Section 1: Overview
--------------------

Zoids.  It's half of the title of the game, so you know they're
important.  The collecting nature of the game (ala Pokemon) revolves around
acquiring, improving, and battling with the 143 different Zoid types in the
game.  But which Zoid is best?  (A loaded question.)  Well, at the very
least, which Zoid is the fastest?  And what does the dangerous looking gun
mounted underneath my Zoid do, exactly?

If you're wondering, then this guide is for you.

---------------------------
Section 2: Version History
---------------------------

0.6b (3/25/02): Preliminary version.  Several translation issues, but
this is workable enough, I think, for a release.  Hopefully the number of
requrests for data codes will drop sharply.  Section 4 is also completely
unfinished.

-----------------------------------
Section 3: Zoids In-Depth Analysis
-----------------------------------

These are the 143 normal Zoids that can be constructed throughout the
game.  Each entry is detailed as follows:

Zoid Name (Memory Address):
Size Class, Land/Sea/Air Zoid
Build Requirements (Cores, Zoids, Parts)
Build Cost
HP  EP  SP(eed)  D(e)F(ense)
Weapons Racks (Offensive/Defensive, Defensive, Fixed)
Armament in Detail
Notes

The values given reflect all components in the standard version of the Zoid
(e.g., the speed of the Liger Zero JA already incorporates the increase from
the Ion Booster).  To apply the memory address as a cheat, simply set the
value at that memory address to 1.  Use the 8-bit, unsigned setting.

Iron Kong (2003f40):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core ZN
Build Cost: 43,200 G
HP: 150  EP: 40  SP: 150  DF: 20%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hammer Knuckle
     Attack: 43  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: 6 Barrel Missile
     Attack: 38  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 2-3 Pierce
Notes:  A standard Imperial Iron Kong.  Generally strong, but lacking in
speed when compared to many Republic Zoids.  Also, the Iron Kong only mounts
a single Offensive Weapons Rack.

Iron Kong Mark II S (2003f41):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Iron Kong
Build Cost: 74,400 G
HP: 240  EP: 50  SP: 150  DF: 30%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hammer Knuckle
     Attack: 70  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Beam Launcher
     Attack: 54  Accuracy: 98%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: An improved Iron Kong, with extra armor.  The armor can be stripped to
form the Mark II regular variant.  The 6 Barrel Missile unit has been
replaced with a beam launcher, and the attack strength of the arms has been
nearly doubled.

Iron Kong Mark II (2003f42):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Iron Kong Mark II S
Build Cost: 68,800 G
HP: 230  EP: 45  SP: 150  DF: 25%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hammer Knuckle
     Attack: 67  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: 6 Barrel Missile
     Attack: 57  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Notes: An improved Iron Kong variant.  Generated by stripping the extra armor
from a Mark II S and returning the 6 Barrel Missile launcher in the shoulder.
Still much more potent than the Iron Kong, and the start point for several
other modifications.

Iron Kong PK (2003f43):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Iron Kong Mark II
Build Cost: 93,600 G
HP: 290  EP: 55  SP: 170  DF: 35%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hammer Knuckle
     Attack: 67  Accuracy: 100%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Beam Launcher
     Attack: 81  Accuracy: 98%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: A modified Iron Kong Mark II.  In many respects, superior to the Iron
Kong Mark II S, except the arm strength is less.  Like the Mark II S, the
shoulder mounted missile launcher has been replaced with a Beam Launcher.
However, the PK variant's Beam Launcher is 50% more powerful.  This version
is also moderately more durable and is faster.

Iron Kong SS (2003f44):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Iron Kong Mark II, BG Unit
Build Cost: 93,600 G
HP: 290  EP: 55  SP: 170  DF: 35%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hammer Knuckle
     Attack: 67  Accuracy: 100%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Beam Gatling
     Attack: 68  Accuracy: 98%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-3 Spread
Notes: A specialized Iron Kong Mark II variant built for Major Karl
Schubaltz.  Since Schubaltz prefers the Beam Gatling unit, the 6 Barrel
Missile unit was stripped from the shoulder and replaced with the BG unit.
It has statistics like the PK variant, but the BG Unit makes this variant
more effective against groups.

Iron Kong MA (2003f45):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Iron Kong Mark II, MS Unit
Build Cost: 76,800 G
HP: 250  EP: 45  SP: 1670  DF: 28%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hammer Knuckle
     Attack: 67  Accuracy: 100%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: 6 Barrel Missile
     Attack: 57  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Fixed Armament 3: Extreme Maneuver Unit
     Speed + 1500
Range: Self  EP Cost: 0  Turns: Always
Notes: A specialized Iron Kong Mark II that has been fitted with the CP-11
Maneuver Thruster Pack.  This gives the normal slow Iron Kong unprecedented
speed.  Otherwise, it has similar armament to the standard Mark II model.

Red Horn (2003f46):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core ZN
Build Cost: 46,400 G
HP: 150  EP: 40  SP: 130  DF: 30%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
   Weapons Rack 2: Linear Cannon
     Attack: 54  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 2-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 1: Horn Crash
     Attack: 43  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Notes: An Imperial Zoid of medium effectiveness.  The combination of the Horn
Crash and Linear Cannon gives this Zoid a means of dealing with near and far
targets.

Red Horn BG (2003f47):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: BG Unit
Build Cost: 62,400 G
HP: 200  EP: 40  SP: 130  DF: 30%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Horn Crash
     Attack: 43  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Beam Gatling
     Attack: 45  Accuracy: 98%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-2 Spread
Notes: A modification of the Red Horn.  The Beam Gatling gives this version a
distinct edge in combat against groups of enemies.  This version also has
additional endurance, making it very suitable for front-line duty.  In order
to accommodate the BG Unit, however, one of the Offensive Weapons Racks had
to be converted to a Defensive Rack.

Dark Horn (2003f48):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Red Horn
Build Cost: 76,000 G
HP: 245  EP: 45  SP: 130  DF: 30%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
   Weapons Rack 2: Hiblit Vulcan
     Attack: 48  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Spread
   Fixed Armament 1: Horn Crash
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Notes: An evolution of the Red Horn, the Imperial Dark Horn is a better
performer in all categories.  While the Hiblit Vulcan lacks heavy punch,
single targets might better be engaged with the improved Horn Crash.

Elephander (2003f49):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core ED
Build Cost: 241,600 G
HP: 360  EP: 80  SP: 130  DF: 40%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Weapons Rack 2: 105mm Beam
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 4  Range: 1-3 Square
Fixed Armament 1: Twin (possibly Swing) Tusk
     Attack: 97  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Notes: An Imperial heavy assault model.  The Elephander is as fast as a Red
Horn, but has over twice the HP, EP, and 50% more defense.  Also, the Twin
Tusks are much more effective melee weapons.  However, no additional
Offensive Weapons can be mounted on this model without removing the 105mm
Beam weapon.

Elephander SC (2003f4a):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Elephander
Build Cost: 241,600 G
HP: 360  EP: 80  SP: 130  DF: 40%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Twin (possibly Swing) Tusk
     Attack: 90  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Notes: A scouting variant of the Elephander, this version has been stripped
of most of its offensive weapons.  Also, the Twin Tusk attack is slightly
weaker.  Generally, there are no advantages to using this model.

Elephander CM (2003f4b):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Elephander
Build Cost: 232,800 G
HP: 360  EP: 80  SP: 130  DF: 35%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Weapons Rack 2: 105mm Beam
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 4  Range: 1-3 Square
Fixed Armament 1: Twin (possibly Swing) Tusk
     Attack: 90  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Notes: The command variant of the Elephander.  The Twin Tusk attack has been
slightly weakened.  Apart from that, there are no major changes between this
version and the standard Elephander.

Elephander AG (2003f4c):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Elephander
Build Cost: 232,800 G
HP: 360  EP: 80  SP: 130  DF: 35%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: AG Unit
     Attack: 97  Accuracy: 110%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Spread
Notes: A specialized Elephander variant built around the CP-15 Assault
Gatling (AG) Unit.  This is a very strong weapon that can be used against
single targets or groups of enemies, and does not require additional EP to
fire.  However, no other weapons can be mounted on this platform, and even
the Twin Tusk attack has been removed.

