I played this game on a friends PSX and I thought it was pretty cool all the
gun slinging, car stealing & pimps was a refreshing change from mushrooms,
stars & plumbers. But I also thought that its graphics and gameplay were more
suited to a SNES or GB, And look what happens years later it comes out on Game
Boy CoLoR and I'm off!

ii)Gameplay Basics

Basically your a criminal and your boss orders you around to do certain
missions by pay phones. What you have to do in the missions vary from just
collecting a car to doing a hit on someone. To get these done you have to steal
cars to get around quickly hence the title "Grand Theft Auto", To steal a car
you have to hi-jack it, Not this bent Coathanger on a parked car stuff were not
stealing it for a mobile phone or stereo :). So anyway you have to get in front
of cars to stop them and then take over, Certain vehicles have different
characteristics, You also have a wide variety of weapons- Pistols, Machine Guns
or Flamethrowers you can collect these by running crates over or shooting
crates, But it's probably easier to just make your enemies roadkill, then to
have a shootout with them.

iii)Dealing with the Fuzz!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Police are a menace to your operation but police only go after you after you
killed a lot of people or do other unruly stuff (see below). To prevent
yourself from being busted, When the Patrol Car is in pursuit brake then as
soon as the policeman gets out of the car run over him! Also another little
trick is to hug the wall to the left of you then stop when the Patrol Car is
hugging the wall also, then when he gets out the cop will be trapped and so
know you can get out of your car and shoot his car until it explodes and he
goes up in flames!
This is what adds a point to the Police Priority Meter

2)WALKTHROUGH
===============================================================================
Take Note- * All left & right directions are taken as a 1st person perspective.
(i.e. As if you were driving the car)
* A Main Road has four lanes.
* A Freeway has six lanes.
* Main Missions are accessed by a group of phones in that City.
* Side Missions are accessed by stealing certain parked cars, then
waiting for orders
* I will always assume that you steal a car straight away if you
don't have one.

i)Gangsta Bang

Main Missions
=-----------=
As you start off go down and take the first left it will take you to the group
of phones. Also there is armour in the crate south of them that will be of some
use later.
From left to right they are:

Mission 1- Crazy Jimmy's dumped a car in
North East Park. Find it
before the cops do - or die.
Get a Car and keep going along this street then and go NE by zig zagging Left
then Right four times then jump in the Pink Mundano parked there.
Mission 2- Bring the car to Dulli's in West
Park. Move it! We got some
fresh coffee here!
Go Right, Left, Left, Right, Left, Right then straight ahead into the Garage.
Mission 3- Jimmy needs a driver. Talk to
him on the phone at the South
West Park subway.
Get a Car and go south until you see a ringing (flashing) phone.
Mission 4- There's a cab with fake
plates in South East Island
City. Pick it up, then pick me
outside the bank in South
Park.
Keep going so until you can only turn left, Instead of turning left go right
over the pavement to the other street now keep on going south until you get to
the Freeway, now travel west until your first left then travel south until you
get to a factory with a small alleyway with overhead girders, that alley leads
to the Taxi. Now go back through the alley and back to the road you were going
down take the 4th Right, then go Left and over the bridge and take a Right keep
going in that direction over the pavement until you see Jimmy.
Mission 5- Bubby's got a sticky love nest
in South Island Heights. Take
me there.
Go NE by zig zagging Left then Right four times like before but go further NE
by turning Left then Right then drive a little bit down Bubby's is on you left.

