Pilot". This is a complete guide to the game, covering everything from mobile
suits, weapons and missions. If you happen to own this game, I hope you find

Controls (CTRL)
===============
Menus controls are simple: "A" is yes. "B" is cancel.
In-Game: Space and Ground
Control Pad
Up: Use the scope. Need to have a compatible weapon and the skill equipped.
Left: Display Ability Select
Right: Display Map
Down: Exit the scope. Need to have a compatible weapon and the skill equipped.
Analog Stick Left/Right: Turns you in the direct pushed
A Button: Use weapon
B Button: Switch between weapon and infight weapon
C Button: Move view around
X Button: Lock-on/off of an enemy. Press while more than one enemy is on
screen to change target. Hold to turn off auto-lock-on.
Y Button: Use Sub Weapon (If a Sub Weapon is available)
Z Button: Switch between weapon 1 and weapon 2 (if two weapons are equipped)
L+B: Ram/Special Attack
R: Use Shield (if equipped) as well as fixes your view behind the unit. Can
strafe left and right while held down
In-Game: Ground only
Analog Stick Up/Down: Move forward/backward
L: Press down fully to use thrusters. Press down lightly and a direction to
boost in that direction. Fills up the power bar while in use.
In-Game: Space only
Analog Stick Up/Down: Turns you upward/downward (Inversed if option is on)
Double Tap L: Use shield and boost backwards. Press R to go faster and to fill
up the power bar.
R: Press down only a bit to move forward. Press down fully to use thrusters at
full power, this fills up the power bar.

=============
Weapon Name
Ammo: Number of times the weapon can be used
Clips: Number of times the weapon can be reloaded ("-" means unlimited)
Range: How far the weapon can reach
Firing Rate: How the weapon is fired (e.g. Automatic, Single or Double)
Firing Speed: Rate at which rounds are fired
Damage: How powerful the weapon is per round
Weight: How much the suit is slowed down by the weapon
Reload Speed: The time it takes to for a clip to be loaded
Power Drain: How much the power bar is filled when the weapon is fired
2-Hand Firing Mode: Whether or not the weapon can be held with both hands to
increase the range
Unlock: Any requirements that are needed to unlock the weapon
Notes: Info about the weapon
Note: A comma followed by another number indicates how much the ammo or clip
is increased by an equipped skill level. E.G. By equipping a level 1 Beam Ammo
Up skill, the Beam Rifle () now has a clip of 1 rather than 0.
Locking on - Different weapons have different lock on times and ranges. If the
pair is lined up, the enemy is in range of the weapon. If another crosshair
appears, the sub weapon is in range of your target.

Pressure
When an enemy's pressure bar is full, their display turns red and they stop
moving and attacking.
When you have your pressure bar full, you enter confusion mode. Controls are
switched around and you cannot pause the game (e.g. up becomes down, fire
becomes sub weapon etc.). Luckily this only lasts for a couple of seconds and
when finished completely empties the pressure bar. You can still attack
enemies while confused.

You have to catch up to the White Base, taking out all tanks, fighters and
mobile suits that are in your way. Once you catch up, head forward taking out
the hidden enemies, otherwise they will ambush and quickly destroy the White
Base. Don't worry too much about the fighters, the Guntank and Guncannon will
take care of them. When it reach the advance area, Char will appear in a
random area with some Zaku II's and Magellas. Take him out to finish the
mission. If he gives you trouble, have the Guncannon and Guntank help you out.
S-Rank: can easily be obtained by destroying all the tanks and fighters. A
machine gun is really useful here.

