then you should go to the inn or hotel to save. If you are in a dungeon, then
you will need to use the save point.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Series' Words>

The Tengai Makyou series uses its own sort of words, such as these ones:

Virtue: This is basically experience, you will need it to increase 'Grade'
Grade: This is basically level
Vitality: As it says, your HPs. If it reduces to zero, you can't fight anymore
Tech: This is required to use 'Magic'

Skill Efficiency: The target degree of each skill and magic that one should use
Coin: This is the currency in the game

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Growth And Strengthen>

Basically, you just fight and win battles, get virtue and grade up. Grading up
and you can get new skills. To further strengthen yourself in battle, you can
buy weapons and armors, as well as items. All that required Coin and you get
those through battles mostly. However, you can also find those, as well as
differnt items, weapons and armors...etc There is also Accessories you can have
and you can also buy or find those, as well as making them at Craftsman House.

Skills, basically the more you use them, the higher the Skill Efficiency. With
the degree of the skills are max, you can mostly learn new ones, as well as new
Ougi. However, you would also need to Grade up as well for higher ones. You can
also Initiate the skills, but you would need the item "Skill's Approval".

Magic, you have none to begin with. Through out the game, you would find these
Hermitages of Tengu and each of those Tengu will give you a scroll then you
can equip them on characters just what you did with the skills, then use them
as many as you can to increase up the Skill Efficiency. Once that Efficiency
degree is max, you no longer need to equip that scroll in order to use it.

gauge thingy below the character name. It increases as you attack or receive
damage, it decreases as you use skills. If it's full, then you can use Ougi by
pressing the Triangle button. If more than one character has their Fighting
Spirit Bar full, then you can do Ougi Chain. When you have one character doing
an Ougi, if possible, the screen will pop up directions for you to do, such as

effect besides the basic.

point in case you need to save your game. Once you are done, go north and more

battle of the game. This fight is simple and easy against these Night Demons.
After, head back and save your game, then upper left to the village. Now head
toward Ichiyo's home and more scene. Speak with the possessed Ichiyo's father
to begin another fight. Once you defeat Ichiyo's father, more scenes. Once you

the Map. Once you are out and back to the OverWorld, continue to NE a bit and
enter Mountain Kunimi.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Mountain Kunimi>

Head left a bit and get 2 "Rice Cake" from the item box. Then exit out this
area. Back on the OverWorld, go SE to Field Hill Village.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Field Hill Village>

In this place, you can take the ship to Usuki Village.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Usuki Village>

Near the exit of the village, there is an item box contains "Shining Sword".

One of the houses in this village has an item box that contains "Nectar Pill",
the villager in the kitchen of Moumou Temple gives you 3 "Citrus Rice Cake",
there is also an item box by the river that got the "Bamboo Body". Once you are
done, exit out the village at NW. Back on the OverWorld, go right and continue
along the path to yet another Hermitage of the Tengu.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This Tengu here will give you the scroll "Devil Thunder". Then back to the
OverWorld, and go to the north of Yufuin Village to get to Yabakei.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Yabakei>

Continue up to a save point. Cross the bridge and go left to another area. Go
along the path and there will be an opening to the right that leads to an item
box that contains "Aganoyaki Teacup", then there will be another opening to the
left that leads to another item box that contains "Return Stone", and finally
another opening to the north to the next area. Save your game and exit out to
the OverWorld. To the right, there is Beppuchou; To NE, there are Sunrise
Village and another Hermitage of the Tengu. To the north of Yabakei, there is
the Relief Village. To the left of Relief Village, there is the Usachou. NE of
Usachou, there is another Hermitage of the Tengu. To the NW of the Hermitage
of the Tengu, there is Monji Village. East of Usachou, there is Mountain Kubote
for you to explore. Your next destination is the "Hell Tour" which is a bit
east from Relief Village.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Beppuchou>

You can buy all sort of new things from shops.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Sunrise Village>

You can buy couple new things here as well. There is an item box behind a house
that contains 3 "Refreshing Medicine".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

The Tengu here will give you the scroll "Illusional Mist".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Relief Village>

You can buy couple new things and one villager will give you 2 "Crystal". There
is also an item box that contains an "Obsidian". Just outside the temple, to
the left, there is another item box that contains a "Fundamental of Defense".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Usachou>

You can buy an "Empty Bottle" from Risa. There are some new things you can buy
and few new shops.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

The Tengu here will give you the scroll "Dull Speed".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Monji Village>

You can buy couple new things and an item box contains "Bamboo Spear" while one
more contains the "Rice Bowl With Pretense Taste".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Mountain Kubote>

Continue to the left. In the next area, save your game. Go all the way up and
just before you get to the next area, go right for an item box that contains
"Skill's Approval". In the next area, continue to the left. Continue along the
path and you would see a mountaineering ascetic that give you "Famous Water".
After, continue to the left and take the right bridge first to a red item box
that contains a fearsome consecutive 1001 enemies fight. Yes, you heard that
right, 1001 enemies and no break at all. Avoid opening this item box, please.
You can not escape the battle once you opened it. But if you did, you won't
believe how much you actually have to fight, from this "Box of Veritable
Pandemonium":

1st Set of Enemies: 28 Akadama
2nd Set of Enemies: 28 Spring Rabbit
3rd Set of Enemies: 28 Zuttoko
4th Set of Enemies: 16 Yato
5th Set of Enemies: 29 Akadama
6th Set of Enemies: 29 Desert's Thorn
7th Set of Enemies: 29 Eyeball Eater
8th Set of Enemies: 29 Urami
(The rest is not available at this point since I died around there)

Anyway, continue to the south. At the intersection, take the right bridge to
an item box that contains "Broken Copper Halberd". Back track and take the
south bridge. Save your game and don't bother to go south at this point since
it's blocked at first. What you could do here is fight with the Poyopoyo. Kill
all of them down to 1, then they will call more, repeat. This could level up
and get some nice coins with this, besides, there is also a save point near.
Once you are done, use a "Return Stone" to warp back to the OverWorld or if you
don't want to waste any of those, back track your way out.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Hell Tour>

Go up and get 3 "Copper" from the item box at left corner. Then head to the
right and continue along the path. Get the "Great Sword of Iron" from the item
box, then continue to the left. At the intersection, go left for another item
box that contains "Near-Broken Sword". Then go up and before the save point, go
right a bit for another item box that contains 2 "Refreshing Medicine". Go save
your game and up to north. Use the rock to cover up the lower geyer. Next, 2
rocks and 2 geyers. The item box contains a "Rusty Dagger". Then go north. Save
your game and go right that eventually leads to an item box that contains the
item "Fundamental of Power". Then go left from the save point, go south a bit
then to right for an item box that has 2 "Return Stone". Once you are ready for
a boss fight, head to north from NW. More scene then get near Ichimotsu for
more scenes. Then you will end up fighting Ichimotsu and side enemies. Use the
"Charge" + "Flash Slash" combo. If you have learned the skill "Defensive
Smashing", that's great. If you need to, use the Ougi "Surge Slash". If you
have already learned the Ougi "Halo Slash", that's great to take out the side
enemies and also damage Ichimotsu. Ichimotsu will mostly use "Possession" to
hide himself among the enemies. Then you should just take out the side enemies.
Once he shows up again, attack him with the above combo or use Ougi if you can.
Ichimotsu can attack 3 times so watch out your HPs. Heal if you need. After the
battle, more scenes.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Beppuchou>

