If this guide is directly copied then it will be reported and you will be in
deep, deep trouble. There are two key ways of avoiding this from happening and
also get to copy this site: Permission and Credit, You MUST do those two laws
before letting off the guide. If you do ask for permission but don't give any
credit you'll be in trouble, and if you copy the guide without permission then
you'll be in deep trouble no matter how much credit you give, and if you do
neither, you'll be in seriously deep trouble. However if you do both then you
will be fully allowed to copy the guide, demanding you copy excactly.

Here is the story from the 'The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning' manual:

THE LEGEND BEGINS...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the Year of the Dragon, in a world beyond the realms, the Guardians awaited
the birth of a purple dragon destined to restore balance to the world. But the
Dark Master knew of this as well and sent forth a legion of his minions to
destroy the Dragon Temple and prevent the birth of this special dragon.

SEVERAL YEARS LATER...

When Spyro, as a young dragon, leaves his home in search of the truth about
his past, he makes a schocking discovery - the future of the world rests on
his wings. In a race against time, Spyro must realize his destiny and learn
what it takes to be a hero if he is to stop the Dark Master's latest creation,
Cynder!

There are four breaths in this game, and you must master all four to beat
Cynder!

NOTE: Notice the green bar below your health bar? As you use your breath, this
starts emptying, so monitor the bar carefully.

FIRE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ahh, the true breath of all dragons: fire. Though you should know when to use
this deadly attack. You get this breath half way through the first fight with
Cynder's main attackers.

UPGRADES:

1 - Fire Blast of the Blazing Skies
Scorch the bad guys with a fuller, hotter breath that won't fizzle out.

2 - Fire Blast of the Scorched Earth
Turn up the heat on your flames to see enemies run around with their pants
    on fire.

3 - Dragsooth's Fire Blast of the Eternal Inferno
This ultimate burning force explodes out of Spyro's mouth like a fiery
    volcano.

NOTE: You see how 1 says that it won't 'fizzle out'? Well, if you're in a
tight spot, out of breath, a slight hope is to use the small, slow and
extremely weak fire shot.

ELECTRICITY
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although having great range and upgrades, this, I have to say, is the weakest
of breaths, and not very helpful for the 'Evasion' move. Still, it may come in
handy! You learn this by getting a far shot by the first fire tower in Dante's
Freezer.

UPGRADES:

1 - Electric Stream of Surging Currents
Fry your foes and throw them around using this super-charged zapper.

2 - Electric Stream of Slithering Viper
More voltage will give the goons a shocking surprise! Toss them around
    like toys.

3 - Icklemar's Almighty Electric Stream
You wanted lightning? Well here's the whole thunder storm!

ICE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ice is a slightly amusing, though not helpful to all enemies, breath. If you
ice a small enemy, it will be trapped in a snowball, giving yourself an easier
defence. If you ice some medium enemies, then they'll freeze for a short
moment. If you ice big enemies/leaders, you won't get very far. You get this
when Kane nearly dies.

1 - Ice Stream of Chilled Rapids
Give the bad guys a cold shoulder with more freezing power.

2 - Ice Stream of the Midnight Frost
These frosty streams can spray entire enemy gangs with a winter coat.

3 - Bissthalan's Hypothermic Ice Stream
Direct from the ice age! Unleash rivers of ice over everything that stands
    in your way.

EARTH
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Earth, Earth, Earth. Comes first place out of all breaths! With this heck of
an 'Earth Shot', you can hurt guys real bad, and sometimes even push some into
they're doom! You get this in the middle of the bell tower room in Munitions
Forge.

1 - Earth Shot of the Trembling Cliffs
A thundering blast of earth sends enemies tumbling backwards.

2 - Earth Shot of the Quaking Valleys
This double sonic boom is powerful enough to rock the mighty!

3 - Yangdrithis's Shattering Earth Shot
Become a walking earthquake, and blast your enemies into tomorrow!

!!£$%-\/-£$%-\/-£$%-\/-£$%-\/-£$%-\/-£$%-\/-£$%-\/-£$%-\/-£$%-\/-£$%-\/-£$%-\/

Ofcourse, to beat Cynder you can't win with just upclose attacks, you need
ranged, powerful breath attacks.

NOTE: One secondary breath attack does do in your breath meter quite a bit.

FIRE BOMB
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Remember that old flame bomb you got back in Spyro: A Hero's Tail? Well, this
is basically it, except it has a MUCH bigger explosion. You learn this from
Ignitus in the middle of the Fire Dojo.

1 - Fire Bomb of Smoke and Flame
What's better than a Fire Bomb explosion? An even bigger one!

2 - Fire Bomb of Melting Magma
Add power, sprinkle in some shrapnel and you've got a bomb with a nasty
    kick.

3 - Malak's Fire Bomb of the Burning Plains
Break up the party for Cynder's goons with the mother of all explosions!

ELECTRIC ARC
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a shot that can kill some enemies in one arc! Aim at an enemy, and
don't worry if you miss, the arc will then jump all over the place getting as
close to that enemy as possible! Once this hits, the enemy will be trapped
inside an electric ball, being zapped! You learn this from Volteer in the
middle of the Electric Dojo.

NOTE: Makes space for great combat moves!

1 - Electric Arc of the Static Shock
Bad guys can't run or hide from these heat-seeking bolts of thunder.

2 - Electric Arc of Crackling Silence
Imprison your enemies in an electrical cage of lightning for easy air
    combos!

3 - Penagar's Thundering Electric Arcs
This all powerful, crackling electricity will stop at nothing!

ICE SHARD
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The least used element attack of all, the ice shard. It's basically a ranged
iced attack, only it can't freeze. Seriously, even the smallest of enemies are
unfrozen by it's patchetic chill. You learn this from Cyril in the middle of
the Ice Dojo.

1 - Ice Shards of the Cutting Crystal
These rapid fire shards can pierce through even the toughest armor.

2 - Ice Shards of the Biting Tooth
Perfect if you're in a tight spot, because these sharp shards can also
    bounce off walls!

3 - Hydrax' Ice Shards of Arctic Hail
These giant, frosty shards of ice will crush anything they come up
    against!

EARTH BOMB
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This bundle of fun joy is generally a greeny bomb that once it hits something,
it explodes into a sweeping volcano. Plus, I suggest upgrading this to upgrade
3 as soon as possible. Because that massive storm will swipe enemies up from
quite a long distance away. You learn this from Terrador in the middle of the
Earth Dojo.

1 - Earth Bomb of the Wandering Whirlwind
A winding tornado will send your enemies flying into the sky.

2 - Earth Bomb of the Whipping Winds
This terrifying twister puts the bad guys in a spin!

3 - Hargen's Earth Bomb of Spinning Terror
The vortex of doom! Few can escape its whipping winds.

Notice that purple bar that keeps on filling at the top left around the
picture of the selected element? That's your fury meter. And once that is
filled up and your completely outnumbered, just hit that one magic button at
the very back, very right of your controller.

NOTE: Upgrade names not official.

NOTE: To upgrade the fury attack of one element, you must fill the meters on
that element completely (on the Level Up Screen).

FIRE FURY
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1 - Fire Fury Explosion of flamable soldiers
Hit that button to gather the closest of fire and burn Cynder's goons to a
    crisp.

2 - Fury of Ishlandur's Final Stand
Watch as the time-bomb of doom swipes enemies to oblivion!

After the fury attack, a few flames still hold around Spyro. Burn the enemy
without using your mouth!

ELECTRIC FURY
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1 - Storm of Crackling volts
Zapping is one thing, electrocuting is the whole new generation!

2 - Fury of Angtor's Raging Storm
How about passing all the energy through to the bone?

After the fury attack, a few volts still hold around Spyro. Zap the enemy
while it lasts!

ICE FURY
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1 - The true power of weather!
Stick the goons to this icy new carpet until they shatter!

2 - Fury of Perisher's Unending Blizzard
Brrrr... Fr--Fr--Freeze the w--w--walls and fl-fl-floors and ceiling to
    r--r--reach unfound temp--temp--temperatures.

After the fury attack, some icicles still holds round Spyro. Make the enemy
'chill out'.

EARTH FURY
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1 - Avalanche of tumbling earth
Squash or knock out the enemy with the rocks that really hurt.

2 - Fury of Kytheron's Wrath of Nature
Hmm... leaves are normal. Put in some tornados and replace rocks with
    boulders.

After the fury attack, some deadly leaves still hold around Spyro. Show them
that Mother Nature only finishes, when it finishes.

Here are the melee moves suggested by the game, and are in the manual.

Basic Melee hit: It's easy, just melee once. You asking why it hardly does
anything? It's simple, duh.

Horn Knock Up: Just holding a melee a little longer will actually knock the
enemy in the air, making way for air combat. ...Yes - it's essential... and
simple.

Melee "Knock up" Combo: Hitting the same button - same enemy - four times may
cause them to be triple-whacked and ascended. No, wait, it does.

Tail Strike: Double-jump and hold the button to do this move only useful once
in the game: when it's introduced to you.

Air Combo: Generally ascend enemy, ascend Spyro, whackity-whack-whack

Air Combo + Knockback: Ahh, my old favourite. Basically the air combo only
it's whackity-whack-knock back

Gems, gems, gems. Better now; they're not collectables, and there's no more
Moneybags to 'bribe' them from you.

Red Gems: Notice that long red bar up the top there? That's your health bar...
Yes, you heard me right, a health bar - Sparx is not the health meter yet.

So... ya sayin' that "Dis is duh laytest Spiro gayme n' it maeks noo sense two
say 'not yet'." Wrong! You heard? This is a PREQUEL, not another SEQUEL.

*Ahem*... red gems refill your lost health.

Green Gems: Notice that long green bar up the top there? That's your breath
meter... Yes, you heard me right, a breath meter - Spyro does not have
unlimited health yet.

So... ya sayin' that "Dis is duh laytest Spiro gayme n' it maeks noo sense two
say 'not yet'. Hay, whatcha dooin' wiff da gun in ya haaaaaaAAAAAAAAAH!"
Wrong! You heard? This is a PREQUEL, not another SEQUEL.

*Ahem*... using breath empties the breath bar, which can be refilled with
green gems.

Blue Gems: On the start menu there is an option called 'Level Up'. On the
Level up screen, select a top element to upgrade the normal fire/elec/ice/
earth breaths; or select a bottom element to upgrade the secondary elemental
breath. Blue gems fill up the large circle in at the bottom left, you can
fuel this energy into the selected attack to upgrade it. The energy pool never
maxs out, so build it all up to a boss or something if you wish. Press X to
upgrade.

Once you've fully upgraded that attack don't leave it forever! You can use it
to max out that element to upgrade it's Fury attack.

Purple Gems: Purple circle around the selected element picture? It's a good
thing! Collecting purple gems fills up your fury meter. And once it gets all
the way round to where it started, it will flash and hit the magic button to
do you know what!

Normal levels are levels... which are normal. Within each normal level there
are many enemies, a source for a new breath (excluding last) and a boss that
follows on from it. That's pretty normal of a videogame if you ask me.

Uh... that's pretty much all I have to say... Oh yeah! They're the biggest
levels of all kind.

There are four dojos in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, each one
representing an element. Don't believe me? Well, you see them in a cutscene
overlooking the dragon realms, dontcha!

Dojos are training arenas with enemies simply put as dummies. After beating a
boss, you get taught about the most recently earned breath by a dragon in the
dojo of that element. Only once all four dragons are free, they may gather
round a pool which you'll find more about.

In the first dojo, not only do you learn of fire, but you also learn about
melee combat and air combat. At the end you learn Fire Fury. You even get to
fly afterwards!

In the second dojo, you learn of electricity. At the end you learn Electric
Fury.

In the third dojo, you learn of ice. At the end you learn Ice Fury.

In the fourth and final dojo, you learn of breath. At the end you learn Earth
Fury. After this, your training is complete, and you're ready to fight Cynder!

Dojos:
Fire Dojo
Electric Dojo
Ice Dojo
Earth Dojo

Although there are only two flight levels in the game, they are really good
and fit in well. These are when Spyro flies off his feet and soaring through
the air!

During these, you can Speed Up (which is needed in the second one), Slow Down,
barrel roll for defense and even fire heat-seaking missiles! You must fly
through with permanent survival or end up back where you started. The game
will automatically keep you flying forwards, though you still need to do all
of the work.

At the end of each normal level, there is a boss level. Each boss would take
30 to 50 fire bombs to defeat. Not only that, but the hitpoints are also
divided into groups of 3. Once you defeat the green boss health bar, you're
far from done, and have to take care of the yellow! After the yellow bar, the
red bar. And after the red bar you win!

Not only that, but you will then save a dragon and you'll be taken back to
learn about a particular breath (see Dojos).

Two exceptions here:

1. No new dragons freed for teaching after Cynder battles.
2. Last boss level is actually a bonus with a boss, but it will be counted as
a boss level due to its shortness.

dragon thingy that is told to have been extremely special. His born away from
where he originally came.

Sparx
-----
Since 'Spyro the Dragon' apparently happens about 30 years after this,
characters have different personalaties. Such as Sparx here being a very
sarcastic and 'coolish' character. Sparx grew up with Spyro and was even born
the same day!

Ignitus
-------
Ignitus is not only the narrator of the game, but also stars in it. Ignitus
looked after Spyro until the Dark Armies came and he set him across a river to
safety. Ignitus escapes from the dark armies, even though his friends don't,
and is master of fire (hence the name Ignitus which is Latin for something to
with fire).

Volteer
-------
After being captured by the dark armies, Volteer is sent to be guarded by the
'Ice King'. Spyro must defeat the ice king to save this very fast and formal
speaking dragon. The 'volt' in Volteer means that he's master of electricity.

Cyril
-----
Also being captured by the armies, Cyril, in my opinion, is probably the most
boring character of them all. Spyro must defeat the large but weak Stone
Sentinel to free Cyril and learn about ice.

Terrador
--------
In black and white, Terrador is the only different looking one from the other
three dragons, due to his largeness. He is the last captured dragon and you
must defeat Steam to free him. By the 'Terra' part, you may be able to easily
tell he's master of Earth.

Cynder
------
Under the creation of the Dark Master, Cynder is the boss of the game and you
have to fight her TWICE! Yep, you heard (read) me, she's a she. Cynder may
seem like a deliberatley horrible dragon, but is she...?

Dark Master
-----------
Obvious, he's master of evil and if you had to defeat him the world would be
too nice and aliens would realise and set a war on us.

Ice King
--------
Being as on the Dark Master's side as he is, this easy boss is the first and
is the king of ice (duh)! He can do icy powers and controls... ice. He also
guards Volteer.

Stone Sentinel
--------------
A big rock creature, the Stone Sentinel (a.k.a. 'The God of the Shrine') is an
evil-doer and is under control of the tribe called the 'Atlawa'. No, they
don't attack you, but certainatly the sentinel and his rock monsters do very
rough. It also guards Cyril.

