1.0 Introduction
=============================================================================
Well after checking out *GSCCC to see thier offerings, I saw that they had
no codes for items, which was really what I was after. Going along to a few
of my other favourite sites GameFaQs and VgaStrategies I came up empty-handed
again so I decided to break out my GameShark and hack a few for myself. I
found it was not going to be easy.
Remember GAMESHARK codes can damage your game, if you have put them in wrong.
I will not take any responsibility for people who use these codes..

2.0 Item Codes
=============================================================================
Hacking items can be daunting because of the system that Azure uses to store
thier items. There are 4 codes which make up an item. Item Type and Item
Reference are the first 2 codes and hold the key to the type of item you
want. The Item Adjustment Code is valid for items that have charges or pluses
Finally the Item Identifier Code, which is 10 to show that the item is
identified
Item Type and Reference
-----------------------
These are the first 2 codes that are needed to tell your system what item to
use. These are important and are paired together to get valid items. A list
will later follow of the pairing
Item Adjustment
---------------
This is valid for items that have pluses or in the case of Orbs, have charges
The last is the trickiest which won't be dealt with in this and FAQ that is
the Monster Reference Point, and is not necessary for the codes I will give
The following are used to make the adjustment have 99 charges or pluses
For orbs use the code 63 [replace the xx in the adjustment code]
For sowrds, shields or the Armwand use the code E3
Item Identifier Code
--------------------
You should always use the code 10 for this, it means that you have identified
the item
=============================================================================
3.0 Item Code Tables
=============================================================================
Now to show you the tables you will need to use to hack you're items
Item Data Ranges
----------------
As you have seen there are 4 modifiers [codes] for an item. There are 20
items in total. Listed are the starting and ending points for the Data Ranges
for all 20 Inventory Items. A slot represents where in the inventory the item
will lie. later tables will describe the CODES themselves you will need to
replace either the ** or xx values
Itm Type = Item Type
Itm Ref = Item Reference
Itm Adj = Item Adjustment
Itm Id = Item identified
Slot Itm Type Itm Ref Itm Adj Itm Id
------------------------------------------
1 01**40D8 01**41D8 01xx42D8 011043D8
2 01**44D8 01**45D8 01xx46D8 011047D8
3 01**48D8 01**49D8 01xx4AD8 01104BD8
4 01**4CD8 01**4DD8 01xx4ED8 01104FD8
5 01**50D8 01**51D8 01xx52D8 011053D8

7 01**58D8 01**59D8 01xx5AD8 01105BD8
8 01**5CD8 01**5DD8 01xx5ED8 01105FD8
9 01**60D8 01**61D8 01xx62D8 011063D8
10 01**64D8 01**65D8 01xx66D8 011067D8
11 01**68D8 01**69D8 01xx6AD8 01106BD8
12 01**6CD8 01**6DD8 01xx6ED8 01106FD8
13 01**70D8 01**71D8 01xx72D8 011073D8
14 01**74D8 01**75D8 01xx76D8 011077D8
15 01**78D8 01**79D8 01xx7AD8 01107BD8
16 01**7CD8 01**7DD8 01xx7ED8 01107FD8
17 01**80D8 01**81D8 01xx82D8 011083D8
18 01**84D8 01**85D8 01xx86D8 011087D8
19 01**88D8 01**89D8 01xx8AD8 01108BD8
20 01**8CD8 01**8DD8 01xx8ED8 01108FD8
So if you wanted to hack the item in your Inventory Slot 13, you would use
the 4 codes to make the item in Inventory Slot 13

4.0 Item Code Example
=============================================================================
Here I will go through an example of how to enter a item code in.
4.1 Blessire Sword +99 Example
------------------------------
Lets say we wanted a Blessire Sword in Item Slot 3
Looking up the Inventory Slots we get this for Slot 3
Slot Itm Type Itm Ref Itm Adj Itm Id
------------------------------------------
3 01**48D8 01**49D8 01xx4AD8 01104BD8
So we will need a code for the Itm Type, Itm Ref and Itm Adj. We will need to
look these up
The Itm Type for a sword is 55
The Itm Ref for the Blessire Sword is 01
We are also informed that the Itm Adj should be E3
So converting these into codes we would get
015548D8 - Item Type
010149D8 - Item Reference
01E34AD8 - Item Adjustment
01104BD8 - Item Identified
Wallah we have just hacked us a Blessire +99 Sword. As you can see its just
a matter of referring to a few tables before entering in a code. Once you
start, then you'll get the hang of it

7.0 Final Words
============================================================================
I went looking for codes for the items because I was too lazy to get the
prices of the items for my FAQ I did. After finding out all this information
I am now not surprised that I couldn't find it on the Net. There are a few
codes I have not put up, some are meaningless and have no real impact at all
There is an Item Type for "hatched" Tameons, however the Adjustment code it
uses refers to sections in your game, that at this time would take awhile
to decipher.
