Introduction
::.::.::.::.::.::.::.::.::.::.::.::.::.::

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 was the first Hawk game I really got into, and because
I didn't yet have a PS2 I was forced to play through the PSX version, which,
in my opinion, was as good as I was expecting, if not more. I instantly fell
in love with the series, and vowed the fourth installment to be my first ever
PS2 game the following year when I recieved the console as a birthday present
from my mom. Sure enough, it was. I bought the game and a memory card the very
night I unpacked the PS2 and hooked it up. Once again, I was amazed at how
awesome this game was. Well worth the price tag, if not more.

So, after playing through the game once and getting all the goals, but missing
a few thousand dollars in cash, I decided to start over and work towards
getting 100% on everything, including gaps and cash so I could unlock the final
secret character and be able to say without a doubt that I beat the game. Being
as interested in writing as I am, I decided to write a FAQ for the game for a
number of reasons. Number one, I feel as though I could describe each goal with
enough deatil so that anyone who reads the guide will understand it and
recommend it to other people. Secondly, I find it extremely fun to write about
video games, especially something as big and as helpful as a FAQ.

So, as you can tell from what I have listed in the table of contents, this
guide will eventually have everything you need to master the game. Some people
like to put in character profiles and controls and stuff like that, but that
stuff is what the actual game manual is for, so I probably won't bother to post
it here. I've estimated that the final file size will be between 250k and
300k, all of it being content you actually need, with no fillers. I hope you
enjoy the guide, and if it helps you or you have any questions, don't hesitate
for a momment to send me an email.

NOTE: When I was writing this guide, I had already unlocked all of the goals so
     I was just doing them over again for the Walkthrough. When I was nearly
     finished, I realized that this meant that all the Pro Objects would be
     automatically unlocked when I started each level, when they otherwise
     wouldn't be if I were playing through the game for the first time.
     Therefore, in some of the descriptions I may mention items that aren't
     unlocked for you yet. I apoligize for this, and when I play through the
     game again for the Cash List I will try my best to correct any errors I
     made. Also, please email me at Playstman[at]aol[dot]com with any of these
     errors and I'll correct them immediately. Thank you.

Note: To get onto the roof of the Fine Arts building, head over to it and look
to the left of the tall quarter pipe. You will see two little glass doors.
Skate into them, and then into the open elevator in front of you.

==============================
-High Score: 40,000-
==============================

You really should have no problem with this goal, but if you do, I would
suggest you do a lot of practicing on the side. The scores only get harder from
here, so make sure you can easily master this simple goal before moving on.
From the area where you begin this goal, just use the quarter pipes and rails
around you to stack up a few combos. Specials and flatland are always good, and
it's better to get used to them now than have to do it later when the scores
are much larger.

==============================
-S-K-A-T-E-
==============================

S - From where you start, head straight for the Elementary school. When you see
   a walkway with a blue handrail on both sides, grind the one on the left and
   then leap up to grab the S on the overhang.

K - From the S, head for the parking garage. On the right side of the street,
   you should notice some red rails. Grind them around the curve and up the
   raised gate and into a grind on the wire above to grab the K.

A - After getting the K, continue to skate down this street and when you see a
   silver truck with a plywood ramp in the back, use it to lauch yourself onto
   the red and white striped canopy. Skate through the frat window and onto
   their little porch/patio/terrace area. From here, if you look towards the
   street you should see the A floating in the air. Ollie over the little
   white fence and grab it on your way down.

T - After getting the A, skate up the walkway with the guy stuck in the garbage
   can and the rails on both sides. When you get to the end, you should
   already see the T floating over the quarter pipe on the Fine Arts building.
   Just ride up it and you have it.

E - Skate across from where you got the T and to the building with the
   Homecoming 2K2 banner on it. Go up the quarter pipe and grind the rail
   above it to the right and when it ends jump off to grab the E.

==============================
-C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

Get used to this goal, because there is at least two of these in every level.
Like the scores, they only get harder, so get used to it. This one, thankfully,
is so easy it shouldn't take you more than twice to nail it. Start a grind on
the silver rail in front of you. Hold your grind as you transfer to a wooden
fence, and after you've gotten the C-O-M-B, you'll have to jump a small gap and
land a grind on the other side to pick up the last letter. Easy.

==============================
-Race the Inline Skater-
==============================

Well, here's one you never expected. A local inline skater has challenged you
to beat his best score at the ULTIMATE inline route. You won't exactly be going
at it in skates, though. You'll use your board, but you'll be laying down on it
as if this was one big luge course. There are 15 pairs of cones you must pass
through, with arrows to guide you. Screw the arrows, here's how it goes:

From the start, roll straight forward and through the first set of cones. Turn
right and go between the rails on the walkway, and watch out for the garbage
can on your way down. Pass through the second set just as you turn onto the
street, and stick to the right of the road and grab the third set as you turn
right and head towards the clock tower. After the turn, use X to hop up the
stairs in front of you and grab the fouth, fifth, and sixth cones on your way
to the tower.

Make a sharp turn to the left as you near the steps leading up the tower to get
the seventh set of cones. After you turn you'll end up facing the street and
the eigth and ninth set are right in front of you. Turn left as you hit the
streets and slalom to get the next 5 pairs of cones, and roll straight into the
parking garage to get the last one.

==============================
-Nail the tricks they yell out-
==============================

Again, you'll see one of these in every level, but they seldom ever get harder
than this. You'll have a set amount of time to pull of a certain number of
tricks in a specific area. For this challenge, you have to pull of a random
list of simple grab and flip tricks in the half pipe in front of you, and the
one right next to it you can transfer into. The number of tricks you need to do
varies between 18 and 19. You can easily get away with only one trick per air,
but when you have 2 flip tricks in a row it wouldn't hurt to speed things up a
bit and nail them both, especially if you fall at any time. Finish the tricks
before time runs out, and you've got it. Piece of cake, really.

==============================
-Get back at the 5 frat boys-
==============================

Five of the local frat boys have put your buddy in a trash can, and now it's
your turn to get back at them. Start by skating over to the frat ledge, which
is the one with the frat dude on it with a few kegs of beer around him and it's
to the left of the frat house. Grind this ledge to the right to knock him down,
and when the grind ends skate over to the two guys stading on kegs up here to
knock them down. When you've done that, jump down from up there and skate over
to the end of the tan wall near the coliseum or near the gateway leading into
the park. Wallride up and grind down it to get the last two frat boys.

==============================
-Spine Trabsfer over the wall-
==============================

The purpose of this goal is to get you familiar with the Spine transfer, one of
the new moves added to this game, and it's very easy. Atiba wants you to
practice this move by spine transfering the wall next to him 3 times. The first
time, you just need to transfer over it. The second time, you have to kickflip
while you transfer. Lastly, depending on which skater you're using, you have to
do either a cannonball or an Indy while transfering. You can do these tricks
either before or after you press R2 or L2, but don't wait too long or you won't
make it.

==============================
-Warn the other skaters-
==============================

Skateboarding isn't a crime! Try telling that to Officer Tom, because he's
about to bust some of the local skaters and you're the only one who can save
them. There are four skaters to warn, so get to it.

Skater 1 - Skate down the street as if you were going to the frat house, and at
          the end make a left turn and head up the walkway towards the big
          white philosophy building. Skater 1 should be standing right in
          front of the steps, so just skate up to him to warn him.

Skater 2 - After skater 1, continue around the fine arts building and follow
          the black asphalt path. Keep going straight, past the clock tower,
          and you should see him right next to the security building.

Skater 3 - Make a U-turn around the security building and head directly back to
          where skater 1 was, using the same path. When you get there, keep
          going past him and towards the coliseum. Jump over the concrete
          barrier and down into the coliseum to warn the third skater.

Skater 4 - From skater 3, start a grind on one of the red rails down there in
          the coliseum. After grinding all three, use the quarter pipe at the
          end of the coliseum to transfer out of it to the right. When you get
          out, head down the road to the left, skating towards the parking
          garage. The last skater is right in front of the raised security
          gate.

==============================
-Skitch the Professor's car-
==============================

Oh no! Some kids are trying to steal the professor's car! Normally, neither of
us would care, but in order to complete this goal, you have to stop them. If
you haven't tried skitching yet, now you have. Skate up to the rear of the car
and press up to grab hold of it, and then just enjoy the ride! The car thieves
will take you all over the campus, but luckily your skitching balance is many
times better than that of a manual or a grind. When you've skitched them long
enough they'll stop the car and run. Congrats, you're a hero.

==============================
-Grind down Officer Tom's banners-
==============================

It seems Officer Tom isn't too popular around campus. You've been asked to
grind down all his campaign banners, of which there are seven. This is easily
accomplished by starting a grind on the tan wall in front of you, and holding
it all the way to the end. If you fall of, just get back up and start from
where you left off. When you finish that wall, you'll only have three more
banners left. Get them by starting a grind on the other tan wall. Grind all the
way down it and you'll be done with this goal.

==============================
-Pro Score: 75,000-
==============================

Not much harder than the High Score, so you shouldn't have any problems with
it. Use the spine right in front of where you start and the Fine Arts quarter
pipe to hit a few combos. Use a lip trick when you're getting slow and flatland
when you know you can't make it up the next ramp. There are also some nice
grinding lines if street is more your style, so take advantage of them. A good
one is to grind the white ledge near the Philosophy building stairs, transfer
the grind to the stairs, then to the other ledge, and then over to the grey
concrete ledge on the coliseum. Grind this ledge towards the street, keeping to
the right side of it, and you'll transfer your grind to a wire heading over the
street. Balance for as long as you can and don't forget to use specials as
often as you can. When your grind balance is dying, ollie off and throw down
some flatland to finish it off.

==============================
-Stop all of the Pink Elephants-
==============================

12 elephants, 10 seconds, and one very confused bum. This guy needs help, and
right now all he wants is for you to stop the pink elephants floating around
the place. Easy enough.

Grind the logs in front of you to get the first three elephants. From this
grind, head straight for the large drainage area with the pink elephants in it.
Do not grind the ledge the elephants are sitting on, just skate real close to
them and that should be enough to get those two. Transfer the two spines after
the last two elephants to make it seven total. As you transfer the second
spine, your timer will probably run out. This means you now need to revert and
manual to get the last of them. Start a grind on the logs, and watch out for
the two gaps between the logs you'll need to ollie over and when you get to the
last log ollie off to get the final elephant.

==============================
-Medal in the competition-
==============================

In the previous games, there were entire levels set aside for competitions.
Thankfully, Neversoft realized what a waste this was, and now there is a
seperate competition for each level. You basically get 3 runs to throw down
as many points as you can in a 1 minute time span. Not so in this competition,
because here you'll only get 10 seconds to score points because they all have
to be in one combo. This is good news for you, because knowing how to throw
down a great combo is the key to success in this game.

One good way to score a huge combo is to make a slight turn to the right when
you start, hit the quarter pipe, bust a trick, revert to manual, grind the
rail, grind the other rail, grind yet another rail, manual, hit the quarter
pipe, nail a special, revert to manual, and keep going with this line for as
long as you can, using special grinds at every little chance.

If you'd rather stick to vert, then just transfer over the spine to your right
and you'll be in a nifty half pipe where you can throw down your best grabs
and specials.

==============================
-Nail a 360 Varial Mctwist-
==============================

This move was added to the game late in development, and about two weeks later
Tony Hawk became the very first person to land it. It looks pretty cool, and
if you can pull it off here you can use it whenever you want. Just use the
ramps to build up your special meter, and tap the buttons like any other
special. Very easy, and you'll unlock another special trick slot if you do. You
can edit this trick slot to have anything you want there, but if you don't this
trick will still be there.

==============================
-Clock 5 jocks in one combo-
==============================

Sounds harder than it is. Start a grind on the red rail in front of you,
jumping from this rail to the next, and land in a manual off of the last rail.
You don't have enough speed to go up the quarter pipe, so just keep your manual
steady and when you turn around hop onto one of the red rails again. Transfer
all the grinds to get to the other side of the coliseum and this time you may
have enough speed to go all the way up the quarter pipe, so if you haven't
gotten all 5 jocks yet, just revert to manual and continue the rail hoppin' to
plow the rest of them down.

==============================
-Gap between floats 10 times-
==============================

There is a parade running through town and Atiba wants to get some shots of you
gaping between any of the floats 10 times. From the start, spine transfer into
the blue float and then leap into the big wooden bowl for the first transfer.
The last nine transfers will be spine transfers from this pool to the yellow
half pipe, and then back again. When the parade goes into the turn don't do any
transfering or you'll miss the float you're aiming for.

Note: The following goals can only be activated once you've completed 90
regular goals and 1 Pro Challenge.

==============================
-Combo the benches, stairs, and flag pole-
==============================

Chances are, you've probably skated this line before, so it's nothing new.
Jamie wants you to start a combo on the benches in front of you, leap into a
grind on the the short ledge next to the stairs, and then onto the edge of the
flag pole fountain thingie. You have to score at least 50,000 points, which
should be a breeze by now.

Flip trick into a grind on the bench in front of you, making sure you grind it
to the right. Flip out of this grind into a manual, flip into a grind on the
stairs, then flip trick into a special grind on the flag pole and hold it for
a couple seconds and you should have plenty enough points.

==============================
-Get all 4 Master's lip gaps-
==============================

This is another easy goal, but I had some trouble with it at first because I
just didn't know where they all were. I feel like an idiot now, but at least
you don't have to.

Masters in Philosophy - From where you start, skate straight forward and use
the quarter pipe to lip trick the top of the roof.

Masters in Engineering - Lip trick on the Homecoming 2K2 sign. From the first
lip gap, it should in front of you, but a little to the right on the building
the E in SKATE was.

Masters in Fine Arts - Use the Fine Arts quarter pipe to launch up and lip the
roof of the cafeteria/Fine Arta building. You have to use the edges of the
quarter pipe because the roof only sticks out on the ends. Down the middle is
nothing but air.

Masters in English - Turn right from the Fine Arts quarter pipe and use either
one of the quarter pipes set up against the old brick building and lip the edge
of the roof.

==============================
-Pro C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

For the first level, this is definitely the hardest goal. You really have to be
great at grinding to get this one, because excellent balance is the only thing
you can accomplish this goal with.

From the start, Grind the little rail in front of you for some speed, then use
the quarter pipe against the wall on your left to grind the top of the wall.
Grind over the gateway and you'll get the C.

After this, you can do one of two things. First, you could hold your grind and
get the O, and then shortly after that jump hard to the right and land a grind
on the second part of the wall to continue. It's much easier to make the jump
if you're on the right side of the wall, but you may miss the O sometimes while
on this side, meaning you have to start over.

The second option is to grind down the left side of the wall, which is best
done by doing flip tricks when going over the greenish arch/gateway. When
you're on the left side, and nearing the O, jump sharply to the right to grab
it and then land in a manual on the tennis courts. Ride up the quarter pipe
against the wall and continue the grind.

After starting a grind on the second wall, you'll soon pick up the M. You
should start using a few grind specials now because they will help steady your
balance, which by now might be starting to falter. Hold the grind after the M,
and you'll pick up the B while grinding over another arch. Keep grinding down
the wall and near the end jump off to the right, landing in a manual on top of
the security building, and then jump into a grind on the tan wall leading
towards the clock tower. Hold the grind to the O, and you've got it.

==============================
-Beat Bob's 3 best combos-
==============================

Bob Burnquist is calling you out. Actually, he just wants you to beat a few of
his best combos at his 3 favorite spots. The combos are 20,000, 40,000, and
60,000. Sounds easy, and it is. The locations are great, and that helps.

For the first combo, start out by pulling a nice grab trick with spin on the
vert ramp in front of you. Revert and manual over to the green tables and grind
them. Ollie off the end and head straight for the tall quarter pipe in front of
you. Bust a special, then revert out and you should have it.

For the next combo, you'll be starting very near where the last combo was.
After you drop into the qaurter pipe, head straight for one of the vert ramps
next to the small stair set. Do something like a triple heelflip with spin,
then revert out and manual back over to the quarter pipe you dropped into. If
you have enough speed, bust a special here and then revert to manual back over
towards the basketball courts. This time, grind the left railing of the little
stair set then transfer the grind to the basketball fence, and then to the
tennis net. Jump off from here and you should have more than enough points for
the combo.

The last one takes place around the area where you found the 4 Masters lip
gaps. You'll drop in from the Homecoming 2K2 sign. Head over to the spine in
front of you and a little to the left, and bust either a special or a 540 grab
over it while spine transfering. Revert to manual over to the Fine Arts quarter
pipe and bust a quick special. Revert from this and manual over to the spine
you transfered and do another special or a few flip tricks. Revert for one last
time and you should have it already, but it wouldn't hurt to do a few flatland
tricks to make sure of it.

==============================
-Sick Score: 250,000-
==============================

It's time to graduate. 250,000 isn't too much once you get going, so don't
sweat it. The goal will start you off on the roof, obviously, and there are
plenty enough vert ramps up there to satisfy you. Specials are a must, and of
course, use flatland at the very end and you should have this one in the bag.

