Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon S [美少女戦士セーラームーンＳ] is an Action game
made by Bandai and released on January 27th, 1995 for the cost of 4,800 Yen
[$51.00 USD] for the SEGA Game Gear. The only game in the Sailor Moon series
to be released on this handheld system. Based upon the manga and anime by the
same name by Naoko Takeuchi [武内直子], Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon S plays
somewhat similar to Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon and Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon
R games for the Super FamiCom. This game is pretty shallow in terms of action
and there are only four types of enemies for you to fight through 5 stages.
However to make up for its shortcomings, this game sports very colorful
graphics, features voice acting by Kotono Mitsuishi [三石琴乃] who voices
Sailor Moon, and decent music. Also in my walkthrough, I will refer to the
characters and locations by their Japanese names.

The back cover of the box states, "Exclaiming 'Are you energetic, everyone? I
am Usagi Tsukino!', but this is no time to be happy-go-lucky in this
situation. Today, I'm going to 'punish' the Death Busters. I'll finish off
my rivals, the rambunctious Witches 5, and thwart their evil schemes! And I
will need your strength. Use your skills to challenge yourself in this fuzzy
action beautiful girl battle!!" [『みんな元気してた？あたし月野うさぎでーす』
なんて、のんきなこと言ってる場合じゃないの。今日はあのデス・バスターズを
こっちから“おしおき”しに行くの。ウィッチ―ズ５をはじめとする敵たちを
ドッタバッタとやっつけて、悪の野望をくいとめなくっちゃ。さぁ、あなたの力を
あたしにかして！ファジーアクションで冴えわたる美少女バトルに挑戦よ！！]

Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon S was never released outside of Japan. And as of
July 2009, no known English patch was released for this game. Therefore
everything written in this guide are from my own translations. I am not
fluent in Japanese and what's provided are translated to the best of my
knowledge, any corrections on my translations are most welcomed! I have also
included the Japanese text, so please encode this document in "Japanese
(Shift-JIS)" to be able to view it.

There are unmarked spoilers in this document. I written this in a way to
allow the player to experience the most fulfillment out of this game without
skipping any cutscenes or events. My walkthrough will not tell you when to
save your progress, therefore I recommend to save whenever you enter a new
room. I hope you enjoy playing this game as much as I did!

The heroine will start off with 2 Players [プレイヤー] as shown on the bottom
left corner of the stage intro screen as "(Heroine)X2". Unfortunately, there
are no extra Players [プレイヤー] for them to collect. Once you used up a
Player [プレイヤー], you will lose all of your Moon Rods [ムーンロッド] and
your SCORE will be reset to 000000 points. But there are unlimited continues
in case you happen to die and used up the rest of your Players [プレイヤー].
At the GAMEOVER screen, you can choose to "CONTINUE" or "END" to give up.

| LIFE GAUGE [ライフゲージ] |

The Life Gauge [ライフゲージ] is the health bar for the heroine, shown on the
top left corner of the screen in the shape of a heart. Both heroines start
with three hearts of health and it can go up to a maximum of four hearts of
health. If they collect a Heart [[ハート]], it will recover one heart of
health. And if they collect a Big Heart [大きなハート], it will completely
restore their hearts of health. Since the Daimones [ダイモーン] randomly drop
health, my walkthrough will not tell you who carries them.

Also in certain Bonus Games [ボーナスゲーム], you will be awarded an extra
heart of health every time your SCORE [スコア] becomes a multiple of 1000.
For example: If your SCORE [スコア] was at 3000 points before. And after
beating the Bonus Game [ボーナスゲーム], your SCORE [スコア] is now at 5000
points. You will be rewarded with two hearts of health for the 2000 points
difference.

Below the Life Gauge [ライフゲージ] is the Color Meter [カラーメーター],
symbolized by a bar filled with a yellow color. You can charge up the Color
Meter [カラーメーター] and, depending on the color presented inside, will
determine the special move [必殺技] the heroine will use. You can charge it
by pressing and holding the 1 button. Then release it depending on the
special move [必殺技] you want to use.

The Spiral Heart Moon Rod [スパイラル・ハートムーン・ロッド], or mostly known
as Moon Rod [ムーンロッド], are symbolized as a magical girl wand. The number
next to them represents how many special moves [必殺技] you can perform when
the Color Meter [カラーメーター] is flashing green. You can use your Moon Rod
[ムーンロッド] by pressing and holding down the 1 button, and wait for the
Color Meter [カラーメーター] to be filled up. When it is flashing green, or
noted by the heroine spinning in a circle, release the 1 button and the
heroine will use up a Moon Rod [ムーンロッド]. The maximum amount of Moon
Rods [ムーンロッド] you can carry are 8 rods. It is best to conserve these
rods for the bosses.

Also in certain Bonus Games [ボーナスゲーム], you will be awarded an extra
Moon Rod [ムーンロッド] every time your SCORE [スコア] becomes a multiple of
1000. For example: If your SCORE [スコア] was at 3000 points before. And
after beating the Bonus Game [ボーナスゲーム], your SCORE [スコア] is now at
5000 points. You will be rewarded with two Moon Rods [ムーンロッド] for the
2000 points difference.

There is a Rose [バラの花] placed in certain stages. Upon touching it, the
heroine will receive temporary invincibility.

There are three Talismans [タリスマン] the heroine will be rewarded with for
completing a stage. Sailor Uranus' [セーラーウラヌス] sword [剣], the Space
Sword [スペース・ソード], is rewarded in the first stage. Sailor Neptune's
[セーラーネプチューン] mirror [鏡], the Deep Aqua Mirror [ディープ・アクア・
ミラー], is rewarded in the second stage. And Sailor Pluto's [セーラー
プルート] magatama [曲玉], the Garnet Orb [ガーネット・オーブ], is rewarded in
the third stage.

Once you collect all three of these in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], Sailor
Moon [セーラームーン] will transform into Super Sailor Moon [スーパーセーラー
ムーン].

When you start up the game, it will show a rainbow-colored silhouette of Usagi
Tsukino's [月野うさぎ] head floating to the left side with "Moonlight
Densetsu" [ムーンライト伝説] playing in the background. When the silhouette
stops, the title "PRETTY SOLDIER SAILOR MOON S" [美少女戦士セーラームーンＳ]
will appear.

After you have let the whole theme song play through, it will then display a
short demonstration of the game. There are three total, one of Sailor Moon
[セーラームーン] in STAGE 1-1 [ステージ１‐１], Sailor Chibi Moon [セーラー
ちびムーン] in STAGE 1-1 [ステージ１‐１], and Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] in
STAGE 4-1 [ステージ４‐１].

At the title screen, it will tell you to "PUSH START BUTTON". Go ahead and
push the Start button to go to the main menu.

