump, then look for Tweety holding the A. He is above a bear trap,
so be careful when jumping to grab it. Now look for the clapperboard. It is
the last one. Stand below it and jump up while holding t he jump button and
grab it to move on to the next scene!

Walkthrough Elmer Fudd's Forest Scene 3 The Crazy Train (L5-3)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time for one more boss level. This time Elmer Fudd is in a train and coming
at you from the right. You are on a little dolly that rides left. You only
move when pressing left, just like in the first boss level.
Go left and grab the carrots. You will come to a dirt path. Jump off the
dolly onto the dirt and walk across. Be sure to jump off BEFORE Elmer's
train touches any of the dirt because once it does, it explodes out from
under you.
Jump on the next dolly and there will be a set of spikes. They retract and
expand. When retracted, you can ride right past them. Do not try to jump
over them. Ride past them when they are down, then jump onto the dirt.
Walk across the dirt, then jump onto the next dolly. Go past the two spikes.
On the other side of the second spike is a trap that makes your dolly
disappear when touched, so jump OVER it and onto a new dolly.
Now Elmer will speed up and come up close to you, so you need to go as far
left as you can. Once you hit a dirt path, he will back off. Walk across
the dirt and jump, even though you cannot see the next dirt path because it
will explode out from under you. Hold B and you will kick in the air and
land on a new path just as it becomes visible.
Walk left. You will have to make another blind jump at the end of this one.
Jump and land on another dirt path. Take it across. Jump off when you see
the dolly and ride it past the spikes when they are retracted. After the
third one will be a dolly destruction trap, so jump over it and onto a new
dolly.
Continue left. There will be a brick tosser from level two on a tower. He
is easy to avoid. You ride right under him. Watch out for his bricks and
jump onto the dirt and move left. Jump onto the dolly on the other side and
continue riding left.
After another brick tosser and dirt path, Elmer's train will come up to you
close, so use the dolly and go far to the left. Go under another brick
tosser and you will be on a dirt path. Elmer backs off here, but you need to
make a blind jump off the end to another dirt path.
Blind jump off this dirt path and you will land on another. There will be a
dolly right after this one. Step onto it and move right. Ride past the
spikes when they are down. After three spikes, jump over the trap and onto a
new dolly. Elmer comes up close again, so stay far left.
You will come to another dirt path and Elmer Fudd backs off. You have to do
another blind jump off of this one, and this jump is a doozy. Wait until
Elmer is just about to touch the dirt with his train and jump for your life.
Remember to hold B to get that extra oomph.
Make another blind jump and then you will see a dolly. Jump on it and
continue riding left. Go under another brick tosser and across another dirt
path (notice a pattern?) and onto a new dolly. Continue left.
Another brick tosser and dirt path later will bring you to a dolly with a
short ride, for right after is a trap. Jump over it and onto solid ground.
Elmer's train backs off here and he steps out, ready to fight.
Elmer has ten hearts. You kill him using much the same strategy as you did
with Marvin. Just be aware that he moves a lot faster, so you only get at
best, two hits before you have to jump over him. Remember to duck as soon as
you hit him with the hammer so he doesn't hit you with his bullet.
This completes the game! Watch the ending scene and the credits if you want.
Congratulations!

Walkthrough EXTRA (EXTR)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is an easy bonus level. It is a shooting rage. You press and hold the
A button and throw a piece of dynamite at various characters. You can move
Bugs left or right, but not forward and backward. The carrot at the bottom
indicates how strong of a throw you will do. Pressing and holding the button
causes a stronger throw.
There are three lines where the enemies will appear. The closest one doesn't
require any holding of the A button; just tap it and throw. The middle line
requires you to fill the meter about half full. The far line requires about
two thirds of the meter to be filled.
Align bugs so that his right (throwing) hand is in a straight line from the
enemy and throw your dynamite. You have enough time for about two shots
before the enemy slides off screen. You need to hit everyone to earn an
extra life.
As you progress through the game, the bonus level gets harder with more
enemies appearing in the round and staying around for less time. Also, the
letters become harder and harder to find and are in more dangerous locations.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Passwords (PASS)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are two level passwords in this game, for level two and level four.
There are passwords for both easy and hard mode. There is also a level skip
password that lets you go to any level you want.
The password screen is tricky. You find it in the options menu. You must
press start to activate the password entry, then press up and down to change
the character names, and left or right to switch each icon. The passwords
listed on Gamefaqs are not done in the correct order, but are the correct
passwords. The passwords are entered in a triangle with the bottom one being
the one listed in the middle. Here is the correct way to enter the
passwords:
Level 2 Easy Level 2 Hard
Daffy Duck Elmer Fudd Taz Yosemite Sam
Taz Marvin The Martian
Level 4 Easy Level 4 Hard
Yosemite Sam Elmer Fudd Marvin The Martian Yosemite Sam
Daffy Duck Taz
Stage Select
Taz Elmer Fudd
Daffy Duck
When you use the level passwords, press start after entering the correct
sequence and you are taken to the start of the level. When using the level
select password, press start and you are taken back to the title screen.
From there you need to PAUSE the game, then press SELECT and you will skip to
the very next scene. Continue to do this method of start/select to get to
the desired scene.
Q: What is this game?
A: Loony Tunes: Carrot Crazy is a side scrolling platformer made for the
Gameboy Color released by Infogrames in 1999.
Q: Is this game known by any other names? Was it released in any other
regions?
