BAR      : Sometimes you will see a bar on an upward slope. This bar will move
left and right as you hit left and right on the D-Pad. You need to
hit the ball past the bar, then use it to bounce the ball the rest
of the way up the slope. It's a bit like Pong, but with only one
          paddle.

BARRIER  : Most of the holes are surrounded in a red barrier. You can see this
because it flashes. You cannot lose the ball over the side if there
is a barrier there. However, you need to look out for the areas
          without one.

BUMPER   : These are the knobs that you see on a pinball machine. If your ball
touches this it will be deflected away at a terrific speed. Try to
avoid these because they can ruin your positional play.

MOVING   : At times you will see a brown area of floor that looks like dark
FLOOR      sand. These are moving floors and will generally dump your ball off
of the course. Turn off the movement by hitting a switch. The ball
doesn't move nearly as far when played over this surface, so make
sure you play your shots with plenty of power.

MOVING  : The moving platforms are generally found over water. Wait for the
PLATFORM  platform to line up with you and quickly take your shot to use it as
         a bridge.

PLATFORM: Normal platforms are to be found stood on their ends. Hit the ball
into them to knock them over and use them as a bridge.

SLOPE   : The most common obstacle. As a general rule, you should roll the
balls down the downward slopes slowly. This will help you keep
control. You will need to whack the ball pretty hard to make it up
         the upward inclines.

SWITCH  : Bounce into this to turn off the moving floors.

WALL    : The walls are red and because of the isometric camera, kind of look
like poles. Use the walls to deflect the ball into a favourable
         position.

WATER   : You know what this stuff is. It's blue and you will have your ball
repositioned if you drop it into it.

• I assume that you are familar with the basic idea behind golf, so I'll skip
the bit about putting the ball down the hole.

• Aside from the practice stage, there are three courses to make your way
through and there are six holes per course.

• You will start with five spare balls. This means that you can finish a
total of 5 over par and still progress to the next course. If you run out of
balls you will get the game over screen.

• For every shot that you are below par, you will earn an extra ball. For
every shot over you will lose one.

• When starting a hole, select the position on the grey square that you would
like to start from, then press 2.

• When taking your shot, can get the chance to move the camera first. Do this
using the cursor. Once you are happy with this, press 2 to move onto the
aim. You should aim by using the D-Pad. Once you are happy with this, you
can move onto power. Press 2 to start the power bar. Once it is at the
desired power, press 2 again to take your shot.

• It doesn't always pay to hit shots at full power. Try to plan your shots
 before you take them.

• When playing in a bonus stage, you will get an extra ball for every hole-
in-one that you make. You will also get another extra ball for every time
you make the flag flash. The flag flashes when the ball is in line to go in
the hole. This is called "bound".

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 2

This is pretty straight forward. Plonk the ball in the centre of the grey
square and aim directly towards the hole. Hit the ball at three-quarter power
and this should be enough to send the ball into the hole. A hole-in-one is
easily achievable here.

 H o l e  2
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 3

Place the ball and strike it at just under full power, up the slope to the
right. Hitting the ball at FULL power may result in it falling from the
platform. Try to keep the ball over to the right hand side of the course.
This should give you an easy follow-up shot for a birdie.

 H o l e  3
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 3

This particular hole is a little more difficult. However, it should be noted
that you can't lose your ball over the side here, as the red barriers
surround the entire play area.

Before you even take a shot you will notice that a bar on the right is moving
side to side as you aim side to side. You will need to take advantage of this
after your initial shot. To begin with, whack the ball as hard as you can to
make it travel up the slope.

As the ball comes back down, you should try to make it hit the bar. Ever
played Pong? It's a bit like that. If the ball hits the bar, it will bounce
back up the slope. You should aim to hit the brown square of sand to stop
the ball dead.

Should you miss the ball with the bar, there's every chance that it will
bounce back past the bar, giving you another chance to hit it up the slope.
If you are unlucky enough the make the ball stop at the bottom, you will have
to take a second shot.

Once you have hit the ball into the sand, a strong shot (say three-quarters)
will knock the ball into the hole. This will give you a birdie.

 H o l e  4
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 3

Another more advanced hole here. On the left hand side you should see a
platform that looks like it travels diagonally. In actual fact, it is just
stood up and is an illusion created by the isometric camera.

See the red wall on the left? Aim towards this with your ball. Before you
take the shot, you should be able to see a prediction of where the ball will
travel. You need to aim to deflect the ball off of the wall and into the
platform. If this is done correctly, the platform will fall down. Try not to
do this with too much power, a quarter of the bar is probably enough.

You will now have a semi-clear path to the hole. Depending on where the ball
eneded up, you will have to deflect off of the wall again. Before the hole,
you will see another platform moving left and right over the water. You need
to time your shot so that the ball can cross the platform.