Saber Tiger (2003f4d):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core ZN
Build Cost: 28,000 G
HP: 110  EP: 20  SP: 200  DF: 8%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: 2 Barrel Beam
     Attack: 27  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 1: Killer Saber
     Attack: 36  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Laser Machine Gun [Laser Kijuu]
     Attack: 27  Accuracy: 94%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-2 Spread
Notes: A standard Imperial model, with parallels to the Helic Republic's
Shield Liger family of Zoids.  The Saber Tiger has strong attack values at a
variety of ranges.  With the standard 2 Barrel Beam weapon, the Saber Tiger
can cover the field with Spread or Single fire from any position on the
battleground.

Zaber Tiger (2003f4e):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Saber Tiger
Build Cost: 35,200 G
HP: 135  EP: 25  SP: 240  DF: 10%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: 2 Barrel Beam
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 1: Killer Saber
     Attack: 43  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Laser Machine Gun [Laser Kijuu]
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 94%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-2 Spread
Notes: An improved Saber Tiger in all respects.  There is nothing the Saber
Tiger can do that the Zaber Tiger cannot do better.

Zaber Tiger RS (2003f4f):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zaber Tiger, Shadow OS
Build Cost: 89,600 G
HP: 300  EP: 30  SP: 800  DF: 25%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: 2 Barrel Beam
     Attack: 54  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 4  Range: 1-3 Square
   Fixed Armament 1: Killer Saber
     Attack: 45  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Laser Machine Gun [Laser Kijuu]
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 94%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-2 Spread
Notes: The personal Zoid of Raven, the Zaber Tiger RS is enhanced by the
Organoid Shadow.  This makes it over twice as durable as a standard Zaber
Tiger.  Further, it is nearly four times as fast and twice as heavily
armored.  Its weapon systems also enjoy a considerable bonus, most evidenced
in the upgraded 2 Barrel Beam carried in the central Weapons Rack.

Zaber Tiger SS (2003f50):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zaber Tiger, BG Unit
Build Cost: 36,800 G
HP: 135  EP: 30  SP: 240  DF: 15%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Killer Saber
     Attack: 45  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Beam Gatling
     Attack: 32  Accuracy: 98%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-2 Spread
Notes: A special variant Zaber Tiger built for Major Schubaltz.  The Laser
Gun is replaced with Schubaltz's favorite Beam Gatling, which has less power
usage and slightly more accuracy.  It is also slightly more armored and has
more energy storage than a standard Zaber Tiger.

Zaber Tiger AT (2003f51):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zaber Tiger or Saber Tiger, Assault Unit
Build Cost: 36,800 G
HP: 135  EP: 30  SP: 240  DF: 15%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Killer Saber
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Assault Beam Cannon [Assault Beam Hou]
     Attack: 38  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-2 Single
   Fixed Armament 3: 8-Barrel Missile
     Attack: 37  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Notes: A Zaber Tiger modified with the CP-02 Flight Pack.  This converts one
of the central Weapons Rack into a Defensive Only-type.  However, the Flight
Pack provides two additional weapons systems: the Assault Beam Cannon, which
is more effective than the 2 Barrel Beam mounted on most Zaber Tigers, and an
8-Barrel Missile launcher that provides a strong group attack (Pierce).

Zaber Tiger FT (2003f52):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zaber Tiger or Saber Tiger
Build Cost: 36,800 G
HP: 135  EP: 30  SP: 240  DF: 15%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Killer Saber
     Attack: 45  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Notes: A Zaber Tiger variant, the FT has been stripped of its laser gun in
favor of additional armor and more energy storage.

Helcat (2003f53):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core ZN
Build Cost: 16,800 G
HP: 100  EP: 25  SP: 990  DF: 8%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: 2 Barrel Accelerator Beam
     Attack: 33  Accuracy: 85%
EP Cost: 0  Range 1-3 Single
Fixed Armament 1: Laser Machine Gun [Laser Kijuu]
     Attack: 27  Accuracy: 94%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-2 Spread
   Fixed Armament 2: Optical Camouflage
     Speed + 800
Range: Self  EP Cost: 0  Turns: Always
Notes: A special Zoid with very high speed and stealth abilities.  The
additional of Optical Camouflage to all Helcats greatly increases the speed
of this unit.  However, it is weaker than the Saber Tiger family of Zoids,
having less armor and weaker weaponry.

Lightning Saix (2003f54):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Saber Tiger or Zaber Tiger, Limiter OS
Build Cost: 31,200 G
HP: 180  EP: 35  SP: 325  DF: 10%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: Pulse Laser Cannon
     Attack: 45  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-3 Spread
   Fixed Armament 1: Killer Fang
     Attack: 54  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: A high speed Imperial attack Zoid.  While the Lightning Saix has few
built-in weapons, its high speed allows it to make melee attacks throughout
the entire battlefield.  The standard Pulse Laser Cannon mounted in the
central Weapons Rack gives the Saix the ability to deal with groups of
enemies.

Lightning Saix A (2003f55):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Lightning Saix, Implant Data
Build Cost: 40,000 G
HP: 220  EP: 40  SP: 325  DF: 15%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: Pulse Laser Cannon
     Attack: 45  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-3 Spread
   Fixed Armament 1: Killer Fang
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: A customized Lightning Saix built for Irvine.  This variant has
improved endurance, energy capacity, defense, and striking ability, making it
an altogether more potent Zoid.

Lightning Saix B (2003f56):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Lightning Saix, BS Unit
Build Cost: 40,000 G
HP: 220  EP: 40  SP: 325  DF: 15%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
   Weapons Rack 2: Beam Cannon
     Attack: 80  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 4  Range: 1-3 Spread
   Fixed Armament 1: Killer Fang
     Attack: 54  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: An enhanced Lightning Saix.  The BS Unit replaces the Pulse Laser
Cannon with a weapon of nearly twice the potency.  While its basic statistics
are similar to the Saix A, the Saix B does not have the increased striking
power in its claws.  Since the Beam Cannon can be replaced, the Lightning
Saix A is generally a better Zoid.

Dark Spiner (2003f57):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core SP
Build Cost: 116,000 G
HP: 360  EP: 90  SP: 700  DF: 35%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Ankle Claw
     Attack: 86  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: A highly secretive Imperial Zoid, the Dark Spiner is a high
performance multi-mission Zoid.  While it lacks built-in ranged weaponry, the
very high natural speed of the Dark Spiner allows it to make slashing attacks
with its Claws throughout the battlefield.  Two ranged weapons can be added
in the pair of Offensive Weapons Racks.

Gator (2003f58):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core ZN
Build Cost: 2,400 G
HP: 18  EP: 10  SP: 200  DF: 5%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Small Caliber Beam Cannon
     Attack: 12  Accuracy: 80%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-2 Single
Fixed Armament 2: GPS Magnetic Detector [GPS Jiki Tanchiki]
     Accuracy + 20%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: A small scouting platform, the Gator is an extremely poor Zoid that is
suited only for support roles.  It lacks the ability to mount any additional
weapons, and its single Small Caliber Beam Cannon does virtually no damage.
The GPS Magnetic Detector in the dorsal fin is generally wasted, since the
Gator has such poor attack abilities.

Gator Radome S (2003f59):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Gator, Radome Unit
Build Cost: 8,800 G
HP: 50  EP: 25  SP: 200  DF: 15%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: 3D Radome
     Accuracy + 35%
Range: Ally  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: A slightly more capable Gator variant, the Gator Radome S has no
weapons and cannot mount any.  However, the 3D Radome mounted on this Zoid
allows it to support friendly Zoids by relaying information on the enemy to
other firing computers.  Also, this variant has much more survivability than
a standard Gator.

Death Saurer (2003f5a):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core DZ
Build Cost: 308,800 G
HP: 650  EP: 250  SP: 90  DF: 40%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Bite Fang
     Attack: 110  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Large Caliber Charged Particle Cannon
     Attack: 200  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 16  Range: 1-3 Square
   Fixed Armament 3: Smash Tail
     Attack: 110  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Spread
Notes: The massive Imperial assault platform feared by many in the Republic.
Death Saurers are heavily armed and armored, and can use their fangs and
tails to wreak havoc on nearby enemy Zoids.  Further, it has a Large Caliber
Charged Particle Cannon capable of cutting swaths of destruction through any
enemy formation.  Its major weakness, however, is its extremely low speed.

Buratsudeidoomon (2003f5b):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core GS
Build Cost: 336,000 G
HP: 500  EP: 250  SP: 90  DF: 40%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Bite Fang
     Attack: 95  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Large Caliber Charged Particle Cannon
     Attack: 180  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 16  Range: 1-3 Square
Fixed Armament 3: Large Caliber Gatling
     Attack: 82  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Spread
Notes: Though similar to the Death Saurer, this Zoid is generally weaker in
all categories.  However, instead of the Smash Tail, this Zoid has a Large
Caliber Gatling weapon, which gives it the ability to attack the enemy's rear
column.