Below the options are Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] who is saying, "CHOOSE WITH
THE CURSOR." [「カーソルでえらんでね」] In order to start playing the game,
you have to first select a mode:

In "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード]: You play as Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] who
can later transform into Super Sailor Moon [スーパーセーラームーン], the
difficulty mode is normal, and you get to watch the True Ending.

In "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード]: You play as Sailor Chibi Moon
[セーラーちびムーン], the difficulty mode is easy, and you get to watch the
Good Ending. I recommend finishing "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード] first
before attempting "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード].

If you wish to play a variety of minigames, select "MINIGAME" [ミニゲーム].
You can also get your fortune read at "FORTUNE-TELLING" [占い]. And if you
want to resume a stage, select "PASSWORD" [パスワード].

Once you have selected "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], you will see Usagi
Tsukino's [月野うさぎ] hand touching the Cosmic Heart Compact [コスミク・
ハート・コンパクト] and she will shout, "Moon Cosmic Power! Make-Up!"
[「ムーン・コズミック・パワー・メイク・アップ！」] After her transformation,
becomes Sailor Moon [セーラームーン]. Doing her trademark pose, she exclaims,
"On behalf of the Moon, I will punish you!" [「月に代わっておしおきよ！」]

If you have selected "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード], you will see the Pink
Sugar Compact [ピンク・シュガー・コンパクト]. Then it pans upward to where
Chibi Usa [ちびうさ] has already transformed into Sailor Chibi Moon [セーラー
ちびムーン] as she points up.

Defeat the Death Busters that dwell in the park!

The game starts off with the heroine posing, they both start off with 2
Players [プレイヤー], their Life Gauge [ライフゲージ] at three hearts of
health, and have 0 Moon Rod [ムーンロッド].

Start walking right and at the largest bush in the background you will meet up
with the first Daimon [ダイモーン], Osoji [オウソージ], a woman in blue with a
vacuum motif. You can take her down in three hits in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎ
モード] or in one hit in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード]. Continue right
toward where you have to climb up a ledge and you will see some circus tents
and flags in the background. [Is the Dead Moon Circus in town?]

When you have reach some rails, make sure to stop because up ahead you will
get ambushed by a blue Taiyan [タイヤーン], a tire-like Daimon [ダイモーン].
Proceed ahead slowly and stop at the third opening of the rails, Taiyan
[タイヤーン] will bounce toward you which you can easily punch her from where
you are standing. Continue forth and there is a larger ledge you have to jump
up. At the end of this ledge, there are two areas you can explore, you can
either proceed ahead or climb up the platforms. There is an item we want on
the platforms, so go ahead and climb up the first platform. Then turn left
and jump onto the next platform and walk forward to where we just fought
Taiyan [タイヤーン]. You should see a Moon Rod [ムーンロッド], go ahead and
collect it. The very top of the platforms have nothing of value.

Then you have two choices on how to continue. You can either jump down and
proceed forward on the ground. Then near the large pipe is another Daimon
[ダイモーン], Nekonneru [ネコンネル], a purple cat girl, will be pacing
around. You can take her down in three hits in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード]
or take her down in one hit in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード]. If you
want to conserve your Life Gauge [ライフゲージ], you can avoid Nekonneru
[ネコンネル] by proceeding right at the platforms and you will be walking
above her to where you will pass her completely.

Up ahead are two lifts and there are two ropes leading across the tent, one on
the top and one on the bottom. There are two ways to proceed through here.
You can use the lift and climb up the top rope, you will then have to avoid
two falling planks, but you don't have to do much to get out of their way. We
want to climb the bottom rope and get ourselves a Big Heart [大きなハート]
that will fully recover our Life Gauge [ライフゲージ]. When you step forward,
you should see there is a pit with spikes on the bottom. The heroine cannot
jump across this gap and if she falls into the spikes, she will die. So jump
up and she'll grip onto the ropes, carry yourself over across the first
platform and place yourself on the second platform. You should see a Big
Heart [大きなハート] up ahead, but get prepared for the purple Taiyan
[タイヤーン] here, just hit it once for it to die then collect your reward.

Jump up onto the ropes again and carry yourself to the very end. Be careful
if you're going to climb the highest platform because you might get yourself
hit by a falling plank from the tent. Proceed forward and climb up the ledges
to a location with brick walls in the background. When you step down from the
ledges, make sure to stop before the pipe on the ground because there will be
another falling plank which will try to make you fall into the gap ahead.
Then at the gap, there are pipes on both ends, a purple Taiyan [タイヤーン]
will pop out. If she does not pop out, stand on the left edge of the gap and
jump. Once she comes out, hit her once and she will be out of your way. Jump
across the gap and at the pipe ahead, there will be another falling plank
around the middle part of the pipe. If it does not already fall, stand on top
of the pipe and jump on the left edge to force it to fall down. Then you can
safely proceed forward to the end of this stage.

The Space Sword [スペース・ソード] will materialize and collect it to complete
STAGE 1-1 [ステージ１‐１]. The password is "2232" in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎ
モード], and "4506" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

| STAGE 1-2 [ステージ１‐２] |
o------------------------------------------------------------------o

Immediately upon entering this stage, a blue Taiyan [タイヤーン] will bounce
toward you, time your attack and hit her. Go forward and you should see a
Nekonneru [ネコンネル] on top of a platform with a Rose [バラの花] hovering
above. Defeat the Nekonneru [ネコンネル] first before touching the it. The
Rose [バラの花] give the heroine temporary invincibility, which she will need
for the area up ahead. Now you can go through the easy way and climb across
the ropes, since you don't have to worry about the two falling planks ahead
and at the end of the rope, you will past an Osoji [オウソージ]. Or you can
go the hard way by moving forward, jump onto a moving platform, and making it
to the next platform where there is an Osoji [オウソージ] pacing around. I
don't suggest this route because you could accidentally mistime your jump on
the moving platform and fall down into the gap. At the end of the ropes, be
careful because a blue Taiyan [タイヤーン] will pop out. If you're lucky, you
can avoid her completely if you use the moving lift in time.

Climb up to the very top where there is a railing and you have two ways to
proceed. The easy route is by jumping up the pipes and walking past the
red-and-yellow pillar to where you can use the lift to take you to the top of
the tent where you have to jump across these chained platforms and avoid two
falling planks to where you will be rewarded with a Big Heart [大きなハート].

Or you can go through the hard route, but you will find another Moon Rod
[ムーンロッド]. At the railings, fall down and you can go through the large
pipe. [Inside the large pipe is a Heart [[ハート]] found only in "CHIBI USA
MODE" (ちびうさモード).] At the other end, there will be a lift. Ignore the
lift and a blue Taiyan [タイヤーン] will pop out around the first gap, so make
sure you hit her before continuing. Then time your jumps over the gaps and be
careful when you jump onto the moving platform. It is easier to jump onto the
moving platform when it is going toward you rather than away from you. After
the moving platform, you will find a Moon Rod [ムーンロッド] on the ground,
pick it up. Continue forward while jumping a gap and onto another moving
platform. If you have lost any hearts of health here, I suggest you backtrack
now and grab the Big Heart [大きなハート] at the top of this tent. When you
are finished, proceed to end of this stage.