A: Yes. It was released in Europe in 1998 as Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny:
Operation Carrot Patch. It was not released in Japan as far as I know.
Q: Is this game compatible with the original Gameboy? What about
compatibility with other systems?
A: Yes, it is. Even though it was sold as a Gameboy Color game, it is one
of a handful that are backwards compatible with the original Gameboy. It is
also compatible with the Gameboy pocket, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP,
Super Gameboy adapter for the SNES and the Gameboy Player adapter for the
Gamecube.
Q: Are there multiple language selections?
A: Yes. You can choose English, Spanish or French.
Q: All throughout the game you say to 'use the hammer' to kill an enemy,
even when using Lola, who doesn't wield a hammer. Why is that?
A: Well, two reasons really. The first one is convenience, since the
weapons do the same thing. The second, and more important reason, is that
Lola has a rolling pin as a weapon and I find it to be incredibly sexist that
Lola, the female, uses a kitchen item as a weapon. Say what you want, but I
think this is just wrong, and since this is a game targeted towards children,
I think it is even more wrong. I also dislike that Bugs, the male, is the
only one strong enough to push objects, but since it is required for the
gameplay, I do mention it in the guide. There is a good chance that I am
reading too much into it, making a mountain out of an anthill, what have you,
but I felt it needed to be addressed.
Q: Is this game based on anything specifically, or it is just a general
story involving the characters?
A: It is not based on anything specific, as far as I know. I have watched
more cartoons than most twenty-somethings out there and I have never seen a
cartoon where Daffy Duck tried to KILL Bugs and Lola in this fashion.
Q: What about that new cartoon involving these characters? Is it any good?
A: The Loony Tunes Show, on Cartoon Network is what I assume you mean. At
first, I didn't like it one bit. However, I gave it a second chance and I
actually liked it. I like to think of it more as what the characters are
doing now, in today's society, now that their acting careers are over. It is
quite enjoyable on that plane.
Q: I don't remember Lola Bunny. Where does she come from?
A: Lola Bunny was introduced in the movie Space Jam from the mid 1990s. She
has been a semi-regular in the Bugs Bunny world ever since.
Q: What is the highest score?
A: I never recorded my highest score, but I do remember getting over 250,000
to see if there were any bonuses such as extra lives for a high score.
Q: Are there any bonuses for a high score?
A: None that I found.
Q: I am stuck on X in level Y. Can you help me?
A: It should already be covered in the step by step walkthrough up above,
but if for some reason it isn't, please send me an e-mail and I will attempt
to answer your question.
Q: You screwed up in a section/strategy/area/itsprobablyjustatypo! Don't
you spell check everything?
A: No, I don't. There are bound to be mistakes throughout this guide. The
only way they can be corrected is if you e-mail me and nicely explain to me
where and how I messed up. Credit will be given where credit is due. My e-
mail is at the beginning of this guide.
Q: Where can I get this game?
A: This game is not an easy one to find, but it is by no means rare. It can
be had for as little as $5 US. I personally bought my copy at a thrift store
in Boise, Idaho for $2.50 in April of 2008. Online websites that specialize
in the sales of old video games such as eBay, Amazon, and Gamegravel are your
best bets. Also, most cities have at least one retail store that specializes
in older games. Pawn shops are also known to carry older games. Please
respect these different retail outlets and purchase the game if you desire to
own it. Just because Nintendo doesn't make money on the sale of old games
doesn't mean other peoples' livelihood isn't invested in such sales. I
cannot and will not endorse or support emulation of this or any other title
and I will not relay any information pertaining to such practices.
Q: Can I host this guide on my site?
A: No. I do not allow anyone to use my guides without expressed, written
permission. I do not give permission unless I am asked, specifically, about
this guide. I do not like automated e-mails. I will most likely only allow
my guide to be hosted on a small website, usually one centered around the
game or system my guide is for. For more information, see the Copyright
section of this guide, at the bottom. Use of this guide without my
permission is considered theft and will be reported to the proper
authorities.
Q: How do I contact you about this guide?
A: E-mail is the best way to do so. My e-mail can be found at the beginning
or the end of this guide, just remember to take the numbers 123 out of it
because they do not belong. I keep them there to prevent auto scanning
websites from obtaining my e-mail address. I am not big on the instant
messenger services any more, so it is unlikely that you can contact me that
way. If e-mail is not an option, you can send me a private message through
Gamefaqs message system.
Q: What other guides have you done?
A: Just simply click on the name Arguro at the very top or the very bottom
(orange text in a black box) of this guide and it will take you to my
contributor page. From there you can see all the different things I have
contributed to Gamefaqs.
Q: I really like your guides. Can I donate money to you in support?
A: If you really want to, you can send a Pay Pal payment to my e-mail
address which is at the top or bottom of this guide. Please understand that
any donated money does not mean I will name you in my guide. It also does
not mean I will do any special work for you and it certainly does not give
you any rights to host this guide or publish it anywhere. I do not want the
user to feel obligated to pay me in any means. This is a free guide for
personal, private home use. I will not reject your offer to pay me, but I do
not want you to feel it is necessary. If you do decide to donate to me,
please only donate what amount you are comfortable with, even if it is a
single penny. Once a donation is made, it is final and there will be no
refunds. This is an odd question and I debated about adding it for a long
time, but when I saw other FAQ authors had a similar question, I felt it
would be a valid addition.
