2: Introduction
----------------

The game is totally based on the manga GetBackers. It's a 3D RPG, which I think
is, rather long. It isn't all that fun, as it is pretty repetitive overall. But
if you liked the manga, and feel like you need to see how the game is, then
you'll have to play. Like most RPGs, you have special powers and fight against
people. But this time, it's not for peace, it's for your own survival. Also,
this is my first time writing a walkthrough; I hope it can help.

-------------
3: Controls
-------------

Direction pad: Move, highlight option, redden the location you want to go to
(in the map)
A:             Talk (press to accelerate), select, search for items
B:             Cancel
L:             (in menu) go to first option
R:             (in menu) go to last option
Select:        Same as start
Start:         Pause menu, (in menu) press to see how much exp. points you have
Note:          The amount of experience receive after a fight is divided by the
number of members you have in your party. (more in the battle
system section) Also, you can't remove a member who has joined
and you can't refuse to have a new member...

------------
4: Options
------------

Before the game:
-New game: Start a new game.
-Continue: Continue from where you last saved.
-Bonus   : Continue after you finished act. 6 to access the bonus act.
-Revenge : If you died in a boss fight, you can go back right into the last
          scene you were in.

In the game:
-Affinity: See how a character considers another and/or himself. Ex: Ginji
considers Ban as a good person. Press L/R to change. This may or may
not be different considering how you fight. It could also affect the
          ending, but I doubt it.
-Tools   : The items you can't give away. You use those on special conditions.
          There are 14 in total.
-Special : The character's powers. There are 8 for each. You gain them as you
level up. Some (like healing) can be used outside of fight.
-Items   : There are 24 kinds in the whole game. They each have a reserved
position. You get them by fighting. Press L/R to view the next set
          of eight.
-Change  : Change the order of the characters. Sometimes, a different dialogue
comes up when another character speaks to one (not verified).
-Enemies : A collection containing all the enemies you've fought. Press A to
view their attack movement. Bosses are in there, too.
-Save    : Save your game.
          -Admit : Save
          -Cancel: Cancel
-Back    : Go back to the previous screen.

In a fight:
-Attack : Choose the opponent to attack. You can choose yourself, and some
enemies can't be attacked (ex: dog) but they can hit you.
-Guard  : Defend yourself. It lowers the usual damage done to you.
-Tension: You'll need it to perform special attacks. You can only have 8 levels.
Tension goes up as you attack. Select to add 2 levels.
-Escape : Escape the battle. Doesn't always work.
-Items  : Use you items.
-Special: Use special powers. You can always use them on either the enemy or your
allies, but not those targetting yourself.
-Change : When you have four of more characters, you can switch them with one
of your the members who are fighting.

Note: The amount of tension used to perform a special depends on your level
(less if you're at a high level).

-------------------
5: Battle system
-------------------
In this game, other than the usual (menu, choose action to perform, action,
enemy turn) type of battle, there is something called the just system. If you
time your hits right with the R shoulder command, you can get a 'bad', 'good',
or 'just'. When getting bad, you will lose about half a Tension point. Good
will give the same amount if it decreased, and just will refill the most: a
whole Tension point. It can't be done when using special attacks (well I
couldn't). If you don't press R, nothing abnormal happens. Hitting the enemy
will give you the same amount of Tension than a 'good' though.

As for the experience, if you control 6 characters the person who kills all the
enemies in a battle, takes almost the 27,1%  of the total experience and the
rest almost 14,6%.

For example if after a fight you get 8500 experience that goes:

8500*27,1% (for the killer) + 8500*14,6% for each one of the other guys (for the
other two or more who participated in the battle and for the three or less who
have not participated). That means that the killer gained about 2300 experience
and the rest of the team 1240.

If you have more killers then things become more complicated.

---------------
6: Characters
---------------
-Mido Ban:
He's called the 'Snake man'. His eyes have a special power which can cause
illusions if used against someone. It's a minute long and he can't use it on
the same person for 24 hours and has limited use: 3 times a day. Unfortunately,
you can't use it at will in this game. In fact, he has the eyes of an old lady
who told him that he would have a lot of bad luck and is the only one to
possess those eyes. He also has a gripping (usually the position of your hand
when you hold someone's neck) power of 200 kilograms.

