In the game Baku Baku, you play as the young girl Polly. You will play
through and encounter many different characters, human and animal alike, that
you must defeat in order to win the competition. If you succeed, then you will
be the "zookeeper" for the royal family and take care of their animals. There
are three available difficulties for you to attempt the competition on.
(Practice, Normal, and Hard)

There are 8 pieces in the Baku Baku game. There are 4 animals, with their 4
respective foods. They are as listed below

Each level is set up so that the pieces all fall in pairs of two of any of the
8 pieces. When you line up an animal with its food, the animal eats the food,
and any of the same food adjacent to that piece (remember that pieces diagonal
do not count and will not be eaten). Also, if you line up two animals that are
both adjacent to a pile of their food, one of the animals can eat all of the
food and the other animal.

D-pad Left: Moves the current set of falling blocks to the left.
Right: Moves the current set of falling blocks to the right.
Down: Moves the current set of falling blocks down at a faster speed.
Button 1: Rotates the outermost piece in a counter-clockwise direction.
Button 2: Rotates the outermost piece in a clockwise direction.
Start: Pauses the game. (Note that there is no pause menu, just a pause screen,
so you cannot get back to the main screen from here)

Tips (TIP1)

-- You may notice that when you clear blocks with things on top of them, all of
the pieces that were above them fall down until they are stopped. You can
use this to your advantage by lining up an animal and its food with some
pieces inbetween. This way, when you clear the pieces inbetween them, the
top one will drop and they will clear also. This becomes critical to do in
the harder difficulties.
|B| ~In this example, assume the blocks clear when an uppercase
|b| letter matched its lowercase counterpart~
~Here, when you dropped the "|B||b|" block down, the |a| block
|a| would land on the |A| block, clearing all of the blocks in
|b||b||b||b| one move~

-- Every once in awhile during the game, some random pieces will be dropped
down onto your playing area. Watch out for this in the later stages. This
can really mess you up if you have a nice big area of food, and are waiting
for its animal to come up. The best way to avoid this is to always be
working on multiple areas at once; always be thinking of more than just one
area of food.
-- In the bottom right hand of the screen, it shows the progress of your
enemy. You can use this often to track how far ahead of your enemy you are.
This is especially helpfull in the later (and harder) stages, when the
blocks start accumulating and fill the screen up. You can use it to see the
progress of the enemy to see if they are about to lose, and if you still
can win.
-- During the game (if you are playing a level after Practice Level 1) then you
may come across a (B)(B) piece. These pieces are very helpful. They take
the place of the respective animal/food of whatever it lands on. If it
lands on something, then it gets rid of all of the same pieces adjacent to
the one that it landed it. The beauty of this piece however, is that if
it lands on two different pieces, it works for both. Here's my attempt
at showing it.

~In this example, the (B)(B) piece would land on both
an |A| and a |C| piece. Because of this, all of the
|A| and |C| pieces would be cleared, getting rid
|A||A||A||C||C||C| of all of the pieces.~

Passwords (PAS1)

Baku Baku does not have a real saving system, instead you play the game
password style, getting a password after every level. So when you beat level
one you get a password, which will bring you to level two if you put it in.
If you don't want to actually get all of the levels, I've beaten them and
recorded the passwords for you. They will be broken down by difficulty and
level.
