When Sonic tried to rescue Cream from Eggman back on his home world, the
machine housing the seven Chaos Emeralds was destroyed, thus accidentally
activating Chaos Control - which warped him and everyone else to Chris's
world. Sonic, after a race with Sam Speed, fell into Chris's swimming pool,
and he (Chris) got him out. Since then, Sonic's been living with Chris.

An expert with machines, Tails met Sonic by chance in a forest. While Sonic
was away, Tails revamped his plane - the Tornado - to make it faster, and also
repainted it. When Sonic got back, Tails said how he couldn't resist, since he
loves machines; and they've been friends since that time.

Knuckles is the guardian of the Master Emerald, which rests on floating Angel
Island, and also Sonic's self-proclaimed rival. He's overtly serious, but also
easily fooled - a failing point which Eggman doesn't hesitate to exploit on
numerous occasions.

Amy is a hedgehog like Sonic, and is madly obsessed with him, something which
he is openly creeped out by. She has a hammer (the Piko Piko Hammer) that she
uses as her weapon, and while she's normally calm, she'll, in no exaggeration,
give anything and everything that touches Sonic some real Hell.

Back in Sonic's world, Eggman took the seven Chaos Emeralds, and was going
to use them to power some sort of device (it's not said exactly what the
machine was made to do). However, when the machine was destroyed, the Emeralds
were accidentally activated, and Chaos Control warped Eggman's base, Sonic,
and several other personas/places to Chris's world.
The tower from the center of Eggman's base was warped to an island in the
ocean, and he's trying to rebuild the rest of it. He's determined to find
the seven Chaos Emeralds again, and use their power to dominate the world.

* - One of them tries hitting Missile Wrist with a flamethrower, which causes
it to stop moving.
OFFICER #1: That thing's toast.
* - However, when the fire dies out, MW is still standing.

* - It fires a rocket straight up through the building. Outside, Eggman flies
higher up. Several police cars swerve up to the building.
EGGMAN: Hohohohoho! It appears we're attracting a crowd.
* - The rocket bursts through the roof, hooking onto the structure.
MISSILE WRIST: Proceeding to upper structural surface.
* - MW pulls itself up, knocking out each of the building's floors on the way.

EGGMAN: Let's get this show on the air.
* - Eggman presses a button to project his image in a hologram above the
street, as well as onto TVs throughout the city.
EGGMAN: Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Doctor Eggman, and I
have some exciting news for you - exciting for me, that is, and
catastrophic for you. I have decided to take over your world and make

* - Tails flies up the side of the building that MS is on.
EGGMAN: Attention Missile Wrist, take aim at that plane - blast it out of the
sky!

* - MW fires at the Tornado, but misses.
CHRIS: Those came pretty close!
TAILS: Two can play at that game. Hang on!
* - He maneuvers to MW, dodging its attacks, and fires a laser at it - however,
it's ineffective.
TAILS: It's no use! Its armor's too thick!
CHRIS: Hey Tails, look out!
* - One of MW's missiles is headed straight up from under the Tornado. Tails
tries to get out of the way, but it hits the Tornado's propeller.
TAILS: This is what I can an emergency!!

* - Mw launches a rocket, but rolls off it and onto another, sort of dancing
from each one. He sticks his tongue out at MW, then tauntingly hits his
butt.
EGGMAN: Wise-guy! I'll show you!
* - Sonic starts doing a koro boushka (type of Russian dance) on the rockets.
KNUCKLES: Sonic! Try the old slap on the wrist!
* - Sonic stops on one of the rockets.
SONIC: Yeah!
* - As MW retracts the rocket, it takes Sonic with it. He taunts MW. It tries
to hit Sonic, but he dodges and instead it cracks its own arm off. Sonic
jumps a bit further away.
SONIC: Bye!
EGGMAN: FIRE!!
* - MW launches a few missiles at Sonic. They all hit him.
EGGMAN: HAH-HA!!
* - Sonic Spin-Dashes down from the smoke and crashes through MW, causing it
to blow up. Knuckles shields Amy from the flying debris.
CHRIS: Alright, Sonic!
* - Eggman coughs, covered in smoke.
SONIC: You lose.
EGGMAN: This isn't over, blue boy. *flies away* You haven't heard the last of
Eggman! Soon I will rule this world, this universe, and the Chaos
Emeralds will be mine! Oh, hohohoho!!

* - The crane crashes into, and totals the truck.

* - It comes to a pile of dirt and throws the operator out. It then ceases

* - Beakon flies towards Sonic, and its eyes glow. Sonic leaps off the
building, only to be rammed by Beakon.

SONIC: Whoa!
* - Beakon continues hitting Sonic. Tails and Amy get nearby.
TAILS: Quick, Amy!
* - Amy holds up a Ring.
AMY: Look! Sonic, the Ring! I'll throw it to you!

* - Sonic tries to grab it, but misses it.

CHRIS: I can't believe it. I found a Chaos Emerald.
* - Eggman pat's Chris' head on the left. Chris looks over, and Eggman takes
the Emerald from the right side.
CHRIS: Hey, that's mine!
EGGMAN: Sorry, not anymore. Besides my dear boy, you'd hardly know what to
do with such a thing. *laughs*
* - Eggman hops into his machine.
CHRIS: But I found it first!
* - Chris jumps up and grabs Eggman's arm.
EGMAN: Bug off, kid.
CHRIS: But it's mine!
EGGMAN: Unhand me, you pipsqueak!
CHRIS: Give me that!
* - Eggman pushes Chris off, but he grabs the spike at the bottom of the

* - From their weight, the machine tips again.
EGGMAN: You grubby little beast! Let go of my moustache!
* - Eggman pushes Chris off - but he managed to take the Emerald first.
CHRIS: AHH!!
* - Eggman readjusts his moustache.
EGGMAN: That caterwauling brat certainly was a handful.
* - Eggman realizes that Chris took the Emerald.
