1. Introduction
===========================================================

-----------------------------------------------------------
1-1. Introduction to Gundam:
-----------------------------------------------------------

Before Gundam, Yoshiyuki Tomino was known for super robot mecha
series, which usually included silly looking robots that were "invincible"
and had pilots that screamed out the names of their attacks. In 1979,
however, Tomino strayed away from the usual type of mecha series in
Japan and began to work on "Kidou Senshi Gundam" (aka Mobile Suit Gundam).
This was the first of what would become known as "real robot" series.
Gundam portrayed the dramatic effects of war. This was much more serious
than the usual mecha series. The point of the series didn't lie in the
mecha labeled "Mobile Suits", but lied within the plot and the
characters. After Mobile Suit Gundam's first run, it didn't do very
well. However, with reruns and the entire series being retooled into
a movie trilogy, more and more fans began to watch, and soon, the
Gundam fandom boomed into one of the largest known. Gundam spawned
countless sequels, spinoffs, side stories, mangas, movies, novels,
video games, and novelties. Gundam is often considered the "Star Trek
of Japan".

-----------------------------------------------------------
1-2. Introduction to SD G Generation Advance:
-----------------------------------------------------------

What exactly is SD Gundam? "SD" stands for "Super Deformed", which are
basically "chibi" (shrunk and/or deformed) versions of our favorite
Mobile Suits, battleships, and characters. SD G Gen Advance is a game
coming from a long line of G Generation games that started out on the
SNES and evolved into much more complex strategy games on the PSX,
Wonderswan Color, and PS2. Advance is the first G Generation game for
the Gameboy Advance system.

Advance includes many Gundam series, movies, and sidestories in its
plot even though it mostly surrounds the One Year War of the Universal
Century Timeline and the war in Gundam SEED on the Cosmic Era
timeline. This game either takes the plot, characters, mecha, other
elements, or a mix of all of the above from the following series. This
list includes (in chronological order according to timeline):

Universal Century:
Mobile Suit Gundam (aka First Gundam)
Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team
Side Story: Blue Destiny
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket
Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memories/The Last Blitz of Zeon
Mobile Suit Z(eta) Gundam
Gundam Sentinal
Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ
Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack
Mobile Suit Gundam F91
Mobile Suit V(ictory) Gundam

Future Century:
Mobile Fighter G Gundam

After Colony:
New Mobile Suit Report Gundam W

After War:
After War Gundam X

Correct Century:
Turn A Gundam

Cosmic Era:
Gundam SEED

-----------------------------------------------------------
1-3. Glossary:
-----------------------------------------------------------

This is a list of terms not only good for the game, but for your
growing knowledge of Gundam as well:

Ace: The best of the best of pilots. You'll be doing battle with
various aces during the game.
Examples: Johnny Ridden, Cima Garahau, Zechs Merquise

Bits: A type of weapon that can only be controlled via psycommu
system by a Newtype pilot. A "bit" is a drone that can fly separately
and usually carries a beam cannon of its own. The Elemth is armed with
these.

Coordinator: Artificially strengthened humans who were strengthened
from birth. Coordinators are supposedly superior in certain areas.
Only Coordinators can pilot Coordinator-only Mobile Suits.
Examples: Kira Yamato, Azlan Zara

EXAM: EXAM is a special computer made by a Zeon scientist who later
defected to the Earth Federal Forces. This computer uses the soul
of a Newtype to empower it . . . only the most skilled of pilots
can handle EXAM without going crazy . . .

Funnels: The next level of bits. Though they don't carry their own
generators or fuel tanks, causing them to be forced to return to its
"mother" to refuel/recharge, they are smaller, faster, and are more
powerful. Some Mobile Suits armed with these are the Geara Doga, the
Sazabi, and the Qubley Mark II.

Fin Funnels: Larger, stronger, and advanced versions of funnels. The Nu
Gundam is armed with these.

"Grunt": A grunt suit is usually one of the weaker, mass production suits.

Gundam: The "Gundam" is the final Earth Federation prototype that is
powerful when it comes to strength, speed, maneuverability, and
defense. The Gundam prototype is the top of the line and is the
first Mobile Suit to use beam weaponry. Later on in the Universal
Century timeline, many different types of Gundam upgrades are created,
as any Mobile Suit labeled as a Gundam is a Mobile Suit with
some of the most superior technology.

Gundarium: A refined version of the Lunar Titanium used on the first Gundam.
This type of alloy is applied to almost all Mobile Suits after 0085.

Gundanium: A very strong and resilient, plasma resistant alloy that was
applied to the Gundams created by the five scientists from the
After Colony timeline.

I-Field: An I-Field is a special force field that can be carried by a
Mobile Weapon that nullifies incoming beam attacks. Since I-Field
generators are large and use a lot of energy, it's usually only used
by Mobile Armors. In the game, an I-Field nullifies incoming beam
attacks from all Mobile Suits. However, large beam attacks from
battleships and Mobile Suits are only weakened to an extent.

Mass Production: A mass production suit is usually a suit that is
created in very large quantities for entire fleets. An example is
the Zaku or the GM. They're usually cheap and easy to manufacture.
However, in comparison to up and coming suits, they're fairly weak.

Mobile Armor: After the creation of Mobile Suits, Mobile Armors began
to be developed. Mobile Armors are large and not humanoid and usually
carry many heavy weapons. Mobile Armors usually carry heavy generators,
allowing them to use their powerful weapons and fly at fast speeds.
Different Mobile Armors have different capabilities and uses.

MA: Acronym for "Mobile Armor".

Mobile Suit: A Mobile Suit is a humanoid mecha weapon used to fight
wars during this era. They're armed with a variety of weapons and
different Mobile Suits have different capabilities and uses.

MS: Acronym for "Mobile Suit".

Moonlight Butterfly: The Turn A Gundam has nanomachines that contain
it's ability to use the Moonlight Butterfly.

Newtype: A human who over time developed psychic powers from living
in space. It's the next stage of human evolution. A Newtype's enhanced
senses and sensitivity make them excellent pilots. Newtypes also have
enhanced empathy and telepathy in which they can understands others
better and can talk to people over long distances. Only Newtypes can
use Newtype weapons, such as funnels.
Examples: Amuro Ray, Char Aznable, Camille Bidan

Phase Shift: Certain MS are armored with the Phase Shift armor from
Gundam SEED. Phase Shift allows the MS to ignore all damage from
non-beam attacks.

SEED Mode: A "hyper mode" which increases all of the abilities of
Coordinators. Kira and Azlan can go into SEED Mode under different
conditions:

Kira - 1) Kira's HP is lowered by 2/3, 2) Archangel's HP is lowered
by 1/2, 3) A certain event trigger SEED Mode, 4) If Azlan is
one of your pilots, if his HP is lowered by 2/3, or 5) If Kira is
piloting Freedom Gundam, he will gain an ID Spell that allows him
to go into SEED Mode.

Azlan (If he is on your team) - 1) Azlan's HP is lowered by 2/3 or
2) Kira's HP is lowered by 2/3.

Super Mode: A special mode that certain Mobile Fighters can go into.
In G Generation Advance, Domon in Shining Gundam can go into
Super Mode. Domon can go into Super Mode under the following conditions:
1) An certain event triggers Super Mode or 2) Upon going into
Super Mode for the first time, Domon will gain an ID Spell that
allows him to go into Super Mode.

Transform: A new ability available to certain Mobile Suits. With the
technology of Mobile Armors well known now and the need for more
high-quality level Mobile Weapons, certain Mobile Suits have the
ability to transform into a Mobile Armor mode.

Transformable Mobile Suits: Mobile Suits that can transform into a
Mobile Armor mode.

VSBR: Variable Speed Beam Rifle. A new, experimental beam rifle that
can fire either small, but fast beam shots or slow, large beam shots.

2-3. Intermission Menu:
-----------------------------------------------------------

Before going into battle, you're given several options:

-----------------------------------------------------------
Section I - Battleship Preperation:
-----------------------------------------------------------

-Mobile Suit Pilot and Assignment: This menu allows you to choose
your pilots and assign them to the Mobile Suit you want them
to pilot, followed by allowing you to designate them to a
carrier/battleship. You can only assign five Mobile Suits to most
battleships.

-Buy/Sell Mecha and Parts: Here, you may buy various mecha to add
to your arsenal as well as parts to upgrade your mecha. If one
of you MS was destroyed during battle, you can come here and pay
for its "repairs". By the end of the game, here is the list of
available MS for sale:

-----------------------
Name of MS         Cost
-----------------------
Victory Gundam     740
Heavygun           700
Zeta Gundam        760
Hyaku Shiki        530
Gundam Mark II     420
Rick Dias          400
GM Command         250
GM Custom          200
Core Booster       170
GM                 150
-----------------------

-MS and Pilot Stats: View the stats of your mecha and their
pilots here.

-Save: You may save at the menu here.