Genosaurer (2003f5c):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core GS, Normal OS
Build Cost: 106,400 G
HP: 330  EP: 50  SP: 150  DF: 35%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Killer Fang
     Attack: 86  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Charged Particle Cannon [Kadenryuushi Hou]
     Attack: 154  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 12  Range: 1-3 Square
Fixed Armament 3: Long Range Laser [Choukyori Laser]
     Attack: 75  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Notes: A frighteningly powerful assault platform, the Genosaurer family of
Imperial Zoids is built around a Charged Particle Cannon in the mouth capable
of considerable destruction.  Unlike the Deathsaurer, the Genosaurer has
enough mobility to deploy its Particle Cannon before enemy attacks destroy
it.  Later evolutions of the Genosaurer are among the most effective Imperial
Zoids in production.

Genobreaker (2003f5d):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Genosaurer
Build Cost: 134,400 G
HP: 400  EP: 200  SP: 345  DF: 40%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: X Breaker
     Attack: 95  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Charged Particle Cannon [Kadenryuushi Hou]
     Attack: 180  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 12  Range: 1-3 Square
   Fixed Armament 3: E Shield
     DF + 20% / Anti-Laser + 20%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: By replacing the Long Range Laser back-mounted array with Buster Claw
E Shield generators, adding boosters and tremendous energy capacitance to the
standard Genosaurer, the Empire created the Genobreaker.  Faster than a
Lightning Saix and having almost as much energy as a Death Saurer, the
Genobreaker is a highly lethal Zoid.  Further, the Charged Particle Cannon
has been upgraded in lethality.  Later, however, the Berserk Furher family of
Zoids would replace the Genobreaker.

Genobreaker RS (2003f5e):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Genosaurer, Shadow OS
Build Cost: 134,400 G
HP: 400  EP: 200  SP: 345  DF: 40%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: X Breaker
     Attack: 95  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Charged Particle Cannon [Kadenryuushi Hou]
     Attack: 180  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 12  Range: 1-3 Square
Fixed Armament 3: Shadow Invocation [Shadow Hatsudou]
All Abilities + 50% / HP + EP Completely Restored
Range: Self  EP Cost: 0  Turns: Battle Duration
Special: Can only be used once per battle
Notes: Even though Raven's customized Genobreaker lacks the distinctive
Buster Claw E Shield generators, the organoid system Shadow allows Raven not
only to restore any damage received in battle but to also boost her Zoid's
capabilities beyond normal levels.

Protobreaker (2003f5f):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Genosaurer
Build Cost: 106,400 G
HP: 330  EP: 50  SP: 345  DF: 35%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: X Breaker
     Attack: 77  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Charged Particle Cannon [Kadenryuushi Hou]
     Attack: 154  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 12  Range: 1-3 Square
Fixed Armament 3: Long Range Laser [Choukyori Laser]
     Attack: 75  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Notes: The early Genobreaker prototype, this model lacks the armor and energy
capacitance of a standard Genobreaker.  However, it still has the increased
thrust output of later models.  The new X Breaker was not up to full capacity
in this model.  However, the Long Range Laser system was still included in
this prototype.

Geno Scissors (2003f60):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Genobreaker, Scissors Parts
Build Cost: 151,200 G
HP: 450  EP: 200  SP: 345  DF: 40%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: X Breaker
     Attack: 95  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Charged Particle Cannon [Kadenryuushi Hou]
     Attack: 180  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 12  Range: 1-3 Square
Fixed Armament 3: Assault Beam Cannon [Assault Beam Hou]
     Attack: 93  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Notes: The Geno Scissors lacks the Buster Claw E Shield of the Genobreaker
line, but in many other respects, is similar.  Additional endurance was
added, and the Long Range Laser of the Genosaurer family was upgraded to an
Assault Beam Cannon.  In many senses, this Zoid is more dangerous than an
Genobreaker, since it is both more durable and has more firepower at its
disposal.  The lack of the E Shield can even be remedied by adding on to its
generous Defensive Weapons Rack capacity.

Geno Trooper (2003f61):
M Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Genobreaker, Flight Parts
Build Cost: 151,200 G
HP: 450  EP: 200  SP: 345  DF: 40%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Killer Fang
     Attack: 77  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Charged Particle Cannon [Kadenryuushi Hou]
     Attack: 180  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 12  Range: 1-3 Square
   Fixed Armament 3: 4-Barrel Laser [4-Ren Laser]
     Attack: 93  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Notes: For all intents and purposes, the Geno Trooper is a flying Geno
Scissors.  However, the X Breaker was removed to accommodate the installation
of the Flight Parts, and therefore the Trooper has to rely on its own fangs
for melee attacks.

Rev Raptor (2003f62):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core RR, Limiter OS
Build Cost: 43,200 G
HP: 210  EP: 30  SP: 210  DF: 30%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hyper Claw
     Attack: 67  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Counter Scythe
     Attack: 64  Accuracy: 100%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Pierce
Notes: Though small, the Rev Raptor is fast and well protected.  In its
native configuration, the Raptor lacks any ranged weaponry and should
therefore be deployed on the front lines of battle.  Though it might not seem
to be the case, if the Raptor is on the front lines, its Counter Scythe will
penetrate to the enemy's rear column, so long as its original target is on
the front rank of the enemy's line.

Rev Raptor PB (2003f63):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: PB Unit
Build Cost: 71,200 G
HP: 320  EP: 40  SP: 210  DF: 40%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hyper Claw
     Attack: 97  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Counter Scythe
     Attack: 64  Accuracy: 100%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Pierce
   Fixed Armament 3: Pile Banker
     Attack: 115  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-1 Single
Notes: By combining the Rev Raptor with the CP-08 Pile Banker Unit, a potent
melee attack platform was formed.  The Rev Raptor PB has more armor,
endurance, and energy capacity.  However, the Pile Banker Unit removed one of
the Offensive Weapons Racks.  Still, a single rack remains if ranged weaponry
is desired.

Merda (2003f64):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core ZN
Build Cost: 3,200 G
HP: 22  EP: 20  SP: 500  DF: 10%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Self Guided Missile [Jiko Yuudou Misairu]
     Attack: 15  Accuracy: 93%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 2-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Hobbling (??)
(?) Zoid receives a bonus in desert terrain
Range: Self  EP Cost: 0  Turns: Always
Notes: While fast, the Merda is otherwise a poor Zoid.  I have yet to
decipher what Hobbling [hobaringu] exactly does.

Iguan (2003f65):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Godos
Build Cost: 4,000 G
HP: 25  EP: 20  SP: 650  DF: 5%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Iguan Kick
     Attack: 18  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Impact Gun
     Attack: 21  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-2 Single
   Fixed Armament 3: Thruster
     Speed + 500
Range: Self  EP Cost: 0  Turns: Always
Notes: A variant of the Republic's light Godos Zoid, the Iguan is better than
nothing, and can be improved with good Armaments.  However, it is probably
better to constructed Heavy Armor Godos Zoids instead, unless Speed is your
primary concern.

Redler (2003f66):
M Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core FL
Build Cost: 12,000 G
HP: 50  EP: 20  SP: 1800  DF: 8%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Severing Wing [Setsudan Tsubasa]
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Pierce
Notes: The larger of the Empire's two aerial assault Zoids, the standard
Redler is a decently capable attack platform on par with some of its basic
Republic counterparts.  However, the real strength of this Zoid lies in its
multiple variants.  Also, this Zoid must be deployed in the front rank, as it
must rely on high-speed cutting wing attacks.

Redler BC (2003f67):
M Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Redler, BC Set
Build Cost: 24,000 G
HP: 100  EP: 25  SP: 2300  DF: 12%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Severing Wing [Setsudan Tsubasa]
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Pierce
   Fixed Armament 2: Beam Cannon
     Attack: 72  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 3: Booster
     Speed + 500
Range: Self  EP Cost: 0  Turns: Always
Notes: A ranged Redler variant created by marrying a Redler to the CP-09
Booster Cannon system.  Not only does this give the Redler a ranged attack,
but the cannons also incorporate an integrated booster system that increases
the Redler's airspeed and its wing attacks.

