Hello all and welcome to my first FAQ. I decided to do this faq because I
love Jack. He is the best Samurai/Warrior ever and am honoring this faq in
his name. Since this is my first faq there may be some errors and such but be
paitent as I am trying to do this to the best of my ability.

Sword Smash = Double jump then press x and Jack will smash his sword into
the ground dealing heavy area damage.
Dodge Roll = Hold R1 + Square and Left analog stick(direction you want) at
the same time
Barrell Roll = Hold R1 + X, O, X, O
Description:Jack jumps in the air and spins horizontally while twirling his
sword around him
Location: First Level before the end near the bridge
Windmill = Hold R1 + X, O, O, X
Description: Jack spins in the air almost in a sitting position and spins
360's dealing heavy damage to a wide area.
Location: In the burning building before you go up the ladder jump across
the log and pick it up.
Cobra Chop = HOld R1 + O, O, O, O
Description: Jack swings his sword in one complete circle then comes down
hard on an enemy.
Location: In the Greenhouse level fall off the ledge behind the 2 pair
of locals that you rescue.
Kick Slash = Hold R1 + X, X, X, X
Location: Near the end of the Find the Tree Spirit Level. When you jump
on the mushroom platforms(longest of that level) continue going
all the way up and you will find it there.
Au Sem Mao = Hold R1 + X, X, X, O
Tornado Swipe = Hold R1 + O, X, X, O

Story ** #1E **
==============================================================================
Samurai Jack is a warrior from the past banished to the future by the evil
wizard Aku.
From childhood, Jack's destiny was to free his people from Aku. He
trained in the martial arts, becoming a master with the Samurai sword,
throwing stars and bow. But sly Aku recognized Jack as a threat. In a
masterstroke of treachery, the wizard cast Samurai Jack into the future
leaving his people defenseless.
Now Jack's family and friends are his ancient ancestors. He wanders the
world in search of the portal that will return him home.
And Aku? HIs evil shadow darkens the future as well. Aku's robot minions
are invading peaceful lands to imprision, enslave and brainwash innocent
inhabitants. The only hope is Samurai Jack, and every soul he rescues brings
him one stop close to his destiny - the destruction of Aku

Items ** #1F **
==============================================================================
Relics = Green glowing things you need to collect throughout each level to
purchase upgrades like enhancing your health and zen meter. Also you can
increase your sword strength.
Sushi = Large/Small restores Jack's health....small restores a little bit
while the large sushi restores all of Jack's Health
Armor = (SO COOL) Jack dones armor. Helps protect Jack(except from falling
and fire..ect)from enemies. When you pick up armor, you get 3 yellow boxes
above Jack's health meter. Each hit jack takes reduces 1 box. The cool
thing is, is that when Jack gets hurt part of his armor/gi will fall off to
show the damage.
Combo Scrolls = They teach Jack awesome new moves.
Aku Crates = Destroy these with your sword. They usually contain food/armor.
Aku Statues =
Locals = You need to free the locals that are scattered throughout the worlds,
usually in 3s or 1. To free them slash the locks with your sword. When you
free enough locals they will give you powerful artifacts.(Sword Upgrades).
Zen Crest= A blue zen crest that will restore all of Jack's Zen meter.

Combat/Enemies ** #1G **

In this section I will talk about the enemies Jack will face along his
travels and discuss strategies on how to beat them. If you have any
additional tips please email me.(some enemies I don't know the name of so I
used my Imiganation! :) (indicated with *)
Tri Shockers*
------------
Description- A basic robot with a triangle tread on the bottom for movement
Difficulty- *
Attacks- An electrical prod arm that shocks jack, a defensive sheild(those
ones that have these will not move) that activates when Jack gets too close.
Strategy- For the ones with the electrical prod just use your sword, for the
shielded ones use throwing stars or shield.
Spider Bots*
-----------
Description- A robotic spider
Difficulty- *
Attacks- Shoots a bullet every 5 or so seconds at Jack
Strategy - Very Easy just block(hold R1) and 99% of the time the bullet will
go right back to the spider bot and destroy it.
Beetle Drones
-------------
Description - (First Seen on Episode 3)A robotic beetle with razor sharp legs
Difficulty - **
Attacks- Will swing at Jack with its legs, can block some of Jacks attack
Strategy - Use a sword smash to knock the beetle on its back. Then again for
an instant kill
Chain Saw Bot*
-------------
Description - A huge robot with chain saw blades for hands. Had a big red
button on the back which is the only place to deal damage to it.
Difficulty - **
Attacks - Will swing each arm seperatley, also using both arms for some
moderate damage.
Strategy - Just use Sakai mode and run around him and attack the big red
button on his back.
Mega Fist(Boss)
---------------
Description - Much like the chain saw bot except bigger and deals a lot more
damage.
Difficulty - ** 1/2
Attacks - Uses giant fist to pound jack into oblivion
Strategy - Dont use your combos here because they will still attack you.
Just go into sakai mode and run around and attack the red button on their
back.