-High Score: 50,000-
==============================

Only 5,000 more than the last High Score, so it should be a breeze now. From
the start, turn to the left and bust a grab trick off the quarter pipe lined
with red. Revert to manual from this and roll over to the EMB ledge, with is
the long grey ledge on the right side of the street. Start a grind on the left
side of it, and flip trick over the areas where the concrete is raised and you
have to jump over it to continue the combo. Use special grinds and when you
jump off the end of the ledge you should have more than enough points.

==============================
-S-K-A-T-E-
==============================

S - Skate straight ahead and leap to the right off the quarter pipe to snag the
   S hanging in the air.

K - After getting the S, skate straight ahead and the K should come into view
   over a circular set of stairs. Boneless up them and grab the K.

A - If you look across the street from the K you should see a building with the
   words Pier 18 on it. The A is hanging over the edge of the roof on the left
   side of the buidling, so use the quarter pipe below to launch up and spine
   transfer onto the top of the building to grab the A.

T - Once on the roof of the building, turn to the left and jump over the gap to
   get to the other roof. Start a grind on the grey pipe on the roof, jump to
   the next, and then at the end of this pipe jump hard to the right and land
   a grind on the wire between the lights to grab the T.

E - After getting the T, jump from the wire onto the roof of the next building,
   and then onto the roof of the dark brown building. Once there, you should
   see the E hanging just off the edge of the roof. You can either ollie from
   the roof to get it, or grind the edge of the roof.

==============================
-C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

Slightly harder the College combo, but easy enough to nail with one or two
tries. Start a grind on the EMB ledge in front of you, grinding and jumping all
the way down until you have COM. On the last straight ledge you'll see the B
floating in the air. Just before you get to it, jump hard to the left and you
should not only get the B, but land in a grind on the curving ledge where the O
is. If you miss the B, start over. If you miss the ledge, try to land in a
manual then turn it hard to the left and try to hop onto the edge where the O
is.

==============================
-Find the Messenger's 5 missing packages-
==============================

Poor little bike messanger lost all his packages, and now he wants you to find
them. What's new? Anyway, the packages are easy to find, so let's get to it.

The first package is floating between two quarter pipes against a building.
Avoid the quarter pipes, just ollie up to it to get it. From there, head
towards the quarter pipes lined with red and the second package will be sitting
at the end of the blue rail in between them. Grind it, then turn around and
head towards the street. Skate down the sidewalk on the left side, and grind
the ledge on the tan building. Hop the gap for the third package, and then head
straight for the next tan building in front of you for the fourth package.
After that, use the quarter pipe against the Pier 18 building to get last
package.

==============================
-Axle stall the 3 pier signs-
==============================

Atiba, always wanting a good trick shot, wants you to Axle Stall the 3 pier
signs. The first one is right in front of you. Launch off the qaurter pipe and
press the buttons(right + /\) in the air to land the trick on the sign. From
there, skate all the way down the pier towards the street, then turn left a few
times to get to the other side of the pier. Skate all the way down it, and the
next sign will be on your left. From the second sign skate straight forward and
the last sign will be right in front of you.

==============================
-Feed the 4 Angry Sea Lions-
==============================

Where's the Fire department when you need them? Oh well, this one's pretty
simple. There are 4 Sea Lions ready to eat that poor little fool, and they can
only be distracted by food. If you notice, there are also 4 guys fishing off
the pier in this area. Catching on?

Well, start by skating straight ahead from the start of the goal and when you
see the guy fishing grind or jump over the bench behind him and he'll go back
there and check his tackle box. While he does, turn around and grind the wooden
railing where he was standing and you'll let his catch for the day fall into
the water, distracting one of the sea lions. Now, go to the other side of the
pier where the last three fishermen are and repeat what you did with the first
guy until all 4 sea lions are distracted and the little guy can get to safety.

==============================
-Manual the overhead walkway-
==============================

Don't like manualing? Too bad. This level is filled with really hard manual
related goals, so if you really suck at this, you're going to have a hard time
here. This goal is a whole lot easier than the other manual goals, so practice
this one until you can do it at least 75% of the time.

Roll forward until you see the orange cones on the sides of the walkway. You
have to start the manual before the cones, you don't try jumping as far as you
can and then starting the manual. After the first set of cones the walkway will
slant to the right, and you'll have a long straight path to keep your manual
balanced. Towards the end you will have to slant left, and the cones are only a
few feet away, so stay balanced. You will have slowed down a lot by now,
probably just inching along. Hold it until you passs the cones then hop out.

==============================
-Beat Muska's 3 best combos-
==============================

Yo Dawg it's time to kick it with my main man Muska as we bust some fly phat
combos off the chain! Yeah, that was lame, and so is Muska. Luckily his
"best" combos are weak, so this'll be easy.

At the first spot you only have to get 4,000 points. By now you should be
laughing. I don't even need to give you a line on this one, just grind the rail
and manual for a little while and you've got it.

For the second combo, you need 5,000 points. This guy must be good. You'll
start on a roof next to a pipe, so start a grind on it, then transfer from pipe
to pipe, and then jump off at the end with a few flip tricks before you land.

For the last combo, you need 6,000. Turn around and head for the quarter pipe
against the wall. If your special meter is up, bust a special as you trasfer to
the quarter pipe below. If not, just do nice grab trick or something. Revert
from this into a manual and bust 3 or 4 quick flatland tricks to top this
insane score.

==============================
-Darkslide the waterside railing-
==============================

It's time to learn another special trick and earn another special trick slot.
The nice tourist lady wants to get a shot of you doing a darkslide on the
railing behind her husband. Grind down the curved pipes to get to the quarter
pipe farthest from the couple and get your special meter up. Then just perform
the button combination on the screen to darkslide the rail next to the water
leading back to them. It doesnt matter where on the rail you do the trick, and
it doesn't matter how long it is. Just darkslide, then jump off.

==============================
-Medal in the competition-
==============================

This time you have a full minute to get a big enough score for a medal, so take
advantage of it. The sad thing is, the contest area isn't very good for vert
skaters, so you're going to spend a lot of time grinding and manualing. There
isn't really any great lines here, so just trick as much as you can. Grinding
and flatland are key here, although there are a few good vert ramps you can
trick off of to start a combo or something. You can use the space in the middle
of the contest area for flatland if you want. 100,000 in each run is enough to
get you a gold, but any medal will do.

==============================
-Pro Score: 100,000-
==============================

This should be an easy score for you. The area where you start out at isn't
very good, so I would suggest turning around and heading for the EMB ledge.
Just repeat what you did with the High Score, but add more to it this time.
You can always just search out a new line to work on if you need to. Assign a
couple special flatland tricks and bust some freestyle, if you dare...

==============================
-Save painter Neal-
==============================

There is only one way to unlock this goal. Remember where you got the T in
SKATE? If you don't, find it above in the walkthrough. If you do, just go over
to the area under the wire it was on. Skate past it and you should see a pier
sticking out into the water. Skate down it and talk to the guy painting the
sign. He'll ask you to clean up the bird poo on the railing, so do that by
grinding around the railing with the birds on it. Doing this will cause the
pier to collapse, leaving the painter dangling from the sign with no ladder,
and a hungry shark just waiting for him to drop. Now, you have to save him.

You'll appear right in front of one of the huge concrete balls next to the EMB
ledge. Turn to the right a bit, and ollie up the ledge to where you're next to
the ball. You should see a wire wrapped around the ball that leads to a wooden
stake in the ground. Hop onto the wire, then grind up it to the ball, and
you'll circle it once before a scene shows it rolling down the pier and into
the shark's face. Once again, you're a hero.

==============================
-Race the bike messenger-
==============================

The same punk whose packages you helped find now wants to race you to one side
of the level and back. Without some help, you wouldn't have a chance, but you
can skitch in this game, so who needs a bike?

As you begin, skate forward and slightly to the right. Grab hold to the back of
the yellow mini-van, and if you're not on the left side of it, press L2 and you
will be. Let it take you all the way down towards the Pier 18 building and just
before the street slants to the right, press down to let go. You'll be headed
straight for the arrow you need to get. Turn around as soon as you get it. Grab
hold of any of the cars around you, like the yellow mini-van, for example, and
let it pull you all the way down the street. When the road starts to turn, just
hold on and wait for it to straighten back out before you let go and the last
arrow will be on the far right side of the street.

==============================
-Race to get the camera-
==============================

Here's an interesting goal. You'll need to be really quick, though, and know
your way around the city. Atiba needs his camera back from the guy he lent it
to to get some shots, but you'll have to find him first.

From where you start roll straight ahead and towards the street. When you get
to the street, turn left and head down it towards the Pier 18 building. The
guy is standing right in front of the building just to the right of it. When
you get to him you'll find out he was mugged, so you have to catch the guy who
did it. Turn around on the street and head back down it the way you came, but
staying on the right side. The guy will be standing up in front of the second
bus stop, so skate up to him to get the camera. Now you need some film! Turn
left after the bus stop and hop over the EMB ledge on your way to the huge
building with the 2 curving staircases. Skate between them and jump over the
bench to get the film under the Nokia sign.

Now, just turn around and head back to where you started as quickly as you can.
Just past that is where Atiba is, so give the camera to him.

==============================
-Manual, gap, and manual the setup-
==============================

The second manual goal in the level, but this one is much harder than the first
one. Once again, you'll be getting the goal from Eric Koston, but don't be mad
at him. Using some tables and plywood, he's set up a nice little gap for you to
clear. You have to manual down the wood, jump the gap, land a manual on the
other plywood path, and balance it to the end. Very hard if you're not yet used
to the manual.

Roll forward and ollie onto the wood before the concrete kicker or you'll be
launched too far into the air. Manual down it, watching your balance, and then
ollie over the gap. Land in a manual on the other side and hold it to the end
to get credit for the goal.

If you're still having trouble with the goal, here are a few tips:

Raise your Ollie, Speed, and Manual Balance stats. Empty all the others if you
have to, but raise these as high as you can.

You may also want to turn left from the start, then cut back to the right to
get a better angle on the beginning of the rollercoaster.

==============================
-Nail the tricks they yell out-
==============================

Muska will be the only one calling out tricks today. He wants you to do some
flip tricks he calls out into and out of grinds on the EMB ledge. So you can
just do one flip trick into a grind on the ledge, then flip out with another.
There are around 16 tricks you need to do. Sharpen your skills.

If you're still having problems with this goal and you love to manual, there is
some good news for you. If you flip out of the ledge and land in a manual, then
do another flip trick on the list and it will count! Just keep the combo going
and you can wipe out half the list easily!

Note: The following goals can only be activated once you've completed 90
regular goals and 1 Pro Challenge.

==============================
-Sick Score: 300,000-
==============================

It's time to introduce you to one of, if not THE sickest line in the game! You
can easily get a few million points here, and if you haven't found it already,
just go behind the Pier 18 building and there it is! It's right by where you
Darkslid the waterside railing. There are four pipes real close to each other
between 2 quarter pipes. Just trick off one of the quarter pipes, revert to
manual, grind a pipe, transfer to next three pipes, jump off the last, land in
a manual, bust a trick, then repeat! You'll have the Sick Score before you're
even halfway done with this line!

==============================
-Pro C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

This one is pretty easy compared to the one in College. Start by skating
forward a little bit and using the little concrete kicker in front of you to
start a grind on the edge of the little curving roof of the bus stop for the C.
Jumphard to the right and grind the wire, then jump to the right again to grind
the next wire and get the O. Now, jump back over to the first wire to get the
M. Jump off the wire and manual to the right, and go up the first quarter pipe
lined with red to get the B. Revert to manual from this and turn sharply to the
right. You should see the O on the quarter pipe against the building, so hold
your balance until you get there to finish the Combo.

==============================
-Manual the pad in both directions-
==============================

As the third and final manual goal in this level, it sure is hard! My vote for
the hardest goal in the level, without a doubt. Before you start to manual the
pad, you could get your special up if you want to by doing flatland tricks or
something. It may help you out with your balance.

Jump onto the pad and start the manual, but don't jump too far or it won't
count your manual when you reach the end. Manual down it, keeping your balance
steady, and at the end you should get the gap 'Pad Manual West'. If you get
this gap, you know the manual counted so now you can continue. You can either
turn yourself around with the D-pad, and try to hop onto the Pad again for the
second part of the manual, or you can ride up the quarter pipe in a straight
line because you don't have enough speed to make it all the way up, so when you
loose all your speed you'll automatically turn around and head back toward the
pad again. Hop back onto it and continue the combo down the pad again. By now
you've lost almost all your speed so just focus on your balance and try to keep
the arrow in the middle until you get the 'Pad Manual East' gap and you can
jump off the pad to complete the goal.

==============================
-Do the spine transfer-transfer-
==============================

Here's a cool concept. Transfer between two quarter pipes over an air gap, and
perform a spine transfer while doing it. If it sounds hard, don't worry because
it's not. Air to the right off the quarter pipe in front of you to the quarter
pipe below, and the first spine should be right in front of you. Slant to the
left as you go up the ramp and Spine transfer in the air and if you had enough
speed and angle you'll make it to the other ramp easily.

==============================
-Grind the blockers off the ledges-
==============================

There is no way you can get the blockers off the bottom of the two ledges
unless you distract the cop first, so from the start skate straight ahead and
through the two spines you had to transfer(If you have them turned on) and
you'll see a red alarm on the grey concrete wall. Wallride it, then turn
towards the fountain and skate up close to it. Now turn towards the ledges you
have to get the blockers off of and get up there as fast as you can. Grind the
blockers on the bottom of one of the ledges, then jump off quickly and grind
the blockers on the other ledge down there. By now the cop should be back in a
couple seconds so grind up the ledge or ollie up the stairs to get to the
blockers at the top. Grind up one ledge, turn around, and then grind down the
other ledge to get the last set of evil blockers.

==============================
-High Score: 55,000-
==============================

I have no idea why this high score is the same as the San Francisco high score.
It doesn't make any sense, but let's just go with the flow here. From where you
start, there isn't much around to trick on. I would suggest turning to the left
and heading for the skate park area, but you can get a pretty good combo going
on the quarter pipe behind where you start and the quarter pipe in front of
where you start, although manualing all the way up that slant will kill your
speed. The best thing is to do is use some grind/manual techniques over in the
skate park where the bulldozer is.

==============================
-C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

To start, the C will be on the lip of the half pipe in front of you. Grind down
it to grab the C, and then you can either ollie off and grab the O in the air,
land in a manual, and then hop onto the silver pipe in a grind. Or, you can
grind the lip of the half pipe until it slants tp the right and then jump off
and you'll grab the O and be angled directly at the silver pipe. Either way,
grind this pipe to the end where it slants to the left, then jump up and into
a grind on the edge of the roof where you'll pick up the M, followed by the B.
After the B, jump off the roof and manual straight ahead towards the quarter
pipe next to the fairy. The O is right above it, so just launch up there and
grab it.

==============================
-S-K-A-T-E-
==============================

S - From where you start, use the kicker ramp on the edge of the roof to launch
   up and grab the S floating in the air.

K - After landing from the S, turn to the left and you should see the K
   floating near ground level between and a quarter pipe and a warp tunnel.
   Ride up to it and grab it.

A - From the K, roll straight down that steep incline and use the ramp at the
   end to launch onto the crumbling lighthouse where the A is. Grind it around
   to pick up the A, then hold the grind until it ends to land safely back on
   dry land.

T - Whether you bailed into the ocean or finished the grind after the A, you'll
   still end up in the same spot. From this spot, look over between the
   crumbling building and the tunnel the tour cart drives through. The T is
   floating just above a railing next to the water. Skate up to it the grab
   the T, no need to grind.

E - Follow the narrow trail to the right of the T and stop right after some
   bushes. If you look up you'll see the E floating high in the air. How do
   you get it? Just wallride the side of the building, then wallie into a
   grind on the gutter. Grind it down and ollie off the end as it slants
   upward to get the E. If you missed it because you couldn't get high enough,
   just turn and try again, but get your special up before you do.

==============================
-Take the Alcatraz tour-
==============================

Ranger Ron hates Ranger Bob. You'll soon find that out that as you take the one
minute tour while skitching the back of Ranger Ron's cart. Press up to grab on
to it, and he'll take you through the tunnel and you'll make your first stop as
he asks you to get some birds off a ledge. Just grind the ledge they are on to
the left or right to clear them off, and then grab onto Ranger Ron's cart again
when you're done. He'll then take you up the bottom switchback and when you get
to the top he'll ask you to clear off some beer kegs Ranger Bob left sitting
around. Grind them, then turn around and grab onto his cart again. Now you'll
go all the way up the switchbacks to the cellblock area. There you'll find
Ranger Bob, who seems to be brain washing some little kids. Grind the curving
ledge he's standing on to knock him off, and you're done with the tour!

==============================
-Revert Madness-
==============================

Remeber in the College level where you had to do some spine trnasfers over the
wall for Atiba? Well, he's back again, and this time it's reverts he wants you
to practice. For the first trick, he wants you to just go up a ramp and then
revert when you hit the lip on your way down. Then, he wants you to Revert into
a manual after coming down from the air. Lastly, you must perfrom a lip trick,
then revert from that into a manual. Easy stuff.