Black Redler (2003f68):
M Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Redler, Black Paint
Build Cost: 31,200 G
HP: 130  EP: 28  SP: 1800  DF: 15%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Severing Wing [Setsudan Tsubasa]
     Attack: 81  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Pierce
Fixed Armament 2: Beam Machine Gun [Beam Kijuu]
     Attack: 62  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: Although it might seem as merely a Redler with black paint applied,
the Empire has upgrades many systems of this particular aerial variant.  The
wing section has been specially reinforced, making it more than twice as
effective in attacking targets.  Also, a Beam Machine Gun was installed in
the mouth, remedying the Redler's lack of ranged combat options.  Combined
with the higher endurance, heavier armor, and higher energy capacitance, this
model is much stronger than an average Redler, and only lags in speed behind
the Redler BC.

Redler IC (2003f69):
M Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Redler, IC Unit
Build Cost: 24,000 G
HP: 100  EP: 28  SP: 1800  DF: 15%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Anti-Air Cannon [Taikuu Cannon Hou]
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: Unlike all other Redler variants, the Redler Interceptor (IC) model
was designed with ranged combat in mind.  The wings were highly modified,
which removed its ability to conduct cutting wing attacks.  However, a highly
accurate Anti-Air Cannon was installed, giving this model the ability to
shoot down other aerial Zoids with a high level of precision.

Zabat (2003f6a):
S Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core FL
Build Cost: 14,400 G
HP: 90  EP: 20  SP: 1000  DF: 12%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Gun
     Attack: 48  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: The wingtip mounted lasers provide this small Imperial aerial Zoid its
only armament.  However, they are very accurate, making them capable of
engaging other aerial Zoids in dogfights.  With the proper modifications, the
Zabat can be an effective anti-air or ground-attack platform.

Brachios (2003f6b):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core ZN
Build Cost: 24,800 G
HP: 100  EP: 40  SP: 140  DF: 5%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Bite Fang
     Attack: 25  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Linear Laser
     Attack: 27  Accuracy: 130%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Pierce
   Fixed Armament 3: Sooraa Unit
EP Maximum is Increased by 20
Range: Ally  EP Cost: 0  Turns: Always
Notes: Even though the Sooraa Unit's range is listed as Ally, the bonus is
applied to the Brachios.  This early Imperial Zoid was an improvement over
smaller Zoids like the Iguan and Merda, but is considerably under-powered
when compared to later generation Zoids like the Rev Raptor, Saber Tiger, and
Genosaurer.

Brachios NEW (2003f6c):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Brachios
Build Cost: 33,600 G
HP: 130  EP: 55  SP: 160  DF: 10%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Bite Fang
     Attack: 32  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Linear Laser
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 130%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Pierce
   Fixed Armament 3: Sooraa Unit
EP Maximum is Increased by 20
Range: Ally  EP Cost: 0  Turns: Always
Notes: An upgrade to the older Brachios, it is equipped identically but has
better performance in all categories.

Heldigunner (2003f6d):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core GR
Build Cost: 12,800 G
HP: 75  EP: 20  SP: 130  DF: 7%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: Long Range Beam Cannon [Choukyori Beam Hou]
     Attack: 21  Accuracy: 110%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 1: Smash Tail
     Attack: 21  Accuracy: 100%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Notes: The Heldigunner is a fairly capable low-level support platform.  The
Long Range Beam Cannon that comes standard with this model is more accurate
and equally damaging as its close-range attack, but later on can be replaced
with more powerful support weapons.  As a side note, the Long Range Beam
Cannon was mounted by Bit on the Liger Zero in Zoids New Century Zero during
the Blitz Team's first battle with the Fluegel Team.

Heldigunner DT (2003f6e):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Heldigunner
Build Cost: 16,800 G
HP: 97  EP: 30  SP: 130  DF: 10%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: Long Range Beam Cannon [Choukyori Beam Hou]
     Attack: 21  Accuracy: 110%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 1: Smash Tail
     Attack: 27  Accuracy: 100%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Notes: An upgraded version of the Heldigunner, this Zoid is better than its
predecessor in all categories.

Molga (2003f6f):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core ZN
Build Cost: 3,200 G
HP: 20  EP: 20  SP: 200  DF: 8%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Body Slam [Taiatari]
     Attack: 7  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Gatling Cannon [Gatling Hou]
     Attack: 10  Accuracy: 80%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-2 Spread
Fixed Armament 3: Armored Defense [Soukou Bougyou]
     DF + 40% / Anti-Laser +40%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 2
Notes: A small insect type Zoid, the Molga is unremarkable in many respects -
excepting its ability to heavily increase its armor fortification levels.

Cannory Molga (2003f70):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Molga, Cannory Unit
Build Cost: 15,200 G
HP: 81  EP: 30  SP: 200  DF: 20%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Body Slam [Taiatari]
     Attack: 23  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Cannon Unit
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 85%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 2-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: Armored Defense [Soukou Bougyou]
     DF + 50% / Anti-Laser +50%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 2
Notes: By adding the CP-07 Cannory Unit to a standard Molga, a more capable
heavily defended light support Zoid was created.  This Imperial Zoid's Cannon
Unit is best suited for defensive fire from the rear column of a formation.
With its ability to increase its defense by 50%, the Cannory Molga can take a
surprising amount of punishment for such a small Zoid.

Malder (2003f71):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core ZN
Build Cost: 5,600 G
HP: 25  EP: 20  SP: 120  DF: 5%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Body Slam [Taiatari]
     Attack: 14  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Notes: This small Snail type Imperial Zoid's only redeeming feature is its
two Offensive Weapons Racks.  Virtually any other Zoid is a better choice.

Saicurtis (2003f72):
S Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Zore Core IS
Build Cost: 8,800 G
HP: 54  EP: 30  SP: 390  DF: 10%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Body Slam [Taiatari]
     Attack: 25  Accuracy: 100%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: 2 Barrel Beam Cannon [2 Rensou Beam Hou]
     Attack: 28  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-2 Single
Notes: The tiny Saicurtis is a primitive insect/flying Zoid that still gains
all of the evasion advantages of aerial Zoids like the Redler and Zabat.
However, it is considerably slower than either of those Zoids and is best
used as a stepping stone into the Double Sworder.

Death Stinger (2003f73):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core DS
Build Cost: 345,600 G
HP: 450  EP: 250  SP: 185  DF: 60%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Fang
     Attack: 105  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Charged Particle Cannon [Kadenryuushi Hou]
     Attack: 203  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 16  Range: 1-3 Square
   Fixed Armament 3: Shock Gun
     Attack: 115  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: Perhaps the ultimate expression of Imperial Charged Particle Cannon
toting Zoids, the Death Stinger fixes many of the problems of the Death
Saurer.  It is fairly fast, has the most powerful Charged Particle Cannon in
the Empire's inventory, and can conduct devastating attacks up close or with
its Shock Gun.  Its armor is also quite impressive.  The Charged Particle
Cannon has been known to destroy entire cities or orbital installations with
a single shot.

Wardick (2003f74):
M Class, Underwater Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core WT
Build Cost: 60,000 G
HP: 180  EP: 40  SP: 120  DF: 40%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Sonic Wave Cannon [Onpa Hou]
     Attack: 0  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 5  Range: 1-1 Single  Special: Chara
Notes: Though the Wardick lacks any offensive armaments, the Sonic Wave
Cannon can be used to inflict the Chara status ailment with high levels of
success.  Coupled with its good defensive values, with the right defensive
equipment the Wardick can be a capable support Zoid.

Sinker (2003f75):
M Class, Underwater Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core WT
Build Cost: 26,400 G
HP: 100  EP: 30  SP: 120  DF: 10%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Accelerator Beam Cannon [Kasoku Beam Hou]
     Attack: 39  Accuracy: 85%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-2 Single
Notes: The other major Imperial underwater Zoid, the Sinker is primarily
useful when attempting to avoid underwater terrain penalties.  Unlike the
Wardick, Sinkers may be modified with an additional Offensive Armament, and
have a modest fixed internal armament.  Sadly, this version lacks the ability
to attack with under-wing torpedoes.

Dibison (2003f76):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core H2
Build Cost: 55,200 G
HP: 200  EP: 30  SP: 130  DF: 15%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Horn Crash
     Attack: 60  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: 17 Gun Assault Cannon [17-mon Totsugeki Hou]
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Square
Fixed Armament 3: 8 Barrel Missile [8-Ren Misairu]
     Attack: 59  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Notes: A Helic Republic heavy assault/support Zoid.  This Zoid packs more
punch than either the Shield Liger or Command Wolf families of Zoids, having
built in Square and Pierce attacks.  Further, 2 Offensive Weapons Racks wait
additional tools of destruction.  However, this Zoid is relatively slow for a
Republic model.