#2A ** Journey to Village ** Total Locals:5 Total Relics: 50
You start off the game with Jack climbing a mountain:) He slips and a blue
hybird fish/man thingy helps him. He warns Jack not to go a certain way
because Aku has attacked his village. Well we all know that Jack can't let
that happen so you set off to the village. When you first gain control of
Jack talk to the blue dude and he will ask you to help rescue his enslaved
people and recover the stolen artifacts. Behind him is relic(1). Continue
to the scroll, which is Jack's Dad's spirit talking to Jack. Relic(2) is
opposite side of scroll. Continue on ahead. You will come across your
first enemy, a robot with an electric prod as an arm (I'm going to call them
"Tri-shockers" since I can't find a name for them anywhere.) They're pretty
easy,they only have one attack. Just hit them with your sword before they
can hit you. Get relic(3). Then climb the ladder. Another tri-shocker to
take care of. Read the scroll behind it, which talks about Sakai Mode
(very useful). Collect relic(4-5) across from each other. Two more
tri-shockers ahead. Relic(6) is beside the waterfall. Sushi is in front
of the ladder. Climb the ladder and free the 3 locals. Relic(7) is beside
the prison. Jump over the pit to relic(8), three more tri-shockers ahead.
Relic(9-10) beside the Aku crates. Destroy the crates to find armor for Jack.
Collect relics(11-13) as you go down the hill with 3 tri-shockers at the
bottom of the hill. Double jump on top of pillar for relic(14). A large
sushi is in a crate above that. Continue ahead...you will see 4 statues
spitting flame. Each statue at a relic(15-18) in its mouth. Between statues
on right side is a cave. Inside, collect relic(19), two boxes which contain
an armor, and free one local at the end of the cave. Head back out and go
right. collect the combo scroll which teaches you the barrel roll (very
effective against multiple enemies). Up ahead you will see 4 tri-shockers
and a spider-bot. Spider-bot shoots bullets at you one a time. Just block
and deflect bullet back at the spider-bot with sword to defeat it. But
before you attack the enemies, head left down the path and collect
relics(20-22). You will come under the bridge, turn to the right and you
will see a crack in the concrete. Strike at the crack with your sword which
will reveal a super-relic (worth 25 relics). Continue you up the path
collectings relics(48-50). A path to your left has a tri-shocker and the last
local you need to free in the level. Go back and kill the 4 tri-shockers and
spider-bot. Collect the large sushi in front of the bridge. Walk across the
bridge to complete the level!

Village Square ** #2B **
==============================================================================
#2B ** Village Square ** Total Locals: 0 Total Relics: 0
After the first level you will come to the only part of the village that's
safe from Aku. If you talk the villagers they pretty much tell you that
they're wusses and they're lost without their King. Directly to the right
is the path to the World Hub, but we'll get to that later. There is a box
at the left corner of the village square that has armor, which respawns every
time that you re-enter the village square. Diagonally across contains a box
with sushi that also respawns. To the left is 3 platforms: Health, Power,
and Zen, which Jack can meditate on for upgrades, to increase his stats. The
number under each one represents how many relics it costs to upgrade. since
we only have 50 relics we can't do anything just yet. So head to the only
door open, labeled: Rescue the King!