To help Ichiyo, Tsugumi wishes you to get "Ten Thousand Life Herb" at Mountain
Kubote. Well, go there.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Mountain Kubote>

Well, if you follow this walkthrough then you have been here already. You know
your ways. The "Ten Thousand Life Herb" we are looking for is at the same area
as the red item box. Remember where you pass/go south from there, and meet yet
another intersection? Then you go right and eventually lead you to the item
"Broken Copper Halberd"(a bit north of the save point at that area)? Left of
that "Broken Copper Halberd", check the sparkling redish herb then select yes.
You will obtain "Ten Thousand Life Herb". Then more scenes. Ushibouzu will join
the party. Use a "Return Stone" or back track out, before you exit out, there
should be another scene. Then back to Beppuchou.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Beppuchou>

Head back to the hotel. Go up to second floor and head toward Tsugumi for more
scenes. After, go down to the first floor. Go NW at the first floor to the
bath area. Now attempt to enter the Women's Bath and select the first choice
for more scenes. Now go up to second floor toward Ushibouzu for more scene.
After, leave the hotel. More scene and Ushibouzu will leave the party, so will
Ichiyo and Tsugumi. Now, time to go get Ushibouzu.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Yufuin Village>

As you arrive, take couple steps down for more scene. Continue to the right and
another little scene. Now go up to the Moumou Temple for more scene. You will
end up fighting Shiromotsu and Kuromotsu. Clear the side enemies first. If you
have Ushibouzu with max Fighting Spirit Bar, use his first Ougi, "Purification
of Ten Thousand Thoughts". If you have Namida with max Fighting Spirit Bar, use
his third Ougi(if you have it), "Halo Slash". Once you clear the side enemies
out, focus on Shiromotsu first. Both Namida and Ushibouzu can use the "Charge"
+ Attack combo. Both Shiromotsu and Kuromotsu can use Possession, but if you
take them all out like you did with Ichimotsu, then they won't use it.
Shiromotsu is the one that can summon out more so that's why you should focus
on it first. Kuromotsu can be difficult since it uses magic and its special
move, "Hold Up The Dirty Hand". After the battle, more scene. Ushibouzu will
join the party. At the same area of Moumou Temple, there is a shop. Make sure
you buy a brush because you will need one later. Now head to Sunrise Village.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Sunrise Village>

Go NE to the Village Chief's house. Speak with the Village Chief. He wants a
Moumou Temple brush, and what he wants could be random each time, so it might
depends. Give him the brush and you will get the "Resembling Flowers". Now head
to Hell Tour.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Hell Tour>

At the first area, go to the right and as you get near, there will be another
scene. With the "Resembling Flowers", you can blow up the blocked path. Now go
right to a new area. Save your game. Staying in the mud here will lose your HPs
so watch out for that. To NW, there are item boxes that contain "Nectar Pill"
and 2 "Refreshing Medicine". At the NE part, there is another item box that
contains 3 "Bun With Hazardous Inners". Once you are ready, go north. Save your
game and go left a bit for a "Clear Decoration". And take the center path for
the boss fight against Kuromotsu and Shiromotsu again. It's the same fight from
before, if you can, chain up Ushibouzu's first Ougi "Purification of Ten
Thousand Thoughts" with Namida's "Surge Slash". This sure clear up the side
enemies quickly, as well as damaging the two bosses. After the battle, continue
to north to exit out to the OverWorld. Continue north to the Umesato Village.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Umesato Village>

You can shop around here, but all old stuff. The house north of the inn, the
person named as Misato Baien will promt you with a choice, pick the first
optional to get "Essential Point of the Universe". There is also an item box
at northern part that contains 2 "Magnifying Glass". When you are done, go
north to exit out the village to return to the OverWorld. To the left, there
is another Hermitage of the Tengu.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

The tengu here will give you the scroll "Dull Power". Then return to the Over-
World and go north of Umesato Village to Mountain Inomure.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Mountain Inomure>

Go up. There is an item box to the left. It has 4 "Fur". Continue along the
path and save your game. Head up to the next area. Continue along the path to
the left, and by the intersection, go left for an item box that has 1 "Sunny
Scent Rice Cake". Continue to the right and go along the path to the next area.
At the top of the hill, go north. Continue along and head down the hill. The
item box here has the a "Skill's Approval". Continue and save your game. Then
go north. A fixed battle should trigger and Ichiyo will join in this fight.
After, Ichiyo will give you the "Letter From Mother". Then Ichiyo will join the
party. Continue to north to exit out to the OverWorld. Go left first to yet
another Hermitage of the Tengu.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

The tengu here will give you the scroll "Devil Wind". Then back out to the Over
World and go north of Mountain Inomure to Castle of Alteration.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<Castle of Alteration>

As you enter, more scenes. After, save your game. Enter at north. Continue up
and cut the cocoon to release the first child. You will get a "Shell". Continue
along the path and go right to up the ramp to get 2 "Stick Rice Cake". Then go
north to the next area. Save your game, continue along the path to get to yet
another cocoon. Cut it and release another child to get a "Toy Ring". Go along
and you could get a "Pure Dancing Clothes" on the way. Continue on and you'd
get to another cocoon for the third child. You would get a "Hand-Rolled Yellow
Rice". Continue to the next area. Save your game and go right to another area
first. Break the spider strings and the item box would come down. It contains
2 more "Skill's Approval". Now take the upper left path back to the previous
area. You can take the spider web here to the very bottom where you can get a
"Dead Roster Cloth". Anyway, your goal is the lower/second left area that you
can get to while the spider web is going down. At that area, you can find yet
another cocoon with the 4th child. This one would give you a "Magnifying Glass"
then go up to get 3 "Refreshing Medicine". You can ignore that elevator that's
near. Anyway, continue to the left. You would find a "Gleamed Stone". Then get
near the cocoon to release the 5th child to obtain a "Citron Dumpling". After,
go left to another area first, you would need break spider strings again to get
the item box to come down but after a fight, however. Then you could get the
"Fundamental of Life". Back track to the previous area then go upper right to
see a short scene then save your game. Cut the wall and go north to the next
area. You would end up fight Ichimotsu with 4 Dekamotsu. Similar to previous
fight, Ichimotsu seem to have more HPs. Just take care of those 4 Dekamotsu
and watch out for Ichimotsu's Illusional Mist. After, more scenes. Ushibouzu
will leave the party. BTW, the castle now changes to Fire Shrine. Now time to
return all the way to Monji Village.

<Monji Village>

Head to the bridge toward the ship, and Ushibouzu will join the party. Then you
can take the ship to Shikanoshima Village.

<Shikanoshima Village>

Explore the left part of the village and exit out at the right. Go right from
you are on the World Map, to Munakata Village.