-Load: You may load data from the last time you saved at the
intermission menu here.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Section II - Pilot/MS Stats:
-----------------------------------------------------------

-Upgrade: You may upgrade your Mobile Suits here. You are given
two choices in this menu. The top choice is to upgrade your
MS using items which will change them into much stronger MS. The
second choice is to customize MS into much stronger mecha.

-Downgrade: You may downgrade certain Mobile Suits here.

-Encyclopedia: This is a log of MS you may have obtained and
their "evolution" of what they may become through upgrades
and downgrades.

-Save: You may save at the menu here.

-Load: You may load data from the last time you saved at the
intermission menu here.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Section III - Mission Menu:
-----------------------------------------------------------

-Mission Briefing: Here, you can view what the plan for the
next mission is.

-Free Battle: This takes you to a mission that does not have
anything to do with the plot. It's simply a mission for some
extra money and experience for you and your pilots.

-Next Stage: This will bring you to the next stage.

-Save: You may save at the menu here.

-Load: You may load data from the last time you saved at the
intermission menu here.

-----------------------------------------------------------
2-3. Mission Menu:
-----------------------------------------------------------

This is the menu you can bring up during a mission by hitting the A
Button anywhere on the map or the Start button:

-End Your Turn: If you've done all you can for your turn, go
here to end your turn and initiate the opponent's turn.

-Save: You may save your game here.

-Overview: This gives you an overhead view of the map, where your
units are and where the other units on the map are.

-Unit: You may find whatever unit you have on the map here by
simply clicking on its icon. You will then be brought to its
location on the map.

-Options: You may toggle certain options and other things here.
Go with whatever floats your boat.

-----------------------------------------------------------
2-4. Battle Menu:
-----------------------------------------------------------

When you select a unit, this is the menu that comes up. Various
available choices may come up:

-Move: This option allows you to move a Mobile Suit or battleship
across the battlefield. All units can move except for the Guard
units. Each unit has a different movement rating. For example, the
Nu Gundam can move much farther than something like the Jegan. If
you have your MS in a squad, you may move the entire squad forward
or you may seperate a unit from the squad and have that unit
seperate from the squad and go forward on its own.

-Attack: Like the name implies, this allows you to attack your enemy.
Each unit has one to four different attacks, each varying in statistics.

-Deploy: This option may only be used by carriers such as the Archangel
and White Base. This option allows you to deploy Mobile Suits from
the carrier and onto the map.

-Transform: This option is only available to transformable MS/MA.
If your Mobile Suit has the ability to transform, it can transform from
its MS mode to MA mode or visa versa. Note that when you transform,
you should take a few things into consideration. When you transform,
you gain some new attacks but lose others. However, when in MA mode,
you usually are able to move over terrain at a faster rate. You may
transform at anytime before ending your turn for that unit/squad.

-Capture: This option allows you to capture an enemy MS. Note that in
G Generation Advance, carriers don't have the capture ability. In order
to capture an enemy MS, at least three of your units must be
surrounding the enemy MS, which will give your units the capture
option. When selecting this option, you will be given a percentage
on what percent chance you have of capturing the enemy MS/MA. Follow
these guidelines in order to increase your chances of capturing
the enemy MS:

-Lower the enemy MS' HP as much as possible without destroying it.
-Surround the MS you wish to capture as much as possible.
-Make sure that the MS you wish to capture is not in a squad. You
may not capture enemy MS within a squad.
-The higher level you are compared to the pilot of the unit you
are trying to capture, the better the chances.

*Note that there are certain MS/MA that cannot be captured.

-ID: Here you can use your pilots' ID Spells/Commands. Each pilots'
spells are exclusive to them. These commands have various effects
on that pilots' stats and abilities for that turn.

-Communicate: This allows your pilot to "communicate" with
a certain friendly/enemy/neutral unit. This command will only
come up at certain points with certain pilots and can trigger
different events as well as allow you to convince various pilots
to join your fleet.

-End: This allows you to end that unit's turn. Units/squads that
have ended their turn have an "E" marked on them.

After taking a certain amount of damage, the Phase Shift will run
out.
-During Stage 17, Aile Strike Gundam will be reconfigured so that it
can now be used by non-Coordinators.

Rating: 3/5 - A very useful Mobile Suit throughout the game. It
has an average set of weapons, however, its phase shift armor
makes it a good unit to keep in your squads for the rest of the
game.

Name: Alpha Azieru
Specification: Newtype Mobile Armor
Series: Char's Counterattack
HP: 5500
Attack: 41      Armor: 7
Defense: 47     Move: 6
Terrain: Space
Special: I-Field

Weapon                  Damage          Accuracy        Ammo
Wired Mega Arm(NT)      375x5                   15              7

Vulcan                  300x7                   7               9
M.Particle Cannon               405x5                   5               5

Notes:
-I-Field allows all beam attacks under 400 damage to be negated.
All damage above 400 is reduced by 30%.

Rating: 5/5 - Quite possibly the best Mobile Armor you can obtain
in the game. The I-Field can negate beam attacks while the Newtype
weapons are extremely deadly. A great addition to any team,
especially in the hands of a Newtype.

Name: Apsaras II
Specification: Mobile Armor
Series: 08th MS Team
HP: 3600
Attack: 27      Armor: 4
Defense: 28     Move: 4
Terrain: Flight

Weapon                  Damage          Accuracy        Ammo
M.Particle Cannon               255x5                   5               7

Rating: 2/5 - Though it does have a fairly powerful Mega Particle
Cannon, the Apsalas suffers from a lot of vulnerability and the fact
that its firing power against newer MS becomes very obselete very
fast.

Name: Apsaras III
Specification: Mobile Armor
Series: 08th MS Team
HP: 4000
Attack: 29      Armor: 4
Defense: 32     Move: 4
Design: Apsaras II + Clearance Parts
Terrain: Flight

Weapon                  Damage          Accuracy        Ammo
M.Particle Cannon               285x5                   5               7

Rating: 2/5 - The Apsalas III doesn't have mcuh of a difference in
powerr compared to its predecessor, the Apsalas II. The attack power
and defense have only been raised slightly. Other than that, it's
practically the same Mobile Armor.

Name: BaCOWE
Specification: Coordinator Mobile Suit
Series: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED
HP: 2175
Attack: 38      Armor: 4
Defense: 56     Move: 5
Terrain: Earth

Weapon                  Damage          Accuracy        Ammo
Double Beam Saber               450x2                   25              -
Double Railgun          400x3                   0               3

Rating: 2/5: This is one of those MS that seem to be terrible
annoying in the hands of the enemies, but when you get one, it's
not all that useful. The BaCOWE is at its most useful when
paired with other MS with other long range attacks.

Name: Barzam
Specification: Mobile Suit

HP: 2050
Attack: 31      Armor: 2
Defense: 33     Move: 4

Beam Saber                      450x2                   25              -
Hyper Bazooka           400x3                   0               4

Rating: 2/5: Actually a fairly good MS for what appeared to be
a cannon fodder mech in Zeta Gundam. The Barzam has fairly
average attacks. However, the Hyper Bazooka lacks usefulness
at times because of the Barzam's lack of accurcay.

Name: Bigro
Specification: Mobile Armor

Missile Launcher                370x3                   0               6

Rating: 3/5 - A fairly good space Mobile Armor with good attacks.
However, it demands an upgrade to the Val Varo, which is even
more useful.

Name: Core Booster
Specification: Fighter
Series: Mobile Suit Gundam
HP: 1775
Attack: 34      Armor: 1
Defense: 57     Move: 4

Missiles                        175x5                   5               4

Rating: 1/5 - Not really useful at all, it being a fighter in a
strategy game about Mobile Suits. :/

Name: Death Army
Specification: Mobile Suit
Series: Mobile Fighter G Gundam
HP: 2000
Attack: 34      Armor: 4
Defense: 32     Move: 5

weapons are pretty obselete in combat.

Name: Doan's Zaku II
Specification: Mobile Suit
Series: Mobile Suit Gundam
HP: 1550
Attack: 25      Armor: 2
Defense: 23     Move: 4

Zaku Bazooka            295x3                   0               4

Notes:
-When Doan uses his Super Mode ID, Doan's Zaku II will enter its
Super Mode.

Rating: 1/5: Honestly, it's as powerful as a normal Zaku. Its
Hyper Mode, however, is a different story.

Name: Doan's Zaku II Super Mode
Specification: Mobile Suit
HP: 2250
Attack: 42      Armor: 2
Defense: 99     Move: 6
Terrain: All

Weapon                  Damage          Accuracy        Ammo

Rock Throw                      1360x1          0               -

Notes:
-When Doan uses his Super Mode ID, it will enter this form for the
rest of the battle.

Rating: 4/5: This mech is very useful throughout the game, making
getting Doan and his Zaku II worthwhile. The attack gets a good
push and the defense is raised all the way to 99. Combined with
its strong attacks, Doan's Zaku II in Super Mode is a deadly suit.

low HP and armor don't allow it to last long.