Rescue the King ** #2C **
==============================================================================
#2C ** Rescue the King ** Total Locals: 10 Total Relics: 50
At first read the scroll which will tell you to smash the Aku statues for
munitions (Throwing Stars and Arrows later on). Directly ahead are 3
tri-shockers. Two have defensive shields that activate when you get close, so
use your throwing stars to defeat them. 3 stars will kill one of them.
Collect relic(1-2), the second one is behind the Aku crate which contains a
small sushi. Destroy crate between the gate, this contains an armor.
Relic(3) is beside the crate. Read the scroll which talks about the guard
ability. Ahead will be 3 spider-bots. Just deflect the bullets back.
Continue on the path. You will easily find relics(4-6). There's a crate
with a small sushi in it. As you continue, 3 tri-shockers and 1 spider-bot
will appear. Relic(7) is in that area. Continue through the hallway
to get relics(8-10). Take the right path for relic(11). 3 tri-shockers will
appear. Another tri-shocker guards one local behind the building. Collect
relic(12). Relics(13-14) will be collected as you head up the ramp to free
the 3 locals. Relic(15) is in the crevice between buildings beside the ramp.
Go back through the hallway and head left where a checkpoint is. 3
spider-bots are beyond that with relics(16-17) in that area. Continue until
you reach 2 crates stacked on top of each other in an alley. They contain
an armor. Continue through the alley where 2 tri-shockers guard 2 locals.
Go back out and continue towards the crate, which has a large sushi in it.
Ahead is 5 tri-shockers. Defeat them and head into the red fenced-in area to
free the 3 locals on top of a platform. Continue ahead with relics(19-21) in
the area. You will face 4 tri-shockers and 2 of them use the defense shields.
After you destroy them, the door ahead will open up, which is the exit to the
level. In that area the Aku statues will contain arrows for your bow. Free
the local beside the burning wagon. Continue up the stairs. To the left
is relics(22-23). To the right is relics(24-25). Hit the crack in the wall
behind the relics to open up the secret area to receive a super relic worth
25 relics. Go through the door for a cut scene with the King!

|When you return to the village square, directly across you will see the next|
|2 doors open for you. If you talk to the King beside the metal door he will|
|tell you that you need to free more locals to help you find the priest. |
|Before you continue on to the next level, purchase an upgrade of your |
|choice. I recommend Health. Then head on to the Burning Building stage. |

The Burning Building ** #2D **
==============================================================================
#2D ** The Burning Building ** Total Locals: 25 Total Relics: 100
In your first area you will come across your first Beetle Drone. They are
tough. Use your sword smash to knock them on their backs and then sword smash
again and you will instantly kill them. Otherwise, they will be difficult
because they can block some of your attacks while standing up. Get crate on
the right for armor. Follow the path for relics(1-5). Continue straight
to grass hut with 1 local inside. Head to the fountain where 4 spider-bots
and 1 beetle drone awaits. Attack the crate beside the blue wall to get
sushi. Attack the crack in the wall behind the crate to find super relic
worth 3. Free the 3 locals and then collect relics(9-13) in area near the
water fountain. Free the locals beside the ladder. Climb up the ladder and
then the next ladder to hit the switch that will open the door below you.
Go through the door. Inside is a room with 4 spider-bots. Relics(14-15) are
in that room. Go out and to the left for relic(16). Collect relic(17) and
then a cut-scene will show that you need a key to enter the burning building.
Continue forward and 2 beetle drones will attack. Go between the 2 huts for
relic(18) and 3 locals. Relic(19) is in front of the door that requires the
key to open. Go through the crack in the wall which has 1 local and an armor.
Take elevator in the back right corner up. Relic(22-25) are in that area.
Free the 1 local. If you have collected all 30 locals thus far, you will
receive the Ultra Flame Sword. Which can only be summoned when you have Zen
in your Zen meter. Also drains Zen when you deal damage to an enemy. Jump
onto the wood platform and then to the outside ledge to get the super relic
worth 25, bringing relic total to 50. Go back in through the door and then go
through the door with the checkpoint.
Equip your flame sword (directional pad
right) and you will come across a chainsaw bot that has chainblades on each
arm. You cannot attack him from the front, only from the rear. Best strategy
to defeat him is to dodge his attacks until he gets his chain stuck in the
floor and then run around to his back and attack him. After defeating him,
you will get the key. Go unlock the door. Go up the stairs. Cut scene will
show you 3 locals trapped up top. At the bottom floor you will face 3
spider-bots and 2 beetle drones. Free the 3 locals and collect relics(51-52).
Go up the ramp collecting relics(53-54). 2 tri-shockers will be up top.
Continue through the door. A spider-bot is on your left. Go up the ramp for
relic(55-56). A spider-bot is up top, guarding 1 local. Collect relic(57)
near another spider-bot. A sushi is in the Aku crate. Walk across the log
for super relic(58-82). Collect combo scroll: WindMill. Climb the ladder
and you will face 4 spider-bots and 5 mushroom like things that emit
harmful gas when you get too close. Use your throwing stars to take them out.
Collect relics(83-87). Continue on the platform for relic(88-91). Jump on
ramp and go down for relic(92-93). With a spider-bot guarding 1 local and
an Aku crate with a sushi inside. Back up the ramp is one tri-shocker.
Activate the pump in the room to put out the fire above. Go up the ramp for
relic(94) and a spider-bot is guarding 1 local. Continue on to collect
relic(95) and checkpoint. Jump on the swinging platforms to collect
relics(96-99). This is easier if you don't double jump. Once you make it
across, 2 spider-bots will appear. Go up the ramp to the elevator which will
take you to a switch. Once activated, it will free 3 locals. Go back up the
elevator and down the ramp. 3 tri-shockers and 1 spider-bot will appear.
Free the last local of the board, collect the large sushi, and relic(100).
Continue through the door to the end of the level!

