Unlike its predecessor on the Play Station The GB Version adds more monsters and Levels at the expense of the mini-quests of getting girls to fall in love with you, perhaps a good thing too. The potential of an active trainer and abilty to "arm" a couple monsters is sadly set back by the limited storyline and size of the game. Overall a fun game to play and one that seems more fit for the GB format. 1.1 FAQ Overview ---------------- This is not a WALKTHROUGH or FUSION FAQ. You will find that many tameons are NOT found in the Tower or Basement, this means that they will need to be FUSED. 1.2 Updates from Version 0.71 ----------------------------- Just did some reformatting of the FAQ, No major additions. 1.3 Tower, SkyTower and Basement -------------------------------- Although stated that this is not a Strategy Guide, it is clear that certain places need to be pointed out Tower     - Where you test your strength, collecting treasures and tameons SkyTower  - This is the very top of the Tower. Once you have reached level            30 in the Tower. Walk forward, past the WindGem, you will see a            white square surrounded by 4 red squares. walk onto it to gain            access to the SkyTower. A Grey pillar is what you want to head            towards, so go straight up as soon as you enter the SkyTower.            MAKE SURE you have seen the animation of the Basement becoming            available before continuing            Behind the grey pillar is where you will encounter Birds that            will drop eggs if you have room in your inventory, so make room            before walking there Basement  - Once you have reached the SkyTower, you will then gain access to            the Basement. The Entrance is on the 1st Level of the Tower, it            is marked by the BLUE portals/spheres. Make sure you have            seen the animation of "The Monster of Legends" telling you that            the Basement has been opened when you were at the SkyTower =============================================================================                             2.0 Monster Details ============================================================================= Also called Tameons, can help and aid you during this game, in fact they end up being stronger than you because of the spells and the fact that they don't lose thier levels as you do when you exit the Tower. 2.1 Monster Listing ------------------- The following listings has a few things that need to be pointed out. The details that don't have a heading are, Monsters Alignment, Monsters Alignment Spell and the Spell and Traits. Monster Alignment is what element the monster belongs to when an egg is hatched, it Alignment Spell is the spell it gets when its hatched. The Spells and Traits listed opposite to the Alignment Spells are the spells or traits the monster gets when it is hatched Where a monster can be found in the Tower or Basement, then it is possible to use a OvaSeed on them to turn them into an Egg. Spells,Skills and Traits ============================================================================= Spells, Skill and Traits are a monsters special attack move, they cost Magic Points to use and can have devastating effects. 4.1 Overview ------------ Alignment or Element spells are spells a monster gets for being in the class of Fire, Water or Wind. Skills and Traits are things which a monster may have the ability to pass on through fusion. This includes the resale price of the items which is listed by them. You will notice by some of the listings will be a figure in brackets [], this is the adjustment used for when an item gets pluses by its name. To calculate the resale value is Resale value = Base value+({Plus value - 1}*[Adjustment]) Resale value = The final price you will get for your item Base Value   = The cost of the item when its at +1 [+1 and 0 are the same] Plus Value   = The + of an item OR the number of charges in an Orb Adjustment   = The value you get for every plus [charge] after the first one Example We have a FireWire +5, and we want to know the Resale Value Firewire   400 A sword of Fire class. [100] The Base Value is 400, Plus Value is 5, Adjustment is 100.... so Resale Value = 400 + ((5-1)*100)             = 400 + (4*100)             = 400 + 400 We would get 800 coins for selling our FireWire +5 It was questioned whether or not some of the items could be found, after thinking about it, I decided to leave the FAQ as it stands, but to inform you that I used a GameShark to get the item prices, as waiting until I found every available item would have taken an eternity.
