world. Sonic, after a race with Sam Speed, fell into Chris's swimming pool,
and he (Chris) got him out. Since then, Sonic's been living with Chris.

An expert with machines, Tails met Sonic by chance in a forest. While Sonic

repainted it. When Sonic got back, Tails said how he couldn't resist, since he
loves machines; and they've been friends since that time.

Knuckles is the guardian of the Master Emerald, which rests on floating Angel

easily fooled - a failing point which Eggman doesn't hesitate to exploit on
numerous occasions.

Amy is a hedgehog like Sonic, and is madly obsessed with him, something which
he is openly creeped out by. She has a hammer (the Piko Piko Hammer) that she

give anything and everything that touches Sonic some real Hell.

Back in Sonic's world, Eggman took the seven Chaos Emeralds, and was going
to use them to power some sort of device (it's not said exactly what the
machine was made to do). However, when the machine was destroyed, the Emeralds
were accidentally activated, and Chaos Control warped Eggman's base, Sonic,
and several other personas/places to Chris's world.
The tower from the center of Eggman's base was warped to an island in the
ocean, and he's trying to rebuild the rest of it. He's determined to find
the seven Chaos Emeralds again, and use their power to dominate the world.

him, he's (Sonic) been living with him (Chris).

* - The light of the full moon is reflected into a lake as insects chirp. Big
and Froggy, both asleep, are sitting by the lake. As a siren starts to
blare, Big wakes up and looks over at Eggman's base.
All of the tower's lights are on, as hordes of robots get into position.
Glimpses of Sonic running to the tower are interspersed with the scene of
the base. Once Sonic gets closer, the robots start firing; he dodges a
few smaller lasers, followed by a barrage of missiles. He jumps over some
of the robots to get closer to the tower.
A few larger machines activate, and move towards Sonic. He reaches a pit,
where the aforementioned robots fly up; Sonic runs to the left, and the
robots chase him.

* - Sonic runs through a tunnel, with the machines still following him. One
of the robots crashes through a wall. Sonic goes through another doorway
on the left. He runs over a circle with Eggman's face on it, which springs
out of the ground and throws him into the air.
SONIC: Whoa!
* - One of the machines jumps up and hit him.
SONIC: AHH!!
* - The Tornado, with Tails and Amy aboard it, comes into view.
TAILS: Sonic!!
* - Another of the robots shoots the Tornado, rupturing its side.
AMY: AH!
* - The Tornado catches fire.
AMY: Tails, the plane's on fire! What are we gonna do?
TAILS: We're gonna save Sonic.
* - Tails presses a switch, launching a missile from the Tornado, which heads
towards Sonic, who's still falling in the air. As the rocket nears him,
its tip splits apart, revealing a Ring. At the same time that Sonic falls
into the trees, the Ring reaches him.
Everything goes dark for a moment, but then a blue light shines through
the trees; in a Spin-Dash, Sonic flies towards the tower, ripping apart
dozens of robots, including the larger ones from before. One of the robots
throws him into the ground, but he launches back up, tearing through that
one as well. Finally, he crashes through one of the lights on the tower.
The camera shifts back to the Tornado, hitting the ground.
TAILS: Hang on, Amy!
* - The Tornado nears a large rock.
TAILS & AMY: AH!
AMY: WE'RE GONNA CRASH!!
TAILS: I KNOW!!
* - Knuckles punches the rock apart, letting the Tornado skid passed it before
coming to a halt. Tails looks up.
TAILS: Knuckles!
Knuckles: ...Hmm.
* - Knuckles turns to the tower.
AMY: What's the matter with him?
* - Numerous explosions go off all around the tower.
KNUCKLES: Overkill, just like always.