==============================
-Dunk 30 tourists-
==============================

Here's a pretty stupid goal, but anything from Bam is stupid. I mean this in a
good way though, he makes a living being stupid. You have to dunk 30 of the
tourists into the water in 30 seconds. This is pretty easy if you don't bail
too much, if any at all. A good way to start it off is too grind the colored
ledge in front of you, hold the grind, and you'll grind up a wire and onto the
ferry. Hold this grind as long as you can and you'll go all the way around the
thing and jump off at the end with around 17 tourists dunked. Now just grind
some of the rails around the starting point of the level to get the last few
vict... uh, I mean tourists :-D

==============================
-Distract the guards-
==============================

This is the first of 2 missions you'll do for this guy. The second one, you
will hate. This one isn't nearly as hard. You have to knock down garbage cans
leading all the way to the fog horn near the top of the level.

The first trash can is directly in front of you. Just skate into it to knock it
down. For the second can, grind the low ledge on the right side of the
switchback. Leap to the left after this and skate over to the ledge on the left
side of the switchback and grind it for the third can. Leap from this ledge and
skate over to the forth can which you can get by grinding around the ledge it's
on as it curves.

After the ledge straightens out, leap off of it to the left and go over to the
ledge where the fifth can is. Grind it off, then leap out of this grind to the
right and get the sixth can. Turn a little to the left and the seventh can will
be tucked away on a pipe leading under the water tower. Grind the pipe to get
the can, and at the end of the grind jump off and then into a grind on the
benches in front of you for can eight.

After grinding the bench, you'll be heading directly towards the ninth can
which is also sitting on a large pipe. Grind the pipe until it's about to end,
then leap forward and land a grind on the railing where you'll get the tenth
can as you slide downwards. Transfer from the railing to the long ledge with
plants growing inside it, and then transfer from it to the next planter. The
eleventh trash bin is on this ledge, so after you get it leap from the end of
the planter onto the railing around the foghorn to set it off.

==============================
-Semi Flip the bulldozer-
==============================

It's that time again. To earn this special trick slot you must perform the
required trick, a Semi Flip, while airing over the bulldozer in the middle of
the skate park area. This is easy enough if you can time it right, so don't
break a sweat.

First off, you must get your special meter up, so do this any way you want.
Now, there are a few things you should know about the Bulldozer. One, The front
of it acts like a moving quarter pipe, while the back is like a moving kicker.
You can use either one of these to do the transfer, but I prefer the kicker.
Also, the dozer will turn to face a different direction every now and then, so
keep track of it. Once your special meter is up, air over it using either the
front or back, and perform the trick in the air, but watch out for the huge arm
that will mess you up should you get in its way.

==============================
-Find the guard's keys-
==============================

The guard in charge of the cell block area has lost his keys, so if you find
them all he'll let you skate inside the cell block. Pretty sweet deal, so let's
get to it.

The first key is in front of you, on top of the planter. Get it, then turn to
the right and grind the tiny ledge that curves to the left to pick up keys 2,
3, 4, 5, and 6. After jumping off the ledge, turn to the right and the seventh
key is floating just above the ground next to the side of the cell block. Get
it, then wallride into a grind on the ledge to the left of you on the side of
the cell block building. Grind down it to gey keys 8, 9, 10, and 11.

Leap straight off at the end and if you've already drained the second pool in
this area, you'll land in the middle of it. Turn to the left, and start a grind
all the way around it to get all but one key. If you didn't drain the pool
before this challenge, just jump straight into the water and you'll end up
right next to the edge if the pool where you can start a grind on it to get the
next four keys. Now, there should be one key left, and it's sitting on the
spine that separates the two pools, so just ride up the spine and you'll have
it before you even get to the top.

==============================
-Medal the competition-
==============================

Another chance to show off! The contest area in this level just happens to be
the skate park area where the bulldozer is, so if you like this area you should
have no problem getting the bronze or the gold. Vert skaters won't find much
here to do, so you can either flatland it, or use a technique I call "rocking."
"Rocking" is a good way to get a good combo going using only a couple special
grinds. Here's how it works:

Skate up to either one of the 4 quarter pipes located on the edges of the
crater-like skate park area. Now turn and look to the left and right of it and
you'll see two wide ledges slanting up and away from you. Start a grind on one
of them, and when you loose your speed going up you'll change directions and
start to grind back down it. Near the bottom, ollie off and land a grind on the
other ledge leading upwards. Catching on? Just keep doing this using special
grinds every time and jump off as you are about to loose your balance.

==============================
-Pro Score: 100,000-
==============================

Again, this is the same score from San Francisco, so just go with it. You'll
start out in the exercise yard, which isn't a very good place to trick, in my
opinion. Just skate to a place you prefer and you'll have the score in less
than a minute, and maybe even in one combo if you've gotten that good.

==============================
-Pull off Mullen's tech trick-
==============================

Here's an easy goal from Mullen. He wants you to pull a little combo across the
roof of the tiny building in front of where you start the level. Piece of cake.

From where you start the goal, roll forward and hit the little kicker ramp in
front of you and do a FS Shove-it, or whatever trick they tell you to do while
in the air. Land in a regular manual(up + down) on the top of the roof, and
hold it all the way down. Jump straight off at the very end and do a kickflip
before you get to the ground to conplete the goal.

==============================
-Ranger Ron's skitch launch-
==============================

This goal is stupidly simple, but mildly fun. Ranger Ron has set up a ramp in
front of the bathroom near the cell block, and he has two records he wants you
to break. 150 feet in height, and 350 in distance. Sounds hard, but with the
speed you get from being pulled by his cart you'll easily have it two tries.

Let's start with height. To beat 150 feet height, you'll need to skitch the
left side of Ranger Ron's cart. So just roll forwards and grab hold, and let
him pull you up the switchback towards the ramp and the bathroom. Right before
you reach the ramp, let go of the cart by pressing down, then hit X while
you're on the ramp to launch out into the skate park. Hold X as soon as you
land and don't turn to the left or right, just keep going straight and when you
hit the quarter pipe you'll be launched straight into the air where you should
beat the record height by about 15 feet.

After that, go for the distance. Simply skitch the right side of the cart this
time, releasing just before the ramp and pressing X to ollie off like last
time. This time, though, you won't be hitting a quarter pipe. Instead, it'll be
a slanted kicker ramp that will launch you straight into the ocean and you
should just barely beat the distance mark.

==============================
-Escape from Alcatraz-
==============================

The crazy convict is back, and this goal is a lot tougher than his first
request. Chances are, you clicked on this walkthrough because you were having
trouble with this very goal, so let's get to it!

From where you start on the high tower, hop into a grind on the rail in front
of you, then grind down the rope for the first item. Ollie from the end of the
rope onto the skylight on the roof of the cell block and grind it for the next
item. After you get it, jump hard to the left and grind the brown pipe for item
three.

As soon as you get it, jump hard to the right and try not to land crooked or
you'll bail. After you land, ride up to the edge of the roof and use it as a
quarter pipe to launch you into the air, but slanting to the right so you can
grab the next three items as you fly. If you miss even one of them, restart the
goal.

Now, after you grab the three in the air, you'll fall downward and into the
double pool area. land in it, then turn to the right and start a grind on the
edge of the pool clockwise from there. When you've gotten all 4 items around
the edge, you'll be facing the next item as it floats on a walkway next to the
pool.

When you're facing it, jump from your grind and skate down the walkway for item
number 11. Skate forward a bit after that and wallride to the right to pick up
item 12. Skate over to the bathroom for the next item, then start a grind on
the rail slanting down on your left. Grind it around for the next item, and
when you jump the gap to the next rail you'll have 15 of 33 itmes.

Continue your grind and jump off the end for number 16. Turn to the right and
gather 17 before you start a grind on the little railing leading downward for
item 18. Continue straight as you jump off the rail to get item 19 as you hit
the quarter pipe, and item 20 while you transfer.

Jump over the pitcher's mound for 21, and start a grind on the middle pipe
leading under the water tower. Quickly jump to the left to grind the pipe on
the left to pick up item 22. Now, when you feel like you're starting to slow
down a bit as you reach the top of the pipe's slant, jump forward as hard as
you can and you'll get the next 3 items as you fall. If you had enough speed
and your jump was good enough, you will land in a grind on a small pipe that
will carry you toward item 26.

Jump from the pipe onto the lip of the quarter pipe in front of you and hold
the grind for item 27. Jump over the crumbling wall as you get to the area
where you did revert madness, and continue the grind on the edge of the quarter
pipe there for item 28. When you're nearing the end of the grind, jump off and
land a grind on the railing in front of you and grind it all the way to get
items 29 and 30.

Now, after getting item 30, jump to the left and land a grind on the big ledge
to get number 31. At the end of the ledge, hold the grind, and you'll grind up
the silver wire for the second to last item. Now, after you get it, jump onto
the ferry. Go to the back end of it where the short quarter pipe is, and skate
up one of the walkways to get to the top deck where the last item is.

==============================
-Nail the tricks they yell out-
==============================

No surprises here, by now you're used to what you have to do. This goal takes
place in the cell block, and you'll have to do all the tricks on the half pipes
in the middle of it. There are around 17 tricks you have to do, and they range
from simple kickflips and tailgrabs to harder stuff like hardflips and
crossbones. Still, it's an easy goal so get it over with.

==============================
-Bullseye Launch-
==============================

With no shortage of stupid ideas coming from Bam, this one is acually fun. Bam
has set up a huge loop he wants you to skate through, and then launch onto a
bullseye floating in the water. You get points depending on where you hit, and
you only need 400 points to pass the goal. 100 points for a bullseye, 50 points
for the yellow, 20 points for the blue, and 10 points for the green. There
really isn't a strategy for getting a lot of points, but the best part of the
ramp to launch from is between the left edge of the ramp and the middle of it.
Just try to keep your position as the loop curves and press X just before the
edge of the launch because jumping at the end will send you over the bullseye
in the center of the target. My record is 820, try to beat it.

regular goals and 1 Pro Challenge.

==============================
-Sick Score: 400,000-
==============================

For the last score of the level, you'll start out on the roof of the cell
block, the primary robot line in Alcatraz. Although not my favorite line in the
game, there is a guy who has a 1 Billion point combo here, so it's decent. Just
use the pipes and the skylights for grinds and the edges of the roof for
quarter pipes. If you've played Canada in THPS3, you know what this is like.
One tip though, Be very quick with your grinds up here. If you grind too long,
when you jump out of it to nail a trick on the edge of the roof your momentum
will carry you over the edge. 400,000 shouldn't take you too long.

==============================
-Pro C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

One of the harder Pro COMBO's in the game, took me a little while to figure it
out. From the start, skate forward and hop into a grind on the railing to your
right. Hold the grind as the rail curves around and after you've gotten the C
jump off the rail to the left and land in a manual. Now, wallride up the wall
to your left and start a grind on the edge of it. Grind it down and launch off
as you reach the top of the curved lamp. You'll get the O as you fly through
the air, so after grabbing it land a grind on the very top of the roof where
the slants meet. Grind it down toward the M, and jump just as you reach the
raised section in the roof to shoot up grab the M in the air.

Now, after getting the M, land in a manual and skate towards that building with
Alcatraz painted on the roof. Hit the quarter pipe under it, angled slightly to
the left, and start a grind on the edge of the roof. Get as much speed as you
can as you grind down it, and at the very end jump off and land a grind on the
rail on the light house. The rail will curve around the light house, so once
you've gotten around to the back of it, the rail will straighten out and aim
you at the B. Jump off the rail, grab the B, and land a grind on the back edge
of the building. When the pipe splits from the roof and starts ot curve to the
right, jump off and start a grind on the wire in the middle of the crumbling
building. At the end of the wire, jump from it towards the O, and you might as
well crash through the window behind it and grind the rail inside for a gap you
don't yet have.

==============================
-Pose for 6 pictures-
==============================

Atiba, always questing for that perfect cover shot, needs you to bust 6 tricks
in 6 different spots while he takes the shots. You'll start out near the
crumbling wall and you have to do a nosegrab while transferring over it. Skate
forward, but curve a little to the right and then cut back to the quarter pipe
because you need to clear the top of the wall for the trick to register so you
need the extra verticle angle. After you land in the pool area, head from there
to the switchbacks. Go up the first one, and once you're to the top of it skate
up the tall quarter pipe next to the bathroom on the right. Get as much air as
you can and do the lip trick on the railing at the very top.

From here, make a U-turn and skate next to the bulldozer area but stay out of
it and keep to the right until you see the orange arrow floating in the air
over a gap in the walkway near the water. Pop Shove-it over the hole, and
continue up the ramp. Keep going straight ahead and into the exercise area.
Turn to the left and transfer the big hole in the wall with a heelflip. Now go
through the warp tunnel behind the bench and when you appear on the roof, go to
the skylight on the right. Grind down the left side of it and you'll be lined
up exactly with the flag pole. Rock to Fakie on the top of it, and you'll only
have one picture left. Now, head over to the warp tunnel you came through. Go
up the ramp on the side of it, and start a grind on the brown pipe. You'll
grind down to the watertower and then you'll be launched into the air.
Bluntside on the wire below you leading to the lighthouse, land it, and you're
through.

==============================
-Manual the Switchbacks-
==============================

For many people, this is one of the hardest goals in the game. If you suck at
manuals, this IS the hardest goal in the game. You have to manual down ALL 3
switchbacks. Sounds impossible, but with practice you'll be doing this goal
just for the fun of it.

From where you start, skate forward a little bit unitl you're almost to where
the switchbacks begin. Ollie as far as you can and land in a manual. Keep your
balance steady and make the first turn very carefully. Stick to the right as
you go down the second switchback, and by now you should be gaining speed
rapidly. Make the turn wide, and try to keep your balance as steady as you can
without hitting anything. If you make it around this turn, the hardest part is
over. Just hang in there until you get the 'MANUALED THE WHOLE THING!!!' gap,
then ollie out of it.

Now, if you're having an insane amount of trouble with this goal, I have a few
tips for you. Firstly, try to keep the balance meter exactly in the middle. The
longer it stays there, the safer you are. Secondly, when you turn, steady your
meter and press the direction you need to turn and hold it. If your balance
starts to slip, quickly adjust it and hold down the turning direction again.

Lastly, when you're adjusting your balance meter, be VERY soft with it. One or
two taps is all you usually need, and don't press them too hard or you'll be
unbalanced in a hurry. Also, avoid the tracks in the middle of the switchbacks.
You can sometimes lose your manual skating over them.

==============================
-Nail the Mega Combo-
==============================

This is another goal that can be a bit tough, but still shouldn't take you too
long. When the goal starts, take some time to look over the list and memorize
the button combinations. Then group them together according to what kind of
trick they are. Next, execute. Try to do more than one trick per air if you
can, and if you're really having some hard times with this goal just keep
restarting until you get a list where the tricks repeat so you don't have to do
as much.

==============================
-High Score: 60,000-
==============================

You could conquer this score in the concrete half pipe in front of you, or
explore the park and find some of the more innovative lines in this level.
Whatever your choice, this score shouldn't give you the slightest bit of
trouble.

==============================
-S-K-A-T-E-
==============================

S - Roll down the slope in front of you and air off the concrete curve to get
   the S hanging in the air.

K - Continue down the twisting half pipe after getting the S, and press 'up'
   when rolling up the dead end to launch yourself out of it and over to the
   'kidney bowl'. The K is resting on some seats next to the bowl.

A - Navigate over to the pink bowl on the other side of the snake run. Once
   again, you'll have to press 'up' and launch yourself over the little hut
   next to the bowl to get the A hanging over it.

T - Get out of the snake run and head over to the street course. The T is on
   the far side of the area, so just skate over to it and ollie/grind to get
   it.

E - Now, skate over to the big wooden half pipe in the corner of the level.
   Coming from where you got the A to where you got the T, it'll be on your
   right. The E is hanging just above the lip of the far side of it, so grab
   it in mid-air and you're done!

==============================
-C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

This one is a good bit tougher than the first two, so don't get frustrated if
you don't nail it in the first few tries. Start the combo by grinding the ledge
in front of you where the C is. Manual from the C to the quarter pipe under the
O. Spine transfer it, grabbing the O while in the air, then revert to manual
over to the wooden rail. Grind it to get the M, manual to the next rail, grind
it, transfer to the blue ledge for the B, and then to the red rail for the O.

==============================
-Medal the street competition-
==============================

This is the first part in a two part competition. This being the street part,
you're confined to the street park area of Kona. From where you start, skate
down and flip trick to a grind on the wooden rail to the left of you. Manual to
the quarter pipe straight ahead of you, and spine transfer it while doing a
grab trick with spin. Revert to manual over to the red ledge and special grind
it. Jump off, manual to the quarter pipe, and if you have enough speed bust a
fast special and then end your combo. Now just nail a few more combos of equal
or lesser value and you should have 99's across the board.

==============================
-Find the 4 missing rental gear items-
==============================

You really should start charging for services like this. In any case, here are
the locations of the missing equipment:

Helmet #1 - Skate down the walkway you start on, and into the street park. Go
           straight across it and you should see the helmet floating in the
           air over a tall quarter pipe.

Knee pads - Behind the large wooden half pipe in the corner of the level.

Helmet #2 - From the knee pads, skate up the slope and into the long twisting
           half pipe that slightly resembles the snake slalom. The helmet
           should be to the right, at the dead end.