The Conducter
-------------
On the caboose of the following boss 'Steam', 'The Conducter' and his two
little friends like to be chased by you through the tracks. Near the end of
the battle, the caboose of Steam crashes and The Conducter is killed. You then
have to run away from steam.

Steam
-----
Originally carrying The Conducter, Steam is nowhere near done yet. His first
wave of hitpoints as he rides around a circle-crossroad arena will be as easy
as the other bosses. His second wave noticeably harder, and his third will
have you crying if you die near the end of it.

So... that's about it. Yes, I know, each enemy in the game has a different
name, but do you really expect me to waste space doing that?

Here we are, just press 'New Game' (obviously) on the Main Menu, and just go
through all the info until you come to the beginning cutscene.

NOTE: 'narr' means narration

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignitus (narr): In the Year of the Dragon, in a world beyond the realms, I,
like all the others, awaited the birth of the dragon of whom the prophecies
foretold. But the Dark Master heard the prophecies as well. I should have
hidden the eggs long before, but I... I thought we were ready, I thought they
were safe... oh... how I was wrong.

Volteer: Save them! The Dark Armies have come!

Ignitus burns a hole in the wall and escapes through a passage and flies with
Spyro's egg to a near river and cups him in some basket type thing

Ignitus: May the Ancestors look after you. May they look after us all.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another cutscene...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Text: Sierra Presents
A Krome Studios Production
starring Elijah Wood
David Spade
and Gary Oldman as Ignitus

After a bit more of river flowing...

Ignitus (narr): Eventually, the egg came to rest in a distant swamp, where a
family of dragonflies gathered 'round, wondering what magnificent creature
could possibly live inside.

Spyro's egg starts hatching

Ignitus (narr): They didn't have to wonder for long.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignitus (narr): What emerged from the egg frightened them at first, but
finally amazed and astonished them.

Spyro: ...eight, nine, ten... here I come!

Ignitus (narr): It was a purple dragon, who they eventually adopted and raised
as one of their own. They named him Spyro and he grew up alongside Sparx, the
young dragonfly who was born the same day. In fact, the two were almost like
brothers. And a more oddly-matched, yet compatible pair of brothers the world
has never seen.

Spyro running after Sparx during Ignitus' previous speech

Sparx: Never catch me this time, purple boy!

Ignitus (narr): As for Spyro, he, like all of us, accepted the world into
which he was born, believing he was one of them. A big purple one of them,
true, but one of them nontheless.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

...And, finally, we get to start.

Unfortunately, we cannot move yet, but if you can't be bothered to just look
at the bottom of the screen, here's whatcha have to do:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Use the Right Analog Stick (R) to take camera control and find Sparx.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, do so and push your Right Analog Stick to left and you'll see Sparx. Now
to the right and finally back into the middle.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro: I see you, my little glowing friend.

Sparx: Seeing and catching are two different things, uh big boy.

Sparx flies off

Spyro: Yeah, you better run.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: In future, if you wish to skip a cutscene, about 5 to 10 seconds through
one, just hit L1.

Now we're back in control... with another obviously neccesary tip.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Move the Left Analog Stick (L) to move Spyro.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go forward (if you wish, you can pointlessly hit some mushrooms spread around)
and when you come to the slope, walk up it all the way to the top to find
Sparx and another tip.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Press the (X) button to jump.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now continue up the slope all the way to the cave with no top where Sparx will
be the other side of.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: What's the matter Spyro, you can't fly? Oh that's right you walk
everywhere. Hmm, that's too bad.

Spyro: *Chuckle* You're toast when I catch you!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No, you can't yet breath fire.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hold (R1) to charge
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The tip has a reason - charge along the branches sticking through the wall in
line 'til the other end. If you don't charge, the branches will let go of you
and you'll fall and have to climb up again.

Now just walk right from the cave and laugh when you see Sparx eaten.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Ahhh, must be tough to lose all the time, Sp--aah!

Sparx gets caught by frogweed

Sparx (muffled voice): Alright, let me outta here, you overgrown fungus!
Spyro, seriously, lend me a hand here, will ya brother?

Spyro: Geez, Sparx, I dunno. Frogweed's gotta eat too.

Sparx (muffled voice): Spyro, whack it! Do something. I'm your buddy... my
wings are getting mouldy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press (O) to do the melee attack. Hit the frogweed several times to defeat it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do so and whack the frogweed quickly three times. (NOTE: If you get killed by
the frogweed, I'm guessing your either dead yourself or you're controller is
not working. If not, you'll get nowhere in the game with that 0 effort.)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx flies out of frogweed as it dies and bangs into Spyro

Sparx: Blegh! Now I smell almost as bad as you. Heh, heh. And that's pretty
bad. See ya later sucker!

Sparx flies off

Spyro: So much for gratitude.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press (O) to melee the barrier
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Melee the barrier to go into a small area of 5 or 6 frogweeds. If you think
"Woah, this must be the hardest battle in the game", *chuckle* man, are you
wrong!

Since the melee attack can hit more than one enemy at a time, you'll have them
drowning in no time! A tip will now pop up. A pointless one for this place.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Collect red gems to restore your health
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go right to smash another barrier over to Sparx to find yet another cutscene
(don't worry, this is the only level absolubetly jam-packed with them).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro: Hey, that's cheating! We're not allowed in there!

Sparx: Pffft... Excuses, excuses. Catch up or give up, chunky!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press (X)(O)(O)(O) to do the triple tail whip to smash open the barrier
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do so by running up, jumping and hitting circle thrice to smash the enormous
teeth off the enormous skull originally from an enormous animal and go through
to the most pointless cutscene of all pointless cutscenes.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro: Where's that little gnat gone now?

Sparx: Has anyone seen a giant purple thing around here? I seemed to have lost
mine.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just walk through the swampy cave killing a few frogweed on the way to Sparx,
then follow him some more killing more frogweed to where he stops.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: You know, this is getting a little boring-- AAAAAAH!!

Sparx gets caught by a Swamp Leader

Spyro: Sparx!

Leader: I thought all you guys was gone.

Sparx: You miserable coward, let me go!

Leader: Grrrr, *LOL*. Don't let him get away.

A couple of small swamp soldiers jump down and Spyro glares at them
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So... we now go into a big battle, just discovery frogweeds aren't the only
enemies in the game, but here's some of the large Dark Army.

So, now melee each good attacking SSS (small swamp soldiers) 5 times to kill
each. As soon as you hit one once some more SSSs jump down for more fighting.
Kill all of these and go through about 15 or so more to see that Leader throw
some dynamite.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Melee the dynamite to knock it away before it explodes
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since you'll probably be moving around the whole time (and the dynamite
explosions are very small) these should be no trouble. That's unless if they
surround you, then you'll need to melee at least one. (Also, try to make some
of the SSSs be caught in the explosions!)

Deal with about as many SSSs as you already have until you come to the end of
the battle.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Let me outta here and fight me like a... thing... whatever you are. You
pathetic wretch!

Leader: Nnnn, I've had about enough of you!

Leader raises foot to stamp on Sparx

Spyro: Sparx, look out! Noooooo...

Spyro quickly breaths fire and scares off Leader and two other SSSs

Sparx: Woah!... Was that fire, dude?

Leader: Take care of 'em... I gotta report to Cynder!

Leader runs off
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So now just fightin' a few more SSSs. Don't use your flame breath on all of
them, since this will empty out your breath meter. Also note that if you go on
the Main Menu you can go on Level up screen (no point, though).

So, just flight off them annoyin' monkeys until they're all gone and the music
goes back to normal.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Get me outta here, Spyro... I think my wings are singed.

Spyro whacks Sparx's cage

Spyro: You okay?

Sparx: You almost torched me, dude... Wait...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back home.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: You breathed fire! So I'm just about ready to blow the top off that
place and kick that guys booty, when Spyro let loose with some serious flame,
dude... No Joke. Flames. From the mouth.

Spyro: I was just trying to help.

Sparx: Ha ha, some help. You nearly turned me to ashes, dude. Mom, dad, you
shoulda seen him. He came out breathing fire... alright? I tell you, it was
crazy!

Flash (Sparx's Dad) and Nina (Sparx's Mum) look at each other in a disagreeing
way

Sparx: You don't believe me? Spyro, tell 'em...

Spyro: It's true, dad. I swear. I just got real mad, opened my mouth, and
whoosh... flame city.

Flash: It's not that, Spyro. I believe you both. It's just that your mother
and I knew this day would come.

Spyro: What day?

Flash: The day when we would have to tell you the truth.

Ignitus (narr): So that was the night that Spyro learned he wasn't a dragonfly
after all. But in fact an exilr from an unknown, distant land.

Spyro: So.. you mean.. I'm not your real son?

Nina: You are our real son. It's just that you came from somewhere else. Far
away, where wars rage on and on, and the innocent seem to always pays the
price.

Ignitus (narr): It wasn't long after that night that Spyro decided to venture
forth and find his home.

Spyro moping along with his head down

Sparx flies in

Sparx: So that's it, huh? Leaving Sparx behind at the old homestead? Not a
care in the world, don't look back.

Spyro: This is your home, Sparx, but I just found out that my home is out
there somewhere... and I've got to find it. Besides, I'm not leaving you
behind. I'm just leaving you where you belong.

Sparx: Well I though I belonged with you, 'coz I'm always with you. But I
guess I was wrong, huh? I'm sure I'm wrong on a lot of things. You know what?
You're right, I'm wrong.

Sparx flies out

Flash: Don't worry about him, Spyro You know how hotheaded he can be. You'll
see him when you get back. Now, now, son, keep your head up, your nose clean,
and use that breath of your wisely. All gifts come with a price.

Nina: Don't listen to your father's preaching, Spyro. Just be yourself. It's
all any of us can do.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignitus (narr): So, hard as it was, Spyro left the only family he'd ever known
and journeyed on. To where? He did not know.

Shows some SSSs and MSSs (Medium Swamp Soldiers) jumping over the chasm above
This attracts Spyro's attention
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The game will finally save and you'll be confronted with three frogweed, kick
their butts then explore this area if you wanna kill another two. After this,
venture up the slope to a mushroom which will pop up alive as a spider! Just
whack it four times then tap square on it and that's all ya need to do.

Go up to another 'Mushroom Spider', kill it then go up to where a new tip will
come up.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press (X)(X) to double jump and hold (X) afterwards to glide
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, double jump and continue to hold X while pushing forward to glide to the
other side.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx flies in

Sparx: Spyro, so, ah, me and the old man were chattin' and this whole
belonging thing, you know, came up, and we decided that... best friends belong
together. Even if one of them is purple and does have some weight issues.

Spyro: Weight issues, huh? Well, at least I've never been turned into a
lantern.

Sparx: Oh please, lantern schmantern. Now let's see what's out there.

Sparx points down path
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, now Sparx will stay with you... helping you by being a sort of a lantern.

Continue forward to another pair of Mushroom Spiders and kill them both. Be
careful and try to attack both at once, or most likely be hit by their spin
attack. Continue round and at the tip of the steps three SSSs will run up with
an MSS.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press (X)(R1) to horn dive into enemies
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do so and jump then smash into one of the now two MSSs and continue to attack
them. An MSS only has about twice as many hitpoints as an SSS, but can throw
dynamite.

Another wave of about 5 SSSs and an MSS will attack and then a third and
finally a forth wave. After this the camera will concentrate round the corner.
The wall there will smash open and three 'Growths' will stomp in.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hold (L1) and (X) then use the (L) stick (<) or (>) to strafe
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry about earlier, I got mixed up. The move above is actually the evasion OR
in other words the strafe, and the one I talked about earlier I have no idea
of a name.

Anyway, rather than strafing, use my special L1 + L stick + SQUARE move to
make quick work on the Growths. Collect the gems they leave behind after
defeating one or come to the last one your breath meter will be empty. If you
find defeating the Growths too hard, just skip them and go where they came
from.

Jump onto the platform ahead and if you fall just defeat the enemies,
otherwise ignore them. Then when your the other side of the pit, get further
in so as not to be knocked down and quickly defeat the MSS then concentrate on
one SSS at a time.

Continue along until you get to the thorns. Sparx will gesture where to go.
Glide to the platform in the thorns and if you fail it will prick you back to
the start. Glide a further glide and one more short one to ground. Walk along
until the game takes over and you can relax.

WARNING: TWO EXTREMELY LONG CUTSCENES RIGHT AHEAD!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mysterious sound (probably Cynder): RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

Sparx and Spyro: Aaaah! Aaah Aaah! AAAAAAAAAAH!

Sparx: Breathe, Sparx old boy...

Spyro: What in the world was that?!

Sparx: I have no idea, but I'm going this way... far from it.

Spyro and Sparx run into a cave ahead

Ignitus (narr): ...Which brings us to the moment that Spyro's journey really
began. When he and I finally met... again... for the very first time... ahhh,
it's a long, long story.

(It definitely is)

Spyro and Sparx bump into Ignitus

Sparx: Woah ho! nd I thought you were a big one. Goodness.

Ignitus: *Gasp* You're... you're alive?... But it's too late, too late.

Spyro: Too late for what? Do you know me? Who are you? Where do you come from?
What are you? What are we? What am I?!?!

Ignitus: You mean you don't know?

Sparx: Does it sound like he knows.

Ignitus: Why, you're a dragon... When you were just an egg, it was my job to
protect you... it was my job to protect you all.

Spyro: There are others?

Ignitus: Others? There were. There were four of us, Guardians, that is, and we
had one job: to ensure that all the eggs were hatched. It was the Year of the
Dragon, after all, and our very survival depended on those eggs... but the
temple and grotto are now gone, overrun by...

Spyro: Temple? What temple? Can you take me? Can I see it? Where I came from,
I mean?

Ignitus: No, no. Who knows what forces occupy the temple now. What state it's
in. You don't understand. After they came for you...

Spyro: They? Who's they? And why did they come for me?

Ignitus: Because the prophecies spoke of a purple dragon, a dragon born only
once every ten generation. Ee-you.

Sparx: Ee-you? Does that mean him? Wait, this guy? Spyro's some special once
in a purple thing? Ahaha! I think you might have mixed that one up. Wooo,
that's a little... bit of a stretch. Ha ha, I've heard some a-doozies in my
day but, boy, that takes the cake!

Ignitus: Spyro, is it? Well, Spyro, I assure you that I am telling you the
truth. The Dark Armies attacked, intent on destroying the eggs and killing the
rest of us. They nearly succeeded... and then they'll lay seige on other
islands.

Ignitus looks up

Ignitus: We were at war.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shows map of Dragon Realms

Ignitus: For many years we fought all over the islands. Brutal clashes with
the armies of the Dark Master,

Shows Ignitus battling army

Ignitus: who was intent on preventing the prophecies from coming true.