The Deep Aqua Mirror [ディープ・アクア・ミラー] will materialize and collect
it to complete STAGE 1-2 [ステージ１‐２]. The password is "2643" in "USAGI
MODE" [うさぎモード], and "8080" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

A blue Taiyan [タイヤーン] will bounce toward you once you step near the first
patch of grass. Defeat her and then continue forth toward a platform where a
Nekonneru [ネコンネル] is pacing around. Defeat her too, and climb up the
blocks which will take you to a ledge with the Garnet Orb [ガーネット・オーブ]
hovering above. Collect it to complete the Talismans [タリスマン]. Then fall
off the ledge on the left side because if you fall from the right, there is a
chance you might fall into a gap. Go forward, then time your jump on the
moving platform here. Walk forward toward the lone circus tent in the
background to end this stage.

If you are playing "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], if you haven't collected all
of the Talismans [タリスマン], you will simply end this stage and proceed onto
the boss battle. However, if you have collected all of the three Talismans
[タリスマン], it will combine together to create the Holy Grail [聖杯] and
Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] will transform into Super Sailor Moon [スーパー
セーラームーン]. She will exclaim, "On behalf of the Moon, I will punish
you!" [「月に代わっておしおきよ！」] Super Sailor Moon [スーパーセーラー
ムーン] is a stronger version of Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] with her own
special move [必殺技] and she is only available for boss battles. Then she
will revert back to Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] for STAGE 2 [ステージ２]. In
"CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード], you simply proceed onto the boss battle.

Now STAGE 1-3 [ステージ１‐３] is complete. The password is "2355" in "USAGI
MODE" [うさぎモード], and "0080" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

| STAGE 1 BOSS: EUDIAL [ステージ１ボス：ユージアル] |
o------------------------------------------------------------------o

Step forward onto the patch of grass to initiate the boss battle. You will
have to eliminate three Daimones [ダイモーン] before Eudial [ユージアル], the
first member of the Witches 5 [ウィッチーズ５], shows up. The first Daimon
[ダイモーン] is Osoji [オウソージ], then comes Nekonneru [ネコンネル], and Dai
Heart [ダイハート], a new Daimon [ダイモーン] who is a dressed in gray and
yellow. The easiest way to eliminate the Daimones [ダイモーン] is to stand
near the center of the area and just keep smacking them as they materialize.
Then finally Eudial [ユージアル] shows up once Dai Heart [ダイハート] is
defeated.

Eudial [ユージアル] has three set of moves: Fire Buster [ファイヤー・
ブスター], punching, and teleporting. Her attack patterns are she will walk
toward you and punch you. Then she will teleport opposite of you, she will
jump up into the air, throw down her Fire Buster [ファイヤー・ブスター], and
repeat. Eudial [ユージアル] is invincible when she is teleporting or in the
air, she only becomes vulnerable once she walks on the ground. Time your
attacks or you can use up two of your Moon Rod [ムーンロッド] or you can
conserve your them for the later stages. Eudial [ユージアル] will be defeated
after four hits.

Defeating Eudial [ユージアル] ends STAGE 1 [ステージ１]. The password is
"3633" in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], and "6502" in "CHIBI USA MODE"
[ちびうさモード].

bonus game [ボーナスゲーム] has the title, "SAILOR TEAM ROULETTE" [セーラー
チームのルーレット].

In "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], Sailor Neptune [セーラーネプチューン]

The difference between "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード] and "CHIBI USA MODE"
[ちびうさモード] are the timing. In "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード], the
timer goes more slower than in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード]. Aside from that,
the order of the Sailor Soldiers you have to stop on are the same as well as
the SCORE [スコア] you earn at the end.

There are eight characters you have to stop on. You are given 18 seconds to
stop on all eight characters in both modes. When you have matched everyone up
or when time is up, your SCORE [スコア] will be shown. You are given 1000
points times how many times you have successfully stopped on a Sailor Soldier
[セーラー戦士]. The maximum SCORE [スコア] you can earn in this minigame are
8000 points in both "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード] and "CHIBI USA MODE"
[ちびうさモード].

You will also be rewarded with a Moon Rod [ムーンロッド] for every time your
SCORE [スコア] becomes a multiple of 1000. For example: If your SCORE was
1000 and you got two matches for a SCORE [スコア] of 3000. You will earn two
Moon Rods [ムーンロッド] for the 2000 SCORE [スコア] difference.

Keep walking forward and defeat the first Daimon [ダイモーン] of this stage,
Osoji [オウソージ], ahead. Continue forth and stop when you reach the opened
door in the background. If you jump at the end of the door, you will see a
Fire Buster II [ファイヤー・ブスター?] hovering above, they look like red
bubbles and they are the falling object of this stage. They are a lot of them
in STAGE 2 and are quite annoying. Make sure to not walk past the first sign
posted on the bulletin in the background or you may get hit by the Fire Buster
II [ファイヤー・ブスター?].

Up ahead you will get ambushed by a blue Taiyan [タイヤーン], defeat her and
stop at the end of the wall. A Fire Buster II [ファイヤー・ブスター?] will
fall down between the third and fourth potted plants in the foreground. Up
ahead is a Dai Heart [ダイハート] near a Rose [バラの花] hovering above, touch
the Rose [バラの花] and defeat Dai Heart [ダイハート].

While you're still invincible, go forward and there are a flight of stairs.
Climb up the stairs and a Fire Buster II [ファイヤー・ブスター?] will fall
down at the second step, and a black Taiyan [タイヤーン] will pop out near the
third step. Once those two are eliminated, climb down the stairs. Now go
straight and walk past the stairs, and you will meet up with a hidden Dai
Heart [ダイハート]. Defeat her and continue forth. Past the door, and at the
end of this area you see a Big Heart [大きなハート] and a Moon Rod [ムーン
ロッド] waiting for you. Grab them and make your way back to the stairs.

Now climb back up the stairs, then stop on the seventh step or before the
third and fourth potted plants in the background. Another Fire Buster II
[ファイヤー・ブスター?] may fall down, then you can safely climb up the rest
of the stairs where you will face an Osoji [オウソージ]. Defeat her and keep
walking forward. Stop before you reach the opened door because yet another
Fire Buster II [ファイヤー・ブスター?] will fall down. [See, I told you they
were annoying!] And there is another Osoji [オウソージ] here just waiting for
a beat down. Now you can safely proceed forward to the end of this stage.