<Munakata Village>

There isn't anything interesting here and there are shops here as well. SE from
Munakata Village, there is Yoshino Village.

<Yoshino Village>

Nothing noticable at the moment. There are few person here you can talk to buy
things or rest. SW of Shikanoshima Village, there is another Hermitage of the
Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one here will give you "Prohibited Seal". SW of this Hermitage of the
Tengu, there is another one.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one here will give you "Dull Solid". South from here, there is Kanayama
(Gold Mountain).

<Kanayama/Gold Mountain>

You can't enter the cave right now. You can rest here if you wish. To the east
of here, there is Dazaihu.

<Dazaihu>

There are lots of shops here and you can even buy weapons for some upcoming
party member. However, you won't be able to enter the northern castle at this
point. Go SW of Dazaihu to get to Saga Village.

<Saga Village>

Nothing really stand out here, just few shops. From Shikanoshima Village, go W
to get to Hakatachou.

<Hakatachou>

Shop around at the first area, save your game then head to the western section.
Buy around the plaza if you want, to continue to south. Make your way to the
southern house and a scene. After, enter that house. Take the left path and
you will eventually get into a fight. Go right for an item box then go south
to take the lift down.

Save your game. You will notice that Ka-Bu-Ki poster by the corner. Anyway,
move on. Take the first Ka-Wall, then lower Bu-Wall, then Ki-Wall. Continue on
to the next area.

Make your way to lower right. Next area, we have a big puzzle here. Follow
these directions:

Right Ka, Up Bu, Left Ki, Left Ka, Up Bu, Left Ki, Down Ka, Left Bu, Left Ki,
Up Ka, Right Bu, Up Ki, Down Ka, Right Bu, Up Ki.

A battle then you will get a key. Go right then take the lift up. Exit out this
town and head to Dazaihu.

<Dazaihu>

Head to the northern castle. Go toward the left door for a scene. Now, enter
that left door since you do have the key now. Continue to the north to enter
the castle.

Go right to go down. Next area, save the near man within the cell. Continue on
to the right for more scene. After, save your game and move on to the right.

Next area, lots of guards here. you are to avoid them. You do get a view of
where each one is and which way they are looking at. It's not really that hard.
For some guards, just wait a bit and they will turn to the other way. Your goal
is to make it your lower right, then take the stairs up from there.

Second area, a bit harder. Your goal is to make it to the left. Some guards are
moving back and forth now, so take your time with this and check their
patterns.

Next area, just a little tricky. Wait til a person comes, then the near guard
will turn to the right, then you can just run to the left and enter that room.
More scene, then a fight. After, go out from the south. Now go back to that
Hakatachou.

<Hakatachou>

Go to the western area. Back toward that house at south. More scene. Pick the
third name. Enter the house for another scene. Now, exit out and head to that
place called Kanayama/Gold Mountain on the World Map.

<Kanayama/Gold Mountain>

Pay that man near the cave to go in. Continue down to the next area.

Keep digging til you get some Gold. Once you got Gold, go back out. Now, go to
Yoshino Village.

<Yoshino Village>

Head to a house to north/northeast. Within, an oldman would trade you a Vajra
Stone if you have 99 Water. Now, back to Hakatachou.

<Hakatachou>

Head back to that southern house in the western area. Speak with Giemon within.
Upon giving him the Gold and Vajra Stone, you will obtain the "Mechanical Sand
Mole". With the Sand Mole, you will be able to go through those sand storms on
the World Map. Now, head SE from Saga Village. There should be a storm there.
And pass there, there is another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you "Blue Pine". From where you are on the World Map, go
directly north to another storm. The storm is about NE of Dazaihu. Pass that
storm, and to that castle.

<Castle of Charm>

Save your game and enter the castle. Go to the northern part for a scene. Pick
the second choice. You will fall down to a pit. After, make your way to SW to
go up. After, head to NE and go up stairs. Continue to south for another save
point. Continue to the left and then check that mirror.

You will end up fighting "Steel Purity". Don't bother attacking it yet. When
it got rings covering, you won't be able to do damage. Turn by turn, those
rings will disappear. It will also use Prohibited Seal, so be sure to cure that
after. Defend til the 3 rings are done, then attack.

After, continue on to the left. Before you go up stairs, go right a bit to save
your game. Then after the stairs, go north. Speak with the female in the water.

This time, you fight "Red Hot Passions". Use Magic this time, "Devil Water"
works well here. This will take a while though cuz it has tons of HPs.

After, continue to the right. Eventually, you will be in a room with statues.
Position them like this:

--B--
--P--
-R-W-
-----
--G--

B: Black
R: Red
W: White
P: Purple
G: Grey

Once you put them correctly, the door will open. Enter, save your game and go
up for boss fights.

Start off with Shanne. She uses attacks like Devil Wind, Passionate Sandstorm,
Love Slave's Tribute, Blood Cosmetic Storm...etc Passionate Sandstorm and that
Blood Cosmetic Storm are pretty powerful full party attacks, so besure to heal
after that. This will take a while due to the fact that she has tons of HPs.

After you beat her, she will transform, yup, another fight with her. This one
has more HPs and a bit stronger than the previous one. The attack you should
watch out for is "My Thousand Children" which cause quite a lot of damage, so
besure to keep your HPs high.

After, you will be back to the World Map. Go to Saga Village.

<Saga Village>

Continue to the west and you can cross the bridge now. After some more scene,
continue to the west. At south, you can take a ship. At west end, you can exit
out. Let's take the ship for now, to Yanagawa Village.

<Yanagawa Village>

Explore around. There are shops and for the northern part, you can ride the
boat around to explore, if you are willing to pay. After, head out at east. At
north of Yanagawa Village, there is Umashika Village.

<Umashika Village>

Speak around if you wish. Ther are also item boxes around. At east of Yanagawa
Village, there is another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you the "Hermit Eye". At SE of Yanagawa Village, there is
the Hachiman Shrine.

<Hachiman Shrine>

Nothing really interesting, except an item box within. Now, back track all the
way to Saga Village.

<Saga Village>

Exit out at west this time. Then enter the mountain that's near.

<Mountain Takara>

Continue to the left. Eventually, you would meet with Tonkararin. It will join
your party in the end. Save your game and continue to the west. Once you are
out on the World Map, go SW for another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you the "Starly Sleep". Ok, NW of Mountain Takara, there are
Karatsu Village and Imari Village.

<Karatsu Village>

Just few shops around, nothing interesting right now.

<Imari Village>

More shops and there is another item box around. At the east of Karatsu
Village, there is Mountain Ikazuchi/Thunder Mountain. But, don't go to explore
that place yet. At south of Imari Village, there is Arita Village.

<Arita Village>

Speak with Kuriemon in some house to the left. Now exit out and head to that
Mountain Ikazuchi/Thunder Mountain.

<Mountain Ikazuchi/Thunder Mountain>

Continue up and eventually, you will get to the first lightning area. Don't go
north, because that leads to another "Box of Veritable Pandemonium". Anyway,
moving pass the second lightning area to the next area. Continue on and make
your way to SW. You will meet up with Sanbee. You will get the Soil from him.
Now return to Arita Village.