Shield Liger (2003f77):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core H2
Build Cost: 26,400 G
HP: 100  EP: 20  SP: 250  DF: 10%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: 2 Barrel Laser [2 Rensou Laser]
     Attack: 25  Accuracy: 110%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Pierce
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Saber
     Attack: 45  Accuracy: 180%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: E Shield
     DF + 20% / Anti-Laser + 20%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: Perhaps one of the most recognizable, robust Helic Republic Zoids.
The Shield Liger is the base for a wide family of Zoids, and there are many
specialized variants.  It is more defensive in nature, possessing excellent
protection in its E Shield system.  The standard 2 Barrel Laser also gives
this Zoid good ranged attack against groups.

Shield Liger DCS (2003f78):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Shield Liger, DCS Unit
Build Cost: 27,200 G
HP: 100  EP: 20  SP: 150  DF: 15%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Saber
     Attack: 46  Accuracy: 180%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Double Cannon
     Attack: 43  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 3: E Shield
     DF + 20% / Anti-Laser + 20%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: By mounting the CP-01 Twin Beam Cannons on the standard Shield Liger
in place of the 2 Barrel Laser, a more potent ranged attack / support Zoid
was formed.  The DCS variant, however, suffers a severe speed penalty
compared it the normal Shield Liger.

Shield Liger DCS-J (2003f79):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Shield Liger DCS
Build Cost: 44,000 G
HP: 160  EP: 40  SP: 285  DF: 15%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Saber
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 180%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Double Cannon
     Attack: 64  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 3: E Shield
     DF + 20% / Anti-Laser + 20%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: Further refinement and modification of the DCS variant resulted in the
new DCS-J model.  Not only have all the statistics of the earlier DCS version
been improved, but the speed of the DCS-J is now greater than a standard
Shield Liger.  Also, the attack value for each of its weapons systems have
also been boosted by nearly 50%

Shield Liger Mark II (2003f7a):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Shield Liger
Build Cost: 35,200 G
HP: 130  EP: 35  SP: 260  DF: 15%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Saber
     Attack: 54  Accuracy: 180%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: 2 Barrel Accelerator Beam Cannon
     Attack: 48  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Pierce
   Fixed Armament 3: E Shield
     DF + 20% / Anti-Laser + 20%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: While the Shield Liger has excellent defensive capabilities, its
offensive armaments, especially at range, have always been somewhat lacking.
In order to remedy this deficit, a 2 Barrel Accelerator Beam Cannon was
installed, which unfortunately turned the central Weapons Rack into a
Defensive one.  This gives the Mark II excellent ranged attack value.  Apart
from that, the general statistics of this Zoid have also been improved.

Shield Liger BS (2003f7b):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Shield Liger, Jeeku OS
Build Cost: 27,200 G
HP: 100  EP: 35  SP: 250  DF: 15% (+DF/+EP)
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: 2 Barrel Anti-Air Laser [2-Ren Taikuu Laser]
     Attack: 30  Accuracy: 110%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Pierce
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Saber
     Attack: 43  Accuracy: 180%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: E Shield
     DF + 25% / Anti-Laser + 25%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 3  Turns: 3
Fixed Armament 3: Jeeku Invocation [Jeeku Hatsudou]
All Abilities + 50% / HP + EP Completely Restored
Range: Self  EP Cost: 10  Turns: Battle Duration
Special: Can only be used once per battle
Notes: The personal Zoid of Ban, this particular model benefits from the
presence of the organoid system Jeeku (aka Zeeg).  In its base form, both
defense and energy capacitance is increased, but when Jeeku is fully
activated, Ban can push this Zoid beyond its normal limits.

Blade Liger (2003f7c):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Shield Liger, Normal OS
Build Cost: 49,600 G
HP: 180  EP: 35  SP: 305  DF: 15%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Blade
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 180%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: E Shield
     DF + 30% / Anti-Laser + 30%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 3  Turns: 3
Notes: While designs that compensated for the weak ranged attack of the
Shield Liger series of Zoids were elaborated by the Helic Republic, more
development went into the Blade Liger, which emphasized the strong melee
combat virtues of this Zoid.  A pair of Laser Blades on each side of the Zoid
creates a fearsome attacker that should be deployed on the front lines.

Blade Liger BS (2003f7d):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Blade Liger, Jeeku OS
Build Cost: 49,600 G
HP: 180  EP: 40  SP: 305  DF: 15%
1 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: 2 Barrel Anti-Air Laser [2-Ren Taikuu Laser]
     Attack: 30  Accuracy: 110%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Pierce
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Blade
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 180%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: E Shield
     DF + 30% / Anti-Laser + 30%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 3  Turns: 3
Fixed Armament 3: Jeeku Invocation [Jeeku Hatsudou]
All Abilities + 50% / HP + EP Completely Restored
Range: Self  EP Cost: 10  Turns: Battle Duration
Special: Can only be used once per battle
Notes: Eventually, Ban replaced his Shield Liger with a Blade Liger, and the
variant he piloted was designated the Blade Liger BS (Ban Service Type).  The
Blade Liger BS comes with a small, self-powered laser for ranged attack, but
its most important feature is its organoid system, Jeeku.  As with his Shield
Liger, Ban uses Jeeku to push the limits of his Zoid beyond common warriors.

Blade Liger AB (2003f7e):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Blade Liger, AB Unit
Build Cost: 90,400 G
HP: 270  EP: 80  SP: 500  DF: 40%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Blade
     Attack: 97  Accuracy: 180%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: E Shield
     DF + 30% / Anti-Laser + 30%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 3  Turns: 3
   Fixed Armament 3: AB Unit
     Attack: 97  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: The use of a CP-12 Attack Booster Unit in conjunction with the
standard Blade Liger design seemed like an obvious choice.  Adding speed,
armor, endurance, and doubling the energy capacity of its predecessor Zoid,
the Blade Liger AB can attack throughout the depth of the field with its
Booster.  However, installation of the AB Unit in the central rack removed
any Offensive Weapons Racks from this Zoid.

Spark Liger (2003f7f):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Shield Liger DCS, Electro-?? Unit
Build Cost: 90,400 G
HP: 270  EP: 80  SP: 500  DF: 40%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Saber
     Attack: 97  Accuracy: 180%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Laser Claw
     Attack: 81  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 3: Voltage Generator Equipment [Den'isa Hassei Souchi]
     Attack: 54  Accuracy: 75%
EP Cost: 4  Range: 1-2 Single  Special: Paralyze
Notes: A highly specialized Shield Liger variant, the Spark Liger is highly
prized for its Voltage Generator Equipment.  This system creates a source of
electric potential difference that can easily paralyze enemy Zoids.

Liger Zero (2003f80):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core UX
Build Cost: 38,400 G
HP: 140  EP: 40  SP: 307  DF: 15%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Claw
     Attack: 81  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 4  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Shock Cannon
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: Although technically part of the Liger Type of Republic Zoids, the
Liger Zero is in a different class altogether.  The main strength of this
Zoid does not lie in its basic configuration (which is along the lines of an
upgraded Blade Liger), but in the three free CAS conversions that can be
performed on it.  It is also one of the few families of Zoids that uses the
rare Ultimate X Zoid Core.  Unlike the CAS armor variants, the base Liger
Zero can mount a dizzying array of Offensive Armaments.

Liger Zero SC (2003f81):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Liger Zero or Liger Zero JA or Liger Zero PA
Build Cost: 0 G
HP: 280  EP: 100  SP: 500  DF: 40%
1 x Fixed Weapons Rack
2 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Weapons Rack 1: Five Blade
     Attack: 150  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 5  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 1: E Shield
     DF + 30% / Anti-Laser + 30%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 4  Turns: 3
Notes: The SC, or Schneider (German for tailor) Armor (aka CP-17 Liger Zero
Schneider Unit) is a strong direct attack/defense variant of the Liger Zero.
Like all Liger Zero CAS versions, the Schneider boasts doubled HP, EP, and
defense over the regular Liger Zero, as well as significant speed bonuses.
This version should only be deployed on the front line, as it has no ranged
weaponry.  Its defense can be bolstered by deploying an E Shield similar to
the Shield Liger family.