* - Sirens ring out as all of the security doors shut. In Eggman's room, Decoe
is looking at maps of the tower.
DECOE: Doctor Eggman, the facility is in one-hundred-percent lockdown.
EGGMAN: Why does that cursed Sonic always get in my way?
* - The camera shifts over to Cream and Cheese, who are locked in a capsule.
CREAM: He doesn't get in your way, Doctor Eggman; Sonic just tries to stop you
from doing all the bad things you like to do.
CHEESE: Chao, chao!
EGGMAN: Oh, is that so?
* - Eggman holds up the red Chaos Emerald.
EGGMAN: Well he's too late to stop me this time. Once I insert the last Chaos
Emerald, my energy amplifier will be invincible.
CREAM: But you can't do that.
CHEESE: Chao, chao, chao!
* - Rouge is sitting up on a ledge of the room, out of everyone's sight.
CREAM: That's right! Sonic won't let you get away with this!
EGGMAN: *laughs* You're wrong, Creamy-Dreamy. *laughs*
* - Sonic is flies towards the tower.
EGGMAN: He can't stop--
* - Sonic crashes through the wall of the tower.
EGGMAN: --Aah!
CREAM: Sonic!
EGGMAN: Sonic... Too late!
* - Eggman slams the Chaos Emerald into a slot, and closes the glass lid. He
frantically presses the buttons on the terminal, then holds up a switch.
EGGMAN: You'll never stop me now, Sonic. All I have to do, is to push this
little button. *laughs*
SONIC: Yeah, if you can push it before I grab it.
* - Eggman looks nervous. However, noticing a robot walk up behind Sonic--
EGGMAN: Why don't you give it a try?
* - The robot fires at Sonic, but he dodges by running along the wall.
EGGMAN: Don't let him get away!
* - Rouge looks down at what's happening, flinching as a laser barely misses
her.
EGGMAN: Stop him, no matter what.
* - Sonic jumps in front of Eggman. The robot aims at him - and subsequently,
Eggman as well.
EGGMAN: Aah! No! Hold your fire!
* - As the robot shoots, Sonic jumps away and Eggman ducks down. The terminal
behind Eggman - the one being charged by the Emeralds - gets hit. Eggman
turns around, then starts to press the switch.
EGGMAN: Aah! Here we go!
* - Before he presses it, he notices that it's wrapped in electricity. He then
turns to the robot.
EGGMAN: What have you done?!
* - The room lights up. The camera pans to Decoe & Bokkun, Rouge, and finally
Sonic & Cream/Cheese

* - Sonic is lying in the dark, on the ground. He opens his eyes and sits up.
SONIC: Man, I must have passed out or something... *looks around* Oh. Hmm.
*- A car comes into the darkness.
SONIC: Ah!
* - It almost hits him, but he moves out of the way. Another car comes, and
Sonic dodges again. This time, a truck stops right before running him over.
The darkness lifts, showing that Sonic is standing in the middle of an
intersection. He looks around at the dozens of cars and people lining the
streets.
SONIC: Where am I? What are they all staring at?
DRIVER 1: What is this? Halloween?
* - Two police officers walk over to Sonic.
SONIC: So they can talk...
OFFICER #1: What is this thing?
OFFICER #2: Looks like a blue hedgehog.
OFFICER #1: A blue hedgehog?
OFFICER #2: Well, whatever it is, we better get it out of here.
* - O#2 squats down.
OFFICER #2: Hey buddy, wanna ride with us down to the station?
OFFICER #1: Should I call for backup?
OFFICER #2: I have three kitty-cats at home, I think I can handle this little
fella'.
* - O#2 motions for Sonic to come, but he just crosses his arms.
OFFICER #1: See that? That thing's got an attitude - a bad one.
OFFICER #2: Yeah, well he won't get away from me.
* - O#2 jumps at Sonic, but he dodges out of the way.
OFFICER #2: Huh?
OFFICER #1: Why you little--
SERGEANT: Take it easy. I think we can handle this without getting rough.
OFFICER #1: Yeah, but--
SERGEANT: Duffy, get behind him.
DUFFY: Right, Serge'.
* - Duffy steps behind Sonic.
SERGEANT: Okay, now when I say the word, we're all gonna jump him at once.
Alright then, is everybody ready? Let's do it!
* - They all jump at Sonic, landing in a pile around him.
OFFICER #2: Okay Serge', I think I got his leg.
OFFICER #3: I got him around the neck, Sarge!
SERGEANT: Alright, let's pull him out at the count of three. One, two, three!
* - They each pull at each other. The camera shifts over to Sonic, sitting on
a car, looking rather weirded out. He shrugs. Then another office slams a
net down over him.
OFFICER #4: Don't worry Serge', I got him.
* - Sonic dashes, effectively snapping O#4 off the car. The other officers grab
a hold of #4 as he flies passed, and thus, are all dragged along as well.
Sonic jumps over another police car, sending the officers holding onto him
through the window.
The sergeant grabs a radio.
SERGEANT: Attention all units, attention all units, a blue hedgehog is headed
north on Central Street. Shut down all thoroughfares leading into and
out of Station Square, and then set up a roadblock just before the
onramp to 101.