Specials:
1. Targets a single enemy. (1 tension minimum)
2. Targets a single enemy. (1 tension minimum)
3. Targets a single enemy. (1 tension minimum)
4. Targets self. (1 tension minimum)
  Effect: Increase speed.
5. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
6. Targets all enemies. (2 tension minimum)
7. Targets all enemies. (2 tension minimum)
8. Targets a single enemy. (1 tension minimum)

-Amano Ginji:
He's called the 'Electric eel'. Before, he was the leader of Volts, Shinjuku's
most powerful group. Back then, he was called Raitei, or Thunder Emperor. He
changed and left the Infinite Castle after meeting Ban. When he left, his group,
mostly the four kings, lost their place there and were sad. Someone with great
intelligence then ruled over the Infinite Castle; he experiments fusion on stuff
like metal on girls so they can change their body... Anyway, Ginji has an
enormous amount of cells which can produce electricity from within his body,
though he can only do so if he has eaten enough food that can give him back
energy. Ex: tuna is not a good idea, but meat is.

Specials:
1. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
2. Targets an ally. (2 tension minimum)
  Effect: Heals some hp.
3. Targets a single enemy. (1 tension minimum)
4. Targets self. (4 tension minimum)
  Effect: Increase attack.
5. Targets a single enemy. (1 tension minimum)
6. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
  Effect: Reduce evade rate.
7. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
8. Targets self. (8 tension minimum)
Effect: Um... become much stronger? He can't change with someone else in that
state, nor can he guard. He seems to have infinite tension too. Use it again
  to become normal Ginji.

-Kudo Himiko:
She was a professional deliverer. Her brother was killed by Ban in the past,
before the Get Backers organisation began. She uses poisons to kill her enemies
(not seen in the game). She was delivering with Akabane Kudoro, but apparently,
joined the Get Backers. She's called Lady Poison.

Specials:
1. Targets all allies. (1 tension minimum)
  Effect: ?
2. Targets all allies. (2 tension minimum)
  Effect: Heals some hp.
3. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
4. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
5. Targets an ally. (4 tension minimum)
Effect: Heal a dead ally fully.
6. Targets all allies. (1 tension minimum)
  Effect: Increase speed.
7. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
8. Targets all enemies. (4 tension minimum)
  Effect: Decrease all stats.

-Fuyuki Shido
One of the four kings. He's a beast master... so apparently, he can call rats
or any other animals to attack. Not only that, but he can also take the
personnality/skills (note that he can't fly...) of an animal and attack his
enemies. He joined the repossessors. He, Ginji and Kadsuki all met in the
Infinite Castle. Ban calls him monkey boy...

Specials:
1. Targets self. (1 tension minimum)
  Effect: Increase speed.
2. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
3. Targets self. (1 tension minimum)
  Effect: Increase evade rate.
4. Targets a single enemy. (1 tension minimum)
5. Targets all allies. (3 tension minimum)
  Effect: Increase defense.
6. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
7. Targets self. (4 tension minimum)
  Effect: Increase attack.
8. Targets all allies. (3 tension minimum)
  Effect: Heals some hp.

-Fuchoin Kadsuki
One of the four kings. She's a guide and leads the whole team. Coordinating
everything and most of the actions when she's there. Well I say she, but in fact,
it's a man. He is also a master at spying on others, whether they are allies or
enemies. He was called Kadsuki of the strings, or string boy...

Specials:
1. Targets an ally. (2 tension minimum)
  Effect: Increase defense.
2. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
  Effect: Decrease speed.
3. Targets all allies. (3 tension minimum)
  Effect: Increase defense.
4. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
5. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
6. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
7. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
  Effect: Decrease defense.
8. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)

-Kurodo Akabane
He was, like Himiko, a professional delivrer. There isn't much information on
him... He uses sharp cutting instruments (normally used in dissection, I believe)
that are hidden in his body. Moving very fast, he can attract them outside and
cut his enemies with them. Even if he says himself that he's soft, he's the kind
to kill without blinking his eyes. Ginji's got a terrible fear of this guy,
although he already beat him once. He was called Doctor Jackal. It probably has
a connection with the J letter that he draws on his opponents' back when
defeating them.

Specials:
1. Targets all enemies. (1 tension minimum)
2. Targets a single enemy. (1 tension minimum)
3. Targets a single enemy. (2 tension minimum)
4. Targets all enemies. (2 tension minimum)

He's the only one with four attacks.