Shows various scenes of other 3 guardians battling

Ignitus: The other three guardiands and I led our small but valiant forces
into battle after battle against our ruthless, mercenary foe.

Map stops

Ignitus: Then, when we were beginning to turn the tide... Cynder came.

Spyro: Cynder?

Ignitus: Yes, Cynder.

Map reappears

Ignitus: Cynder was... is... monstrous, horrific, ferocious, a black dragon
that fills the skies with terror, an unstoppable force of nature...

Sparx: Ah, yeah, you had me at ferocious. Listen, sounds like that thing that
was chasing us, Spyro.

Ignitus: Yes... she still searches for me... and years ago I watched as Cynder
plucked the other Guardians from the fields of battle, like so many ripe
grapes from a vine. Without them, our cause is lost. Only I, Ignitus, managed
to escape. Now that it matters, Cynders now rules all... and I sit here
wondering what might have been. What else I might have done.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just one more short scene

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Wow... sounds... fffun. I wanna hang out with this guy.

Spyro: Yeah, why have you given up? I just find out that I'm this special
dragon, and you tell me all is lost? That I have no home or family left?...
I've come way too far to give up now. I wanna see where I come from.

Sparx: Hold up, saviour boy, were you not listening to this guy?... He's
talking about... flying dragons, and war, and horrible-- this is bad stuff,
alright?... I don't know if we're hearing the same thing.

Ignitus: Yes, Spyro, it's not as simple as that. It's true, the prophecies
spoke of a purple dragon destined to put his stamp on this age, but the
prophecies didn't foretell the devastation that surrounds us now.

Spyro: Maybe you're right, but I'm willing to try. I wanna take the first
step.

Sparx: You're actually going to go along with this lunatic?!

Ignitus: Very well then... We'll go. You deserve to see your beginning...
before it all ends.

Ignitus and Spyro continue through caves

Sparx: Am I the only one sane here? He's telling us we're doomed alright?
That's when I go, ah, maybe we should go back before us with the flowers and
the fun stuff.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You're finally under control again, but go forward and you're not |(.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignitus: Cynder's soldiers must have knocked the other two statues out of
place... heathens.

Spyro: What other to statues?

Ignitus: On the other side of this door are two statues just like these. When
all four statues are positioned correctly, the door opens.

Sparx: Yeah, good. I was never good at geometry. So what do you want us to do?

Ignitus: Spyro, I need you to get in there and move the statues in place.

Spyro: Me? How?

Ignitus: There's a small tunnel that animals use to access the caves. Find it,
and use it.

Sparx: Yeah, animals, okay. You know what? You do that, and I'll wait here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Find the cave entrance used by animals and smash it open.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just go left and double jump up there then melee the entrance and you're done.
Go round the corner to a Mushroom Spider, you know what to do. Whack, Whack,
Whack, Whack, Flame.

Now go along to another and kill it then another and kill it. Go to the
stepped platforms and go along then to the right for another cave. Follow this
through destroying everything in your path until Sparx says...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Ooh looky over here!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Run up to the covered hole in the ground his gesturing.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Right, when in doubt break it... go nuts!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press (X)(X)(O) to peform the tail strike to smash through
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now do so and double jump then hit circle and you'll either accidently tail
whip or your smash down and tail strike the barrier below.

Now for another battle, this time with Mushroom Spiders! As the flee of
spiders flip down to the ground, smack 'em to death. Just note, when you hear
the spinning sound of a Mushroom Spider trying to spin you, either take the
risk and whack it or back away.

After defeating about 20, they'll stop coming down and do as the tip says.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Push against the statues and put them into place.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, run into the left golden dragon statue and run against it as it slowly
moves along and eventually it will get into its hole and be stuck there. Then
run against the second one and once it's in place the door will open.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignitus: Any trouble?

Spyro: A little insect trouble... nothing I couldn't handle.

Sparx: LITTLE insects?! My tail section.

Ignitus walks through the room to another closed temple door

Ignitus: (to the door) The past is prelude, tomarrow a dim promise. Allow us
entrance, do not reject us.

Sparx: Are you making that up?

Ignitus: It should open for us but there is a... disturbance. It seems my
fears have been realized: they've desecrated the interior as well. Guess we'll
have to open it the old-fashioned way. Make your way through the connecting
rooms, restoring every statue you can find.

Sparx: Hey, you know what? Let's don't and say we didn't. Why don't you do it?

Ignitus: You want my help?

Ignitus walks to where the spiders were coming from

Ignitus: Very well. Hop up.

Sparx: Alright... the old guy's coming to life!

Spyro hops onto Ignitus' back then his head into the caves

Ignitus: Careful, Spyro. Cynder's forces are surely on their way.

Sparx: Oh, goody.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Walk.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Have a look at this!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go to the big purple 'spirit gem' and melee it thrice to destroy it and get a
bunch of gems.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Hey Spyro, what was that about?

Spyro: I don't really know, I just felt like I had to hit it... and when I did
the power of a thousand suns surged through my body!

Sparx: Right, okay. Well you know what? You should really sleep better.
Y'know, I'm gonna stop buggin you, you really need to get eight hours.

Spyro: Forget I said anything. Let's go.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go right to find a few SSSs and then you should push the statue into its hole.
Run over to an opening and kill the spider at the bottom and then the one at
the top. Glide over from here to another cave and another dragon statue.

Get it into place then carry on down the path to meet with two more Spirit
Gems. Notice that some blue gems will burst out when you destroy one this
time. If you go onto the Level Up screen you can upgrade your flame breath a
little bit, though let's leave that to the next level.

Now go along to be greeted with thorns like those ones you had to go over
earlier. Glide to the platform in the midle then over to the door.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro breathes fire into the door and spins back to Ignitus

Ignitus: That's quite an entrance, young dragon.

Ignitus starts walking through the door

Ignitus: There might be hope for us yet.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Down to a couple more Spirit Gems.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro: What are these things?

Ignitus: These are Spirit Gems... a gift, from the Ancestors.

Spyro: What kind of gift?

Ignitus: A gift that speaks across generations... a gift that empowers you
with the spirit of the past, strengthening you with the wisdom of the ages.

Spyro: I feel more powerful already.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mysterious sound (probably Cynder): RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

Ignitus: Do you hear that?

Spyro: What is it?

Ignitus: Exactly what I feared. Look, Spyro, perhaps we should turn back.

Spyro: What?! After coming this far?!

Ignitus: If this door is closed, it means there are intruders behind. It's how
the temple protects itself.

Sparx: Ah, yeah. Doesn't work too well, does it.

Spyro: So what are you saying, Ignitus?

Ignitus: What I'm saying is the only way the door will open...

Sparx: Don't say it!

Spyro: ...is if the intruders *sigh* are kicked out of there.

Spyro and Ignitus walk along

Sparx: Didn't I just say don't say it?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you're stuck, just find Sparx. Notice the pillar that he's by is cracked?
Hit the pillar for a short
cutscene of that pillar falling on another falling on another falling to smash
the wall.

Go through the opening and go through the tunnel. You'll come out seing 3
SSSs, an MSS and another statue. Concentrate on the MSS and once his dead kill
the 3 SSSs.

After this, a Leader will send a couple more SSSs through and out to you. Kill
them as normal then continue through the tunnel to *Gasp* a Leader!

Leader's are one of the hardest and largest enemies in the game. They can
throw dynamite if you're far away, can cause elemental schockwaves (and
sometimes walls) from nearer. If you're right next to it and you're not quick
enough he'll whack you so hard that you lose between a quater and a third of
your health!!! Watch out!

Some of the time use my breath move I told you about and sometimes just try to
whack it without it whacking you. Try some advanced moves to make the job
really easy. If you can't escape from an incoming whack, quickly flame the
Leader and he'll stop. Once his dead continue down the tunnel.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Light the fuse to trigger the explosives.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So jump down to where 3 SSSs are asleep guarding the explosives and an awake
MSS who doesn't do anything. Burn the end of the long fuse for a bit and it
will start running down to the explosives. Take cover for the massive
explosion it makes.

The explosion will kill the SSSs but not the MSS. No worry though since you'll
only have to whack him once now.

Now just continue through the cave and you'll get back to Ignitus.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Leader, 2 MSSs and 4 SSSs run in and Spyro looks suprised

Leader: Well, Ignitus, we nabbed your Guardian buddies but you managed to
escape our clutches... until now!

Ignitus: Stand back, Spyro, and let me show what a dragon trained in the
ancient ways can do.

As SSSs run up, Ignitus breaths fire randomly and fires a flame bomb at the
enemies, killing 2 SSSs, then whacks Leader away and whips SSSs dead, Leader
comes running up and Ignitus pushing him into MSSs

Sparx: Woah! The big guy's got some moves!

Ignitus hits dodges and pushes Leader then MSSs and Leader charge up, Ignitus
covers then uses Fire Fury to finish them off

Spyro: Are you okay, Ignitus?

Ignitus: Yes,... as I get older it takes longer to recover...

Spyro: You were incredible, Ignitus. Can you show me how to do that?

Ignitus: Patience, young dragon. Soon enough you'll learn all I have to teach.
But right now...

Door flips open

...you must fight!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following battle will be easy if you watched Ignitus, but never mind since
you'll learn all those moves in a mo.

In the room will be a Leader, an MSS and 2 SSSs (also 2 Spirit Gems if you
need them). Defeat the SSs and a 2nd wave of 2 MSSs and 3 SSSs will jump down,
then a wave of an MSS and 4 SSSs. The forth and final one will involve the
Leader now charging up to you an an MSS and 2 SSSs. Defeat the SSs and then
the Leader.

Now quickly level up your flame breath to the Second Upgrade!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignitus: If Cynder's force were here, there will certainly be more of them in
the temple.

Starts walking to Level 2

Sparx: Oh goody.

Spyro: They won't be there for long!

Sparx: Wonderful... now he's getting cocky.

Two SSSs will charge up to you, so take quick care of them then an MSS and 4
more SSSs will rush up. Kill each then wait as Ignitus slowly walks round the
large statue to the other side of the Dojo.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignitus: Ahhh, home... sweet home.

Sparx: Spyro, we're not in Kansas anymore...

Spyro (looking over edge): What happened here?

Ignitus: ...This is what Cynder has done... Put all the islands under her iron
rule.

Spyro: I wanted to see where I came from... but I didn't know it was going to
be like this.

Sparx: Er, yeah, no offense, but this place is a bit of a dump.

Ignitus: This was once our home, Spyro... Together we can make it our home
once again... reclaim what's rightfully ours.

Spyro: What do you mean?

Ignitus: I mean that my time for heroics is past... but with your help, we
might be able to BEAT Cynder.

Spyro: I... I can't Ignitus. I just learned what I am.

Ignitus looks down at Spyro

Ignitus: You can, Spyro, you can. You are a purple dragon, a very special
creature. You've given me hope again. Now it's time to give hope to all of
them.

Spyro: I'm not sure what help I can be but... I'll try... I'll try.

Ignitus: Good. That's all I can ask. Now, come with me. I have something for
you. The style you used earlier is crude, archaic and obvious, Spyro, but you
got the job done. Not bad, considering you haven't been taught anything about
what it means to be a dragon.

Spyro: Thanks... I think.

Ignitus: But if you're going to have a chance against Cynder and her army,
you're going to need to learn a lot more.

Sparx: Oh good, school.

Ignitus: Unlike any school you've ever known, young friend.

Start walking in

Ignitus: Now... it's time to unleash the true dragon within you.

Giant statue starts lowering

Ignitus: Each of the Guardians is master of an element. I, as you may have
surmised, am master of fire. Pay attention and you may be someday too. Let's
begin.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry, I will not show the speeches or tips in the dojos, due to the fact that
there are too many to remember.

First up is an attack by 5 SDDs (small dojo dummy) and an MDD (medium dojo
dummy), rather than just meleeing them, just burn them to death since your
breath meter is unlimited here. Just burn them 'til the point that they all
fall dead. Yes, they can attack.

Before going back to Ignitus, collect the gems and if you wish start upgrading
your secondary fire breath (flame bomb - cannot yet be used but can be
upgraded).

Now go back to Ignitus to do the next thing. The reason why I recommended
upgrading your normal flame breath earlier is now known. The challenge is now
basically the same as the first, but that the SDDs will be running away from
you.

Breathe fire all the time to make this quicker, since all dojo challenges from
now on have a time limit! Once you get a dummy, just continue to burn it until
you hear the collapsing sound. Burn all about 6 to 8 SDDs before the unshown
time limit expires to win. Collect the gems then go back to Ignitus.

Next ones plain easy, go to the MDD in the middle of the dojo and hold the O
button as instructed to hit the MDD into the air. Go back to Ignitus.

Now you'll have to do what you just did though this time do a combo! Hold O on
the MDD to lift it, then quickly jump before it falls and hit O thrice to side
whack, front whack and push it down. Go back to Ignitus.

You now have to do something you already know: horn dive. As instructed, go up
to each dummy, jump then hit R1 to slam onto the SDD. Do this to all 6 SDDs to
win. Go back to Ignitus.

Now you must go to the MDD in the room and tap, not hold, the O button four
times to get the MDD into the air, then XOOO to do the air combo. Go back to
Ignitus.

Next up you'll have to hold O on the MDD then jump and this time hit R1 and
Spyro will kick it across the floor. Go back to Ignitus.

Now simply OOOOX and R1 to knockback instead of triple hit. Go back to
Ignitus.

Now for the hardest one! You have to Knock one SDD into another. Simple? No,
that's not all. You have to do that FIVE times before the time expires! Here's
a little tip: If you push right while air comboing an enemy, you can aim it
left, and go right to fire left. Aim quickly though before the SDD drops back
down again. Once you're finally done with this difficult challenge, go back to
Ignitus.

Now you'll have to knockback the MDD into the 5 SDDs. Not only that, but the
MDD can move and attack! Get it to run close to the SDDs, then hold O on it
and jump and knock it into all five SDDs to win. Go back to Ignitus.

Y'know that new fire bomb I told you about? Now you can use it! Simply press
Triangle to fire a fire bomb over the fire wall and into the wooden targets.
Bomb all four targets to win. Go back to Ignitus.

Now to use that fire bomb in combat! Stay on the ground to kill the 3 SDDs,
then, while avoiding the dynamite, use the evasion or double jump and throw a
fire bomb at the MDDs the other side of the fire wall. Continue to bomb them
until all 3 are dead. Now, rather than going back to Ignitus, go to the middle
of the room for the 'real challenge'.

You eventually have to use your Fire Fury, but first, you have to kill all the
SDDs. Whether it's burning, bombing or meleeing, just kill the dummies then
make sure to atleast collect the purple gems.