Elbow pads - Behind the observation deck near the concrete half pipe. From
            where you start the goal, turn around and head in the opposite
            direction past the pink pool if you don't know where the
            observation deck is.

==============================
-Show off for the locals at the mini spine-
==============================

Don't let the name fool you; this is basically 'nail the tricks they yell out',
but with a name change. Whatever you call it, it's still a piece of cake. This
time you have to bust the tricks they call out as you transfer the spine.
You'll be dealing with kick and flip tricks, and using only the left, right,
up, and down directional buttons. You'll have to nail two tricks per air to get
this one, and if you're short on time near the end remember that you can link
the spine transfers into a combo after the time runs out.

==============================
-Snake Run Slalom-
==============================

This is probably one of the trickier goals in this level. You have to slalom
the famous snake course three different times, with increasing difficulty. Be
patient with this one, it's not that hard.

For the first run, just roll down it easy and get a feel for how to turn. You
won't have to turn really sharp because the cones you have to pass through
aren't too close together.

The second run gets harder, but only slightly. A few more sets of cones have
been added, but all you have to do is hold down the left or right directional
button right as you pass the cones and you'll have a good angle on the next
set.

For the last run, you'll have to hold down the left and right buttons, along
with the down button to be able to cut sharp enough to make the turns. The
cones are really close so holding down the buttons a few feet before the cones
is a good idea. It may take you several tries before you're used to the
placement of the cones, but you'll get it.

==============================
-Save the birds on the power lines-
==============================

To clear the birds off the power lines for the local bum, you have to hold a
lip trick on the lines for about 4 seconds before they fly away. There are
seven total, and you can tell where they are by looking at the lip of the half
pipe. Everywhere you see bird poo, sure enough, there's a bird sitting on a
wire directly above it. Let the fecies guide you, and try not to go up the ramp
with a slant or you'll end up grinding it and wasting time.

==============================
-Misty flip over the big hut gap-
==============================

Here is a challenge and a chance to learn a new trick. Like the name suggests,
you will be misty flipping over a big hut, and you will need a lot of air to do
it. You have to go from the pink bowl to the snake run, and you can't touch
the roof of the hut.

I suggest you edit your stats first and make sure your air and hangtime stats
are maxed out. Start by getting your special meter all the way up. Next, make
sure you are peefectly lined up with the hut. Now, hold down X as you approach
the edge of the bowl. Press up three times and hold it the last time, releasing
X the third time you press it. This should launch you into the air and over the
hut. Quickly press left, down, cirlce to perform the trick, and with a safe
landing the goal is complete.

==============================
-Impress Ollie and the bums with combos-
==============================

This is just like the goal in San Fran where you had to beat Muska's three best
combos, except now you're trying to impress a bunch of drunken bums and not
Muska. I for one prefer the bums. Anyway, the combos are still weak, so just do
whatever you want with them. 10,000, 11,000, and 12,000 point combos are
laughable at this point in the game, so nail them with style.

==============================
-Pro Score: 125,000-
==============================

See how good you are and try to get the score in one combo. There aren't many
lines I can recommend in this level, but there are a few small robot lines in
the street park if you can link two quarter pipes with a rail or ledge.

==============================
-Collect the skate camp waivers-
==============================

This is a tightly timed goal. You can't just skate around gathering them as you
see them. There is a line you have to follow, just like the goal in Alcatraz
where you had to help the guy escape.

When you start, skate forward and start a grind on the edge of the grey pool.
After you collect the third waiver, ollie off. Skate over and grab the fourth
one near the pink pool, and without grinding the edge of it, get the fifth and
sixth waivers that are also by the edge of the pool.

After getting the sixth waiver, start a grind on the edge of the snake run.
You'll collect waivers seven, eight, and nine doing this. When you get number
nine, ollie out of the grind and skate out of the snake run and to the path
that leads to the skate park. Start a grind on the left handrail to get number
ten.

Grind to the very end of the rail, then jump hard to the left and grind the
ledge with the eleventh waiver. Jump off and skate down the sidewalk to get
waiver number 12 on the right. Now look to the right and you'll see the
thirteenth floating in the air over the wall of quarter pipes. Use the roll-in
to launch up and grab it, and land a grind on the wooden fence. Hold the grind,
jumping the little gaps until you get number fourteen. For the last one, ollie
out of your grind and manual up the quarter pipe in front of you to snag it.

==============================
-Medal the vert competition-
==============================

For the second part of the competition in Kona, you're only allowed to use the
wooden half pipe to get your scores. Equip yourself with your favorite special
moves and go at it! But be careful not to end a trick outside of the half pipe,
because if you do your points will not count.

==============================
-Ollie the magic bum 5x-
==============================

If you've played Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, you've met this guy. As if Kona
didn't need another bum, this one can levitate. It's a little hard to find him
sometimes, but I'm here to help.

1 - Skate forward from where you start and turn to the right when you pass the
   quarter pipe. He's floating next to the curving blue ledge.

2 - Turn left after you ollie him the first time, and go past the wooden half
   pipe, and past the quarter pipe next to the dumpster to find him.

3 - Skate up the hill, keeping to the left and near the fence. When you see the
   set of wooden quarter pipes and roll-ins on your right, you'll see him
   floating right behind it between the quarter pipes and the support wall
   made of wood.

4 - Skate now to the end of the snake run, when the slalom ends. There's a
   large concrete extension on the side of the pool, and he's right behind it.

5 - After finding him the fourth time, talk the path to the street course. Go
   all the way across it and to the tall quarter pipe. He's between it and the
   smaller one.

==============================
-Show off your tech on the manual box-
==============================

Another manual goal, but this one is a piece of cake. For the first trick you
just have to manual down the box. No problem. Then, you have to kickflip into a
manual and hold it all the way down. For the last trick, you have to kickflip
into a manual, roll down the box, then heelflip off. Easy stuff.

==============================
-50k combo the bowl-
==============================

You have to pull a 50,000 point combo in the kidney bowl, but without hitting
the bottles placed in the middle of it. Not as hard as it sounds, so just throw
down a few specials and stay in the shallow end of the pool and this one is in
the bag.

|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|

Note: The following goals can only be activated once you've completed 90
regular goals and 1 Pro Challenge.

==============================
-Sick Score: 500,000-
==============================

By now you should have acquired the skills necessary to complete this score
without a line from me. Just take advantage of the numerous grinding lines
throughout the park and this one shouldn't take long.

==============================
-Pro C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

From the start, roll forward and start a grind on the left edge of the snake
run for the C. As soon as you get it, jump hard to the right and land in a
manual. Skate up the right side where it starts to curve and catch the O in the
air. Revert to manual from here and grind down the left side of the snake for
the M. Shortly after getting the M, just before the grind makes a U-turn, ollie
off and land in a manual in the middle of the run. Skate up the curving bank
and snag the B. Revert to manual from it and roll to the very end of the snake
where the O is waiting.

==============================
-King of Kona-
==============================

This goal appears vey hard at first glance if you haven't yet built up your
skills in the game. Hopefully you have, so it should really only take a few
tries for this one. You have 2 and a half minutes to score 1,000,000 points in
5 different areas, each of them great for scoring big.

You'll start in the street park area. I'd suggest you just expand on the line I
gave you for the street competition, and you should have no problem getting
enough points here.

From there you'll go to the Kidney bowl. Not much to do here, just throw down
some vert tricks and try to be at about 500,000 when you move to the next area.

The next area is the wooden half pipe. Like the kidney bowl, there's not much
to do besides vert, so I hope you've gotten good at the revert.

Now we're at the snake run, and this is probably the best of all 5 spots when
it comes to vert tricks. Roll down the run and when you turn left, you are now
in an awesome half pipe. The sides are shorter than any other pipe, so you get
a lot more air time, meaning more and bigger tricks.

The last spot you'll hit is the crusty half pipe, or what I've referred to as
the concrete half pipe. You shouldn't have too much more until 1 million
points, if you haven't broken it already, so just string together some casual
tricks to become the King of Kona.

==============================
-Show off for the locals at the tombstone-
==============================

This time you're showing off at the tombstone in the pink bowl. You'll be doing
lip tricks of the standard and diagonal variety, and you'll need to do 2 tricks
back-to-back to prevent time from running out. It's usually better to start
with a diagonal lip trick, then ollie from this and quickly perform a regular
lip trick. Not a hard challenge at all.

==============================
-Find and get all 7 channel gaps-
==============================

Channel 1 - From where you start, skate forward and all the way to the back of
           the skate park. There you'll find 2 roll-ins with a quarter pipe on
           each end. Transfer from one to the other for this channel gap.

Channel 2 - After landing from the first channel, skate over to a section of
           quarter pipes and roll-ins set up like this: QP - R - QP - R - QP.
           Transfer from any one of the quarter pipes to another one for the
           gap.

Channel 3 - From the second channel gap, turn around and ride over to the other
           side of this wall of ramps. Facing it, look to the right and you
           should see 2 quarter pipes right next to each other, with one being
           shorter than the other. Launch from the taller one to the left and
           land on the quarter pipe.

Channel 4 - Now, get your special bar up if it isn't already. Now find the 2
           red ledges in the center area. Find the shorter one. Grind it down
           the right side, jump off, then use the quarter pipe in front of you
           to launch hard to the left and clear the 2 wide roll-ins for the
           hardest channel gap.

Channel 5 - Head over to the wooden half pipe and ramp across the single
           roll-in.

Channel 6 - In the shallow area of the kidney bowl, air across the small
           opening.

Channel 7 - At the top of the snake run you'll see 3 wooden roll-ins with a
           quarter pipe on each end. Transfer from one side to the other, and
           your quest to nail all 7 channel gaps is now complete.

==============================
-High Score: 65,000-
==============================

You can look around the level and try to find a few lines to work with, or
skate forward and use the large bowls floating in the water for some vert
tricks. Very easy.

==============================
-S-K-A-T-E-
==============================

S - Skate forward, past the crane, then turn right and then left again until
   you can see the S floating in the air. Roll up the ramp near it, press R2
   in the air to land on top of the quarter pipe, then grind the rail the S is
   on.

K - Continue down the rail and ollie off just before it stops. Look around
   until you see a gap with water and 3 ropes stretched across it. Grind down
   the center one and when you get to the other side skate forward until you
   have a large quarter pipe on your left and a wall in front of you. Ride up
   the quarter pipe and collect the K in the air. Go straight up the middle or
   it may take a few tries.

A - From the K, roll forward from the quarter pipe and through the gap between
   the two ramps. Turn left as soon as you do and hit the quarter pipe on the
   wall angled to the right. Press R2 in the air to straighten yourself out
   and land on the roof. Now skate down the roof toward the A and use the
   wooden kicker ramp to grab it in the air.

T - When you land after getting the A, continue to skate in that direction.
   You'll see 2 quarter pipes in front of you near the water. Skate up the
   left one, angled to the right, and grind the rail above it. Jump off at the
   very end and land a grind on the beam where the T sits.

E - Drop down as soon as you get the T. Look around until you see the hanging
   blue container. Now, skate out onto the platform over the water with a
   quarter pipe on the far side. Get some speed with the ramps and transfer
   into the container for the E.

==============================
-C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

Skate forward and use the tiny kicker against the trailer to launch up and into
a grind on the edge of it for the C. As soon grind the trailer, you'll slant
sharply to the left, then straighten out. As soon as the grind straightens out
again, ollie off and land a grind on the edge of the wooden ramp. Ollie off at
the top and grab the O in the air. Land a grind on the edge of the next trailer
for the M. When you get the M, jump hard to the right and grind the rail for
the B. Jump off the rail and land in a manual on the roof, then ollie off and
grab the O as you glide.

==============================
-Varial kickflip the shack water gap-
==============================

Skate forward to the edge of the roof and use the little quarter pipe to
transfer to the right and into the hole in the roof. You'll land on another
quarter pipe down there. Use your speed and the wooden kicker to soar over the
water and nail the trick before you land on the other side.

==============================
-Gap across the suspended containers-
==============================

The fact that Neversoft thought this goal would pose even the slightest
challenge frightens me. This doesn't even deserve to be a goal, much less a
goal in the fifth level of the game! Anyway, just roll forward and Spine
Transfer. Do this 4 times to complete the goal, sucka.

==============================
-Slap the buoy-
==============================

This one's not too hard, and the time limit isn't as strict as it looks. When
you drop in, skate forward and transfer over the spine in front of you. Now,
angle yourself for the top of the floating buoy, and ollie off the kicker ramp
toward it. Grind the top, and when you land on the other side keep going
straight and hit the quarter pipe. Come down from it, aim for the top of the
buoy, and grind it. Do this 5 times and you'll complete the goal.

==============================
-Welder lunch delivery-
==============================

This goal has a really tight time limit. From the start, skate towards the
quarter pipe under the welder, but aim just a little to the left of him. Hit
the quarter pipe angled to the right and grind the ledge under the welder to
deliver his lunch. Hop the gap and grind the rail you land on. Now, jump REALLY
hard to the left and grind that ledge for welders 2 and 3. At the end, jump off
and land in a manual. Roll straight forward, not turning to the left or right
at all, and you'll give the 4th welder his lunch. Ollie over the gaps between
roofs, land in a manual, and skate down to the last welder.

==============================
-Collect the Rivets-
==============================

Remember when you had to help that guy escape from Alcatraz? Remeber how you
hated that goal? Well, this goal is the spitting image of it. BUT, it is
easier. You only have to collect 21 rivets, and your not aiding in the escape
of a convicted felon but helping out some dock workers. Joy.

Start by skating forward and grinding the rope across the water for rivet 1.
Continue forward and grind the skinny ledge for rivet 2. Hop the gap to the
next ledge and grind it for rivets 3 and 4, then hop another gap and grind the
last ledge for rivet 5.

Now, skate over to the floating bowls and start a grind on the left edge for
rivet 6. Jump hard to the left and grind the concrete ledge for rivets 7, 8,
and 9. Hop the small gap and continue the grind for 10 and 11. Get number 12 as
you cross the street to the quarter pipe, and 13 at the top of it.

From rivet 13, skate over to the quarter pipe across the street. Angle to the
right and grind the rail above it for rivets 14 and 15. Jump the gaps, and
ollie off the last rail for rivet 16. Land in a manual and grind the quarter
pipe in front of you for rivets 17 and 18. Ollie from the end of the grind to
the ledge with rivet 19, jump to the left and grind the rail for 20, then
manual into the freight container for rivet 21.

==============================
-Dog chase-
==============================

There's nothing like being chased by a pack of rabid dogs to get the blood
flowing! Start by riding forward and grinding the ledge right next to the
little hump to collect the 1st bone. Jump the small gap and grind the next
ledge for bone number 2. Jump the next small gap and grind the last ledge. At
the very end, jump hard to the right and grind the lip of the quarter pipe for
the 3rd bone. Ollie off and skate over to the 4th bone. Grind the rail it's on,
then when you ollie off skate directly forward, not turning at all in either
direction. Hit the little quarter pipe and the angle will launch you straight
at the last bone.

==============================
-Inventory the freight containers-
==============================

This goal can be hard if you go at it randomly tagging the containers. I have
come up with what I think to be the fastest way to complete this goal, so just
follow my lead and this one is like cake.

Skate forward and directly into the open container. Roll up the quarter pipe
and spine transfer into the next container to tag both of them. Spine transfer
into the next container for number 3. At the end of this container, transfer to
the left and into the container below. Skate to the end and spine transfer into
the next container for tags 4 and 5.

Now, turn to the left and skate over to the next row of containers. Roll into
the open container and spine transfer to the next one, but do a flip trick in
the air. When you land you'll have 7 tags. Noe skate forward and boneless up as
high as you can, then spine transfer into the very tall stack of containers for
8 tags. Transfer to the right at the end of the container, and continue
straight ahead and spine transfer again for tags 9 and 10, and then one last
time with a flip trick for number 11.

U-turn left, and look up. You'll see a green container you haven't yet
inventoried. Lip trick on it for number 12. Turn left after your lip trick and
you'll see 2 tunnels with a quarter pipe between them. Ride up it, flip trick,
then come down. Now, look at the 2 tunnels and grind the in the middle of the
right tunnel. Continue forward after the tag and into the next tunnel. This
time, don't grind the rail, just do a flip trick in it for tag number 15.
U-turn left and flip trick in this tunnel, then U-turn right and flip trick in
that tunnel for 17 tags. U-turn left for the last time, and flip trick in this
container. Skate forward to the second tunnel and trick in it. Now turn around
and go up the unmarked ramp and spine transfer to the other side. Turn around,
go up the ramp and grind the green container for the last one.

==============================
-Pro Score: 150,000-
==============================

The best place in this entire level for scoring points is the rails the little
train rides on. They're right in front of where this goal starts you off at.
From where you drop in to start the level, you'll see a track directly in front
of you, and one to the left of it. Grind the track directly in front of you,
then jump onto the rail before the track curves and grind it, then jump onto
the next section of track and grind this all the way down to the quarter pipe.
Trick off it, then grind the rail back down to where you started. It's an easy
way to score loads of points.

==============================
-High C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

For some odd reason, this level has 3 COMBO goals. I don't know why, but I
certainly don't mind considering these goals are usually pretty fun.