Mission 1- The Angels wasted one of our
dealers and split with the
goods. Bubby wants it back.
Go west until you go over the pavement then turn left and keep going till you
hit the Freeway now follow it by going west and then north when it turns right,
Now go north till you see the L.C.P.D after a bridge, turn right and then turn
left over the pavement then turn right and go east till you see three bikies
and a bike run over them and collect the bike.
Mission 2- The gear's in the bike's gas
tank. Take it to Diego's in
North East Hackenslash.
Go West to the Main Road now follow it north till you get to an intersection
then turn right and follow it till you get to Diego's which is on the right
side of the road.
Mission 3- This gear's bent Tony Dio's.
He wants it back. Answer the
phone in North Fort Law.
Get a car and drive east down and take the 4th left, now go south till you see
the flashing phone in a park.
Mission 4- Hey, Bubby's baby! Dump the
gear in the park in South East
Hakenslash.
Go north until you get to the Main Street, then go east till you get to the
park.
Mission 5- Tony's on his way. Make sure
he makes the pick up.
Just drive out of the way and don't run over Tony.

Mission 1- The new police chief wants a
bigger cut. Bubby wants him
dead. Use the truck in South
Nixon Island.
Keep going down this street then turn L, R, L, R, L ,R ,R now follow this road
to the tanker, sometimes this road has a lone parked car i.e nookie :) now go
roughly north and park the tanker inside the L.C.P.D.
Mission 2- Move ya sorry butt, before
she blows!
Get out and run for your life!
Mission 3- You've done this before. Get
over to South East
Hakenslash. Tommy's waiting
for ya.
Go south til you get to a Main Road then go east till you get to tommy's then
walk in the green front entrance.
Mission 4- Damn! That's Sonetti's
lawyer! Follow him. If he meets
with his men kill em' all.
Just follow him till he gets to his men!
Mission 5- No survivors! Don't let'em
get away!
Kill everyone but don't jump the gun :) or it may not register a kill, Also
sometimes you see two thugs heading north as the lawyer walks there, kill them!

Mission 1- We need two yellow cabs for a
bank job. Bring 'em to the
docks in New Guernsey
Just nick two taxi's (There not that rare now) and park them in the dock in
far SW Liberty City. If your having trouble stealing one, Just use the parked
one in North Park but I think if you use it you can't access the Mission it's
linked to (See Side Missions), If your having trouble getting to the dock just
follow the Freeway east then navigate your way there.
Mission 2- I gotta keep movin', man.
Answer the phone in North
West New Guernsey.
Get a car and head north to the flashing phone.
Mission 3- My Brother know's I'm seeing
his wife. Waste the loser
before he finds me.
Go north and take the 9th right not counting the two driveways now head east
the brother is in an alleyway connecting the 1st and 2nd left turnoffs plow
your car through there killing him and his bodyguard the alley can also be
accessed by going through the factory just before the 2nd left turnoff.
Side Missions

|Yellow Taxi|

The Taxi is parked in North Park.
Mission 1- Bubby's wife,Skye,has been
vistin' a friend in Central
Estoria. Go get her.
Go forward and turn right, then left, then right now keep going east but take
the 3rd right which is a Main Road go south and take the 2nd right and she
should be waiting a little bit down the road.
Mission 2- Hey, good lookin'! Take me... to
the hotel Mon Signor in
Central Kings. You TEASE!
Go back to the Main Road, then go south till you see two SLOW signs on both
sides of the road then turn right into the hotel.
Mission 3- My - Uh - Personal trainer is
waiting in South East
Brocklyn. Can we get him,
pretty please?
Go down to the Main Road running WE then go west but take the 2nd left turn now
keep going south
Mission 4- Hi, hon'! Miss me? Take us back
to the hotel in Central Kings -
and take it slow.
By the sound of that he's training her in more ways then one, Anyway just go
back to the hotel.

|Petrol Tanker|

The Tanker is parked in North Law Island (South of Brix)
Mission - That truck belongs to some
patriot group - and it's fat
with plastique. Go to the pool
hall in Central Kings.
Go south and follow your compass and drive into the alleyway.

The Bus is parked in North East Fort Law.
Mission 1- IT'S A TRAP! Sonetti's rigged
this to blow if it drops under
50. Keep goin' until we figure
somethin' out.
Speed ripoff! Just go north till you get to a Main Road and follow it west.
Mission 2- The bomb's radio receiver's
disabled. You can pull over
now. Oh yeah - Bubby needs a
couple of Mundanos at Ardler
docks.
Just steal two Pink Mundano's and park them in Ardler Docks.