HP: 1800
Attack: 29      Armor: 2

Sturm Faust                     505x2                   0               2

Rating: 3/5 - A much more interesting version of the Dom. The Dom
Bein Nichts has average stats, making it as easy a target as
the original Dom, however, it has much stronger attacks.

Name: Dom Gross Beil
Specification: Mobile Suit

Giant Heat Sword                975x1                   10              7

Rating: 3/5 - Basically balanced peformance-wise like the Dom Bein
Nichts, the DOm Gross Beil comes off as a useful, but in the long
run, a below average MS.

Notes:
-Bunshin gives Domon a 50% chance of completely dodging any
enemy attack.

Rating: 4/5 - G Gundam fans must love this one. You've got yourself
Domon Kashu OUTSIDE of his Mobile Fighter getting the job down.
It's a very strong . . . human.

the Dom had. However, it does have much stronger attacks now.

Hi-MAT Attack           445x5                   50              10 SP

Notes:
-When Kira pilots Freedom Gundam, when fighting at close range,

After taking a certain amount of damage, the Phase Shift will run
out.
-Freedom Gundam's Phase Shift Armor is unlimited. It will never
run out.

Notes: 5/5 - One of the strongest Mobile Suits in the game, the
Freedom Gundam is a powerhouse of all sorts. It has unlimited

Rating: 3/5 - A useful MS for the middle-parts of the game, the Full Armor
Alex has great defense and armor, but has the same attack power
as the normal Alex. It also loses its ability to use the Gattling
Gun while in this form.

4. Walkthrough
===========================================================

-----------------------------------------------------------
4-1. Story Mode:
-----------------------------------------------------------

This is a fairly simple and straightforward walkthrough for
the main story of the game.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 1: "G" on the Ground
-----------------------------------------------------------

Starting Units:
Strike Gundam (Kira Yamato)

Player Reinforcements:
Core Booster (Muu La Fraga)

Player Reinforcements (2):
Archangel (Natarle Bajiru)

Enemy Units:
GINN x3

Enemy Reinforcements:
GINN x5 (Lau Lu Cruize)

Events:
-All Enemies are defeated: Player and Enemy Reinforcements appear.
-Turn 3: Player Reinforcements (2) appears and attacks Cruize’s squad.
Cruize’s squad of GINNs split up.
-Cruize's HP becomes low or is defeated: Cruize retreats

Exp. Events:
-Listen to Mariyu's explaination on combat: +125 Exp.

The game begins with the beginning of Gundam SEED. So, that means you’re
in Strike Gundam and surrounded by GINNs. The duel with the
first two MS are Mariyu Ramias showing you some straightforward and
basic commands for battle, and you’ll end up destroying the first two
GINNs automatically, leaving you to toy around with the last one.
This stage is very basic and you practically can’t be damaged at all due
to the fact the Strike Gundam’s Phase Shift armor will negate all of
the GINNs’ physical attacks.

After the first set of enemies have been wiped out, Muu La Fraga will
show up in a Core Booster being chased by Cruize and a bunch of GINNs.
You’ll be shown how to create squads, and Strike and the Core Booster
will become a team. From here on, simply take out your enemies with
Kira and Muu. Be sure to make good use of your ID Commands to more easily
take care of the enemies. The Archangel will eventually show up and fire
on Cruize’s squad, which will be split up by the attack.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 2: Descend to Earth
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
Archangel (Mariyu Ramias)
Strike Gundam (Kira Yamato)
Core Booster (Muu La Fraga)

Enemy Units:
Vesalius (Lau Lu Cruize)
Musai
Aegis Gundam (Azlan Zara)
Zaku Commander Type x1 (Johnny Ridden)
Zaku IIJ x5

Enemy Reinforcements:
Taurus (Frost Brothers)

Friendly Units:
Salamis Class x4 (Wakkein)

Events:
-Turn 2: Loran Cehack in a FLAT goes to Earth.
-At the end of Enemy Turn 3: The Frost Brothers show up in a Taurus and
destroy Wakein's battleship. Kira goes into SEED Mode.
-At the end Player Turn 5: Heero appears and attacks Strike Gundam. All
units go to Earth.

Exp. Events:
-Mariyu communicates with Wakein: +55 Exp.
-Kira communicates with Azlan: +55 Exp.

Well, this is some mission, and it’s only mission 2! Anyway, you
start out with the units you got in the last mission along with a
whole lot of friendly battleship units carrying some Core Boosters that
are bound to get massacred by the enemy MS and battleships like nothing.
Feel free to turn Kira and Muu into a squad. I don’t suggest attacking
Azlan as you will do minimal damage to him. Keep moving your units across
the battleship towards the other enemy MS and pummel them as quick as
possible.

After a few turns, you’ll get to see Loran Cehack go to Earth in a FLAT
and the Frost Brothers will show up and attack Admiral Wakein’s battleship.
Kira will go into SEED Phase and attack the Frosts and teach them a quick
lesson. Though all of your friendly units are doomed for a quick destruction,
they do a good job of helping lower the enemy MS’ HP. Quickly clean up
the Zeons and go to try and attack Cruize's battleship if you can. At
the end of you Turn 5, the mission will end with an appearance (and course
of action . . .) of a character who isn't all too happy to see Kira . . .

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 3: Escape in Ruins
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
RX-78-2 Gundam (Amuro Ray)
Guncannon (Kai Shiden)
Guntank (Hayato Kobayashi)

Player Reinforcements:
White Base (Bright Noa)

Enemy Units:
Zaku Commander x1 (Char Aznable)
Zaku II x2

Enemy Reinforcements:
Zaku IIJ x5 (Kakarus Doan)
Gaw x3 (Garma Zabi)

Events:
-Turn 2: Enemy Reinforcements appear.
-Amuro communicates with Doan: Doan retreats

Exp. Events:
-Garma’s Gaw comes in White Base’s range of fire: Garma’s Gaw
will be destroyed. Enemy Units accompanying Doan will retreat. If
Doan and Char are still on the map, they will retreat. +155 Exp.

Well, now you're getting control over the One Year War MS fromt the
Mobile Suit Gundam TV series. You'll get immediate control over
Amuro, Hayato, and Kai. Feel free to turn them into a squad. On the
next turn, a whorde of enemies will show up. You must somehow, some
way, defeat Garma within 7 turns. If you'd like, you can immediately
move your units south and wait for Garma's Gaw to be destroyed, which
will send many of your enemies retreating . . .

However, for those of us who want as much money, exp., and units
as possible, we're not going to let this mission off easy, now are
we? You can begin the process to attain Doan in this mission. First
off, Amuro (alone or in a squad) must attack Doan, but DO NOT kill
him. On your next turn, you must Connect with Doan to convince him.
This will cause him to run away, but will trigger an Extra Stage to
be unlocked after this mission is completed. Feel free to do what you
like with Char and the grunt suits left on the map, but don't, get
yourself killed. When the going gets tough, and those Gaws' long range
attacks get annoying, keep moving South and let White Base blow away
Garma. After that, if there are any Zakus left, clean them up.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 4: New Opponent
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
White Base (Bright Noa)
All Available Units

Player Reinforcements:
GM Blue Destiny Unit 1 (Yuu Kajima)
GM x2 (Philip and Samana)

Enemy Units:
Gouf x1 (Ramba Ral)
Zaku IIJ Squads (3 Zaku IIJ) x2
Zanzibar (Hamon Crowley) x1

Enemy Reinforcements:
Efreet Custom (Nimbus Schatzen) x1
Zaku IIJ x2

Friendly NPC:
Core Booster (Sayla Mass)

Events:
-Turn 2: Friendly Units appear
-Turn 3: Player Reinforcements and Enemy Reinforcements appear

Exp. Events:
-Amuro attacks/is attacked by Ramba Ral: +55 Exp.
-Any White Base crew member communicates with Yuu: +55 Exp.
-Yuu defeats Nimbus (causes him to retreat) +70 Exp.

This is your first meeting with Ramba Ral, the pilot of Zeon's
new Earth Mobile Suit, the Gouf. Quickly move your units over
towards the enemies and deploy your units accordingly. If you
wish, deploy Kai and Hayato as a squad and let Amuro go out on his
own temporarily because if Amuro attacks or is attacked by Ramba
Ral (which is VERY likely to happen), it triggers a small scenario
which ends Amuro's turn.