Purple gems fill up the purple meter called your fury meter. If you have
learnt a particular elemental fury, you can use it if your meter is full to
kill all the enemies in the area. Collect the purple gems to be presented with
another 4 SDDs. Then another 4 then another 4 and eventually your meter will
be filled up and the next wave will be several MDDs.

This is an example of a good time to use your Fury attack. As soon as the MDDs
pop up, hit R2 to turn invincible and start floating into the air. In a few
seconds a firey explosion will erupt from Spyro and kill all the MDDs. If you
upgrade the first and secondary breath of one element all the way, that Fury
attack will be better.

The statue will start re-rising from the ground and eventually bring you to
another cutscene.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignitus looking into green pool

Sparx: So what's with the pool, big guy?

Ignitus: If you must know, certain dragons have the ability to see visions...
the thoughts, memories, and dreams of others... and to see what's happening in
places far, far away. I am one such dragon, and in this pool the visions come
forth.

Sparx: Oh really, is that so? Okay... what am I thinking now?... What am I
thinking now? Okay, now? Now? Now, now, now, now, now, now?

Ignitus: I'm afraid it's not that easy, Sparx. It takes time, reflection and
patience. What I do see in the Pool of Visions is that Volteer, one of the
Guardians, is being held on Dante's Freezer. Spyro, while I look for details
on the others, I want you to venture there and find out what you can.
Remember, just look around. If you encounter Cynder, run... you're not ready
to face her yet.

Sparx: Okay, so when people are trying to kill me I run. Got it.

Spyro: But Ignitus, how'd we get there?

Ignitus (smiling at Sparx): I'm glad you asked.

Sparx: Why are you smiling. I don't like it.

Spyro: Let me get this straight, you're saying that I... can fly?

Sparx: Maybe you've been hanging in those caves a little too long, Old Man.
Spyro can't fly. We all know that.

Spyro: Yeah, a bit of fresh air might do you good. I've never flown in my
life!

Ignitus: It's you that will be getting some fresh air, Spyro. Now... close
your eyes, take a deep breath, and empty your mind... yes, yes, that's it. Now
feel the power of your ancestors coursing through your body. In times of
crisis they will come to you and teach you... unlocking powers you never knew
you had.

Sparx: Boy, this I gotta see.

Ignitus: Just forget everything you ever though you knew... forget yourself.
Only through forgetting will you remember what your ancient blood already
knows...

Spyro lifts into air

Ignitus: ...you can fly!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Congratulations on learning how to use advanced melee and fire attacks!!!

...And flying.

Time to fly!... To fly to Dante's Freezer, beat the Ice King, learn advanced
electricity breath, go to Tall Plains, beat the Stone Sentinel, learn advanced
ice breath, go to Munitions Forge... *ahem* To save Volteer.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Are you kidding! He's flying!

Spyro opens his eyes to find himself flying

Sparx: Welcome to the club, big guy!

Spyro: Would that be the annoying pest club?

Sparx: No, smart aleck, the flying club.

Spyro: Ha ha, Yeah, I could get used to this.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You're in da sky! The game will fly through for you, so all you need to do at
the mo is follow the tip if you wish.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Hold (L1) to Slow Down and (R1) to Speed Up
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's no point of doing this yet, unless if you wish to go through this
quickly. Soon enough, another tip comes up.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Press (Triangle) to fire homing missiles.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just after this, you'll start getting out of the clouds and down above the
sea. A weird giant turtle will swim along, don't worry about him. Soon enough,
SDDs being fired out of SFCs (Super Fire Cannon) will come towards you, now
you learn how to 'barrel roll' or in other words plainly 'evade'.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Hold down (L1) and push left or right with the Left Analog Stick and press
 (X) to barrel roll.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barrel roll away from the flying SDDs and if you wish use your homing missiles
since they'll charge up again after a couple of seconds. Fly through shooting
or charging and when you find an iceberg fall onto another, speed through the
gaps.

Basically, you have to survive to the end and if you die go back to the
beginning. The earthy land will soon be icebergs with more and more SFCs.
Eventually, you'll come to a large icy spike way with 2 Dreadwings flying
across, this will be the end.

Well, that was quick.

Ignitus (flashback): Dante's Freezer is a desolate arctic expanse that's
littered with the machinery of war... soldiers and weapons frozen forever in
the posture of destruction. You must find Volteer before he's lost forever.

Spyro wobbly flying

Spyro: How the heck do I land? Coming in too fast!

Sparx: This... doesn't look good.

Spyro: INCOMING!!

Spyro crashes with an "Ow"

Sparx: That's gonna hurt. Nice landing... ace.

Spyro: Yeah. Maybe this flying thing ain't for me.

Sparx: Well, it sure doesn't help that you're carrying all that weight.

Spyro glares at Sparx

Sparx: You know, throw a salad in every once in a while, You might be okay.

Spyro: Yeah, I think I'll stick to the ground for a while.

Sparx: Good idea.

Spyro walks a bit further

Spyro: Not exactly a friendly place, huh? Wonder where we should start.

Sparx: Well, I'm no hero like you, but maybe we should take that clearly
marked path leading to the interior.

Sparx checks out frozen fire soldiers

Sparx: Is it weird that that blinked at me?

Spyro: Just keep moving.

Fire Soldiers break free of ice

Sparx: Ice cubes alive!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yaaah! The Fire Soldiers are alive, either flame the SFSs (Small Fire Soldier)
or melee them. They have 5 hitpoints as with Cynder's soldiers but weirdly get
up after pushed down.

Now here's the war story: The evil fire lords have controlled the level and
taken over this land from the dragons long ago. Now Cynder's goons are also
after this land, so are at war with the fire lords.

Next turn around and go to the left where the catapult is, kill the SFS then
read the tip.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Melee the tree to get snowballs down and melee it at the catapult
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Why don't we use this thing to knock that bad boy down?

Spyro: Ha, ha. I knew I brought you along for a reason.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now melee the tree to the left to send 3 large snowballs down, kill the SIS
(Small ice Soldier) that comes charging up to you. Now roll a snowball by
'herding' it, into the large fire catapult and melee it to send it bombing the
large wall ahead.

Do this again... then again and the wall will be destroyed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro: That was a good idea... glad I thought of it.

Sparx: YOU, glad?! YOU?!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now go behind you to find 4 more Spirit Gems, whack 'em thrice each then go
from the catapult killing a SIS and go through the broken wall.

You are now confronted by an Ice Leader, who'll defend himself with an ice
wall, and several SISs. Load the nearby catapult and fire to hit the
explosives which'll kill them all, then go up and kill a surving MIS. The
Leader here tends to kill himself so he's not important. Another Leader coming
with 4 SISs and 2 MISs.

Kill the SISs as normal, then go further the MISs and kill them carefully. Now
a cutscene will show 2 dreadwings carrying exploding barrels containing 5 SISs
each. If you can, this would probably be a good time to use your Fire Fury,
unless if you're up for battle anyway. The Leader will destroy the ice wall
and run off.

Go round the now open corner and to your left you'll see a new enemy, the SIC
(Super ice Cannon). Don't worry, the ice barely hurts Spyro, so break down the
spikes and the fence to get to the cannon then smash it to bits. Collect its
gems.

Now go along the path to the right and you'll eventually come to another
cutscene.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cynder: RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

Sparx: You think that was Cynder?

Spyro: I sure hope so.

Sparx: What?!

Views sky to see Cynder (it is Cynder - I recognize her)

Spyro: Well, if it wasn't, it means there's more than one giant, evil dragon
around here.

Sparx: Oh yeah, I hope that was Cynder too.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That was Cynder, but there are still Dreadwings!

Go forward to find another new enemy, the LFS (Large Fire Soldier). Go up and
melee it, notice how it's health bar is orange? That's right, it has 2 layers
of hitpoints!!!

Melee it about 10 times for its first layer, you can't whack it up, though! If
it tries to axe you, quickly flame it to stop it, eventually it's first layer
is done. Now back away and use my flame and turn trick until it the skeleton
dies.

Kill a couple SFSs and go left through the passage to another LFS and couple
of SFSs. Kill the smalls first then full concentration of the large. Collect
all in this area then whack the tree in it.

Bring a snowball to the catapult and quickly fire it before an exploding
barrel hits you. This will destroy a SIC and 2 SISs and the scardey-cat Leader
from before.

Now go up to there, blowing up dynamite pointlessly if you wish, then head
North-East to where a fire watch tower is.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strike of electricity heads at Spyro

Sparx: Look out!

Spyro gets zapped

Sparx: Spyro? You okay, buddy?

Spyro electrocutes oncoming SFSs

Sparx: Wooo! I guess so.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- You have learned how to breathe electricity, which you can now upgrade on
the Level Up Screen. Find and save the Dragon Volteer to learn more on
electric breath.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yay! We now have electric breath! Don't bother upgrading it yet, though.

Zap 3 more oncoming SFSs which will continuously come out of the watchtower
until it's destroyed. Then melee the tree and roll a snowball to the catapult
to your right and melee the catapult to damage the watchtower.

Zap enemies the snowball along (running over attack SFSs) to the catapult. Do
not go near the watch tower yet or it'll electrocute you to death. Quickly get
the last snowball onto the catapult and eliminate the watchtower.

Kill the remaining SFSs then continue past the watchtower to a doorway and
when you come out the other end 4 SFSs and 2 LFSs will surround you. If you
have a full fury meter now, concentrate on getting layer 1 off the LFSs and
then use your fire fury to eliminate all the soldiers and skeletons.

Now back away from the exploding barrels which will release the exact same
assortment of enemies as just done. Once all are dead, a couple of dreadwings
will destroy the fire tower and a Leader with 2 SISs will come through.

Kill the SISs and then you can make quick work of the Leader by knocking him
off the edge of the cliff. Now go through to find a turn to make. Follow the
SIS into a bridge and :O, you'll be trapped!

A Dreadwing will drop a barrel containing several more SISs, clobber them then
a door at the other end will unlock :I. However, a Leader will guard the door!
Push him into the other MISs  then kill seversl SISs.

Once dead, throw the Leader into the 2 MISs again and continue to do this
until the MISs are dead. Now defeat the leader, easier WITHOUT the electric
breath.

Now run through the little gap in the corner of this 'room' to find yourself
in a second train track sorta place. Go along and eventually a whole load of
icicles will start falling. Charge along the track continuosly to avoid being
pricked and once you reach the end they'll stop.

A SIS will notice you and set the dynamite on a fire tower going. It will run
along and destroy the tower with the SFSs. Do not be relieved! A large battle
is coming up!

Go in and a couple of explosive barrels containing several SISs will fall. Do
NOT under any circumstances yet use the Fire Fury. Defeat the wave closest to
you and once you do another wave will come nearby. Defeat that for another
wave. Defeat that for another wave. Defeat the final wave.

Now the gate over there will open, go into this creepily open space and once
in the middle a door will open revealing a...

...FIRE SOLDIER ON A LARGE RHINOCEROUS (FSLR)!!!

Unfortunately, these are extremely tough enemies. Fortunately, this is one of
three in the game. Whack it, evade it, breath-spin it, do whatever you can to
it!

Eventually, the FSLR will keel over. Another four SFSs will run in, but not
only that, but the OTHER TWO FSLRS!!! You can now use your Fire Fury, but I
recommend saving it until the next bit, which is even harder. Work your way
through the 6 fire enemies until all are defeated.

Continue through the now open to you door to 3, count them, 3 LFSs! Whack them
one at a time until they all burst into skeletons with axes. NOW use the Fire
Fury to take off about a third of their health each.

Defeat the rest of them as normal and once defeated a Leader will run through
and zap the fire tower to pieces. Continue to where the leader was and go
along the third track easily.

In this room, go along and a MIS will run in and trap you in an elemental wall
in the middle. Avoid the dynamite and keep on throwing fire bombs at the MIS.
Waves of SISs will randomly pop out of the ground, take care of them smashing
the Spirit Gems when you need to.

After bombing the MIS to death, a Leader will run in with a couple more MISs.
The Leader will charge up to you, dodge this attack then whack the Leader into
the 2 MISs. Continue to do so and once the Leader is dead the elemental wall
will disappear.

Go through the door across another room to a darker room. Watch out for the
SISs falling from the sky and once you've taken care of him fire a bomb at the
MIS up high. He'll fall to his death and then you have to continue through the
gap.

Do the same as you just dead, kill SISs, bomb MIS, then go through the door.
Smash down the fencing and continue until a wave of SISs jump in. Defeat them
then triple tail strike the door to your right.

Run up to the Leader guarding another door and he'll spawn some SISs, kill the
Leader first, or he'll keep on spawning them. Afterwards kill those other
SISs.

Smash through the wooden door and ascend the steps to find 2 MISs behind
fences. Destroy the fencing then defeat the MISs followed by smashing open the
door next to them.

Walk through catiously to the 'Spirit Gem Crates' and as you go in some SISs
will drop in a barrel. Kill the wave of them then melee the crates for many
gems. Smash down the fencing blocking the door then go through it.

Plainly go left and destroy yet another fence. Kill the SISs and then continue
down the large area to find several MISs. Take care of them carefully.

Smash down another piece of fencing in the doorway to another pointless room.
Triple smash the door down to save for once in a long while. Destroy some
Spirit Gems then go up the steps, jump on the bridge then immediately jump
back as the bridge crumbles.

Some bits of the bridge will remain for you to jump between. Once the other
side, go forward to an extremely large area. 2 Dreadwings will come up the far
end dropping several SISs and MISs.

Go all the way over there and defeat this large wave like every other wave in
the game so far. Now it's time to battle some of those Dreadwings for real!
Go up to a Dreadwing, strafing if it starts using its invisible ranged attack
on you.

An easy way to defeat all of these Dreadwings is to either knock them over the
cliff or zapping and throwing (by turning) them off the cliffs. Either way,
they are very hard to beat, and will prove quite a challenge to you.

Go to another Dreadwing and throw it off then another along with some more
SISs and MISs. Defeat them all (is there any other way to put it?) then go
back to ANOTHER Dreadwing with MORE SISs and MISs.

Kill them then back some more to a final Dreadwing and finally the battle is
over and the far door is o-pen.

No need going through, since (finally) another cutscene will play.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Maybe we should head this way, genius.

Spyro starts walking into small pitch black tunnel

Sparx: Hey, Sp-- Oh, check this out... (echo) Echo!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Moving on a bit...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx (echo): ...ooo!

Spyro: Ha ha, alright, my turn... (echo) Helloooooooo!

Spyro jumps down to area full of SISs

SIS: Hello.

Spyro pushes SIS over the other side of the room

Spyro (to Sparx): Who's the genius now, echo man?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Defeat all of the other SISs and once defeated go through the only cave here.
Smash open the Spirit Gems, it's time to Level Up!