-Hevn
She usually informs people and brings very hard, ending in rewardless, jobs. She
will remain in Honky Tonk after the first act. She never follows the group on
their jobs, either. It's not because she's weak; she can fight, but she just
doesn't. Her physique makes Ban and Ginji accept jobs that they normally never
would.

-Cat doll (Maneki Neko):
It does nothing. It has no specials. It has no attack nor defense nor anything
most characters have. It only has 200 hp which can be brought back. You just
have to find it and take it back in Act.2. I don't know what happens if it's
broken/killed/has 0 hp. Probably it's game over.

----------
7: Items
----------
I'll list the functions of the items from left to right, up to down, for the
three pages. You have to think before using them because even an hp replenishing
item can be used on a character that has full hp. I know I'm missing some, if
anyone can tell me what it does, I'll gladly put it up. All can be used in
battle and those with a * next to their number can only be used in battle. A lot
of items can be found in desks, or any other object. Talk to them often to get
some.

Page 1:
1. Heals a small amount of hp to one person.
2. Heals a medium amount of hp to one person.
3. Heals a large amount of hp to one person.
4. Refills a small amount of tension to everyone.
5. Refills a large amount of tension to one person.
6. Refills 8 levels of tension to one person.

8.1: Act.1
------------

At the beginning, some kind of weird company people talk between each other.
Next, you'll be in a park begging for some food. You start flirting a girl,
presenting yourself as the GetBackers, they seem not interested so you go
telling her how beautiful she looks (apparently, she's supposed to look like
a Japanese star), until when you ask you to buy you some food. She hits you and
goes away. Your partner asks you how much money you have. He plans to buy food
instead. When you gain control, go find Ban on the same screen. For now, you're
Ginji. After talking you have to find a car looking like a restaurant. Go
south, then east. You realize you don't have enough money. The stuff you want
to buy is 84 yen. You're 4 yen short. So go back to your friend. A kid will
show up and you're supposed to get back his lost FF game for some money. Accept
by selecting the first option. Go east from here, you should find a fat kid.
He'll escape, go south and east. He's hiding behind the chairs, talk to him and
he'll attempt to escape once more. Go west twice and you'll find him hiding
behind the big black thing (I suppose it's the toilet but since you can't get
in) Now go east and north. You should be able to recognize him.

Now talk to him and get in your *first* fight. Actually it's not really a fight
since you don't have to do anything. After the first round he'll start crying
and people around will notice how cruel you are (even if you didn't choose attack
him). His father will come and you'll to fight him. Strange thing is that he
looks skinnier in the battle. Well again, and sadly, this isn't a real fight.
Well, lucky! The kid left the game behind him. Go back get your money from the
kid by heading west. After this, you can finally buy the food... Unfortunately,
the dog seems to have taken it away. Now go west and talk to the man near the
northern exit. Go through it and north again. You'll fall on the ground because
you're too hungry to move. An old man will offer you food and the night falls.
You tell him that you're the GetBackers who get back stolen things. The old man
will ask you to return his daughter from some Yakuza company in exchange for all
his money, which is about 1000 yen. At first you decline, but Ginji will insist
and tell you to do it since the old man's been nice by giving you food. Go back
up and press A on the shiny spot. It replenishes HP. Head south, west, south
(here you'll find that dog but you can't beat him up), and south again.

Choose the house. Here you'll start having random battles, so be prepared. Go
up to the door but it's locked shut. Go west or east until you get to a screen
where there's an electricity panel, don't worry, it's pretty straightforward.
Ginji will use his electric power to open the door. A guard then passes by and
notices that the panel's broken, he walks down and you'll have to fight him!
Level up a bit if you need before going up to the panel. When his hair blow,
his attack won't hurt you so much. When you win, you'll receive an item that
will give you back a few hp to all members. You'll also threaten him to tell
you where the old man's daughter is.