As a general rule, I wait until the platform is as far left as possible,
before taking a shot at three-quarter power. This should see the ball travel
over the platform and into the hole. Playing like this will give you a shot
at a birdie.

 H o l e  5
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Whack the ball at full power down the slope and against the corner. This
should send the ball into the IN. Depending on how lucky you are with the
bounce, the ball could end up anywhere.

If you are at the bottom of the slope, whack it up and aim for the corner.
If you are the top, just roll it down the slope and against the corner to
hopefully sink it. If you are miraculously at the bottom of the second slope,
just roll the ball home.

Depending on where you end up after your second shot, you will be looking at
either a birdie or a par.

 H o l e  6
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
On the hole you will see a revolving floor. If the ball lands on this, it
will travel with the ball. This is to be avoided. You will notice that not
all of the play area is surrounded by the barrier, so you could easily lose
your ball.

Hit the switch on the left to stop the floor. If you hit the right hand
corner of the switch at full pace, you can deflect the ball over to the
right and achieve two things with one shot.

The moving floor seems to be the rough sand that it is difficult to make the
ball travel over. Use full power to take the ball to the hole. It MAY be
possible to achieve a birdie, here but I only ever managed a par.

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 3

Plonk the ball in the grey square. See the red pole on the left? This is
actually a diagonal wall. Aim the ball at it so that the ball will bounce
towards the hole. Try to make it so that the ball will go just to the right
of the hole. This way, when the ball passes over the moving floor, it will
be pulled in-line with the hole. Hit it at full power for a chance of a hole-
in-one.

 H o l e  2
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 3

Aim the ball to the right hand wall of the first stretch. Hit it full power
and the moving floor will take it back to the left. If you hit it hard enough,
it will land on the second moving floor and be taken to the hole. You will now
be faced with an easy tap-in for a birdie.

 H o l e  3
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 3

See the switch on the left? Aim the ball so that it hits the wall and deflects
into the switch. This will turn off the moving floor and will hopefully put
the ball near the slope on the right. If you are lucky, you may even make it
over the slope.

With your next shot you need to stay over to the right. This is because there
is a bumper on the left that will doubtless knock the ball back over the slope
if you hit it. Make sure you hit your shot at full power to make it over the
slopes. Once the ball has rested you should have a tap-in for either a birdie
or a par.

 H o l e  4
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 3

Moving floor covers most of the area of this hole. You need to hit the right
hand face (the one you can see) of the switch with a full powered shot. This
will leave the ball somewhere near where you started. You should now take two
full power shots to make the hole. Par is as much as you can hope for here.

 H o l e  5
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 5

The switch on the left will stop the floor on the other side of the hill. If
you hit it right on the corner at full power, you can get the ball to travel
over the slope. Take your next shot at just under full power, but beware not
to hit the nearby switch.

Your third shot at full power should take you past the next switch. Use two
more shots to reach the hole. Try to get on the grass as early as possible
when doing this. Hopefully you should nail a par.

 H o l e  6
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 5

At the beginning of this hole, you will see one of those movable bars just
like the one on the practice course. Whack the ball up the slope and use the
bar to bounce the ball the rest of the way up. If it's possible, you should
try not to hit the side of the IN that is facing you. This is because you will
be in danger of letting the ball roll onto the moving floor when it exits the
OUT.

On the next island you need to hit the ball into the switch. Do this and try
to get as far to the right as possible, but try to stay clear of the bumper.
Smack the ball the rest of the way to the right to clear the out of order
moving floor.

You should now be faced with another slope. You can't just hit the ball
straight up it, because there's a bumper waiting to bounce it back down.
Instead, try to hit the wall on the right (top) side so that it deflects off
and goes down the path to the left. If you use enough power this is easily
possible. You should be able to make par from here.

 B o n u s  S t a g e
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
On the bonus stage you will get the chance to earn some extra balls. This
means that you can go further over par without getting a game over. The stage
itself is a maze of those red walls with the hole being on the other side of
the maze. You have one shot the put the ball in the hole.

Put the ball down and you should aim for the vertical wall just to the left.
Hit this wall and you can deflect the ball onto the wall in the centre of the
screen. From here the ball will hit another wall on the left hand side before
moving towards the hole. Practice with your range and you will find this shot
is puttable.

For every time you get the ball in the hole, you will get an extra ball. You
will also get another extra ball for every time you make the flag flash. The
flag flashes when the ball is in line to go in the hole. This is called
"bound".

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 3

With your first shot aim just slightly left of centre at full power. The ball
will bounce off of the barrier and with some luck, into the IN. If you miss
make sure you follow up by putting it through the left hand side of the IN
(use the wall if you have to). Aim it right and you could get the ball
straight in the hole. If not, just follow your shot up for a birdie/par.