* - The camera shifts to inside another police car.

Hey, if we catch it, maybe the captain will let us drive it.
OFFICER #5: I bet it has one of those cute hood ornaments that looks like a
hedgehog.
* - A thud sounds outside the car. O#5&6 both look over to see Sonic standing
on the front of the car. He looks over at the camera.
SONIC: I don't know how I got here, but I gotta find a way to get out.
* - He jumps off and dashes down the street.
OFFICER #6: Hey... did you just see... what I just saw?
OFFICER #5: I think I did, but I wish I didn't.

Extension, about a mile and a half from the entrance to 101.

WORKER #1: Bad news...
SAM: *laugh* Don't worry. I think we've got what it takes to round up our
furry little friend. Speed Team, get ready to roll.

* - A sign switches from "stand by" to "called out". Sam, and the rest of the
members, walk to a room where several racecars are.
SAM: What's the temperature of the road surface tonight?
CAR MAINTENANCE PERSON #1: It's about seventy degrees, and dry as a bone.
SAM: Light breeze from the west?
CAR MAINTENANCE PERSON #1: Almost nothing.
SAM: Road, pitted or smooth?
CAR MAINTENANCE PERSON #1: Nice and smooth.
* - Sam puts a cloth over his head to hold his hair back.
SAM: Then let's see... Give me the five groove, medium soft.
CAR MAINTENANCE PERSON #2: *rolls a wheel at some workers* Here you go.
* - They put the wheel on Sam's car. Sam puts on a helmet, and gets into the
car. Two other workers strap him in. He inserts a steering-wheel, and
looks at a monitor, displaying a graph of the car.
CAR WORKER PERSON #1: I've programmed gears five and six at freeway speed.
SAM: Great.
CAR WORKER PERSON #1: Oh, and I filled that secret fuel tank on your car just
like you asked me to.
SAM: Good work.
* - The top of the car lowers down.
SPEED TEAM MEMBER #1: Chief, they last spotted the subject at mile 79 on 101
North.
SAM: Roger. Alright team, let's move out.
* - All of the Speed Team leaves the room, and start going to where Sonic is.

* - The camera shifts down to Sonic, sitting atop a lamppost beside the street.
He's looking at the moon.
SONIC: The sky looks the same. So do the stars and the moon.
* - He has a flashback of the terminal breaking, and Chaos Control activating.
SONIC: ...I guess Chaos Control must have sent me here. I traveled through
space - did I travel through time, too? Am I the only one here? (Are
all the others... gone?)
* - He stands up.
SONIC: Well, guess I'll find out soon enough.
* - He jumps off the lamppost. Sirens blare as the Speed Team comes into view.
Sam steps out of his car.
SAM: Hi, there. You're a hard 'hog to keep up with.
* - Sonic starts to leave.
SAM: Hey, hold on.
* - He stops and looks back.
SAM: We don't get such fast company very often.
* - He takes off his helmet.
SAM: In fact, I'm glad you showed up; this place is way too peaceful. Over the
last twelve months, I've only made on arrest. Some joker got it into his
head that he was a hotshot driver - had his own Formula 1 car and
everything. I guess he thought he'd give me a run for my money. But it was
all over in a minute. It took me longer than that to suit up.
* - Sonic turns back around to face Sam.
SONIC: Hmm.
SAM: *chuckles* He never had a chance. Of course, it's our own fault. This
town's dull mainly because of us. You see, we're the high-speed pursuit
unit, the S-Team. And I'm the leader of the team; they call me the
"Highway Star". So even if you think you're the fastest thing around,
think again.
* - All of the S-Team's car's engines turn over, and they all chase Sonic.
SAM: (Run fast, hedgehog. I wanna be the one to catch you.)

