June 25, 2004 version 1.00: finished my FAQ, and started my walkthrough. Got
through The Swamp, and almost halfway through the Spooky Forest.

July 28, 2004 version 1.10: Fixed some minor errors, and did some more on my
walkthrough. I am three fourths finished with The Spooky Forest, and soon
will move on to Far, Far, Away Land. We are 12 percent done with the game.

July 29, 2004 version 1.20: Finished The Spooky Forest, and next update will
have either all or most of Far, Far, Away Land. We are one sixth, or 15
percent done with the game.

August 8, 2004 version 1.50: Added in my magic bean location section. In the
guide however, I do not comprehend the bean section. When you do get all
twelve magic beans in a section, you should get a snapshot. Because I do not
cover the beans in my guide, this could prevent you from having a non 100
percent complete file. If you want to have a 100 percent complete file, after
every level, go down to section twelve and see where the bean locations are for

QUESTION: Is It true that you can't save in a level, and let's say that you
want to stop during the near end of the level, and you shut off your game, and
you want to play again you have to start from the beginning?

ANSWER: Yes that is true. One of the only things that sucks about this game.

QUESTION: How do I do the first Hero Time? It seems like she just keeps singing
and nothing happens. Please help me.

ANSWER: You first of all have to read my section. Then, if you still can't do
it...
You have to hit the specific button when the drop falling down goes inside the
button. When it does, press that button. Here is a little diagram:

When the top B falls into the lower B, press the B button, this will knock down
or knock out one of the crows. Do this with different buttons as well.

skills in battle? I mean, I am looking for someone that I can use when I fight

ANSWER: In this game, in the levels that he is in, I would say without a doubt
Big Bad Wolf. Also, the little guys get it done in the levels that they are in
(Puss in Boots and Gingerbread Man)

Y button- Stand next to a liftable object, and tap the Y button to activate
ogre lifting. Shrek can also pick up enemies.
Drop an Object- While ogre lifting; press the Y button to drop the lifted
object in front of Shrek.
Throwing an Object- While ogre lifting, hold down the X button to bring up
the targeting reticle, and use the left thumb stick to move it to the desired
location. Release the button to have Shrek throw the object at the targeted

Camera Controls
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A camera icon appears on the lower right corner of the screen to let you know
the camera is free to control. There are four camera states:
Locked- No user control
Total Control- You can zoom, and rotate the camera
Zoom Only- You can only zoom the camera in and out
Rotation- you can rotate the camera.
Manipulate the camera by using the Right Thumb Stick in the following ways:
Zoom- Move the Thumb Stick up to zoom in or down to zoom out
Rotation- Move right or left on the Thumb Stick to make the camera rotate.
(Camera rotation can be inverted in the options screen.)

4. The story of how Shrek was started
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
In the beautiful all-too-perfect fairy tale land of Far Far Away, the king,
and queen have received word that their long-lost daughter Princess Fiona has
finally found her happily ever after. Delighted that their daughter has been
freed from her ogreish curse, King Harold, and Queen Lillian decide to throw
a grand royal ball for Princess Fiona, and her new Prince Charming.\
Messengers are sent far and wide to find the royal couple and invite them
home for the ball. Little do they realize, of course, that Princess Fiona's new
husband is none other than the ugly ogre Shrek, and that Princess Fiona has
found "Loves true form" as an ogress. She, and Shrek are living blissfully in
their own ugly ever after.
Once they receive word, Shrek things going home is a "really bad idea" and is
not to happy about having to face Fiona's parents, and castle guards who
locked his wife in a dragon's tower. But Princess Fiona (along with donkey)
convinces Shrek it will be a good time, and together they depart for the far-
out
land of Far away. And so, our twisted fairy tale adventure begins.

When you first start up Shrek 2, you will have 3 choices on the main menu
(title screen)
New Game- Select to start a game from the beginning.
Load Game- Select to choose a game saved on your Xbox hard drive.
Options- Select to modify some of the characteristics of game play.

6. Character Information

As you progress through the game, you will need to use certain characters'
special abilities to continue through the levels. Press the Y button to use
the special abilities. Some characters' special abilities have limited use and
can only recharged by picking up a certain item. Most objects that require a
special ability for activation have the special button icon floating over
them. This icon only appears when the correct character is selected and
standing close to the object.

Shrek:

Shrek is a big, green, ugly, smelly ogre. He enjoyed life alone in his swamp
until he found the love of his life: Princess Fiona
Fighting Style: Various punches, and wrestling moves.
Special- Ogre Lifting. He can lift, carry, place, and throw heavy items. (And
creatures) (Unlimited special ability)
Game Tip- If an enemy is dizzy, use Shrek's ogre lifting to pick the enemy
up, and then throw the creature at nearby enemies.

Puss In Boots:

He has steely eyes, swashbuckling finesse and really expensive Corinthian
footwear.
Fighting Style- Sword Fighting
Special-Tightrope walking. A move that can be used to cross ropes, and
chains to gain access to areas others cannot get to. (Unlimited Special
Ability.)
Game Tip- Start Combat with Puss In Boots Jump Attack.

Princess Fiona:

Princess Fiona is not your typical damsel in distress. She is smart, tough,
and has been known to drop kick a band of outlaws.
Fighting Style: Various karate moves.
Special: Slow Time. Princess Fiona's ability slows down party members, but it
slows down everyone and everything else a lot more. This is a limited special
ability. To gain more uses, pick up an hourglass.
Game Tip- Use Princess Fiona's slow time to escape harm when close to death.

Donkey:

Donkey's got a mouth that just won't quit as well as the heart of a noble
steed.
Fighting Style: Donkey Power
Special: Donkey's special is the burro blast kick that can knock down
creatures and break specific objects. Most objects that can be affected by
Donkey's special will have a horseshoe symbol on them.
Game Tip: Use Donkey's burro blast on stunned enemies to get rid of them
quickly.

Gingerbread Man:

Ninja hero, and friend
Fighting Style: Ninja Candy Cane
Special: Cookie toss. Used to attract enemies. This is a limited special
ability. To gain more uses, pick up a cookie.
Game Tip: Throw a cookie to lure enemies into traps.

Lil' Red:

Championship softball pitcher with a "Can Do" Attitude.
Fighting Style: Kicks, punches, and apple toss.
Special: Rotten Apple Bomb- When detonated causes an area of affect attack
that damages nearby enemies for 20 points. Lil' Red can either let her rotten
apple's timer run out on its own, or by pressing the Y button again, she can
detonate it immediately. This is a limited special ability. To gain more uses
pick up a rotten apple.
Game Tip: Lil' Red can toss apples from long range, or attack with kicks and
punches when in close combat.

Big Bad Wolf:

Do not let the outfit fool you. He is big, he is bad, and he will blow you
away. Better watch out grandma.
Fighting Style: Claw swipes, and bites.
Special: Huff 'N Puff. This move can be used on enemies, objects, and fire.
It blasts enemies away from wolf, and damages them.
Game Tip: Use his Huff 'N Puff special to push enemies of ledges.

Fairy:

One tough lady, who proves size, does not matter.
Fighting Style: Fairy Magic
Special: Fairy Dust- It can be sprinkled on friends and enemies alike. When
used on friends, fairy dust gives them the ability to fly for a certain
amount of time. (Remember, the heavier a person is, the shorter the flight will
last.)If used on an enemy, fairy dust floats them up in the air, but leaves
them prone to attacks until it wares of. (Unlimited Special ability.)
Game Tip: Float enemies and then have a teammate hit them in the air.

7. Enemies
=-=-=-=-=-=
In this section, I will list all of the enemies which you will encounter during
the game.
Snails - Snails come originally with a shell. If you hit them, they loose their
shell. Now, when you hit them again, they will be dead. Sometimes, in certain
levels, you can collect their eyeballs.

Turtles - Hit them with any characters once, which will turn them on their
backs. If you hit them a few more times while they're on their backs, they will
be killed.

Piranhas/Fish - These fish come up sometimes and try and get you. If they do
get you, they will bring you down with them, and kill you.

Pumpkins - In my opinion, pumpkins are the easiest enemies to kill. They are
just pumpkins with no special powers. (Most of them that is.) Some of them
shoot out little fireballs, which do cause a little bit of damage.

Rats - These guys are very easy to kill, but sometimes they can become little
buggers. When you try and kill them you can sometimes hurt your own party.

Bats - The bats won't cause any damage to your health. They can, however stop
you from passing. Sometimes, you have to use slow time to get by them.

Humans - There are many different kinds of these. Some are fat, and some are
skinny. Some have weapons, and some don't. Some are easier to kill than others.

Fairy godmother - A fat, old lady, with a powerful ear for magic. She, in my
opinion is very...I'm not sure. She can be very nice, and very mean.

Spiders - "Little ones only take one hit to kill, but if there is an egg sac
they will consistently appear until you smash the egg sac. Like the pumpkins,
the giant spider has a health bar, but does not take many hits to kill."

Trolls - "Big, ugly blue-purple creatures. They throw bombs at you, so when
they start ticking quickly hit them back at the troll. If it hits him, he will
try to run and hit you with his club."

Frogs - Big, globular masses, in the shape of a frog. Only take a few hits to
kill them.

Stone Warriors - These guys are created by the fairy godmother. They are one of
the hardest enemies to kill. Watch out for their weapons...which are axes.

The Storybook
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The storybook is the hub or shell of the game. In it, you can access new
levels called chapters, view the scrapbook change game options, enter the bonus
section and view images from the Shrek 2 movie.
Chapter Select- Enter this sub-menu to access the different chapters
(levels)in the game and obtain valuable. All chapters begin with a magic mirror
introduction.
Scrapbook- Visit the scrapbook to view all the snapshots collected so far.
Save Game- Enter this sub-menu to save your current progress.
Bonus- when enough snapshots are earned, this sub-menu will open up. By
earning more, and more snapshots, more bonus games will be available. When all
the snapshots are collected, you can access the Movie Stills sub-menu and see
images from the Shrek 2 movie.
Quit Game- This allows you to quit the game.