Quickly make your way through the enemies. Use the White Base's
long range attacks to do damage to the Zanzibar. On Turn 2, Sayla
will appear in a Core Booster as an NPC, but is bound to be destroyed
fairly quickly. Yuu Kajima and friends appear on Turn 3, but so
does his EXAM rival, Nimbus Schatzen. Use Yuu's EXAM ID Command
to put him into EXAM mode which will help greatly.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 5: Desert Tiger, Blue Giant
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
White Base (Bright Noa)
Archangel (Mariyu Ramias)
GM Blue Destiny Unit 1 (Yuu Kajima)
-2 GMs (Philip and Samana)
All Available Units

Enemy Units:
BaCOWE (Andy Bartfelt)
BaCOWE Squads (2 BaCOWE) x2
Gallop (Hamon Crowley)
Zaku IIJ Squads (3 Zaku IIJ) x2
Zaku IIJ Squad (2 Zaku IIJ) x1
Gouf (Ramba Ral)

Friendly NPC:
FLAT (Loran Cehack)
Zaku IIF x3
Zaku IIJ (Kagari Yula Athura)
-Zaku IIF

Events:
-Turn 2: Friendly Units appear.
-Kira confronts Andy: Andy attacks Strike Gundam but does no damage,
Kira deals damage to Andy.
-Mariyu communicates with Kagari: All Friendly NPC become Player
Units

Exp. Events:
-Kira communicates with Kagari: +75 Exp.
-Mariyu communicates with Kagari: +75 Exp.
-Amuro defeats Ramba Ral: +75 Exp.

Yay! The first mission where the One Year War and Gundam SEED characters meet
up. At the same time, you’ll have to fight a tough set of enemy aces, one
headed up by MSG’s Ramba Ral coming from the North and the other lead by
SEED’s Andy Bartfelt coming from the South. If you’ve taken Sayla, you
should have 4 MS coming from the White Base (5 if you were able to get Doan).
It’s a good idea to put Sayla, Kai, and Hayato together while taking Amuro
and have him team up with Kira and Muu La Fraga.

Onto the battle. My suggestion is to NOT split up your forces and to
concentrate your forces on either the North or South forces. I highly
suggest going after Ramba’s forces before going after Andy’s.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 6: Battle in Odessa
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
White Base (Bright Noa)
Archangel (Mariyu Ramias)
Zaku IIJ (Kagari Yula Athura)
All Available Units

Enemy Units:
BaCOWE x5 (Andy Bartfelt)
Gouf (Ramba Ral)
-Zaku IIJ
Zaku IIJ Squad (3 Zaku II) x2
Gallop (Hamon Crowley)

Enemy Reinfrocements:
Doms x3 (Black Tri-Stars - Gaia, Ortega, and Mash)
Zaku II Squad (2 Zaku II) x4

Friendly Units:
Zaku IIF x5

Events:
-Ramba Ral is defeated: Enemy Reinforcements arrive

Exp. Events:
-Amuro encounters the Black Tri-Stars: Amuro kills Mash and Gaia and
Ortega retreat. Exp. +400
-Andy Bartfelt’s HP is depleted by Kira: Strike Gundam and Andy’s BaCOWE
have a final duel scene. Kira goes into SEED Mode. Exp. +200

This mission goes from semi-challenging to annoying. Ramba Ral is very
easy to beat in this mission as well as those Zakus that accompany him.
However, if you want to open up the Extra Stage, be sure to destroy the
Gallop before defeating Ramba Ral. The annoying part of this stage are
the BaCOWEs which also fire from a long range which may often force you
to split up your squads.

Anyway, when Ramba Ral is finally defeated, the Black Tri-Stars and a
bunch of Zakus will appear to further annoy you. Merely have Amuro
confront the Tri-Stars kill one of the members permenantly, make the
rest retreat, and get a nifty 400 extra Exp.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 7: Jaburo Raided!
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
White Base (Bright Noa)
Archangel (Mariyu Ramias)
Gundam Blue Destiny Unit 3 (Yuu Kajima)
All Available Units

Player Reinforcements:
Gundam Ez8 (Shiro Amada)
Ground Gundam x2 (Karen Joshua and Terry Sanders)

Enemy Units:
Gundam Blue Destiny Unit 02 (Nimbus Schatzen)
-Dom
Dom x3
Char’s Z’Gok (Char Aznable)
Z’Gok x4

Enemy Reinforcements:
Apsalas II (Aina Sakhalin)
Zaku II x2

Enemy Reinforcements (2)
Dom Tropen Squad (2 Dom Tropens) (Black Tri-Stars)

Enemy Reinforcements (3):
Gundam Ashtaron (Olba Forst)
Gundam Virsago (Shagia Frost)
Apsalas II x5

Friendly NPC:
GM x3

Events:
-Enemy Turn 1: Char destroys a Friendly NPC GM in one hit
-Turn 2: Player Reinforcements appear
-Nimbus is defeated: Player Reinforcements appear
-Apsalas II is defeated: Shiro leaves the map
-All Enemy Units and Reinforcements defeated: Enemy Reinforcements (3)
appear

Exp. Events:
-Amuro attacks Char: +85 Exp.
-Sayla attacks and communicates with Char: +85 Exp.
-Char attacks White Base: Woody Malden attacks Char. +215 Exp.
-Amuro defeats Char: +100 Exp.
-The mission is completed with both Sanders and Karen alive: +85 Exp.

This mission can get very annoying after awhile. You start out with
the units you already had, plus now you have Yuu with the Gundam
Blue Destiny Unit 3, a great unit. You'll have a bunch of enemies
coming in from the South and to the East of your units. Quickly take
care of Nimbus and those Doms, he's really easy to defeat. Note that
there are some opportunities to gain extra exp. with Amuro and Char.

Soon, the Apsalas will show up as an enemy, but you'll be joined by the
protagonists of "08th MS Team. Take the Apsalas apart with long range
attacks like White Base and Archangel's cannons and Guncannon, Guntank,
Ground Gundam, and Gundam Ez8's long range attacks. The Black Tri-Stars
will now show up to fight you once again in upgraded Doms. They're
a bit tougher now since they tend to whore out their ID Spells every
turn, making them toguh-to-hit targets. Send guys like Amuro, Kira,
and Yuu after them to take them out.

After all of the enemies have been cleared out, the Frost Brothers
in their Gundams as well as 5 (Yes, FIVE) Apsalas will appear. The
next turn, you'll be given a choice - Stay and fight, or try to run
away. If you choose to run, simply have all of your units head South
and exit Jaburo. If you want to stay for some money, exp., and maybe
a chance to capture an Apsalas, keep fighting. Personally, i'd
stay for the exp. Those Apsalas aren't -that- hard as long as you
constantly bombard them with long-range attacks . . .

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 8: Encounter of Two Soldiers
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
Albion (Eiphar Synapse)
Gundam GP01 "Zephyranthes" (Kou Uraki)

Player Reinforcements:
Gundam Alex (Christina McKenzie)

Player Reinforcements (2):
White Base (Bright Noa)
Archangel (Mariyu Ramias)
All Available Units)

Enemy Units:
Gundam GP02A "Physalis" (Anavel Gato)
Dom x5

Enemy Reinforcements:
Z’Gok-E (Steiner Hardy)
-Hygogg (Mikhail)
-Hygogg
Z’Gok-E
-Z’Gok-E
-Hygogg
Zaku II FZ Squads (3 Zaku II FZ) x2 (Bernie Wiseman)
Dom Squad (3 Dom)

Events:
-Enemy Turn 1: Enemy Reinforcements appear
-Turn 2: Player Reinforcements appear

Exp. Events:
-Kou attacks Gato: +95 Exp.
-Kou communicates with Gato: +90 Exp.
-Gato's HP is depleted: Gato retreats away. +90 Exp.

VERY easy level here, despite the fact there are a lot of aces
on the enemy side. Simply have Kou in the GP01 attack Gato as much
as possible along with using his ID Command to increase his attack
power. If you want to get Gato much later in the game, make sure
that you have Kou attack, communicate, and defeat Gato. On Turn 2,
Chris shows up, they should be able to defeat him together
before he starts trying to make his getaway.

Even though there are a lot of enemy reinforcements, they take a
lot of damage and don't do much in return. Simply form squads and
destroy them. If you stole an Apsalas in the last stage and are
using it now, it makes your life a whole lot easier. ^_^ If you
want to recruit Bernie to your team, make sure Chris is
on in a squad attacks his Zaku II FZ squad, and then destroys him.
Chris will then bring Bernie back to the Albion.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 9: For Zeon, For Glory
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
Albion (Eiphar Synapse)
Gundam GP01 "Zephyranthes" (Kou Uraki)
-GM Custom (Sounth Burning)
-Guncannon II (Chuck Keith)
GM Custom (Bernard Monsha)
-GM Custom (Alpha A. Bate)
-GM Cannon II (Chap Adel)

Player Reinforcements:
Gundam Mark II (Camille Bidan)

Player Reinforcements (2):
White Base (Bright Noa)
Archangel Kai (Mariyu Ramias)
All Available Units

Player Reinforcements (3):
Master Asia
Domon Kashu

Enemy Units:
Zaku IIJ (Neuen Bitter)
-Zaku IIJ x2
Zaku IIJ Squads (2 Zaku IIJ) x4

Enemy Reinforcements:
Gouf Squad (2 Gouf) x1
Gouf Squad (3 Gouf) x1
Dom Squad (2 Dom) x1
Dom Squad (3 Dom) x1
Dom Tropen Squad (3 Dom) x1

Enemy Reinforcements (2)
Gundam GP02A "Physalis" (Anavel Gato)
Z'Gok-E (Steiner Hardy)
-Kaempfer (Mikhail)

Enemy NPC:
Gerbera Tetra (Franklin Bidan)

Events:
-At the end of Enemy Units Turn 2: Enemy NPC appear
-At the end of Enemy NPC Turn 2: Player Reinforcements appear
-Turn 3: Player Reinforcements (2) and Enemy Reinforcemens appear
-Turn 4: Player Reinforcements (3) arrive. Enemy Reinforcements (2)
arrive sometimes afterwards

Exp. Events:
-Burning communicates with Kou: +100 Exp.
-Christina communicates with Monsha: +100 Exp.
-Master Asia and Domon destroy the Gerbera Tetra: +100 Exp.
-Master Asia communicates with Doan: +100 Exp.

