This is my very first in-depth Faq and I hope it isn’t my last. Upon getting
this game I was instantly engrossed in it. I really stayed up ‘till midnight
one day and tried to open all the krypt coffins, unsuccessful I might add. This
in-depth Faq is for people who want a complete set of moves for Cyrax, ‘cause
pressing start is a hassle in the middle of a fight. Copy, paste, and print for
personal use, I’m fine with that. I also included a Konquest guide for Cyrax.
Enjoy!

This in-depth Faq will include:
                                 >Introduction
                                 >Version History

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is the fifth installment in Midways extreme
fighting series: Mortal Kombat. The first version to be realesed for this
generation. Updated graphics; wicked sound; fast-paced action, is just a
little of what this game has in store.

Cyrax, one of the cooles characters to ever come up, is very neat in this game.
Like before he has yellow armor and the like but he wields a lot of cool
weapons and special moves. His pulse blade, for example, is the best looking
weapon in the game. And as for his others, they include a spinning blade that
protrudes from his chest to grinde opponents to the bone and a bomb that can
incinerate his victims to char. With the new fighting system and a set of
awesome moves Cyrax is one tough and intriguing fellow.

<>---------------------------------------------------------------------------<>

Cyrax doesn’t look that different except that he now has no flaps covering his
groin and butt. His infamous dreads, yellow metal armor, black covering on his
legs, and black coverings on his arms are his attire. Midway gave Cyrax a more
human shape, to be more precise a black man’s shape, hence the dreads. Cyrax
has flashing lights on his arms and legs. What, is he a Christmas tree now?
Overall he looks all right.

Cyrax’s alternate outfit reveals the front of his head and you can finally see
that he is much more then a robot, but an African American. His arms are not
covered by the black covering and you can see his arms but they still have some
mechanicals on them. His pants are black. This is a less appealing costume.

<>---------------------------------------------------------------------------<>
||                                    STORY                                  ||
<>---------------------------------------------------------------------------<>

The cyborg ninja Cyrax regained his soul with the aid of Special Forces
agents Sonya Blade and Jackson Briggs. In return for their help, he joined the
Special Forces Outerworld Investigation Agency and became a scout in the realm
of Outworld. On his last transport to that realm, a reptilian creature ambushed
Cyrax. His arm console was damaged in the struggle and with it his Inter-realm
portal technology. He defeated the creature, but still will have to find some
other means to return to Earthrealm.

A vampire named Nitara offered Cyrax a deal to return him to Earthrealm if he
retrieved for her an object from the molten depths of Outworld. His cybernetic
exterior was resistant to the harsh environment in which the object was hidden,
but only for a short period of time. It was a risky proposition, but it was
one that Cyrax was willing to take to return to Earth. Although he did not
fully trust Nitara, he agreed to travel with her to the location of the
mysterious object.

*Cyrax hands over the orb to Nitara* The enormous heat and pressure of the lava
burned out Cyrax's sensors almost immediately. He cast about blindly in the
infernal pit, searching for the orb Nitara had sent him to locate. Cyrax found
it resting upon a small-submerged pedestal beneath the molten depths. As soon
as he clambered to the surface, she demanded he hand over the Orb. *Nitara
sends Cyrax into the Earthrealm portal* Nitara had promised to return Cyrax to
Earthrealm once the orb had been retrieved. Taking her necklace in hand, she
uttered a mystical incantation. A swirling portal opened around Cyrax and he
only had time for a solemn bow before he was swept into the gateway.