Snapshots
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Every time you complete a specific goal, a picture, or "Snapshot" is taken to
help remember that moment in your game. There are a total of 70 snapshots
throughout the game. If you collect enough snapshots, you can open up to 5
bonus levels. Collecting all of the snapshots helps you get 100 percent
completion for bonus material concerning the new Shrek 2 movie!
Snapshots can be viewed by visiting the scrapbook in the storybook, or during
game play by accessing the Pause Menu.
When you have fulfilled the requirements of a snapshot, the screen flashes
white while the picture is taken and your snapshot icon will change to show
your current snapshot count.
Game Tip: Most levels have 7 snapshots to collect. The requirements to earn a
snapshot vary, such as defeating specific monsters, collecting objects like
magic beans, or reaching a specific point like the gingerbread man's house in
chapter 2.

8. Party Up-grades, and collectables, power-ups, and objects

Party Up-grades

Crazy Larry's Leprechaun Sop is open for business.
In his humble shop, you can find party up-grades for sale. These up-grades
affect your party's attack power, health, or health regeneration abilities.
All these lovely items will cost you some gold coins.
It's rumored that Crazy Larry's Leprechaun Shop is only available in certain
levels or hidden in secret places.
Game Tip: You should buy at least two up-grades for your party before you
venture into later levels. To earn extra coins, either play the bonus games,
or replay levels as often as you like.

Collectables, power-ups, and objects

Along your adventure, you will encounter the following items:
Gold Coins- Use Gold Coins to buy party up-grades or to pay tolls.
Magic Beans- Collecting twelve of these will earn you a snapshot.
Half Health- This replenishes your party's health by exactly 50 percent.
Defense Power-up: This temporarily makes your team invulnerable to all enemy

The Buddy System

During Game Play, there will always be four characters on-screen except
during hero time. You control one of the four characters in single player
games. The computer controls the other three characters. You can switch at any
time to control a different character and use their abilities. (Except during
Hero Time) As you play, if another character joins the party, a character will
leave the group to keep the total to four.

Hero Time

Hero Time is a special mission where only one of the four characters plays a
section of the level. Since some characters are better suited for better
tasks, hero Time allows each character to show off their talents and assist the
party through the level.

Multiplayer Mode

Shrek 2 can have up to four players. Each character is marked by a colored
selection circle that surrounds the character. Player one's color is yellow,
player two's color is red, player three's color is blue, and player four's
color is green. When more than one, but fewer than four players are playing,
you can switch between your character and the character(s) that's being
controlled by the computer. The game automatically detects installed
controllers; so additional players can join a game in progress by inserting a
controller, and pressing the Start Button. Or leave a game by removing a
controller. If another player joins your game, the new player controls the
selected character. If a player leaves a game, the computer takes over the
vacated character. Players can leave a game by pausing; selecting options,
then selecting choose players.

Character Portraits- Character portraits are at the bottom of the screen.

upper right corner when collected or when you are pressing the Back Button.
Camera Icon- In the lower right corner the Camera icon shows you the Camera
Status.
Boss Meter- During Boss Battles, their health meter appears in the upper left
corner of the screen.

other levels, go to the storybook and enter the scrapbook sub-menu.
Save Game: Save your progress.

Exit Level: Exit the current level, and return to the Storybook.

Snapshot Information: On the right page you will find information on the
levels snapshots.

three and six. Once enough mini games are completed in those levels, auto
save will open the next level automatically.

This is the meat and gravy of the guide... my walkthrough section. In case you
are wondering, this is my first time playing the game. Please excuse if I make
an era in my walkthrough because of my fist time playing. During some
situations, I may have a four-character combination that is completely absurd,
and you might have a different one, but I just wanted you to know that this is
from me playing when I describe what to do that is how I did it. But I
guarantee if you follow my way you will be on your way to victory.

The Opening

When the storybook first comes, select new game, on the next page, select
save, on the next page select continue. Then select the o.k. Button. You will
eventually be hit with three data's to save on: Game A Game B game C. Pick
one, and begin your game.

The Swamp

Newlywed fever was sweeping through the swamp, when Princess Fiona's parents
decided to invite them to Far, Far away. While they were packing, Shrek
remembered he still needs some essentials before they left. Look, and move
around collecting all of the items in the air. After collecting 18 eyeballs
by killing snails, and slugs, (earning you a snapshot) go to where the gate
with the grapevines on it. To the left of you, have Shrek go up to the pole,
and press the B button. The Pole will move back, as the gate opens for you and
your three companions.
As you walk through the gate, you will see a man in a cage. Free him if you
want but he will ask you to save his other brothers. You will also see many
gold coins, and snails. Kill all the snails and or slugs earning gold coins,
and also snag all of the gold coins. They will be useful later on. There is a
platform near the ramp in the gate yard. Use Shrek's ogre lifting powers (Y
button) and lift the platform. Walk up the ramp, and you will be ambushed by
these weird woodsmen (from the first movie.) The lead woodsman will call the
rest of his merry men, and fight you.
These guys are very tough for our first fight, and they seem to just keep on
coming. These guys may take you more than once. It is, after all your first
battle. Keep using Donkey's burro blast is how I got them on my second try.
After beating all of the merry men, you have reached a checkpoint. You know
what that means, another snapshot has been obtained.
After you receive your snapshot, another gate with grapevines will open. Go
through the gate, and down the ramp, and hitting the target with Gingerbread
Man. (But first set free another man in a cage) Doing this will open another
gate with grapevines. As you walk in you will be greeted by an elf. He says
that he will let you through if you get some fairies for him. By a few he
means a dozen. To get the fairies, you will need to pick up that hourglass on
the left side of the screen. Use Princess Fiona, and her special ability for
this task. Press the Y button after you have the hourglass, and control of
Fiona. This is her special slow time. It slows down all of your enemies. Jump
with her to loose fairies, pressing the A button. After collecting twelve
fairies talk to the elf. A good job will appear on your screen, you know what
that means; you have just won a new snapshot.
After you talk to the "Wee Elf" Yet another gate with grapevines on it will
open. In this little cove, there are two turtles, and apple, and a target on
the water. You can either stun the turtles, or have Shrek ogre lift, and hit
the turtles against the target, or have gingerbread man hit the target with
his candy cane either way will work.
After the target is hit, another gate with grapevines will open, and there
you will find a cookie to use for Gingerbread man's special ability. The mirror
explains that this is Gingerbread man's special ability. A demonstration
occurs, and all animals are attracted to Gingerbread Man's cookie. The magic
mirror explains how to use the special, and then you move on.
In this next cove, kill all the enemies collecting coins, and free another
man. You will see a teeter totter on the top of your screen. The Magic Mirror
explains that you can have Shrek belly flop a character much higher and far
in distance. Have Shrek bounce a character, to the other side, and then the
gate with grapevines opens into another cove.
Here, there is another Teeter-Totter. Bounce gingerbread man to get all of
the coins above the Teeter Totter. Finally, have donkey, and Shrek come to the
edge. Shrek will yell because there are chickens all over his precious swamp.
In this task, you must first stun the chickens using Shrek's A, B Button. The
Shrek must pick up the chicken aim the target by holding the X button, and
throw the chicken into lil' red's soup. (Jeez could she be any more obsessed
with her grandma?) After doing this to eight chickens, you will earn a
checkpoint, and a snapshot.
Now is your chance to explore, go around Shrek's swamp, hitting platforms,
and opening gates collecting coins and just basically having a good time with
your Shrek 2 Video Game.
Now, go to a gate near the jump springs, where there is a picture of an
alligator, and a picture of a strange person in a costume. Use gingerbread
man to hit the target in the lake to open the gate. In here the mirror explains
that you should use Fiona's slow time at the right moment to get across the
bridge safely (Basically when the gators are off.) Do this, and get to the
other side.
When you get to the other side, you will receive a checkpoint, but not a
snapshot. Continue on the only way possible, until you come to a gate, and
the magic mirror he tells you, that only an animal kick could break the
gate, you know what that means, donkey to the rescue. Use his burro blast, and
open the gate.
In this miniature cove, all you will see is a hill with coins, and a hill
With a lever. Also you will see a potion and a Shrek platform. Move the
platform to the south of your screen upon a hill where a lever is.
In this cove, you will find grandma's house when you walk in little red
riding hood talks to her grandma about the chickens and how they got them.
Then, she introduces her grandma to her four new friends. Now, grandma tells
little red to round up some blackbirds. In comes magic mirror, and says Shrek
is hungry, and wants pie but who will be willing to "Bring home the blackbird?
Fiona, it is your Hero Time!"
Collect a lot of blackbirds, and Fiona's hero time...is over. After she
returns to grandma's house, it is time to say good by to a character.
Gingerbread Man says that it has been fun, but I got to go. Little Red Riding
Hood asks if there is room on the carriage, for she has a championship softball
game to go to. (Another funny element in the game of Shrek 2.)