The Beast GTS is the blue car with the white stripes parked in Southwest Island
Heights.
Mission 1- Two guys tore up the Cat
House in South Island City.
Started on the girls, too. Real
messy. Bubby wants them out
of the way.
Go south west till you get to the main road (the one with the broken bridge)
now go south till the compass changes. Now go west till you see to baddies
(They look like you, not like civilians). They'll start shooting so run over
them.
Mission 2- Some mutha's called the cops.
Get over to Seymour
Reamer's at Brocklyn Docks.
Go east back to the main road and follow it south. Take your 2nd right and
follow this street to Reamer's.

|White Cossie|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
The White Cossie is parked in Northeast Island City.
Mission 1- Pablo needs picking up. Fast.
We left ya a cop car in South
West Park. Go get it.
Go through the small alley north of the large driveway. Now keep going north
till the compass changes the turn left and go west till you get to the Police
Car.
Mission 2- There's a Diamond
Wholesalers in South Island
City. Pablo's waiting outside.
Go back till you get to a Main Road then follow it south. Take the 5th right
after the bridge keep going till you see Pablo.
Mission 3- Damn! It was a fix! Take me
back to my place in South East
Tellburg.
Go east till you get to a Main Road and follow it as south as you can. Now go
east till you get his place.

|Pink Bulldog|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
The Pink Bulldog is parked in Southwest Tellburg.
Mission 1- I just got a call. There's a car
in West Kings that needs to
disappear. Step on it.
Just roughly go east and get into the car.
Mission 2- Every cop on patrol is looking
for this. Take it to Lafferty's
in South Kings.
Just go east and take your third right.
Mission 3- Call that a color? Take it to
Dalgetti's in North Kings.
Go up and take a right and follow the Main Road till you get to Dalgetti's.
He won't like the car so drive around a bit till you get your next orders.
Mission 4- The mobile's being scanned. I'm
callin' North East Kings. Be
there.
Go east till you can't any more. Then go north till your compass changes then
go west till you get to the phone.
Mission 5- I need to talk to this guy.
Alone. Answer the phone in
South East Kings.
Go east till you can't any more, then go south till you get to the phone.
Mission 6- It's cool, you can go back. I
taught the palooka not to
shoot his mouth off.
Go north till the compass changes. Then go west to get to Dalgetti's.
Finishing the Level

After getting 100,000 points or all Main Missions in Gangsta Bang. The arrow
will now point to an alley in North Park here one of Sonetti's men will tell
you "I got a warning for you from bald man Sonetti. Cross him again, I stick a
gun up your butt... ...and blow your eyeballs out." and now you will be able
to play Heist Almighty.

Mission 1- My Sasha's been kidnapped!
The kidnapper's calling the
phone in North West Ardler!
Soon! Please! Save her!
Go down and out of the alley then head North East to the phone, make sure you
park your car so that you can get out quickly.
Mission 2- OK, loser, you do anythin' I
don't tell you, the girl dies.
You got 30 seconds to answer
the phone in Central Estoria.
OK, Quickly get into the car then go east and take your 3rd left into a Main
Road, Now follow it north and take the 2nd right after the bridge section, the
phone should be up ahead.
Mission 3- Feeling fit, huh? Bring the
money to Law Island Bridge
and don't mess me about.
Go back to the Main Road and follow it North, then after the bridge section go
left. Then follow the arrow to the exact collection point.
Mission 4- Hey! Thanks a lot, buddy. I left
the girl in the trunk of a car
in East Eaglewood.
Go east and take the 2nd right now go roughly north till you can't any more.
So now go east (you should be going over a large bridge. Now after this bridge
go R, R, L, R, L & R. Now hop in the white car.
Mission 5- You got her! Is she OK! Bring
her to the Splendido hotel in
North Island City.
Backtrack to the Main Road the bridge on it. Now go east then turn right into
the next Main Road you see follow it south but make sure you gain enough speed
to jump the broken part of the bridge, stay on the right side of the road
(Your right not 1st person). After the broken part take the 2nd right then turn
right then turn into the hotel.
Main Missions

The phones are located in Northwest Fort Law.

