II. Introduction

Welcome to the Boss Faq for Power Rangers: SPD! Here I will
list all the bosses you will face in the game and give you
strategies on how to defeat them. Although I am a Power Rangers
fan, I do not like SPD. But the game is another story. This
side-scrolling game is awesome and I'm sure you'll enjoy what
the game will offer.

III. Controls

The game's controls are simple enough to understand, but below I have
them listed:
A button = Jump
B button = Attacks
L button = Does nothing
R button = Activates a certain ranger's special power (temporarily)
Left, Right, Up, Down = Directional Pad
Start = Pauses game
Select = Nothing

IIII. Boss battles
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Bosses usually appear near the end of a level in a game (just like in
most games). Below are the following bosses and strategies on how to best
subdue them.

|A) Episode 1|
============

BOSS FIGHT: Bluehead
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Since this is your first boss fight, this guy is easy. He'll
send out a few troopers to accompany him, so take them out first.
Then concentrate on the boss. He runs towards you and tries to tackle
you, but this can easily be dodged by jumping away. He fires a laser
at you, which is also easy to avoid. Just go up to him and hit him
where it hurts. He may summon more troops if you don't finish him off
in time. Just deal with the troops first before going after the boss.
Then finish the boss off.

|B) Episode 2|

BOSS FIGHT: Salimoht
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
A decently hard boss. He'll start off by hurling a crate at you.
Run towards him quickly to avoid it and hit him with your punch
combos. If he tries using the crate attack again, just run towards
him and hit him with punches. He fires 3 projectiles at you and they
are hard to avoid. You can bounce off the boxes on the far left and
far right of the screen to avoid those. Then go up to him and nail
him with more punches. When he gets back up from the ground, just play
keep away until he has fired those nasty projectiles. Then go back to
him and nail him again. This battle shouldn't be too hard.

|C) Episode 3|

BOSS FIGHT: Rhinix
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
He'll start off by leaping away and stand on a building with railings,
firing an explosive missile at you. Even though he only fires one missile,
it will explode on the ground upon impact and create multiple flames that
will cover every ground. Double jump to avoid the flames. When he comes
back down, nail him with your sword slashes. When he gets up from the
ground, he'll try ramming you with his horn. Quickly either double jump
away or use the forcefield to intercept him. Then nail him with more
slashes.
He'll probably leap away again, back to the building with railings.
Like before, dodge the sole missile he fires and avoid the flames by
jumping away. When he comes back to the ground, hit him hard. He is
likely to throw a bommerang at you, in which case you should use your
forcefield to avoid it. Once you have done that, rush up to him and
hit him where it hurts. When he gets back up and tries to fire a
horn projectile at you, hide behind your forcefield (while it lasts)
to avoid it. Now just use your usual tactics and finish him off.

|D) Episode 4|

BOSS FIGHT: Zerhadan
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Your first megazord battle. This guy isn't too hard. The A button
is to punch and the B button is to kick. Use these combos to completely
pulverise this guy. When you have whittled his health down to about 10%,
the Delta Squad Megazord will receive a power boost. Now you can use the
sword! Finish off the monster with the A and B buttons, and you are done.

|E) Episode 5|

BOSS FIGHT: Detagor
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
This guy is tough. He moves pretty fast and his sword techniques are
pretty overwhelming. He sends a electric wave from the ground right
towards you, so use your jump to avoid it. There is one very easy way
for you to beat this boss effortlessly. All you have to do is use
the Yellow SPD Ranger's cloning technique. This way, her multiples will
deliever more sword slashes as well as the original. And this way, the
boss' HP will be whittled down even faster. Should your cloning technique
wear off before you lower the boss' health to less than half, then just
jump around for a while and avoid him until your power meter is full
again. When it becomes full, use the cloning technique again and deliever
the final blows on the boss to finish him off.