Well, this is quite a mission. Move your 0083 units up towards the
battlefield and start doing the usual attacking and counter
attacking. Soon, Franklin Vidan will show up in a Gerbera Tetra . . .
only to be met by his son, Camille, who isn't too happy to see
what his father is doing. Your main units show up on Turn 3, just
in time to be met by quite a few reinforcements.

Soon afterwards, Master Asia and Domon will show up . . . WITHOUT
their Mobile Fighters! O.O;; Quite interesting, I know. As the
hilarity ensues, make use of Master and Domon and plot through
the remaining enemies. If you have Master attack Steiner Hardy,
they have a very interesting conversation.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 10: The 3rd Gundam Appears
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
Wing Gundam (Heero Yuy)

Enemy Units:
Zanzibar (Killing)
Gelgoog Jaeger x1
Gelgoog x4

Well, you only have one unit for this stage. But it’s a good unit.
A damn good unit. I suggest moving Wing Gundam in and attacking like
crazy. If multiple enemies are in your line of fire, feel free to test
out that nifty Buster Rifle map attack on them. ^_^ Note that if you
win this mission within 4 turns, you will open up another
Secret Stage.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 11: Darkness Crawl
-----------------------------------------------------------

Starting Units:
White Base (Bright Noa)
Archangel Kai (Mariyu Ramias)
Albion (Eiphar Synapse)
Gundam Ez8 (Shiro Amada)
All Available Units

Enemy Units:
Gouf Custom (Norris Packard)
-Gelgoog x2
Z’Gok-E Squad (3 Z’Gok-E) x1
Gelgoog Squad (3 Gelgoog) x2
BaCOWE Squad (3 BaCOWE) x1
Dom Squad (3 Dom) x1
Aegis Gundam (Azlan Zara)
-GINN x2

Enemy Reinforcements:
Apsalas III (Aina Sakhalin and Ginias Sakhalin)
Apsalas II x2
Gelgoog Jaeger Squad (3 Gelgoog Jaeger) x2

Events:
-Shiro confronts Norris: Shiro and Norris duel.
-Norris Packard’s HP is depleted: Norris Packard recovers HP
-All Enemy Units defeated: Enemy Reinforcements appear
-Apsalas III's HP drops below 1/2: Apsalas III recovers HP

Exp. Events:
-Kira communicates with Azlan: +105 Exp.
-Shiro depltes Norris Packard's HP (after his HP recovery): Shiro
and Norris duel. +260 Exp.
-Shiro destroys the Apsalas III: +260 Exp.

Well, this can be very easy or very hard, depending on how you
split up your units. I suggest sending your best units to take
out the Aegis Gundam along with those annoying BaCOWEs while
the rest of your units take care of the rest of the fleet. Make
sure you try to get the event between Shiro and Norris for some
extra exp.

After all of the intial enemies have been defeated, the Enemy
Reinforcements arrive. You have a bunch of Gelgoog Jaegers to
put up with along with two Apsalas II and Ginias and Aina in
the Apsalas III. All of these units have the ability to perform
long-range attacks which may force you to split your group up.
Pull out all the stops on these enemies and get in all of your
units as close as possible. After depelting half of the Apsalas
III's HP, Ginias will kick Aina out, and recover his monster
of a Mobile Armor's HP.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 11: Their goal has not been seen yet
-----------------------------------------------------------

Starting Units:
Archangel Kai (Mariyu Ramias)
Camille Bidan, Heero Yuy, Yuu Kajima, Muu La Fraga, Chris McKenzie,
and Domon Kashu in whatever suits they are in.

Player Reinforcements:
Gundam Ez8 (Shiro Amada)

Enemy Units:
ZAFT Battleship
GINN Squad (2 GINN) x5

Enemy Reinforcements:
Apsalas III
Gaza-C
Gaza-C Squad (2 Gaza-C) x1
Dom Bein Nichts

Enemy NPC:
Alexandria (Bosque Ohm)
Gundam Mark V (Yazan Gable)
-GM III
Guncannon II Squad (2 Guncannon 2) x1
Barzam
Barzam Squad (2 Barzam) x1
Freedom Gundam (Lau Lu Cruize)

Events:
-Yuu goes into red area: Gundam BD3 Disappears
-Two GINNs/GINN Squads Remain: Enemy NPC arrive, the ZAFT
Battleship is destroyed, Enemy Units retreat
-Cruize is defeated: Enemy Reinforcements arrive
-Two Enemy NPC remain: Enemy Reinforcements and Player Reinforcements
arrive

The beginning of this mission is incredibly easy. If you have Muu in
a weak MS, though, chances are, he’ll lose a lot of HP fast. I HIGHLY
suggest making a squad with Heero, Domon, and Kira. It will help when
the Enemy NPC units arrive. When the Enemy Reinforcements arrive, Shiro
will deploy to figh them. However, since the Ez8 hasn't been
configured for space combat, it isn't able to move. Be sure to move down
and protect it.

When the Enemy NPC arrive, you've got to deal with Yazan in the
Mark V. However, Yazan is easy to beat. If you took my advice and made
that squad with Heero, Domon, and Kira, have them confront Yazan and
attack with Buster Rifle for Heero, Beam Saber for Kira, and Shining Finger
for Domon, and it will immediately take his squad out. Work your way
through the enemies, but beware of Cruize and Freedom Gundam, as he does
a high amount of damage.

Peacemillion (Doctor J)
All Available Units

Enemy Units:

-GM Cannon II (Chuck Keith)

Enemy Reinforcements:
Archangel Kai (Natarle Bajiru)
Gundam Mark V (Yazan Gable)
-Barzam x2
Barzam Squad (3 Barzam) x2

Enemy Reinforcements (2):
Gundam Mark II Type 0 (Zero Murasame)

Events:
-Amuro, Synapse, or Bright is defeated/Turn 4 arrives: All
units return to  respective carriers. Archangel and Argama retreat.
-Only Natarle's Archangel Kai and one unit/squad remain: Enemy
Reinforcements (2) arrive.

Exp. Events:
-Archangel and Argama Retreat: +115 Exp.
-Zero Murasame is convinced: +115 Exp.

Good God, you really are on the wrong side of the battlefield. You’re
putting up with your old buddies on the opposite side which is going to be
a pain in the neck if you're not properly prepared for this. I suggest
taking out Kou's GP03D as soon as humanly possible. It can do major damage
and is a huge threat to your team. Also note that it has an I-Field, so
beam weaponry will have little effect against it. Also note that when you
do destroy the GP03D, Kou will eject in the GP03S, which you will
have to defeat, too. Beware of Amuro who is teamed with Sleggar and
Sayla, as they not only have great skills and suits, but after you destroy
Amuro's Re-GZ BWS, he ejects in the Re-GZ MS.

If I were you, i'd let Archangel get pounded down for awhile just so
Kira can go into SEED mode which would be a big help. You can wait
until Turn 4 for a scenario to occur making them run away, but,
you would be missing out on some great experience, money, and a
chance to open up another Secret Session.

When Amuro, Synapse, or Bright are defeated or Turn 4 arrives,
Bosque and Natarle show up in an Archangel Kai ('Cause Bandai was too
lazy to pain it black so that it could be the Dominion *Insert eye
rolling here*) along with a few enemies. Though Yazan is in his
nifty Gundam Mark V again, a strong squad should be able to take
out his squad in one or two hits. Zero Murasame will show up in
a crazy Gundam Mark II prototype, whether or not you had convinced
him earlier. Have Archangel communicate with him to have him
turn sides and end the mission.

Events:
-All Enemy Units defeated: Enemy Reinforcements appear
-MA's HP becomes too low: MA Retreats

Exp. Events:
-Domon communicates with Rain: +125 Exp.
-Loran communicates with Harry Ord: +125 Exp.
-Heero communicates with Zechs: +125 Exp.
-Heero defeats Zechs: +305 Exp.

This stage starts with Domon going into Super Mode and Harry
Ord appearing to help you guys out. Have Domon and Harry form
a squad and communicate with Rain's shuttle to gather some
extra experience. Have your units move towards the battle
and deploy some formidable squads to take care of the
enemies.

