I decided to make write this FAQ because I really love that game and that I
like to play it with a FAQ by my side, to make sure I don't miss a thing.  But
I realized that there was no FAQ on chams.  So I decided to write it myself.

     Section 3: What to know about chams/abirik chams/choms
==================================================================

A Cham is a very small fragment of a moonstone.  Fina's pet, Cupil, will eat
them to grow stronger.  The more cham you give to Cupil, the stronger he will
be.

When you will approach a cham, Cupil will get excited.  Your controller will
be rumbling and you will hear Cupil voice.  Only wander until an arrow appears
under Cupil.  Then press A to find the cham.

But to find a cham, you will have to get Fina in your party, which means that
you will have to escape the Grand Fortress first.  To feed Cupil, go in your
menu and check your inventory, then click on Cham.

There is a grand total of 30 chams and 3 abirik chams.  Abirik chams are
another type of cham which help Cupil grow stronger.

On the other hand, Chom are moonstone fragment that will make Cupil vomit
all the Chams and Abirik Chams he ate until the beginning of the game.

   SECTION 3 : Cham locations
====================================

Cham 1: Pirate Isle

When Fina joins your party at the beginning of the game, go to the underground
of Pirate Isle.  Don't take the pole down, take the only path available.  The
cham is at the beginning of the path.

Cham 2: Shrine Island

After Fina joined your party, go back to Shrine Island and go to the bottom of
the Shrine.  The cham is at the complete end of the way.

Cham 3: Sailor's Island

Go to the top of the lighthouse of Sailor's Island.

Cham 4: Maramba

Go upstairs in the inn (first bulding to your write after entering the city).
Once upstairs, take the door to go outside and find the cham.

Cham 5: Temple of Pyrynn

On the left path in the middle of the second boulder chase.

Cham 6: Horteka

Near the entrance of the Centime ship area.

Cham 7: King's Hideout

Well, once you are inn, Cupil will be beeping.

Cham 8: Moonstone Mountain

When you first arrive to an intersection with one way going up and the other
down, take the down path.

Cham 9: Moonstone Mountain

In the big trap room with three triangles, take the right triangle
and come back to the middle one from the other side.

Cham 10: Rixis

Near the left statue at Rixis entrance.

Cham 11: Rixis

When you arrive to the left ruin house, take the stairs up and you will find
a cham.  It is the bulding where you face Zivilyn Bane for the Golden Mask.

Cham 12: Gordo

Gordo drops the cham after you beat him.

Cham 13: Gordo's Bistro

Once Gordo opened the bistro in the North Ocean, go visit it and you will find
the cham.

Cham 14: Nasrad

When Fina and Aika are working at the cafe of Nasrad after they lost Vyse,
they barman will pay the two girls and will give them a cham.

Cham 15: Daccat's Island

At the very beginning of Daccat's Island, near the trees.

Cham 16: Daccat's Island

Near the chests containing Electrum Box and Vidal Seed.  This is
on your way so you can't really miss it.

Cham 17: Nasrad

After the destruction of the city, go near the fountain.

Cham 18: Delphinus

On the deck of the Delphinus.

Cham 19: Crescent Isle

Near the flag on Crescent Isle, where Vyse was trying to make a campfire when
he was shipwrecked.

Cham 20: Crescent Isle

In the port of Crescent Isle, go under the stairs that leads to the village,
right behind the room with big cannon in it.

Cham 21: Esperanza

In the basement of Esperanza, in front of the entrance to the city.

Cham 22: Yafutoma

Near the waterfalls of Yafutoma.

Cham 23: Mount Kazai

At some point, after going down the rope, you will arrive to an intersection.
One side has a chest containing a moonberry, the second hides a cham.

Cham 24: Tenkou Island

On the way to the temple, on the fourth floor.

Cham 25: Glacia

At the entrance of Glacia.

Cham 26: Glacia

Close to the save point before facing Veltarn.

Near the machines.

Cham 28: Hamachou island

The cham is located on this small island.

Cham 29: Soltis

From the entrance of Soltis, go left and then right.  Then go straight and
keep going straight until you reach the next room.  Go straight here again
and then take a left and then go left again and then go straight. Go
straight again and then go right twice for a Cham.

Cham 30: Soltis

The cham is at the beginning of the technological part of Soltis.

   SECTION 4 : Abirik Cham locations
=========================================

Abirik Cham 1:

To get this Abirik Cham, you first need to find 10 sky  sardis. Then, fly to
the ship near Horteka and trade your fishes against the abirik cham.

Abirik Cham 2:

Go to Nasrad in the item shop, speak with the merchant you escorted at the
beginning of the game.

--------------------------------

Abirik Cham 3:

Go in the Tavern of Esperanza after going to Yafutoma and speak with the
tavern keeper.  Then, fly to Maramba and speaks with her mom in the kabal
skewer shop.  Fly back to Esperanza and speak to the tavern keeper, and
she will give you a kabal skewer.  Bring it to her mom in Maramba, then
come back to Esperanza.  The tavern keeper will ask you to bring her Gentum,
Kabal and Khale.

To find the Khale, go to the Spice Island discovery.  For the Gentum, speaks
with the Item Shop owner to buy it.  As for the Kabal, speak with Gordo
in Gordo's Bistro.

After the three items were found, go speak with the tavern keeper.  She will
make a new kabal skewer.  Bring it to her mom, then come back to the tavern
to receive the abirik cham.

1. Is there any chams that can be found only once throughout the game?

Answer: No.  All chams can be found at any moment of the game, you can't
miss it and lose it forever.

I am Arestos.  I live in Quebec City, Canada.  I am 18 year old and I first
played this game on the Dreamcast.

My first language is French, so that's why you may find some errors in my
FAQ.