* - He starts running faster.
S-TEAM #1: It's accelerating.
S-TEAM #2: Boost your rear-wing angle to 20 degrees.
S-TEAM #3: Roger.
* - They catch up to Sonic.
SONIC: Well, well, well - it's starting to look like the rush hour.
* - They box Sonic in.
SONIC: [sarcastically] Oh, no! How will I ever escape? Hahaha! *dashes*
S-TEAM #3: Where is he? Did I run him over?
* - Sonic knocks on S-Team #3's window.
S-TEAM #3: Huh?
* - Sonic stands on the roof, and looks through the glass (upside-down).
S-TEAM #3: Huh?! Hey, you! This is dangerous! It's irresponsible! What happens
if kids start trying this?
* - Sonic looks at the camera.
SONIC: Kids, don't use Formula 1 racecars to chase hedgehogs.
* - He jumps off the car and starts running.
S-TEAM #2: You're not gonna treat the S-Team like chumps. We'll teach you a
lesson. Boost all wings point-five degrees, and let's get this guy!
S-TEAM #4: Roger.
* - All of the 'wings' shift, and they start going faster.
S-TEAM #4: Full throttle!
* - The camera zooms in on #4.
S-TEAM #4: AH!!
* - Sonic is running backwards.
S-TEAM #4: What the...? How can...? It's playing with us!!
S-TEAM #1: Where'd this thing come from? Chief, you gotta do something!
SAM: Playtime is now officially over. Attention, all units; open the center
line.
* - They move out of the way of the center of the street.
SAM: I didn't think I'd have to do this, but I have no choice. I will not have
anybody faster than me, on MY highway.
* - He presses a switch to activate the hidden fuel tank, and blazes passed
Sonic. The engine starts glowing a bit, and the camera shows that it's
named "Super Nitro". The speedometer in the car reads 466, and continues
to rise.
SAM: *laughs* The only way he can beat me now, is if he goes supersonic.
* - Sonic shoots ahead of Sam, which is replayed three times.
SAM: A sonic boom!! He's moving faster than the speed of sound!
S-TEAM MEMBER: Chief, you're running out of road!
* - Two parachutes eject from the back of Sam's car, and he hits the brakes.
Sonic looks back at him, then notices that he's about to run off the road.
As he shoots off it, the wind behind him spins a few small turbines.

* - Sonic gets up above Station Square.
SONIC: Maybe this place isn't so bad.
* - He looks back.
SONIC: At least I know somebody I can have fun with.
* - Sonic starts to slow down over a pool in the Thorndyke's backyard. He sees
the water.
SONIC: Oh! A-A pool?! *nervous chuckle* Uh...oh.
* - He tries running in the air, which obviously doesn't work.
SONIC: See ya!
* - He drops down into the water, creating a huge wave.
The camera shifts inside the mansion nearby, where Chris wakes up at the
sound of Sonic's impact. He looks over a bit.
At the bottom of the pool, Sonic tries to jump out, but he falls back down.
He notices a ladder.
SONIC: [muffled] Huh?
* - He tries running to it, but gets stuck in place.
Chris turns on the light in his room and looks out the window. He then runs
to the lower floor of the mansion and outside to the pool.
Sonic is still trying to run, but stops after a while when he realizes he's
not doing any good. Chris jumps into the pool, reaches to Sonic, and grabs
his hand. He pulls him out of the water. Sonic coughs.
CHRIS: *pats Sonic's back* That was close. Are you okay?
SONIC: *grunt* Yeah, thanks a lot.
CHRIS: I didn't think you could talk.
SONIC: I can do a lot of things.
CHRIS: Wow, that's awesome! Th-That you can talk, I mean. My name's
Christopher - do you have a name?
SONIC: Yeah, I have a name. My name is Sonic the Hedgehog.