Mission 1- You want a cut from a bank
job, you go get the patrol car
in Guernsey City.
Head roughly south till you get to a Main Road. Now follow it west till you
can't any more. Now go south and take the 3rd left and follow this road east
till you get to the Patrol Car. Then get in it.
Mission 2- You wanna be careful with
this thing, it's got more
ooh-la-la than a Brocklyn Lady.
Take it to the North West
Fort Law Bank.
Head north and go 2nd right, left then the 5th right. Then park in front of the
bank don't park inside.
Mission 3- Move ya sorry butt, before
she blows!
Get out of the Patrol Car and get a fair distance away.
Mission 4- A patrol car's waitin' for ya in
North West Hackenslash. Get
it, then get Tommy.
& 5- Damn, these cops are loser's.
Go get m'man from the bank.
AND NO MESSIN' AROUND!
You have 45 seconds to do these missions. Go west till you can't any more. Now
go north to the Patrol Car and get in. Now Back track back to the bank, Park
outside & wait for Tommy to get in!
Mission 6- Some advice, kid. You get
someone thinkin' he's Chuck
Bronson... Don't mess around.
Break his face. Now move!
Follow this road east till it finishes then go right then left. Now take the
2nd right, then go right, then right and park.

Mission 1- Hey, my man! I got some fun for
ya. Go to North Guernsey. I
left a van there.
Go roughly north till you get to a Main Road. Follow it west and take the
second left follow this street to the Van.
Mission 2- There's a sporty car movin'
through town. Blow it to
pieces with these model cars I
fixed with bombs.
This is pretty coll! Go east to a Main Road. Now follow it north till you can't
any more and now go east to the Beast GTS now press the B button.

Mission 1- Sonetti's got a shipment of
gear in. Word is, it's in a van in
West Guernsey City.
Go roughly south till you get to a Main Road. Now follow it west till you can't
any more and now go south to the van.
Mission 2- It's a fix! The van's rigged.
Take it to Vesuvio in North
West Hackenslash.
Go north till you can't any more, then go east and take the 2nd right.
Mission 3- Take this thing to Seymour
Reamer's place in West
Guernsey City.
Go roughly south to Reamer's. (You should go past the L.C.P.D and over some
pavement once)
Mission 4- That moron Seymour called
Look, go to Crazy Bob's place
in East Hackenslash.
Go roughly north till you get to a Main Road. Now go east and take the 6th left
and follow this street to Crazy Bob's.
Mission 5- Get rid of that Reamer for me,
would ya, kid? Head back to
Hackenslash.
& 6- Don't let him get away!
Go south to the Main Road, head west & take 6th left. Now go roughly south and
park outside Reamer's, then you will automatically get out of the car. So just
walk away a bit.

Mission 1- Hey, Sonetti's got a deal goin'
down in South East Estoria.
Waste'em all...
Go south and take a left then a right. Now keep travelling south. Use the
method before to jump the gap in the bridge. Now after the 2nd bridge (The one
over the Freeway) go right, right & right. Now follow the Freeway east till you
see Sonetti's men. There are four to run over.
Mission 2- Get yourself back to Vega's
pad in South Brocklyn.
Go roughly south till your on the edge of the map, Now head west and take the
4th right and go left then right. Then park it.
Mission 3- Bubby's feelin' horny. He
wants the Mayoress. Go get
her. There's a limo in North
Island City you can use.
Head south and go right, left, right (You should be on a Main Road on the
bottom of the map). Now head west and take the 2nd right follow this road to
the Limo.
Mission 4- Her holiness is opening
something in North East New
Guernsey City. Bring her here
before he loses his rag.
Head north and take the second left then turn right then left. Now go roughly
west till you meet the edge of the map. Then go left then take the third
left and follow this street to the mayoress.
Mission 5- You work for Bubby! Oh thank
God. South East Fort Law. And
- uh - HURRY!
Go North West till you get to a Main Road follow it north and take the 7th
right now take another right then a left then follow this road east till
you can't any more then turn left and park.
Side Missions