This mission is in two small parts. First a wave of 9 Dopps comes in attacking
you and the Medeas. It shouldn't take too long to shoot them all down,
especially with help from the Guncannon, Guntank and Core Booster. Next the
Black Tri-Stars will show up in the Northern region. Going against them alone
is rather hard, so have you allies back you up to prevent a 3 on 1. Try to
single out one of the Doms and take it out rather than focusing on all three.
Also, some of the Medeas try to get in on the action.
S-Rank: Finishing off all three Doms by yourself is a good way to achieve it.
Don't worry about the enemies facing off against the Guncannon and Guntank.
They should be fine. Have the northwest GM pull back towards the White Base
while you go and destroy the two Goggs. Their armour is thick so watch out.
Now focus on the Acguys and Char in his Z'Gok coming towards the White Base.
If Char gets too close, Lt. [name] will attack in a FanFan and be destroyed
in a cut scene. Also when you get close to Char, another scene will play,
mimicking a certain weapon changing scene. Also note some GMs in this mission
are equipped with the Gundam's beam rifle, something they cannot normally do.
S-Rank: Try to destroy all the enemies yourself while having your allies
retreat towards the White Base.

Chibe appear in the far corner of the map. More Rick Doms will appear so take
them out as well. Destroying the Chibe will end the mission.
S-Rank: Be sure to take out all the Rick Doms before moving forward. There are
two Musais escorting the Chibe so blow them up before focusing on it.

This is perhaps the longest mission and is separated into 3 main parts. The
part has you escorting the White Base along with a Magellan and 2 Salamis'
towards Solomon. There are also GMs and Balls helping out and 4 Public ships.
The section ends when the White Base reaches the advance area. The second part
is the same except the GMs are replaced by Balls. When the White Base again
reaches the Advance Area, a scene will play. Afterwards, do not attack the Big
Zam yet as it is immune to ALL attacks. Wait and eventually a scene will play.
Now the Big Zam is shield less and heavily damaged. It shouldn't be too hard
to destroy it.
S-Rank: Hanging around the northern part of the first two maps seems to cause
enemy ships to appear faster. The Anti-Ship skill really helps here. Also try
to have as much health as possible when you destroy the Big Zam.
This mission has you pitted in two one-on-one fights. Watch out as there are
mines hidden underground and some floating in the air. The Gyan is specializes
in close combat, and its hide bombs cause stun your MS. The Melee Up skill
works really well so try to circle around it and attack. Eventually, it will
go down. Next Char in his custom Gelgoog will attack. He likes to dodge around
a lot so try to get in close and attack with your beam saber. He shouldn't be
too much of a problem.
S-Rank: Take a shield on a replay and equip either the Melee Up or Beam Ammo
Up skill and just tear into the Gyan and Gelgoog.

Another multi-part stage. First, destroy the 3 Musais, followed by the
Zanzibar. Lalah in the Elmeth will now attack. Damaging the Elmeth will
trigger a scene. Stop firing at her and only attack the bits. Eventually Char
will show up in his Gelgoog. Damage him enough to end the mission.
S-Rank: When you are to destroy the Zanzibar, head north and find the Gwazine.
Destroying that nets you some major points.

The final battle at A Bao Qu. The first part is set up much like the Solomon
mission with your allied ships approaching the fortress. Make sure you have
your allied mobile suits protect the ships. When the ships make to the area,
a cut scene will play and you now have to take out the Zeong. Try to stay close
to the Zeong and blast away with your beam rifle.
S-Rank: In the first part, stay near the Advance Area and blast the enemy
ships as they appear.

One of the more easy and fun missions, this has you replaying mission 8 in a
Core Fighter against Zakus. Be sure to equip the Explosive/Cannon ammo Up
skill to increase the number of missiles you have. After you take out the
Chibe, Aina in a Zaku II Kai will show up. She is a bit tougher than the other
enemies but she shouldn't be a problem.
S-Rank: A decent level Amuro should have no problem completing this mission.
Just be sure to re-supply at the White Base.

This mission is the same as Amuro's 2nd mission except you take control of
Kai. Focus on the Zakus and take out the hidden enemies before they can attack
the White Base. Have Amuro and Hayato help out against Char when he shows up.
S-Rank: Try to destroy all the Tanks and Zakus along with some fighters. The
Explosive/Cannon ammo Up skill allows you to go crazy with your main weapon.

