II. Intro
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
The President of the United States has been assasinated by, who everone
seems to think, you.
You wank up one a desolate New England beach. The imact of a bullet has
left your head throbbing, and without memory. The mysterious number XIII has
been tattoed on your chest and the key to a New York bank boxis stashed in
your pocket. You struggle to your feet with the help of a convieniently
placed lifeguard. With tons of assailants intent on killing you, you are in
shock with the skill of hitmen after you, before you are able to track any
shred of information about your identity, and your connection to the
assasination of the president, at the bank.
What could lie in wait for our brave hero?
////////////////////////
III. Story of XIII
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
A man wakes up on a beach. He has no idea who he is.
He sets on on a search of his past. His only clue is the roman numeral "XIII"
tattoed on your chest and a key to a deposit box in one of New York's largest
banks, Winslow Bank.
He finds a passport in the safe which reveals his identity. His name: Steve
Rowland, and he's a captain in the US Army. Just moments after making this
discovery, he is arrested by Colonel Amos, director of the FBI's anti-
terrorist department. He's accused of the murder of Willian Sheridan, the
43rd US president. With the evidence of an enlarged snapshot of him holding
a sniper's rifle, it is obvious he could have done it.
Wanted by all cops in New York State and constantly hunted by the Mongoose,
the amnesiac seems doomed to the descision of death or prison. But with the
unexpected gelp of a past friend, Major Jones, he might be able to flee from
New York. During their escape, Jones reveals that XIII is a secret agent,
working for General Carrington, a nonconformist officer who was
conducting a counter-inquiry into the presidential assasination when he was
arrested and held in an isolated military base in the Appalachians.
When XIII realises Carrington is the only one who can shed light on his
past, he sets off to find and free him with the help of Major Jones.

I. Doctor Johansson
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
This conspirator is extremely fast! He uses mainly throwing knives, but he
will sometimes inject you with a hallucingenic drug that makes you drop
your current gun/item. Use the dead guy as kind of a barrier as you both
play ring-around-the-rosie around him. Or, you can run around in crazy
circles while dodging his knives and injections.
After he runs out of throwing knives, he will pick uo some chemicals, and
start thowing them at you like grenades. I suggest using your 44 Special
or the Shotgun, if he gets close.
If you start running out of health go get the Medkit off the back counter
where he got the chemical grenades.
Grab all of the good stuff off of him, and collect his document. Walk
into the small office to trigger a flashback.
After the flashback, unlock the door, with the nurse in it, with the key
you got from Doctor Johansson's body. Just for kicks, you can shoot the
psycho.
There is a lot left to expain about the rest of this level but this is a
boss FAQ, so I'll drop you off at the checkpoint... Which is here.
////////////////////////
II. Colonel MacCall
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
This conspirator, I'd have to say is the easiest. Armed with AR Grenades,
this dude is a slice of cheesecake. Blast him a couple of times with the
AR Grenades to soften him up, then finish him off with your M60 or Assault
Rifle.
I haven't found any MedKits in this battle, probably because I didn't
really need them. But, if you do, I suggest you try and find one or use
one that you got before the battle.
Like I said: easy.
////////////////////////
III. Captain Pacha
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
This conspirator is the wimpiest of all! All he has is a MiniGun and a few
henchmen armed with 9mm's. Pick those guys off then go after Pacha. When
you have to reload, get behind the torpedo racks, pop out and hammer in
another clip into him from your Assault Rifle.
The henchmen do a good bit of damage, so you might want to keep an eye on
the doors at the begining of the battle, to avoid wasting a MedKit.
After the battle, grab the stuff off of his body, including the key. Use
the key to open the hatch door in the ceiling. Go find the Torpedo Room
Key, go to the Torpedo Room to get the Torpedo Lock Key. Go back down the
hatch. Find the place to insert the key. (It kinda says in obvious print:
"Insert Torpedo Lock Key here")
While the torpedo hatch opens, two crewmembers will attack you. Pick them
off and run into the torpedo hatch, to end the mission.
Hey! I got you through the rest of the mission! Unlike in the end of the
Doctor Johansson battle.