Skate straight forward from the starting point. Hit the quarter pipe and launch
to the right. Start a grind on the rail, then jump from the rail to the steel
beam while you collect the C floating in the air. Jump off at the end and land
in a manual in the bowl. Manual over to the left side of it and start a grind
to get the O. When the grind slants right jump off and land in another manual
in the next bowl. Manual over to the spine and transfer it for the M. Revert to
manual from the transfer and roll over to the B. Grab it, and continue to
manual to where the O is. Watch out for the crane and hold your balance and
this goal shouldn't be too hard.

==============================
-Bust tricks across the rooftop gap-
==============================

The tricks are starting to get a little harder, but it's still a pretty simple
goal. This time you'll be doing flip tricks and grab tricks of the diagonal
variety with an occasional fingerflip between two rooftops high above the
ground. Don't try this at home. It's pretty hard to get two tricks off in one
leap because you don't really have enough time. If you have problems with
diagonal tricks, and you normally use the d-pad, here's a tip: use the analog
stick for those tricks! I'm a d-pad man myself, but sometimes it just doesn't
cut it and the analog sticks have great accuracy.

==============================
-Heelflip FS Invert the freight container-
==============================

Another level, another special trick slot. Get your special meter up and launch
up to the brown container hanging over the water. Do the lip trick and hold it
for as long as you can. You don't have to wait for the crane to stop or
anything, so as soon as you've passed from the first bowl to the second bowl
drop down and land the trick. Having your lip balance stat maxed out would be a
good idea.

==============================
-Competition: Medal the barges-
==============================

The barges are what I've been referring to as the "floating bowls". Same thing,
really. This competition is pretty boring because you can't leave the barges
and they're pretty weak with all the added competition stuff. Vert and flatland
are really your only options here. 150,000 points is enough to get you a gold
medal, so blow the other skaters away.

==============================
-Manual combo the train-
==============================

A lot of people have trouble with this goal. Not because it's hard, but because
it doesn't register for them. It's always worked for me, so maybe it's the way
they do it.

When you drop in for the goal, stop right where you are. Watch the train as it
draws closer. When the timer hits 27 seconds, skate toward it. Ollie onto it,
manual, ollie, manual, ollie, manual, ollie, manual, ollie off and you should
have it. Simple, really. If it doesn't register try staying on each part of the
train for as long as you can so the game has time to recognize your trick.

regular goals and 1 Pro Challenge.

==============================
-Gap the suspended containers-
==============================

Don't think this one will be as easy as the first one. Not a chance! Skate
forward from where you start and into the open container. Spine transfer into
it, then spine transfer into the next container. Now transfer to the left and
into the hanging brown container. Stick close to the side of the container
farthest from the container you'll be transferring into. Get your special meter
up, and when you come down from a trick skate across to the other end of the
container. Just before you get there, cut sharply to the left/right, towards
the other container. For example, let's say the side of the container farthest
from the other container happens to be on your left. Cut sharply to the right
and exit the container on a diagonal slant on the right side of it. This should
be the right angle to make the gap. It would also be wise to raise your air,
hangtime, and speed stats.

If this description confuses you, I apoligize. You can email me with any
questions you have with this goal at playstman[at]aol[dot]com.

==============================
-Sick Score: 600,000-
==============================

This really is a boring level when it comes to good scoring lines. As with the
Pro Score, I would suggest you use the train track robot line I described
earlier. If your not a big fan of robot lines, I'm sure a good search will
warrant a few lines good enough to top this score.

==============================
-Pro C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

Start off by grinding the white rail to your left. It'll turn sharply to the
right then launch you into the air. Grab the C and land a grind on the top of
the roof. Hop off at the end of the grind and manual over to where you see the
O. Press up to launch yourself off of the roof. If you clear the spine below
you just land in a manual. If you don't, land a grind on the spine then manual
after the grind ends. Manual straight forward toward the M, and grind the ledge
in front of it. Jump the gap for the M, grind the next ledge, then jump off and
land in a manual. Roll straight forward and up the rusty quarter pipe. Spine
transfer over the top, and revert to manual from this. Now, slant to the left
and hit the next quarter pipe at an angle. Get the B in the air, and if you hit
the quarter pipe with enough angle you should come down in a rusty half pipe.
Revert to manual and skate over to the other side of the half pipe for the O.

==============================
-Rat Race: Catch the rat-
==============================

Catching this bastard rat is actually pretty hard, so don't give up on it. When
you drop in head straight for the quarter pipe against the building. Hit it and
grind the yellow ledge above it to the left. Jump from ledge to ledge as you
make your way down, hot on the heels of the rat. Grind the last ledge, another
yellow one, and then hop onto the roof. Continue skating forward toward the
water. When you're almost to the edge, grind the rusty beam on your right.
It'll curve left then straighten out, and you'll be launched onto the next
roof.

Grind the edge of the roof, ollie over the catwalk after you turn left, then
jump into a grind on the yellow rail sticking out of the building. As soon as
you land the grind, jump off again and grind the grey beam in front of you.
Grind it around then jump onto the edge of the roof in a grind. Avoid another
catwalk and grind the edge of the roof until the grind ends. Now, use the
quarter pipes on the edge of the roof to transfer into the hole in the roof,
like you did when you had to varial kickflip across the water. Land on the
lower quarter pipe, launch over the water, and nail that rat to finish off this
fast-paced goal.

==============================
-Lip trick transfer-
==============================

Grind the rail in front of you to gain a litle extra speed. Hit the quarter p
ipe and plant a lip trick on the rail sticking out of the crane. You have to
land on the quarter pipe spo wait until you're above it before you abort.

==============================
-High Score: 75,000-
==============================

By now you should be good enough to easily get this score in one combo. There
are a lot of great street lines to be found in this level, so snoop around a
bit before you shatter this goal.

==============================
-S-K-A-T-E-
==============================

Before we start, let me just say that this is the most conflicted SKATE in the
entire game. Usually all the letters are in a sort of line that makes it easy
for you to go from one to the other. Not so in this case. It confused me at
first because after the K, there really is no clear order in which you should
get the last three letters. But, for the sale of good spelling I'm going to
show you the quickest way to get them in the proper order.

S - Skate forward and into the half pipe on the left side of the stairs. Hit
   the far side of it slanted to the left, away from the stairs. Grind the
   edge of the building's roof and then hop into a grind on the flag pole.
   You'll grind from the flag pole around a curving ledge and then onto a
   second flag pole. Jump from here onto the brownish ledge, and then onto the
   wire the S is floating on.

K - Get to the street after you have the S. Skate down the road that leads away
   from the S, between a monument and another monument with scaffolding on it,
   and when you see the K look to your right and you should see a quarter pipe
   against that big brown building. Hit it angled to the left and grind the
   ledge above it for the K.

A - When the ledge the K is on straightens out, hop off and onto the bridge.
   Skate down it until you see the railings on your right leading downward.
   You'll see the A sitting on a string of lights over the water. Ollie from
   the walkway with the rails to where the A is. It's close enough so that you
   should get the A and then land a grind on the lights.

T - Jump off of the lights when you get the A. Continue in the direction you
   were grinding and into that little corner. Now, ride up the ramp you see on
   you right. Go all the way down the path and hit the short quarter pipe
   against the edge of the walkway to get some speed. Come down from it, and
   ride straight across to the quarter pipe against the large building. Spine
   transfer at the top and you'll be in a very large bowl. Turn to the right
   and spine transfer out of this bowl and into a half pipe. Skate across the
   half pipe and spine transfer into another very large bowl. Now turn left
   and head toward the water and the edge of the bowl. Once there, if you look
   to your left and into the air you'll see the T. Now turn around and hit the
   quarter pipe on the side of the bowl farthest from the T. Come back down
   toward the T and press up on the quarter pipe to launch out and into the T.

E - Now, if you landed in the half pipe and not the bowl, look at the railing
   on your right. Follow it back behind the bowl you just launched from. Start
   a grind on it before the corner. You'll transfer to a wire that will lead
   you to a ledge where the E is. Continue down and wallride for the E.

==============================
-C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

Grind the ledge in front of you for the C. Shortly after getting it, jump to
the left and grind that ledge. Jump off at the end and land in a manual. Manual
past the bus stop on your right and straight for the ledge where the O sits.
Grind it and jump off at the end landing in another manual. Head for the
quarter pipe against the building in front of you. Angle to the right as you
hit it and grind the ledge above it for the M. Hold the grind, and when you're
on the wire jump into a special grind to help out your balance a bit. Snag the
B then stay with the grind as the ledge curves. If your balance meter is
completely wacky and you're about to fall, ollie out of it and land a manual on
that ledge. Get to the O at the very end then jump out of the combo.

==============================
-Wallride tag 5 buses-
==============================

The title says it all. Just ride around the city's streets looking for the big
red buses. You can't tag the same bus more than once, so make sure it registers
every time you tag one.

==============================
-Grab 5 coppers hats-
==============================

Copper 1 - Directly in front of where you start.

Copper 2 - After the first copper, continue forward and turn right. Ride up the
          slope then turn left when you get to the street. Stay on the left
          side of the street and you should see the second copper on the
          sidewalk as you skate.

Copper 3 - Continue down the sidewalk after the second copper. Cross the street
          when the pavement turns red. The next copper is patrolling the
          sidewalk on the other side.

Copper 4 - At the top of the level where the bus stop is. Skate up the sloping
          street after the third copper and look on the sidewalk across the
          street from the red bus stop.

Copper 5 - Keep riding down the street the fourth copper was on, and when you
          see a tiny alley that slants downward, go into it. Just after
          glassed in area that resembles a kitchen you'll see the last copper
          on you left.

==============================
-Land a 100,000 point combo-
==============================

By now you should have already landed combos larger than this, so just find a
good line or if you're good at flatland like I am then go ahead and use all
your skills at that to top this goal.

==============================
-Rodney's flatland training-
==============================

This is a ridiculously easy goal if you're already familiar with flatland
tricks, which you probably are. To start with he wants you to do a manual, then
land it. Then, you have to go from a manual to a pogo. Still easy. After that,
you have to manual, go into a pogo, then perform a wrap around. Lastly, you
must perform a flatland combo over 8,000 points. Pitiful. I think mine was
about 200,000.

==============================
-Do a Japan/Crossbone over the fountain-
==============================

There are two types of skaters in the game. One type can do a Japan, and the
other type does a Crossbone instead. Either way, depending on your skater
you'll have to do one of the tricks over the two fountains in the area behind
the bus stop. When the goal begins, turn around and use the quarter pipe to get
a little speed. Come down from it and hit the edge of the fountain straight on.
It'll act like a kicker and send you over the fountain with enough to air to
easily perform the trick. Once you're done with the first fountain move over to
the next one and repeat the trick. Remember to use the flat edges of the
fountain to avoid failure.

==============================
-Race the coppers around London-
==============================

Once again, you find yourself flat against your board in a luge related goal.
This time you're racing the coppers in a two lap course around the city. I'm
not going to describe the entire course to you, because that'd simply be a
waste of time. But, I will give you a few tips.

The first one, and it should be obvious, is to avoid the barriers and the bails
of hay that serve to close off the course. Hitting the hay with enough force
will send you off your board and therefore ending your run. While the yellow
barriers serve to only slow you down a bit, hit too many of them and you'll
find yourself too far behind the police to catch up.

Additionally, the number of obstacles on the course doubles for the second lap,
meaning you'll still need to keep an eye out as you near the end of the race.
Also, stay away from the cops. If they run you over the goal will end, and if
you hover by their side they'll extend a lofty kick to you stomach to remind
you who's boss. Keep all of this in mind and it shouldn't take you too long.

==============================
-Free Stompy! Destroy the traps-
==============================

There are 4 traps set up around the city to stop the runaway elephant, and you
have to be quick when you destroy them because Stompy is running straight at
them and has no intentions of stopping. To destroy the traps, you have to
grind the wires that anchor the traps down. Just look for one of the concrete
slabs with wire sticking out of it and grind the wire up to the top of the trap
to release it. Then just skate over to the other side of the trap and grind
that wire to detroy it completely.

Trap 1 - Skate forward and up the walkway. The trap is right in front of you.

Trap 2 - Further down the road from the first trap, and the end of the bridge.

Trap 3 - In front of the bus stop.

Trap 4 - On the red pavement.

==============================
-Pro Score: 175,000-
==============================

Well, by now you really shouldn't need help with any of the scores aside from
the Sick Scores, which can get pretty big. So, just do whatever you want for
this score.

==============================
-Ghetto Tag the SB light line-
==============================

If grinding isn't your thing, you might have a little trouble with this one.
You have to grind the entire South Bank light line, and it's no easy task. You
will definitely need your rail balance stat all the way up if it isn't already.
Start by transferring the spine in front of you, but with a few tricks to get
your special meter up. Hit the quarter pipe and grind it to the left. Jump from
the quarter pipe to the lights and begin your grind. Don't forget to hop the
gap between lights just before the bridge and continue the Ghetto Tag grind on
the other side. Don't feel bad if it takes you several tries on this one,
because it's no easy task.

==============================
-Skitch the police bike-
==============================

Well, this goal isn't very hard. You really only need to focus on two things
while you're attempting it. Your balance and the cops. You see, as you're
skitching the police bike around the city London, depending on what side you're
holding onto, one of the cops will try and knock you off of the bike. You'll
know this is about to happen when one of them turns around and looks at you.
That's your que to switch to the other side of the bike by using either the L2
and R2 buttons or the R1 and L1 buttons. While you're trying to avoid their
punches, you also need to keep you balance meter in the corner of your eye.
Although it isn't as shaky as rail balance, if you let it get out of hand it
can be very bothersome if you're trying to complete this goal.

==============================
-Nail the combos as they come up-
==============================

In an attempt to make this goal seem harder, you're now given two tricks at a
time that must be done together in one combo. You can either do them both in
one air, or you can connect them with a revert and manual. You'll be dealing
with flip and grab tricks of the regular and diagonal variety. Still, the goal
is as easy as it's ever been.

==============================
-Land the flatland tricks as they appear-
==============================

The Shipyard had 3 COMBO goals, and London has 2 'Nail the tricks...' goals.
Kinda odd, but at least this one is flatland. As usual, it's way too easy, so
if you want a bit of a challenge wait until there is only 10 seconds left on
the clock, so that all of the tricks have appeared. Now, do all of them in one
combo. It's not that hard, but harder than doing it one trick at a time.

==============================
-Medal in the competition-
==============================

If Neversoft didn't think you needed to know how to flatland before you came to
London, they certainly do now. An entire competition dedicated to flatland. You
only need about 150,000 points for a Gold, and if you aim for any less you
should be smited with a soggy log. Or worse, a sweaty corn dog.

You can use the half pipe where you start out at, or you can take it to the
streets. Just find a way to get it done.

==============================
-Pro C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

When you start, skate straight ahead. Literally, don't move a fraction of an
inch to either side. Hit the quarter pipe and you'll get the C in the air. Come
down on the quarter pipe up there and revert to manual. Manual to the edge of
the roof and grind it to the left. You'll transfer the grind to a wire where
the O is. Continue the grind to the balcony railing. Hop the gap and land a
grind on the other side for the M. Now, watch the railing you're grinding very
closely. As soon as it transfers you to a black wire, jump hard to the left.
You'll fly toward a different black wire with the B on it. Grind the wire, grab
the B, then jump into the bowl. Keep rolling in that direction and spine
transfer out of the bowl. Revert to manual, ride up the quarter pipe and spine
transfer into the second bowl. Skate to the other end and grab the O just above
the edge.

==============================
-Beat Muska's best 6 combos-
==============================

Well, Muska has certainly gotten better since Frisco. Better, but not by much.
This time it's 6 combos, and they range from 20,000 to 70,000 in 10k intervals.
You have 30 seconds in each spot to get a combo started, and if you bail it's
all the way back to the start.

20,000 - Flip trick into a grind on the first bench and then the second bench,
        manual to the quarter pipe, special trick, revert to manual and that
        should be enough.

30,000 - Special grind the rail is front of you, ollie off into a special
        manual, make your way over the kicker ramp and past the fountains to
        the long quarter pipe for a trick or two. Revert to manual and pull 2
        or 3 flatland tricks.

40,000 - Use the half pipe you start out in.

50,000 - Stick to the street or skate forward and ollie into the half pipe you
        got 40,000 at.

60,000 - Use the rail in front of you. Grind it, hop the gap, special grind
        some more, hop another gap, then grind all the way to the quarter pipe
        and special manual when you jump off for this combo.

70,000 - Just do whatever you want here. No lines immediately come to mind, so
        make something up but make sure you don't miss the score or it's back
        to the start.

-Grind American cars for parking guy-
==============================

A funny-talking foreign guy wants you to grind some very nice looking american
cars for him. Why is there so much mishief to be done in this city? From the
start, grind the left side of the silver car in front of you. Don't ollie to
the ledge against the wall, just hold triangle and drop to it from the car.
Grind the ledge down and jump to the right and grind the blue car. Ollie off
and manual to the right so you don't hit the wrong car. The next american car
is the third black car on the row to your left. Grind the left side of it,
transfer to the ledge and grind until you see the last car, a blue one. Jump to
the right again and nail it.