Go in the door you just unlocked and up another door. Turn left, north, west,
up a bit and east, east and go up the stairs. Go east to find a shiny key to
access the rest of the house. Go back down, west, west and south and up the
stairs. Go east since the guy won't let you pass. Now go south, west and south
to find the girl. Doesn't she look innocent? Well don't be fooled! She leads
you into a trap which, unfortunately, you can't avoid. Anyway, once you're done
with the conversation, follow her to the door and down the stairs. Go up, turn
then up, and up for the last time to catch up with the girl. Talk to her again
near the door and get ready to fight the Yakuza gang. The girl was in fact the
girlfriend of the Yakuza boss and you'll have to fight his henchmen (the girl
hates her father since he's not rich...). Nothing to worry for this battle,
like the previous guard, the middle guy will have his hair blow up and lose
attack power. Now you'll have your very first boss battle, notice how the
"opening" is different as well as the bgm. Don't be afraid to throw all the
special attacks you have on him. You should have at least 2 for each member
now. This boss can shoot twice during a turn so he might hit both of your
characters. When you win, you'll get 1400 exp, which isn't all that much.
Well he isn't down yet and it appears that he's killing you and everyone
becoming a zombie. Actually this is just an illusion produced by Ban's evil eye
so that the girl opens her eyes and goes back to her father. But she still
doesn't want to come with you so you leave. Outside, you'll meet your old
friend, Hevn. She found a nice job for you. At first you refuse as you remember
the past times you took one of her jobs. But a woman has her tricks for making
a man do whatever she wants. At the end of this act, you will learn more about
the plot of the game.

------------
8.2: Act.2
------------

It begins in a restaurant where you meet you employer (it's the girl in purple).
She explains you that someone has stolen her valuable family treasure passed
down from generation to generation. The objet is said to bring luck. Anyway,
when you gain control, you find yourself back in the park. If you go back to
the restaurant and talk to the man behind the counter, he'll replenish your hp.
Also, you can't go back into the Yakuza house; the policemen seized it.
Remember the old man? Well go a screen below and talk to the red haired guy.
Now go up to meet the old man. You can't do this before talking to the red guy.
You tell him about his daughter and he's sad he couldn't see her, but he'll
still go get you something. Here I don't know what he gives you, if anyone
knows, please e-mail me and I'll put it up. Now leave the park and go to the
new place. Another of those dark scenes will show. Once the conversations
finish, go north and through the path, not the door you see, just a bit up of
it. Enter the door, go west twice and you'll notice something bothering your
ears. Go all the way up, turn left, and enter the first door you see. Press A
on the cat door, a scene will follow. Ginji will try to open it without avail.

Exit this place, go to the restaurant, talk to everyone and go back to the
house from act 1. Try to go in it and a policeman will stop you. Go behind the
bushes to his right.(Thanks to Terry Kim for the information) The policeman will
go away for a break, leaving you the chance of going in. Inside, just go north
up to the place where the cat was. It disappeared, so you'll have to find it.
Feel free to talk to anyone, you won't be taken back out. From there, go right,
up, right, up twice, right, up the stairs and into the room which a policeman is
standing by. There should be a shining dot in the top-right corner. Pick it up.
It's a key. Go back to where the cat doll disappeared. From there, go left, up
a bit, left, and up the stairs. Go left and down the two next set of stairs. Go
down, and follow the trail until after the next stairs. Go down, talk to the two
people there, go back up and up the stairs. The cat doll is there, talk to it.
After the scene, it will seem that the cat can 'walk' by itself but you're
carrying it. It can be hurt, but it can't do anything more in battle. Try your
best to protect it... or more like heal it, if you prefer. Also, you'll get more
battles once you have it. Now go back out (no, you don't and can't put it back
to its original place) and prepare for a boss fight. Well, there's no actual
way to beat this guy since every of his hits will kill you right away. I don't
know what happens if the cat doll 'died' though. Akabane Kurodo (wearing a blue
hat), code named Dr. Jackal, and Kudo Himiko (the girl), code named Lady Poison
(she has something to do with Ban's past) will come and get the cat doll. You'll
wake up and fight a real fight... though, with your life points, you're as good
as dead. His attacks will be decent. Try to use an item right away, hope you
have enough for the first few rounds. Afterwards, the fight will be easier. Also,
hope for his miss if he's faster than you. For healing, you can use Ginji's
tension, then special # 2.

After you beat him, another scene about where the cat went will follow. Akabane
will go away, leaving Himiko. She'll scream and you then discover her inanimated
body. She'll join you and you'll have to leave the cat there. Go right, enter the
door, go left, left, and to the upper right hallway. Enter the big gray door
looking like an elevator. You'll be on another floor. Go left to see a scene
(you're supposed to be hearing an annoying noise) go down twice and left as much
as you can. Go into the red elevator and up to hear the noise again. Continue
going up and you'll see the 'machine' making noises. You'll have to battle it as
a boss. It may be hard, so I suggest leveling up before. Use Himiko's special # 2
to heal often. The machine's attack will dizzy you, so you can't choose what to
do until someone hits you; this might be pretty annoying if you're low on hp.
Also, the animation here will be VERY annoying. Anyway, when you finish it off,
you'll get the cat doll and place it into the door. In there is a coffin which
contains your client's husband. Then, the mysterious 'organisation' will
suspect that you're in their way.