If you would like to obtain Zechs, simply have Heero communicate
and then defeat Zechs for now. After all of the enemies are
defeated, there will be some reinforcements. They're not
too hard, but the Qubeley Mark II's funnels can be annoying.

Stage 14: Help the Queen, Diana
-----------------------------------------------------------

Starting Units:
Archangel Kai (Mariyu Ramias)
Peacemillion (Eiphar Synapse)
Albion (Bright Noa)
All Available Units

Player Reinforcements:
Turn A Gundam (Loran Cehack)
-Wing Gundam (Heero Yuy)

Taurus Squad (3 Taurus) x1
Virgo I Squad (3 Virgo I) x1
Mercurius (Alex)
-Vayeate (Muller)

Events:
-Turn 4: Player Reinforcements and Enemy NPC appear
-Archangel convinces Poe or Phil: Poe and Phil retreat

Whoo! One of my favorite stages! A big reason because they start
playing "Turn A Turn", along with the appearance of (You guessed it!)
Turn A Gundam!

A word of warning to remember that long-range beam attack will be
completely useless against the SUMOs. Quickly work your way
through the SUMOs and other enemies up until turn 4. If you
would like to recruit Poe and Phil to your group, do not destroy
them. Wait until Turn 4 arrives, bringing the Enemy NPC as
well as your reinforcements. Queen Diana will be brought to the
Archangel. You can take the Archangel to convince either Poe or
Phil, in which you will be rewarded by having them both retreat and
joining your group during the intermission as well as a great-sounding
BGM of "Moon".

*Note: If you did not have Heero communicate and destroy Zechs in
Session 13, Zechs will appear only as a Friendly NPC.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 15: Challenge to OZ
-----------------------------------------------------------

Starting Units:
Archangel Kai (Mariyu Ramias)
Argama (Bright Noa)
Peacemillion (Eiphar Synapse)
All Available Units

Enemy Units:
Taurus Squad (3 Taurus) x3
Mercurius (Alex)
-Vayeate (Muller)

Enemy Reinforcements:
Mercurius (Heero Yuy AI)
-Vayeate
Virgo I Squad (3 Virgo I) x1
Virgo II Squad (3 Virgo II) x1

Enemy Reinforcements (2):
Gundam X x3 (Tifa Adil)

Enemy Reinforcements (3):
Gundam Ashtaron (Olba Forst)
Gundam Virsago (Shagia Frost)

Events:
-A Taurus Squad is destroyed: Enemy Reinforcements arrive
-Mobile Doll Mercurius and Vayeate are attacked: Enemy Reinforcements (2)
arrive
-Tifa is defeated or Garrod takes over Tifa's Gundam X: Enemy
Reinforcements (3) appear
-Mercurius (Heero Yuy AI) is defeated: Mercurius self-destructs and deals
damage to all surrounding units.

Exp. Events:
-Garrod takes over Gundam X and attacks Frost Brothers: +335 Exp.
-Camille learns his Hyper Mode and destroys the Frost Brothers (Without Domon): +375 Exp.
-Camille learns his Hyper Mode and destroys the Frost Brothers (Domon): +675 Exp.

The initial amoung of units aren't much. Start out the usual way
you do with moving up and attacking. After you destroy a Taurus
squad, however, some Virgo will show up as well as a Mobile
Doll controlled Mercurius and Vayeate. Once you're attacked the
MD controlled Mercurius and Vayeate, 3 Gundam Xs will show up. The
leader of them is a mind-controlled Tifa Adil, who Garrod takes
much interest in. Have the squad Garrod is in attack the Gundam X
that Tifa is in at full strength, but MAKE SURE that you have Garrod
use his damage-reducing ID spell, which will allow you to do enough
damage for Garrod to hijack the Gundam X and rescure Tifa Adil. Go
Garrod! Get the girl and the suit!

. . Anyway. After this is done, you now have to put up with
the Frost Brothers. If you have Camille on your team, he'll get pissed,
go into Hyper Mode, and rip a new hole into each of the Frosts. Note
that if you do not have Domon on your team when Camille does this,
Camille will run away and be lost forever. :/ Needless to say,
make sure you've brought Domon along . . .

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 16: A Swan Will Pass Away . . .
-----------------------------------------------------------

Starting Units:
Nu Gundam (Amuro Ray)

Player Reinforcements:
Archangel Kai (Mariyu Ramias)
Argama (Bright Noa)
Peacemillion (Eiphar Synapse)
All Available Units

Enemy Units:
Sazabi (Char Aznable)
Alpha Azieru (Lalah Sune)

R-Jarja Squad (3 R-Jarja) x1
MP Custom Qubley Squad (3 MP Custom Qubeley) x2 (Leila Raymond)
Dreissen Squad (3 Dreissen) x1
Gaza-E Squad (3 Gaza-E) x1
Gaza-E Squad (2 Gaza-E) x1
Gwazine (Kycilia Zabi)

Enemy NPC:
Zanzibar
Doven Wolf Squad (3 Doven Wolf) x1 (Cima Garahau)
Zaku III Squad  (3 Zaku III) x 1

Events:
-Amuro has a second battle encounter with Lalah: Lalah's Alpha Azieru
will be destroyed
-Lalah’s Alpha Azieru is destroyed: Nu Gundam becomes a Friendly NPC;
Player and Enemy Reinforcements arrive
-Enemy Reinforcements defeated: Enemy NPC appear

Exp. Events:
-Heero, Kira, or Sayla communicates with Amuro: Amuro becomes a Player
Unit again. +140 Exp.
-Sayla attacks and communicates with Char: +140 Exp.
-Zero Murasame convinces Leila Raymond: +100 Exp.

A really sad stage here if you've seen the original Mobile Suit
Gundam series. Move Nu Gundam all the way towards Char and Lalah.
Lalah will attack you, and the computer will take control of your
character for that scenario. When Amuro has a second battle encounter
with Lalah, a short event will occur.

Afterwards, your reinforcements and the enemy's reinforcements will
arrive. Note that Amuro is now a Friendly Unit and is no longer
your control unless you use various characters to communicate
with Amuro. Only various characters will work, such as Kira and
Heero. If you want to convince Leila Raymond, have Zero
Murasame attack the character in the MP Quebley named "NT-001" one
turn and then communicate with her on the next.

Stage 17: Prepare for the Big Devil
-----------------------------------------------------------

Freedom Gundam (Lau Lu Cruize)
GINN x2

Events:
-Dominion is destroyed: Enemy Reinforcements and Enemy NPC
Reinforcements arrive
-All Enemy Units and Enemy Reinforcements defeated: Enemy
Reinforcements arrive

Exp. Events:
-Kira communicates with Azlan: +145 Exp.
-Kira defeats Alzan after succesfully convincing him: +145 Exp.
-Kou attacks and communicates with Gato: +145 Exp.
-Muu La Fraga attacks Cruize and Muu has only half of his
full HP remaining: Muu and Cruize are killed. +735 Exp.
-Sleggar Law attacks Dozle Zabi: Sleggar is killed and Dozle's
HP is reduced by half.
-All Enemy Units and Enemy Reinforcements defeated: Admiral Tiamu
retreats. +365 Exp.
-Amuro defeats Dozle's Gromlin: +365 Exp.

Yes, this is a two-front battle. One one side, you're dealing with
your Zeon buddies and on the other, you're dealing with the Titans.
I would send a majority of my force down towards the Zeons, since that's
where most of the action will be going on while sending a sufficient
force to take out the Dominion and everything else. Note that
the Southern enemies include a Neue Ziel and a Val Varo, two very
powerful Mobile Armor resistant to beam energy. Feel free to deal with
them as you like, but be careful. The Neutral enemies aren't all that
powerful with the exception of Dominion.

After you've destroyed the Dominion, Azlan will show up in the
Aegis Gundam as well as the Netural Reinforcements. If you want
to get Azlan, make sure you have Kira attack him, then convince him,
and then be in the squad that destroys him. Note that if
Muu only has half of his HP and attacks Cruize, Muu and Cruize
will have a final duel scene where Muu will die. You will lose a
pilot, but you will also gain a whole lot of Exp. for getting it done.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 18: Beyond the Time
-----------------------------------------------------------

Starting Units:
Near Argama (Bright Noa)
Peacemillion (Eiphar Synapse)
Archangel Kai (Mariyu Ramias)
Nu Gundam (Amuro Ray)
All Available Units

Enemy Units:
Rewloola
Gwazine
Zanzibar
Geara Doga Squad (3 Geara Doga) x2
Jagd Doga Squad (3 Jagd Doga) x2
Sazabi (Casval Deikun)

Enemy NPC:
Doven Wolf (Johnny Ridden)
-Zaku III
-Zaku III
Zaku III Kai (Shin Matsunaga)
-Zaku III
-Zaku III

Enemy NPC:
Gromlim Froizel (Ginias Sakhalin)
Gromlin x4

Events:
-Turn 2: Enemy NPC arrive
-Casval is defeated: Casval and all Enemy Units become Friendly NPC
-Shiro attacks Ginias: All Enemy NPC retreat

Exp. Events:
-Sayla communicates with Casval: +155 Exp.
-Camille has a battle encounter with Casval: +155 Exp.
-Amuro defeats Casval: +380 Exp.
-Harry Ord communicated with Casval when he's a Friendly
NPC. +155 Exp.
-Shiro attacks Ginias: + 625 Exp.