==============================
-Trick on every object in the South Bank-
==============================

Hardest goal in this level? Yes, definitely. Now, I could just tell you that
you only needed 40 objects, which means some things don't need to be tricked
on. Then I could tell you to have a nice day, and leave you without any idea as
to how you should go about this task. Well, instead I think I'll give you the
ONLY written walkthrough of exactly what you should do to finish this goal. 45
minutes or more of testing this line, and 30 minutes of typing so that you're
not left helpless.

Grind the rock in front of you. Skate toward the curving ledge in front of you
under the bridge. Grind it to the right so it turns you around and sends you
toward the middle of the bridge. When the grind ends grind the ledge next to
the large concrete support for the bridge. Hop from this ledge to another
curving ledge near the pimp that's like the first one you grinded. This will
send you back to the area you started at. Now grind the 2 remaining rocks in
that circular area. Grind them in a clockwise manner so that when you've
grinded the last rock, if you turn to the right you'll see a quarter pipe with
a slanting rail over it. Skate over there and hit the quarter pipe angled a
little to the right. Spine transfer, then grind the rail down toward the
kitchen area. Grind the counter, then the rail it's connected to, then jump off
and onto the bottom of the quarter pipe to end the grind and tag the pipe. That
should be 11 objects.

Grind the rail in front of where you landed on the quarter pipe. Grind it until
you stant to go up the rail on the walkway. Jump off and onto the bridge. Turn
around and grind back down the walkway on the left rail, the one you haven't
grinded. That's 13 objects. Turn around once you're at the bottom of the
walkway and look at the side of the bridge. See the quarter pipe that isn't red
yet? Skate up it and spine transfer onto the bridge. Skate across the street
and hit that quarter pipe there. Spine transfer over the edge stop as soon as
you hit the lower quarter pipe. Turn right and grind that ledge right next to
where you came down. Then, grind the long ledge against the wall as it curves
around and ends for 20 objects.

After the grind ends, hit the quarter pipe in front of you. Flip trick in the
air so it registers, then transfer the wooden spine right across from it. Now
grind the rail by the water on your left. Jump from the rail onto the bottom of
the quarter pipe so you tag it, then continue the grind on the next rail. Hop
another gap then grind the rail up the walkway to the bridge. Turn around and
grind back down on the right rail. At the bottom, look to your right and grind
the small silver railing, then the other one after it. Ignore the really small
one that just leads up that tiny stair set. After grinding the second rail,
skate down past the wooden spine. Turn right, and then up the little walkway on
the side of the building on your right. Grind the large green rail on the right
as you go up it, and then turn left. Grind the next rail on your right, then
when you get to the end grind the rail in front of you to the left.

Hop off and grind the ledge against the building. At the end, hit the quarter
pipe near the bridge to mark it. Come down and cross over to the qaurter pipe
against the building and use it to spine transfer into the bowl. Turn to the
right when you get up there and spine transfer out. Cross over to the other
bowl and lip trick it. That's 38 objects. Come down from the trick and turn
left. You should see a pathway with a rail on each side. Grind the right rail
first, then hop to the left one for the last object.

==============================

Score 80,000 points. See if you can get this score using only lip tricks.

==============================
-S-K-A-T-E-
==============================

S - Skate straight ahead and ollie over the fence for the S.

K - Go around the bridge after getting the S and skate into the hippo area by
   hopping over the water gap. Skate into the shallow pool and then spine
   transfer into the other pool. The K is over the far side, in the air.

A - Transfer back into the shallow pool. Now exit the pool over where the A is.
   Line yourself up with the two hippos in the water that are under the A.
   Ollie onto the first one, then quickly press X twice to hop off the hippo,
   grab the A, hop off the next hippo, and fly over the railing and land on
   solid ground.

T - Now skate forward but slightly to the right and into the monkey cage area.
   The T is floating on the wall to your right, past the small snack bar.
   You'll have to wallride and then wallie to get it.

E - Use one of the small quarter pipes against the monkey cages to launch into
   the air. Spine transfer so you land on the top of the cages. Jump from here
   to the circular roof in the middle of the area. Once there, find the E and
   ollie from the roof to it.

==============================
-C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

Start by hitting the brick quarter pipe under the C. Revert to Manual when you
come down and roll to the rail where the O is. Grind it around and jump the gap
over the small quarter pipe for the M. If you don't have enough speed to make
it to the next rail, just land in a manual then start a grind on it. Anyway,
grind the rail after you get the M. Hop the next gap to get the B, then finish
out the grind for the O at the end.

==============================
-Hardflip and Heelflip over Kenny-
==============================

It's better to do the Hardflip first because after you do the first trick Kenny
goes wild and it's hard to jump right over him and do a diagonal flip trick
while he's darting around in different directions.

==============================
-Nail the tricks they yell out-
==============================

Why is it you never actually hear the tricks they yell out? They always pop up
on the screen, but no one is ever yelling them. This one is actually easier
than the one in London because you're only dealing with regular lip, kick, and
grab tricks. Lip trick on the metal pipes above the quarter pipes and do a flip
trick or a grab trick on the way down.

==============================
-Help the lion timer escape-
==============================

To help him escape, all you have to do is a 50,000 point combo in the lion
cages. It's ridiculous how this could pose even the slightest challenge after
you've already had to do a 100,000 point combo in London.

==============================
-Beat Bob's 3 best combos-
==============================

40,000, 50,000, and a 60,000 point combo in 3 different locations. For the
first area, hit the stone quarter pipe in front of you, revert to manual over
to the rails near the snack bar, special grind, then jump into a flatland
combo. For the second area, turn right and nail a special trick off the quarter
pipe. Revert to manual, then nail a short special trick off of the kicker ramp
and into the giraffe cage. Hit the quarter pipe against the building and do
another special trick to top the score. For the last area, skate forward and
special grind on the wire. Grind as long as you can then ollie off and into a
special manual. Throw down a few flatland trick to finish the goal.

==============================
-Stop the Monkey from escaping-
==============================

Skate forward and out of the area the monkeys are in. Turn right, and stay
close to the ledge. Follow it along until you see a guy with an arrow over his
head. Skate up to him and when his arrow disappears make a U-turn and go back
the way you came. Don't turn into the monkey area, though. Go just past it and
into the entrance area. Follow the arrow and skate up to the guard at the front
gate to warn him. Don't worry about your timer running out. As long as you're
in front of the monkey, you'll make it on time.

==============================
-Feed the hippos-
==============================

Grind the fence to your left. Jump to the log slanting upward. Grind up it,
then transfer to the log that's slanting downward to knock the first pumpkin
into the water. Transfer from the log to the ledge right next to the water. The
second pumpkin is on this ledge. At the very end of the ledge jump straight off
and the rock will deflect you toward the wooden railing where the third pumpkin
is. Continue the grind onto the second railing for the last pumpkin.

==============================
-Skitch the elephant-
==============================

Skitch the elephant for 30 seconds. Sounds a little easier than it is. Ride up
behind the elephant and start skitching him. It's pretty easy at first, but
then he'll start to drop huge loads of crap that more resemble meatballs, like
those commonly found in spaghetti. These aren't just for show; they weaken your
balance. So, just hold on for as long as you can and don't let the fecies
distract you.

==============================
-Catch the 5 runaway penguins-
==============================

To get into the aquarium, get onto the top of the large circular snack bar.
Jump from the roof onto the elephant's back. This will cause him to go on a mad
rampage that will destroy the aquarium's doors.

Penguin 1 - Turn to the right as soon as the goal starts.

Penguin 2 - From the start of the goal, skate down the slope and down into the
           aquarium. At the bottom, turn to the right.

Penguin 3 - After the second penguin, skate back up to the top of the aquarium.
           Exit through the "doors" and turn left. Skate past the picnic table
           and the fence to the side of the hippo pool. Skate down to the dead
           end for the third penguin.

Penguin 4 - Skate back to the aquarium entrance, but go past it to the path
           with the jeep that leads to where the birds are kept for the fourth
           penguin.

Penguin 5 - On the bridge the elephant destroyed.

==============================
-Pro Score: 200,000-
==============================

You know the routine. 200,000 points in 2 minutes.

==============================
-Medal the competition-
==============================

It's a vert competition, and it's actually a bit harder than the previous
competitions you've been in. 200,000 is about enough to get you gold, and
300,000 will give you a comfortable lead.

==============================
-Grind the 4 Zoo banners-
==============================

Skate forward and OLLIE onto the first banner. It's important that you don't
use the roof to launch onto the banner because you'll fly too far and the grind
won't register. So, ollie onto the first banner and grind it to the other side.
Make a U-turn and grind the center banner back to the other roof for banner 2.
U-turn again and grind the banner on the left for the third banner. Now, jump
off of the roof. Skate over to the other building, the one Bam is standing on.
See the quarter pipe against it? Use it to grind the ledge above it to the
left, and you'll transfer to a grind on the fourth and final banner.

==============================
-Lure the lions back to the cage-
==============================

Both of the lions are hanging out by the aquarium. One to the right of the
entrance and one to the left of it. To lure them back to their cages you have
to skate up to them and get their attention. Once you have that, hual ass back
to the lion cage. The lions are about as fast as you, so if you don't screw up
you should be good.

==============================
-Do a Sit Down Air over the lion's cage-
==============================

Time for another special trick! Drop in on the quarter pipe, then cross over to
the quarter pipe against the wall. Use it to get your special meter up, and
then when it is use it to transfer to the right and into the quarter pipe on
the small building. Use the kicker ramp on the edge of the building to fly over
the wall and out of the cage. Don't forget to do the special trick on your way
over.

==============================
-Sick Score: 800,000-
==============================

Listen to the Hawk, for he is wise... Seriously, you'll need a few big combos
for this score. Luckily, you're in the best area in the game for huge combos.
You'll start out in a half pipe on top of a building. You can spine transfer
either side of it and find several other quarter pipes and half pipes to meet
your sick scoring needs.

==============================
-Pro C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

This kid's voice is REALLY annoying. I think I'd rather throw him off the roof
than collect the COMBO letters. But, that's not a choice, so start the combo
off by riding forward and jumping onto the ledge in a grind for the C. When the
ledge ends, jump straight up and grind the edge of the roof where the O is.

You'll transfer to a wire that leads to the bridge railing. Now, there are to
things you can do here. Thi first thing is to stay on the wire until you're
about 2 feet away from the railing, then jump straight off and land a grind on
the railing. Then, quickly ollie off and over the gap in the bridge to the
other rail that leads down to where the M is. The second option is to ollie off
the wire about half way down and land a manual on the bridge. Make a sharp turn
to the right by pressing 'down' and 'right' at the same time. Ollie over the
gap in the bridge and grind the railing on your left for the M.

Now, after getting the M ollie off the railing and land in manual and roll
straight for the snack bar. Hit the quarter pipe against it and press 'up' to
lanuch onto the roof and collect the B. Land in a manual and turn to the right.
Ollie onto the wire and grind it toward the lion cage. Ollie to the right
before you get there and grind the edge of the cage. Ollie again to the right
and land ina manual on the roof. Hit the center of the quarter pipe for the O.

==============================
-Transfer over elephant rock-
==============================

When you start, skate forward and ollie into the brick half pipe. Don't turn in
either direction, just stay in a straight line as you go up the sides of the
half pipe. Do not use any spin when you trick. Why? Because when you started
out you were aligned just to the right of the drain at the bottom of this half
pipe. This is the best place to be when you transfer. Once your spcial meter is
up, and your skating toward the side of the half pipe OPPOSITE where you
started, cut sharp to the left and that should be the perfect angle for making
it all the way over.

==============================
-Get Kong back in his cage-
==============================

This goal seems a little too easy to be a pro goal, but that's Neversoft's
fault and your gain. Start by skating straight forward from the start. Skate up
the chimney and lip trick on the rail until you see an animation showing the
first trap door opening. Now, end the lip trick and skate across to the quarter
pipe for a trick or two. Skate back over to the chimney, but make sure you go
up the left side now. Lip trick on that rail until Kong falls back into his
cage. Job well done.

==============================
-Combo scare 40 birds-
==============================

Here's another goal that requires a steady hand and steady rail balance. First,
get your special meter up by tricking off the quarter pipes and the spine. Once
it's full, hit one of the qaurter pipes on the sides of the cage at a hard
angle and grind the rail above it. The sharper the angle, the faster you'll
grind, and the shorter it'll take you to finish the goal. You'll grind that
rail around in circles, and when your balance is starting to get a little shaky
jump into a special grind when the rail straightens out. Don't take your eyes
off the balance meter. You'll know when you've gotten 40 birds because you'll
here a money sound.

-High Score: 750,000-
==============================

If you think this score is big, I wouldn't suggest you scroll down to see what
the Sick Score is. The area the goal starts out in is pretty good if vert is
your thing, but if not then take some time to explore the level and see what
you can find. It's a little small, but there are a few nice grinding lines.

==============================
-S-K-A-T-E-
==============================

S - Skate forward and grind the ledge to your left. Continue the grind on the
   counters for the S.

K - Jump off at the end of the counters and skate straight ahead past some
   logs. Jump over the ramps and head straight for the small swamp area. Be
   quick about getting the K or you'll be introduced to the alligator who
   calls this place home.

A - Get out of the swamp and skate past the "Portable toilet facilities" on
   your left and the roller coaster to the right. You should see a spinning
   ride called The Abductor. There are 3 quarter pipes in front of it. Hit the
   center one and transfer to the right one for the A.

T - Come down after getting the A and skate over to the large aluminum kicker
   ramp. Hit it and fly onto the roof of the barn, also made of aluminum. Turn
   left and skate down the roof to where the T is and snag it.

E - Jump off the barn's roof and skate into the large oval area. Skate across
   to where you see the E. Hit the Quarter pipe under the 'Tough Guy' sign and
   spine transfer onto the red roof. Now just skate over to the E.

==============================
-C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

Grind the rail on your right for the C. As soon as you get it, jump to the left
and grind the ledge where the O is. Jump off and manual straight ahead to the
wooden fence and grind it for the M. Jump off at the end and land in a manual.
Skate forward to the small building with the flames on it, and the B floating
on top of it. Wallride it, then wallie and grind the edge of it for the B. Hold
the grind as you go through a small window, then jump out of it and land
another grind on the edge of the aluminum roof next to the barn. Jump the gap
for the O.

==============================
-Hit the tricks and ring the bell-
==============================

Skate forward from the start and turn slightly to the left. Look for one of
those things you always see at the fair(or the carnival in this case) where you
hit the thing with the hammer and try to ring the bell. Well, you have to use
the quarter pipes on the sides of it to transfer over and ring the red bell at
the top. The tricks they yell out have to be done while you ring the bell, and
you can do 2 tricks at a time, just as long as you ring the bell with one of
them. You only have to deal with regular grab and flip tricks.

==============================
-Collect 6 souvenir photos-
==============================

Photo 1 - Straight ahead from where you start, grind the silver railing.

Photo 2 - Ollie off the rail and continue forward. Skate over to the barn.
         Grind the ledge to the right of the entrance.

Photo 3 - Skate past the roller coaster and turn left. Grind the rail between
         the coaster and the wall.

Photo 4 - Grind the rail next to the blue toilets.

Photo 5 - Skate over to the barn, next to the ride with flames on it. Jump onto
         the ledge, and then grind the silver rail for the photo.

Photo 6 - Jump off the rail and skate ahead to the chicken pen. Grind the rail
         for the last picture.

==============================
-Do a 500,000 point combo-
==============================

Specials, specials, specials. It is imperative that use them for this goal. The
Indy 900 and The 900 are worth the most points, so if you can't beat this goal
after several tries, equip them. You should start the combo with some vert. Try
to spin all of your specials. You should be able to do about 4 tricks before
you start to slow down a lot. After the fourth trick, air off the edge of the
bowl and spine transfer into a special grind on the edge. You'll transfer from
the the edge of the bowl to a board and through a small window, and then the
grind will end. Land in a special manual and throw down flatland tricks as fast
as you can. 20,000 x 25 is 500,000, so if your score is higher than that end
the combo.

==============================
-Try not to boot-
==============================

This goal has a very tight time limit, so if you miss something or eat the
pavement, just start over.

Skate forward and turn slightly to the right. You should see the first arrow
hovering over a counter. Grind the counter to the end then jump off. Continue
to skate forward, making slight turns to the right. You'll see another line of
booths to your left. The last booth has the arrow on it, so grind it's counter.
Now, on to the rides. Ollie off the counter and head for the rocket ride. Avoid
ramps and things that might slow you down. When you're close enough you'll see
a Nokia sign. Skate to the left of it and grind the rail. It'll launch you up
and you'll grab the arrow. Now turn to the right a little and head to the
roller coaster. Grind the track to get the arrow, then jump off.

Now, the next arrow is on the Abductor, so use one of the kicker ramps in front
of it to launch into it. Skate to the middle of it for the arrow, then turn
hard to the right and press up to launch out of it. With luck, you'll land
facing the ferris wheel. Now, this is the hard part. You have to lip trick on
one of the buckets and hold it to the top. Sounds easy, but lip balance is very
shaky and hard to keep straight. If you make it to the top you now have only
one more ride to go on. Drop down from the bucket and skate over to the Thunder
Cups ride. Hit the black quarter pipe and grind the rail above it to the left
for the last arrow.