Again, very similar to Amuro's mission 6. Take out the 9 Dopps and the Black
Tri-Stars will appear in the North. Gang up on them with everyone and try to
focus on one Dom at a time.
S-Rank: You want to finish off all 3 of the Doms yourself, and have a lot of
health left.
Be sure to have all of your allies except Amuro fall back to reduce
casualties. You start off immediately facing off against 2 Goggs and 2 Acguys.
Use your cannons against them and they should soon fall. Next take out the
North-eastern Goggs. Amuro may wander off to attack enemies so let him do so.
Try to double team Char with him after destroying the Acguys.
S-Rank: Come back with the Spray Missile Launchers and jump around while
attacking. Try to destroy all the enemies yourself, including Char.

First off, have all mobile suits help a ship to make sure they attack enemies
when they approach a ship. Destroy any threat. Eventually the White Base will
reach the advance area. In the second part it's more of the same, except that
the White Base is heavily damaged and is slowly floating towards A Boa Qu.
Eventually, a team of Gelgoogs and a Musai will appear in a scene and focus on
the White Base. Do everything you can to defend it as it will not take long
for them to destroy it. After they are destroyed the White Base will reach
the advance area.
S-Rank: During the first part of the mission, take out all of the enemies and
then hang out at the top of the map blasting the hell out of ships when they
spawn.
Guncannon + no ammo + melee only = :(
Okay, basically you get to take down a bunch of Zakus piloted by various
characters by punching them into submission. The suggested skills are a must
unless you're an ace at this game. Try to circle around each Zaku and attack
them from behind. This mission requires a lot of patience.

stick close to the White Base, only moving away to take out enemies. The
Guntank has a huge range, so use it to your advantage. When Char shows up,

You have to move towards the Northern enemy base and start attacking. You do
not want to step on the area labelled "Mine" as it is covered in explosives.
Your allies are further North and will attack after 40 seconds. Focus on the
mobile suits first, then the turrets. After taking out some of the defenses a
cut scene will play and Norris in a Zaku II will show up. He's not too tough
if you've levelled Shiro up a bit. Defeating him ends the mission.
S-Rank: Take out as many enemy units as possible before Norris shows up.

Start off by going around destroying all the enemies on your map. Eventually,
the Apsaras will show up. Be sure that no one is underneath it as it has a
large blast attack that hits everything underneath it.
S-Rank: Go off and destroy everything yourself, making sure you get the kills
and not your allies.
This has fighting against the Apsaras at full power. Have the Type-74 tank
move away from the Apsaras and have your 2 allies assist in attacking it. Be
sure to dodge its main attack; otherwise you may be instantly destroyed. A
couple of Dopps will show up after you start attacking the Apsaras. Luckily,
it's not too hard to shoot down.
S-Rank: I suggest taking both the Hyper Bazooka and Rocket launcher and
equipping the Cannon/Explosive Ammo Up instead of the default. Keep on firing
at the Apsaras and be sure to take out the Dopps that show up.

group of enemies out one at a time. Try to get overwhelmed. Be sure to keep an
eye on the Hover Truck as it may come under attack and has no defenses.
S-Rank: Leave your 2 allies to guard the Type-74 Hover Truck. Make your way
from the left to the right, taking out the enemies one group at a time. Be
sure to check on your allies as some enemies may approach them or just to
re-supply.

Shiro's last mission. Before the mission starts, have all the Guntanks move to
a different corner of the map, Norris only needs to be near a Guntank to
actually destroy it (they are destroyed in a small cut scene). When you start,
attack the Zaku II and then move onto the Dom. Karen may be having trouble
fighting off another Dom so go help her ASAP. Terry will be attacking another
Zaku II. Once the initial enemies are gone, Norris in a Gouf Custom will
attack. He starts from the large squarish building. Have Karen and Terry team
up with you to take him down. He can dash a huge distance and is hard to knock
down. Just keep at him and make sure to protect the Guntanks no matter what.
S-Rank: I suggest taking both the Hyper Bazooka and Rocket launcher and
equipping the Cannon/Explosive Ammo Up. Keep on firing at him with the
bazookas to try to defeat Norris as quickly as possible.
Sayla has run off with the Gundam. After a few seconds Ramba Ral and his group
will attack. You will constantly be confused throughout this mission, making
it quite a hassle. Level up Sayla a bit first before you try this mission. Try
to focus just on the Gouf to end the mission quickly.
S-Rank: The Gallop is hiding to the north. You need to take it out along with
the 2 Zakus and Gouf yourself.