<Arita Village>

Go to speak with Kuriemon. Give him the Soil. Now head to Imari Village.

<Imari Village>

You can take a ship to Sasebo Village.

<Sasebo Village>

Explore around and check out some shops here. Exit out at west. At west of the
Sasebo Village, there is another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you "Moon Grass". At south from where you are, there is the
Nagasakichou. Don't check that out yet. Go east from Nagasakichou, there is the
Unsen. Don't explore that either. North of Unsen, there is Shimabara Village.

<Shimabara Village>

Just explore around and there are few shops here. To the NW of Shimabara
Village, there is another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you "God Speed". At north of Shimabara Village, there is the
Giyaman Mansion. Anyway, go check out Nagasakichou.

<Nagasakichou>

Go up for a short scene. Go left and right to see more people being taken away
by Idaten. Then explore around and speak with other female to see Idaten take
them away. This is quite a big area, and there are lots of houses anf shops you
can check out. Once you are done checking around, go to the northern area. You
will end up fight Idaten. Don't bother, he will end the battle with "Fastest
Barrage Method". After, exit out and head to Giyaman Mansion.

<Giyaman Mansion>

Continue up to the house. Go take the left door. First up, 4 clocks. Hear the
melody well, and check each clock to see which ones fit. Next up, there are 8
of them. This is a bit harder but few more tries, you would get it. All these
are random, so I can't help you much. After, check the item box to north for a
fight. After, go back to the first room of the mansion.

This time, go right. Get near the warp at the upper right corner. You will be
in a white room. Take the warp at lower right. You will be in a starly purple
room. Take the warp at upper right. You will be in a red room. Grab the item
box to back to the starly purple room. Take the warp point a bit west of the
upper right corner warp point. You will be in the red room again. Take the warp
point at lower right. Now, save your game and check the item box at north. Beat
the enemies then back to the first room of the mansion.

With the 3 glasses you have, input them to the stained glasses. There should be
3 slots you can put in. After, go back outside. Go down at the central stairs.
The order here is: Up, Left, Down then Right. Next, the order is: SE, NE, NW
then SW. Go north and check the item box for another fight. After, exit out and
head to Nagasakichou.

<Nagasakichou>

Upon entering, a scene with Mantoh. You will end up fighting it. After you beat
it, head to the Item Shop at NE. He will give you the Unsen Key. Now, exit out
and head to Unsen.

<Unsen>

Continue on, open the door and go along the path. Eventually, there will be
monkeys throwing rocks at you. Just hurry and dash to the right. As for the
bridge area, it's easy if you move up left and right. The monkeys will just
target at one location, you just need to move to the other side before they
throw. Continue on to move on Unsen. From where you are, go west a bit for yet
another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you "Gale". Continue to south and you would get to Oresama
Rando/My Land.

<Oresama Rando/My Land>

Check the machine to the right of the gate, input "Oresama" in hiragana and
then "Rasodo" in katakana. Basically, it's mostly the name of this place, but
that Mantoh changed 'n' to 'so'. Yup, REAL SMART! Anyway, go in. Go up and
check Mantoh out. You will fight it again. It's yet another easy battle like
the last time. After, continue on. Just watch out for the banana on the way.
Continue on and a scene with the cat. Continue up and you will fight Mantoh
again. This is a harder fight but if you heal frequently, you should be fine.
I think the harder part is to stand against Mantoh's talking which will never
stop. After, continue up. Miya will join your party. After, exit out. Now, do
not go south yet. Go to the most eastern part. There should be yet another
Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you the "Divine Solid". Now, go south of Oresama Rando/My
Land.

<Fastest Castle>

Save your game and go up. Namida's "Speed" will be tested here. If it meets the
requirement, the door will be opened. The requirement is around 200.

First tent, Fastest Questioning. Read the question and pick the answer ASAP.
If you are slow, just Pause the game.

After that, go to the left. Pass through the blocks and to another tent.

It's Fastest Numbering this time. Count how many of them and answer ASAP.
Remember, you can always Pause the game.

Back to the Fastest Questioning tent, then go right. Eventually, you will get
to the Fastest Drumming tent. Use Square, X and Circle to bounce the bomb.

Just remember, Fastest Questioning, Fastest Numbering and Fastest Drumming all
need to be cleared. Fastest Numbering and Fastest Drumming are rather easy, but
the Fastest Questioning can be difficult if you don't know much Japanese. For
the Fastest Questioning, each time you answer it incorrectly, you have to go
around and search the "Questioning Note". The question will get easier and
easier, however. For the Fastest Drumming, the number of times you need to
bounce will also decrease with each time. It's from 50 times, to 30, then 10
then 1 and finally, the 5th time is an automatically "CLEAR". The bad thing is,
with each time failed, 1/4 of your money will be deducted.

Anyway, once you got all 3, speak with Idaten at the first tent. Take the new
path at north to go on.

You will fight "Panther Of The Right" and "Falcon Of The Left". Go take out the
Falcon first, then the Panther. After, take the ladder up. Save your game and
enter the near tent.

This is the Fastest Maze. This wouldn't be too hard if that "Fastest Mantoh"
isn't running like crazy. There is an easy way out of this. Work against that
Mantoh. Meaning, which ever way he comes from, that's the way you take. Thus,
work your way to the east, then up and to the right. You CAN avoid Mantoh
easily if you know which way he is running at. With few tries, you would know
which way he comes from and where you should be standing to avoid him. Once you
make it to north, save your game at the left. Go down the ladder and then make
your way to the cells.

Check the switch at north and Fastest Mantoh will come. You would fight it once
again. Defend til its machine breaks down. Then attack with all you got. After,
press the switch. After, go back up to the save point. Then take the north path
here.

You will end up fighting Idaten. Start it up by using Dull Speed and God Speed.
The rest is just a long fight. Nothing all that difficult, but you will need to
heal a lot. Afterward, Ichiyo will be taken away. Go back to Nagasakichou.

<Nagasakichou>

Go up and a scene. Continue up to the northern area. Go to upper right and you
can speak with the man from before. Speak with Hoteimaru again when you are
ready to move on.

<Amakusa Village>

After a scene, you will end up in a fight. After, head to the eastern part of
the village for another fight. Afterward, exit out the village. To the north,
there is another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you "Heavenly Grass". Northeast of here, you can find yet
another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you "Furious Water". Southeast of here, there is the Uto
Village.

<Uto Village>

Nothing interesting, but there are few shops around. South of Uto Village on
the World Map, there is yet Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you "Furious Thunder". To the east here, you can get to
Kumagawa. There is nothing to do there right now. To the NE of the Hermitage
of the Tengu that gives you "Furious Water", there is Raitetsugan.

<Raitetsugan>

Go up and get zap. A scene and back track out this place. To the most eastern
part of the map, there is Kikuikedani. You can't pass there yet. SW from here,
there is Kumamotochou.

<Kumamotochou>

Pretty big area to explore. There are few shops around. At the eastern part,
you will spot Tsugumi who has been petrified. Now head to Kumagawa.