Char's just went rogue, and you're going to have to smack some
sense into the boy. Start by moving your units down towards
Casval's fleet and moving your units out. Beware of the Jagd
Doga's funnel attacks, because they can be very deadly. Try
to capture a Jagd Doga, if possible. After Casval is defeated,
he and his forces become Friendly NPC.

On the second turn, the Enemy NPC arrive, consisting of a
few units including Johnny Ridden and Shin Matsunaga. They
aren't too tough, however, beware of Ridden's incom attacks.

The real challenge comes after you've defeaten the Enemy NPC.
Ginias shows up with 4 Gromlins as well as his Gromlin Froizel.
If you're lucky, you've got some of the members of Casval's
fleet still alive and ready to back you up for this fight. Bombard
the enemies with long range attacks since they can't move away
from them. Send all of your units into their hyper modes if
possible and try to take out the Gromlins as fast as possible.

After the stage ends, you get to choose whether you want Casval
to be the Rewloola's captain or a pilot. As a captain, he gets
a very nice ID command which allows him to heal all of the
units surrounding the Rewloola. However, he makes an excellent
pilot for his Sazabi unit.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 19: Sunset at Zeon
-----------------------------------------------------------

Starting Units:
Near Argama (Bright Noa)
Rewloola (Eiphar Synapse or Casval)
Archangel Kai (Mariyu Ramias)
All Available Units

Enemy Units:
Gwazine (Aguille Delaz)
Neue Ziel (Anavel Gato)
Lili Marlene (Detrov) [Holds Doven Wolf x5 (Cima Garahau)]
Zaku III Squad (3 Zaku III) x2
Zaku III Kai Squad (3 Zaku III Kai) x1 (Shin Matsunaga)
Doven Wolf Squad (3 Doven Wolf) x1 (Johnny Ridden)

Events:
-Cima Garhau or Detrov are defeated: The Lili Marlene and all of
the Doven Wolf from it retreat
-Johnny Ridden's HP is depleted: Johnny Ridden recovers all of
his HP and boosts his stats
-Shin Matsunaga's HP is depleted: Shin Matsunada recovers all of
his HP and boosts his stats

For the battle of A Baoa Que, this isn't much of a fight. Have
your units move in, sending some towards Shin and some towards
Johnny and quickly eliminate them. Don't let yourself become
a victim to the Doven Wolf's map attacks since they can do
quite a bit of damage. Cima's force will deploy out of the
Lili Marlene, which consists of all Doven Wolf units. If Cima
or Detrov are defeated, they will all retreat from the battle.

The biggest challenge is probably Gato's Neue Ziel, especially
if you're trying to convince Gato to join you and have done it
succesfully. If you've done the previous steps which includes
having Kou convince him during all of their encounters, then
only Kou can fight Gato. In doing this, Gato will revive himself
TWICE after being destroyed. If you do all of this correctly, he
will join your squad.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Stage 20: End of Ambition
-----------------------------------------------------------

Starting Units:
Near Argama (Bright Noa)
Rewloola (Eiphar Synapse or Casval)
Archangel Kai (Mariyu Ramias)
All Available Units

Enemy Units:
Lili Marlene (Detrov)
Doven Wolf Squad (3 Doven Wolf) x1 (Cima Garahau)
Gromlin x2
Dreissen Squad (2 Dreissen) x3
Mass Production Custom Quebley Squad (3 MP Custom Qubeley) x3

Enemy Reinforcements:
Gromlin Froizel (Ginias Sakhalin)
Gromlin x2
Alpha Azieru x3
Virgo II Squad (2 Virgo II) x3

Enemy Reinforcements (2):
Gromlin (Ginias Sakhalin)

Events:
-All Enemy Units defeated: Enemy Reinforcements appear
-Ginias' HP is depleted: Ginias replenishes HP
-Ginias is attacked by a Hyper Mode-activated MS after his
third kill: Ginias will no longer replenish HP
-Enemy Reinforcements defeated: Enemy Reinforcements (2) appear

Wow, you've got your work cut out for you. You've got a whole
lot of enemies stuffed with powerful long range attacks, which
is going to make this battle very, very annoying if you're
not playing right. Wait for the enemies to come towards you
until they're in range of being encountered directly by your
units. If you have Gundam X, a Satellite Cannon MAP attack
would ber VERY GOOD right about now. If you have Gato,
you can get Cima if you attack and convince her with Gato.

After clearing the initial units, Ginias arrives with his
batch of units. Take care of the Alpha Azierus as fast as
possible. The Virgo IIs aren't too much of a threat, but are
annoying to defeat since they can negate most attacks. Ginias'
Gromlin Froizel is the powerful enemy here with some very
strong attacks as well as an I-Field. Be cautious when
attacking him. A good idea would be to bombard him with
as many long range attacks as possible to avoid your units
from taking damage. Your battleships, Nu Gundam, Freedom
Gundam, and Gundam X are all good choices. After you defeat
the Gromlin Froizel a few times, it will reappear each time.
Soon after, however, your team will figure out how to destroy
the DG Cells and break Ginias' ability to regenerate. One of
your protagonist units will then use its strongest attacks
to break the DG Cells.

After defeating the Gromlin Froizel, Ginias will be in its
base - a normal Gromlin. Feel free to laugh and beat him
down. Enjoy the ending. ^_^

-----------------------------------------------------------
4-2. Extra Sessions:

Turn after Aisha has been destroyed: Enemy Reinforcements (2) appear.
-All Enemy Units and Reinforcements defeated: Enemy Reinforcements (3)
appear.
-Three Player Turns have passed since the arrival of Enemy
Reinforcements (3): Enemy Reinforcements (3) retreat

Special Events:
-Hamon's HP is depleted or lowered below half: +200 Exp.

Welcome to the revenge of the angsty girlfriends level. Since
Aisha becomes a squad with two other BaCOWE, the battle becomes
even more annoying. Simply fend off against the Zakus while taking
down Aisha. Soon, Hamon will show up in the Gallop. Destroy her
as soon as possible to get a special event and end the first part
of this mission.

After a bunch of Feddies show up, the tables seem to be turned on
you as you've ended up fighting your own army. Beware, as you're
outnumbered and have some tough enemies to face in this second
part of the mission.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Extra Session 3: Boys Meet "G"
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
Gundam F91 (Seabook Arno)

Player Reinforcements:
Taurus (Usso Ebbing)

Player Reinforcements (2):
White Base (Bright Noa)
Archangel Kai (Mariyu Ramias)
Peacemillion (Eiphar Synapse)

Enemy Reinforcements (2):
Tallgeese (Zechs Merquise)

Friendly NPC:

Enemy NPC:
Wing Gundam (Heero Yuy)

Events:
-At the end of Enemy Turn 1: Player Reinforcements arrive
-At the end of Enemy Turn 3: Player Reinforcements (2) and Enemy
NPC arrive
-Heero Yuy's HP is depleted: Heery self-destructs and deals damage
to all of the units around him

Exp. Events:
-Yuu communicates with Heero: +100 Exp.

Very fun stage filled with Taurus. Move the Gundam F91 in and
have it attack. Don't worry about being ambushed, because the
Gundam F91's bunshin ability allows it to easily dodge many attacks.
Soon, Usso will jump in and hijack Alex's Taurus.

More Taurus will arrive, however, so will your main fleet. Soon
after, Wing Gundam and Tallgeese will show up, with pilots
Heero Yuy and Zechs Merquise respectively not happy to
see you or each other. Quickly make your way through the enemies.
Note that if you destroy Wing Gundam, Heero will self-destruct and
do damage to all of the units surrounding it.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Extra Session 4: A Girl in a Cage
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
Gundam Blue Destiny Unit 03 (Yuu Kajima)

Player Reinforcements:
Shuttle (Maureen)
All Available Units

Enemy Units:
Gundam Blue Destiny Unit 02 (Nimbus Schatzen)

Enemy Reinforcements:
Dom Gross Beil x2
Dom x2

Events:
-Nimbus’ HP is depleted: Nimbus recovers HP
-Turn 2: Player Reinforcements and Enemy Reinforcements arrive
-Nimbus is defeated by Yuu after HP recovery: Nimbus is defeated,
the BD3 is destroyed

Special Events:
-Yuu defeats Nimbus: +555 Exp.

Know when this mission is coming up, and put some good units
in the shuttle, because they will be the only units here to
assist Yuu. If you want to get Doan's Hyper Mode ID, make
sure he and Domon are aboard that shuttle.