==============================
-Medal the competition-
==============================

300,000 - 350,000 is enough for a gold medal, and you can't leave the oval
competition area or the tricks won't count.

==============================
-Sick Score: 1,500,000-
==============================

If you collapsed after reading that, you're not alone. It's crazy! How can you
go from 750,000 to 1.5 Million?! If the high score gave you a lot of trouble,
then you'll be here for a while. But, I have a slew of tips to help you destroy
this score.

First, try and equip some really high scoring specials. As stated before, the
Indy 900 and the 900 are the two highest, but you'll need more than just those.
Try the FS 540. It's quick and worth about 5,000 points, higher than most
others.

Once you have the specials equiped, find a good spot to score points. The ideal
combo has 3 parts: Vert, street, and flatland. Find a good quarter pipe to
start your combo in. Now, get your special meter up and begin the combo with
your slowest special, which would likely be the 900 or Indy 900. Revert to
manual and perform another special on the other side of the pipe. Use only
specials and try to put spin on ones that don't involve a lot of movement. When
you start to slow down a lot, spine transfer out of the half pipe on either
side and special grind it. Ollie off and quickly find another grinding line.
Use only special grinds, flip trick into and out of them, and alternate grinds
on the same rail if it's long enough.

Keep looking for grinds until you're rail balance is nearly shot. Now, start
with the flatland tricks. I'd suggest you have at least two special manuals
equipped, and you need to start out by alternating between the two to get your
base score up. Whenever you want to, just start throwing down regular flatland
tricks until your balance is too shaky. DON'T TAKE ANY CHANCES! If it's moving
fast or anywhere near the edge, jump out of the combo. If you're not yet over
the 1.5 Million mark, you're likely not far from it so just nail a few more
tricks in the level to cap it off.

==============================
-Pro C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

When the goal starts, skate forward and start a grind on the rail for the C.
Jump off at the end of the grind and manual over to the quarter pipe to the
left of the carnival game. Transfer to the quarter on the right of the game.
Revert to manual over to the front of the Thunder Cups ride. Hit the quarter
pipe under the O and grab it in the air. Come down and manual over to the barn
entrance. Once inside, grind the ledge on your right where the M is. Jump off
of the ledge and land in a manual. Turn left and roll towards the rail the B is
on. Grind it, then at the end jump off and manual straight ahead to the
planter. Grind it, jump the gap for the O, then finish the combo.

==============================
-Help tear down the competition-
==============================

There are 4 banners to tear down, and all you need to do is lip trick on them
and they'll come right down. Hold the trick until you see some words appear in
the middle of the screen telling you it's ok to end the trick. There are 2
banners in the middle of the area, and one on each side of it.

==============================
-Grind the whole coaster-
==============================

Don't just jump onto the track as soon as the goal starts. There are 2 trains
that travel the track, and the chances are high you'll run into one if you just
go at it blindly. When the goal starts, look to the right. If there's a train
there, then skate in front of it and start your grind. Don't look at the track,
just focus on your balance. If you run into the back of one of the trains, then
just restart. You see, the gap between the 2 trains is wierd. There's the
shorter gap and then there's the longer gap. If you hit the train from behind
then you went during the short gap. If you make it all the way around then you
obviously got the long gap. Grind the track until you get the 'What a Trip!'
gap.

==============================
-Nail a 900 on the rocket ride-
==============================

The hardest part about this goal is getting on the rocket ride. The best way is
to stay where you are when the goal starts. Do some flatland tricks to get your
special meter up. Now, wait for one of the rockets to come down to the bottom.
When it reaches the very bottom and starts to go up again, skate forward and
use the kicker ramp to launch into it. Now line yourself up so you won't fly
out of the sides of the ride. Since you already have special, just do the
trick and earn a new special trick slot.

==============================
-Collect 10 ride tickets-
==============================

Skate forward and spine transfer the quarter pipe for the 1st ticket. Skate
forward and spine transfer over the little roof for the 2nd and 3rd tickets.
Ollie off the roof and onto the roller coaster track. Grind it for the 4th
ticket, and when it straightens out jump off to the right. Skate over to the
wall near the potties. Grind it for the 5th ticket, then continue the grind as
it slopes upward for the 6th ticket. Jump to the left and skate over to the
rail the 7th ticket is on. Don't grind it, just skate past it and you'll get
it. Continue past the ramps and you'll see the 8th ticket also on a rail near
the corner of the ride on your left. Skate near it to grab it, then make a 180
and look up. The 9th ticket is floating over the ride's sign, so use the kicker
ramp to launch up and grab it, then land in the bowl. Skate over to the last
ticket to finish the goal.

-High Score: 900,000-
==============================

If you're having trouble finding a good half pipe, it's probably because this
level has NOTHING good for vert skaters. Right now I can think of exactly 2
half pipes in this level, and I don't really like them. No bowls, no pools.
But, it's pretty hard to get this score without some vert, so hunt out one of
the half pipes and get to it.

==============================
-S-K-A-T-E-
==============================

S - Skate forward and transfer the quarter pipe in front of you to the right.
   Come down in the quarter pipe up there, and launch forward off the middle
   of the kicker on the edge of the roof for the S hanging in the air.

K - When you land, turn to the left and skate to the front of the large brown
   building. Ollie of the steps and you'll see 3 dark openings in front of
   you, with the K floating above you. Skate into the center opening. When you
   appear again, make a 180 and go straight back into the door you just came
   out of. When you come out the other side you'll be in the air with the K.

A - After getting the K, skate straight forward past the bus on your left. When
   you pass it, turn right and skate up the concrete slope. When you get to
   the top, look to the far end you'll see a small kicker facing a building.
   Hit the ramp on the right edge, at a straight angle. You'll fly toward the
   edge of the building it's facing, and hopefully right at the red rail
   sticking out of it. Grind it for the A.

T - Jump off the rail and skate down the street. Whne it turns to the left,
   look on the right sidewalk for a quarter pipe against a building. Hit the
   quarter pipe and grind the ledge above it to the left. After a few seconds
   you'll transfer to a wire sloping upwards. Flip trick into different grinds
   for speed, and grab the T at the top of the lights the wire leads to.

E - Continue skating down the street until you get to the train tracks. When
   you're directly under them, turn left and follow the yellow rail. When you
   see some trees on your left, look between them and the wall for the E.
   Wallride up and grab it.

==============================
-C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

Grind the curved ledge in front of where you start for the C. Jump off and
manual to the stairs in front of you. Grind up the ledge on the right side of
them, and grab the O when it flatens out. Hold the grind to the very bottom of
the ledge as it slopes downward, then leap into a manual. Roll ahead to the
curved brick ledge where the M is. Grind it, grab the M, then manual off and
over to the rail the B is on. Don't grind the rail, just jump over it for the B
and land in another manual on the street. Hold your balance and skate over to
the quarter pipe to the right of the O. Grind the top of it to the left and
jump the gap for the O.

==============================
-Deliver the pizzas-
==============================

Pizza 1 - Skate forward to the street, then turn left. Follow it down, and turn
         right when it does. When you see the train tracks, look on the left
         sidewalk and notice the quarter pipe. Ride up it and press 'up' to
         launch onto the tracks. Skate over to the pizza box to deliver the
         pizza.

Pizza 2 - Ollie straight over the railing after the first pizza and get back on
         the street. When it turns left, continue skating forward and ollie
         over the short wall. Skate forward to the half pipe where the second
         pizza box is.

Pizza 3 - Pull a 180 after delivering the second pizza, then turn left and
         continue to skate down the street. When it turns right before the
         bridge, turn right with it and get onto the sidewalk. The third pizza
         box is against the building on your right.

Pizza 4 - Continue down the sidewalk to the yellow rail. Turn right and follow
         it down and then up again. Make a left and the brick wall and keep
         close to it. Turn right at the corner and ride up the slope. Turn to
         the right for the last pizza delivery.

==============================
-The bridge challenge-
==============================

After you complete this challenge you'll be able to skate on the other side of
the bridge. Don't expect much. The bridge gets steeper with each set of tricks
you perform, but it's never hard. The first trick you have to do is a Triple
Heelflip. After that it's a Japan/Crossbone with a Pop Shove-it. For the last
set, you need to do a Wrap Around and a Varial Heelflip. Easy.

==============================
-Grind 5 Fire Hydrants-
==============================

Hydrant 1 - Straight ahead of you on the sidewalk, but a little farther down.
           You can't miss it.

Hydrant 2 - Follow the street and turn right as it does. The second hydrant is
           on the left sidewalk just after the train tracks.

Hydrant 3 - Continue down the street until it turns right. When it does,
           continue forward but slant to the right and toward the front of the
           large bus. The hydrant is on the sidewalk near it.

Hydrant 4 - Get back on the main street again. Skate down the left side until
           you see the fourth hydrant on the sidewalk.

Hydrant 5 - Now turn right and skate down the street. Stay on the right side,
           because the last hydarant is on the sidewalk. If the timer runs out
           just manual to it.

==============================
-Put bugs on 5 mafiosos-
==============================

Mafioso 1 - Skate forward until the ledge on your right ends. When it does,
           turn around and skate up it. Flip trick over the mafioso at the top
           to tag him.

Mafioso 2 - After the first guy, skate forward and turn left at the corner of
           the building. Continue forward then turn right and skate between
           the two yellow rails. When you reach the other side, turn left and
           then right again to get onto the builing. Turn right and skate up
           the slope to the helipad, then skate down the slope and look to
           your right. There is a small kicker in the corner. Use it to launch
           over to the other building. Make your way to the top and flip trick
           over the mafioso AND the railing he's standing next to.

Mafioso 3 - Land on the ground after flying over the railing. Avoid the spine,
           and skate straight ahead to the tall building with the quarter pipe
           set into it. When you get there, turn right and skate through the
           trees to the sidewalk. Once there, turn left and skate toward the
           twisted piece of red metal. Turn left as you near it and skate
           close to the building to see the third mafioso standing near the
           door.

Mafioso 4 - Continue skating down the sidewalk after the third mafioso. Skate
           all the way down, and just before the street turns to the left,
           you'll see the fourth guy standing against the building on your
           left.

Mafioso 5 - Skate forward to the street and turn left. Follow the street all
           the way down, and when it turns left look for the large building
           with the wide steps and the two green lions on either side of them.
           Skate up the steps and the last guy is up there.

==============================
-Sick Score: 1,500,000-
==============================

In case you missed it the first time, here are my tips and suggestions to help
you land this sick score:

Keep looking for grinds until your rail balance is nearly shot. Now, start with
the flatland tricks.

==============================
-Pro C-O-M-B-O-
==============================

Skate forward from the start, then turn left at the wall. The C is floating
above the quarter pipe betwen the wall and the statue. Launch up from the
quarter pipe and grab it, then revert to manual when you come down. Now, turn
slightly to the right and line yourself up with the O. Hit the qaurter pipe and
press 'up' to launch out of it and toward the O. Grind the edge of the blue
awning for it, then jump onto the next ledge and grind it as it slopes down.

Jump of and land in a manual, then quickly jump to the left and grind the
curving ledge. Jump off at the end of it, and manual over to the ledge on the
right side of the stairs. Grind it, jump the gap for the M, then grind the next
ledge. Jump off and manual to the quarter pipe against the wall. Transfer it to
the right and land a grind on the ledge the B is on. After getting the B,
quickly jump to the right and grind the stone railing near the water. Grab the
O then jump off to complete the combo.

==============================
-Nail the tricks they yell out-
==============================

For your last goal of this type, you'll be dealing with regular lip, grab, and
flip tricks, along with some diagonal flip and grab tricks. Too easy.

==============================
-Knock over 10 ballplayers in one combo-
==============================

Skate down the slope in front of where the goal starts. The ballplayers are all
standing against the rail next to the water. Grind this rail to knock them
over. There are 3 small gaps in the rail you need to watch out for, and when
you get to the end of the rail you need to jump off and manual up the quarter
pipe. Revert to manual when you come back down and continue grinding the rail
until you have 10 or more ballers.

==============================
-Do a 100,000 point combo on the ledge-
==============================

This is one of my favorite goals in the game because it involves flatland
tricks, and it probably the hardest flatland goal in the game. So, start out
with a manual then do a few regular tricks until your special meter is full.
Now, if you have some special manuals equiped, start alternating between them
for points. Just keep going until you have over 100,000.

==============================
-900 off bridge to the ferry's top deck-
==============================

To start with, you'll need your special meter up. Grind the ledges and
fountains in the area until it's full. Now, skate over to the bridge. Skate up
it at a slant to the right. Ollie at the very top and do the trick as you fly
toward the ferry. If your angle was right, you should land in the top deck. If
not, just try it again.

==============================
-Distract the guards-
==============================

When the goals starts, skate forward and to the street on your right. Skate
down to the very end of it, then turn around. The first guard's car is in front
of you. Skate up to it and grind the right side of it. Now, quickly skate over
to the second car. Grind the right side of it, then do the same for the third
and fourth cars to complete the challenge.

In this challenge you'll be performing tricks while transferring between 2
half pipes over a widening gap, 7 stories in the air. Is that all?

For the first part, the gap is pretty small and the tricks are simple. A
nosegrab, a tailgrab, and an indy. Get them over with as quick as you can so
you have more time for the rest of the challenge.

The second set of tricks are all diagonal grab tricks, and the half pipes are
now a little farther apart. My advice is to quickly press the direction and
circle then let go, because if you hold down the directional buttons you'll
spin and there's a chance you won't land correctly.

For the final and hardest part of the challenge, the half pipes are even
farther away from each other and all 3 tricks are specials with a lot of
movement. The Indy 900, 360 Varial McTwist, and Barrel Roll. So, get your
special meter up if it isn't already. Now, try to transfer at a high angle.
What I mean is, don't cut hard to the side for extra distance because not only
will you not have enough time to do the trick, but you'll have major problems
landing. Try to hit it at an angle where you get enough height for the trick,
but you barely clear the gap so you don't land sideways.

This one's like Tony Hawk's Pro Challenge. 3 parts, 3 tricks per part, and you
do the tricks while you transfer something. In this case, it's a loop with the
top removed, and it gets wider with each set of tricks. Harder? Nope. Probably
a little easier, with the exception of a trick or two.

The first 3 tricks are very easy. Just ride straight down the middle of the
loop and do a kickflip, cannonball, and an impossible before you reach the
other side of the loop.

For the second part, ride down the right side of the loop and do a wrap
around, a hardflip, and a varial heelflip. Still easy. But, don't hold down
the diagonal buttons for any longer than a half second because it's hard to
land a trick in this loop if you're spinning.

Now, you're doing a method, a Samba Flip, and a Sit Down Air. The Samba Flip
and Sit Down Air require a special meter, so do the method first. The sides of
the loop are really far apart by now, so you'll have to slant to the right as
you come to the gap or you'll land on your head. Also, and this is especially
true of the Samba Flip, you'll have to ollie and start the trick before you
see the end of the loop. So either time it right or take a wild guess, but
start the tricks before you can see the sky or you won't have enough time to
land them.

In this pro challenge you're riding doubles with Ricky Thorne, pro BMXer and a
good friend of Steve's. You'll do a total of 12 tricks, separated into 4 parts
of 3.

For the first part you'll be doing tricks over Ricky. A Pop Shove-it, an
Impossible, and a cannonball.

Then you'll have to do a disaster, an axle stall, and an invert while Ricky
tricks over you. You have to do the lip tricks where the orange arrow is, or
close to it, for the trick to count.

Part three gets a little harder. You'll be tricking over Ricky again, but
you'll be doing diagonal grab tricks. Specifically, a Benihana, a Wrap Around,
and an Indy Nosebone.

For the last part, you're back to doing lip tricks. A One Foot Invert, a Blunt
to Fakie, and BS Boneless. Same place as last time.

Think of this as a glorified version of the 'Nail the tricks they yell out'
goal. There are 3 parts to it, like most of the Pro Challenges. You'll only be
doing flip tricks, and you'll have to do them across the gap between the roofs
you start out on.

The first part has you doing regular and diagonal flip tricks over the gap,
one at a time. Don't get in a hurry, because the only way you can fail this
part of the challenge is to have too many tricks on the list at one time. Just
make sure the tricks don't turn red and you're in good shape.

When the timer gets to about 1:31, the second part begins. You're presented
with 2 tricks at a time, and they have to be done in one combo to count. Just
do one trick over the gap, land in a manual, then do the last flip trick to
clear it off the list.

When the timer reaches 0:31, several tricks appear on the screen and they all
have to be done in one combo. Just do what you did with the second part, but
expand on it at the end. It's also wise to go from the tan roof to the brown
roof so you have more room to manual.

You'll be doing 8 different tricks in and around the pools in the level. Most
of them are pretty easy, but a few can give you a hard time.

When you drop in, hit the side of the pool in front of you and trick to get
your special meter up. Cross back over to where you dropped in at and spine
transfer it, doing a Heelflip Handflip on your way over.

Come down from the first trick, and skate straight toward the watertower. Do a
Blunt to Fakie on the lower railing.