| Back in the Village Square you will have enough to purchase another |
|upgrade which I suggest you do. Then talk to the Blue Villager besides |
|the Destroy the Statue area. He will tell you " Aku is forcing our people |
|to build a mind control tower in the middle of the village. Or we will all |
|be his mind slaves forever." So head through the door.... |

Destroy the Statue ** #2E **
==============================================================================
#2D ** The Burning Building ** Total Locals: 20 Total Relics: 100
Starting off you will appear in a courtyard. There is 1 spider bot and 1 tri
shocker. Collect relics(1-3) and free the 3 locals. To the right of where you
enter is a path that leads to another 3 locals. Defeat the 2 spiderbots and
the 1 trishocker that appears. After that head through the door.
You will enter in a room with 2 beetle drones. Dispose of them and collect
Relics(4-5). Enter the door to the right(will be another room not outside).
Defeat the 2 tri shockers and free the 1 local. Collect the super relic on
the shelf briging your total to 30. The crates contain 2 small sushis and an
armor. Head back out and go through the last door.
3 Spider bots will attack you as soon as you step out. Deflect the shots
back to them and collect Relics(31-33). Then a cut scene will show the giant
mind controlling aku statue and the 3 support ropes that you need to cut to
bring the statue down. After the cut scene 1 beetle drone and 2 spider bots
will appear. Destory them with the customary Jack efficency. Directly ahead
you will see an assembly line that will spawn a tri shocker always(so don't
worry about killing them unless they attack you and collect relic(34) near the
near a tree across from the spawn area. The 2 crates beside the belt contain
2 small sushis. Head down the path and 1 spider bot, 1 beetle drone, and 1
tri shocker will appear. Dispose of them. Continue down the path and 2
spider bots and 1 tri shocker will appear. Before you head into the door,
head around the cliff to free 1 local. Now head back through the door.
You will then go through a hallway to an elevator. Head up and you will
come out to an area with 1 tri-shocker. Collect relics(35-37) and destory
(1)rope that is holding the statue in place. Continue down the ramp and
another tri-shocker is down there. Along the path another 2 tri shockers and
1 spider bot will appear. The crates contain 2 small sushis. Collect
relic(38) by the crates. Now free the 3 locals and collect a super relic
bringing your total to (63). Now head through the door.
Inside 2 tri shockers will appear. Free the 1 local. Now you will see
the statue heads from the first level again. Easily avoid the fire and
collect relics(64-65). 1 spider bot is at the end of the hallway. Now
go up the ladder that is located to your right. A checkpoint is located at
the top as well as the (2) rope that you need to cut. If you look across the
platforms you will see 2 spider bots and 2 tri shockers. I recommend using
your throwing stars so they don't give you trouble when you jump across the
platforms. Collect Relics(66-70) on the platforms. As you get to the last
platform with the 3 trapped locals 1 spider bot and 1 tri shocker will
appear. Collect Relics(71) and free the 3 locals. Now destory the last
rope and watch the cut scene of the aku statue falling down and revealing
an elevator down. Now collect Relic(72) but dont go down the elevator. Head
back over to where you came out from the ladder. If you look down and to
your right you will see 1 local and a super relic. Jump down(you will take
some damage but not a lot.) Free the local and collect the relic bringing
your total to (97). Now head down the statue and jump to your right.
2 tri shockers and 1 beetle drone will appear. Free the last local and head
down the tunnel where the elevator would have dropped you off. Collect
Relics(98-100) and 3 tri shockers will also be in that area. Now head back
to the bottom of the statue and take the elevator down to complete the level!