LINDSEY (phone): Oh, this picture has been a disaster, darling, a complete
disaster. We've had to stop shooting because there's been
torrential rain for days. So there's nothing I can do
besides sit and wait. I don't think I'll be back 'til late
next week at the earliest, but I've had time to go shopping,
and I'm having lots of wonderful presents sent. I hope you'll
like them.
* - The camera gets into Chris's room.
LINDSEY (phone): They're coming on daddy's jet, so you should have them
tonight.
CHRIS: Thanks, mom. Mom, there's something I had to- well, there's something
I did which I'm kinda not supposed to do.
LINDSEY (phone): Christopher, what happened? Are you alright?
CHRIS: Yeah, I'm totally fine. But remember how you said about how I'm not
allowed to swim at night, and how you wanted me to stay away from the
adult pool?
* - Tanaka comes in and puts some food on the table. He walks away.
LINDSEY (phone): Did you go swimming in the adult pool at night by yourself?!
CHRIS: Uh, well, not exactly. *looks at Sonic on the roof* You see, there was
this, cat, in the pool, and I got it out.
LINDSEY (phone): Oh, you have a big heart, just like I do. Next time, ring for
Mister Tanaka, and he'll take care of it, alright? Oh,
darling, I must run. Kiss mummy goodbye. *kisses sound* Ciao,
sweetheart. *hands up*
SONIC: *jumps down* Take a good look - I'm a hedgehog, not a cat.
CHRIS: Uh, I know. Please don't be mad. You see, my mom wouldn't understand.
SONIC: Why wouldn't she?
CHRIS: Well, first of all, she knows I wouldn't risk diving into a pool in the
middle of the night to save a little hedgehog.
SONIC: Rea-lly?
CHRIS: What else could I say to her? I couldn't tell her that I saved a blue,
talking hedgehog. That reminds me, where and when did you learn how to
talk, Sonic?
SONIC: *scratches forehead* Good question. Unfortunately, I don't have a very
good answer, 'cause I don't remember.
* - The telephone rings. Chris presses a button on it.
CHRIS: Hello?
NELSON (phone): Chris, is everything alright?
CHRIS: Hey dad, how are ya?
NELSON (phone): I'm fine, but your mother just called and told me you made an
emergency rescue last night. I guess our security system can't
protect against stray cats that decide they want to go for a
moonlight swim. Chris, I know you like animals, but what you
did was dangerous. Were you hurt? Did the cat scratch you when
you were trying to save it?
CHRIS: Mm-mm. No scratches at all. I'm fine dad, honest I am. It really wasn't
that big a deal. After I jumped in and got it out of the water, it was
really happy, I could tell.
NELSON (phone): Yeah, gotcha, yeah.
CHRIS: Besides, I could have had grandpa, or Ella, or Mister Tanaka to help me
if I needed to. Don't worry dad, they're taking good care of me.
NELSON (phone): Yeah, they better be. Listen Chris, I've got an important
meeting to run to. You call me anytime you need anything,
and no more late-night swims, promise?
CHRIS: Okay dad, I promise. See you soon. *hangs up*
* - Sonic looks surprised at how over-reactive Nelson was. He sighs, and Chris
chuckles nervously.
CHRIS: Oh, I almost forgot. You must be pretty hungry. I was thinking you might
like to have something to eat.
SONIC: Yeah, I guess I could go for something. What's on the menu?
CHRIS: I checked out hedgehogs on the Internet, and found the perfect thing.
* - He hands a bowl of food to Sonic, and he eats a part of it.
SONIC: Ugh! What is this?!
CHRIS: Cat food.
SONIC: Blah! No wonder. Tastes like there's cat in it!
CHRIS: The website I went to said most hedgehogs love cat food. I guess that
doesn't go for all hedgehogs. I can get you a bowl of crickets?
* - Sonic tosses the food away, and jumps to a tree.
CHRIS: No! Please don't run away!
SONIC: Sorry kid, but crickets don't do it for me.
CHRIS: I'll get whatever you want, but just don't go!