The Spooky Forest

A checkpoint occurs, and the storybook opens. Save your game again for good
measure, and then go to chapter select. Select the spooky forest, and the
book tells a story of how an evil witch came on Shrek, and Fiona's carriage and
turned the horses into three blind mice. Witches do after all need mice to do
witchcraft. The storybook tells of how she left a trail of cheese leading to
her haunted house. Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and Little Red Riding Hood get out
in the middle of the forest, while Fiona complains that they have to find a
potion to change them back into horses. (Hint: in this level all that you have
to do is follow the pieces of cheese to the witch's house, beating the level.)
On the left side of the screen, there is a pole; on top of the pole is a
bell. Use little red to get the bell, and hit it. Hence opening the gate to the
forest. Go down the path, and two to three hunters will attack them. Take
care of them easily, and talk to the tree. He refuses to move out of the way.
Shrek tells to use burro blast. Have Donkey do this, and cross the tree.
(Now a bridge) You will come into another area. Have Red throw an apple at
the bell to the left of the screen opening the gate north of the screen to
another area.
Keep walking strait, and the Magic Mirror will talk to you saying to take
Care f the mousetraps before someone gets hurt, or worse...dies. Have little
Red throw an apple at both, and then continue on strait. On your way strait you
will come across more forest hunters. Kill them easily with either Shrek, or
Donkey. After killing the hunters, one of the blind mice will crawl through a
hole in the gate. After this occurs, the gate swings open allowing you to
pass.
In this next area go strait across the bridge with Donkey, go to the tree to
the tree north of you, and use your burro blast creating a bridge that
everyone an cross.
In the next area, use Shrek to press the B button on the lever. After this is
done, the ramp will swing down creating a path. Cross it, and you will be
ambushed yet again by hunters. Kill them all, and you will gain a snapshot.
Continue on, and you will come to a pole with a bell on top of it. Use red to
knock the bell, opening the gate. Go through the gate, and pull the lever
opening yet another gate. Go through this one, but hurry up and have red
press the X button, to destroy the trap. Continue on, and you will come across
the tree standing in your way. Use Donkey's burro blast to knock it down
creating a bridge to cross on. In the next little area, use Donkey's burro
blast yet again and knock down the tree creating a bridge. Cross it, and you
will end up on a little raised area of land. As you sep onto the raised area of
land, a checkpoint is documented.
From this little area, you are going to want to take a right following the
cheese. Here, you will here Fiona say "It' is Fiona time. There is an
hourglass there, so get it, and use it to kill all of the bats around the
hourglass. Continue on after, and you will come to a house, you will hear a
conversation going on that says, "You do not have to go back to your castle but
you cannot stay here." Kill this man quickly, and a good job will appear. After
you kill him, a horde of woodsmen will attack you kill all of them, but watch
out. They are tough.
After defeating everything that comes to you, take a left to where you came
in. Here will be a hole, big enough for one of the blind mice to climb through,
ringing the three bells, and opening the gate, after this happens, a
snapshot, and a checkpoint will be obtained.
Before going over that bridge, go down to the right side of it, and use
Fiona's slow time to kill all of the bats down under the bridge. If you do not
get them all, do not worry about it. A few bats will not kill. After you kill
all or most of the bats go forward. Here are some bouncy springs that you can
hop on to get coins, and an hourglass. Go up the next bridge. The sword swinger
is here, and he is tough. Try to kill him with donkey, but watch out don't get
hit by the sword! (Hint: Use Fiona's slow time to try and hit the swordsmen
before he swings.)
After you beat the swordsmen, got down the rest of the bridge. A wee man will
ask you to pay 100 pieces of gold to pass. You must pay him, or he will not
let you pass. To your right, is your first upgrade shop. He has plus three hit
points, and two other items. I bought the three hit point upgrade. Go on, and
have red riding hood destroy the traps before anyone else kills himself or
herself. Go on, and kill all of the rats. The do as the magic mirror says,
and use donkey to Burro Blast The grave to make a bridge, now continue on, but
watch out more mousetraps ahead. Have red dispose of them. Continue on, using
Donkeys Burro Blast to close the tomb's disposing of the holes, and creating
A bridge. Continue on just a little bit further, and you will get a snapshot,
and a checkpoint.
Go on more further, and the mound guarding your way will break/fall, go down
the hill, and you will be faced with more woodsmen with those little pointy
things. Use mainly Shrek to kill all of them. After killing them, collect all
of the gold coins, and bounce on the springy platform. Get the gold coins,
and move to the left to the platform open up the chest, and many things will
explode from it.
Go on, but watch out! The three blind mice want to go up the bridge, but
There are mousetraps on it. So have Little Red Riding Hood, and the gang go
alongside the bridge bringing down all mousetraps with Little Red's throwing
ability. When they continue on, shoot down the log in front of the gang to
continue, and here a checkpoint is documented.
When you move on, you will come to the Gingerbread Man's house. Keep going
on. Here I bet you your saying to yourself "How do I get by!!" etc. Well here
you see where the three blind mice are? Move them out of the way. (Using either
force or no force.) And you will see a horseshoe carved into the gate. Use
Donkey's Burrow Blast on that exact spot, and the gate will open. After this
Is done another snapshot is obtained.

Hero Time

Here, come up the path to finally see your destination, the witch's house.
Here Fiona will get out of the carriage and say Shrek come help me. Shrek says
ok, but then the big dragon comes into view. Donkey, and dragon have had
something going on sense the first movie. Donkey will say oh my fire breathing
beady. Now you must be thinking Yes the Spooky Forest is done! But not yet.
Then all of those rude witches fly down, and say that your wife is ours to
Shrek, they take her away.
But all hope is not lost. Donkey says that he can save Fiona, and you know
What that means her comes some Hero Time!
But before you start, let me warn you it is very challenging. About 4 times
harder than Fiona's. In this hero time you must ride on dragon, using the
Left Thumb Stick up button to go up, and Left Thumb Stick down to go down. This
Hero time is about a 2 and a half-minute ride, where you must avoid different
objects such as wood stacks tunnels, and trees. If you get hit by any one of
these you lose. Good Luck.
Remember:
Don't get frustrated. It took me 5 times to beat it. Hero time is supposed to
be fun, not horrible challenge in the game. Do not put the game away just
because you cannot beat it. If you need help just email me.
After you beat this very hard Hero Time, you have beaten the Spooky Forest,
And may I be the first to say congratulations.
Next up Far, Far, away land.

Far, Far, Away Land

In the beginning of the chapter, the storyteller explains that a nervous
Shrek waited, to meet Fiona's hopefully lovely parents. The King, and Queen of
Far, Far, Away Land. Later, however, King Harold met with the fairy godmother
of The land. He made it clear that he wanted Fiona to marry Prince Charming,
and would make it happen. Shrek holding on to Fiona's love proved that he loved
her very much, and would not let some pompous king tell him no...or yes. Let us
see how this one turns out shall we?
(In this section, I may do things in a different order than you sense all you
do is going around doing challenges for Harold. You start off, with Shrek,
Fiona, Donkey, and Little Red Riding Hood yet again.
When you first start, wonder around, breaking things, and collecting coins
When you get board of this, or just have broken everything look for a man (King
Harold that has green around him. During your talk with him, he will tell you
that the Friar's Fat boy truck has overturned, and we need someone to round
up the chickens. He will give you the option to say or no. Say yes, and here is
your first adventure in Far, Far, away Land.
In this challenge, you must stun the chickens using Shrek. Then you must pick
the chickens up using Shrek's special ability. Ogre Lifting. (Use the Y
button.) Bring them over to where the coupe is at the top of the screen, and
hold the X button to aim where you would like to throw them. (In the coupe.)
Do these twelve times with twelve chickens, and you have already earned
yourself a checkpoint, and a snapshot.
After you have got your checkpoint, and your brand new snapshot, go around
exploring Far, Far, Away Land. When you are done, go around the city, looking
for the green. When you find it, you should be in front of a big
building...the museum. Here is the annoying King Harold again. He claims there
is a troll running about stealing the family jewels. Can you stop him, and
collect all of the family jewels. Well you really have no choice so lets get
ready to rumble.
This challenge is not very easy, but it is not very hard either. You go
around,(trying to avoid the troll) collecting jewels. Wherever the troll was
the time before is where the most jewels are. Go around for maybe 5 minutes,
collecting 196 jewels before the troll hits you, or one of your party members.
After you "win" this challenge, you collect another snapshot, and checkpoint.
Wow, this level is going fast!
The next challenge I did was the hero Time. Well there is so good news for
you...this is the easiest Hero Time yet! All you have to do is use Shrek, too
ground pound stunning his enemies then Ogre lift them, and throw then into
the back of the wagon. Do these eighteen times, and you will have earned
another snapshot, and checkpoint.
The next challenge I did was with the Piper. Go up to the huge courtyard, and
have three characters stand on the 3 coins, opening the gate, then talk to
Harold about the piper, and say yes, that you accept.
This on your list of snapshots is called radical. When you first step in, all
175 rats come out to the courtyard. Use all the characters to kill all of the
little vermin in the first area, the gate will open to a second kill all the
little vermin in that one, (possibly using Fiona's slow time), then one final
gate will open showing the piper kill him in one easy hit. Then yet another
checkpoint and snapshot will be earned. Now we only have three more
challenges, and we are out of here. We are flying through this level!
The next challenge after radical is a challenge involving Cinderella. King
Harold says that Cinderella needs to go shopping, and that it's up to the
gang to keep her safe. Accept the challenge, from king Harold, and get ready
because here we go again.
In this challenge, we have to protect Cinderella from the evil peasants. She
will go from shop to shop looking at new pairs of glass slippers, and you
have to keep her health to where she can stay alive. After she has gone to
about ten shops, the challenge is over. If you keep her alive, you will obtain
a checkpoint, and another snapshot.
The Final challenge that you MUST beat is the humpty Dumpty's eggshell
challenge; this is located on one of the street corners. In this challenge,
(the hardest one.) you must collect all of Humpty Dumpty's broken eggshells,
while fighting off a mob of peasants.
You do not have to do the 12 magic bean challenge; you can go right up to one
of the many Harold's, and go to the next level. That is what I did. But, if
you want to read the other two FAQS for Shrek 2 they will help you with the
beans.
At the end of Far, Far, Away Land, Harold congratulates Shrek. (Not meaning
it.) And then asks Fiona to show the gang to the castle. She does, and walks
away with the gang. Then the game shows Harold cursing as he runs into the
fairy godmother. She says "Then just for get it", and go to the poison apple,
and hire an Ogre killer. You know where this is going...
Well now you have finished Far, Far, Away Land congratulations to all.