| Back at the Village Square the big metal door is finally open and if you |
| talk to the king he will tell you, " The priest is through that door, if |
| you rescue him my people will finally be free. " Great well before you do |
| that I recommend you purchase the last 100 relic upgrade. Each additional|
| upgrade now cost 150. Grab the armor and health if you need it and head |
| through the metal doors for the boss fight. |

Rescue the Priest ** #2F **
==============================================================================
Head down the stair and you will see the priest behind bars. Now 2 huge
guys that look like the chain saw bot will appear except they have giant fist.
The best strategy I have found in defeating them is to equip your flame sword
and go into Sakai mode (because like the chain saw bot these guys can only be
hurt from the back.) If you need health and armor they are located in the
crates. Also a new item is there. A zen crest which restores your zen meter
fully!! But all in all a pretty simple battle. After you defeat the 2 guys
Jack and the priest will talk. You now need to go to the world hub which is
a path located near the burning buliding entrance.

The Tree Spirit ** #3 **
==============================================================================
Upon arriving in the forest you will be in a wide open area with some crates
up ahead of you and the shrines to the right. Break the boxes because one
contains an armor for jack that gives him and addiditonal 3 boxes. Plus he
looks a lot cooler. Now head through the area and a cutscene will unfold in
which 3 little tree men talk to Jack. Apparantly Aku is burning the forest
and the Tree Spirit is in hiding. Nothing much else to do except go to into
the level that is Break the Siege.

