* Not finished.
** Will never be finished.
NOTE: The "Code: (____)" is how to get to the section quickly. Here's how:
1) Do the Find command. (If you don't have this command, skip this Code thing.)
2) Type in the code of your desire, in ALL CAPS.
3) Turn Match Case on.
4) Hit Find. You'll either be at the Table of Content's code, or at the section
with the code. If you're at the Table of Contents, hit Find again.
5) Ta-da.
Also, if I mention a section in part of the guide, I will probably also add the
code, but instead of (____), I'll do: [____]. This is so you don't link to the
part that isn't the code. Using the Find Command, instead of doing it with []s,
change them to ()s.

V. 0.01 - 06/18/03 : Began the FAQ.
V. 0.30 - 06/29/03 : Finished with Easy Challenge, Hard Level 2, and all of the
things which are needed for any FAQ: Table of Contents,
Introduction, Conclusion & Thanks, and Legal Crud.
V. 0.35 - 07/01/03 : Finished with Kolossal #2 and Medium race 1. I then worked
on the Robot Racers section, and I have to add the secret
characters (besides Brutix) to it.
V. 0.70 - 07/02/03 : First, I finished Robot Racers (and did some formatting to
it). I finished Medium 2 and 3, completing the Medium
challenge. Only 3 more races to go...
V. 0.76 - 07/03/03 : I finished Hard Race 1. I aslo did a little fixing up of
Hard Race 2.
V. 0.77 07/18/03 : I did a little fixing up to the Thanks part of this guide.
I need to finish 2 more races, which I haven't really been
wanting to do...I also added another section, which I call
"FAQ for This FAQ." I finished it.

There are going to be times in this guide of mumbo-jumbo where you cannot
understand what is going on. I know it from proofreading this guide. So, here
is a Frequently Asked Questions (which haven't been asked, I just like
acronyms). If you can't read this section, well, you wouldn't be reading this
sentence.
And now, here is what you have been waiting for.

To make a long story short, I love this game so I wrote an FAQ.
To make a short story long.........
I went over to my friend's house. I had brought my GameBoy. I wanted to play
some of his games, he wanted to play some of mine. He played Looney Toons and I
played Cubix: Race N Robots. Cubix: Race N Robots became my favorite GameBoy
game pak of all time. He let me borrow it, and I let him borrow Looney Toons.
I was happy to get rid of the annoying beeping noises.
Summer then began, and my friend continued to let me borrow Cubix: Race N
Robots (and I let him borrow Looney Toons) and bring it to Yellowstone National
Park. Half of the reason I had fun in Yellowstone was because of decoding (and
playing) Cubix: Race N Robots. I figured out most of the passwords from this
game. And I still got to borrow it for three weeks on Maui, Hawai'i. I had
begun a Cubix: Race N Robots FAQ/Guide for GameFAQs.

KOLOSSAL #2 RACE MAP
__________
/ \ Kolossal gets harder each time, and this is time 2. He is not
/*#########* \ as fast as you think, and he seems fast because of his good
/* ________ * \ handling, especially on this twisty level. In most levels, you
|* | \ * \ shouldn't solex too much or you ram into walls. In this race,
|# | | #| however, you can solex pretty much all that you want. Here is
|# | | #| a descriptive walkthrough of the race. You start the race. Do
|# | | #| NOT solex just yet. You will enter a right turn, so turn
|# | | *| ___ __________________________ relatively
|# | | *| | | | LEGEND: | sharply to
|# | | *\____________| | | * = General Path | continue with-

|# | \______________ * | |=*= = Finish/Lap Line | to get your
|# | | * | |__________________________| racer to be
|# | | *| going completely straight, and towards the
|# |____ | *| bottom, because you don't want to get stuck
|# \ | *| in the hazard off-road spot on the top.
|# | ____ | *| Then, after passing a bit farther, make a
|# ____/ | | | * | sharp turn to the far right side of the
|# | _________| |___/* | track. Get straight or you'll get stuck a
|# | / ****************** / lot. As soon as you see the dead end, make
|# | / * __________________/ the sharpest left curve without actually
|# | / * / turning yourself around, then solex away. You don't HAVE to stop
|# | | * | solexing around the corner. However, at the next corner, I'd
|# | |=*=| really recommend stopping, turning, then solexing again. Turn
| * \ | * | down at the corner, straighten yourself out, and hold (A) and (B)
\ * \__/ * / at the same time. There isn't enough solex (I think) to get you
\ ****** / through this entire HUGE stretch, so when you stop solexing, you
\______/ should keep going, just slower. When the solex stops, you can let
go of (B). Then, curve right, go up, and the lap/race is over.