Ogre Killer

In the beginning of this short chapter, the storyteller explains that our
hero went back to the castle for a good nights sleep. But was troubled when he
found Fiona's childhood diary. He was sad when he found out that Fiona had
dreamt about marrying a handsome prince with nice abs, beautiful hair. (Okay
you get the picture.) After Shrek read through the whole diary, he was s0o sad
that he decided to take a walk in the woods, while his friends attempted to
cheer him up.
While Gingerbread Man, Shrek, Donkey, and Little Red Riding Hood were
walking, around the woods trying to cheer up Shrek, a cat jumped down from a
tree claming that he was puss in boots, and that you should fear him. (Yes!
Finally my favorite character has arrived.)
When there are boss fights, I have scoring rules to tell you how hard each
specific boss is. The scoring system goes like this:

Your first Boss Fight: Puss in Boots 2: Easy

This is an intermediate boss. Puss in Boots will go to one of your characters
(Shrek, Donkey, Gingerbread Man, and Little Red Riding Hood in that order.) A
circle with a question mark inside of it. In this Boss Fight, all you must do
is basically Fiona's Hero Time all over again. Some different buttons will
appear coming down, and when the specific button is in the question mark
circle, and press the button. This is a long boss fight, but not unbeatable.
I got it in my second time. There are three different rounds, in the fight
each with a snapshot at the end. Three rounds equals three snapshots. After
this fight, the (simple) level Ogre Killer is finished. (This level went by a
little to fast for me. *Laughs out Loud. *

Walking the Path

In this level you start out with: Puss in Boots, Donkey, Shrek, and
Gingerbread Man.
At the beginning of this level, the fairy tail book will explain that in more
attempts to cheer Shrek up, the company made their way to the fairy
godmother's house. She, and the house were known for their charm, and its
ability to get in without an appointment. When the company gets there,
however, the guard at the front gate will say halt! The only appointment
today is a package from Jack, and Jill's farm. The group huddles together, too
think of something. Donkey exclaims that he has a plan. He says that the group
could intercept the package getting them inside. Everyone looks a little
doubtful at this plan until Puss in Boots says "Or we could just go to the
farm and get the package." Everyone in the company agrees with this except for
one person. Donkey looks infuriated at Puss in Boots. (See the jealousy
starting to poke in?)
As the level starts, just continue walking up the path, killing the two
snails along the way. After this keep walking on, and you will come to a pole
that you see in the first, and second levels. Pull it pressing the A Button,
and continue across the newly formed bridge.
Continue on the path, and soon your already faced with your first challenge
of the level. (When you continue along your merry way, you will come to a
stop, you will see a FLYING creature cast a spell on regular pumpkins
basically telling them to cause mischief. Well, those pumpkins aren't going to
cause any more mischief... not if we can help it!

Your second boss fight: pumpkins: 1 Very Easy

All that you have to do in this simple boss fight is fight the pumpkins.
After killing all the little pumpkins in front of you. (There are about ten
of them), then make your way to the "Big Mama pumpkin." This oversized
Halloween decoration looks tough but is pumpkin pie at the heart. About five
punches from Shrek should do away with the pumpkins, earning you a
checkpoint, and another snapshot.

Back to Chapter 5

Continue on to the north of your screen, into the next area. Do not give up
if you do not know what to do. This was tricky for me to. Go over to the
Magic Mirror. He will not tell you what to do but he will give you a very
good hint, and that is "Now who here is good at lifting things?" Immediately
you should think of Shrek. So go over to the gear you see a green glow
around, and Ogre Lift it (With Shrek) Walk over to where the gears, and the
huge piles of logs are. Press the B button over here when it appears, and put
the gear in the bigger gears things. (I don't know what to call them.) The
big gears will turn, unlocking it. The big piles of wood will be shattered
allowing for you to continue on.
Go onto the next area, and go to your right. (East Side.) Have Puss in Boots
use his special ability to tightrope across the rope. In here get him to pull
the pole from levels one and two, creating a bridge. Now use Donkey to Burrow
Blast the gate. Look out for the spinning barrel. You can dodge it, or you
can fight it to make it go back to a regular barrel. Have Shrek Ogre lift the
small gear, into the area in the beginning of the paragraph. Have him put
the gear in the bigger gear thing creating a way to the next area.
In here talk to William Mug ruff to the left of your screen. Take him across
the bridge with Puss in Boots, earning you a checkpoint, and another
snapshot. Continue on winding through the paths, and keep going with no
trouble at all when you come to two moving blades, go when they are both not
in the way with Shrek. Go inside that little fenced in area, and destroy the
moving barrel. After you destroy that, have Shrek Ogre Lift the gear. Continue
on right with Shrek still holding the gear. Have puss in boots jump on the
stump, and have him walk across the wire. On the other side there will be a
pole. Pull it, and the blades will stop moving creating another new bridge.
On this side you have to fight three more pumpkins before doing anything else.
After killing these annoying little creatures have Shrek put the smaller gear
into the bigger gear, knocking away the wood leaving an open space for you to
continue on through.
In the next area, you will come face to face with about six more pumpkins. Kill
them all. After killing the six easy pumpkins, you will be faced with a
challenge. You need to have Shrek lunge puss in boots up to the very tall
stump. While up there, have puss in boots jump across to the next stump. On
this new stump, have him use his special ability, and tightrope him across the
bridge, and have him hit the pole on the other side. Doing this will give you
another checkpoint, and will enable you to move on.
When you move on, you will have to break the log in front of you. Break it
down, and keep moving on. Here you will see a bunch of lowlifes talking (or
what ever they do) Have someone jump up to get the green potion, and the
lowlifes will turn into frogs (temporarily.) Kill as many frogs as you can, but
soon they will turn back into lowlifes. They don't have any weapons with them,
so it shouldn't be a problem knocking them out.
Next have donkey knock down the door, to get the gear inside. Once you get the
gear, walk out and go to your left. Put the smallish gear in the bigger gear,
giving you a checkpoint, and enabling you to move on once again.
Once you do this, you will be on a bridge. On the bridge are tons of pumpkins.
Kill all of the pumpkins, and move on. On the other side of the bridge, there
is something that looks like a treasure chest. Go up to it, and smash it. There
should be a few coins inside. Pick them up and move on.
Moving on you will be on another bridge with tons of pumpkins. Kill all of them
crossing the bridge. On the other side, there are more snails and more
pumpkins. Kill all of them, and then go to the left. Going left will give you
a checkpoint.
Go straight from here to the pole thing, and press b, enabling you to move on
once again. When you move on you will meet 4 pumpkins. Kill them and keep
going. The next thing you will come to is a log break it down, opening the next
area filled with snails. Kill all of them before continuing.
Next, have Puss In Boots go between the two moving slicers. On the other side
press b on the pole thing, stopping the slicers, enabling the rest of the party
to move on. On the other side, there are some lowlifes. Kill all of them before
you move on.
Next, you have two options in front of you. You can either go to the bridge to
the left, or the one to the right. I went left and here we go!
On the left, go up the side, collecting all of the coins up there. Next come
down and kill the pumpkins. Now have donkey hit the wood opening the path to
the right. Cross over to the right bridge, fighting the pumpkins as you go.
When you get to the right, every obstacle will be cleared, allowing you to go
up.
Here have Puss In Boots jump onto the stump, crossing back to the left side. On
the left side have someone hit the pole enabling you to have safe passage on
the right side.
As soon as the wood is cleared, a bunch of lowlifes will attack you. Have Puss
In Boots come back over, while the rest of your party kills the lowlifes
automatically.
In the next area, you can pull the pole allowing safe passage on both sides. In
the next area, kill all of the snails you see (collecting eyeballs) before
moving on.
In the next area, there's a guy saying that the hinges are rusty on the door,
allowing you not to get through. He says that if you pay him 200 coins, he will
use his magic on the door. Just give him the money, and he'll open the door
allowing you to move on, and giving you a checkpoint.
In the next area, there will be three blades. You know the drill; have Puss In
Boots cross over, hitting the pole allowing the rest of your party to cross.
In the next area, there is a barrel, break it down, and open the treasure
chest, which contains a potion that heals your party. Next have someone pull
the pole opening the next area, and giving you a checkpoint.
In the next area, break down the log, and have puss in boots go to the other
side and pull the pole enabling the rest of your party to move on and fight the
lowlifes on the other side.
Here, go to the left having donkey push the crane enabling safe passage on the
right side. Just like the bridge.
Moving on, go across on the SECOND rope. Here there is a pole you can pull,
which knocks away the wood, and blade on the right side allowing for the whole
party to move on.
In the next area, you have to pull the pole knocking away the wood, and the
blade on the left side. Have Puss walk over to the left side, and kill all of
the pumpkins.
Have PIB (puss in boots) move on toward the upper part of your screen, and
ignore the smallish gear. Here, pole the pole down, getting rid of the slicers
on the other side (where the rest of your party is.) Have PIB cross over
the
bridge there and help the party fight the lowlifes just in front of you. After
they are all taken care of, have Shrek go to where PIB just was. Have him Ogre
Lit the smallish gear, and bring it back to the rest of the party. Have him
insert the smaller gear into the much bigger one, knocking away the wood,
giving you a checkpoint, and allowing you to move on.
Here, there is that damn goat again. Help him across the bridge. (He needs your
help because he doesn't want to be eaten by the troll. He ate his tin cans...)
Just say yes, and move on with him, protecting him as you go. You will see
spikes almost as soon as you get on the bridge. Have PIB tightrope across the
hole in the bridge, and press B to push the pole. This will get rid of the
spikes allowing you and the rest of your party to cross over the bridge.
Here, on the bridge you will find a mosh pit. Just have one of the characters
attack everything in sight and you might make it across. When you get off of
the first bridge, just keep going with him. He likes to get ahead of you, so
when he does just follow.
On the second bridge, just have PIB cross over the tightrope thing. On the
other side, pull down the pole, knocking down the spikes allowing you and your
party to cross over. Then, just have PIB come back over by the other rope, and
kill the snails and pumpkins. Just have Donkey knock the tree with his hooves,
and congrats you have just gotten your second snapshot of the level.
Close to now, you should be getting your seventh snapshot, which is for the
eyeballs.
Now that we're here, go back over the second bridge. In the area you probably
could not get to before, have Shrek Ogre Lift the gear. Have everybody go back
to where Donkey kicked the crane. Here, go right towards the opening. Have
Shrek insert the small gear into the big one, knocking away the wood, and
allowing you to move on.
In this new area, a cut scene will appear. It shows the troll about to kill
another Billy goat gruff. It then shows Donkey pulling down the pole, stopping
the blades from killing the Billy goat. The troll will get pissed, and attack
you. Just kill the troll.