Now skate back over to the spine in the middle of the pool. Transfer it, then
skate to either the left or right side of the pool. Stay in a straight line as
you cross from the side against the cellblock to the spine, getting your
special meter up. When it is, skate toward the side near the cellblock. Hit
the side of the pool at a high angle, to the right if you're on the left side
and to the left if you're on the right side. Do a Melon while you're in the
air, and hopefully you were able to clear the plank the guy was standing on.
If not, just try again.

Now, make sure your air, hangtime, ollie, and speed stats are maxed. Get your
special meter up and boneless off the side of the pool near the cellblock.
Eggplant on the roof of the cellblock.

Drop in from the lip trick, and transfer over the spine in the middle of the
pool. Skate towards the watertower and boneless off the pool below it. Spine
transfer at the very top and into the bowl inside the watertower. You have to
clear the wooden planks circling the top for it to count, so get as much
height as you can from the pool.

Do a 50,000 point combo in the pool.

Spine transfer from the bowl back to the pool, with a Backfoot Flip Nosegrab
on the way over.

Now, air off the spine for some speed, then cross back over to the watertower.
Boneless off the pool and do a regular lip trick on the wooden planks at the
top. You should be right under a guy holding a skateboard over his head.
That's the Grommet. Ollie from the lip trick and immediately perform the One
Foot Blunt on the board for the last trick.

This is the toughest grind-related goal in the game, so I hope you've gotten
good at it. You'll be grinding 3 different steel cables around the shipyard,
over 100 feet in the air. In real life, it's impossible. Good luck.

The first cable is the longest, but it's mostly downhill so you can focus on
your balance instead of keeping your speed up. It may seem obvious, but the
easiest way to keep your balance steady is to keep the arrow in the very
center area of the balance meter as long as you can. As soon as it jerks over
to the left or right, a very steady hand is required. Very light taps will
usually suffice, so be carful with it.

The second grind is probably the easiest. It's shorter than the first one, and
the straightest grind of the 3. You might have to trick once or twice before
the cable does a U-turn, but only if you're VERY low on speed. Just hold your
balance and this one's not hard at all.

The last grind is the shortest, but is packs a few challenges. The cable dips
down from the start, then slants up again, meaning you'll have to do some
tricks to get over the hill. Then, it dips again before slanting back upward,
so you'll again have to trick a bit for the extra speed needed to get over the
top. After that, the cable slants sharply downward then toward the roof of one
of the buildings. No more hills, just straight down.

Remember, not only are special grinds your friend, but they can also be used
to steady your balance if it's getting crazy.

5 combos, each one bigger than the last, on a floating ramp that's steadily
deteriorating with each combo. Easier than it sounds. Equip at least 4 special
vert tricks and at least 2 special manuals.

The first combo is a pathetic 10,000 points. Just do a grab trick then revert
to manual over to a ramp and hit a flip trick or two.

The second combo is still weak at 20,000 points. Again, just get a combo going
with some regular tricks like cannonballs and kickflips and this one is too
easy.

At 50,000 points, you should still have no problem with this combo. Don't
bother using any specials because this one's small enough to nail with a few
vert tricks and a flatland or two.

For the 100,000 point combo, I'd suggest using nothing but flatland tricks.
Start with one of the 2 special manuals I hope you equiped. Alternate between
the two until your base score is 10,000. When it is, throw down some regular
flatland tricks until your multiplier is over 10.

For the last combo, 250,000 points, find a section of half pipe that hasn't
yet been destroyed. Start a combo with some specials and keep it going until
you don't have enough speed to make it up the ramp. Steady your balance and
throw down a few flatland tricks for insurance then end the combo and the
goal.

A shopping cart? Sounds cool, but I have one question. How the hell do you
steer a shopping cart around a U-turn when your doing about 25 m.p.h.?

For the first run through the course, you have no obstacles to worry about.
Just a smooth trip all the way down. Some tips: Make wide turns, and when the
switchbacks end and you go into the sewer/gutter area, jump over the slant at
the end or you'll end up in a very bad hurt.

For the second run, you'll be hopping over short walls set up along the
course. It's pretty basic, but on the third switchback the last two walls are
extended higher on the sides so you'll have to line up with them and go
through the middle. There's also a hurdle before and after the sewer/gutter
area, so watch out for it.

In the last run, the challenge is a slalom. For the most part it's pretty
easy. The first 2 switchbacks are the same, a standard right, left, right,
etc. slalom. The 3rd switchback is a little more random so you'll have to
react quickly. When you get to the bottom turn right and go through the tunnel
in the building on the left because the sewer/gutter is blocked. Go in on the
left side because the first slalom is on the right. Make it through this and
stick to the right as you come out or you'll hit the rail near the stairs.

Rodney Mullen has invented a lot of important tricks over the years. For his
challenge, you'll be performing the tricks in 3 separate combos. Really easy.

For the first combo, skate forward from the start and don't stop until you
reach the large wooden half pipe. You'll need to do a kickflip, heelflip,
impossible, and a Semi flip. A full special meter is needed for the Semi flip.

Stay in the half pipe for the second combo. This time you'll need to do a
double kickflip, a double heelflip, a fingerflip, an airwalk, and a 360 flip.

The last combo is all flatland, and Rodney is the greatest when it comes to
this. Go from a manual to a Casper, then do a Casper flip, then go into an
Anti Casper, then a handstand, handflip, then into a Rusty Slide Manual to
finish it off.

fills to 1000, you've completed the 'beat'. You need 8 beats to complete the
challenge. The best place to do this is the EMB ledge because gaps are worth a
lot of points, and so are special grinds. If you've forgotten where the EMB
ledge is, it's the long ledge on the side of the main street that has breaks
in it where a huge concrete sphere sits.

    Level: San Francisco

This challenge had great potential. Not only is the idea great, but the trick
possibilities were endless. Instead of variety and innovation, we're left with
5 different gaps to hit, and the exact same tricks done over and over again at
each spot. Very repetitive.

Use the rail in front of where you start for speed. Hit the kicker ramp
against the railing to fly over the water to the other side of the pier. For
the second trick, clear the gap to the pier with a double kickflip on your
way. The last trick is a triple heelflip over the same gap.

In the second area, you'll be jumping over the overhead walkway from the
street. You'll start out facing a quarter pipe. Don't turn to either side,
just hit it straight on, then when you come down cross over to the large
kicker ramp set up near the walkway. Boneless/beanplant off of it and clear
the walkway. Repeat this, but with a double kickflip for the second trick. For
the last trick, clear the walkway with a triple heelflip.

The third area is actually VERY annoying. You have to hit a kicker ramp and
fly through a hole in the mangled statue near the area where the competition
took place. The thing is, the hole is very small and I haven't yet figured out
a 100% way of getting through it. Just grind the rails in front of you for
speed, then use the ramp to launch through it. Repeat the process 2 more
times, with a double kickflip the second time and a triple heelflip the last
time. Getting tired of these tricks yet?

Skate forward and grind the blue rail for speed. Hit the small kicker ramp and
fly over the street toward the EMB bowl. It's a pretty long jump to make, even
with a full special meter. Try aiming a bit to the right when you hit the
kicker, and a boneless/beanplant always helps. Double kickflip into it, then
triple heelflip into it.

The last gap is actually pretty easy. Start out by skating forward and jumping
over the short gap to get to the other roof. Skate over to the kicker ramp on
the edge of the roof, and ollie it slightly to the left. Land on the sidewalk
across the street for it to count. The rest of the goal you should know by
now.

This Pro Challenge is a lot like Andrew Reynolds's, only it's a lot better.
Fewer spots to hit, but a better variety of tricks and combinations.

In the first area, you need to skate up the walkway toward the street in front
of you. Boneless/beanplant at the top, clear the street with a FS Shove-it on
your way over, then land a FS Nosegrind on the handrail on the right side of
the walkway. After that, jump the same gap with another FS Shove-it, but this
time land a FS 5-0 on the rail. For the last trick, hit the gap with another
FS Shove-it, with a Rowley Darkslide on the rail.

At the second area, drop into the quarter pipe and hit the kicker ramp in
front of you. Do an Inward Heelflip in the air, then land a FS Crooked grind
on the ledge below you to break your fall. Hit the kicker again for the second
trick, with another Inward Heelflip, but this time land a FS Overcrook on the
ledge. For the last trick, Inward Heelflip again but land land a Rowley
Darkslide on the ledge.

The last area gets a little interesting. Skate down the roll-in and off the
kicker ramp. Pull a Hardflip in the air and FS Feeble the light wire. Kickflip
out of the grind for the first trick. Skate down the roll-in again and hit the
kicker with another Hardflip, and land Rowley Darkslide on the wire. Double
Kickflip out of the grind to end the combo for the second trick. For the final
trick, hit the kicker and do a Casper Flip 360 Flip in the air. Rowley
Darkslide the wire, then Triple Kickflip out of the grind.

Elissa's challenge is very similar to Andrew's and Geoff's challenges, but
it's probably a little better. 3 spots to hit, and the first trick in each
spot is to just clear the gap, like Andrew had to do. But, the second and
third tricks vary from spot to spot, and from trick to trick, making it more
like Geoff's challenge. It may even be a little harder.

Drop in on the quarter pipe and skate over to the planter in front of you.
Grind it, and when you're near the end jump straight off and grind the curving
rail as it slopes downward. Get off the rail and skate straight ahead to the
skinny walkway to the left of the large concrete wall. Skate up the walkway
and boneless/beanplant at the top. You should clear the wall and land on a
pile of plywood on the steps. For the second trick, clear the gap with a
triple impossible. The last trick is a Judo Madonna, and you'll need a full
special meter for it.

Skate forward and grind the rail in front of you for speed. Continue ahead to
the top of the massive stairset. Boneless/beanplant from the top to the bottom
for the trick. You'll need to do an airwalk and a double heelflip over the
stairs for the second trick. A full special meter and a Judo Madonna are all
that's required for the last trick.

The last gap is HUGE! Skate forward a bit and grind the rail near the
cellblock to line you up and give you a small speed boost. Skate straight
ahead to the kicker ramp and launch off it. Clear both switchbacks and land in
the gutter/sewer area for the trick to count. Repeat the process with a
Benihana and a Pop Shove-it for the second trick. For the last trick, clear
the gap with a triple kickflip and a Judo Madonna.

The timer on this challenge is a little tighter than on the others. You can
only add seconds to it by doing one of the 10 tricks on the list you have to
do. The faster you are, the easier it is.

The first trick is a FS 5-0. Skate forward into the odd-shaped bowl. Press R2
to revert into switch stance. FS 5-0 the bowl where the arrow is for the trick
to count.

Hold the FS 5-0 until the grind ends. Now, skate straight ahead to the
basketball court. Once there, skate over to the fence on the right, down where
the spine is separating the basketball court and the tennis court. Turn left
and look for the tennis net. 360 Flip over it.

Turn around after the 360 Flip and skate through the hole in the fence and
toward the blue kiosks. Turn left before you get to them and look for the
small bridge with stone sides. Skate up to either side, and press triagle and
the directional button pointing toward the side for a Nosedlide.

After the noseslide, turn right and skate up the concrete walkway. Keep
skating down until you see the large white building, and the curving ledge in
front of it. If you're still skating in switch, press diagonally down and
right + triangle for the smith grind.

Quickly hop off the ledge and follow the arrow to the stairs. FS Shove-it the
first set.

Continue down the steps to the large wall. Turn right before it and skate
alongside it for a short while. Skate over to the basketball court when you
see it, then through the hole in the fence. Skate up to the street, then cross
it over to the school where the arrow is pointing. Nosegrind any of the blue
rails.

Get back to the street and skate down it, away from where you came from and
away from the parking garage. When it turns left, turn right and follow the
arrow straight down to the last set of benches, on the other side of the very
tall tower. Skate up to them and press triangle + directional button pointing
away from benches to tailslide them.

Hop off the benches and follow the arrow to the blue kiosks I mentioned
earlier in the challenge. Grind either one of them, then do a kickflip when
you jump off.

Skate to the street after the last trick and turn left. Skate down past the
garbage truck to the quarter pipe against the building on your right. Make
sure your stance is normal, then ride up the left side of the quarter pipe,
slanting to the right. Nosegrind the ledge above it.

Now, the last trick. After grinding the ledge, put on the brakes before you
roll out the other side of the area. Turn toward the street and ollie over the
white railing too land in the street. Skate up the path in front of you,
slightly to the right where you did the FS Shove-it. When you get to the top,
turn slightly to the left and skate past the spine in the middle of the area.
Look for the very steep quarter pipe against the Fine Arts building, the one
with a lot of glass. Look to the left of it for some glass doors. Skate into
them, then into the elevator in the room. When you appear on the roof, skate
forward and slant to the right. Jump from this roof to the roof below, with a
benihana before you land.

Skate forward to the track with the green detonator on it. Grind it, and don't
focus on the shaking screen or the detonators, just your balance. When you've
heard 3 explosions, jump to the left and onto the track there for the 4th
detonator. Manual to the quarter pipe, then revert to manual when you come
back down. Manual for as long as you can, and stick to the left rail. When it
starts to curve left, grind it. Get the 1st detonator, then jump to the rail
on the right and grind it for the 2nd one. Wait until you can clear the
dynamite, then jump back to the left rail for the last detonator. Quickly jump
to the handrail, then land a manual before going up the half pipe. Lip trick
on the helicopter to finish the challenge.

There are 10 minigames in the game that reward you with money, and many of
them have to be done multiple times for you to get all $500. Below I'll list
all 10, and where to find them.

...................................Tennis.....................................

Level: College
Where: Tennis Courts

This is probably the best minigame, but that's really not saying much
considering how AWFUL the rest of them are. You're playing a game of tennis
with some arrogant french guy, and the first person to get 4 points wins. You
can move the skater back and forth with the directional buttons, and press X to
hit the ball towards the other guy. The closer it is to you when you hit X, the
faster it will go. If you press left or right while pressing X you can send the
ball in those directions, and this is the only way to beat him because he is
good at this game. Win twice to get all the money.

................................Garbage Day...................................

Level: College
Where: The Garbage truck down the street to the right of where the level
      begins.

Climb into the back of the truck and the game will begin. You have 39 seconds
to collect as many cash icons as you can before they vanish, but don't get your
hopes up. This game has a $500 cap like the rest of them. Transfer the trucks
any way you can and you shouldn't have any problems with this minigame.

................................High Voltage..................................

Level: College
Where: To the right of the sporting goods store on the main street.

Look to the left of the sporting goods store and you'll see a green power box.
Lip trick on it and you'll see some red text appear on the left side of the
screen with a number counting up. End the lip trick and skate toward the large
wall on the other side of the street. Start a grind on it and when the red text
turns green, jump off and wait for the number to count back down to 0. Easy
cash.

...............................Save the Seals.................................

Level: San Francisco
Where: From where the level starts, skate down the road until you see two
      quarter pipes with red ledges around them by the pier on your right.
      Skate in between them and all the way to the water. Turn left and skate
      up to the set of binoculars.

Basically, you're trying to save some seals from a skark out in the bay. Now,
you don't know the seals, and why the heck do you even care? Anyway, this game
is pretty hard on your controller as you have to repeatedly tap the X button so
the seals can swim faster. The best way to do this is to put the controller on
a hard, flat surface. Tap quickly with one index finger about 3 or 4 times,
then switch to your other index finger.

..................................Baseball....................................

Level: Alcatraz
Where: The exercise yard. Where the bullseye launch takes place.

Skate up to the mound of the little baseball diamond to start the game. A ghost
will hurl green balls at you, and all you have to do is press X at the right
time. It does actually take a few minutes to get the time down. You only get
money if you hit it over the wall in front of you for a home tun.

...............................Bitch slappin'.................................

Level: London
Where: Under the bridge.

In perhaps the worst minigame of them all, this one has you betting on which ho
can bitch slap the other one to the ground first. What genius is responsible
for this gem? It's completely random so just pick a ho and watch the show.

............................Monkey Poo Dodgeball..............................

Level: Zoo
Where: The giraffe cage. Go inside the door behind the giraffe.

3 monkeys, 30 seconds, and a whole lot of poo. The best strategy is to just
stay in the center. Most of the time, the poo will miss you by a mile, but you
need to stay alert when there are 2 monkeys chunking at the same time.

................................Rhino fights..................................

Level: Zoo
Where: The rhino cage.

Talk to the guy standing by the 2 rhinos. He'll ask you to wager on which rhino
gets knocked down when they collide. You can choose the left one, the right
one, or both. It's like the game in London, meaning it's totally random so just
pick a rhino and make some money.

................................Egg catching..................................

Level: Zoo
Where: The bird cage.

Skate over to the straw hat in one of the corners. You'll use the hat to catch
the bird eggs that drop from 3 birds sitting on a rail over your head. Stay
under the center bird and you'll be in the perfect position to catch eggs from
all 3 of the birds. Just move to the left or right, carch the egg, then move
back to the center.

..............................Target Practice.................................

Level: Carnival
Where: Turn left when the level starts, and skate down to the row of booths.
      Skate up to the shooting range with the rifle leaning against it.

You don't have any control over where the gun is aimed, you only control when
to shoot. You get more points for hitting moving targets, so only focus on
them. To shoot something, look for the button symbol on it. If the symbol is
'X', press 'X' when the aiming crosshairs are on it to make the shot. The
closer the crosshairs are to the symbol, the better the chance you hit it.