------------
8.3: Act.3
------------

You'll be in Honky Tonk. Talk to everyone. Go in the park, and up. Talk to the
guy who's standing there. His name is Shido and he'll join you, saying that he
lost his dog. He has a handsome level, but is still nothing compared to the
main characters'. From now on, you'll have another option of the battle menu,
see the Options section for more information. The good thing here is that even
though the character who will be left out receive experience points. Anyway, go
and talk to everybody, especially to the people having dogs with them. There
will be a scene. Go to the newly opened location, a dog will come and go away.
I'll call this the shopping district. Personally, I don't like this place as it's
huge.

You will encounter snake people enemies here. They are fast, have high attack,
and can also poison you. Your poisoned character will not lose hp while walking,
but only after every fighting turn. The flies don't hurt much, but they can
reduce your attack every turn. These are only for the battle you're currently
fighting.

Anyway, talk to everyone, go to the elevator at the extreme right, and choose
the second floor. Go to the lower left part of the screen and talk to the guy
STANDING there. After you beat him, a couple of dogs will run off.

Talk to everyone and go the the third floor. Here, you'll meet some rabbit like
enemies. They won't attack unless you do. They will only explode after a while,
giving about 50 damage to everyone. I believe that the more time you spend in
the fight, the slower they take to explode. If they do so, you won't receive
their experience points.

From the elevator, enter the first door you see. Go up and continue for 3
screens after entering that door. After, enter the first one you see and follow
the track until you arrive at some place with some sofa. Go to the room's upper
right corner and talk to the parrot. After the conversation, exit the place by
the same way you came in and go to the fourth floor.

There, walk along the north side of the wall and continue south until you reach
a door. Enter the door on the south wall and talk to the shelf. Talk to it once
again after it's been moved. Continue along and you'll reach another scene...
which is followed by a boss battle. There isn't much to say about it... just
that the boss has over 3 times the power of the snake man. When you win, Shido
will finish him off. His dog will run away. Go back to the parrot and talk to it.
Now go to the park and talk to the food selling guy. The white dog comes out
and Shido will take it.

------------
8.4: Act.4
------------

Now you control Kadsuki... who just had a quarrel. Note how his hair looks like
a purple tail when he walks upward. Since you can't leave the park, go left and
down for a scene. It doesn't matter from which you way you go, you'll arrive
from the right. You'll have to fight that guy; he's easy, but you can lose if
you're not careful. His first and third special modify your defense and the
second one slows you opponent. He can't heal except by using items (now I wonder
why he has some). After you beat him, they'll all go away and your party arrives.
He recognizes Ginji. Next, you'll see a scene where the mysterious organisation
will talk about how the Get Backers are bothering their plans. Apparently the
boss is mad... Then Hevn will bring a client. He tells you to go to a tall
building and you do. Great, you got a new member which means less exp. points
per battle! I think some enemies here are weaker than the ones you fought back
in the shopping district.

You can't go into the building yet and you need an ID. Go around, visit EVERY
place and go out. Come back when it's night. (When the little girl isn't in the
main screen anymore) If it's still not night, go to Honky Tonk and talk your
client. Now go left, up and right and right for a scene. It seems like a dead
end, but it's in fact a way inside. Unfortunately, you can't go back, but the
shiny point at the lower-right part of the screen is a healing point. You'll
need the ID to go down, so exit to the right. There will be a weird electricity
sound. You will also need the ID to use the elevator, so go down twice and right
twice. Talk to the guy there and fight him for the ID you've been seeking for so
long. There are levels of ID. This is only the first one; you'll need higher
levels to proceed to some other doors. Exit left twice, up twice and into the
elevator. Choose the second floor (you can only access this one with that ID).

Here is a uh... machine you have to fight. It's pretty strong, so you might need
to heal after. It will stop to function when you beat it. You'll also see a
scene where the organisation talks. Go down, down, right and down talk to fight
the guy for a second level ID card. Each time you get a new one, the enemies
will be harder. Go back to the elevator and choose the fourth floor.