<Kumagawa>

Speak with the guard and pick the third option. Go take the left wooden log,
then take the right one after. Then exit out at south. On the World Map, head
to the west for yet another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you "Crazy Bull". Go south from here to Yatsushiro Village.

<Yatsushiro Village>

Just few shops around, nothing interesting either. Back on the World Map, check
the northeastern part for Taketsumi Village.

<Taketsumi Village>

Speak around and head to the northern area. Cut the Bamboo til you get the
Golden Bamboo Drop. Now get back to Tsugumi.

<Kumamotochou>

Use the Golden Bamboo Drop on Tsugumi. She will joins the party at the end. Go
to the NW mansion. Speak with the guard. Within, just continue to make your way
to the Lord of the mansion. He will give you an Intro Letter. Now exit back to
the World Map, and head to Kikuikedani.

<Kikuikedani>

Speak with the guard. Show the Intro Letter and you can enter. Continue to the
north to exit out. On the World Map, go right first to another Hermitage of the
Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one will give you "Furious Fire". Back on the World Map, go north to the
Hachiman Shrine.

<Hachiman Shrine>

Go up and enter the shrine. Afterward, back to Amakusa Village.

<Amakusa Village>

Head toward the southern area. By the ramp, a scene. Continue down and speak
with that Hoteimaru. Speak to him again when you are ready.

<Hachimanhama>

Exit out at the east. On the World Map, continue to the east.

<Konbirachou>

Head into a big house to the right. Speak with a man within. You will learn a
password. Exit out at NE. Back on the World Map, continue to the right to enter
Hyakugainuma.

<Hyakugainuma>

Speak with the man to the left, and speak the password you learned previously.
It should be the last choice unless it's in random order. You will end up at
the south part. If you wish, you can explore around. However, this is no easy
task. You need some skill and luck here to avoid the ghosts. Anyway, if you are
not up for that, just exit out at south. On the World Map, go to the most north
for another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Divine Power". Back on the World Map, most north west here,
there is the Mountain Oni Eye. Go through it at NW. There is actually another
"Box of Veritable Pandemonium" here. Anyway, once you are out on the other side
of the mountain, go NE to another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Furious Freeze". Anyway, back track back to the other side
of the mountain, and head to the Oni Castle at SW of Hyakugainuma.

<Oni Castle>

Head up for a scene. It's Oniroku from before. Head to most north to speak with
the Oni General. After, back to the entrance. Just go a bit north from there,
speak with the guards and you enter the Arena. Within, it's one on one: Namida
VS Oni Ichiban. If your Namida is packed with healing and support magic, you
should be fine. After, you will obtain the key. Exit out to the World Map. SW
of here, there is the Heavenly Oni Island.

<Heavenly Oni Island>

Head up and use the key to open the door. Continue your way around, and go down
at the center. Continue all the way down the spiral path, then save your game.
Get near that Tametomo for more scene.

You will end up fight "Naraku's Ten Eyes". Use "Illusional Mist" and any Fire
or Thunder based magic. Avoid Water based ones though. Afterward, as Tatetomo
will come along. Exit out this place, Tatetomo will join your party.

After, head back to Hyakugainuma.

<Hyakugainuma>

This time, you HAVE to go through here. Make your way to the right to the next
area. Then go north(slightly to east) to another area. From there, go north to
exit out. This sounds easy, but avoiding the ghosts here can be such a pain.
Good Luck!

After, go back to Konbirachou. Go through it and head to Hachimanhama. Speak
with Hoteimaru in Hachimanhama. Take the ship to Amakusa Village. Exit out this
village, and head to Raitetsugan.

<Raitetsugan>

Head up and Tametomo will destroy the rock. You will end up in a battle. After,
you can go north to exit out. On the World Map, head into the northern
structure.

<Thunder Castle>

Save your game. Go up and enter the door. Go around from the left, to get to
the north. Hit the yellow switch. Just hit Circle when the 2 current get to the
yellow zone. Enter the door to the next area.

Get to the red switch then you can hoop on to the blue line. Next, get to the
blue switch then take the blue line at lower left. Then take the near red line.
Step on the red switch near and take back the red line you came from. Then just
go south to move on.

You will eventually get to another door. This time, there are 4 currents. Next
area, continue to north so you can make your way to south. Save your game. You
will get to another door and it's 6 currents this time. This one is little bit
harder. But when you fail few times, it will open automatically.

Next, avoid the currents to get to another door. It's 8 currents this time.
Moving on, you will fight 2 mini bosses: Wind Cloud Official and Blue Spark.
You should use "Furious Water" and take out Wind Cloud Official first.

After, continue on to south. Avoid the currents to head to south again. You
will get to anothe door and there are 10 currents this time.

Next area, get to the blue switch then go north to get up a ramp. Take the red
line then get to the red switch. Take the red line back. After, take the red
line at south. Then go right to up another ramp. Take the near blue line then
to the blue switch. Then continue to the south.

Save your game again. Continue on and you will finally get to fight that Nigi.
Effective magic here are Illusional Mist and Furious Water. Have two characters
to heal then one to attack. Nigi's attacks are pretty powerful, so keep your
HPs high. If your HPs are high, give your best.

After, Oni Ichiban will join your party and you will get into another fight,
against Electric Device Giant. This is a harder fight than previous one. So
your need more defendings and healings. Again, its weakness is also Water, thus
Furious Water works well. Any Armor and Acc you have that are good against the
element of Thunder, well, EQUIP them!!! Also, Oni Ichiban should be within the
active party.

After, head back to Amakusa Village. Speak with Hoteimaru and take a ship to
Nagasakichou.

<Nagasakichou>

Go to the first/southern area. Head to the Hotel at NE. Head to the 2nd floor
then to the right area/room. Exit out the hotel then come back. You can check
around the town for scenes, or buy things. To move on, go right from the Hotel
to get to the port.

After, go to the northern part of Nagasakichou. A scene with Hoteimaru. After,
go to the right. Take the ship to Fukiagehama.

<Fukiagehama>

Head toward the northern tree roots for a fight. After, Namida will be moved
to Kyuusendou.

<Kyuusendou>

Keep it in mind that it's just Namida himself. Continue on and you will meet up
with Toubee. In the end, you would meet up with your party. Continue to the
north. You can exit out at east and west. Exit out at West. At the World Map,
north of Fukiagehama, there is the Fukiage Village.

<Fukiage Village>

Few shops around but be sure to check out the Weapon Shop. Back on the World
Map, to the most north from here, there is another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Moon Dew". Now back to the Kyuusendou. Head out at the east
part. Back on the World Map, go south to get to yet another Hermitage of the
Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Heavenly Water". Back on the World Map, go north to get to
Hayato Village.

<Hayato Village>

Head into the house at north of the inn. Go up and speak with the master. Now
exit out. Back on the World Map, head to NE to get to Ryuumondaki.