The Space Sword [スペース・ソード] will materialize and collect it to complete
STAGE 2-1 [ステージ２‐１]. The password is "3942" in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎ
モード], and "6800" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

| STAGE 2-2 [ステージ２‐２] |

Keep walking forward until you have reach the edge of the ledge near a lift,
here is where you can start crouching. Press and hold the Down directional
pad, and your heroine will then kneel over to see what is below them. You
should see there is a Dai Heart [ダイハート] pacing around here. Jump down
and defeat her, then walk forward to another ledge.

There are two ways of getting around here, you can either take the leap of
faith to the floor below where there is an Osoji [オウソージ] waiting for you.
Or you can climb across the ropes in front of you to pick up a Moon Rod
[ムーンロッド] which I highly suggest to do because you cannot get back to the
ropes once you've decided to jump down first. Climb across the ropes and pick
up the Moon Rod [ムーンロッド], while avoiding the two Fire Buster II
[ファイヤー・ブスター?] near the first and fifth lights. Then you can safely
fall down and continue forth. But if you want to be sadistic, you can always
climb down the stairs to defeat the Osoji [オウソージ] and come back to the
top of the stairs.

Continue forward and there is an Osoji [オウソージ] pacing around. Defeat her
and then keep walking forward to fight another Osoji [オウソージ]. Now when
you see a picture frame in the background, stop there because a Fire Buster
II [ファイヤー・ブスター?] will fall from here. Now you can continue ahead
and climb up the stairs to the end of this stage.

The Deep Aqua Mirror [ディープ・アクア・ミラー] will materialize and collect
it to complete STAGE 2-2 [ステージ２‐２]. The password is "6963" in "USAGI
MODE" [うさぎモード], and "8086" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

| STAGE 2-3 [ステージ２‐３] |

Walk forward and stop near the potted plants in the foreground. A Fire Buster
II [ファイヤー・ブスター?] will drop at the first potted plant. Now you can
continue and defeat the Osoji [オウソージ] pacing around. Now jump up the
blocks and there is ropes above you. Grab it and climb across to the left,
like you're going back to the entrance, to find the Garnet Orb [ガーネット・
オーブ]. Collect it to complete the Talismans [タリスマン]. Now you can keep
walking forward and stop at the first bench, a Fire Buster II [ファイヤー・
ブスター?] will fall down at the end of the bench. Defeat the Dai Heart
[ダイハート] up ahead and continue forth to end this stage.

If you are playing "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], the three Talismans
[タリスマン] will gather and Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] will transform into
Super Sailor Moon [スーパーセーラームーン]. In "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさ
モード], you simply proceed onto the boss battle.

Now STAGE 2-3 [ステージ２‐３] is complete. The password is "3564" in "USAGI
MODE" [うさぎモード], and "0286" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

| STAGE 2 BOSS: MIMETE [ステージ２ボス：ミメット] |

Step forward toward the third potted plant in the foreground to initiate the
boss battle. You will have to eliminate three Daimones [ダイモーン] before
Mimete [ミメット], the second member of the Witches 5 [ウィッチーズ５], shows
up. First is Osoji [オウソージ], then Nekonneru [ネコンネル], and finally Dai
Heart [ダイハート]. Then Mimete [ミメット] shows up once Dai Heart [ダイ
ハート] is defeated.

Mimete [ミメット] has three set of moves: Charm Buster [チャーム・ブスター],
shoving, and spinning. She doesn't have an attack pattern like Eudial
[ユージアル], but Mimete [ミメット] mostly spin around the area and she will
shove you if you get too close to her. Otherwise she will jump up, use her
Charm Buster [チャーム・ブスター] in which she will start singing. Four
musical notes will comes out: A sixteenth note, quarter note, eighth note,
and sixteenth note; to do damage to the heroine. Mimete [ミメット] is
invincible when she in the air, she is only vulnerable when she is spinning on
the ground. Time your attacks, the best attack to use here are jump kicks,
and dodge the musical notes. You can use up some of the Moon Rods [ムーン
ロッド] you've collected so far. This is an easy boss battle because Mimete
[ミメット] is a pushover and she will be defeated after four hits.

Defeating Mimete [ミメット] ends STAGE 2 [ステージ２]. The password is "4141"
in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], and "0486" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさ
モード].

In "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面] explains, "Here,
this is a Bonus Game! This restores your Life. Please find me. Press a
button at the door to look behind it. At that moment, a Sailor Soldier will
give you a hint. You're given 4 tries. Press the Start button." [「さあ、
ボーナスゲームだ！ライフがかいふくするぞ。わたしをみつけてみたまえ。ドアのまえ
でボタンをおせば、あけることができる。そのとき、セーラーせんしが、ヒントを
おしえてくれるだろう。チャンスは４かいだ。スタートボタンをおしてくれ。」].

In "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード], Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] explains,
"Here's a Bonus Game! This will restore your Life. Tuxedo Mask [タキシード
仮面] is hidden somewhere in this large apartment. Press a button at the door
to look behind. At that moment, a Sailor Soldier may give you a hint. You
have 5 tries to find him. You can press the Start button." [「ボーナスゲーム
よ！ライフがかいふくするわよ。マンションにかくれタキシードかめんをさがすのよ。
ドアのまえでボタンをおせば、あけることができるよ。そのとき、セーラーせんしが、
ヒントをおしえてくれるよ。５かいまでにさがしだしてね。スタートボタンを

There are five floors to this large apartment and Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面]
is hidden behind one of the four doors located on each floor. Every door you
look behind, the Sailor Soldier [セーラー戦士] behind it will give you a hint.

The difference between "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード] and "CHIBI USA MODE"
[ちびうさモード] are the amount of tries you are given to find Tuxedo Mask
[タキシード仮面]. You have 4 tries to find Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面] in
"USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード] and 5 tries in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさ
モード]. Also "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード] has a "x 5" multiplier at
the end for her SCORE [スコア]. Aside from that, the large apartment layout
are the same.

If you're on a floor higher than Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面]. The Sailor
Soldier [セーラー戦士] hints, "He's on the bottom floor." [「したのほうにる
よ」] If you're on a floor lower than Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面]. The
Sailor Soldier [セーラー戦士] hints, "He's on the top floor." [「うえのほう
にるよ」] If you are on the same floor as Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面]. The
Sailor Soldier [セーラー戦士] hints, "He's on this floor." [「このかいにいる
よ」] If you are on the correct floor and too far left of Tuxedo Mask
[タキシード仮面]. The Sailor Soldier [セーラー戦士] hints, "He's to your
right on this floor." [「みぎののほうにるよ」] If you're on the correct
floor and too far right of Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面]. The Sailor Soldier
[セーラー戦士] hints, "He's to your left on this floor." [「ひだりのほう
にるよ」] If you cannot find Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面] after your last
try. The Sailor Soldier [セーラー戦士] says, "Too bad. You can't find him."
[「ざんねんみつけられなかったね」]. And if you found Tuxedo Mask [タキシード
仮面]. He will say, "Ha ha ha, till we meet again! Farewell" [「ははは
またあおうさらばだ」]

When you have found Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面] or used up all of your tries,
your SCORE [スコア] will be shown. You are given 800 points times how many
tries are left over. The maximum SCORE [スコア] you can earn in this minigame
are 3200 points in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード] and 4000 points in "CHIBI USA
MODE" [ちびうさモード].