Your third boss fight: Troll: 3 Normal

All right this guys is harder than your last two bosses combined. What you do
is use Shrek the whole time. The troll will send a bomb towardsa your party.
Once the bomb starts to light up, and start beeping, hit it back to him so it
blows up really close to him. Doing this will lower it's health and give you a
potion which will raise your health. Just do this three times and the troll
will be gone giving you your fourth snapshot.

Now, have PIB walk across the bridge, and as mirror delightfully puts in it's
puss in boots hero time!

Hero Time

All right! My favorite part of the game...hero time! For this hero time, you
Have to do lots of things. When it opens up, jump down onto a platform in the
water. On here, kill all of the enemies, and jump to the platform just right of
you. Watch out for the fish coming up out of the water, cause if it hits you,
it will bring you down with it, and you will die.
On this platform, kill the pumpkin, and walk across the tightrope (using PIB's
special ability.) Watch out for the fish coming up on the rope. On here, get a
good jump off of the Springer, and jump to the northwest direction. On here,
there is another Springer. Here, do the same thing and you will be on a new
ledge.
On here, walk across the rope using your special ability. Slide down the rope
like it's a skiing hill onto a new ledge. Here, jump onto the Springer, and go
in a northeast direction. This new ledge also has a Springer.
On here, jump onto the Springer, and again jump towards the northeast
direction. Here, take the vine down, like it is a skiing hill. On this new
ledge, there is a Springer.
Take the Springer to a northwest direction once again. Do this one more time,
and you will be on a fresh new ledge.
Here, take the little hill, down in a southwest direction onto a new ledge.
Just walk across, and congrats you have completed PIB hero time!
After you do this, you can now move onto the 6th level!

Jack and Jill's Farm
===============================================================================
You will start this level out with the same characters as last time...Puss In
Boots, Donkey, Shrek, and Gingerbread Man.
Here, go east, and knock down the wall of carrots, using one of the members of
your party. Here, have GM (gingerbread man) throw a cookie through the cracks
in the fence. The cow just to the left of the gate will flip out, and knock
down the fence, allowing you to continue on.
Here, go down along the path, hitting all of he watermelons. Down here, there
is no where for you to go, and the game ends...just kidding. Have GM throw his
candy cane across the pond, and hit the target. When he does it, the bridge
almost directly ahead of you will drop down enabling you to cross it safely.
In here, kick the cow to get its attention. Have Donkey keep kicking it until
the cow goes to the area that you were just in. Here, have GB throw one of his
delicious cookies through the cracks in the fence, and the cow will go insane
knocking down the wall allowing you to continue on.
Here, kill the three lowlifes waiting for you in the next area. Next, knock
down all the carrots, and you will see a Shrek Ogre Lift box. Now go other to
the other side, and you will see sort of a lifeguard tower. Place the box right
in front of the tower, and get GM to climb onto the box, and then onto the top
of the tower. Have him hit the target with the candy cane in his hand to knock
away the slicers, allowing you and the rest of your party to move on.
Here, get another refill of cookies for GM. Next, throw one of the cookies off
to the side of all of the bats, and they will all go after it. While you have
the chance, continue on.
Here, you will meet the three...little pigs. They will say that Jack and Jill
are on vacation, and they are taking care of some chores. Shrek quickly replies
only if it was to take that package to fairy godmother's house. They say that
we've got a deal, and to go around the farm to help them with chores. From
here, go down the isle to the right. Here, Have PIB jump up on the smaller
lifeguard tower, and then onto the bigger one. Have him tightrope across the
rope or vine there, and before you hit the spikes jump over it, and before you
land hit the Y button again. When you reach the other side, have him pole down
the pole, knocking away the slicers just ahead of you.
When this happens, a lot of pumpkins will come after you. Kill them easily, and
move into the next closed in area.
In here, have Shrek Ogre Lift the ogre box in there. Have him and the rest of
the party leave that area out into the one that you were just in. Out here,
place the box down before the big lifeguard tower. Have PIB jump onto it, and
then onto the big lifeguard tower. From here, jump across to the left and pole
the pole down knocking away the slicer, and allowing passage into the next
area.
In the next area, kill all of the lowlifes, and also all of the pumpkins in
here. In the top left corner, is a refill of cookies for GM. Have Donkey burro
blast the fence allowing you to move on into the next area.
In here, go and talk to the pig. He will say that he accidentally cut down
Jack's bean stock, and he is trying to build another, but the rats keep eating
it. Help him out.
What you have to do is just make like a surrounding around the tree, that way
no or little rats can get through you. Just keep fighting off the rats, and
soon you will get your first checkpoint of the level.
Now from here, go down the other isle. Down here will be the "Needle in the
Haystack challenge." The pig will say that he lost Kill's favorite needle! He
is trying to find it in the haystack, but realizes it is very hard. Will you
help him? Say that you will.
All that you have to do is have one character knock over the haystacks. (You
should control that character.) All the rest will fight the rats while you look
for the needle. When you do, you will have your second snapshot for this level.
Next, go down the isle where it says Jack's bean stock, but not the one that
says Jack's Bean stock ahead. Here, the pig will ask you to help them get a
pail of water. Help them out, and you will be sent into...GM Hero Time!

Hero Time

All right, it's time for my favorite part of the game...Hero Time! This Hero
Time is for one of my favorite characters...Gingerbread Man!
This Hero Time is said to be extremely easy, but I think that it is very
underrated. Ok, let's get down to business.
Fist, you wait until a tomato starts to roll down the hill. When it does, go
left. As soon as it gets down the hill, run up the ally. Go into the
waiting...place to the left. As soon as the next tomato is just below you, run
up, and go into the waiting place to the right. When the next tomato starts to
roll down, you must go up into a new area.
Here, go to the right area, and jump onto the white daisy. From this daisy,
jump to the left onto a bigger daisy consisting of a bunch of coins. From here,
jump out into the gap of daisies. The tomatoes won't get you, so keep jumping
to the left. !!BE CAREFUL NOT TO FALL INTO THE PIT, BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE TO
START ALL OVER AGAIN.!! When you have jumped enough, jump to the daisy that is
close to the platform you were just on. On this daisy, there are a bunch of
coins.
Ok. From this daisy, jump onto the daisy in front of you. From here, you have
to jump to the one just to the left of the tomato hill. When two tomatoes go
past you, and go into the pit, jump onto tomato ally. Here, as fast as you can
run into the waiting place. In here, there are lots of coins. Get them all, and
then when the next two tomatoes pass, run in a northwest direction to the next
waiting place.
As soon as the next two tomatoes pass, run up the hill into a new area. In
here, a bunch of pumpkins will attack you. Kill all of them with relative ease.
Here, you have to move up a bit, and then jump into the gap onto the yellow
daisy to the right. From here, jump back onto the tall white daisy, and get the
crap load of coins. From here, jump back onto the yellow daisy that you were
just on. From here, you have to wait until the third tomato is about to drop,
and make a leap of faith onto the tomato hill.
On here, run as fast as you can into the waiting area to the right. Instead of
just entering like the previous two, you have to jump over the small wood piece
to get in. From here, wait until the next three tomatoes go past you, and run
straight up. Take a left into the next waiting place before the three tomatoes
fall down the hill. When the next three do, run up the hill into a new area.
Here, watch out for all the tomatoes passing. Use caution crossing. (It is like
a road with heavy traffic.) From here, run up the next hill, but this one has
no tomatoes. Run up onto a new platform, and fetch the pail of water, and
(congrats) you have just beaten hero time, and you get another checkpoint!

Back to Chapter 6

From here, go back to the Jack and the Bean Stock challenge. Here, knock down
the carrots and you will see the cow. Keep hitting it until it goes to the
slicer. Close by, there is a pole. Have one of your party (it doesn't matter
who) pull it knocking down the slicers.
Down here, keep kicking the cow, and have GM throw a cookie to distract the
bees. Have the party go to the little pig. He says to help him catch the eggs
that the chickens are throwing so that they can bring the eggs to the market.
Ok, your party and you are set up inn 4 different rows. One row for each
different character. There isn't much that you can do for this challenge,
except for only caring about your individual effort. If you are way to worried
about the computer, and their egg catching, it could be the difference from
winning and getting your snapshot, and losing and have to do the above all over
again.
After the time runs out, it will give you rankings of eggs caught, and the
scrambled eggs. If you caught over 50 eggs, then you will get a good job, and
your 4th snapshot of the level.
In order to get out, you will have to have GM throw a cookie, and the bees will
go after it like stink on cheese. From here, follow the signs to the cornfield.
When you reach the fork, take it to the right, and go up the hill there. Here,
will be your last chore.
Go up to the little pig, and he will say that the chickens are eating the
entire harvest. He will ask you for a hand, and as you know, say yes and begin.
In the first area, have Shrek body slam all of the chickens enough so that they
fly away. When the ten chickens do, the gate will drop down. When the gate does
drop down, kill all of the pumpkins that come flooding in. When you do, take a
left, and kill another six pumpkins. From here, go into the gate being guarded
by carrots. Knock them down, and kill the pumpkins, and the barrel inside.
Here, kick the cow until it gets up, and opens the gate. In here, before you
move on, kick and demolish the barrel. In here, knock down the carrots, and
kill the baby pumpkins and the mama pumpkin.
In the next area, there are a bunch of chickens. Just have Shrek body slam them
all, so that they all fly away. When you do this, you will get your 5th and
final snapshot of the level.
From here, go up to one of the pigs. They will ask if you want to try to do the
chore again. I DON'T THINK SO! Scroll down two sports and click "Go to next
level."
The little pigs will thank you for all of your help, and give you the package
to deliver to the fairy godmothers house. GM will sadly stay behind, but
congrats anyway! You have made it to level seven!