Anyway, Yuu will appear first along with Nimbus. Go into EXAM
and initiate combat with Nimbus. On Turn 2, the Shuttle as
well as more enemies will appear. Have Yuu concentrate on
defeating Nimbus, who will recover his HP after being defeated.
If Doan and Domon are with you, have Doan attack Nimbus to
learn his final ID.

If you defeat Nimbus with Yuu, you will get an event and
will be able to get Marion Welsh later, however, note that
you will lose the BD III for good.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Extra Session 5: Young Newtypes
-----------------------------------------------------------

Player Units:
Jegan or Zeta Gundam (Judau Ashta)
GM III (Garrod Ran)

Player Reinforcements:
Amuro Ray (Re-GZ)
Yuu Kajima (Jegan)

Enemy Units:
Gaza-D
-Gaza-C x2
Gaza-D
-Gaza-C x2
Zaku III
-Gaza-C x2
Dreissen
-Gaza-C x2
Zanzibar

Enemy Reinforcements:
Qubeley Mark II (Marion Welsh)
R-Jarja (M'Quve)

Friendly NPC:
Albion (Bright Noa)
Archangel Kai (Mariyu Ramias)
Peacemillion (Eiphar Synapse)

Events:
-Turn 2: Player Reinforcements and Enemy Reinforcements arrive

Special Events:
-Yuu convinces Marion Welsh: +115 Exp.
-Amuro destroys the R-Jarja: +115 Exp.

If you were able to build a Zeta Gundam before this mission, Judau
will make an attempt to steal that. If not, he'll pull a Jegan
out of nowhere.

You don't get many units for this mission, but, if you've
been making use of Amuro and Yuu, you should do fine. You
start the mission with Judau and Garrod who have stolen
a Zeta Gundam and a GM III. Have them form a squad and
move down towards the enemeis. The Gaza MS shouldn't
provide too much trouble for the two of them. On Turn 2,
Amuro and Yuu will show up as well as some enemy reinforcements.

Yuu can convince Marion here if you wish. She will join
your team immediately. I suggest it since she will provide
a whole lot of help here with her funnels, plus, she's
a great pilot.

-----------------------------------------------------------
4-3. Extra Modes:
-----------------------------------------------------------

Upon completing the game, you can open up different game modes
now. One of the extra modes is "Omake Mode", which is a much more
difficult version of the story mode. Here are some notable
differences:

-Muu La Fraga's starting weapon is not the Core Booster, but the
Newtype Experimental GM Juggler.
-All Enemy Units' levels are higher than yours.
-Enemies will now use melee weapons (Ex. Beam Sabers) more often.
-Areas in the game where units started out seperated (not in
squads) will immediately become squads to speed up combat and attack
you faster.

You open up another mode after completing the game by opening up
your completed game save data - "EX Mode". In "EX Mode", you can
"Search for enemies" within 8 EX Stages. In these stages, the
MS are weaker and don't start out in squads. You can fight for
money, experience, and steal MS in here. Also note that in here, you
may be able to open up some "Encore Sessions".

-----------------------------------------------------------
4-4. Encore Sessions:
-----------------------------------------------------------

These sessions can be opened up by playing more and more of EX
Mode.

-Libra is destroyed: Milliardo retreats

A fairly tough mission, but not too tough as long as you've
got a plan mapped out correctly. DON'T rush in there and
attack everything, since you're putting up with some annoying
enemies. I suggest keeping your battleships back and deploying
your MS. A Gundam X would be really helpful here since its
Satellite Cannon can penetrate the Planet Defensors of the
Virgo IIs and has a huge firing range, allowing you to hit
multiple enemies.

Milliardo can be challenging, especially when he feels like using
that Beam Sword of his since it attacks your entire team. Note
that many people get conversations with Milliardo when they fight him.
Once you've destroyed Libra, Milliardo will run away, and the
mission will end.

within four turns.

-Extra Session 4: You may open Extra Session 3 by having Yuu Kajima

-EX Mode: To open this up, complete the main Story mode. In this
mode, you may complete special Free Battle missions that are
only opened up after you have completed the game.

-Special Mode and game extras (BGM and Omake Mode): You can open
these modes by completing the main game. This is a much more difficult
version of the story mode.

-Unlock Doan and his Zaku II: To unlock Doan, follow the
instructions to unlock Extra Session 1. In Extra Session 1, have Amuro
convince Doan. You will get Doan and his custom Zaku II that can go

-Unlock Bernie Wiseman: In Stage 8, have Christina attack and later
destroy Bernie. He will be playable a few stages later.

-Unlock Marion Welsh: Every time Nimbus shows up, Yuu must always
attack him and defeat him in a Blue Destiny Unit. Turn on EXAM when
doing this just in case. You must then acess the Extra Session involving
Yuu and Nimbus and trigger the event where both BDs are destroyed.
Following this, you must trigger Extra Session 5 where Marion will be
piloting a Qubeley Mark II. Have Yuu attack her and then communicate
with her.

-Unlock Zero Murasame and his MC Gundam: During Extra Session 2, defeat
Zero Murasame and he will join. Note that later on, he will defect back,
and you will have to follow the step to get him and his Gundam Mark II
Type 0.

-Unlock Zero Murasame and his Gundam Mark II Type 0: During Session
have the Archangel communicate with Zero to convince him.

-Unlock Leila Raymond and her Quebley Mark II: In stage 17, have Zero
Murasame attack her and then communicate with her.

During Stage 15, an event will occur where Camille goes into a rage.

-Gundam X: In order to obtain a Gundam X, have Garrod attack and lower

an ID Spell that will prevent him from killing an enemy). He will
then take over the Gundam X.

-Unlock Zechs Merquise and his Tallgeese: On Stage 13, have Heero
attack and destroy Zechs. He will show up in the next stage as a
reinforcement.

-Unlock Phil Ackerman and Poe Eiji: In Stage 14, do not destroy them
and wait until after Turn 4. Have the Archangel move in and communicate

Do this one more time, and Gato will join your group.

6. Frequently Asked Questions
===========================================================

These are frequently asked questions that I may have been asked
or I may have seen frequently been asked on the G Gen A
message board:

Q: Can I play this game on a non-Japanese GBA?
A: Yes, the GBA has no territory boundaries, so feel free to
import.

Q: Where can I find the Rom for this game?
A: Look down the barrel of my shotgun to find your answer.

Q: Can Usso and the V2 Gundam do the Wings of Light?
A: Actually, no, it wasn't included in this game. The V2 is
very underpowered in this game.

Q: Why can't I seem to get/find (insert name of MS or character
here)?
A: This is what the FAQ is here for. Read it, and you will find
your answer.

Q: Is Casval Deikun/Char Aznable better as a pilot
A: Honestly, I find him better stuck in the Rewloola. His
ID Command that boosts everyone's stats for an entire battle
is amazing. You probably have enough Newtypes and ace pilots
on your team already, anyway.

Q: Why isn't (insert name of MS or character here)?
A: No idea. Bandai put so much graphical prowess in this game,
that a lot of the characters from many of the series were
missing as well as making this a fairly short game compared
to the other recent G-Gens.

Q: Where can I find gameshark codes?
A: Go ask elsewhere. Play video games without cheats, like a
real man!

Q: What happens to the experience gained during the exp.
events?
A: They are applied to your characters after the battle ends.

Q: I beat the game and unlocked Encore Session 1 in EX Mode,
but no matter how many times I search for enemies, I can't
seem to unlock Encore Session 2. Did I do something wrong?
A: No, you didn't do anything wrong. You must have played
the game throuh Special Mode to get to Encore Sessions 2 through 5.

7. Other Stuff
===========================================================

Well, thanks a lot for reading/making use of my FAQ. Now for other
stuff that I've got to take care of.

-----------------------------------------------------------
7-1. Future Plans:
-----------------------------------------------------------

Well, what I do next is still up for grabs, but now being better at making
FAQs than I was before, I'd like to make more.

-----------------------------------------------------------
7-2. Contact Information:
-----------------------------------------------------------

There are a number of ways you can contact me. The most notable by E-mail
- [email protected] I don't suggest Instant Messaging, for I sometimes
dread IMs.

Another way is pay a visit to the GameFAQs Gundam forum and post a
G Generation topic. I go under the name "RPGZero".

-----------------------------------------------------------
7-3. Special Thanks:
-----------------------------------------------------------

Special Thanks go to the great "Kill 'Em All" Tomino. He is the true
father of the real robot genre and even put together some of the
greatest super robot anime. I will always envy his works and success.
From Mobile Suit Gundam to Turn A Gundam, the Gundam genre will always
be on my list favorite anime.

Thanks to  . . .

. . Bandai for making this great game, as well as other G
Generation games. May Bandai continue to make more G Generation
games for the hardcore Gundam fandom.

. . To the people who motivated me to finish this guide.

. . All of the people who helped me with the translations, especially
AmuroNT1 and Edward Elric/Mikari.

. . To CJayC for hosting GameFAQs.

. . And again as always, to my computer. The damn thing took so much
abuse from me in the making of this FAQ.