Level your electric breath first then when all 3 breath types are equal head
for Upgrade 3 of the flame breath, then flame bomb and so on.

Continue through a bit to a dead end and the one we've been looking for.

Bomb and bomb all you can again and then icicles, spikes, bomb, icicles,

The orange bar. Not much to say here since its icicle, spikes, bomb all over
again. Soon enough the bar will refill and the Ice King's skeleton self will
start showing.

The red bar. Not much new here, except that the Ice King walks two steps at a
time so you'll have to keep your distance even more. Plus, once the spikes are
done you should move sideways to dodge an ice breath attack, which will freeze
you if it hits. This will also mess up the pattern of the ice shield so bomb
in a different strategy this time. Eventually the Ice King will keel over and
is dead.

Volteer (fast speaking all the time): ...miraculous, incredile, stupendous...
a dragon your size defeating that... that... thing. Thank you... er, ah, ah...

Spyro: Spyro.

Volteer: A purple dragon named Spyro. Amazing. Of course, there were
unsubstantiated rumors of a purple dragon countless generations ago, but most
considered it hearsay, gossip, legend. It's hard to believe, difficult to
fathom, amazing to comprehend... er... um...

Sparx No wonder they gagged this guy.

Volteer: ...so much time has passed, so many things have been learned, and
now, here he is, standing right before me...

Sparx: Excuse me... Mr. Volt.

Volteer (looking around for Sparx): What, what, what is it?

Sparx: Sir, should... shouldn't we get going?

Volteer: Oh, of course, but where to?

Spyro: Well... back to the Temple.

Sparx: A friend of yours is waiting.

Volteer: Ignitus?

Sparx: Yes, Ignitus.

Volteer: Of course! I've much to tell him, many hypotheses to pose. I believe
that...

Ignitus: Yes, yes, Volteer, it's good to see you as well, but we don't have
time to waste on sentiment. Back to Cynder... she was doing WHAT to you?

Sparx: Cynder's a chick?

Volteer: It's hard to be absolutely sure, Ignitus, but it seems she was using
me as some sort of a suspended, organic power source...

Sparx: Huh?!

Spyro: She was using him as a battery.

Sparx: Why didn't he just say so?

Volteer: Not only that, she also left with a glowing yellow orb... and I
believe that I somehow powered it. Does this mean anything to you, Ignitus?

Ignitus: Perhaps... perhaps. What I do know is that we need to rescue the
other Guardians... before Cynder can power any more of those orbs.

Volteer: I agree, Ignitus, but first I'd like to impart some useful knowledge
to Spyro, 't seems his recently-acquired electricity-based exhalation device.

Sparx: What?

Spyro: He says he'd like to teach me some things about that Electricity
Breath.

Sparx (sigh): Oi, why doesn't he just say so?!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Volteer will come through to the Dojo in a minute and you can start once the
statue has spun down. Time to learn the advanced electricity moves!

Firstly, you'll have to do that thing I recomended to you earlier with the
Dreadwings. A dummy will be standing next to a target, zap it and turn with
the SDD into the target to smash it (this will be much easier with electric
breath upgrade three). Do this with the other SDDs. Go back to Volteer.

Remember from the Fire Dojo when you had to chase the running SDDs and then
burn them to death? This time you'll have to zap 'em! Get fairly close then
electrocute them 'til they fall. Go back to Volteer.

Time for secondary... The Electric Arc! This electrical cage will hold up your
enemies and zap them hard. Just go up to the MDD, Triangle him then jump and
melee him as instructed. Go back to Volteer.

The next one is once again when you chase after the SDDs then zap 'em to
death... though with a twist: You have to use your Electric Arc on them! This
is quite tricky. Get close then zap and an SDD will soon be hit then you have
to air combo it THRICE! Do this with all SDDs. Go into the middle.

Fury time! Zap, trap or whack the SDDs for several waves then once your Fury
Meter is full, the MDDs will come. Hit R2 and unleash one heck of a storm.

You're training is half complete.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignitus: Spyro... Cyril, the Ice Guardian, was taken to Tall Plains... you and
Sparx must go there at once... and find him.

Spyro: Yes sir.

Sparx: But if we see danger we should run... right?

Ignitus: There are times when all of us need to stand up to danger, young
Sparx.

Sparx: Yeah, maybe next month, next summer, perhaps next year--

Ignitus: Just go... now!

Spyro: Yes sir.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignitus (flashback): Tall Plains was once home to a pround ancient tribe
called... the Atlawa.

Sparx (flashback): Bless you.

Spyro (flashback): Sparx.

Ignitus (flashback): The Atwala were a people in tune with the rythms of the
seasons, focused on their relationship to crops, their surroundings, their
gods. They've all been driven underground by Cynder and her forces, who've
taken over the tribe's Shrine. I sense that's where Cynder is keeping Cyril,
trying to power another crystal. You must find him before she succeeds.

Sparx: Right... it's never easy, is it?

Spyro: Nothing worthwhile ever is.

Sparx: So now you're spouting wisdom, hero boy?

Spyro: C'mon.

Spyro walks ahead
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to Tall Plains! After that ferocious arctic blob, we now come to the
pleasent, sunny rocks... even though they are infested with Cynder's forces.

You'll be on a small island in the sky, glide over to the one ahead so as not
to fall and die. You'll see a totem rock, useless here... unless you jump on
it and charge... not so helpful if you're trying some sort of 'non-death
test'.

Glide over once more to find an SES (Small Earth Soldier), he'll run into the
cave. Jump onto the platform North West and smash open a couple of vases for
gems. Now go into the cave and round to find several SESs and an MES, armed
with a knife.

Knock up, whack, whack and push the MES into the SESs. Eventually the MES will
be dead, leaving you with the remaining SEDs to pummel. Now run down the
inside of the large log to find three MESs, several SESs and not forgetting:
a Leader.

Try to lift two MESs at once then whack them both twice and Double Knockback
into SESs. Keep doing this and you won't have to even touch the SESs. Finish
off the MESs and three SESs will run in. Kill them while avoiding the Dynamite
from the Earth Leader.

Continue right through another log to find a button. Do NOT touch it or a
totem will fire Earth at you, a form of booby traps. Go into another log and
watch out as you run through for the Earth Cannon.

Once you reach it, destroy it then drop down to the left. Go left and charge
into the spikes ahead, being careful of the movement-detecting booby traps.
Run the other side to defeat a couple of MESs and several more SESs.

Smash everything open then go up to the cube it the ground.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Tail Strike the totem blocks to trigger switches.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tail strike the block as said and one of the totem poles will raise in the
previous area. Not only that but three MESs will pop out of nowhere, seeking
to bully someone.

After the tough fight, hurry back across the trap and up the other side of the
'chasm'. Jump left from here for a couple of Spirit Gems, then back down and
ahead to a big battle, guarding an Atwalan.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dreadwing flies in with Kane in a cage (the Atwalan)

Spyro: The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Sparx: Does that mean what I think it does?

Spyro: Yeah, we've gotta help him.

Sparx: Oh brother.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

...A whole load of SESs, an MES, and a Leader! Woohoo! Smack the SDDs to their
death, prefably knocking them or zapping them over the edge. After this, head
to the Leader for a little trick.

For this, zap the Leader and drag him round to knock into the MES. If you did
it in the right position, the MES will fall off the edge along with the Leader
you've now most probably let go of.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro charges the cage from Kane

Kane: Watch it, would ya?

Spyro: I was just trying to help.

Kane: Well, the Atwala and Kane need no help.

Spyro: Oh, just about to spring into action, huh?!

Sparx: Forget this guy, Spyro. Come on.

Spyro (ignoring Sparx): What did they want with you anyway?

Kane: It's none of your business. Now move (pushes Spyro aside)! I've gotta
tribe to save.

Sparx (shouting): Oh, you're welcome!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Collect the gems then glide to the lowest platform and destroy the Spirit Gems
on it. Work Spyro back up to the beginning then go right and round to be
confronted with another block to Strike, though it's a booby trap too!

Once the totem pole has raised, go up to find that Leader you saw earlier.
Yep, we've come round the end of a circle! Just knock the Leader off the edge
to take quick care of it and now all 3 poles are raised! Jump onto the first
one, and turn left to find some explosive crates.

Bomb them and don't worry about the slight damage the explosion gives you. Go
up there and collect the freely spread gems, now carefully jump down onto the
second pole. The third pole was actually quite useless.

Glide on top of the log you entered in and go up until you find an opening at
your left. Go through and along.

Turn left and round to find three Armourdillos! They like to roll into you to
hurt ya, so use something quick and easy on them, like fire or tail strike.
Once all three are dead, go left once again to find yourself in a soldier-full
pit.

Several MESs will be hiding behind a piece of a totem pole, of which can be
smashed. Do the obvious thing with them then kill the MESs behind, pushing
them into the SESs all you can. If you find yourself overrun and you want to
save you Fury, flame the dynamites to make quick work.

Once all are defeated, tail strike the two switches and for each one a pole
will raise. Ascend the poles to be on a dodgy platform, perfect for a see-saw.

Jump one side of the see-saw for a whole bunch of gems, then you're going to
have to go up the high end. To do this without missing the jump, run to the
tip of the see-saw to flip it one end, then quickly run to the other and jump
before it falls.

TWO MESs will be really close up, so watch it! try to get them to fall in the
leaf traps and die. The other end will be a Leader, but there's one problem:
he doesn't die in a leaf pit. Kill him generally with flame bombs or possibly
your new Electric Arc.

Jump over the pit and quickly kill the Armourdillos, then run ahead along the
short path to meet up with your first Stone Golem.

A flame bomb will knock this big rock guy out of balance, of which allows you
to freely hit it. Keep doing the bomb and whack until the brute is dead.
Continue along behind where he was to another nice, open area.

Start running across the long, winding bridge where three SESs will charge up.
Laugh at them as you easily knock them off the edge with your electric breath
immediately. Continue up the bridge to another island with a Dreadwing on it.

Basically zap the bat overside as it strangely falls to its death rather than
just make use of its wings. Scurry down the bridge and up to an island with a
huge cliff in the middle. Charge up to the Stone Golem and whack and knock him
through the fencing (NOTE: He may wildly spin back at you like a boomerang).

A couple of Armourdillos will now roll straight at you, so be careful as you
flame both at once. Throw them off as normal round the mountain to find
another Golem! Do all you can to him while keeping your distance 'til his a
pile of rocks.

Climb the mountain for a couple of vases then drop to the bridge, which'll be
broken. Glide down and several Dreadwing will fly overhead, so, rather than
waisting time trying to defeat them, run into the stadium for your life.

A Leader will run in the other end and block your exits (typical) with an
Earth wall. Several Armourdillos will roll in for you to give them a funeral.

Next, a wave of SESs will pop up, so smack 'em, whack 'em or plainly burn
them. Once all are defeated another wave will appear on the ledge above. To
make quick and easy work, just throw them to the bottom for an easy death then
yet another wave will appear above.

After them, another wave above then after them a final wave at the top along
with a MES or two. Chuck them to the bottom and when only a few are left, the
Leader will charge through the wall, knocking all SESs and MESs off with him.

Once the Leader turns to whack you, show him who's boss and zap him, then
hook up, whack, whack and knockback straight to the bottom. The earth walls
will fall and you can now get those Spirit Gems spread all over.

Once done, return to the top of the stadium and out. Another Dreadwing will
swoop down so kick his butt through the sky. Kill the SESs that run after you
and another Leader that charges in once they're dead. Continue along until
another cutscene plays.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro looks around

Spyro: We're going to have to use the waterwheels to move ahead.

Sparx: Oh, it's never easy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You're now in a dangerous, large area for a slight challenge, also decorated
with long grass to block your view. Wonderful.

To get the first waterwheel working, firstly go to the right and tail strike
another block, trigger three Armourdillos to ambush. Kill them then go right
to the wall to trigger another Armourdillo ambush.

Now head for the far left corner to strike yet another block for yet another
ambush. Though along with this the native pole will swing round, causing the
first waterwheel to start spinning.

Jump on a blade of the waterwheel and jump off once you reach the second
level of the large area! An Earth Cannon will immidiately start shooting at
you, so dodge then give it the bashing of its life.

Tail Strike the block behind the cannon ruins to get another ambush, along
with a second to the right of the ruins. The third block is right in front of
the waterwheel, so go up straight after bashing it.

Smash the cannon shooting at the far left, then tread catiously to smash the
block near it, so as to not get hit by the cannons above. Smash the block near
the wheel you came up, then jump over the river to the third and you can then
reach the top.

Two Earth Cannons will shoot from both sides, so don't dodge sideways. Smash
the first cannon with the evasion in mind then charge for the second. Blocking
the exit is a Stone Golem! Take him out with difficulty then behind him is a
room of FOUR GOLEMS!

Take them out with your almighty mightiness (*ahem*) and... the door will
open! Here Kane has a death sentence from two Golems!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane falls off cliff and starts flowing along river to waterfall

Spyro: Kane!

Sparx: Yeah, I know the guy's an ingrate, but you gotta do something, and
fast!

Spyro freezes river with ice breath

Sparx: Buddy, you're gettin' weirder and weirder by the second!

Spyro nodds in agreement!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ta da-d-d--daaaa - ICE BREATH!...

...only to be confronted by four golems.

You can try out your new ice breath on them, though they are too big and
unfreezable to be frozen (duh). Plus, this is a really, really good time to
make your Fury handy. So, whether it's Fire or Electric, take them out!

...Though this will do hardly any damage at all. So take them out with as many
Fire Bombs as you can, using melee sometimes to conserve breath. Once all four
tough but slow Golems are piles, go through the door that just opened.

Kill the three SESs ahead of you, and once dead more will jump at the Leader's
command (above) and try pathetically to squash you. Show them how it's done
then go up to the steps to find some athletics.

...(man, what's up with those ...s) Three MESs having a running race. Prize =
Spyro. Show them that prizes can win sometimes instead of competitors. Plus,
it's easy 'cause they happened to be atop a cliff.

Fortunately for the Leader, he decided for some frontier defenses being an
Earth Cannon and a couple of SESs. Unfortunately for him, aswell as the
defenses being rubbish, he didn't take notice to the MESs and is perched even
higher. Nasty.

Stream down the hollow tree trunk and go right to go to next to pointlessness,
or go left to continue with the level. You'll be in an over-full, dark area.
An Earth Cannon will greet you in a nasty way along with three SESs that
forgot how to brake. How rude.

Rudefully, smash down the barricades where a swinging log will rudefully hit
a MES to death and go up to rudefully knock the other MES off. Run a short
distance and go left to where a Leader rudefully tries to kill you, while you
try to rudefully kill him (sorry about rudefully ruding the rude).

You'll be in an area with a type of drained pool with two level in the middle,
jump down there to find a Leader guarding himself with an Earth wall. Keep on
attacking the waves of SESs he summons.