Fairy Godmother's
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the beginning of the level, the storybook explains that Shrek, and the rest
of the party went to Fairy Godmothers house. She told them that ogres do not
have happily ever after, and rejected his wish for the potion. She then flies
away, and lil' red will appear saying that she knows where the potions are, and
you should follow her. The level than begins.
In the room, there is lots of stuff that you can break, and get coins from.
Break everything that you can, and get the coins. After you do, go through the
door into a new area. In here, kill the soldiers that the fairy godmother has
sent after you. From here, break the stuff off to the side, getting coins and
then walk towards the door toward the top of your screen. Up here, more guards
will come after you. (These guys are really hard to kill.)
From here, turn right, and talk to the mirror he will say that crystal balls
are very light and are great tools for deflecting light. So...have Shrek Ogre
Lift the crystal ball, and have him drop it in the basket near the first row of
beams. Once every member has passed the beams, have Shrek lift it up, and then
have him put it down in the basket near the second set of beams. When it
reflects the light, just walk right on through into the next area where you
will get a checkpoint.
In here, kill the knight/guard. Then have donkey burro blast the glass case for
you to get another crystal ball. Walk a little forward and about three more
knights will attack you. Kill them, and then have burro blast the glass case,
to get...another crystal.
Choose one of the crystals, and do the same thing with the deflecting light
trick. Make sure that all of the characters have passed the crystal before you
pick it back up.
On the second one, the crystal can't deflect all of the beams and leaves one
out there. Just walk through it, and the alarm will sound. Don't get too
worried, it isn't that bad. Here, kill the 3 or 4 knights that come running
through the door. Kill them, and have Shrek Ogre Lift the smallish gear. After
this, walk through the door yourself. Here, get the health potion, and put the
smaller gear inside the bigger one.
In here, it's time for my favorite part of the game...

Hero Time
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's right it is time for Lil Red's hero time! She yells out that you should
run, and she will try and hold the Fairy godmother off.
This hero time is very difficult. In the first part, nothing will happen, and
it is just you and the fairy godmother. After about 4 or 5 spell castings, she
will come at you, and the treadmill thing will start to move. After 4 or 5 more
spell castings boxes will start to come down on the treadmill. After another 4
or 5 more, the stuff will move faster.
This is a short, but very difficult hero time. Remember don't get frustrated.

Back to Chapter 7
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as you beat hero time, and you get your snapshot, the mirror will send
you to where Shrek and the rest of the part is. This is a very tricky part...
Have all of the team except for little red stand on the wood platform near the
left of your screen. Have little red step on that token thing. The platform
will raise up.
Now, have donkey go over to the potions to your right, and burro blast them
allowing your party to get through. Have Donkey wait, and Shrek and Puss in
Boots go over and have Shrek get the small gear. Have them both wait on the
platform. Use Donkey to stand on the token raising them up.
Up here, have Shrek walk around the whole top, and then have him insert the
small gear into the large one. (Doing this gets the next platform to work.)
From here, Have PIB go onto the platform. Then, have Shrek step onto the token
raising PIB up.
Have PIB walk around the top floor, and when you get to the top of the screen,
have him tightrope walk across the rope. After you do this, have him keep
walking to the other side.
Here, have him tightrope walk up the rope getting a ton of coins. Here, grab
the bean, and have PIB hit the whole in the wall. Here, a potion will come out,
have PIB walk over, and grab it. This will give you your second snapshot, and a
cut scene will appear.
The cut scene shows the fairy telling them now that they are all there, she can
destroy them. (Because as I said earlier, she wants Prince Charming to marry
Fiona so that he can be king of Far, Far Away land.) PIB will step up saying
that he will fight her off, but Shrek says no, it is to dangerous. The game
abruptly sends you back into the game, and you have to run from the fairy
godmother and her evil spells.
This is challenging. If I were you, I would stick with PIB while running. He
can run the fastest, and jump the highest. The Fairy godmother will cast that
blue spell at one of the walls. When she does this, the room will shake, and
lots of things will fall over. You have to jump over these different things, or
you will be caught behind, and basically out of the race.
If you stick with one character, and he or she in this case gets caught behind,
quickly switch to one of the characters that are still in the race. You
probably won't get this the first time, or even the second for that matter.
When you do get one of the characters to cross the door, the rest of the
characters will catch up in a flash, and shut the door behind them.
In here, PIB "senses" that they are safe in there. Almost as soon as he says
it, the workers for the factory attack them.
Don't even try to kill these guys, because there are an infinite amount of
them. Just run right through them. When you go through about two batches of
them, use Shrek to climb the steps and body slam the immense container of
potion. When he does this, it will tip over, and the potion will come flooding
out, knocking down the door. Doing this will give you a checkpoint, and another
snapshot.
Go through the door that just opened, and in here is the ever-famous Prince
Charming.

Your Fourth boss fight: Prince Charming: 3 Normal
===============================================================================
Hit this character a few times with Shrek and give him a few bruises if you
know what I mean. Sense all pretty boys are wimps; he will jump away when you
hit him. When he does this, he will send four guards to fight instead of
fighting for himself.
This series will repeat around 3-5 times. If some of your characters are dead,
there is a heal potion to the northwest. Once you beat him, he will run off
saying "I'll get you Shrek"

Back to Chapter Seven
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once you beat Prince Charming, walk out the door that he just ran out. Walking
through here, grab the bean and you will get a checkpoint. Walk outside into
the closed in area, and beat four more knights. Have Shrek Ogre Lift the gear,
and then have him put it in the big gear. In here, there are about 6 knights,
and one factory worker. Kill them, and throw a tnt barrel at the next set.
From here, go right and continue fighting off knights, and factory workers.
When you get to the end of the long line of ridges, kill the last batch of
knights, and factory workers, and grab the health potion.
Walk through the door, and it will show a short cut scene that shows Prince
Charming pulling a pole, knocking down an immense cauldron.
While running, you have to jump over, and go around all the obstacles that
appear. This is like the challenge where you had to run away from the Fairy
godmother except this time, it is a caldron.
In my opinion, you should also stick with one character, and if he or she gets
left behind switch. If you need more advice, just look at the section where you
get your second snapshot of the level.
When all or one of your characters gets into the room, past the door, all of
the characters will join you in a flash, just like last time. PIB says that we
should get out of here, and see if the potion really works. The last scene of
the level shows you and the rest of your party walking out the open door...

Prison Break

The storybook in this level goes into detail. He explains that Donkey took the
potion first. (The one that they got from the fairies. Nothing happened, and
then Shrek chugged the rest hoping that it would make him handsome so that him
and Fiona would have a happily ever after. At first nothing happened, and they
went to sleep inside an abandoned barn. When the fairy godmother realized
Shrek's full plan, she knew that Fiona wouldn't know if it is Shrek or not when
she sees him. So she sends Prince Charming to Fiona, and locks Shrek inside of
a jail cell. All of the good characters back home find out about it, and come
to rescue Shrek...
You start out this level with the Big Bad Wolf, Little Red, Gingerbread Man,
and...a fairy.
Here, walk next to the wall getting coins and trying to avoid the big circular
lights. When you see an indent on the wall, go in and step on the little coin
things. These will knock out the lights allowing you to move further. Here, do
the same thing. When a target comes up, have GM knock it down or hit it with
one of his candy canes. (This will stop knights.)
At the end of the path, have one of the characters stand on one token and
another on the other. This will open up the jail bars allowing you to travel
through them.
Through here, on the other side of the prison bars there is a big giant ball.
Before you push it, have someone go around getting all the coins and things of
that nature. Next, have one or all of the characters push the ball onto the
place where you can put it. (It is a lowered piece of indented floor to the top
right of your screen.) Here, a laser will hit the ball, allowing the gate to
open and you to move on. Here, spiders will attack you. Kill them with ease,
and walk back to the ball.
Here, have BBW (Big Bad Wolf) blow the ball up the hill or platform that the
gate just revealed. Up here, have him blow it into the laser spot (top left of
your screen.) This will lift up the jail cells around the pole Have somebody
walk over there and pull it knocking down the gate in front of you, and giving
you safe passage.
However before you go down, have someone hit or blow the ball down the hill
knocking down the gate. Here, drop down the hill that the ball just did and go
through.
Here, try and sneak past the light. If you can't, run GM over, and have him hit
the target with one of his candy canes. (Doing this will stop the knights from
coming.) Here, have someone hit the jail door releasing a prisoner from inside.
Here, after killing all of the guards have BBW blow down the broken wall. Here,
kill the egg sack, which keeps producing spiders. Keep walking down the isle,
and kill the other egg sack. When you do this huge spider thing will attack you
and your party.