Break the Siege ** #3A **
==============================================================================
#3A ** Break the Siege ** Total Locals: 20 Total Relics: 100
The first area is a giant pool, the aku crate beside you contains a small
sushi. Relics(1-7) are located around the pool and up the platforms near the
waterfall. There is one frog guy in the pool. All he does is swim around
then pops up and attacks you. Pretty easy just wait till hes above water and
use your sword. Now head up the platforms and two Fire Bots will attack.
(They shoot balls of fire at jack(duh!)). Continue along the river and 3 more
fire bots will attack. Just deflect the shots back at them. Pick up
relics(8-11) and free the 1 local. When you reach the checkpoint a chain saw
bot will appear. Defeat him with Sakai mode and a key will drop. Now go
unlock the door.
Through the door is relic(12-15) and 2 fire bots. Jump on the platform to
pick up relic(16). The aku crate above that contains a small sushi. Relic(17)
is under the fallen tree. Continue up the river to pick up relic(18-19). Near
the 1 trapped local 2 fire bots will appear. Free the local, the aku crate
in the aclove contains an armor. Now head up the river to the checkpoint, the
aku crate there contains a small sushi. A few yards past the check point you
will see a crack in the right wall. Hit it with your sword and it will reveal
1 local and relics(98-99).(yeah had to go back through to find this one)
Past the checkpoint Relic(20) is beside a fire
Relic(21) is a top a boulder. When you jump atop the next
platform for relic(22) jump across and up and collect Relic(23-25) with 1 fire
bot and 1 local needing to be freed. The aku crate contains a small sushi.
After you free the local double jump across to the other fire bot and collect
relic(26-27). Head back down to the river and continue along. 2 fire bots
will appear after them collect relic(28) and jump up along the platforms
collecting relics(29-30). Relic(31) is across the log as well as 1 fire bot
and 1 local. After you free the local another firebot spawns across the log.
Head back down and continue up the river. 1 fire bot is near the checkpoint
(boy sure are a lot of these for an easy level) anyway the aku crate on the
top platform to your right is an armor if you need it. One firebot will be
near relic(32-33). Before you go through the cave to your right is a crack
in the wall with relic(100) and another local.
In the next area after the cave you will come across 1 fire bot and
relics(34-35). The aku crate contain a small sushi. Pick up relic (36-37)
as you come out of the next cave. Jump on the bolder then on the ledge for
relic(38). Jump across the the small cave to free 1 local and relic(39).
Drop back down to the river and continue. Near the next relic(39) 2 fire bots
will appear. Continue past the ladder for an aku crate that contains a small
sushi and relic(40) behind it. Continue up the ladder where 3 fire bots await
and relics(41-43) await. Jump on the platforms and free the 1 local and
relic(44). Jump across the waterfall for relic(45), 1 local, and another
checkpoint.Now double jump across the gap where 4 fire bots and a key holding
chain saw bot await. Defeat all of them and free the local. The aku crate
contains an armor. Now go unlock the door and head through.
In the first area of the cave is relic(46-47). Head through the door into
another area with 6 firebots, relics(48-51) and two aku crates containing
a small sushi and an armor. Head outside where 2 fire bots will spawn near
3 trapped locals. Free the locals and destory the 2 aku crates for a small
sushi if you need it. Relic(52) is located under the fallen log. Up ahead
are 3 locals that need to be freed. 5 Firebots will spawn near the locals so
beware. Continue ahead and a cutscene will show a massive tree fort with one
of Aku's Demon Minions up top(Episode 1). During the cutscene you will also
note that in the next area there are boulders coming down the path. Be
careful here as the boulders move fast and all the relics here are directly on
the path. After the cutscene 4 firebots will spawn directly in front of you.
After you have taken care of them collect Relics(53-61) along the 2 boulder
paths. 6 fire bots are on the right most path. Continue to the right of the
board(don't go up the stairs yet) and a little notch will be beside near the
tree where there is a underground pool. In there are 3 frog man and
relics(62-66) and an aku crate with a small sushi. Continue through to
a place where 2 fire bots will appear, defeat them and depress the switch
whichs sends a platform on water up to a door and unlocks the door for you.
Now head back outside and go up the stairs collecting relic(67). An aku
crate contains a small sushi and a checkpoint. Go through the door and
6 fire bots will attack you. 3 from afar and 3 right beside you. After you
defeat them you collect the relics(68-70) and smash the aku crates for a
small sushi if you need it. Now climb up the ladder where 2 fire bots await.
Grab relics(71-72). Free the 3 locals as well.Before you head through the
door double jump to the right and grab the super relic bringing your total to
(97). Now head through the door and up the natural elevator. Here will be
6 firebots take them out and walk across the wood platform. Here you will
fack 1 of Aku's Minions. He is pretty easy, after that the door will unlock.
Free the last local and head through the door to complete the mission.