Alright, another machine that you have to fight. It's the same so if you could
beat the first one, you can beat the second one. This time, the army guy will
leave. The way down can only be opened if you have the code. Go right, down,
down the long way and talk to the guy wearing a white shirt. He'll tell you that
the code is 3373E. Go up two screens, left and use the code. (The elevator needs
the highest ID card) Here, talk to the guy standing. Go back out using the lower
door and a fight should ensue. If not, go back to the previous floors and talk
to everyone. This time, you'll need to beat the machine before killing the other
guy, but he doesn't do anything and gets scared when you destroy the machine.
He has a very high evade level, but since he just stands, there's nothing to be
afraid of. After the fight, you'll receive a third ID card.

Go to the first floor and watch a scene. Sukaramushu will er... be teleportated
elsewhere. Enter the door to the left, then down, follow the track and go to
the upper left corner of this place. Talk to the pink thing and a maid will
come in. Leave and go back to the elevator. Try to enter the south door and the
director will come in with a machine. This one is different from the others, as
you can see from the scene before the battle. It will flash when you've beaten
it enough. Just do a few more hits and it will break. Now you leave and meet
with your client. You give him some information and he tells you something
shocking; the building will explode in 30 minutes if you don't desactivate the
triggers.

Anyway, go into the farthest right elevator, pick the yellow flashing ID card by
the way, go to the second floor and pick the yellow thingy at the end. you have
15 minutes left. Go to the third floor, go into the room just below the one you
started in and pick the yellow thing as well. You have 7 minutes. Go to the
fourth floor using the special elevator, go up, into the room with the password,
down into the washroom, and pick the yellow thing. You have 3 minutes. You
leave and get into a fight. Beat it. The client will see a dream in which the
building explodes and everyone became a zombie. The machine you fought earlier
followed you through the door and you'll have another battle with it.

Note: There's also another of those yellow flashing spots on the fifth floor. I
don't know if it affects anything if you pick that one instead. I tried but I
always couldn't get every of them.

8.5: Act.5
------------

Here's a scene with Sukaramushu that escaped last time. Go to the park, left and
up. Talk to the big guy standing there. Remember him? He's the father of that
fat kid that beat you in Act.1. You tie him up. Now leave the park and go to the
new place. I have no idea on what this is, so I'll call it the working place
(if anyone knows the correct name please tell me). Luckily, there are no enemies
here. Go up all the way and talk to the guy standing beside the elevator. Leave
the place. Go to yet another new place. It's the train station. Here are enemies.
Pass through the swivels. Go right, down the first stairs you see, right and
follow the track until you reach a red haired guy. Beat him and he'll leave.

Fight back to the entrance, but don't pass through the swivels yet. From there,
head left, down the stairs, to the upper exit to the left, up twice, right, down
and left down the stairs. Go right to talk to that red-haired guy. Beat him and
you'll bring him with you to the girl. It's the next act already!

Here's another way to end this act. If you do not manage to beat him after 3 or
4 rounds, the red-haired guy will escape again for third time and you search for
him again. When you will find him again he is already killed by a black dressed
gang and Ginji gets mad. When you beat them you see a scene in Honky Tonk and
after conversations with the girl who hired you for the job, she leaves and
Ginji follows her and talks with her in the park.

That’s the alternative end of act 5!

------------
8.6: Act.6
------------

Hey, isn't that Akabane Kurodo from Act.2 ? Well Hevn announces you that he'll
be part of the group for the next mission! The white-haired client seems to know
a bit about the Get Backers... After he leaves, the usual scene with the
mysterious organization comes. The black dressed guy finally reveals his true
face and Sukaramushu will warp him elsewhere. You go there to meet him. Alright,
at the working place, talk to the lady. Beware, there are now enemies in this
area. She turns out to be an enemy and you have to fight her. Get an electric A
card. Prepare to get to the most annoying part of the game.

In this area, it's no more use to talk to anyone, as you will notice that they
won't tell you anything. With the card you got, go right, down the stairs, and
to the next room below. Walk around the path and through the bigger room. Go
into the second door you see, down the stairs five times (since you can't enter
those doors) (set # 1), up and left. At the intersection, choose the lower door
and talk to the almost only people who will tell you something... or fight you.
They will most likely change your stats, but don't worry, that's all they can do
and they have ridiculous amount of hp. Get the electric B card.