There are 2 Dabdes hiding in the far North. They are your main target. You
must protect the Medea from attack and make your way north. Various Zakus will
spawn to attack so take them out and have your allies guard the Medea. As you
get close to the Dabdes, 3 Doms armed with beam bazookas will appear piloted
by Aina, Lalah and a member of the Fenrir Corps. Try to evade them and blast
the ships. This is a really hard mission.

it and blast the Zaku from a distance for an easy kill.

This mission is pure hell. You have to stop all enemy mobile suits from either
destroying the Hover Truck or passing by it. Luckily, you are piloting the
Alex Gundam. I seriously suggest being at least level 20 for this mission, as
you will need the level 3 skills. The enemies go from unskilled pilots in
Gelgoogs to insanely fast aces in Zaku Is. All I can suggest is destroy the
fastest enemies first and pray.

You get to use a much better unit in this mission. The only thing you really
need to destroy is the Advance Area Gates. Have the 4 Acguys follow
you, destroying all the enemies in your way. A cut scene will play when you
get close to a hidden gate. Which gate is the correct one seems to vary. If
you destroy the wrong one, 5 GMs will appear in a cut scene.
S-Rank: Take out all the tanks, GMs and weapon installations that you can
find.

take out as many units as you can. Try to conserve your beam rifle ammo for

initial enemies, more will appear. You have the option of fighting them or
fleeing. Take your pick.

second part rather than running.

Fans of Zeonic Front should recognize the other pilots in this mission. They
may be destroyed rather quickly if you don't help out. Take out the first Big
Tray to get rid of the long range fire. Take out as many enemies as you can.
The GM [G]'s are not too tough but try not to take on too many at once. Get
close to Revil's Big Tray and blast it. It is harder than other ships however
so keep your guard up.
S-Rank: All of your allies must live to get the S-Rank. Have the other mobile
suits retreat back to the Dabde and go after the two Big Trays with or without
the other Black Tri-Stars.

You get thrown right into the action at the start of this mission. Some
members of the Midnight Fenrir will assist you in Goufs along with some Gaws.
Take out the GMs as fast as you can, otherwise you could be overwhelmed. Make
your way towards the Gate, taking out any enemies in your way. The Gaw will
take some heavy damage from all the AA cannons, so take them out. When you
destroy the Gate, a team of GMs will appear and the Mudrock Gundam will emerge
from the water. Take out the Gundam first as it is the biggest threat, then
worry about the GMs.
S-Rank: Destroy all the installations and keep your allies alive.

You get one of Zeon's best units in this mission. Don't head too far out, as
you may become confused from all the GMs that appear. Destroy the ships to
make Amuro appear in the G-3. This is a real pain as this Gundam is extremely
fast and agile and is assisted by a whole bunch of GMs. Wear him down with
your beam rifle and you should make it out alive.
S-Rank: Destroy as many units as you can while making sure Mash and Ortega
survive.

You're helping 3 ships making an escape from Solomon. To make things worse,
the ships already have damage. At the very least, one must reach the Advance
Area. Have all your allies guard the ship while you go around picking off the
enemies. The mission starts off with you guarding the ships with no enemies
present. Eventually a cut scene will play and the Federation will attack.
Focus on the enemy MS first, as the ships will take awhile to reach you.

Johnny Ridden's last battle, at the N field of A Bao Qu. The main goal is to
prevent enemy ships from entering the Advance Area and defend the Zanzibar.
You get to use Johnny's personal High Mobility Gelgoog, which is extremely
fast along with Thomas Kurtz as an ally. Focus on the ships first, then the
mobile suits. Also, be sure to have some of your allies guard the ships.
S-Rank: Destroy as many enemy units as you can.