From the little Tree Man, "Aku's Drones are trying to destroy our greenhouse
that place is our livelihood. It must be protected"
As you enter the world a cutscene shows the forest burning around Jack. As
soon as you gain control of Jack head to the right and free 3 locals. 2 fire
bots and a flamethrower drone attack. The flamethrower drone has two flame
throwers for each arm. A good sword smash will kill them. The crates near the
lake have an armor in them. The crates near the entrance contain a small
sushi. Before you head right go left and you will see a relic worth(5). Walk
up near the ledge with the 2 rusty hooks and double jump up there.
Then Head to the right and up the path. The crates along the path contain
a small sushi. Collect Relics(6-11) on your way. Up ahead you will face off
with 6 fire bots and 2 flamethrower drones guarding 3 locals. Free the locals
and the crates beside them contain a large sushi. Now as soon as you free the
locals 9 more fire bots will appear. As well as 3 flame bots. Once you
defeat them go back to where you freed the 3 locals and you will see a break
in the wood behind them. Drop off and you will land on a platform for the
Combo Scroll Cobra Chop!! Very Nice move.
Now head back up and continue along the path collecting relics(12-17). Next
you will have to fight 2 flamethrower drones and 4 fire bots. Dispose of them
and continue up towards where 3 more locals are located. Free the 3 locals
and defeat the 8 fire bot and 1 flamethrower drone that are guarding the
the locals. The 2 crates up the stairs contain a large sushi. Now cross the
bridge with the checkpoint and collect relics(18-22). Across the bridge is
6 fire bots and 2 flamethrower drones. The crate there also contains another
large sushi. There is an elevator to take you back to bottom but first go
inside. Continuting through you will face 3 fire bots and 1 flamethrower bot
in the first room. Heading into the second you will come across relics(23-25).
6 fire bots and 1 flamethrower drones. You see a key hole but no key. So head
right and you will see a checkpoint. Enter the room and you will find a chain
saw drone that has the key. Defeat him and free the local. If you have freed
all the locals so far you will get the Ultra Crystal Sword which is very cool
looking and powerful. Destorying all the crates in the room will yeild you
armor and many small sushis. Now head back to enter the key and a cutscene
will ensue. Jack releases a water fall that puts out all the fire and a
platform drops down. Heading back outside you will face 2 flamethrower drones
and 1 fire bot. Take the elevator down. You can get the relic or the combo
scroll if you missed them. Now hit the switch in the middle.
Inside the Greenhouse you will face 3 tree spirits and you head up the ramp.
They are pretty easy to beat but they can go underground so watch out.
Up on the next level you will fight more tree spirits and 2 posionus
mushrooms. There are 2 relics worth 5 each bringing your total to (35).
Free the 3 locals and continue up. On the next level you will face more tree
spirits and 2 more mushrooms. Watch because you have 2 tree spirits above you
hurling flaming balls that explode. Free the local and collect the 5 point
relic bringing your total to (40). Take the next elevator up. There are more
tree spirts here and 2 more mushrooms. Grab another 5 point relic bringing
the total to (45). Jump on the platform and hit the switch droping leaves so
Jack can go up. The crate next to the checkpoint across from the switch
contains armor. Now head across the leaves and up top you will fight
multiple tree spirits and 2 mushrooms. Defeat them and grab the last 5 point
relic bringing the total to (50). Also free the last local. Now hit the
switch in the middle of the platform and you will be taken up. Up top you
will fight 3 of Aku's Minions. This battle is a little tougher but use your
combos and the crystal sword and you should have no problem. After that exit
the level.