| #+ @+ / * _________/ the big long stretches. At the long, downward part,
| #|++++ / * / make sure that you stop "solexing" when there is a corner. At
| #| | * | this time, you can cut the corner because there is a simple
| #| | * | track cut, and you can pick up some solex if there is some. Then
| #| | * | after the track cut, you can solex on until it goes vertically,
| #| | * | then curve, and then you can either keep boosting along up until
| #| | * | the curve to the right, or, you can stop and save the solex. My
| #| | * | strategy would be, if you are far ahead, keep the solex, but if
| #| | * | there are robots in front or just behind you, boost away until
| #| |=*=| the curve. If they are still ahead, don't worry if they get
| #| | * | ahead. Just remember to solex away at the long stretches. The
| *| | * | computers our not as intelligent as you (hopefully), so they
| * | * | don't think to boost themselves forward at the convenient spots.
\ *___/ * / This is a pretty hard race in the game, so play the race a lot
\ #### / so you can learn about it and how it is laid out (because my
\________/ ASCII art is bad), then you will make the race so much easier.

::::::::::::::::::::: | LEGEND: | Just get ahead with the above

: |_______________| : racer, you have gotten far enough ahead to win the race,
: : piece of cake, and so this delay won't affect the race
::::::::::::::::::::: very much. If they are right there, however, that big
vertical stretch is right there, you can boost away and get ahead, so this
isn't a bad place for a delay-hopefully.

*6Da. Levels* Code: (LVLS)

The first digit, (#?????) is the level code. Enter these codes for these levels
to be completed.

|--------------|---------------| | E# = Easy Race # Completed |

| E1 E2 E3 | F |
| EA | 9 |
| M1 | 5 | The way I figured this out, in case you wanted
| M2 | 1 | to know, is I wrote it down on a chart. I
| M3 | S | wrote every legal combination down, and then
| M1 M2 | X | I wrote down the character code. The character
| M1 M3 | N | code is a code where each Letter/Number has a
| M2 M3 | J | number. I saw a pattern. The pattern is, for
| M1 M2 M3 | D | example, look at the E1 code. It is 6. Now,
| MA | 8 | look at M1. It is 5. And H1 is 4. See a little
| H1 | 4 | pattern? Look at E1, E2, & E3. It is F. Then
| H2 | 0 | M1, M2, & M3. It's D, because there aren't any
| H3 | R | vowels. Look at H1, H2, H3. C. It shrinks by
| H1 H2 | W | one. I hadn't figured it all out, but I saw a
| H1 H3 | M | pattern and filled it all in.
| H2 H3 | H |
| H1 H2 H3 | C |
| HA | B |
|______________|_______________|
However, it is not that easy. Normally, if you enter, for example, a B, which
beats the game, but the 4th character, Stats [STAT], is the first stat, you
will wind up with something wrong. You have to go to the Stat section, section
6Dd, code is [STAT].

As with most password games, there is at least one digit which just makes it
harder to figure out the password, to decrease the chance that you'll get a
password if you just do random letters and numbers. This is called a "check
digit," and that is how I'll refer to it.
This check digit is very simple. Add up all of the digits, add 9, divide by 32
and the remainder is the letter/number.
You don't know how to do that. But here is a better description.
_______
| 0 | 0 | The left side is the actual digit in the game, and the right side is
| 1 | 1 | the number of that digit.
| 2 | 2 |
| 3 | 3 | ~-STEP 1.-~
| 4 | 4 | Take digit 1 through digit 5 and convert to the character code #.
| 5 | 5 |
| 6 | 6 | ~-STEP 2.-~
| 7 | 7 | Add the chacter code numbers up.
| 8 | 8 |
| 9 | 9 | ~-STEP 3.-~
| * |10 | Add 9 to all of that.
| B |11 |
| C |12 | ~-STEP 4.-~
| D |13 | Divide that number by 32 and get the remainder.
| F |14 |
| G |15 | ~-STEP 5.-~
| H |16 | Take the remainder, find it on the chart, and find the character (not
| J |17 | the code).
| K |18 |
| L |19 | That is it! You have found the check digit. I have written a program
| M |20 | for myself which does this for me, and I will be releasing it on the
| N |21 | internet soon (I hope).