If you get to a point you have a bad feeling too many SESs are coming up,
instead of waisting your Fury, freeze the remainding SES in a snowball and
when the SESs come, melee him at them for extra time.

Once all are dead, the Earth Wall will change into a small wave of SESs, so
kill them and once dead the Leader will get angry and use all his ranged
attacks in a rage. So calm him down by knocking him about to sleep (forever).

A couple of does the back end will open, so take either one and go through to
another large and complicated area. Of which has the space for a cutscene.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane whacks MESs off edge and spots Spyro below

Kane: You again?! Why don't you just get outta 'ere and leave me in peace. I'm
the boss here... nobody else!

Sparx: Boss of what?

Spyro: Shhh (to Sparx)! You're all alone?

Kane: Only 'til I kick these bums out. Which reminds me, I can't stand around
chattin' with purple dragons and mosquitoes--

Sparx: Woah, woah, woah. Okay, who you callin' a mosquito?!

Kane: Besides, it's not safe for you here.

Sparx: Oh, concerned about our welfare now?!

Spyro: No need, we can take care of ourselves. Anyway, we need to get to the
shrine.

Kane: You'll never make it.

Kane exits
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Turn right and charge forward with an MES and when you clash his proves
weakest, so show him by how much and go left to a wave of SESs. Kill them as
normal and go along then left to a Leader on a platform.

Take care of him and go right to a stone platform, glide across and climb the
pyramid and wait for the Earth Cannon to miss you before you jump to attack.

Once his ruins, glide back down but behind to a large platform with a platform
on it with an Earth Cannon on it. Destroy the cannon being careful of the
opposite cannon then destroy that. Whack open the Spirit Gems and Tail Strike
the two blocks which'll open a passage below you.

Drop down in there to find four round rocks, about the size of a frozen SES.
Roll one rock back to the beginning of this 'labyrinth', and push it into the
curved holder and it will stick in there.

If you turn around you'll see another holder ahead, so push a second rock into
that to activate it. Now grab another rock and roll it the opposite way and
right, where you'll find a third holder. And finally grab the last rock, roll
it left and round 'til you find the holder.

A wooden gate up high will lift, so get to the top of the pyramid that had the
Earth Cannon again and glide through it from there.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane: The Shrine God has not been appeased since Cynder's forces came... he is
not happy.

Sparx: So is anyone fun around here?

Kane: You can't possibly face the God of the Shrine alone.

Spyro: Not all of us are loners, Kane. I'm not going alone. Maybe someday
you'll learn that two heads are better that one... (looking at Sparx) Even if
one is a pin head.

Sparx: Yeah... what?!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now glide across to the floating platform ahead and in the distance you'll see
a large ship. Glide to the next and the next and so on until you're right
infront of the ship. From that platform take the bridge and hop aboard!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro: I'm not sure I like the looks of this thing.

Sparx: Now you tell me.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The air-ship will immediately start moving away from the land. So we're now
taking a nice, long flight to the main shrine.

Though it's not that simple! You'll firstly be greeted by a MES leading a wave
of SESs. Push the MES into the SESs to knock them down like skittles, then
finish off the MES by zapping him overboard.

Another wave of this and eventually a MES will run out of a door, while
another follows. Zap him off the edge and another MES will run out. Zap him
off the edge and a Leader will come out.

Followed by another Leader, another Leader and a fourth Leader!!! Repeat this
and once done Sparx will gesture you get get off the ship.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx: Well, that was... fun.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your game will save. Hop up the platforms to find three Armourdillos that like
meat, so show them to eat vegetables instead. Smash through the spikes ahead
and smash carefully since there is a swinging log trying to catch you.

Smash along the spikes beside it to get through then turn left and left again
to a swinging tree trunk. The block is pretty usless so go left from the trunk
to a row of booby traps.

Charge along the pressure pads to just pass the spike-shooters and go through
and left and ahead. Ignore Kane for now and bomb the Golem all you can 'til
it's another worthless pile. Take care of the one behind it and go to Kane
now.

W-w-wait a sec. How did-- Kane... He, there, how? *Long Pause* HOW DID HE GET
THERE WITHOUT TAKING THE SHIP?!?! *Sigh*. Oh well. Here he is for chat.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane: I have to admit, you've done better than I though possible.

Sparx: Saying that had to hurt.

Kane: More than you can imagine. There are some things you should know about
the Shrine before you enter--

Sparx: And I think we're done here...

Spyro: Not before we rescue Cyril.

Kane: ...The Atwala Shrine has been desecrated, and the God of the Shrine has
not been given tribute since Cynder's forces arrived. But if you can subdue
his anger, the balance will be returned. And my people can come home.

Spyro: That's fine, but I came to free Cyril.

Kane: You must go through the God of the Shrine to free him.

Spyro and Kane start walking ahead.

Sparx: 'KNEW you were gonna say that.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Into the Shrine we go! Smash the Spirit Gems either side of the island and now
is the time to upgrade. Go to the Level Up Screen and upgrade all your
breaths, especially the Fire Bomb if you haven't already. Cross the bridge to
the Shrine.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro: Be careful. Remember last time.

Sparx (looking around): I know, I know, but Cynder left and I don't see any
Ice Kings hanging around this place.

Pile of rock form together to make Stone Sentinel

Sparx: *Sigh* When will I learn? When things look good, run for the hills.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Time to take on the almighty clump of rocks!

Don't fear though, because you know what they say "Nevvr juj a buuc bi itz
cuvvr."

Anyway, just run away from the Stone Sentinel, turning and firing bombs as
much as you can. Don't do so too much though, sometime just stand there for
him to get you, and he'll fire his arm at you. So dodge when you hear it
coming and while it's stuck in the ground, fire, fire, fire! You can get an
easy target here, so you can hit his weak spots. So after about three good
shots, he'll pull his arms up and you should start running. You know the
drill, Distance, fire, fire, fire, stop, dodge, fire, fire, fire! After a few
of these, recharge your breath meter to the top and fire again to rid of his
green bar.

The orange bar. You know what to do, just run as usual firing as you can, then
dodge his whack and fire all you can. Eventually his orange bar will be
depleted.

The red bar. This does not have any official difference, but by now your
meter will probably be greenless. So, unfortunately, you cannot use breath
attacks, since the Spirit Gems are all gone. So instead, make him fire at you
and whack his arm when it's stuck. You can get two weak whacks and a third if
you're quick. Soon enough the Stone Sentinel will be like the Golems: a pile
of rocks.

Atwalas worshipping Spyro and Sparx

Kane: You have subdued the God of the Shrine, restored balance to seasons, the
land, our world. The Atwalas want to worship you now!

Sparx: Worship?! Okay, now that's what I'm talkin' about... I've never gotten
the respect I deserve, the praise that should be mine.

Spyro: That's very nice, Kane, but we have to get back to our home, figure out
how to stop Cynder for good.

Sparx: My dear Atwalas, I am the mighty Sparx, scrouge of despots...

Cyril: Yes, yes, old boy, we'd like nothing more than to stay and be part of
your primitive, barbaric society, but duty calls... duty calls.

Kane: If you must, you must. But know that you're now part of the Atwala
tribe, one of us.

Sparx: I am the mighty Spar-- whatever.

Kane: By the way, you were right.

Spyro: About what?!

Kane: Maybe two heads are better than one after all... Even if one of them
belongs to an annoying mosquito.

Sparx: Mosquito, me?! Is that... oh.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back home we go.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cyril: ...Yes, yes, Volteer. I see that months of tortured captivity has done
nothing to slow that electric tongue of yours from incessantly wagging.

Volteer: It's just that it's all so exciting, exhilarating, enchanting,
enthralling--

Sparx: All right, no more thesaurus for you, pal.

Ignitus: All of you please be quiet. It is certainly encouraging that Spyro
has been able to free two of you to allow this reunion, but haven't we
forgotten someone?

Cyril: Yes, yes, of course...

Dragons stop to think

Ignitus, Volteer and Cyril: TERRADOR!!

Ignitus: Precisely. Now, how do we proceed?

Cyril: I believe I can help, Ignitus. Well, young chap, since you learne a few
things about ice on Tall Plains, I suggest we adjourn to the Training Room so
that I can teach you some more. The legacy of the great Ice dragons of yore...
my ancestors, who come from the best of the best of this somewhat bedraggled
lineage... is long and storied. With my help, rescuing Terrador should be a
certainty.

Volteer: Your pomposity, arrogance, and pretentiousness is odious to the
extreme.

Cyril: Shall we?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ahhh, time to learn about the coolest (LOL) element of them all, Ice Breath.

Walk in and Cyril will follow, introducing you to the wonders of ice.

A bit like the first ever dojo challenge we got, only timed. Freeze the
oncoming SDDs and MDDs and then melee them to death. This time when they die
they basically ice shatter! Go back to Cyril.

Now just that only in the chase form! Run around breathing ice and once you
hit an SDD, it'll freeze so melee it to defeat it. Do this to all SDDs. Go
back to Cyril.

Secondary breath already?! That would be because this is the shortest training
lesson of all four. Anyway, fire an ice shard at an SDD to defeat it, and
another will pop up somewhere else. Quickly aim if you're gonna beat the time
limit and fire. Do this 10 times. Go back to Cyril.

Now a chase version of what you just did. Run around firing Ice Shards like a
machine gun and melee all that you trap. Go to the middle.

And, already, the Fury Attack! Freeze, shoot or melee the SDDs wave after wave
after wave, and once your Fury Meter is full the LDDs will come. Hit R2 to
freeze the floor, which has them on it.

Well, that was quick.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cyril: ...So what exactly saying, Ignitus?

Volteer: Yes, your hypothesis is an intriguing one but it is perplexing to the
extreme.

Sparx: Huh?!

Spyro: He says he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Sparx: Dude, I never know what he's talkin' 'bout.

Ignitus: What I'm saying is that Cynder is harnessing the Guardians' power to
unlock a portal... that must never be opened.

Spyro: Why... what's behind this portal?

Ignitus: That doesn't concern you right now. What does concern you is getting
to Munitions Forge - and freeing Terrador before she can create another
crystal from his powers.

Volteer: --And before the volcano blows its--

Ignitus: That's enough, Volteer. There's plenty of time... plenty of time.

Sparx: Plenty of time?! What, we need more time to have horrible things happen
to us?! Why didn't we just stay in Tall Plains? Oh, I'm a big deal there.

Spyro: Quit complaining Sparx. Maybe there's a tribe on Munitions Forge you
can save too.

Sparx: Yeah, but there's always something special about the first tribe you
save, y'now?

XXVII \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Munitions Forge//////////////////////// XXVII
!!!!!+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+

Welcome to the dragon fotress, where all dragons once made their guns, cannon
and all munition and ammunition. Now overrun by Cynder's goons, running around
using the weapons for themselves. Though now it's eruption season, when the
biggest volcano, Boyzitbig, in the Dragon Realms blows, and the Manweersmalls
are in trouble. Not only with Cynder and an evil-doing Conducter, but in range
of the volcano.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ignitus (flashback): Munitions Forge is an island dominated by Boyzitbig, an
unstable volcano that makes life on the surface very dicey. The locals, who
live underground, have been forced to mine the metals that Cynder uses to
forge her army's weapons.

Spyro (flashback): What are the locals called?

Ignitus (flashback): They're called Manweersmalls.

Sparx (flashback): Right... Do I need to write that down?

Ignitus (flashback): Rumor has it that Cynder is holding Terrador somewhere in
the mines. We know she's using him to power the last of the crystals she needs
to open the portal. Free him before she gets the chance!

Sparx: Boy is it big!

Spyro: Boy, it's big! But no time for sightseeing, Sparx. Time to get serious,
let's go!

Sparx: Awww, not again.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

...And we have control. Two SLSs (small lava soldiers) will run up to you, so
freeze them both and roll them into the firey water to the right. Once
unfrozen, they'll immediately die so that you don't have to battle them.

Run ahead to another wave of SLSs, lead by an MLS (armed with sharp claws).
Take the SLSs into the sea and defeat the MLS by zapping him into the sea. A
nearby fire wall will lower.

Explore the area for gems and what not (there appears to be a mysterious enemy
around the back) then venture up the slope past that fallen fire wall. Look
around for Fire Beetles, which are small, independent bugs with no particular
firey attack but explode into fire-looking goo once dead.

Make sure to destroy the Fire Beetle nest in the tunnel, so as for no more to
spawn. In the next area, watch the Leader summon some SLSs and go down and
kick their butts.

After that wave, more will come and a MLS will have appeared on a platform.
Throw him off then climb up to the Leader and knock him into the lava pool
below.

Wave after wave of SLSs will keep on arrivin', so just freeze them and dump
them in the lava to die. A first wave, a second and one or two more and the
fire wall in this area will disappear. Collect from the Spirit Gems then go up
and Triple Tail Strike the door down. Go top-right from here to a local!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro: Man... is he small!

Blind Manweersmall: What's that?... H-h-who's there?!

Spyro: It's, it's me, Spyro--

Sparx: --and the former god of Tall Plains, Sparx.

Blind Manweersmall: *Sniffs around* You don't carry the stench of Cynder's
beasts, so you must be friends.

Spyro: We are... and who are you?

Blind Manweersmall: I am Mole-Yair, leader of the Manweersmalls. But I'm not
much of a leader anymore. Those of my people who aren't mining for Cynder are
holed up in the caves, scared out of their little wits, waiting for Boyzitbig
to blow, which shouldn't be long. If you would help me free them, perhaps
there's something I could do for you?

Spyro: I don't know. We're here to rescue a big friend of ours.

Mole-Yair: Is he a mighty dragon?

Spyro: Yes... why?

Mole-Yair: 'Cos I know where he's being kept... in the mines near a large
labor camp, where my brother, Exhumor toils away. We can help each other.

Spyro: Well... which way do we go? What should we do next?

Mole-Yair: All is simple enough, but we've got to hurry. Boyzitbig is getting
more unstable by the minute. We must clear these caves before we can help your
friend.

Sparx: You're asking him for directions? Wow, talk about the blind leading the
blind.

Spyro: Forget him, Mole-Yair. We're in!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So now you've been given two tasks by a blind rat, one to free his friends,
and two to find Exhumor. While you're doing that, his lounging around waiting
to be killed.

Head ahead along the path smashing up the Spirit Gems on your way, continue
through the path all the way to the top of a ledge. Jump off the edge to find
another Manweersmall!

He's trapped with a helmet connecting to a crystal, sapping all the energy out
of him. Smash the crystal to save the poor guy an he'll teleport via helmet.
Drop down this ledge and take care of the SLSs - since there are no lava pools
about, defeat them the old-fashioned way.