You will also be rewarded with a Heart [[ハート]] for every time your SCORE
[スコア] becomes a multiple of 1000. For example: If your SCORE was 800 and
you found him in two tries for a SCORE [スコア] of 1600. You will earn one
Heart [[ハート]] for the 1000 SCORE [スコア] difference.

Keep walking forward and defeat the Osoji [オウソージ] ahead. As you walk
forward, you will see an uncovered manhole here, don't fall in and simply jump
over it. When you have reach the first signpost, a blue Taiyan [タイヤーン]
will pop out. Defeat her and continue to where you will see some crates
stacked up as makeshift stairs. Another blue Taiyan [タイヤーン] will ambush
you here, the easiest way to hit her would be to stand on the edge of the
second step and she will pop out. Then try to hit her as she comes for you.

After the crate stairs, you should see a shutter door ahead. Stop before it
and a package will fall down, the falling object of this stage. Now you are
safe to proceed forward. Defeat the Nekonneru [ネコンネル], then jump over
the uncovered manhole, and collect the Moon Rod [ムーンロッド] next to the
Osoji [オウソージ] pacing around. Keep walking forward and defeat the
Nekonneru [ネコンネル] and proceed to the end of this stage.

The Space Sword [スペース・ソード] will materialize and collect it to complete
STAGE 3-1 [ステージ３‐１]. The password is "1849" in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎ
モード], and "5426" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

| STAGE 3-2 [ステージ３‐２] |
o------------------------------------------------------------------o

Defeat the Nekonneru [ネコンネル] ahead and there will be an uncovered
manhole. Jump over it and a package will fall down into the manhole. Then at
the crate stairs, stand on the edge of the first step. A purple Taiyan
[タイヤーン] will pop out and hit her to get her out of the way. Then when
you jump on the second step, a package will fall down at the third step, you
can safely proceed to climb down the stairs. There is an Osoji [オウソージ]
here and keep in mind she can also climb up those crate stairs. Simply defeat
her and continue forward.

Now here is where the roads breaks and there are even gaps. [Geez, Juuban is
such a dangerous place!] Jump over the gap and a package will fall down from
behind you. Walk slowly forward and at the end of the white bicycle railing,
another package will fall down. Now do a short jump to the other side, you
want to land at the left-most edge because a wall will immediately fall down
from here and it will hit you if you get too close. Jump over the last gap
and at the end of the first bicycle railing, another package will fall down,
and defeat the Nekonneru [ネコンネル] that is in your way.

Climb up the halfway crate steps to the edge and crouch down to look at the
ground below. There is an uncovered manhole here just waiting for you to jump
inside, so drop down from the stairs, and jump over the uncovered manhole and
over the gap. There is another Nekonneru [ネコンネル] here, defeat her and
jump over the last uncovered manhole ahead to the end of this stage.

The Deep Aqua Mirror [ディープ・アクア・ミラー] will materialize and collect
it to complete STAGE 3-2 [ステージ３‐２]. The password is "4163" in "USAGI
MODE" [うさぎモード], and "5428" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

| STAGE 3-3 [ステージ３‐３] |

Walk forward and defeat the Osoji [オウソージ]. Then at the crate stairs,
climb up the first step and a package will fall down at the third step. Go
ahead and climb up the stairs and there are blocks ahead. Climb up the first
block, then make sure to jump on the left-most edge of the second block
because a package will fall down and surely hit you if you are too close.
Also if you happen to fall off these blocks and attempt to climb up them
again, keep in mind that package will always fall down.

Now you are safe to finish climbing up the blocks to find the Garnet Orb
[ガーネット・オーブ]. Collect it to complete the Talismans [タリスマン]. Now
drop back down to the crate stairs and climb off the stairs to the ground
where there is an uncovered manhole in front of you and a Nekonneru
[ネコンネル] pacing about. Jump over the manhole and defeat the Nekonneru
[ネコンネル], then continue forth to end this stage.

If you are playing "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], the three Talismans
[タリスマン] will gather and Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] will transform into
Super Sailor Moon [スーパーセーラームーン]. In "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさ
モード], you simply proceed onto the boss battle.

Now STAGE 3-3 [ステージ３‐３] is complete. The password is "4170" in "USAGI
MODE" [うさぎモード], and "5434" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

| STAGE 3 BOSS: VILUY [ステージ３ボス：ビリユイ] |

Step forward toward the center of the window to initiate the boss battle. You
will have to eliminate three Daimones [ダイモーン] before Viluy [ビリユイ],
the fourth member of the Witches 5 [ウィッチーズ５], shows up. [Don't worry
about Tellu (テルル), she is the next boss.] First is Osoji [オウソージ],
then Nekonneru [ネコンネル], and finally Dai Heart [ダイハート]. Then Viluy
[ビリユイ] shows up once Dai Heart [ダイハート] is defeated.

Viluy [ビリユイ] has three set of moves: An electrical shock, Mosaic Buster
[モザイク・バスター], and teleporting. She doesn't have an attack pattern
like Eudial [ユージアル], but Viluy [ビリユイ] mostly walks toward you and if
you get too close to her, she will crouch down and send an electrical shock.
Then she will teleport backward and continue walking toward you. Sometimes
she will use her Mosaic Buster [モザイク・バスター] in which she crouches down
and fire two nano-robots from her bracelets. The Mosaic Buster [モザイク・
バスター] has a short-range distance, so as long as you keep away from her,
you should do fine. Viluy [ビリユイ] is invincible when she is teleporting or
using her Mosaic Buster [モザイク・バスター] attack, she is only vulnerable
when she is walking toward you. Time your attacks, make sure to keep away
from the nano-robots, or you can use up some of the Moon Rods [ムーンロッド]
you've collected so far.

Viluy [ビリユイ] can be tough if you don't know what you're doing. The
easiest way to defeat her would be to use your special move [必殺技]. Just
stand there and spam your special move [必殺技] because Viluy [ビリユイ] is
stupid enough to walk into it. She will be defeated after four hits.

Defeating Viluy [ビリユイ] ends STAGE 3 [ステージ３]. The password is "5151"
in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], and "8087" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさ
モード].

The difference between "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード] and "CHIBI USA MODE"
[ちびうさモード] are the countdown timer. In "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード],
you are given 3 seconds to answer the questions; and in "CHIBI USA MODE"
[ちびうさモード], you are given 5 seconds to answer the questions.