Your Fifth boss fight: Mr. Spider: 3 Normal

The reason that I gave Mr. Spider a normal is because with this particular boss
you do not have that much room to maneuver around in. Just use BBW to blow all
of that steam on him which will weaken the beast by about 15-20 percent. Do
this a about five or six times, and you will have beaten Mr. Spider.

After you beat Mr. Spider, walk back to where you were. Here, knock down the
jail cell releasing the second prisoner. Kill all of the guards, and the
spiders. Here is the tricky part. You have to put BBW on the left bouncy
spring. On the right bouncy spring, have Lil red jump on it. This will create
stairs for you and your party to go up, and it will also give you a checkpoint.
Up on top of the stairs, free the third prisoner from his cell. Keep walking
southward towards the bottom of your screen. Look toward the very bottom, and
you will see a ledge that you can go out on. Jump over the small gap in the
middle, and have one team member jump on the coin thing. Another big ball will
be released, and if you time it just right, you will kill the guard walking
around.
After you do this, walk up to where the guard was, and release the fourth
prisoner from his cell.
After you release the prisoner, walk up the stairs to your right. Here, you
have to jump onto the suspended age that looms just ahead of you. Doing this
will knock down the cage, and release the first pork chop brother. Also, doing
this will form a bridge that allows you and your party to move on.
After you do all of this, the pork chop brother will thank you and he will also
ask you to free his brothers. After he finishes talking, you will get a
checkpoint, and will now be able to move on.
Before you do, go back up to the big ball that you released just minutes ago.
Have BBW blow it across the cage bridge killing the guard there. If you decide
not to do this, the guard will instantly call more guards that will easily kill
you.
After you blow the ball through, you'll need BBW to do some more physical
labor. Have him blow the cage open releasing the first of the three blind mice.
After you release the mouse, have lil red keep jumping on the bouncy spring
over and over again, bringing the stairs closer and closer up. When they
finally lock, you can walk up them and into a new area.
Up here, kill the spider nest inside what looks like an old prison cell. After
you do, kill the spiders that it produced right before you destroyed it.
When you beat it, walk to the right of your screen. Here, have one of your team
members stand on the cage. Next, have another one jump on the bouncy spring.
Have them jump once or twice, and GM will be high enough. Have him jump to the
left and pull down the pull creating a bridge, which allows you to and your
team to move on.
Walk up to the northeast part of your screen. Up here, kill the spider nest,
and after you do that kill all of the spiders that it made before you destroyed
it. When you're finished, knock down the cell door releasing the fifth
prisoner.
After this, walk down under the wall avoiding the guards. On the other side,
have BBW knock down the wall, and walk up the isle.
In here, you will be met with...

Back to Chapter 8

After YOU beat Mr. Spider, destroy the spider nest. And, just like last time
and all the times before, kill the spiders that the nest produced before you
destroyed it.
After you do this, head right, under the bridge, and past where the first egg
nest was. Here, jump down onto the cage in the gap towards the left of the
screen. Use GM for this because he is light, and will not sway the cage that
much. From here, jump up onto the ledge, and pull down the pole. Doing this
will move the stairs onto the ledge straight ahead from where the rest of your
party is.
When you do this, jump down and then up again, rejoining your party. Go down
the stairs, and sadly walk into the light. Doing this, guards will come after
you, but just go northwest, and hit the target. Thins will stop the guards.
After this, blow the ball all the way up the huge hill. When you are at the
top, put it in the floor indent. The laser will hit it freeing the pork chop
brother down below. Walk down, and you will get your first snapshot of the
level. FINALLY!
Down here, the PC brother will thank you, and little red cheers the group to go
further, for we don't have time for "coffer breaks."
After you do this, go back to get the ball. Role it down the hill, and it will
smash open a gate. Go down, and walk up the stairs that the gate just reveled.
Up here, is Larry's shop. Buy upgrades if you want, and then continue on.
Here, kill the spiders, and the spider nest. When you are done, pull down the
pole to your left. This will create stairs ahead of you that you can walk down
and move on.
Here, go south, and then west. Here, you will be faced with a troll. Kill it
like you did with the one back in level 6. When it throws bombs at you, wait
till it starts beeping, and when it does, have on of the characters kick or hit
it back to him to lower his health.
After you hit it with the bomb about 3 times, than he will be gone, and you
will get a checkpoint, and your second snapshot of the level.
When you beat him, walk out and go east. Here, release the second blind mouse.
After you do, walk towards the north of your screen and go under the bridge
avoiding the two guards. When you get out, have one player stand on both floor
tokens, and guards will attack. Kill them, and then have GM hit the target
stopping any more from attacking you.
Here, jump onto the little rock to the left of the cage. From the rock, jump
onto the cage. From the cage, jump onto a platform to the northeast of the
cage. From here, do the same until you are on a high ledge. Up here, step on
the coin thing, shutting off the light.
Jump down, and release the fifth prisoner. Go back, and jump up the platforms
that lead you to a northwest direction. Up here, knock down the cell door, and
release the sixth prisoner.
Go back down, and release the third blind mouse giving you a checkpoint. Ok,
it's time to get down to business. Have GM go to the side (on the left) and
jump on the small rock. Then have him jump on one of the cages. Next, send Lil
red or BBW over and have him/her jump on the bouncy spring.
This is HARD! Ok. Have Red Stand on the coin in front of the first cage than
have BBW jump on the spring only one little time. Now, have lil red move on to
the next coin, and have BBW only hit the platform once. Do this twice more, and
then bring all of the party over to the rock. Have GM jump up four times in a
northeast direction onto the ledge. Here, free the seventh and last prisoner.
When you do this, jump onto the platform after the cage. Pull down the pole,
and a small cut scene will appear. It will show stairs coming up, and on them
is...

appear, showing the characters down in their sewer cell. The group wonders
about how they will get Shrek, and the other team out. The mirror will appear
saying as always his warm up for...

Hero Time
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This hero time is called "The Staircase of Doom." Walk up the first ledge of
stairs that you see as soon as you start. This is a really easy hero time if
you ask me. You just walk up stairs, and cages, and just slopes as bombs drop
down. When the bombs do drop down, either knock them out of the way, or dodge
them.
After you walk up the first flight of stairs, hop across the three cages, and
onto a slope. Walk up the slope and then hop over one gap and land on a
platform, and then do it again.
When you land for the second time, start walking up another slope avoiding the
bombs. When you get to the top, hop along another three cages, and then jump
onto a spring. This will send you up to another level.
Here, jump onto a platform coming out of the wall. When that platform starts to
go in, jump forward onto one that is just starting to come out. From here, jump
across the gap and onto the slope. Go up the slope avoiding bombs, and then
jump onto the platform when it is sticking out of the wall. When it goes in,
jump onto another platform that comes sticking out of the wall.
From here, jump onto the cage just in front of you. Wait here until another
ledge comes out from the wall. When it does, jump on that, and then onto
another cage. From the cage jump onto another slope, and head up avoiding
bombs.
Up here, jump on the cage and the to the platform and another cage platform,
and you will be on a new ledge. Here, take the bouncy spring up. When you land,
jump up, grab the key, and you will get your third snapshot of the level. Doing
this will give you access to the next level!

The Mines

The storybook starts out saying tat the only thing standing in the way of well
him and Fiona was a mountain called Mt. Grim. BBW claimed that he knew a
shortcut, that instead of going over the mountain, the party would go through
it. The group decided to try it because they needed to reach Fiona or else
Prince Charming would give her an "unexpected kiss" making her fall in love
with him, and having her be lost forever to Shrek. (Not too much at stake
here.)
You start out this level with Shrek riding Donkey, GB, PIB, and BBW.
When you first arrive, you will be in front of a door. Use Donkey as you would
regularly, and have him knock it down. On the other side, there will be two
huge green frogs ahead of you. Kill them, and then go to the right. Here, kill
the orange frog, and get the health boosting potion. After this, head to the
left, and hit the other orange frog on the ledge with BM's candy canes. When
you
do this, three or four more frogs will attack you. Kill them. When you do kill
all of the enemies, go back to the right, and pull down the pole.
Pulling the pole will create a bridge over some of the water that is in front
of you. When it does form, have you and your team cross it. Before you continue
on, you will have to break down another door with Shrek and Donkey.
On the other side, just kill all of the many spiders, and then collect the lots
of coins that are in there also. When you do this, head in a northwest
direction, and have Donkey and Shrek break down the door.
In here, just run through the middle, and pole the pole. After you do this,
just keep running until you reach another door. Break it down with Shrek and
Donkey.
In here, kill the frogs that you meet as soon as you walk through the door.
When you destroy them, walk around, break some stuff, and get some more coins.
In the next room, kill everything, and smash one of the TNT barrels so that you
can destroy the damn spider next. Once everything has been destroyed, hit the
doors to your right and move some of the stone pillars. This will open the
door, and give you a good job.
In the next area, kill everything and then walk a little forward. A platform
should rise up with a red health potion, and a bouncy spring. Keep jumping on
the bouncy spring, and stairs will come out of the water. Go up them into a new
area.
In here, kill all of the spiders and the other stuff. Have PIB tightrope up the
rope, and then have him pull down the pole. When you do this, a windmill will
pop out of the water to your right. Have BBW go over to it, and blow it with
all of his might. Doing this will make a platform fall down to the top of your
screen allowing you to move on.
Over here, green frogs will attack you. Just ignore them, and run to the pole.
Pull it down, and the door will open revealing the next area.
In here, head left, and go to the left side of the bridge. Avoid the fish and
then get the golden egg, and pull down the pole allowing you to cross over the
water to the rest of your party.
From here, go back to where you were with the guy in the cage. Habe GB stand on
one of the platforms, and then have PIB stand on the other platform on the
other side. Keep jumping until the cage lifts up all the way, and you get a
snapshot.
Here, go back over to where you were. Break down all of the crystals, and then
have PIB tightrope up the rope. When he is on top, have him pull down the pole.
When he does this, the bridge will turn around so that all of your team can
pass into the next area.
In here, put BM on one of the platforms, and PIB on the other platform on the
other side. This will move the stairs closer and closer to you until they lock
allowing you and the rest of your party to continue on.
Here, a cut scene will appear. It shows Fairy Godmother telling the stone
warrior to attack us...