////////////////////////
IV. Attack Chopper
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
The chopper attacks you with rockets and an effective machine gun. Right
when you walk into the arena run behind the cargo containers to your
right to avoid his attacks. When it stops swaying like a drunk dude, pop
out and launch a rocket at it, but duck back behind the crate, because it
is also shooting rockets at you!
Eventually, you will run out of rockets. When this happens, run like crazy
around the dock, looking on and behind crates for rockets. About eight or
nine skillfully placed rockets should bring it to the ground.
Not much left to explain here. Just walk to where the chopper hit the
ground. Don't be scared, walk through the fire, and on the other side of
the fire, three cars will pull up. They order you to drop your weapons, and
make no sudden moves. The gun will be put away automatically, but you can
still run around like a crazy man, they don't care.
Walk up to Colonel Amos and a cinema will start. You give him the Rowland
Files, and BAM, the level is over.
////////////////////////
V. Winslow and Willard
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Pfft! Is this a joke?!
Keep, your distance from this guy, because he is armed with a Shotgun. Use
your Dual MiniGuns to make short, clean work of Winslow and his "manly"
guard.
(If you didn't notice the guard is a woman. Just making sure you're still
awake and at attention.)
After you kill Winslow, get the key from his body. The FBI agents will be
calling, asking if everything is okay. Unlock the door and follow the FBI
agents into a hallway. As you walk in a panel opens up and it shows an FBI
agent getting shot by Willard.
This guy is only a fraction harder than Winslow. This one is also armed
with a Shotgun. He will run out into the hall you are in, shoot at you a
few times, and run into a meeting room. Corner him there and pound a
magazine, or two, into him to finish him off.
After you kill Willard get his documents and then the mission is over.
////////////////////////
VI. Four Helicopters
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Four choppers, no hiding places... crud. The only way to avoid these
shots is to, once again, run like crazy. Shooting the choppers themselves
is useless, try and aim at the guys, well, shooting you from in the saftey
of their helicopters. After that, the chopper flees and the next one is up
to bat.
After the four helicopters are gone, the rescure chopper arrives... Nice
timing...NOT!
Go to the edge of the cliff, and jump for your life towards
the ladder, but don't miss or it's helicopter warefare all over again.
////////////////////////
VII. General Standwell
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Sure, this guy may have one eye, but his accuracy is killer! To make it
even harder, he is armed with an M60! With very few Medkits in the area,
you have to make every shot count. Run around the pillars and hammer in a
few clips with your Assault Rifle. After you've damaged him a bit, give
him some distance and pound in a few AR Grenades.
Once Standwell is dead grab his M60 and his key. Unlock the door labeled:
"Security Personnel Only" and walk inside. There, you will find President
Galbrain.
Protect him and entrust him to a GI. Press the button in the security room
to open the doors. Pick up the president and leave the conference room.
This is all I can tell you, you're on your own now kid, or video game
engrossed, middle-aged, man, who lives in his mom's basement... Ahem,
anyway, I'm dropping you off at the checkpoint, again, good luck!
////////////////////////
VIII. The Mongoose
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
This battle isn't a joke, like the other guys. This is the hardest battle
I've fought through. This guy will tear you apart with his Dual MiniGuns!
Just run around or hide behind something to avoid his shots. He will
eventually Have to reload, so he will run behind some missles. Yay! That
makes it easier! When he gets behind the missle, shoot it and coolant will
spray out of the other side. Run near the mist and shoot towards where you
think he is. When the mist clears, you will see him coughing, now is the
time to give it to him!
I suggest you use a MedKit between attacks. If you run out uf MiniGun ammo,
Start using your Assault Rifle or your M60. Jones will eliminate the SPADS
and Army soldiers above you. If any bodies fall, run up and get their
stuff.
When he runs out of health, Mangouste will jump to his death. But, is he
dead for good? We may never know...
Meet Jones at the top of the platform. She will lead you to General
Carrington and Senator Sheridan. (Sound familiar to anyone?)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I won't ruin The Party mission for anyone, but let's just say it all falls
together in...
