==========================
I started this guide because I'm playing the game and I'm trying to make a
perfect game for everyone and me. However, this game didn't have the US
Version. So, I patched the rom with the translation patch file to play the
game and it seems more easier to play.
If I have any mistaken, please contact me and I'll correct it. Thanks.

3. Solar Sensor #SOLAR#
==========================
Before I begin the walkthrough, the Solar Sensor deserves some explanation.
The Solar Sensor is a tiny little doohickey in your cartridge that picks up
UV radiation and reports what it's sensing to your game. This is measured on
your screen on the Sun Gauge, out of a possible 10 bars.
Solar Boy, Django has the standard Life and Energy Bars. The most immediate
and obvious effect of the Solar Sensor is that, as long as both you and
Django are standing in sunlight, his Energy Bar will slowly refill. By
holding down the A button, Django can perform a Solar Charge that accelerates
this process at the expense of not being able to move. Although there are
items that restore ENE, for the most part, sunlight is the only reliable way
to restores your Energy Bar.
Energy also accumulates in the Solar Station as long as you're getting
sunlight. This acts as reserve Energy that can be absorbed from Solar Station
placed throughout the dungeons in a pinch, but perhaps more importantly, this
Energy can be transferred from the Solar Station to the Solar Bank, where it
becomes Soll, the currency of the Boktai world. Your Solar Bank account gains
interest daily, even when you're not playing thanks to a battery-powered
real-time clock also built into the cartridge. As the game goes on, shops
will open where you can buy Items, Accessories, and Weapons using your
hard-earned Soll, and of course sell unwanted items to earn more. And if
needs be, you can transfer your Soll back into the Solar Station, turning it
back into Energy.
More sunlight is not, however, always a good thing. For one thing, most items
in Boktai 2 are perishable, and more sunlight makes them perish faster. A lot
faster. Rotten items can still be eaten, but not without ill effect.
The Solar Sensor has many more effects, some bad, most good, but to cover
them all would require a FAQ unto itself, and might spoil some parts of the
game. So that's all I'll say on the subject for now.
An afterword: Although there are a few sources of artificial sunlight in the
game, for the most part it is not possible to beat the game without it, and
it's certainly not possible to get everything. However, there are a couple
ways to fool the Solar Sensor. Most blacklights give off a fair bit of UV at
close range, for example. I do not recommend playing the game this way, as it
detracts from the feel quite a bit, not to mention holding the game too close
may melt parts of your cartridge, GBA, or hands. But it may be the only
option for people who work for most of the day or have similar problems
keeping them from soaking up those rays.

4.0 Awaken #AWAKE#
=====================
"The end of the world...
People forgot about the Sun. It was a dark age...
With the appearance of the Dark Tribe, the world was shrouded in fear.
The living turned undead and roamed the Earth.
Thanks to the warriors, the people's last hope,
It seemed the Sun had returned, and a brief respite had been earned.
But the warriors were defeated, betrayed by their friend,
and they were never seen again...
The Beast of Destruction awoke,
and the world was pluged into eternal darkness.
When the Sun returns, it is said the warriors shall awaken once more.
But who will be able to take back the Sun...now that the warriors are gone?"
The story begins with The Legend of The Warriors of Light. The legend goes
that the Warriors were betrayed by their friend and never even fought the
Eternal Beast. Because of their death, Immortals rule the earth, led by the
Lord of Destruction, Ratatosk. Sabata wakes up in the moon, confused. Sabata
attempts to defend himself against a mysterious enemy.
=---------------------------\Boss Battle/--------------------------=
- Beast of Destruction - Vanargand -
=------------------------------------------------------------------=
HP: ??? Level: ??
Attacks: Punch, Crush, Mystery Beam
This is nothing special, just avoid attacks from Vanargand.
=--------------------------/End Boss Battle\-----------------------=
Vanargand finishes him off with a Solar beam attack. Ratatosk shows up and
tells Sabata that he needs Lunar Child blood to control the Eternal Beast.
Ratatosk then possesses Sabata.

=--------------------------/End Boss Battle\-----------------------=
Open the green chest for Photo: Sabata(A), then head north. There's a door in
the way glowing with Dark Energy. A scream, and someone falls onto one of the
tombstones, breaking it accidentally and weakened the Dark Seal. He looks
around, checks the sky, and dashes off. Otenko and Django finally get the
bright idea of shooting the Dark Seal with GunDelSol and they destroyed the
Dark Seal.

You start out in the only building with a bed. Violet, Nero, and the Coffin
Shopkeeper are in this building. Now that Django has to travel so far to get
to the Immortal Dungeons, he's going to need a faster method of travel. The
Coffin Shopkeeper has just the thing...the ultimate coffin, the Vector Coffin
Violet handles the Warehouse during the day. Her doll handles it at night.
She also handles your Doll collection.
Check the Section 9.3 Doll section below for more information.
Inside the Green Chest is the GunDelSol's lense, Luna.
The Coffin Shopkeeper will let you modify your bike, but it's easier to do that
in Garage.
Solar Smith:
Talk to Smith and examine the Signs to learn how to smith in this new building.
After you've looked at a sign, Smith will let you forge weapons. You probably
won't be high enough to wield anything else yet, so skip it for now.
Check the Section 7. Solar Forging section below for instructions.
Weapon Shop:
Talk to Cheyenne and he'll give you the Solar Power, Dash.
Check the Section 6. Shopkeeper section below for more information.
Library:
Talk to Lady. Nero will interrupt, the screen will go blank, and Django will
end up on the ground.
Check the Section 8. Library section below for more information.
Inn:
Talk to Zazie twice. She'll give you the Dark Card.
Bank@Loans:
Check the Sign, talk to the Solar Bank Twins and transfer Solar Energy if you
wish.
Clock Tower:
Talk to Ennio to change the time if you wish.
Garage:
Coffin Monster Elefan is here to greet you. So is the new character, Coach.
Does he look like the Coffin Shopkeeper?
Talk to Coach, talk to Elefan. Coach explains you can trade racing points for
random items from Elefan.
Check the Section 5. Bike Racing section below for more information.
Item Shop:
Talk to Lita and just take some hits. After Lita finishes hitting Django,
she'll make some chests appear with recovery items in them.
Check the Section 6. Shopkeeper section below for more information.
Accessory Shop:
Talk to Kid...something about 9000, you probably owe him money. He'll make a
green chest appear with Leather Armor inside.
Check the Section 6. Shopkeeper section below for more information.
That's it for San Miguel.

Every time you travel to a dungeon, you ride your bike. The first time you go
to each place, the game will switch to a side-scrolling racing game. Your
objective there, as in every race track in this game, is to reach the finish
line.
WARNING: If you die while riding to a dungeon, the game ends.
Coach is in charge of the Bike Garage in San Miguel.
Coach gives you four options when talking to him. The first lets you
customize your bike. The second lets you rename your bike. The third lets you
do time trials and races on different tracks. The fourth option just lets you
talk to Coach.

8.6 Request Sheets #QUEST#
-------------------------------
After you finish a dungeon and reveal the next dungeon, you will be able
to return to the previous dungeon and go hunting for a Crimson Monster that
only appears if you meet certain conditions. Each time you enter a room in
that dungeon, there is a random chance one of the monsters in that room will
be replaced with its Crimson version.
Crimson Monsters are similiar to their normal counterparts, only they
have much more HP.
The ideal rooms to hunt Crimson monsters will contain at least one of them
near a doorway. Simply enter and exit the room repeatedly.
Once you have successfully killed a Crimson monster, return to San Miguel,
Save, and then speak to Lady. The treasure isn't determined until the chest
appears.