Run into the room for a giant battle, a Leader will appear and summon a
massive wave of the toughest MLSs and SLSs of them all! Concentrate mostly on
the Leader though, and once you find a more peaceful time, fire up the
dynamite in the corner, lure the enemies over there, and laugh as they shoot
through the ceiling.

Continue into a much smaller room containing two MLSs, guarding a Manweersmall
each. Take them out, throwing them into exactly what they're guarding if you
wish. Smash down the door, take out the Fire Beetles ahead, then smash down
the scaffolding into an ahead SLS.

Kick the other one over two and into the room, it's time for an even harder
battle!!! Two Fire Beetle nests will be throwing out Fire Beetles, along with
an even tougher Leader summoning an enormous wave of MLSs, frontierly defended
by an enormous wave of SLSs.

After barely a triple-whack the LSs will move aside and let the Leader charge
at you at full speed. Strafe from him then hook him up and squash the MLSs,
which'll squash the SLSs. Though none will die, so melee them and have help
with your elements.

Try to kill them all you can and once the Leader is about a third of his
health down, and you are trapped by about 10 MLSs and 20 SLS, you know exactly
what to do.

FURY!!! (and if you don't, man, are you never gonna complete this game)

Fire: CRACKLE! BURN! FLAMES! Electricity: ZAP! ELECTROCUTE! STORM! Ice: FLOOR
FREEZE! -2000 DEGREES C! SHATTER! You choose! Mwahahahahahaha Hoohoohoohoohoo
Hehhehhehhehhehheh *Choke**Choke**Choke*

*Calms down* *ahem* Sorry about that. Anyway, smash through the door at the
back and kill the soldiers and just force a couple more presses to free the
last two of the Manweersmalls. Time to rest those worn off fingers of yours!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mole-Yair: Ha ha! You did it, you did it! A thousand thanks. Mwah, mwah, mwah!

Spyro: It was nothing.

Sparx: No problem, pal.

Mole-Yair: Well... you did your part, now I'll do mine. Your friend is being
kept in the center of the volcano, past the labor camp where my brother,
Exhumor, is working. Find him and let him know we're friends, and he'll tell
you how to proceed.

Spyro: How will we know Exhumor?

Sparx: Yeah, all you Man-are-we-smalls look the same to me.

Mole-Yair: Oh, you'll know him. Trust me. He's the most cantankerous,
hard-nosed Manweersmall around. Whatever you do, don't get on his bad side.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some rocks behind Mole-Yair will randomly explode to reveal a fully occupied
'secret' cave. Go to the railings around the lava and run alongside it to meet
up with four SLSs led by an MLS.

Make quick work of them by zapping them through the railings as each one
confronts you. Once each one is dead, go round this 8-shaped loop to a couple
more MLSs. Just push each one into the lava pit, dragging the other.

Ahead you will encounter two of a new enemy, Magmaworms. Magmaworms are
scorpion-looking creatures of which can claw you close up, and fire firey
sting at you from range. As to make these worse, they love fire so won't be
harmed by the lava. Pushing them in lava only makes them stronger.

However, Magmaworms hate ice. So fire bursts of ice at the bugs and hit them
all you can once frozen. Ice them 'til they shatter.

Three angry SLSs will charge up to you so torture them via burning and now
round the florescent chocolately corner (F.C.C.) (?) to find more angry SLSs,
an angry MLS, and an angry Leader.

The Leader will have lifted a fire wall long ago, so throw him into the MLS
who will roll over the SLSs. Do this a few times then finish off the Leader by
throwing him into his own fire wall.

The wall will lower, only to bump into another new enemy, a Buffalo Beetle.
These guys look more like scorpions and this time love electricity. And since
these guys are bigger, they'll bolt-balls have more range.

Once again, these guys hate ice (poor old ice, never loved!) so have little
defense against it. Freeze him too death and carry along to a pit full of more
SLSs and another Buffalo Beetle.

No need to battle them though, just glide across each of the unstable, turning
platforms and they'll be no trouble. Now head through the cave for another
suprise!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sparx smiles at bell

Sparx: I bet you can't ring that bell.

Spyro: Why would I want to?

Sparx: Oh, you're scared.

Spyro: I'm not scared!

Sparx: Oh, the big special dragon is scared of the mean old bell *tsk tsk*...
Oh, I didn't know, I'm sorry, oh no, I'm sorry baby, why don't I get your
pillow all laid out--

Spyro rings the bell, and a rock falls on top of him!

Sparx: SPYRO!!! Can you hear me?! Are you okay, buddy?! Hey, listen, forget
about those cracks about your fatness and your... being purple and stupid and
fat, all right? Just get outta there! Please, Spyro *sulk*, don't be dead.

Rock vibrates wildly with cracking sound

Spyro bursts out with Earth Shot

Spyro: Did you say something?

Sparx: Oh, me? No, no. I was... talking out loud... thinking of my day... I
gotta do--

Spyro: Oh, just though I heard something before I blasted my way out.

Sparx: Oh, that's funny. Yeah, no. Must be hearing things.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You now have Earth Breath! Hip, hip, HOORAY!!! (Man, when is this game gonna
end?)

Test it out on the bundles of SLSs and an MLS that somehow just appeared. It
will be... LEAVES! Powered leaves, that is. Blast these guys with Autumn,
climb up the tall platforms, smash the gems, and then go through the southern
tunnel.

You'll find an MLS. Yeah. Cool. But what's behind him is certain death...

TWO (count them), TWO LEADERS!!!

Just to pain you even more, these guys like to charge about, and use the rest
of their attacks alot. Push, zap, whatever you can to get rid of these two
imposters. Here is an example of how long these guys take to defeat:

Smelly muffin toes, mixed with chocolate foot, sprinkled on cheese flavour fat
ham. I am na a a a stay a-dead... stay a-dead! Agh, agh, agh, agh, this is
TORTURRRRRRRRRR-RrrrrRRRRRRRrrrRRR-RRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRr!

Anyway, once they're all done for, continue behind to who and what they seemed
to be guarding.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Conducter looks at his watch

The Conducter: Come on, you worthless waste of flesh... let's go. We've gotta
hop on Steam and get back to that flea-bitten dragon. The crystal should be
almost ready... and the volcano is right on the brink.

The Conducter hops onto Steam and rides through the tracks

SLSs push three levers to close gate

Spyro: Come on, Sparx, we've got to catch them!

Spyro runs ahead and Sparx shakes his head in a sigh
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Conducter has set off to Terrador, and we gotta stop him!

Well, before we can do that, we've gotta push those three levers back. So to
start, smash up the Fire Cannon blasting you ahead. Now go up the metal ruins
to a platform with a lever on it!

Grab that MLS, and drag him across knocking the SLSs off the edge along, and
let go once HE'S over the edge. Now melee the lever and you'll see one of the
hinges detatch.

Now to get the second lever, which is on the opposite side of this large area.
Simply run up the ruins as you just did and zap the MLS as you just did, into
the SLSs as you just did, and all over the edge, as you just did.

Now, as you just did, whack that lever! Now to get that final one! To guard
even more, this is guarded by a Leader! S!o!,! b!o!m!b! t!h!e! guy and once
bombed whack him all you can and evade backwards once he gets back up.

When he's dead, smash up the Spirit Gems, and now to leave Munitions Forge...
for now. Just one melee does it all. (In fact, we'll still be in Munitions
Forge, though it's a boss.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro hops onto a mine-cart

Sparx: 'You know how to drive this thing?!

Spyro: How hard can it be, it's on rails?

Sparx: Famous last words.

XXVIII \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\The Conducter's Tracks//////////////////// XXVIII
!!!!!+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+

So now we're chasing after a train with an evil guy on it. Riding along the
tracks, catch up with the speeding Conducter by speeding faster than him (push
forward). Once you get right behind him, slow down (backwards) so as not to
crash. The Conducter and his henchmen will throw dynamite back at you, so
grind (left or right) to the sides to let them past you. Fire with Square or
Triangle all you can at the caboose and when it gets all windy don't so as to
save breath power. The caboose will occasionaly explode on parts into gems.
Eventually, the track will split, and you'll have a side view. While leaning
towards the caboose, fire at it all you can. After a few hits, it'll zoom at
top speed away from you, and the tracks meet again.

Do what ya' just did.

Do whatcha just did. After some more blows, the caboose will keep on crashing
into rock pillars. The caboose them flames up and explodes, killing the
Conducter.

Now we still got the real Steam there, and he'll slow down slower than you can
and then chase you. Generally just keep on pushing ahead so that Steam won't
bump you to death. Dodge sideways from the few attacks thrown at you, and now
the tracks will re-split and Steam has escaped!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro flies off tracks to below

Spyro: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

The mine cart then breaks up, and Spyro looks at what awaits him.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We're out and in.

XXIX \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Munitions Forge 2//////////////////////// XXIX
!!!!!+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+

Upgrade your Earth Shot and other breaths (if possible) now and around the
sticking up spikes are several Spirit Gems. Smash them to pieces and head
along out of the mines and outside, where a Buffalo Beetle will ambush you.

Earth him atleast twice to push him over the edge and go some more through
this narrow cliff edge to knock off another beetle. Ahead are two more
Magmaworms just wanting to fall to their death. Ahead is what we didn't want
or expect.

Great. It's another two DREADWINGS!! Though they seem eager to fall to their
death since they won't do the obvious thing and use their wings. So Earth them
off and ahead is another Magmaworm.

Earth him, Earth the Buffalo Beetle behind him, and Earth the Dreadwing
guarding some steps. Hop up 'em and you'll be going backwards, only higher up.

Start running across the tracks and what would you expect? That's right,
trains! ...Though it's mine carts here. Just glide in a curvy way around the
oncoming carts, and when you see a platform to your right, jump to it.

It's occupied by an MLS though, so just Earth him once and he'll fall below.
Glide to a nearby one with a couple of SLSs, which can too be Earthed off.

Go back onto the tracks, glide round some mine carts and yet another platform
to the right. This will act as a sort of a checkpoint, so if you happen to
fall off now, you can get back up via this moving platform.

It's also occupied by an MLS, so throw him off then back on the tracks. A
little bit ahead and you got yourself two more, only to the left. Occupy them
then head into a tunnel at the end of the tracks. Inside loads of Fire Beetles
will unstick from the walls, so fight them off and ahead some more to the one.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Exhumor raises his arm for battle

Spyro: Wait, wait, wait! We're on your side!

Exhumor: More like spies for the Conducter!... Or that flying beast, Cynder!

Spyro: Mole-Yair sent us!

Exhumor: My brother is alive?!

Sparx: He sure is, pal. He's all safe and sound. But I gotta say, he's the
friendly one in the family.

Exhumor: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. In these dark times, one can't take chances. So
Mole-Yair is alive. Wonderful news!... But why did he send you here?

Spyro: Well, he said you might be able to tell us where our friend, Terrador,
is.

Exhumor: If he's a big dragon, I certainly can. The majority of the
Manweersmalls are kept here in this camp, forced to live above ground and mine
for Cynder... and there are rumors that your dragon friend is being kept
somewhere inside... In the darkest pits of the volcano. All of us... are
doomed!

Spyro: Not if we have anything to say about it!

Exhumor: What do you mean?!

Sparx: Yeah... what DO you mean?!

Spyro: I mean we're going to free the Manweersmalls, venture to the darkest
pits of Boyzitbig, and find Terrador.

Sparx: Then it's off to karaoke!

Spyro and Mole-Yair look at Sparx as if he just farted in church
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Glide down below to the jail, where a huge amount of SLSs, MLSs and Leaders
are guarding the rest of the Manweersmalls.

Time for battle! The three Leaders of this area will ambush you though make
it all way harder by summoning waves and waves of LSs. Just push them around
all you can, so that too many don't surround you at once.

Try to push the Leaders especially into the lava pit in here, so that they
can't spawn any more soldiers. Just throw everyone around as if to look like
you were playing Dodgeball.

One of the Leaders can be easily taken care of, since he's standing right next
to the pit. Now get that final Leader pushed straight in there, making him
roll SLSs and MLSs into the pit on the way.

Just knock them all around! I am going crazy! This is true war! The real
battle within! I am the comintator and this match includes a home team of
Cynder and Steam's goons. The away team being Spyro.

I announce the score 0 to home, approx. 6,000 to away. Oh, this is good stuff,
so once all are dead or burnt to a crisp or frozen or even shot, you have won
the match! Though you are still to win the cup!

See those cages? Guess what's inside... Manweersmalls!!! Melee the cages open
and once the few Manweersmalls left are freed, the door... will open. Head
through the door, which'll trap you, now you can't go back.

Three SLSs will run up to you, so knock them dead and go round this L-shaped
chasm pit. Ahead will be another Buffalo Beetle! A bit stupid standing at the
edge of a cliff, dontcha think?

A Dreadwing will see this from below and will swoop up to you, so knock him
back down and then carry on round. Another edge only with a couple of beetles
and one more Dreadwing.

Make sure to throw the Dreadwing off first, since he seems to like to save the
Buffalo Beetles from certain death. Go further ahead where you should glide
from platform to platform while avoiding some harmful steam it throws out.

Make sure to push off a Leader on one, since it'll nearly kill him, but he
just survives. Glide down to a ledge which holds several SLSs guarding many
Spirit Gems.

Kill them and smash up the gems and scout the whole area which can not be
described in great detail. After that, work your way back up the maze of
islands and platforms to the top and through another tunnel.

This long tunnel consists of two Fire Beetle's nests, so smash them up and
smash the beetles themselves dead. Do the same with the other nest and at the
end of the tunnel is a bright blue room with three Buffalo Beetles in it.

Set off some dynamite next to the 2 of them and take cover as it blows all 3
to pieces. A tree in the next area has a crack in it for you to smash. The
next thing you know you're in a room full of Fire Beetles.

Find the many nests spread about continously spawning masses of Fire Beetles!
Smash them up along with the little termites 'til they all fill the room with
goo. Two Magmaworms will come from nowhere and start firing at you.

Fire at them with Ice or Earth 'til they explode and set off the dynamite in
the middle of the room.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back at Exhumor's stand

Sparx: Well, I see you two crazy kids found each other.

Mole-Yair: Yes, at last. Thanks to you.

Exhumor: We're just disappointed you didn't leave any fun for us.

Spyro: Maybe next time. So now... which way to Terrador?

Exhumor: That way (points somewhere), but be careful! The Conducter and his
maniacal locomotive will surely be nearby.

Sparx: When you say be careful, does that mean try not to die?!... I', trying
to do that anyway.

Mole-Yair: Come, Exhumor, we must get all the Manweersmalls underground...
where they belong.

Exhumor: Yes. It won't be long now.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next place you'll be is the center of Boyzitbig in a tall area near where
Terrador is being held. Run up the curving slope to glide to where you can
just reach and possibly get pushed to your death by an MLS! So Earth him off
and now for a bunch of crossing tracks.