#3C ** Find the Tree Spirit ** Total Locals: 25 Total Relics: 150
From the tree man, " Aku's Drones have reached the Tree Spirit's Tree! Maybe
if you rescue him he will listen to reason"
When you first enter this level head down the ramp and you will come to an
open area. There are 4 tree spirits here. Defeat them and you will see an
metal bridge ahead of you that requires 2 keys this time. So lets head left
first. The aku crate contains a small sushi. Heading towards the hut you will
come across 2 tree spirits. In the hut is another chain saw drone. He drops
a key when you destory him. Also free the 1 local there. Now head back to the
middle and 4 more tree spirits will attack. Now to the right is another hut
with another chain saw drone there. Get the key after you destory him and
free the 1 local. Now head back and enter the 2 keys to unlock the bridge.
Up ahead is 2 tree spirits. After you defeat them double jump to the platform
containg a super relic(25). Now continue along the path and you will face 4
more tree spirits. When you come to a clearing with 3 aku crates 4 more tree
spirits attack. I found the best method to defeating them is to use your
Windmill attack.(XOOX). The aku crates contain a large sushi. Walk across
the bridge where 1 local is being held. Defeat the 6 tree spirits that attack
you. The aku crate contains sushi and armor. You will see another bridge
requiring a key so head across the one with the checkpoint. You will come
across *sigh* another chain saw drone with 1 local. After you get the key
head out to the platform and free another local then head back across the
bridge and unlock the next area. Watch out because another 6 tree spirits
will attack. When you unlock the bridge go and get another super relic
bringing your total to (50). Now head down the wooden hallway into the next
area.
You will now be attacked by 8 tree spirits. After you defeat them grab the
armor in the Aku crate and relic(51). Jump to the next platform grabing
relic(52) on your way. Watch out as the mushroom platforms will fall if you
stay on there too long. On the next wooden platform are 2 more tree spirits.
Continue up the mushroom platforms collecting relics(53-54) on the way. At
the next wooden platform 2 more tree spirits will attack. Continue along the
mushroom platforms collecting relics(55-56) to the next wooden platform which
contains a checkpoint and an aku crate with a small sushi. Continue up 3 more
mushroom platforms for relics(57-59). When you reach the top you will be
attacked by 10 tree spirits. After you defeat them free the 3 locals. There
is a small sushi and armor in the aku crates. Before heading down the path
jump on the mushroom platforms collecting relics(60-62). On the next wood
platform is 2 more tree spirits. Continue along the mushroom platform for
relic(63). On the next wooden platform is 1 local an aku crate with armor
and a super relic bringing your total to (88). Now head back and go down the
wooden path. You will come across a bull tree spirit. Watch out because
blocking is useless. Just stay on the offensive and you should have no
problem. Along the path are leaves on each side. Each one has a relic in it.
The one with the water has a frog man as well. When you come to the end you
will be attacked by 8 tree spirits and 1 from above. You should have a total
of (94)relics before getting the one near the water with the tree spirits. In
the water are 2 frog men as well. Now continuing along the path 4 tree
spirits attack. Grab all the relics on the leaves bringing your total to (98)
Jump across the platform and free the 1 local. Ahead you will see a door
requiring a key. So go right to the platform with the aku crate(which has a
large sushi). Head along the wooden bridge to the checkpoint. Inside the
tree you will have to defeat another chain saw drone. Grabe relics(99-100)
and the aku crates contains armor and a small sushi. Now head back to the
locked door. In that area you will face 3 frog men and 1 of Aku's Demon
Minions. Defeat them and unlock the door.
After heading through the door you should have freed 10 locals and collected
100 relics. Now take the elevator down. In the immediate area there are
relics(101-109) and two aku crates containg armor and small sushi. Near the
109th relic 2 fire bots and 1 flamethrower drone will attack. Ahead another
fire bot and flamethrower drone will attack. Grab relic(110) and free the
3 locals trapped. Destroy the crates blocking your way which contain 2 small
sushis. In the next area are 1 flamethrower drones and 4 fire bots. Collect
relics(111-115) and free the 3 locals. Head into the tree. In the pool to
your left collect relic(116). Now head outside and you will fight 4
flamethrower drones and 3 fire bots. Free the 3 locals and collect
relcis(117-123). You will also be attacked by 2 flamethrower drones and 2 fire
bots. Now head up to the open area nd you will be attacked by 4 fire bots and
3 flamethrower drones that are blocking the path into the tree. Best way to
defeat them is sword smash them one by one. Collect the relics(124-126). Now
head up the ladder. Defeat the 1 tree spirit there and head up the second
ladder. There is 4 tree spirts up here with 1 local and 2 relics brining your
total to (132). Head back down and defeat the tree spirit near the elevator
inside.
up the elevator will bring you inside the tree. Defeat the 4 tree spirits
to drop an elevator from the top. Before you go up free the 1 local and grab
the small sushi from the Aku crate. Head up the elevator and there is an aku
crate with a small sushi to your left. There is one tree spirit here. Outside
is 1 trapped local and a check point. Now head up the mushroom platforms
collecting relics(133-134). On the wood platform you will fight 2 tree
spirits. Climb up the ladder and fight 2 more tree spirits. Collect
relic(135) and free 1 local. Now head up the next ladder. Continue up the
mushroom platforms collecting relics(136-138). You will see an area off to
your side ignore that for now. Continue up the mushroom platforms to you
reach to the top where you will get the next Combo Scroll Kick Slash!!. Also
there is a relic up there brining your total to (144). The aku crate contains
armor. Head back down to the area that you saw. Defeat the 2 tree spirits
there and free the last local then go on the elevator.
Get off the elevator and take the ladder up. Defeat the tree spirit and
the go on the mushroom platforms collecting relcis(147-148). Now continue
along the path defeating 2 more tree spirits and collecting the last relics
(149-150). Then head up the next elevator. A cut scene will unfold where
Jack meets the tree spirit. I wont give anything away but you will laugh when
you see what the tree spirit is. I know I did.

If you ever went to the Samurai Jack Game website www.sega.com/gamesite/
samuraijack you could send an e-card to someone and Sega would send you an
email for a code in the game. Well here is the code that I recieved. It lets
you get the powerful crystal sword.
Defeat your foes with the Crystal Sword! During gameplay, use the
following to activate:
GameCube
Left Stick Down(analog) + Right Stick Up, A, X, B, Y
PlayStation 2
Left Stick Down (analog)+ Right Stick(analog) Up, X, Circle, Square, Triangle
Another thing that I have found out so far is in the Village Square you will
see some chickens running around. Hit one of them with your sword and
some crazy stuff will happen(hint: just make sure you're not low on health :)
(I think this relates to how Jack never harms innocents, but that is just my
opinion.)