|1st Pink Mundano|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This Pink Mundano is parked in North West Hackenslash.
Mission 1- There's a shipment of stuff in
the trunk of a car in South
East Hackenslash. Fetch!
Go north till you can't any more. Then go east and take your 8th right and go
roughly south to the car with the drugs. Watch out there is a guy that will
open fire onto you.
Mission 2- Bring the car to Coffey's in
South West Brix. Leave the
stuff alone - it's cut.
Go roughly SE till you get to a Main Road. Now follow it east till you can't
any more. Now go north to Coffey's and park.
Mission 3- The cops picked up Pablo. Last
I heard they were in South
East Estoria. He'd better get
to the office alive...
Go south and take a left. Then follow these directions 2nd right, right, left,
2nd left then right. Now run over the two guards and Pablo will start walking
to the office. Now go ahead north and take out the guard up ahead. Now Pablo
will turn right and go through a alley. So you should go one right ahead and
take out the guard at the end of the alley. Now after the alley follow Pablo
and kill the guard ahead. If by a rare coincidence a car gets in his way, knock
the car out of the way.

This Pink Mundano is parked in North No Law.
Mission 1- The cops are on ya tail.
There's a car ya can use at
the Central Brix hospital.
Go south till you het to a Main Road. Follow it west till it finishes then take
a left then a right. Now follow this street to the car.
Mission 2- Take the car to Mel's Respray
Shop in Central Brocklyn.
Follow these directions: L, L, R, R, L, Last R, R, L, 2nd R.
Mission 3- Bring the car to the
warehouse in Brocklyn docks
and BE CAREFUL! I got a job for
ya!
Go south then turn right. Now take the 2nd Left then go. Right, Left then Right
Now follow this street to the warehouse.
Mission 4- There's a patrol car in South
West Hackenslash. It's clean.
Go get it.
Go east till you get to a Main Road. Now follow it north and take the 6th left
(The one before the 2nd bridge). No go right then left and you should be on the
EW Freeway. Follow it west and take the last right into the NS Freeway. Now
follow it north to the Patrol Car.
Mission 5- Go to the North Fort Law
Military base. A buddy of
mine's got some REAL hot
stuff.
Go north and go left, left, left then the 6th right. Now run over the two
guards and pick him up.
Mission 6- I got the files. Damn! Aliens.
Kennedys. Gremlin. Everythin'!
Let's get outta here!
Go to the western exit and turn left. Now follow this Main Road all the way to
the bottom of the map. Then go east and take the 5th left. Then go right and
park were the arrow points.

|White Cossie|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
The White Cossie is parked in Southeast Brix
Mission 1- The Angels stole a car and
some of the boss' more - ah -
private home videos. Get them
back. Fast.
Head north and go left, left, right, left then follow this road south to the
car with the videos. Kill the two bikers then hop in.
Mission 2- Come to the hotel in North
East Tellburg. Hey! Maybe we
can look at those tapes
before we give'em back...
Go down to the Main Road and follow it west. Now when it finishes you will have
to navigate through the boxes and trees to the back of the Hotel.
Mission 3- You saved the boss some
money there. Listen, Cabot's
coming into town to see
Sonetti. Follow him. I want them
dead.
Now you have to kill Cabot he's in a Bug like the one your probably in now.
Most of the time he starts in Estoria on the EW Freeway and slowly goes west.
When the EW Freeway stops in Guernsey City he turns right and follows the NS
Freeway north till it stops. Then he turns right and goes east a little until
he parks it in North Hackenslash and walks to the bank. But if you go to far
ahead off him he will change route. You have two choices:
1· Park in front of him blocking his car. Then get into his car drive away a
bit then get out and open fire on his car till it explodes.
2· Follow him and let him rob the bank so you can do the next missions.
Mission 4- There's a car in Central
Hackenslash and it's packed
with punch. Go pick it up.
Note: These directions are taken from Cabot's parked Bug.
Go east to the parked car.
Mission 5- Head back to Sonetti's place.
The bald man's inside with Joe
and Eddie.
Now head back west stop in front of the bank and run away fast.