 H o l e  2
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 3

Roll the ball to the left of the IN with minimum power. This should make the
ball stop somewhere out to the left. Try to place it between the two areas of
water with your next shot. Now, try to angle the next shot so that it will
bounce off the the barriers and into the hole. If you manage this you will get
a par. If not, you will have to settle for a bogey.

 H o l e  3
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 4

Roll the ball down the hill softly. Though it may roll into the bumper,
there's a good chance the ball will land favourably. As long as you have
position, you can deflect the ball off of the right hand wall and let it
bounce down the next path at the bottom of the slope.

You should aim to get it through the second IN because the first is a decoy.
Try to hit the IN with as much speed as possible, so the ball carries to the
right when it comes OUT.

If you are not close to the bottom of the slope here, you will have to take an
extra shot and roll the ball up to it. Once at the bottom, try to deflect the
ball off of the right hand wall at full power. This should take the ball up
the slope and go towards the hole. If it goes in (good luck) you will scrape
a par. Otherwise you are looking at a single or double bogey.

 H o l e  4
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 5

Place the ball down as far to the left as possible. From here you can get the
ball down the path to the right with a full power shot. This will cause the
ball to zig-zag, allowing it to move further down the path and hopefully into
the IN.

As you come out of the OUT, you will still be travelling at speed. This means
that you could end up any where. With a bit of luck you will make it up the
first upward slope. Don't worry if you don't though. It will take a three-
quarter powered shot to get up the first two slopes and stop on the flat
areas.

To get up the next slope, power the bar up to the "4" where it says Hole 4.
You should now be on the flat section. Line your shot up with the hole and
avoid the bumpers at all costs. Hit this just under full power. Nailing this
will give you a birdie.

 H o l e  5
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 5

Though this looks impossibly hard, it is in fact quite easy. See the right
hand path? You need to deflect the ball off of the side of it at an angle that
will take it down the path to the hole. Line up your shot and hit it at full
power. With a bit of luck the ball will go into the area around the hole and
after a bit of buffeting from the bumpers, come to rest.

Taking this shot will give you a chance at a hole-in-one on a par 5! However,
you may have to settle for an albatross or even an eagle. If you miss with
your initial shot, you will obviously have to make a recovery and this will
affect your score.

 H o l e  6
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 5

Roll the ball down the right hand slope slowly. Once the ball comes to rest
you can line up your second shot. You need to hit the IN on the left hand side
to avoid the water next to the OUT. It's a good idea to bounce off of the wall
to achieve this. Once you are out of the OUT, send the ball down the slope and
into the hole for a birdie.

 B o n u s  S t a g e
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Another stage with lots of walls. The way to the hole is simple once you know
it. Place the ball in the centre of the top left hand side of the diamond.
Like this:

    /\
   *  \
  /    \
  \    /
   \  /
    \/

You should now aim at the small wall that is just left of centre and that is
three away from you (the furthest one of the three). Hit the shot at three
quarter power and if you line is right, the ball will bounce into the hole.

PAR: 3

The first hole provides a chance for a hole-in-one. As the moving platform
is moving to the left, hit the plaform in front of you with a full power shot.
The ball will bounce back, then roll over the moving platform if you timed it
right. If all goes to plan, the ball will roll into the hole and you will gain
an eagle.

 H o l e  2
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 3

Roll the ball forward with a shot at half power. This should line you up with
the hole. Wait for the platform to move in front of you, before nailing your
shot for a birdie.

 H o l e  3
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 4

Roll the ball forward at three-quarter power to knock the platform down. Look
at the platform next to the OUT. You need to take your shot so that the ball
will pass over the platform when it comes out of the OUT. Try not to over
power this, three quarters should be fine.

Most probably you will have deflect off of the barrier to get down the next
path. Take the shot at full power to get close to the hole. Knock the ball in
for a par.

 H o l e  4
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 4

Knock the ball down the hill at half power. After the platform falls down,
you should land on the grass. Take a shot that's just over half power to the
right. This will put the ball in front of the moving platform. Line up your
shot and smack the ball over the platform towards the hole. Do not over power
this because there is no barrier around the hole at the end. Knock the final
shot in for a par.

 H o l e  5
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
PAR: 5

Roll the ball up to the moving platform with a just over half powered shot.
Knock the ball over the platform with another half powered shot. Now, you
should line your shot up with the hole. Once you have the shot, whack it at
full power. Hopefully it will slide down the slope to the hole, or at least
stop on the flat. Roll the ball in for a birdie.

PAR: 5

Take a very light shot and the ball will roll down the slope. With the second
shot, move up to the moving platform. With the third shot you need to make it
across the platform and up the slope. It's a good idea to aim for the angled
corner at the top of the slope, that way the ball won't roll back down. You
will need a full power shot to perform this.

Smack the ball up the slope and use the bar to aim it at the hole. If you can
get it in with this shot, you will get a birdie.