If you answered a question correctly, the timer will display, "RIGHT" [当].
When the quiz is complete, your SCORE [スコア] will be shown. You are given
2000 points times how many times you have correctly answered a question. The
maximum SCORE [スコア] you can earn in this minigame are 10000 points in both
"USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード] and "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

You will also be rewarded with a Moon Rod [ムーンロッド] for every time your
SCORE [スコア] becomes a multiple of 1000. For example: If your SCORE was
2000 and you got two questions right for a SCORE [スコア] of 4000. You will
earn two Moon Rods [ムーンロッド] for the 2000 SCORE [スコア] difference.

Head toward the top floor in this academy amidst construction!

Now you're up on a school under construction with skyscrapers illuminating the
night in the background on the first floor. Walk forward and defeat the blue
Taiyan [タイヤーン] that pops out after the first foreground column. Keep
going and defeat the Osoji [オウソージ] ahead, then at the stairs, climb them
up to the second floor.

At the second floor, go left. A brown cardboard box, the falling objects of
this stage, will fall at the second foreground column. Then at the third
foreground column, another brown cardboard box will fall down. And yet
another one will fall down somewhere after the fourth foreground column and
before the fifth foreground column. Now continue and climb up the stairs to
the third floor.

The third floor is pretty uneventful, you might catch a falling brown
cardboard box above you on the fourth floor. Use the lift mechanism at the
end to carry yourself to the fourth floor.

At the fourth floor, a brown cardboard box may fall down after the second
foreground column if you haven't already seen it drop at the third floor.
Continue forward and defeat the Nekonneru [ネコンネル]. And a brown cardboard
box will fall somewhere after the fourth foreground column and before the
fifth foreground column. Now climb up the stairs to the fifth floor.

At the fifth floor, continue forward and collect the Big Heart [大きなハート]
to restore your Life Gauge [ライフゲージ]. Then after the Big Heart [大きな
ハート], a purple Taiyan [タイヤーン] will pop out and defeat her. Proceed
forward, jump over the gap, and climb up the stairs to the sixth floor. Make
sure to not get hit by the Dai Heart [ダイハート] above.

Defeat the Dai Heart [ダイハート] on the sixth floor and carefully jump onto
the moving platform. Continue forward and before the stairs, a purple
cardboard box will fall down. [They're getting creative with colors now.]
Then climb up the stairs to the seventh floor.

At the seventh floor, defeat the Dai Heart [ダイハート] ahead and jump across
the gap. Then keep going toward the end of this stage.

The Space Sword [スペース・ソード] will materialize and collect it to complete
STAGE 4-1 [ステージ４‐１]. The password is "5162" in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎ

At the first floor, proceed forward and jump over the gap. Then watch out for
a blue Taiyan [タイヤーン] who will pop out afterward. Make a jump over the
large gap and climb up the stairs to the second floor. A brown cardboard box
may fall from above on the second floor.

At the second floor, a cardboard box may fall after the first foreground
column if it hasn't already. Jump over the large gap and continue forth to a
moving platform. Carefully get to the other side and there will be a Rose
[バラの花] above your head just before the stairs. Touch the Rose [バラの花],
and climb up the stairs to the third floor.

On the third floor, a blue Taiyan [タイヤーン] will pop out. Defeat her, then
keep going forward, and jump over the large gap. Your invincibility should
wear off at this time. Now climb up the stairs to the fourth floor.

At the fourth floor, keep walking forward until you reach a gap with a moving
platform. This part is tricky because the moving platform actually stops
short of where you're at. Time your jump carefully and get to the other side.
Defeat the Dai Heart [ダイハート] up ahead and climb up the stairs to the
fifth floor.

At the fifth floor, jump across the two large gaps, and get on the moving
platform. This moving platform will stop short of the other side, so time
your jump again. Then jump over the large gap and hop over the two small
gaps, and keep walking forward to the end of this stage.

The Deep Aqua Mirror [ディープ・アクア・ミラー] will materialize and collect
it to complete STAGE 4-2 [ステージ４‐２]. The password is "5173" in "USAGI
MODE" [うさぎモード], and "0603" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

Walk forward and climb up the blocks, time your jumps carefully at the moving
platform to make it to the other side to find the Garnet Orb [ガーネット・
オーブ]. Collect it to complete the Talismans [タリスマン]. Then drop back
down and jump over the gap. Collect the Moon Rod [ムーンロッド] and defeat
the Dai Heart [ダイハート] pacing around. Now jump across the large gap and
climb up the stairs toward the end of this stage.

If you are playing "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], the three Talismans
[タリスマン] will gather and Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] will transform into
Super Sailor Moon [スーパーセーラームーン]. In "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさ
モード], you simply proceed onto the boss battle.

Now STAGE 4-3 [ステージ４‐３] is complete. The password is "5182" in "USAGI
MODE" [うさぎモード], and "0800" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

| STAGE 4 BOSS: TELLU [ステージ４ボス：テルル] |

The moon in the background is a nice touch, walk away to initiate the boss
battle. You will have to eliminate three Daimones [ダイモーン] before Tellu
[テルル], the third member of the Witches 5 [ウィッチーズ５], shows up. First
is Osoji [オウソージ], then Nekonneru [ネコンネル], and finally Dai Heart
[ダイハート]. Then Tellu [テルル] shows up once Dai Heart [ダイハート] is
defeated.

Tellu [テルル] has three set of moves: Mandragora Buster [マンドラゴラ・
ブスター], punching, and teleporting. She doesn't have an attack pattern like
Eudial [ユージアル], but Tellu [テルル] mostly walks toward you and will punch
you if you get too close. Then sometimes she will teleport to the opposite
side and use her Mandragora Buster [マンドラゴラ・ブスター] to make four roses
fall from the sky which will do damage if the heroine touches them. Tellu
[テルル] is invincible when she is teleporting or using her Mandragora Buster
[マンドラゴラ・ブスター] attack, she only becomes vulnerable when she is
walking toward you. Time your attacks, step away from the falling roses, or
you can use up some of the Moon Rods [ムーンロッド] you've collected so far.

I suggest using the same strategy as Viluy [ビリユイ] when fighting Tellu
[テルル], and use your special moves [必殺技]. Unlike Viluy [ビリユイ], you
have to constantly move around to get out of the way of the falling roses.
Once these falling roses disappear, do another special move [必殺技], and
repeat because Tellu [テルル] will walk right into it. She will be defeated
after four hits.

Defeating Tellu [テルル] ends STAGE 4 [ステージ４]. The password is "6060"
in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], and "9100" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさ
モード].

The last of the Bonus Games. In "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード] or "CHIBI USA
MODE" [ちびうさモード], the bonus game [ボーナスゲーム] has the title, "LUNA
P BALL'S PICNIC" [ルナＰボールのピクニック].