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
The Pink Stallion is parked in North Hackenslash.
Mission 1- The DA's in West Eaglewood
Hospital with an ingrown
toenail. Bubby wants to talk
to him. Go get an ambulance.
Go west and go left now follow this Main Road south to the Ambulance. Head
North with Ambulance and take the 4th right (Including the one straight to the
right of the Ambulance). Now take the 5th left then go right and pick up the
District Attorney.
Mission 2- Bring the schmuck to the
meat warehouse in Central
Brix.
Head west and turn left then left again. Now follow this Main Road east till it
finishes then turn left then right. Now follow this street to the Meat
Warehouse.
Mission 3- Hang the schmuck from a

car to the offices in North
East Island City.
Head west and take the 2nd right, Now turn right then take the 3rd left. Now go
roughly south crossing the pavement once to get to the office.

The Porka Turbo is parked in Southwest Kings.
Mission 1- Jimmy needs a good driver.
There's a car waitin' for ya at
South Brocklyn Docks.
Head west till you get to a Main Road, now follow it south and take a right now
go roughly west till you get to the car.
Mission 2- I want Jimmy picked up NOW!
He's at the National Reserve
Bank in South Ardler.
Head east and follow these directions: L, R, R, L then the 3rd left. Now go
roughly north to Jimmy.
Mission 3- How ya doin', man? Let's get
outta here! Bubby's place is in
North West Kings.
Go south to the Main Road and follow it east but take the third right, now park
it where the arrow tells you.
Mission 4- An overrated hitman called
Dumb Kirt just hit town. Hit
him with a rigged car.
Head north to the Main Road and follow it east and take the third left Kirt
should be there so run him over.

The Pink Bulldog is parked in East Guernsey City.
Mission 1- No, someone's kidnapped my
wife! I gotta get her back
before anyone notices. Go to
the phone in North West
Hackenslash.
Just go roughly north till you get to the north edge of the Map then go in the
direction the arrow.
Mission 2- Hey, Bring the money to the
phone in South East
Hackenslash. Now.
Go east and take the 7th right now go roughly south till the end street and
take left to the phone.
Mission 3- OK, North East Brix. Quick!
Head southeast till you get to a EW running Main Road till it finishes then
go left, right, left then take the 2nd right.
Mission 4- You made it! Good. Go to the
Eaglewood bridge and throw
the money to the boat.
Head west and go left, right, left then right now follow this Main Road to
the dropoff point.

The Pink 4×4 is parked in West New Guernsey.
Mission 1- You wan't some easy cash? I
got a friend in need of two
Pickups at Island View docks.
Follow the arrow to the specific Pickups and take them to the awkward
Island View Docks.
Mission 2- There's a guy in North East
Guernsey City and he don't
wanna pay me.
Basically head to the NS Freeway and kill the 2 blokes in the building
there.
Finishing the Level

After getting 200,000 in Heist Almighty. The arrow will now point to an office
in North Park here Bubby will tell you "Nice work kid but we are in big trouble
now. The cops are crawling up my butt with flashlights looking for you. I
booked you a flight to San Andreas." and now you will be able to play Mandarin
Mayhem in San Andreas.