As they leave, follow them through the same door, walk until you enter a door
with an old man inside. With the electric B card, you can access the elevator.
You should currently be on the 7th floor. Go back to the intersection and pick
the upper door. Go down four times (set # 2), enter the door, and left twice to
yet another set of stairs (set # 3). Go down twice, into the door. When you are
fully prepared, go left for a scene (double boss battle). Here, Ban and Ginji
get hit by no appearent thing, but it's in fact the guy that was teleported.
Fight the first boss of the act. He has some deadly attacks, especially that
poisonous breath that make you lose 10% of your hp per turn. Most of them will
hit all the members. Be sure to switch between members and finish him off fast.
Get electric C card. Ban hits him and he bleeds...

Watch him being teleportated again by the second boss! Just wipe out his men, or
use group attacks. He will raise his men's stats until you beat them all. In
fact, he'll retreat when you do so. You don't get a tool after this fight.
Continue north three times, into the elevator and to the 14th floor. Enter the
first door you see, go straight, right, and down for some stairs (set # 4). Go
down three times, up twice, for other stairs (set # 5), so down four times, into
the door and right on the pathway. Go down for another set of stairs (set # 6).
Three times - door - right - up - and finally a scene... and a boss battle! You
know what kind of attack (single or group) they will do by looking at their
hands... short for single and long for group. Beat them and get the electric D
card.

Go into the door behind to a set of stairs (set # 7), down once, enter the door,
get the flashing light behind the big machine.

Go out, down three times, into the door, exit the pathway to some stairs (set # 8)
down twice, into the door, on the pathway, go right and enter the first door to
a flashing object. Pick it up, it's electric E card. With it, you can access the
elevator just above the room, but instead head to the other vertical path. Follow
and get to a scene (boss fights). Meet that coward again and beat him. A round
should be enough to kill him. After, you will be explained that the HOG you've
been searching is in fact the "hand of god" (sounds like a Go game...). This
time, you fight them both together. They have about the same attacks, just a bit
stronger. Beat the coward first, then go after the 3500+ hp guy. You'll see some
blood again...

Time for Sukaramushu to appear. He sees the death of those guys and... as
expected, it was all a dream. Ban's eye's power is incredible... anyway, he
takes off Sukaramushu's mask... and they realize that she was in fact Ashia.
She pushes Ban and starts a fight. She has a very strong attack that can get you
an EMPTY BAR of Tension. I don't know why, but she has a tendancy to go after
Ginji... When the screen goes blank, it's because you just beat one of her forms.
She has three and you have to beat them all. She can attack twice a turn, too.
After emptying her 3000+ hp, a hole with some smoke will appear... Now that's a
character killer... It has an attack that instantly puts to death one of your
character. It can also attack twice a turn. It has about the same amount of hp
than Ashia. After the fight, Ashia will vanish after saying her last words.

Congratulations! You've just finished the game! ... Or did you?

8.7: Act of...
---------------

After the white screen with a word on it, reset and see the bonus. Now, if
beating all those bosses was only a dream... where are the real people? Akabane
barely visited them, then he comes to Ban. Go to the tables and get the flashing
dot. It's Ginji's final special! It costs 8 levels of tension... (Use it a second
time and it stops) Go to the park, near the restaurant's trash can, there's
another flashing dot. Pick it up, it's Shido's final special. Now that you have
some new attacks, go get those bad guys at the working place. Talk to the lady
to fight her... After, it's the same as Act.6, so going through shouldn't be a
problem, except for the new enemies.

For the first boss battle, Ginji and Akabane will fall into a hole. The blue
light will replenish your hp. Go south, south and walk until you see a blue door.
A scene will occur as well as a boss battle. Get the electric C card. You'll
meet with the others. Enter the door facing the elevator, go west, south, and
west to the stairs. Exit and go east to more stairs. Exit, south, west, stairs,
exit, south, east and a boss battle. Beat him for an electric D card. Go east
for some stairs, exit, west, stairs, exit, go right and enter the door. Below is
the electric E card. Go north, the card will allow you to go into the elevator,
but don't use it. Instead, follow the path north and land on the multi-colored
platform. That guy will explain some more things about HOG and then fight you.
He has more than 8000 hp!

Watch the final ending after the long battle.

"Did you see a good dream?"

10: Codes
------------
These codes, for the vba, were hacked by me, for the simple sake of doing it.
They may mess the game entirely, so use them at your own risk. Don't ask for
more or how to hack them, I won't reply. It is suggested that you don't use
them at all, since you will have less fun playing the game. With that said, on
with the codes...