Liger Zero JA (2003f82):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Liger Zero or Liger Zero SC or Liger Zero PA
Build Cost: 0 G
HP: 300  EP: 100  SP: 1000  DF: 40%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Claw
     Attack: 97  Accuracy: 180%
EP Cost: 4  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Vulcan Pod
     Attack: 81  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-3 Spread
   Fixed Armament 3: Ion Booster
     Speed + 500
Range: Self  EP Cost: 0  Turns: Always
Notes: The JA, or Jager (German for hunter or rifleman) Armor (aka CP-20
Liger Zero Jager Unit) is a multi-mission CAS variant of the Liger Zero.
Easily the most versatile, the Liger Zero Jager has twice the speed of any
other Liger Zero variant thanks to its Ion Boosters.  The enhanced Laser Claw
can be deployed in close-range combat, while the Vulcan Pod gives this
version more ranged combat capabilities than the Schneider version.

Liger Zero PA (2003f83):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Liger Zero or Liger Zero SC or Liger Zero JA
Build Cost: 0 G
HP: 300  EP: 100  SP: 500  DF: 40%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: 6 Barrel Missile [6-Ren Misairu]
     Attack: 84  Accuracy: 110%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Fixed Armament 2: Hybrid Cannon [Hybrid Hou]
     Attack: 54  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: B Big Ban <Probably Burning Big Bang>
     Attack: 108  Accuracy: 100%
EP Cost: 7  Range: 1-3 Spread
Notes: The PA, or Panzer (German for armor) Armor (aka CP-21 Liger Zero
Panzer Unit) provides heavy assault capabilities to the Liger Zero.  Liger
Zero Panzer sports three different ranged attacks, but loses the close-range
combat ability of its predecessors.  The Hybrid Cannon can be used in power-
conservation attacks, while the 6 Barrel Missile launcher is perfect for deep
strikes against multiple targets.  Against stronger opponents or massed
groups, the Burning Big Bang attack is a perfect option, although it does use
a considerable amount of energy.

Command Wolf (2003f84):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core H1
Build Cost: 20,800 G
HP: 85  EP: 20  SP: 210  DF: 5%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: 2 Barrel Beam Cannon [2 Rensou Beam Hou]
     Attack: 20  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 1: Bite Fang
     Attack: 28  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Smokescreen Generator Equipment [Enmaku Hassei Souchi]
     Evasion + 20%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: Along with the Shield Liger family of Zoids, the Command Wolf forms
the nucleus of Helic Republic Zoid forces.  Command Wolves are well equipped
for reconnaissance and light assault, but often rely on their Quadra
Smokescreen Generators to escape larger threats.  Still, it has a decent
close-range and long-range attack, on par with the more durable Imperial
Saber Tigers.

Command Wolf NEW (2003f85):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Command Wolf
Build Cost: 28,800 G
HP: 110  EP: 30  SP: 210  DF: 10%
3 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
Weapons Rack 2: 2 Barrel Beam Cannon [2 Rensou Beam Hou]
     Attack: 27  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 1: Bite Fang
     Attack: 35  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Smokescreen Generator Equipment [Enmaku Hassei Souchi]
     Evasion + 25%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: An upgrade to the standard Command Wolf, the Command Wolf NEW (aka
Command Wolf Mark II) has increased abilities in all areas.  The most notable
visual difference is the gold-colored twin barreled beam cannon, upgraded
from the normal twin barreled beam cannons of the standard Command Wolf.

Command Wolf AS (2003f86):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Command Wolf, Sniper Rifle
Build Cost: 35,200 G
HP: 135  EP: 20  SP: 200  DF: 10%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Bite Fang
     Attack: 45  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Long Range Rifle [Chou Shatei Rifle]
     Attack: 39  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: Smokescreen Generator Equipment [Enmaku Hassei Souchi]
     Evasion + 25%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: A custom long-range precision strike Zoid piloted by Irvine, the
Command Wolf AS (Irvine Service Type) replaces the 2 Barrel Beam Cannon with
a more accurate Long Range Rifle.  However, this permanent addition to the
centerline of the Zoid prevents the mounting of Offensive Armaments in
Weapons Rack 2.

Command Wolf Urban Combat Variant (2003f87):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Command Wolf
Build Cost: 28,800 G
HP: 110  EP: 30  SP: 200  DF: 10%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Bite Fang
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Rocket Cannon [Rokuhto Hou]
     Attack: 30  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Square
Fixed Armament 3: Smokescreen Generator Equipment [Enmaku Hassei Souchi]
     Evasion + 25%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: One of several Command Wolf variants which replaced the central twin
barreled beam cannon with another weapon, the Urban Combat Variant was
designed for use against clusters of enemies.  The 4 barrel Rocket Cannon,
reminiscent of old 20th Century artillery designs, provides effective barrage
fire.

Command Wolf AU (2003f88):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Command Wolf, Attack Unit
Build Cost: 35,200 G
HP: 135  EP: 35  SP: 200  DF: 10%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Bite Fang
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Long Range Cannon [Choukyori Cannon]
     Attack: 48  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: Smokescreen Generator Equipment [Enmaku Hassei Souchi]
     Evasion + 25%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: A very popular conversion of the standard Command Wolf type, the Long
Range Cannons of the CP-04 Attack Unit replace the standard twin-barreled
beam cannons.  Thus, pilots who are used to using those cannons as ranged
weaponry find this conversion familiar.  Brad Hunter pilots a blue colored
Command Wolf AU variant (known as the Command Wolf AC) in Zoids New Century
Zero.

Kurobekotsu (2003f89):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Command Wolf
Build Cost: 60,000 G
HP: 220  EP: 45  SP: 200  DF: 15%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Double Fang
     Attack: 54  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Beam Vulcan
     Attack: 54  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Square
Fixed Armament 3: 2 Barrel Beam Cannon [2-Ren Beam Hou]
     Attack: 57  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: A very different looking Command Wolf variant, the Kurobekotsu sports
twin heads and a Beam Vulcan in the front of the Zoid.  These two heads
really are better than one, as they increase the melee strength of the Zoid
considerably.  However, in order to accommodate the additional equipment, the
Smokescreen Generator Equipment was omitted from this Zoid.

Climer Wolf (2003f8a):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Command Wolf
Build Cost: 27,200 G
HP: 100  EP: 35  SP: 200  DF: 15%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Bite Fang
     Attack: 35  Accuracy: 150%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: 2 Barrel Laser [2-Ren Laser]
     Attack: 30  Accuracy: 130%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Fixed Armament 3: Smokescreen Generator Equipment [Enmaku Hassei Souchi]
     Evasion + 30%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: Similar in many ways to the Command Wolf AU, the Climer Wolf sports a
twin-barrel laser in the centerline position.  These lasers are designed to
provide piercing damage, rather than precision sniping.  Also, the Climer
Wolf's Smokescreen Generators were upgraded from the standard model.

Gojulas (2003f8b):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core ZG
Build Cost: 161,600 G
HP: 260  EP: 45  SP: 100  DF: 30%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hyper Fang
     Attack: 43  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Spread
Notes: One of the few Class 5 Republic Zoids, the Gojulas is a heavy assault
platform of considerable strength.  However, in its base configuration, there
are no heavy ranged weapons.  Still, twin shoulder mounted Weapons Racks can
be utilized to remedy this problem.

Gojulas Mark II S (2003f8c):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Gojulas, GC Set
Build Cost: 312,000 G
HP: 500  EP: 70  SP: 90  DF: 30%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hyper Fang
     Attack: 68  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Spread
Fixed Armament 2: Long Range Rifle Cannon [Chou Shatei Cannon Hou]
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 2-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: 4 Barrel Assault Cannon [4 Rensou Totsugeki Hou]
     Attack: 90  Accuracy: 80%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-2 Single
Notes: The classic Gojulas modification, the Mark II S combines the custom
CP-10 Gojulas Cannon with the Republic's premier heavy assault Zoid.  A 4
Barrel Assault Cannon also increases the damage potential of this much
improved Zoid.

Gojulas Mark II (2003f8d):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Gojulas Mark II S
Build Cost: 286,400 G
HP: 460  EP: 60  SP: 90  DF: 30%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hyper Fang
     Attack: 68  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Spread
Fixed Armament 2: Long Range Rifle Cannon [Chou Shatei Cannon Hou]
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 2-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: 4 Barrel Assault Cannon [4 Rensou Totsugeki Hou]
     Attack: 90  Accuracy: 80%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-2 Single
Notes: The Mark II is similar in many respects, but weaker, than the Gojulas
Mark II S.  Its lower endurance and energy capacity, however, allow for
additional modifications to be installed on this model.