<Ryuumondaki>

Nothing tricky here, pretty straight forward. There is another Box of Veritable
Pandemonium, so watch out for that. Head inside the house and speak with that
Toubee. Now exit out here. Back on the World Map, there is a Hachiman Shrine
at south. You can head through the portal here. Do go through it. You will be
at another Hachiman Shrine. Exit out and go north all the way to another
Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Guard Clothes". Now use the portal at Hachiman Shrine to
go back. Exit out and go south all the way to get to Hana no Mitsurin.

<Hana no Mitsurin>

Go take the SE or SW most path. Get on the flowers and make your way across.
Be sure to avoid the bees if you don't want to fight. Continue on. Next, more
flowers and bees. Be sure to make your way to south now. Once you make it to
SE, you can exit out. Back on the World Map, go left to get to Kagoshimachou.

<Kagoshimachou>

Speak with the chief at upper right house. You will get a letter. Then exit out
the town at north. Back on the World Map, there is a Cat Temple at north.

<Cat Temple>

Go inside for a scene with Miya showing her true form. Anyway, exit out. To the
east of Kagoshimachou, there is Satsumadaidansou.

<Satsumadaidansou>

Within, speak with the near man and give the letter to him. Now take the new
path down. Continue all the way, and eventually, you will meet up with some
villagers. After, use a Return Stone, then head back to Kagoshimachou.

<Kagoshimachou>

You will end up fighting ????(Taojiriosu). Put up Illusional Mist and Divine
Solid. Reduce his HPs to near death then the battle would end. After, go right
to speak with the chief.

<Ryuumondaki>

Go to speak with Toubee and he will join the party. He is the final member you
will ever get. Your party is now full/complete.

Now, go back to Satsumadaidansou.

<Satsumadaidansou>

With Toubee in the party, he can cut through the waterfall at the end. Move on
to the left after.

<Underground Castle>

You will end up in Underground Castle. Continue on.

Avoid the roots and go NW. Next area, go SW first. Lure the roots to destroy
rocks. Then go back up and go SE. Continue on. Lure more roots to destroy rocks
so you can move on to the right. You will get to another save point.

Save your game and move on. You will fight 7 Prismatic Red Spider Lily and
Edgy Glenge. Both are weak against Fire based magic, so use that wisely. Take
out that 7 Prismatic Red Spider Lily first but beware of its attack called
7 Prismatic Pollen.

After, go back to save your game then continue down at NE. You will fight that
Taojiriosu again. Same as before, so make use of Illusional Mist and Divine
Solid to support. The other thing is, Taori is supporting Taojiriosu at the
back and often cast bad status or related support magic. If you heal in time,
you should be fine.

After you beat Taojiriosu, you fight him again. That's the hard part of these
battles. You have to endure through these two battles consecutively. Taojiriosu
only gets a little bit stronger and more HPs, however, Taori isn't around this
time. Same strategy as above.

Afterward, speak with Ichiyo then speak with Ichiyo again after.

Back on the World Map, go right to another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Heavenly Wind". Anyway, back on the World Map. Just south
of Hana no Mitsurin, there is Chiran Village.

<Chiran Village>

Lots of places are blocked, nothing really interesting here. However, you can
meet with Idaten here. Back on the World Map, there is yet another Hermitage of
the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Heavenly Thunder". Go around to the SW of Chiran Village,
then you can get to another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Heavenly Fire". Go south from here to get to another
Hachiman Shrine. Do go through the portal here to get to another area. Exit out
and you can find another Hermitage of the Tengu at SE.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Pure Heart". Now go back to the Hachiman Shrine, through
the portal to go back. After, back on the World Map. At further SE from Chiran
Village, you can get to Shionariiwa. You can't go through there though. That
leaves down the southern location on the World Map.

<Great Cliff>

Go left then continue to go up.

<Sky Castle>

You will end up outside the castle. Go up to the inside. Start up with a mini
boss fight. Use Wind or Holy based attacks/magics to take out the red "Licking
Lips Logic". Then repeat on the next red one.

After, beware of the flowers' gas and make your way up at the right. Continue
your way up and go north. You will get to a save point. Go south to get out.

Continue up. Take your time with these leaves. Usually when you step on one,
all will fall off in a minute. After, fight the enemies then take the rope to
move on. You will get to another save point. Continue to the right. Fall down
on purpose by the 2 leaves. Then take the near rope up.

Continue up and you will end up fighting Piston Gnosis. This is a bit tricky.
Piston Gnosis will always has a shield that blocks 3 attacks. You can only
attack it after hitting 3 times consecutively. That means, each character's
Attack # has to be high. Then just attack Piston Gnosis with 3 physical, then
attack on, use skill or Ougi. Ougi Chain works as well.

After, move on to the right. Fall down on purpose by the middle leaves. Go up
with the right rope then to the left to fight enemies. After, go up. Toubee
will join back the party and time to fight Taori.

You won't be able to damage her in the beginning. However, do continue to
attack til you clear out all the moths. You can sort of adapt the way you used
against Piston Gnosis previously. Build up your Fight Spirit Gauge and make
your Attack # high, attack til you clear down to couple moths. End the turn
and have somone else to clear out those moths, then attack Taori after, and
initiate Ougi Chains. After that, heal and defend. She WILL use Sweet Banquet
to attack you and revive the moths.

After you beat her, yup, fight her again consecutively. Now that she decided to
transform, she gains more HPs and a bit tougher. The way you attack her is the
same as above, however. Her Crazy Banquet is as good as her previous Sweet
Banquet. If you have good defense against some bad status, you are going to
have lots of troubles. Just be sure to heal frequently and switch to other
members when you need to. A way you can do this is divide your parties up for
these two fights.

Afterward, move around a bit(south?) for a scene with Madara.

<Sata Village>

You will be moved to this village automatically.

Now, for some optional areas, back track to Fukiagehama. Open up the World Map,
go all the way to Chiran Village. You can explore it if you wish. Then to that
Shionariiwa. You can go through it to the other side. There is a Hachiman
Shrine with a portal that leads to Hiraodai. At there, there are items around
and caves for you to explore. There is also a Box of Veritable Pandemonium in
there, as well as a new magic. Anyway, back track back through the portal. To
the most south of Shionariiwa, there is Ibusuki Village.

<Ibusuki Village>

There are shops around and also a ship to Sata Village. Don't go back to Sata
Village yet, exit back to the World Map. Head to the most west from here, to
another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Light Formation". Now go back to Sata Village.

<Sata Village>

Exit out at upper right. Back on the World Map, go straight up to Mountain
Kushima.

<Mountain Kushima>

Make your way to north to the next area. Continue on and make your way to NW to
meet with Madara. After, exit out at north. Back on the World Map, go NE a bit
to another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Old Pine". Continue to NE to a bridge.

<No-Return Bridge>

At the middle of the bridge, you will be taken to the Akuukan. See the parts on
the floor? Pick a head part and put it together with a body part. Here are the
correct combinations:

Blue Kokeshi Body + Yellow Kokeshi Head
Red Kokeshi Body + Red Kokeshi Head
Yellow Kokeshi Body + Blue Kokeshi Head
Blue Kokeshi Body + Yellow Kokeshi Head

After, you will be back to the bridge. Exit out to the right. Back on the World
Map, go right to Miyazakichou.

