A GameFAQs Strategy Guide and ONLY for GameFAQs and those I have given
permission to. I will put their names on the bottom so don't lie!
This is a must for any FAQ, and if you haven’t noticed by now I’ll spell it

HAVE I MADE MYSELF CLEAR?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I just HATE people who copy/plagiarize other people’s work and call it their
own. What is plagiarism you ask? It’s the technical word for the stealing
of other people’s work. It’s also ILLEGAL in every state and country.
Patchwork plagiarism is also illegal. This means that someone copies someone
else’s work, changes a few words and/or paragraphs, and claims that it is an
original work. In other words: DON’T DO IT without my permission!!!!!!
Over time, I've gotten tired of all these sites asking to use my FAQ's.
People ask, "I read all of your FAQ's. Can I use them on your site?" First
off, I doubt anyone would really read through ALL of my FAQ's. They probably
just looked at my contributor page and thought they'd get an already written
FAQ, without doing any work. Then, I'd have to go and update all of my
FAQ's.
So therefore, my FAQ's will ONLY be displayed on sites of my choosing. The
sites that already have permission to use my FAQ's may keep on using them,
but from now on, my newest FAQ's will belong to GameFAQs ONLY, and my own
site. Other sites will be sites with special privileges, and will only get a
FAQ of mine if I contact them personally.
A little background information on this FAQ:
As a little kid, you may have played a slider puzzle game. A description of
this game is a bunch of squares that are all jumbled up. You have to slide
the squares into place to form a picture. Well, in The Legend of Zelda: The
Wind Waker, there are several of these puzzles in this game. This FAQ is
here to help you solve these puzzles are earn some extra cash in the process.
Page width of this document:
This FAQ is best viewed in MS Word, Courier New, size 10 font, with 1 inch
margins around the document. Apparently, when I change the margins in Word
to 1 inch all around, it resets the left and right margins to .92 inches.
Just to let you know.
As mentioned above, I will not give anyone my FAQ's so don't ask for them.
Also, I do NOT like dumb questions. Please do NOT ask me about anything that
is already covered in the FAQ. In some of my FAQ's, I included a FAQ section
for the most Frequently Asked Questions. Please look there, and look at the
content of the main FAQ, and if you still don't understand, ask the message
board. Personally, I do NOT like questions, period.
Also, do NOT ask me anything about sequels, other games in a series, or
anything within those lines. If you HAVE to ask me a question, keep it
within the game I made a FAQ for. Praise is also accepted, but don't ask for
a response, because I won't give you one.
Honestly, I get enough junk mail day after day, and I am sick of it. I check
my e-mail every day, but I would rather keep my inbox as small as possible.
Also, don't try to sell my anything, as your e-mail will be deleted the
moment I see it. Thank you, and good day.
Final Version: Added a new e-mail policy and distribution policy. Everything
seems to be complete as of now.
Version 1.1: www.gamenotover.com can now use my FAQ.
Version 1.0: What you're reading now. Everything's complete as far as I
know.

**********************1) Getting to the puzzle game *************************
*****************************************************************************
To start off, you'll need to know where the game is. If you start out at
Forest Haven, go one island north and one island west. But before we go
here, you'll need to own the oasis. Therefore, you'll need a deed. Mrs.
Marie is the current owner of the estate, but you'll need to coax her into
giving it to you.
Start out by talking to Mrs. Marie and she'll mention a gang of troublesome
children. Talk to the children, and they'll give you a challenge - playing a
game of hide and seek. Here's their locations:
1) Behind the bomb shop. Sidle the wall to get back there.
2) Behind the tombstone where the dancing guy is.
3) Behind a bush on a ledge. The ledge is close to the docks.
4) Up a tree near the docks. Use your telescope to find him. Head bash that
tree.
Now, go and tag everyone and they'll give up. Talk to Mrs. Marie again that
you made them listen and she'll be ecstatic. Go back out of the school and
talk to the Killer Bees. They say that Mrs. Marie is into Joy Pendants.
You'll need to give her 20 pendants. The easiest way to get the in to find a
bunch of goblin guys. L-Target them and use you grappling hook on them.
You'll get Joy Pendants from them.
After collecting 20 Joy Pendants, hand them over to Mrs. Marie. She'll give
you a deed. Go to the island mentioned previously. Show the butler-door the
deed and he'll let you inside the house. Inside the house is the sliding
puzzle on the wall.

Here's a quick map. The "/" represents the open square at the starting
point. Every empty space is a square we haven't worked on.
This isn't hard to do. Just move the square around until that square is in
that spot. Never move this square from this point on. This is what the "X"
represents. After you "lock" this square, find the squares that are adjacent
to it.
And now, make sure you never move those squares again. Let's work with the
ones right next to them.

The last step is easy. Just move the last 4 squares around in a circle until
the puzzle is complete. If you've done everything right until this point,
the puzzle will finish. You may have to rotate the last 3 pieces a few
times.

After every puzzle, you win 50 rupees. After the very last puzzle, you win
200 rupees. There are 16 puzzles, so the total comes to 950 rupees! This is
the best way to get money once you know what you are doing. For one, the
game is free (compared to the battlesquid game and the cannonball launching
game) and it will only take about 1-2 minutes to finish when you get really
good.