Your Sixth Boss Fight: Stone Warrior: 2: Easy
===============================================================================
This guy is a really easy boss. Just have Donkey jump up, and then have Shrek
throw those little blue bombs at the guy. This will lower his health little,
but do it five times in a row, and it will seem like a whole lot. Again...this
boss is very easy.

In the next area, have the two heaviest characters (Shrek on Donkey, and BB)
stand on the two platforms to the right. Then have PIB go to the one on the
left. Have him jump until the first platform locks. Then, the second one is
really easy, and you only have to jump like twice. When both platforms are
locked, climb up the stairs, look right and walk across the platform. Walk up
the stairs and...

Your Seventh Boss Fight: Mr. Spider: 2: Easy
===============================================================================
The real key here, is not to go after the spider nests, and to go after the
giant spider. Use Shrek and Donkey's blue bombs, and he should fall over the
ledge shortly. When he is finished, kill both of the spider nests.

After you beat this part of the game, stairs should fall down where the nests
were. Go up them.
When you reach the top, many frogs will attack you. Kill them, and then have
anyone in the party bounce on the bouncy spring for awhile. When the cage goes
high enough, you will get another snapshot, and the guy in there will thank
you.
After you do this, head down the stairs, and kill the three green frogs. After
you do, walk forward and get a health potion and a bean. When you get these,
head up the stairs to your right.
Here, you will see another two stone warriors. I will two the same bosses
though.

These guys are simple enough. Just beat the first guy using the same strategy I
said earlier. If you need help on the second guy, there is a health potion at
his left foot.

When you beat them both, walk up the stairs that just appeared. Up there, frogs
will attack you. A lot of them come, but eventually like the guards they do
stop. When they do, the old guy will be released, and you will get another
snapshot. He will say that it is time to save...snow white? Yes it is true she
is being held by...guess who? FAIRY GGODMOTHER! Go up the stairs after the guy
finishes talking. Here we go...

Your Eighth Boss Fight: Golden Warrior: 4 Hard

This guy is the hardest boss yet, and he still isn't good. When you first come
in, kill the egg sacks in the back. After that is taken care of, have all of
your team run around the warrior to get him confuted. When he does get
confused,
now is your time to attack. Attack him around 10 times, and you will have
beaten him. Patience is a virtue for this guy.

Walk into the next room, and it's time for Donkey and Shrek...

Hero Time
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This time, fairy godmother tries to trip the team inside of the mines. She
takes
Snow White's body and says catch me if you can. Well let's go Donkey!
Keep running down the hall until you reach vertical slicers. Go to the right,
and then left, and then right again.
Keep on hulling, and soon you will have to make a right. Jump over the
horizontal slicers, until you reach vertical ones. Keep weaving in between
them.
Keep on moving, and then in the next area go left. Jump over three horizontal
slicers and then weave between about 10 vertical slicers until you come out of
the mosh pit for a few seconds.
Here, head to the right and jump over, and then go under two horizontal
slicers, and then once again wave between more vertical slicers.
This pattern will continue on until she has no health left. When she doesn't,
have any left, you will get your last snapshot of the level, and doing this
will beat the level!

Cookie, Cookie
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The storybook will open telling you that the crew moved on to Far, Far Away
Land. Here, GB whooped up a HUGE cookie, thinking that it would help to defeat
the Fairy Godmother. He was wrong. The cookie starts parading around the city
causing destruction, and fires. Papa Bear from the goldilocks story will tell
you at the very beginning of the level that we must put out the fires.
Walk around, and use BBW to blow on the fires, knocking them out and also
saving the citizens behind the door. As soon as you begin, there are two fires
to the right. Blow them out, and move forward.
Up here are two more fires. When those are out, move up a little more and knock
out the next. Go over to the carriage and blow the fire in there out. It won't
count as a fire going out, but it will save two more people.
After you do this, walk out of the little town square. Walk up the stairs to
your right, and up here there are four more fires that you can put out.
When you are done doing this, walk down the stairs, and then walk down the town
square and knock down two doors, and keep walking down putting out fires. At
the end, you should have about 6 more people saved and six more fires put out.
When you have seventeen fires put out, go to the cannon near the Magic Mirror.
Get in, and aim the cannon upward. Fire a few blue balls putting out the last
two fires.
If you have not freed all the people, retrace your steps, and make sure that
you did not miss any doors.
When you put out 19 fires, and save 26 people, return to papa bear near the
wagon. When you do this, you will get a snapshot, and a good job. When he
finishes talking, the wagon will move out of the way allowing you to move on
out of the square.
After you do all of this, head out of the square, and then head north. Lots of
knights will attack you, so kill them, and move in a northwest direction. Here,
have PIB climb all the way up the rope using his tightrope ability.
Up here, have PIB keep jumping on the bouncy spring. This will move the
platform that all of the characters are on closer and closer up. When the
platform finally does lock, you will get another snapshot.
After you do all of this, pull down the pole. After that, go over to the
cannon, and start spraying water bombs on the knights in the balcony across
from you. After you do, you will get a good job.
After you get them, you have to transfer each character onto of the tree, and
then on the next roof. Before you do, have PIB walk across the gap, onto the
roof. Here, kill the three knights that attack you with PIB. After you kill
them, knock over the TNT barrels to the southwest. This will knock down the add
creating a bridge for everyone to climb over onto the roof.
On the roof, shoot down the four knights on the two different balconies. Once
you have done this, jump down onto the final roof. When you do, wait for the
giant Gingerbread Man to put his hand close to you. When he does, have everyone
stand on it, and he will put you down on the ground.
When you land, the leprechaun will start to talk to you. He will say that you
owe him a billion pieces of gold, and gingy says that we don't have that kind
of money. Bi gingy uses his foot and squishes the leprechaun before he could
finish his story.
When this is all taken care of, walk towards the south of your screen. Talk to
the mirror, and it will say that throw a cookie where you want big gingy to
strike, and he will. So, we must use this to our advantage.
When the mirror finishes talking, smash down the wagon, and walk forward.
Soldiers will attack you, so throw a cookie near them. Big gingy will fire use
what looks like buttons. These will destroy all of the knights that are near
the cookie.
Continue on, and knock down the next wagon. Move forward a little, and you will
see knights firing water bombs at us. Have gingy throw a cookie near all three
of them, so that big gingy will moe them down. When he does, move a little more
forward, and get a cookie refill.
Continue on, and big gingy will be blocked by a wagon. Have gigngy throw a
cookie near it, and big gingy will knock it down. Continue on, and more knights
will attack. Throw a cookie at them, and big gingy will hit them all. Continue
on a little more, and both you and big gingy will have another wagon in front
of them. Throw a cookie at his, and he will knock his down. After he does this,
knock yours down also.
Continue on, and kill all of the knights in those machines trying to kill biog
gingy. Walking on, there will be another wagon in front of you. Knock it down,
and continue on.
Walk on a bit more, and knights will attack you and big gingy. Kill some of
yours, and then throw a cookie at the soldiers on big gingy's side. He will
kill his, and then kill your by yourself. Walk a little more, and you will come
to another cookie refill.
Continue on a bit more, and there will be more knights in machines on big
gingy's side trying to hit you. Throw a cookie at them, and big gingy will
knock them out with ease.
Keep walking on, until you reach another wagon. Knock it down, and move on.
Moving on, there will once again be knights attacking you and big gingy. Throw
a cookie at the ones on big gingy's side, and then kill the ones on your side
by yourself. After you do this, continue on.
Walk a little further and you will get another snapshot. As soon as you do, you
will be transported right into a cannon, and it is time for...

Hero Time

Ok, this one you are kind of on your own. Just shoot the water bombs at the
balloons that get close to big gingy. EVERYONE e-mails me all the time asking
me for tips on how to beat this section, but in my opinion this is one of the
easiest hero times in the game.

After you beat Hero Time, you will get another snapshot, and big gingy will
fall into the water...dead. Gingy stays behind weeping for his long lost pal.
His last words to the group are "go get them", and that is what we are going to
do.

Final Fight
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The storybook opens saying that Shrek met up with Fiona, but if they didn't
kiss before midnight, they would go back to being ogres. Well, what do you
know, they decided to "go for the ugly."
The storybook brings you to the level, and shows a huge cut scene in which
Shrek and Fiona kiss, and they all turn back to normal. Then, the fairy
godmother comes and screams "NO" and stuff like that. She turns Herald into a
frog, and Fiona yells at her, and the level opens up.
This whole level is basically a fighting arena.
The first people that the Fairy godmother sends out are a bunch of knights.
When you kill them, she will send some of those factory workers you saw
earlier.
When you kill all of them, you will have to face two trolls. (Remember the ones
in level 8.) Just hit the bombs back to one or the other, and after 6 hits,
both of them will be gone. (Three hits each.)
After you beat one of the trolls, a health potion will appear. Grab it, and
recharge your team. When you beat the trolls, you will get your first snapshot.
After the trolls comes fairy godmother. Just avoid the blue circles until she
comes out of her bubble. When she does, hit her then. When she loses about two
thirds of her health, she will give up for now and you will get another
snapshot.
Next, Prince Charming, and three trolls will attack. Kill the trolls the same
way, and just like last time, a health potion will appear after you kill one of
them. When you get the trolls, Prince Charming comes into fight, and he is very
easy to kill. (When you beat these guys, you will get another snapshot.)
After you beat these guys, the fairy godmother returns. Kill her in the same
