Effective 6/9/03, I have removed my E-Mail, as I cannot help someone with a
game I don't have, and most of the things I do not remember. I have sold my
PS2, and all its games to GameStop. With that, I have purchased an Xbox, Brute
Force, Splinter Cell, Halo, and Pre-Ordered Soldier of Fortune II: Double
Helix. The fact is, that the Xbox has more of the games I LIKE, such as Halo,
Brute Force, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix, and other great Shooter, and
FPS games......Please look forward to future FAQs from me; as of right now, I
am working on a Brute Force Weapons Guide, and when it is released, a Soldier
of Fortune II: Double Helix Weapons Guide.

Sopot Military Personnel, Sopot Urban Military Personnel:
Sopot Military Personnel, and Sopot Urban Military Personnel are specifically
trained to kill. Sopot Military Personnel, and Sopot Urban Military Personnel
are tougher, and more accurate with their weapons than Security Guards.
When confronted with heavy firepower, they will not retreat, and will stand
their ground. Also, if you hide behind something expecting not to be harmed,
think again; these guys and girls will not hesitate to throw a Frag Grenade
your way, so watch out. Sopot Military Personnel, and Sopot Urban Military
Personnel are usually armed with weapons such as CSP-19 Pistols,
CMP-32 Machine Pistols, CAS-14 Shotguns, N.I.C.W.'s, CSR-60 Sniper Rifles,
Grenade Launchers, and CAR-72 Assault Rifles.
Members of Sopot Military, and Sopot Urban Military are:
Colonel Sandy, GI Johnson, GI Jones, Major Maia, Sergeant Green,
Sergeant Grey, and Sergeant Silver.
Nanotech Enhanced Personnel are created to do what a Soldier can't do; Take
lots of bullets. Nano Enhanced Personnel are not as accurate as Sopot
Military Personnel, but they can take twice as many bullets. Nano Enhanced
Personnel are not as smart as Soldiers, but Nano Enhanced Personnel attack
in large groups, making them deadly if you are not well prepared. Nano
Enhanced Personnel are usually armed with weapons such as CSP-19 Pistols,
CMP-32 Machine Pistols, CAS-14 Shotguns, and CAR-72 Assault Rifles.
Members of the Nanotech Enhanced Personnel are:
Nanotech Enhanced Civilians, Nanotech Enhanced Grunts.
The Nanotech Enhanced Elite Soldiers were designed to eliminate the Red
Faction, and anyone who opposed 'Chancellor Molov'. The Nano Enhanced
Soldiers are the most dangerous non-boss enemies in Red Faction 2. That is
why the Nano Enhanced Elite Soldiers are in a class of their own. Nano
Enhanced Soldiers can take up to TWO Metal Slugs from the Rail Driver before
dying, so it is recommended that you use weapons such as the NGL-8 Nanotech
Grenade Launcher, or the MKAP-97 Anti-Personnel Weapon when taking them on.
Nano Enhanced Elite Soldiers are usually armed with weapons such as
N.I.C.W.'s, and Nano Machine Pistols.
Sopot's Elite Guard are the human equivalents of the Nano Enhanced Elite
Soldiers. They are very accurate, very tough, and cannot be affected by
Incendiary Weapons, such as the alternate fire of the CAS-14 Shotgun, or from
Incendiary Grenades. Their full body armor makes them almost as hard to kill
as the Nano Enhanced Elite Soldiers. Sopot Elite Guard Soldiers will also
throw grenades, so be careful when taking cover behind something. Sopot Elite
Guard Soldiers are usually armed with CSMG-19 Silenced Machine Guns, CAR-72
Assault Rifles, or N.I.C.W.'s.
Members if Sopot's Elite Guard are:
Sopot Elite Guard Soldier, Sopot Elite Leader
Security Guards are the lowest form of enemies. They are not trained as good
as other forces in Sopot City, but they are decent at what they do. They are
inaccurate with their weapons, and they are also very dumb. Security Guards
are usually armed with weapons such as CSP-19 Pistols, CMP-32 Machine Pistols,
and CAS-14 Shotguns.
Members of the 'Security Guard' Group are:
Freddy, Mass Transit Marvin, R.B. KN.A.N.O., Security Guard, Skeeter,
Slammer Sammy, and Tazer Tom.
Automatic Turrets are Turrets that track movement whether it is yours, or the
person who set the Turret. Automatic Turrets are powerful, and they are very
deadly. It is recommended that you destroy these threats immediately.
Magnetic Mines are more of a nuisance than a threat, but when encountered in
groups, they can be VERY DEADLY. They are only encountered when you pilot
the S-271 Stealth Submarine.
Recommended Weapons:
- Torpedoes from S-271 Stealth Submarine
Spider Bomb:
Spider Bombs are also more of a nuisance than a threat, but when you are
low on health, they can be very much of a threat.
SOP-MA1 Battle Armor is best described as a miniature version of
Metal Gear Ray, from MGS2. Use any means necessary to destroy
Them, as you will be killed easily by its rockets.
*WARNING* The following section has Story Spoilers, so if you do
not want to find out anything, go back now.
Chancellor Sopot's Gunship:
Simply said, this is one badass Gunship. Your best bet is to find the
W.A.S.P. that is hidden behind the wall of the room you fight it from.
Dodge the rockets, because they hurt a lot.
Yeah, so the little ***** turns on you......that doesn't mean your
as good a dead, just make sure you are out of here line of sight,
and that you advance forward as you pin her down with fire. Once
you are right under her balcony, take out you Rail Driver, and unload
on her. If you run out of Metal Slugs, switch to the Nano GL, and use
the Alternate Fire. Once you kill her, you will receive her NPSR-755
Precision Sniper Rifle in a cutscene.

- CMRD-32 Magnetic Rail Driver
- N.I.C.W.- Nanotech Individual Combat Weapon
- NGL-8 Nanotech Grenade Launcher
- CSR-60 Sniper Rifle
- CAR-72 Military Assault Rifle
- W.A.S.P.- Wide Area Saturation Projectile
- JF90-HMG/BF Heavy Suppression Machine Gun
Repta:
Now this is bad....this is VERY bad. Not only does he have an MKAP-97
Anti-Personnel Weapon, but he is also very tough. The best bet in to
use you Rail Driver though walls, because the Bomb lets from the MKAP-97
will rip you to shreds. If you run out of Metal Slugs, switch to the
Precision Rifle, and aim at his head from the other side of the room.
After you kill him, claim his MKAP-97 Anti-Personnel Weapon as your
own....it should be on the second catwalk.
What happens when big and ugly gets bigger an Uglier? Well,
Repta Plus happens. He use a Heavy Machine Gun, and he has powers over
electricity. Use the Nano Machine Pistol, and hope you survive, because
this is a tough fight. Also, if you beat him while he is on the floor
with you, he drops a Heavy Machine Gun, so if you haven't picked it up
yet, pick it up now.
Molov may not be man enough to face you man to man, but he has no problem
with unleashing his Special Battle Armor. This 'Special' Battle Armor is
like no other Battle Armor....this Battle Armor can withstand lots
of punishment, and eventually, after tons of damage has been inflicted
upon it, it will blow, leaving just you and Molov to fight. Molov has a
Rail Driver, so wait until he reloads after every three shots, then
unload on him with the Dual Nano Machine Pistols, and the MKAP-97
Anti-Personnel Weapon until he dies.