In "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], Sailor Uranus [セーラーウラヌス] explains,
"Here, this is a Bonus Game! This'll restore your Life. Don't let the Luna P
Ball bump into Luna or Artemis, and go for the Goal. The 2 button makes you
move right, the 1 button makes you move left. Press the Start button."
[「さあ、ボーナスゲームだ！ライフがかいふくするぞ。ルナとアルテミスにぶつから
ないようにルナピーボールをゴールまで、つれていってくれ。２ボタンでみぎに、
１ボタンでひだりにうごくよ。スタートボタンをおしてくれ。」]

In "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード], Sailor Jupiter [セーラージュピター]
explains, "Here's a Bonus Game! Say, this'll restore your Life. Don't let
the Luna P Ball bump into Luna or Artemis, and make it toward the Goal. The 2
button lets you move right, the 1 button lets you move left. You can press
the Start button." [「ボーナスゲームよ！さあ、ライフをかいふくして。ルナと
アルテミスにぶつからないようにルナピーボールをゴールまでつれていってね。２

The difference between "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード] and "CHIBI USA MODE"
[ちびうさモード] are the spacing between Luna [ルナ] and Artemis
[アルテミス]. In "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード], you are given more
space.

If you let the Luna P Ball [ルナＰボール] bump into Luna [ルナ] or Artemis
[アルテミス], you will fail this minigame and your SCORE [スコア] will be 0000
points. Reaching the GOAL safely at the end, your SCORE [スコア] will be 3000
points, the maximum SCORE [スコア] you can earn in this minigame.

You will also be rewarded with a Heart [[ハート]] for every time your SCORE
[スコア] becomes a multiple of 1000. For example: If your SCORE was 0000 and
you beaten the minigame for a SCORE [スコア] of 3000. You will earn three
Hearts [[ハート]] for the 3000 SCORE [スコア] difference.

Please refer to "Section [13] MINIGAME: LUNA P BALL'S PICNIC [ルナＰボールの
ピクニック]" for explanations about this minigame.

The long awaited secret hideout of Professor Tomoe [土萠教授] and Kaolinite
[カオリナイト]!

Walk forward and at the upcoming edge, kneel down to see there is a gap with
water here, jump over it and defeat the Nekonneru [ネコンネル] at the other
end. There is another gap further ahead and as you jump over it, a purple
Taiyan [タイヤーン] will pop out. After defeating her, jump over another gap
and there will be a moving platform. Jump onto it and at the other end, jump
over another gap. A purple Taiyan [タイヤーン]will ambush you here. Once
she's gone, continue forth and jump onto the next ledge.

Be careful to not go past the blue pillar in the foreground because a purple
flaming orb, the falling object of this stage, will fall down. Keep going
forward and jump onto the next ledge, and take the lift up to another ledge.
[I don't know why this lift changes colors, that's odd.] Then defeat the Dai
Heart [ダイハート] here and collect the Big Heart [大きなハート]. Use the
lift at the end and you should see a gray flaming orb up in the air, when it
falls down, continue and drop down on the ledge to defeat the Osoji
[オウソージ]. Then keep going forward to the end of this stage.

The Space Sword [スペース・ソード] will materialize and collect it to complete
STAGE 5-1 [ステージ５‐１]. The password is "9172" in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎ
モード], and "0864" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

| STAGE 5-2 [ステージ５‐２] |

Walk forward and jump onto the moving platform. When you get off at the other
end, a blue Taiyan [タイヤーン] will ambush you here. When she's defeated,
jump over the gap and just when you see a Rose [バラの花] on the ground, stop
there. At the area where the two blue flasks are side-to-side by each other
in the background, a blue flaming orb will fall down here trying to trick you.
Once it's gone, collect the Rose [バラの花] and defeat the Dai Heart [ダイ
ハート] ahead. Just before the yellow wire on the ground by the ledge, a gray
flaming orb falls down, then jump onto the moving platform. And at the other
end, a black Taiyan [タイヤーン] will ambush you and defeat her. Your
invincibility should wear off at this time.

Then walk forward and stop before the second yellow wire on the ground, a gray
flaming orb will fall down here. Now you can proceed to the moving platform
ahead. As you jump off, stop right there because a gray flaming orb will fall
down by the blue wire in the background just before the Moon Rod [ムーン
ロッド] in the distance. Collect the Moon Rod [ムーンロッド] and defeat the
Dai Heart [ダイハート] ahead. Later a black Taiyan [タイヤーン] will pop out
around the blue pillar in the foreground and defeat her also. Do a short jump
up the ledge and another gray flaming orb falls down. Then continue forth and
jump up the ledge to the end of this stage.

The Deep Aqua Mirror [ディープ・アクア・ミラー] will materialize and collect
it to complete STAGE 5-2 [ステージ５‐２]. The password is "8387" in "USAGI

Walk forward toward the ledge and this part is really tricky, you will surely
fall if you are not too careful. Jump onto the moving platform and wait for
it to come near the blocks. Then jump up the three blocks to another moving
platform. Time your jumps carefully onto the blocks to find the Garnet Orb
[ガーネット・オーブ] hovering above. Collect it to complete the Talismans
[タリスマン]. Now there is a blue flaming orb here, wait for it to fall down
and safely drop down. Then defeat the Dai Heart [ダイハート] ahead and keep
walking forward to end this stage.

If you are playing "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], the three Talismans
[タリスマン] will gather and Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] will transform into
Super Sailor Moon [スーパーセーラームーン]. In "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさ
モード], you simply proceed onto the boss battle.

Now STAGE 5-3 [ステージ５‐３] is complete. The password is "6298" in "USAGI
MODE" [うさぎモード], and "9600" in "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード].

If you are playing "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], be prepared to fight two
bosses here: Cyprine & Ptitol [シプリン＆プチロル], and Kaolinite
[カオリナイト]. But if you are playing "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード],
Cyprine & Ptitol [シプリン＆プチロル] will be your final boss.

Step forward from the blue pipe on the ground to initiate the boss battle.
You will have to eliminate three Daimones [ダイモーン] before the blue Witch,
Cyprine [シプリン], and the red Witch, Ptitol [プチロル], the last members of
the Witches 5 [ウィッチーズ５], shows up. First is Osoji [オウソージ], then
Nekonneru [ネコンネル], and finally Dai Heart [ダイハート]. Then Cyprine
[シプリン] shows up from the right once Dai Heart [ダイハート] is defeated.

Cyprine [シプリン] and Ptitol [プチロル] both have two set of moves: Punching
and swapping out. Also Cyprine [シプリン] will always be on the right side
and Ptitol [プチロル] will always be on the left side. Their attack pattern
is that Cyprine [シプリン], from the right, will walk toward you and try to
punch you if you get too close. Then she swaps herself out with Ptitol
[プチロル], from the left, who will walk toward you and try to punch you if
you get too close. They are invincible when they are swapping out, so make
sure to get a hit in before they swap out. Time your attacks and use up all
of the Moon Rods [ムーンロッド] you've collected so far. If you are playing
"USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], remember to conserve most of your Moon Rods
[ムーンロッド] and your health because you are fighting Kaolinite
[カオリナイト] right afterward.