You don’t actually have to complete the tests unless you're aiming for the
S-Rank. Either do them or let the timer run out. The tests consist of
destroying captured Shaverfish fighters. Either way, a cut scene will play and
the Musai will be destroyed by a Salamis. You now have to destroy a team of
GMs along with a Salamis. Be careful as this Zaku has very low armour. Single
out Terry Sanders Jr. GM and destroy it to complete the mission or destroy the
Salamis.
S-Rank: Do the training and destroy as many GMs as possible.

You have to take out the 08th MS Team in this mission. Try to take them on
one at a time, as you can easily be overwhelmed. You want to line up the
Apsaras with the enemy and then fire, switching between your main and sub
weapon. Take out Shiro first as he is the strongest. Once he is gone, take out
whatever Gundam approaches you first. They should be a lot easier. Finally,
take out the hover truck.
S-Rank: Nothing more you can really do. Just keep your distance and fire away.
You can also destroy the captured tanks to the North.
You now get wipe out the remaining teams of the Kojima Battalion. Just stay out
of their range and blast them with your mega particle cannon.
S-Rank: Just keep your armour up.

with its beam saber so use the cracker to stun it.
S-Rank: Take the best bazooka you can and the Cannon/Explosive Power Up. You
need to take out the other two Gundams as well as Shiro's. Stun them with the
cracker and then let loose with the bazooka.

There are 3 Guntanks, and the 08th MS Team in this mission. The heat sabre is
useless in this mission. You need to land and shock each mobile suit with the
heat rod. It is best to try to use it on each Gundam first, as the Guntank
pilots are not too bright and may just sit there as you attack. Also don't
miss the small hover truck For the Ez8, Shiro is cannot be constantly shocked
so just attack the Guntank to complete the mission.
S-Rank: Take the MMP-80 Machine Gun as Shiro cannot be constantly shocked by
the heat rod. Stay in medium range and unload on him with both the machine gun
and gatling gun.

You are attacking Jaburo in this mission. You are actually assisted by a Zaku
II and Dom so have them help out. Gaws will constantly fly above you so make
use of the supplies as necessary and bombard any enemies in the area. There
are some skilled GM pilots as well so be careful and attack at range and try
to draw them out one at a time. When you find and destroy the gate, some GMs
will appear and attack including a skilled pilot. Destroy them all to finish
the mission.
S-Rank: Destroy any units you can find.

The machine gun is empty until you beat the mission. All you have is your heat
hawk. Lure the Gundam through the mine field in front of you. This will
inflict some damage as well as possibly stunning it. Try to get behind it and
attack.
S-Rank: Take a bazooka or two and blast the Alex Gundam from a distance before
it can even reach you.
It is a bunch of helicopters vs. a bunch of tanks. The one you are after is
the one piloted by Amuro. Try to keep together with the other helicopters, as
you are quite weak on your own. The easiest way to complete this mission is to
send Char and some other Aces after Amuro rather than trying to beat him
yourself.
First thing fire off the bits as soon as the mission starts. They
automatically seek out and attack the enemy. Your main enemy here is the
Gundam. Try to take him out first. There is no real trick to winning here
other than staying just far back enough so your sub weapon is still effective.
Remember to not attack Sayla, she has to live.
S-Rank: Just avoid close combat as much as possible and let your funnels do
all the work.

Always equip the skills that suit the unit.
Always equip the movement skill that will affect the unit in the mission.
Combo melee attacks do not always work on character enemies.
Absolutely always take a shield if you can.
Mobile suits take more damage from behind.
You can only rank up to "A" in a mission if you are using a different unit
than the default and the default pilot.
You cannot get a rank in a mission by using a different pilot in a mission.

Ranking "S" in a mission is the only way to unlock a lot of the better
equipment in the game.
Kill everything yourself or at least make sure you deliver the finishing blow.