<Miyazakichou>

Ushibouzu, Oni Ichiban, Tsugumi and Tametomo will leave the party. Find them
and speak with them. They will all join back but with 1 Vitality and 1 Tech.
So, after you got them all back, rest at the Inn. Save your game and exit out
this town.

You will end up fighting Madara. Nothing works on him. Just defend for three
turns.

Back on the World Map, go south to Nichinan Village.

<Nichinan Village>

Nothing interesting. There aren't even any person at shops. Back on the World
Map, go NE to Aoshima Shrine.

<Aoshima Shrine>

Go into the Shrine at north. And ask the Priest there. After, exit out to the
World Map. Head to the NW of Nichinan Village, to Kirishima Grotto.

<Kirishima Grotto>

Go down at NW or SW. Next, advance at NE. There is another Box of Veritable
Pandemonium at NW. At the last floor, obtain the Shihouchiku Seedling. Now go
back to Aoshima Shrine.

<Aoshima Shrine>

Speak with the Preist in the shrine again. Now go back to Sata Village.

<Sata Village>

Go south and to the left to meet the Boatman. You will get the Silver Gourd.
Now back to Kirishima Grotto.

<Kirishima Grotto>

Back to the last floor where you got the Shihouchiku Seedling previously. Check
the water and you will get Spiritual Fountain, with the help of the Silver
Gourd. Now back to Sata Village.

<Sata Village>

Go to speak with the Boatman. He will take you to Joumon Village.

<Joumon Village>

Go all the way to north. Use the Spiritual Fountain at the tree. You will enter
a fight. After, you will get the Shihouchiku. Now go back to Aoshima Shrine.

<Aoshima Shrine>

Speak with the Priest in the shrine. Go to the eastern beach and before that
ship, use the Shihouchiku. After, take the Dragon Palace Ship.

<Coral Beach>

Save your game. Go north. You will end up fighting Senbee and Boubee. Focus on
one enemy. Once you take one out, that ends the battle.

After, go up. Get to north to exit out. On the World Map, head to the west to
get to Hermitage of the Dogling.

<Hermitage of the Dogling>

Just go up and get the Shiomitsu Pearl within the house. Exit out to the World
Map. Use the Shiomitsu Pearl. After, take the ship.

There is another Hermitage of the Dogling at south and a Dragon Tail Cave south
of that. To the west, there is also Hermitage of the Dogling and Dragon Eye
Cave. To move on, head to the south Hermitage of the Dogling.

<Hermitage of the Dogling>

Go up and get the Shiohiru Pearl. Back to the World Map. Ride on the Ship first
then use the Shiohiru Pearl. Once the water is depleted, get off the ship and
walk to the Dragon Palace at the center of the World Map.

<Dragon Palace>

Just go up at north to meet with Aginami. After, attempt to leave and you will
get the "Key Of Dragon Eye Cave" in the end. Now head to the Dragon Eye Cave.

<Dragon Eye Cave>

Go up and use the key. First area, go to the right. More scene. Then you will
be controlling Child Namida, continue to the right. Eventually, more scene.
After, continue to the right. After, continue on to the north. After, continue
on for even more scene. After, towward the Dragon King Sword. Yup, this is the
same sword on the box art of the game's package.

Afterward, exit out Aoshima Shrine. You should equip the Dragon King Sword BTW.
Back on the World Map, head north to another bridge.

<No-Lead Bridge>

At the center, you will be taken to the Akuukan again. This is quite a task
here. You have to control the 6 splits back to Namida before all candles go
out. After, exit out at north. Go north to another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Heart Absorb". Back out to the World Map, and go NW. You
will get to another bridge.

<No-Wish Bridge>

At the center, as usual, to the Akuukan. Go Left, Right, Up, Right, Left. Then
continue to the west to exit out.

Back on the World Map. Near north, there is Aya Village.

<Aya Village>

Nothing interesting. Back on the World Map, there is another bridge at the left
called Hell Bridge.

<Hell Bridge>

Head to the center to the Akuukan. Avoid the souls and head to north. You will
fight the Hundredfold Skull General. Use Pure Heart and Light Formation mainly
then heal when you need to. After, continue to north to exit out. Back on the
World Map, continue to the left.

<Kirishima Peak>

Go up 3 times for a scene. After, continue up. Just pick up each hat and put
it back on the Ksitigarbha that is the same colour as the hat. After, continue
up and besure to save your game at the save point to the right. Continue to the
north to fight Madara.

First fight, just attack it with Dragon King Sword and that will end the battle
for you. Continue on and save your game.

Second fight, time to get serious. Before to cast all sorts of support magic
to help out, especially ones to increase defense. Besides that, heal a lot here
since Madara can inflict lots of damage usually. There is an odd attck that he
uses, called Reversal Conflagration. It flips the screen. It means Strong Magic
are now weak and Weak Magic are now Strong. After the fight, go north.

Afterward, the mist is gone and things are back to normal. You can check out
each town to speak with people and buy things.

North of No-Return Bridge, there is Madara Castle.

<Madara Castle>

Go up for a fight. After, continue up to save your game. Next, go in and
continue on. Make your way to the NE. Check out each flame here to fight the
Phantom Of Shanne, Nigi, Taojiriosu, Taori and Idaten. You have beaten all of
them before, so you shouldn't have much problem. Just besure to save before
each of them.

After beating Idaten, he will transform and of course, fight him again. Make
good use of Divine Speed and Dull Speed, as well as Pure Heart, Old Pine and
Moon Dew. His weakness is still Holy based magic.

After all the flames are out, you can enter the spider mouth. You will be in
the Face Maze. Just make your way toward NW, it isn't all that confusing. Next,
save your game and go up.

First fight with Madara is like previous fight. Just besure to use Pure Heart
when he casts Invincible Spell and you know how to deal with his Reversal
Conflagration.

Second fight, much more HPs and a bit harder. Healing is a big part here, so be
sure to use Moon Dew and Heavenly Grass a lot. One of his attacks is called the
Mandala Barrier. It has two versions, Wisdom and Power. Former one doubles
Magic but makes physical invalid. The other is the opposite of that. Next, his
most deadly attack, Magical Realm Mandala Spider Thread. It will reduce all
party members' Vitality to 1. Make sure you have everyone to heal. The minor
attack is the Yin Yang Reversal Skill, which you just have to switch back your
desired party after.

Afterward, you will be back on the World Map. NE of Sata Village, there is yet
another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Return Soul". North of Kirishima Peak, there is yet another
Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Furious Hair". Back to the World Map, SW from here, you can
get to Kirishima Shrine.

<Kirishima Shrine>

Speak with the priest to get a Sakurajima Stone. Now go to Aoshima Shrine.

<Aoshima Shrine>

Speak with the priest to get another Sakurajima Stone. Now, go to Nichinan
Village.

<Nichinan Village>

Speak with the priest to get yet another Sakurajima Stone. Now go south from
Kirishima Shrine to get to Sakurajima.

<Sakurajima>

Continue to north and check the slate. You will obtain the Himuka Pearl.