Pass over the first track timing your run so as not to get hit by a minecart.
Just keep on running around crossing the crossing tracks, while getting the
last wave of trapped Manweersmalls along your way.

Turn around at one point for an ambush! A Leader will guard some dynamite,
himself being guarded by some summoned SLSs. Sneak behind him and wait for
them to blow up!

Carry on through the maze of tracks 'til you get the last one at a dead end.
You can now go back to the beginning of the area inside this tall area. Glide
up to the now open pathway and go up, Earthing off a couple of SLSs through
the railings.

Once up some more to the top of this area, a Leader will knock over a button,
forcing the door behind him closed. If you also wanted to know, he is the last
enemy here in Munitions Forge (excluding following boss), so expect some sign
of difficulty.

To make that difficulty harder, he won't let you get behind him to throw him
off the side. Just bomb him all you can. Also, if you knock the button back up
before he's dead, he'll just knock it down again before the door can open.
This makes way for some free attacks.

Once he's dead, hit the button and go through to the real center of Boyzitbig!

Spyro looks around to find Terrador trapped in a ball

Spyro: Is that... Terrador?!

Sparx: Big dragon being held prisoner in the center of an explosive volcano?
I'm guessing that's Terrador.

Spyro: Careful... it's never this easy.

Sparx: After the last two times, you're not gonna get an argument from me,
chief.

The Conducter crashes in on Steam

Sparx: Oh, here we go again!

The Conducter: You're a little late, fella. The crystal's already charged and
the volcano's ready to blow!... But before it does, me and Steam here are
gonna take great pleasure in running you down!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, who said the dead can't re-live?

Run around the arena, avoiding the small lava pits and Steam's bombs. When you
can, fire at the menace with flame bombs as much as you can. ONLY SHOULD YOU
EVER smash the Spirit Gems when you REALLY need them.

When you feeling confident, and think you know Steam's pattern in the circular
track, stand in the middle and wait for Steam to head at you. Jump out of the
way when he's near you and Steam'll crash into the wall.

At this point, bomb him with all ya got! Try to get him on his weak parts to
send his health really low. When Steam starts getting speed again, bomb, bomb,
bomb! Soon enough Steam's green bar will deplete.

Now Steam will spark and get faster, he also now likes to throw bombs directly
at you, so be more catious now. Just bomb and wait for Steam to crash into the
wall so that you can bomb him freely.

Once his orange bar has run down, Steam will spark a different colour and head
to nearly top speed! Not only that but he attacks way more than often and when
he passes you fire shoots at you from his engines.

Just keep on bombing! Around this final bar you'll probably run out of gems
and breath. The only thing you can do now is die and they'll be back. Stand
mid-track when you can and jump and glide out of the way of Steam.

Glide to avoid the fire shot at you, and bomb Steam all you can once he has
crashed. Once the red bar has depleted Steam'll spark again and try to go over
top speed but breaks down, leaving The Conducter to resign.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Terrador frees from his spherical cage

Terrador: The purple dragon... lives.

Sparx: He's got a name, you know.

Spyro: Yes, my name is Spyro... and you must be Terrador.

Terrador: Yes, yes, I am, and I must say I never though I'd live to meet you,
Spyro.

Sparx: Look, I'd love to sit here and hug everybody and chit chat, but how
'bout we leave before the volcano blows up?

Terrador: You're right. I've got to tell the others what Cynder is up to.

Sparx: Let's go. I'm right behind you. Actually, I'm right in front of you.

Terrador spots Cynder in the sky, heading right towards Spyro, but Spyro and
Sparx don't

Terrador: RUN!!!

Sparx: Look, when the guy says run, I think he knows something!

Cynder swoops straight down at Spyro, then Spyro spots her

Terrador: Go, Spyro! Fly like you've never flown before! I'll go back to the

master it. From what I saw of you on Munitions Forge, you are one such a
warrior. Young dragon, now is the time to complete your training... now is the
time to face your fear. Come.

Terrador and Spyro walk through to main room, Sparx trailing behind

Sparx: Am I the only one still petrified?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Woohoo! Here we go! Wait for Terrador to come in and your ready to begin!

The usual, first. The SDDs and MDDs are attacking and only your Earth Shot can
take them out. So, upgrade your Earth all the way (if you haven't already) and
shoot, shoot, shoot! Once all are fallen, go back to Terrador.

Just that again only a game of 'violent stuck in the mud'. The rules are very
simple: One's the catcher, the rest are escaping from the catcher. The capture
has to chase after them and Earth them dead. Last one standing wins. Prize:
Being Earthed. Once your game is over, go back to the middle.

Fury already?! You must be kidding me. It's secondary time! The reason for
being in the middle is that you'll be surrounded by a round Earth wall. Just
fire at the dummies circling the circle and once the bomb lands it will turn
into a mini-tornado! Go back to Terrador.

Now for just that only in a chase situation. Upgrade your Earth Breath as far
as you can, and if you manage to get Upgrade 3, fire crazily around to fire
masses of massive tornados! Watch and laugh as the SDDs are swept off the
floor into a whirling ride. Then jump up andmelee them. Go back to the middle.

Now it's Fury time! Run around shooting, bombing or meleeing the fleeing SDDs,
and just chuck them waves of critters about! For a real laugh, try triple
bombing one SDD! They'll spin to the ceiling! Anyway, once the Fury meter is
full (and the LDDs are swarming in) create the great avalanche.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Terrador: You've done well, Spyro.

Cyril: Yes, yes. Pat on the back... good going... all that other rubbish...
but we've got to get moving here!

Volteer: Cyril is terribly obnoxious but in this case he happens to be right,
Terrador. Ignitus is the final piece to Cynder's puzzle. If that last crystal
is powered, the portal will open and we'll all be done for!

Terrador: I know, I know. When I was on Munitions Forge, I overheard the
Conducter say that Cynder's final preparations would take place at her lair,
where she lives in solitude among the clouds and the towers. I am certain
that's where she's taken Ignitus.

Spyro: We have to go... come on.

Terrador: I'd give anything to go with you, young warrior, but that crystal
sapped the last of my will. I fear my fighting days are over.

Volteer: Every generation must pass the torch to the next, Terrador. Our time
is done.

Cyril: Yes, it is Spyro's time to shine. Now go to it, young dragon!

Spyro: Yes sir!

Sparx: Wow, you guys make even ME wanna face Cynder!

Spyro starts walks off... again

Sparx: Did I say that out loud?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here we go! Our training is over, so...

+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+!!!!!
XXXIII \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Concurrent Skies/////////////////////// XXXIII
!!!!!+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+-------+

...we are ready to take on Cynder! Wait a sec! At the point she is most
powerful?!?!

Weird how on the following level a big, thin black flying thing always swoops
past you.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Terrador (flashback): Cynder's Lair is where hope goes to die, Spyro. A dark,
foreboding place in which Cynder broods and skulks and plans her next assault.
You must make your way to her fortress, where I'm sure Ignitus is being held.

Spyro flies in to snowy land

Sparx: 'Next time I say that I want to face Cynder, why don'cha go 'head and
punch me in the mouth.

Spyro: No problem.

MIS jumps past

Sparx: Terrador made it sound like this place's uninhabi'ed.

Spyro: Now what fun would that be? Come on, we've got to take them out!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Into the un-roofed caves we go! In the distance you may be able to see three
tall towers, the one in the middle being biggest. You must work your way
through this maze of caves, and climb the towers where at the top of the
middle tower - somebody's there...

On each side of you, there are gems trapped in ice, so smash them open if you
wish. Venture forth into the caves, and run across to some steps leading up to
a ledge. Glide to another ledge from here where gems are kept, and continue
deeper into the snow-filled caves 'til you meet some old friends!

They're ISs from Dante's Freezer! Only a little more advanced with whiter
clothing and the fact the MIS is armed with a curved sword now. The MIS will
stay on a raised platform, where he'll watch you with three SISs. As for the
ground SISs, keep on Earth bombing them 'til they spin down.

The MIS and his guards will run off as the MIS accidently drops a dynamite on
the gate blocking your path. Run past the remains of the melted gate, and that
MIS will have a fight with another and win, pushing him to face you.

Take him out quickly if we're gonna catch that iruletheworlddude minion!
Continue through the maze you can't get lost in, over to some long since
frozen water rapids break point, where another new enemy lurks in some
still-warm water.

It's an Electric Leech! These guys are hard to beat, due to the fact that if
you step in the water they'll electrify it, and that while you're planning
your attack it likes to shoot long bolts at you. Anyway, it's bedtime so good
night and see you next time I continue with this guide!

Ahh, good...night?! Since it's only 20 mins 'til bedtime, better get on with
it. So, the Electric Leeches... Earth Breath does great on them. Once it's
floating, skip across the water, through some more maze, and straight into a
trap.

That menacing MIS is just ahead, though first you have to deal with a Leader!
He'll wrap you in a 'convexity' wall, and will jump down while screaming his
call for waves of more ISs.

Throw that big guy about! Also dodge the large amount of ISs that will keep on
jumping in, eager to get you this time. If you get the enemies closely-packed,
throw an Earth Bomb at them with full upgrade and watch them spin like crazy!

Once the Leader is dead, it's nowhere near over! Wave after wave after wave of
fleeing MISs, grabbing onto three SISs each, will dive down like bombs when
you should then dodge. Take care of this gigantic, undescribable battle in
triumph. The door opens!

Face to face, though extras involved, is that MIS we've been following since
the beginning of this level. His three puny guards will head for battle, while
he makes a close escape! He'll swap places with another MIS!

Throw his mate into the laser beams until he gets zapped dead. Now head left
round the corner and kick some menacing butt!!!

Now that that guys finally gone, continue through the lasers, following
patterns so that you don't get hit, and kick another MIS's butt! Now for some
raising of platforms!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spyro: We've gotta reach the top!

Sparx: Oh brother.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You are in a tall, metal room of which you are on the ground floor. A large
wave of SISs will greet you, so be on your guard. Once they're done with, leap
up to the first floor for some recruiting against you.

A gate, which leads to utter blackness, is straight ahead. You cannot get into
the gate, but enemies can get out! Waves of blood-thirsty SISs will swarm in
through the gate.

Remember the jail in Munitions Forge? Remember how you chucked the enemies
around? Do this here! Throw all the enemies you can soaring through the air,
and once all the many SISs have fallen, you will encounter a MIS.

This MIS is a tough one, so dodge at first as he tries to slay you, then
practically the only thing you can do is Earth Bomb. That MIS has a shield, so
can defend from Fire Bombs!

Once his done with, that crystal thingy in the ground will raise up to a
platform where you can jump up to the second floor. Here is another gate with
enemies fleeing out of it.

More MISs and SISs will start rushing in, though, by the help of gravity, if
you throw the ISs over the edge to the GROUND floor (not first floor) then
they will die.

Once the twice as big waves of ISs have finally stopped, TWO MISs will charge
in heading straight at Spyro. Just zap the rightmost one leftwards into the
leftmost one and drag them both off the edge.

Another crystal platform and a taller one will raise up the huge way to the
third floor! Here already will be 2 MISs and 3 SISs, along with a new enemy,
a Conduit. Once you come up, the Conduit will awake.

This is just a small electric ball, though with a twist. It'll grow into a
spherical camera, and a red light beam will turn 720 degrees. Push enemies
into the beam for them to be fried, and then you get killed. So instead just
wait for it to turn back again, then melee it before it can retransform.

NOW take care of the raiding enemies by chucking them off any edge, all
killing them. Once the huge waves of MISs, more MISs and way more SISs, the
Leader of them all will rig for battle!

...Only to be chucked over the edge. Two crystal platforms will rise a long
way, making level with you. Carefully (if you fall off, you have to get all
the way back up), glide between each of them, knocking off the SISs on each as
you go, and throw the MIS off at the end.

Go into the icy room, knocking the MIS on the platform down and beating him
up, and go into the next room for yet another new enemy, Ice Golems!!

Remember the Stone Golems in Tall Plains? Here they are again, only in ice
form! Go along the bottom cavern then jump to one of the sides, awaking one.
Go ahead and fire bomb him as usual and go melee, waking up the other one
behind him. Just keep on smashin' the golem until he crumbles.

Now take care of the other one, who's in the perfect position to be thrown
over the edge, where he'll hit the ground with a smash! Glide the other side,
pushing the last golem over the edge, then smash up all the Spirit Gems in the
area.

Jump right from the end and then drop down to a short cutscene.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cynder swoops right in Sparx's face and up again

Sparx: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!! I can't talk!!!...
Heart... breaking... up...

Spyro: Come on. Ignitus is waiting.

Spyro presses on into the caves
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kill the MIS a little bit further on, and take out his band of misfits. Go
through some large doors to an arena. About 15 SISs will jump down at exactly
the same time. Flush them all down the loo and the game will save as another
pair of large door open.

Stuck on a boss and can't find it in the walkthrough? Look here and you can
save seconds of your life!

--------
Ice King
--------

Location: Ice King's Chamber (through cave into dark under-area end of Dante's
Freezer)

Description: Large, rock-hard, block-shaped ice golem armed with a club/sword

The green bar. Bomb the Ice King all you can until an icy shield surrounds him
turning him almost invincible. He'll send some icicles flying down. Just dodge
them then once done smash them for some gems if needed. Start running away
from the striding Ice King until he stops to throw a few spikey ice things in
your way. Just jump over them when they come and the ice shield will go down.
Bomb and bomb all you can again and then icicles, spikes, bomb, icicles,
spikes, bomb and eventually the Ice King will look a bit damaged and his
health bar will start refilling.

Eventually the Ice King will keel over and
is dead.

--------------
Stone Sentinel
--------------

Location: Stone Sentinel's Island (far island across long bridge end of Tall
Plains)

Description: Massive, bulky rock golem with one arm that can spread far via
chain

Soon enough the Stone Sentinel will be like the Golems: a pile
of rocks.

-------------
The Conducter
-------------

Location: The Conducter's Tracks (in coalmine tracks on minecart end of
Munitions Forge I

Description: On caboose of Steam the locomotive, an orangey texture like the
MLSs

-----
Steam
-----

Location: End of Munitions Forge II (at the top of the tall volcano Boyzitbig
after an area full of locomotives - Steam's Arena)

Description: Short, purple train front (locomotive) with The Conducter riding
on it

---------------
Cynder (escape)
---------------

Location: Escape From Cynder (high flying zone full of Dreadwings end of
Steam's Arena)

A simple flight level here, make sure to be speeding pretty much all the time.
Cynder will just fire black fire balls at you, so dodge from them. If you keep
speeding much of the time, Cynder won't even use her breath attack on you.
Also dodge when Dreadwings are in your path, or shoot them down if you wish.
Just make your way under the tunnel, between the cliffs, and dodge the lava
flows. Once you leave the lava areas and are in an open area, a cutscene
plays.