Cyprine [シプリン] and Ptitol [プチロル] both can be tough if you don't know
what you're doing. The easiest way to defeat them would be to do a jump kick
at Cyprine [シプリン] then wait for her to swap out with Ptitol [プチロル].
Before Ptitol [プチロル] jumps in, quickly jump kick her just as she lands and
she will swap herself out with Cyprine [シプリン]. Repeat this process and
both Witches will be defeated. Cyprine [シプリン] and Ptitol [プチロル] both
will be defeated after four hits each, or eight hits altogether.

If you are playing "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード], skip this section and read
"STAGE 5 BOSS: KAOLINITE [ステージ５ボス：カオリナイト]".

But if you are playing "CHIBI USA MODE" [ちびうさモード], defeating Cyprine
[シプリン] and Ptitol [プチロル] ends STAGE 5 [ステージ５] and you will be
treated to the Good Ending afterward. The password is "7777" in "CHIBI USA
MODE" [ちびうさモード].

| STAGE 5 BOSS: KAOLINITE [ステージ５ボス：カオリナイト] |

Then Kaolinite [カオリナイト], the final boss, will soon materialize at the
center of this area. The best way to start this battle is to walk over to one
side of the screen, then press and hold down the 1 button. Wait for the Color
Meter [カラーメーター] to be completely filled up or when she starts spinning.
And when Kaolinite [カオリナイト] finally appears, release the button and will
get a first hit in easily.

Kaolinite [カオリナイト] have two set of moves: A bracelet attack and
teleportation. Her attack pattern is that she will walk toward you and try to
use her bracelet attack if you get too close. Then she will teleport randomly
in the area, usually next to you, and try to attack her with her bracelet if
she gets close. She is invincible only when she is teleporting. Time your
attacks and use up all of your Moon Rods [ムーンロッド].

The easiest way to hit Kaolinite [カオリナイト] is to stand on the opposite
side of where she teleports. Then go ahead and use your special moves or
special attacks against her, Kaolinite [カオリナイト] will teleport again. If
she is far away from you, repeat the process by using your special moves
[必殺技] against her. And if Kaolinite [カオリナイト] ever appears near you,
just simply jump away from her and then use your special moves [必殺技].
Kaolinite [カオリナイト] will be defeated after seven hits.

Defeating Kaolinite [カオリナイト] ends STAGE 5 [ステージ５] in "USAGI MODE"
[うさぎモード] and you will be treated to the True Ending afterward. The
password is "8888" in "USAGI MODE" [うさぎモード]

This minigame requires some patience and quick reflexes. You are not allowed
to bump into Luna [ルナ], the black cat from behind; or Artemis [アルテミス],
the white cat in front. The trickiest part is mainly avoiding Artemis'
[アルテミス] tail, you can do that by gently tapping the 2 button to back
away. The slopes are the hardest part, but I find it best to let the Luna P
Ball [ルナＰボール] fall slowly down the slopes and insure that it won't bump
into Artemis [アルテミス] at the bottom of the slope by gently tapping the 2
button. One funny thing you can do before reaching the GOAL [ゴール] is to
allow Artemis [アルテミス] to continue walking toward the end of the screen.
He will then fall off the screen as if there was a cliff.

look behind, the Sailor Soldier [セーラー戦士] behind it will give you a hint.

Soldier [セーラー戦士] hints, "He's on the bottom floor." [「したのほうにる
よ」] If you're on a floor lower than Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面]. The
Sailor Soldier [セーラー戦士] hints, "He's on the top floor." [「うえのほう
にるよ」] If you are on the same floor as Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面]. The
Sailor Soldier [セーラー戦士] hints, "He's on this floor." [「このかいにいる
よ」] If you are on the correct floor and too far left of Tuxedo Mask
[タキシード仮面]. The Sailor Soldier [セーラー戦士] hints, "He's to your
right on this floor." [「みぎののほうにるよ」] If you're on the correct
floor and too far right of Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面]. The Sailor Soldier
[セーラー戦士] hints, "He's to your left on this floor." [「ひだりのほう
にるよ」] If you cannot find Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面] after your last
try. The Sailor Soldier [セーラー戦士] says, "Too bad. You can't find him."

There are eight characters you have to stop on in a specific order. They are:
Sailor Neptune [セーラーネプチューン], Sailor Mercury [セーラーマーキュリー],
Sailor Venus [セーラーヴィーナス], Sailor Mars [セーラーマーズ], Sailor Uranus
[セーラーウラヌス], Sailor Pluto [セーラープルート], Tuxedo Mask [タキシード
仮面], and Sailor Jupiter [セーラージュピター]. You are given 18 seconds to
stop on all eight characters in both modes. The easiest way to safely land on
the correct character is to press the button on the bottom character's face in
the roulette just after it passes the portrait on top. Or more specifically,
when the bottom left corner of the top portrait touches the top right corner
of the character's face. Then it should usually land on the correct face.

If you have correctly stop on a character's face, the message bar on top will
display, "CORRECT!" [あたり！]. If you have incorrectly stop on a character's
face, the message bar on top will display, "WRONG!" [はずれ！]. When time has
run out, the message bar on top will display, "TIME'S UP!!" [タイム
アップ！！]. If you have successfully stop on all eight characters, the
message bar on top will display, "PERFECT!! [ＰＥＲＦＥＣＴ！！].

[レイちゃんの占い★彡]. You input your information here. It is pretty self
explanatory. The calendar dates are setup as "Year" [年], "Month" [月], and
"Day" [日]. You can change the digits by pressing up or down on the
directional pad or the 1 or 2 buttons, or move onto the next or previous set
of digits by pressing left or right on the directional pad.

Under "TODAY'S DATE" [今日の日付け], you will enter today's date. The default
is set to "1994 / 12 / 25" [１９９４年１２月２５日], on Christmas. Odd,
considering this game was released on January 27th, 1995.

Under "BIRTHDATE?" [生年月日は？], enter in your birthday. The default is set
to "1973 / 12 / 14" [１９７３年１２月１４日]. Unusual because no one shares
that birthdate in the Sailor Moon [セーラームーン] series, nor is it Naoko
Takeuchi's [武内直子].

And under "BLOOD TYPE?" [けつえきがたは？]. You can choose from "A Type" [Ａ
がた], "B Type" [Ｂがた], "AB Type" [ＡＢがた], or "O Type" [Ｏがた]. The
default is set to "A Type" [Ａがた], the same blood type as Sailor Mercury
[セーラーマーキュリー], Tuxedo Mask [タキシード仮面], and Sailor Pluto
[セーラープルート].

Once you are done, press the Start button to see your results.

5. And under "LUCKY COLOR" [ラッキーカラー], this is your lucky color for
today and the default is red.