ANIMAL-EXPERT PERSON: As to the question of whether this is a U.M.A.,
Unidentified Mutant Animal, it is positively not. Even
the cheetah, which is widely believe to be the fastest
member in the animal kingdom, cannot outrun a speeding
Formula 1 racecar. Because of this, the inescapable
conclusion one must inevitably come to, is that this
so-called hedgehog is in reality a machine.
* - Chris, after hearing that, looks over at Sonic eating. Chuck enters the
room a few moments later.
CHUCK: There you are. Guess what?
* - He walks over to Chris, somehow not seeing Sonic right in front of him.
CHUCK: A big, blue hedgehog came out of nowhere and outran the S-Team
yesterday.
* - Chuck notices Sonic, then looks at the TV, then back at Sonic. He smashes
his head right up against Sonic's eye.
CHRIS: Aah!
* - Chris throws a pillow over Sonic's head, and laughs nervously.
SONIC: [muffled] Hey! Cut it out! I can't breath!
* - Sonic throws the pillow off.
SONIC: Ah!
CHUCK: Hmm. Blue... Just like that--
* - He gasps, then smiles and grabs Sonic.
CHUCK: It's him!
CHRIS: Easy, grandpa!
* - Chuck holds up a screwdriver.
CHRIS: Grandpa, what are you doing?!
* - He starts trying to unscrew Sonic's back, which causes Sonic to laugh (I
suppose that we are to assume that a screwdriver can actually be ticklish).
CHUCK: I have to see how this thing is put together.
* - Sonic jumps away.
CHUCK: Stand still!
CHRIS: Grandpa, wait. He's not a machine. He's Sonic the Hedgehog.
* - Chuck steps back a bit, and drops the screwdriver, quite a bit surprised.
SCARLET GARCIA: Now let's go live to this late-breaking story.
CREAM (TV): *whimpering* Oh, please!
CHEESE (TV): Chao, chao!
SONIC: Huh?
* - Sonic looks at the TV, where Cream and Cheese are no top of a billboard.
A crane rises up to it to get them off.
CREAM (TV): Please, leave us alone!
SONIC: It's Cream and Cheese.
CHRIS: It's who?
SONIC: I'm not the only one who got transported into this weird world after
all. I'll save those two!
* - Sonic runs outside. Chris follows.
CHRIS: Do you know where they are?
* - Sonic skids to a stop, and runs back to Chris. He shrugs.

* - The camera shows a flash of a military base in the desert.
CHRIS: Area 99? That's that top-secret military base.
SONIC: What?
CHRIS: It's where the National Defense Force keeps all their tanks, fighter
jets, and high-tech spy equipment.
SONIC: That sounds like Eggman's kind of place.
CHUCK: Your friends have been taken there by the army, and placed under
twenty-four hour guard. The authorities believe they could be aliens,
or perhaps members of a mutant species developed by an enemy power
designed to attack our population. I wonder if they might not be right,
Sonic, eh?
SONIC: Think what you want. I'm gone. Now that I know where my friends are,
I'm outta here.
* - Sonic starts walking away.
CHRIS: But if you show up at Area 99, they'll lock you up, too.
SONIC: They can't lock me up.
* - Sonic turns around to leave, but Chuck lowers the door.
SONIC: Whoa. Open that door!
CHRIS: Don't look at me, I didn't do it.
CHUCK: Hah, it was me.
SONIC: Huh?
CHUCK: You're gonna need some help, Sonic. I'll go with you.
CHRIS: Grandpa, are you serious?

CHUCK: An infrared scope. I'm certain that Area 99 is full of infrared motion
detectors that set off security alarms. If you wear that, you may be
able to avoid them.
* - Sonic puts it on, and jumps out of the car.

* - He runs ahead. Chuck looks surprised.
CHUCK: He certainly is a speedy little critter, isn't me? Yeah!!

* - A scanner moves up to her face.
CREAM: What kind of place is this? Cheese, we've got to get out of here.
* - The scanner moves down a bit, and a few employees look at its display.

* - Chris looks at Chuck.
CHRIS: But grandpa, after he gets inside, how will we find where his friends

* - Chuck takes the radio.
CHUCK: Give me that! Listen to me, Sonic; once you get inside, you won't have
much time, so think quickly and act quickly.
CHRIS: Grandpa, what if he doesn't?
SONIC: Thanks for the tip. I'm going in.
* - Sonic jumps over the main gate. The cameras scattered around the facility
grounds look about.

* - They sever the cameras from their stands, and cut into others
CREAM: I don't understand - what's going on?
SONIC: We can't stick around to find out.
* - He starts running.

* - He takes off the headset and presses up against the wall; Tails, in the
Tornado, is outside.
SONIC: Sounds like a plane. The Tornado!
* - Tails gets above the facility.
TAILS: This must be the place.
* - Sonic breaks through the wall and jumps towards the Tornado.
TAILS: Alright, Sonic!
* - Tails moves the Tornado in, and Sonic lands on its wing.