Gojulas G Ooka (2003f8e):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Gojulas Mark II, Normal OS
Build Cost: 401,600 G
HP: 620  EP: 250  SP: 130  DF: 35%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hyper Fang
     Attack: 115  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Spread
   Fixed Armament 2: Buster Cannon
     Attack: 126  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: 4 Barrel Assault Cannon [4 Rensou Totsugeki Hou]
     Attack: 150  Accuracy: 80%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: The mighty Gojulas G Ooka is the last major elaboration of the Gojulas
Mark II family.  The twin Gojulas Cannons were upgraded to the Buster Cannon,
which is capable of heavier damage than its earlier counterpart.  Further,
the weapons are correctly calibrated in this model to allow short-range fire,
making the G Ooka a perfect front-line assault Zoid.  The designers also
increased the speed and armor, but more tellingly, quadrupled the energy
capacitance.

Gojulas Gana (2003f8f):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Gojulas, GC Set
Build Cost: 368,800 G
HP: 570  EP: 50  SP: 130  DF: 35%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hyper Fang
     Attack: 81  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Spread
Fixed Armament 2: Long Range Rifle Cannon [Chou Shatei Cannon Hou]
     Attack: 90  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: 4 Barrel Assault Cannon [4 Rensou Totsugeki Hou]
     Attack: 111  Accuracy: 80%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: A 'prototype' Gojulas G Ooka, this model does not require the Normal
OS as the later Zoid does.  However, it still has the increased speed,
endurance, and armor of the G Ooka.  The lack of the Buster Cannon, and much
reduced energy capacitance, however, makes this an unattractive alternative
to the G Ooka.

Ultrasaurus (2003f90):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core US
Build Cost: 1,488,000 G
HP: 2000  EP: 400  SP: 100  DF: 55%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hyper Fang
     Attack: 250  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Spread
   Fixed Armament 2: Linear Cannon
     Attack: 550  Accuracy: 80%
EP Cost: 12  Range: 2-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: 8 Barrel Missile [8 Rensou Misairu]
     Attack: 400  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 15  Range: 1-3 Square
Notes: An ultra-heavy assault carrier, the Ultrasaurus is perhaps the final
word on the battlefield.  Used as the land headquarters for the Zoids Battle
Commission, the Ultrasaurus' Linear Cannon and missiles can easily dispatch
almost any opponent in a single salvo.  It has unrivaled endurance and energy
capacitance.  However, the paucity of Ultrasaurus Zoid Cores and the high
price tag make it impractical for most Zoid teams.

Gordos (2003f93):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core H2
Build Cost: 165,600 G
HP: 300  EP: 20  SP: 80  DF: 15%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hyper Fang
     Attack: 38  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: 20mm Laser
     Attack: 36  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Fixed Armament 3: GPS Magnetic Detector [GPS Jiki Tanchiki]
     Accuracy + 45%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: One of the Republic's first forays into large attack platforms, the
Gordos is more modestly constructed than the Gojulas.  However, they both
share some characteristics, including the ability to mount the GC Set.  The
centerline projections from its back are actually highly sensitive detection
gear.

Gordos Long Range Attack Type (2003f94):
L Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Gordos, GC Set
Build Cost: 221,600 G
HP: 370  EP: 35  SP: 80  DF: 25%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Hyper Fang
     Attack: 38  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Long Range Cannon [Choukyori Cannon]
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 2-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: GPS Magnetic Detector [GPS Jiki Tanchiki]
     Accuracy + 45%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: By replacing the 20mm laser with a pair of high-powered cannons, the
Gordos is transformed into a long-range support fire platform of incredible
accuracy.  However, the ability to mount any additional offensive armaments
was also lost in the conversion.

Pteras (2003f96):
S Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core FL
Build Cost: 7,200 G
HP: 45  EP: 8  SP: 1200  DF: 5%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: 2 Barrel Missile [2 Rensou Misairu]
     Attack: 25  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: 16mm Vulcan
     Attack: 21  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-1 Spread
Notes: Although this light aerial Zoid seems to be too fragile to be an
effective Zoid, the Pteras has a number of built-in attacks that gives it
both front-line and support capability.  While still outclassed in a dogfight
with a Zabat, the Pteras (and more importantly, its variants) are valuable
when proper care is exercised by their commander.

Pteras Bomber (2003f97):
S Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Pteras, Bomber Unit
Build Cost: 12,000 G
HP: 70  EP: 24  SP: 1200  DF: 10%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: 16mm Vulcan
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-1 Spread
Fixed Armament 2: 2 Barrel Missile [2 Rensou Misairu]
     Attack: 43  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 2-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: Anti-Ground Missile [Taichi Misairu]
     Attack: 36  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-3 Square
Notes: While combining the Pteras with the CP-06 Bomber Units seems like a
logical choice, there are a few small drawbacks to this arrangement.
Certainly, the twin missile launchers and 16mm Vulcan are more powerful than
in the standard variant, and the AGM Bomber Units attack is an excellent
suppression tool.  However, this version lacks any attack that does not
require EP, and its EP capacity of 24 is often quickly used up.

Pteras Radome (2003f98):
S Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Pteras, Radome Unit
Build Cost: 12,000 G
HP: 70  EP: 24  SP: 1200  DF: 10%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: 16mm Vulcan
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-1 Spread
Fixed Armament 2: 2 Barrel Missile [2 Rensou Misairu]
     Attack: 45  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 3: 3D Radome
     Accuracy +65%
Range: Ally  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 5
Notes: This support variant of the Pteras borrows the radome from the Wild
Weasel unit to add long-range support capacity to this versatile aerial
platform.  The 3D Radome can send advanced targeting information to any other
Zoid on the battlefield, increasing accuracy by a tremendous amount.  Used
properly, this can ensure critical hits against enemy forces.

Storm Sworder (2003f99):
M Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Redler, Limiter OS
Build Cost: 68,800 G
HP: 250  EP: 100  SP: 1800  DF: 15%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Sword Attack
     Attack: 91  Accuracy: 130%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Pulse Laser
     Attack: 83  Accuracy: 120%
EP Cost: 4  Range: 1-3 Spread
Notes: The undisputed king of medium sized aerial Zoids, the Storm Sworder is
effective and deadly.  It possesses the endurance and defense to fly on the
front lines, where its strong Sword Attack can cut most lesser Zoids to
ribbons.  The pulse laser gives this Zoid excellent group attack capacity at
any range.  It is also faster than most aerial Zoids, with a few exceptions
(Salamander F2, Raynos).

Raynos (2003f9a):
M Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core FL
Build Cost: 26,400 G
HP: 100  EP: 20  SP: 1900  DF: 10%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: 3 Barrel Beam Cannon [3 Rensou Beam Hou]
     Attack: 36  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-2 Pierce
   Fixed Armament 2: 3D Radar
     Accuracy +40%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 5
Notes: Until the advent of the Class 5 Salamander aerial Zoid, this Zoid was
the fastest on the planet Zi.  Possessing respectable defense and endurance,
the aerial 3D Radar can boost the accuracy of the triple beam cannons mounted
on the forward undercarriage to the point where few Zoids can escape.  These
cannons further have excellent penetrating abilities, making the Raynos a
difficult Zoid to defeat.

Godos (2003f9b):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core H1
Build Cost: 4,000 G
HP: 24  EP: 10  SP: 150  DF: 5%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Godos Kick
     Attack: 17  Accuracy: 85%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Small Caliber Beam Cannon
     Attack: 20  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-2 Single
Notes: Sadly, in equipping their army, the Helic Republic did not have an
infinite amount of resources.  A cheap, easily mass produced light Zoid for
patrol, scouting, and non-combat duties was necessary.  While the Godos is
more capable than some Imperial land insect types, it is generally not suited
for combat of any kind.

Heavy Armor Godos (2003f9c):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Godos
Build Cost: 15,200 G
HP: 80  EP: 30  SP: 150  DF: 20%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Godos Kick
     Attack: 28  Accuracy: 85%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Medium Caliber Beam Cannon
     Attack: 30  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: By retroactively applying considerable armor and other enhancements to
the standard Godos, a passable support/small combat Zoid was created.  The
Heavy Armor Godos still lacks strong built-in armaments, but twin Offensive
Armaments can be mounted on the side shoulders to supplement its attack.