<1000-Ri Beach>

You will be arrived here after scenes. After, go up for more scene. Zekuu will
summon out some Clay Robo that are weak against Water based magic. However, do
not bother and just avoid them. There are items around, pick them up if you
wish. After, head to the north. Fight the Clay Robo there. Then exit out.

Back on the World Map, go west to another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

No magic this time, but this one will sell you strong Weapons and Armors.
Anyway, back to the World Map. NE of the Hermitage of the Tengu, there is the
Oozakura Village.

<Oozakura Village>

Just continue to go right and a scene with Ichiyo. Back track, then exit out
to the World Map. Now, go east all the way, slightly toward north to get to the
Sensuikyou.

<Sensuikyou>

Go up and save your game. Continue on and you will get to another save point.
Well, do save your game and move on to fight "Absolute Bodhisattva" with the
side enemies: Evil Red Dragon and Dawn Bird.

Take out the Evil Red Dragon and Dawn Bird first. Absolute Bodhisattva is good
with Fire, Water, Ice, Wind and Thunder, as well as absorbing Holy based.
Besure to use Old Pine and Pure Heart frequently. As for attacking, just use
physical and Ougi. Of course, those attacks shouldn't have any element,
especially Holy. Also remember your weapons shouldn't have those elements
either. When Absolute Bodhisattva is alone, he will likely to summon out more
enemy. Then you should just take out that newly summoned enemy.

After, continue to north to the next area. Then continue on the path to exit
out. Back on the World Map, go north to another Hermitage of the Tengu.

<Hermitage of the Tengu>

This one gives you "Heavenly Dew". Back to the World Map, go west to the Broad
View Peak.

<Broad View Peak>

Continue on and save your game. Continue on, another save point and go up to
fight Myouou Of Conflagration.

Besure to use Divine Solid and Dull Power. Just mainly attack with physical
and Ougi. This one is similar to the one above: Good against Water, Ice, Wind
and Thunder, also absorbs Fire. So, avoid those elements, including you weapons
you equip. More HPs than the previous boss, and this one can actually attack 6
times. You should be healing a lot. But you just got Heavenly Dew, so make good
use of that magic.

After, from the save point in this area, you can now go SW. Continue on to SW
to exit out. Back on the World Map, go west to get to Mountain Komedzuka.

<Mountain Komedzuka>

Continue on and you will meet with Zekuu again. After, continue on to SW to
exit out. Back on the World Map, go south to Sugaru Waterfall.

<Sugaru Waterfall>

Continue on at SW. Save your game and move on. You will fight Kannon Of Must
Kill. She is good with Fire, Water, Ice, Wind and Thunder, as well as absorbing
Holy based. Heal a lot and use Pure Heart, Old Pine as well. As for her attack
known as "Pain Of Separation From Loved Ones", use Return Soul after.

After, continue to south to the next area. Then go right to exit out. Back on
the World Map, go NE to get to Ruins Of The Fire Capital.

<Ruins Of The Fire Capital>

Go up and save your game. Continue up and you will get to another save point.
Well, save again and continue up. Eventually, you will get to yet another save
point. To the lower left of that save point, there is another Box of Veritable
Pandemonium. Save your game and go up to fight Zekuu.

This is a hard fight, no doubt about it. Zekuu has tons of HPs, but also able
to attack 6 times. Not only you need to heal a lot, keep your Vitality high
and such, you will need to cast lots of support magic on yourself. The worst
thing that Zekuu can use is Sky Demon Ruination which just do TONS of damage.
He is good against Physical, Fire, Water, Ice, Wind and Thunder. That means,
only Holy works normally.

After, you will end up fighting Ichiyo/Himiko. She seems to just use Heavenly
Fire and that deadly Fire Kagura Dance that attacks 15 times. She is strong
against Wind and Thunder, absorbs Fire, then finally, blocks Ice and Holy. You
will be using Water and Physical. As long as you heal frequently and keep your
vitality high, you should be fine. Remember, you can use items to heal as well.
You don't have to attack her BTW, all you need to do is endure long enough and
she will end it with Fire Kagura Dance.

<Dragon Palace>

Go down. Save your game then go down from left or right. Take the platform down
to meet with Aginami. Exit out to the World Map. Now, use a Wind Charm and go
back to Takachiho Village.

<Takachiho Village>

Just go north from the exit and you will be before the rock. Enter and obtain
the Dragon Jade within. There are also two item boxes here, one of them is a
magic. Now, exit back out then back to the World Map. Your next destinations
are 6 Fire Shrines. They are at these continents:

- Kunisaki, northern part on the map
- Saga, eastern part on the map
- Nagasaki, southern part on the map
- Shiramei, northern part on the map
- Satsuma, southern part on the map
- Kirishima, middle part on the map

At each of these shrines, you get a scene and besure to grab the Dragon Jades.
Afterward, go back to speak with Aginami at the Dragon Palace.

<Dragon Palace>

You will get the Divine Mirror. Once you are ready, speak with Aginami.

<Golden Shrine>

You will end up fighting 2 Golden Shrine Guardians. Both are weak against Water
so keep that in mind. Take out the right one first.

After, jump down from the hole. Next, continue on at SW. Then you will be in
the Golden Eye Chamber. Avoid the eyes to move on. After that, a room with a
save point, as well as a puzzle. There are 8 objects, positioned like this:

-1--2---3--4-
-------------
-------------
-------------
-5--6---7--8-

Now, change them to this:

-2----4----7-
-------------
------3----6-
-------------
-5----1----8-

After, press the 3 switches. Then continue on at south. You will fight two more
Golden Shrine Guardians.

After, go around and enter from north. You will be in the Sun&Moon Layer. The
Moon shuts off the Red Eyes but reveal Blue Eyes, then the Sun will reveal Red
Eyes but shut off Blue Eyes. Continue on and make your way down at SE.

Next, save your game first. This one is a bit tricky. But, with a little
patience and check the pattern, you should be ok to make it to south. At south,
besure to save your then take the teleporter. After, go up and time for the
final battles.

Starting up with Himiko with 120,000 HPs. A pretty hard fight overall. She is
strong against Water, Ice, Wind and Thunder, absorbs Fire but weak against the
element of Holy. All her attacks can do lots of damage. Not only she has that
much HPs, she can also heal with Darkness Breath. Her Impure Soul attack can
also make your characters at Near Death state. Now, to tackle this. Have one to
heal, one to use support magic then the other one can attack. If your HPs are
low, have the attacker to heal as well. Since her weakness is Holy, so equip
any weapon you have with that element attached. Ushibouzu's first Ougi works
well here, so besure to Ougi Chain that. This will take a long time since she
can heal, but, eventually, you would beat her.

Next and the final fight of the game, "Power Of Fire". Comparing to the last
fight, this one is less trickier. It has more HPs, and got strong attacks, as
well as side enemies. But, that's about it. Just repeat the previous strategy
and attack it with all you got. Its "Fire Pillar Of Conviction" attack is
something you should watch out for, but just use Blue Pine or Old Pine after.
It also absorbs Fire and strong against other elements.

After, sit back and enjoy the ending.