BOSS FIGHT: Majesrah
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Another megazord battle. Just like your previous megazord battle, this
boss isn't too hard either. Just use a mixture of A and B buttons until
his health is whittled down to less than 10%. When you have done so, your
megazord will be able to use the sword. Deliver the last few knock out
blows and it'll be over.

|F) Episode 6|
============
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS FIGHT: Scimatu
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
First you'll have to deal with the 5 troopers Scimatu sends down.
After wiping them out, Scimatu will battle you. It was a lot easier
to defeat this guy using SPD Yellow, but as SPD Red you are not as
versatile. But this fight can still be won. He still has the same
sword techniques and he does fire lightning ground level to stun
you. Jump out of the way when that happens. He also fires a thunder
projectile from his sword, so dodge that too. You can use the two
walls (one on far left and the other on far right) to bounce off and
evade those. Just play keep away for a few seconds, then rush up
to him and deliver a few punch combos. Jump kicks aren't bad either.
Eventually Scimatu will run away and send down those 5 troopers again
for you to kill. After you've disposed of them, deal with Scimatu all
the way until you have beaten him.

BOSS FIGHT: Xameliss
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Yet another megazord battle. Just like the first two bosses you've
fought using the Delta Squad Megazord, this boss is no different. Use
those mixtures of A and B button combination until his health is depleted
to 30%. When that happens, your megazord will use its sword. Deliver the
last few blows and this guy will go boom.

|G) Episode 7|

BOSS FIGHT: Drew
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Before fighting the boss, a target lock will appear on you! Quickly
move around to prevent getting shot. The target lock will follow your
movements but if you keep up your momentum, it will be unable to hit
you. Once the target lock is gone, the boss will step in. Assault him
using your sword techniques. This guy's specialty is electricity. He
will fire a electric projectile at you, so double jump to avoid. Then
keep hitting him with your attacks. If you stay near him for too long
he'll send electricty out of his body, which will hurt you quite a bit.
When he fires another projectile again, jump away and rush him with your
attacks. If you're not quick enough to finish him off, he'll fly out of
the screen and that target lock will appear again. Like before, run back
and forth to avoid the target lock until it's gone. When the boss comes
back, just repeat what you've been doing before and you will win.

BOSS FIGHT: Drew (Megazord battle)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Well here we go again, yet another megazord battle. Need I point out
what strategy you should use over and over again? *yawns* Ah well, I'll
reteriate. Mixtures of A and B makes the world go round. There, did that
make sense to you? I sure hope it did, mister/miss. Seriously, this guy
isn't that tough. But his attacks are sure fast and chances are you may
not be expecting the unexpected (well duh!) Just pound him until his
health is depleted to 50%. Now deliver the rest of the blows until
"Drew" is destroyed.

|H) Episode 8|

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS FIGHT: Benaag
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
This guy is tough. He fires homing missiles at you and has a pretty
nasty claw attack. Play keep away at the moment. Run around, avoiding
him, and wait for the right moment to attack. When he has used several
attacks but have failed to hit you, quickly go up to him and nail him
with your punch combos. Then play keep away again. Try to dodge all
his attacks, especially the homing missiles, and when you see an open
opportunity, attack him. Just keep repeating the process until you have
wiped his HP clean.

BOSS FIGHT: Kriegun
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
This is the final megazord, rock em' sock em' robots battle of the
game. Enjoy this while you can folks! Don't take this boss lightly,
for he is tough as nails. But again just like all the other bosses
you have vanquished with Delta Squad Megazord, this one shouldn't
be any different. Remember to use those mixtures of A and B. When
he is down at 30%, your special mode will be activated. Now deliver
the final blows and this boss will be vanquished.

BOSS FIGHT: Benaag
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The final boss IS Benaag apparently. Didn't we already defeat him
once as the Red SPD Ranger? Well anyways, this fight isn't too difficult.
Especially since you have the stronger SPD Shadow Ranger. Benaag is
still the same as before. He has those annoying homing missiles, which
are very hard to avoid, and also his slashes are a pain. But still
for a final boss battle, this guy isn't too hard. Just rush up to
him and perform sword slash combos. I went all-out here as I didn't
care about getting damaged. I still defeated him easily. But it's up
to you if you want to win your fight in a strategic manner. In any