Gun Sniper (2003f9d):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core H3, Limiter OS
Build Cost: 22,400 G
HP: 110  EP: 40  SP: 200  DF: 10%
2 x Offensive/Defensive Weapons Rack
1 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Ankle Claw
     Attack: 54  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Beam Machine Gun
     Attack: 55  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-2 Spread
Notes: The Republic's premier small class assault Zoid, the Gun Sniper is a
very capable platform than can defeat enemies many times it size.  Able to
dispatch a Saber Tiger without any real difficulty, the standard Gun Sniper
configuration has ample Armament customization room as well as being supplied
with reinforced claws and a high-powered Beam Machine Gun.

Gun Sniper W2 (2003f9e):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Gun Sniper, WW Unit
Build Cost: 34,400 G
HP: 120  EP: 55  SP: 200  DF: 35%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Ankle Claw
     Attack: 66  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Heavy Beam Gun
     Attack: 68  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
   Fixed Armament 3: Missile Pod
     Attack: 65  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-2 Spread
Notes: A moderately controversial conversion of a standard Gun Sniper, the
Gun Sniper Wild Weasel utilizes the extreme striking power of the CP-13 Wild
Weasel Unit to boost the ranged and close-combat features of this Zoid.
However, the reinforced Heavy Beam Gun lacks the spread-fire capability of
the Beam Machine Gun.  The Missile Pods attacked to the sides of this unit
are used instead against groups of enemies.  One major drawback to this
conversion is the lack of any Offensive Weapons Racks.

Barigator (2003f9f):
M Class, Underwater Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core H2
Build Cost: 13,600 G
HP: 54  EP: 30  SP: 150  DF: 10%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Bite Fang
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Beam Cannon [Beam Hou]
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: While this moderately powerful Republic underwater Zoid is better than
most of its Imperial counterparts (the Wardick and Sinker), it lacks the
heavy hitting power of some of the more advanced Republic underwater Zoids.
The Barigator also cannot mount additional Offensive Armaments.

Stealth Viper (2003fa0):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core H2
Build Cost: 15,200 G
HP: 60  EP: 30  SP: 180  DF: 10%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: 16mm Vulcan
     Attack: 27  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-1 Spread
   Fixed Armament 2: Head Machinegun
     Attack: 30  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-1 Spread
Notes: Designed as a heavier scouting platform than the Godos, the Stealth
Viper is armed with some light spread-fire weaponry in case its
reconnaissance efforts are interrupted by unwelcome visitors.

Hammerhead (2003fa1):
M Class, Underwater Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core WT
Build Cost: 80,800 G
HP: 250  EP: 100  SP: 130  DF: 35%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Missile Pod
     Attack: 81  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-3 Square
Fixed Armament 2: Hyper Beam Cannon [Hyper Beam Hou]
     Attack: 97  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: Unquestionably the strongest of the underwater Zoids, the powerful
Hammerhead mounts Missile Pods for group attacks and a strong Hyper Beam
Cannon to deal with individual threats.  The major drawback to this Zoid is
its high price-tag.

Hammerhead VL (2003fa2):
M Class, Underwater Zoid
Build Requirements: Hammerhead, VL Unit
Build Cost: 80,800 G
HP: 250  EP: 100  SP: 500  DF: 35%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Lance Attack
     Attack: 77  Accuracy: 100%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: 3D Radome
     Accuracy +75%
Range: Ally  EP Cost: 3  Turns: 5
Notes: While the Pteras Radome is usually selected when long-range radar
detection support is required, the Hammerhead Viking Lance conversion is a
much more survivable and accurate platform.  The CP-14 Viking Lance Unit
replaces the normal armament of the Hammerhead with a strong close-combat
attack and a highly accurate 3D radome.

Double Sworder (2003fa3):
S Class, Aerial Zoid
Build Requirements: Saicurtis
Build Cost: 13,600 G
HP: 75  EP: 20  SP: 180  DF: 15%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Break Sword
     Attack: 32  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 1: 2 Barrel Beam Cannon [2 Rensou Beam Hou]
     Attack: 34  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: While the Double Sworder is not as strong as most Republic Medium
class aerial Zoids, it does have more attack power than a standard Pteras.
Unfortunately, it is quite slow when compared to most aerial Zoids, being a
development of the Saicurtis.

Cannon Tortoise (2003fa4):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core H1
Build Cost: 7,200 G
HP: 45  EP: 20  SP: 100  DF: 7%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Liquid Hydrogen Charged Particle Cannon [see misc.]
     Attack: 50  Accuracy: 70%
EP Cost: 3  Range: 1-3 Pierce
Notes: Though slow, the tiny Cannon Tortoise mounts a hefty Charged Particle
Cannon that makes this Zoid an excellent fire support platform.  Combined
with proper pre-battle planning, such as Obstacle Deployment, the Cannon
Tortoise can level stronger Zoids with a devastating barrage of fire.

Cannon Tortoise Assault Type (2003fa5):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Cannon Tortoise
Build Cost: 13,600 G
HP: 75  EP: 20  SP: 150  DF: 15%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Assault Cannon [Totsugeki Hou]
     Attack: 43  Accuracy: 100%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-2 Single
Notes: Certain compromises in firepower had to be made in order to increase
the normally slothful Cannon Tortoise's speed by 50%.  Replacing the Charged
Particle Cannon with a lighter Assault Cannon removes some strength from this
Zoid, but the increased speed can make quite a difference.

Cannon Tortoise BC (2003fa6):
S Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Cannon Tortoise, Large Caliber BC Set
Build Cost: 13,600 G
HP: 75  EP: 20  SP: 150  DF: 15%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
Fixed Armament 1: Large Caliber Beam Cannon
     Attack: 35  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 1  Range: 1-3 Single
Notes: The CP-05 Heavy Beam Cannon does not, despite its name, actually
increase the power of the Cannon Tortoise.  Rather, this is an alternative
variant to the Cannon Tortoise Assault Type that can safely be placed in the
back row and still range fire across the depth of the battlefield.  Other
than that, there is no advantage to this configuration versus the Assault
Type.

Guysack (2003fa8):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Zoid Core IS
Build Cost: 18,400 G
HP: 70  EP: 15  SP: 120  DF: 10%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Claw
     Attack: 21  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-1 Single
Fixed Armament 2: Beam Cannon [Beam Hou]
     Attack: 25  Accuracy: 95%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: Smokescreen Generator Equipment [Enmaku Hassei Souchi]
     Evasion +25%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: The Guysack is a medium strength insect type that has a wide variety
of offensive and defensive armaments.  In many ways, it is similar (but
slower) than a Command Wolf; however, the Guysack lacks any Offensive Weapons
Racks.

Heavy Armor Guysack (2003fa9):
M Class, Land Zoid
Build Requirements: Guysack
Build Cost: 23,200 G
HP: 85  EP: 30  SP: 120  DF: 15%
3 x Defensive Weapons Rack
   Fixed Armament 1: Laser Claw
     Attack: 23  Accuracy: 90%
EP Cost: 2  Range: 1-1 Single
   Fixed Armament 2: Beam Rifle
     Attack: 30  Accuracy: 110%
EP Cost: 0  Range: 1-3 Single
Fixed Armament 3: Smokescreen Generator Equipment [Enmaku Hassei Souchi]
     Evasion +20%
Range: Self  EP Cost: 2  Turns: 3
Notes: A more effective version of the Guysack, this insect Zoid is still
under-powered when compared to most Zoids of its size class.  Further, the
heavier armor reduces the effectiveness of the Smokescreen Generator in this
variant.

Guysack Stinger (2003faa):

There are several people without whose publicly available resources this
document could have never been complied:

crazieaznkid, for the Zoids Saga walkthrough (available at GameFAQs, of
course), which I used as a reference for getting through the game;

GameFAQs (www.gamefaqs.com), for being the comprehensive game information
site;

Channel Zi (www.artvilla.com/zoids), for having a ton of Zoid
information, which helped me identify the Zoids and properly translate the
names;

   [email protected] for suggesting the name 'Geno Scissors';

   Jeffrey's J<->E Dictionary Server (linear.mv.com/), an excellent on-line
dictionary;

   Tomy, for making another anime-based RPG that's so appealing;

Everyone who has sent positive comments, encouragement, and feedback.

What's next?  Actually, this guide is next - I need to finish up the notes
and the Zoid comparisons.  Then the walkthrough, and finally a round of
updates and corrections to my previous guides.
