2. Intro
-------------
Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my guide. This guide will
teach you all I know about using ninja borgs in Gotcha force. Ninjas are
fast
borgs, much like ninjas in real life, they enjoy killing things. I hope you
enjoy using ninja borgs as much as I do and find this guide useful, anyways
here’s the guide.
-------------
3. Overall strategy
-------------
When using ninja borgs focus on dodging. If they can’t hit you they
can’t win. The best way to dodge is to dash. You can dash by pressing any
direction on the control stick, if you do this to slowly you will just stat
running and not perform a dash. An air dash works the same way, but you must
be in the air. You can repeat air dashing as many times as you want with all
the ninjas except cyber ninja. Cyber ninja uses a booster jump, which limits
how far and high he can go when flying. Use attacks that have range whilst
ground dodging, this will do some damage and annoy your opponent. However
most of the ranged attacks that ninjas use are weak so you will have to use
melee attacks to do heavy damage. To safely get close enough to use melee
attacks run around your opponent and slowly move in. This will let you avoid
most ranged attacks and allow you get close enough to do melee attacks.

4. Ninja list and strategies
--------------
Note: All stats are for the level 1borg.
Normal ninja
Cost: 150
Hp: 150
Def: 2
Shot: 2
Attack: 3
Speed: 5
Attacks:
B: (melee attack) Shinobi Gatana
B: shuriken (ammo: 10)
X: Shinobi bomb (ammo: 5)
This is the most basic of ninjas but still a great borg. There are two good
strategies for this guy. The first strategy is to run around your target
while throwing shuriken, this will allow you to slowly move in for a melee
attack. The other strategy is to jump and air dash above your opponent and
hit them with the powerful sword drop, to perform a sword drop press “B”
while above your target. If the dodge throw a bomb and run away, then
repeat.
Double ninja
Cost: 210
Hp: 150
Def: 2
Shot: 3
Attack: 3
Speed: 5
Attacks:
B: (melee attack) Shinobi Gatana
B: shuriken (ammo: 10)
X: Shinobi bomb (ammo: 5)
X: (charge attack) Ninpo Kage Bunshin
Use him, or you might say them, the same way as normal ninja except get to a
safe place and use Ninpo Kage Bunshin. When you use this attack you will
have
2 ninjas and do double damage! If you get hit by a strong enough attack your
clone will disappear and you will have to charge the attack again.
Arrow ninja
Cost: 300
Hp: 180
Def: 2
Shot: 2
Attack: 3
Speed: 5
Attacks:
B: (melee attack) Kunai
B: shuriken (ammo: 10)
X: Nipo Kagenui Arrow (ammo: 8)
Sick of flying borgs shooting your poor ninja from above and dodging all of
your shuriken? The arrow ninja can render those pretty wings useless with
his Nipo Kagenui Arrow.
Just get one arrow in them and its all over (for them not you).
If they are high up wait till they are at the lowest point that
the arrow will allow, then fire another arrow you can do this repeatedly and
get them on ground level then finish them off with some melee attacks. If
you have an ally they can use this chance to use a slow, strong attack.
With ground borgs just shoot them with an arrow. After hit they can’t move
much and you can do heavy damage. When fighting fortress borgs jump
on top of them and use the melee attack while performing a ground
dash.
Shuriken Ninja
Cost: 310
Hp: 200
Def: 2
Shot: 2
Attack: 6
Speed: 5
Attacks:
B: (melee) Shinobi Physical Attack
B: shuriken (ammo: 30)
X: shuriken cutter
One of the strongest ninjas, he has 30 shuriken and his cutter attack can
kill nearly any thing quickly. He is a little slow in the air so it might be
wise to keep him on the ground. Try to get close to your opponent whilst
throwing shuriken , then when you are within striking distance use shuriken
cutter followed by another, repeat this until they are dead (wait until the
circle around your target is red to attack again).
Acceleration ninja
Cost 380
Hp: 200
Def: 3
Shot: 3
Attack: 4
Speed: 9
Attacks:
B: Kamaitachi (ammo: 5)
B: (charge) Hidare Kamaitachi
X: Ninpo Full Throttle
Can you say fast? This borg can out run nearly any borg with his Ninpo Full
Throttle which makes him run at top speed and damages any thing he hits.
This can be hard to control at first but lets you avoid almost any attack
when mastered. As soon as the battle starts use Ninpo Full Throttle and
charge
Hidare Kamaitachi. Move towards your opponent and either release the B
button and charge it again followed by X to retreat or run into them then
repeat.
If you must fight a fortress borg use Hidare Kamaitachi as often as you can.
Note: If you hit a borg whilst performing an air dash or jump they will take
damage.
Teleport ninja
Cost: 400
Hp: 200
Def: 4
Shot: 3
Attack: 4
Speed: 7
Attacks:
B: (melee) arm cutter
B: Double Kamaitachi (ammo: 5)
X: Nipo teleport (ammo: 2)
X: (charge) teleport slash
Use him as a mid to close range borg as his Double Kamaitachi has poor aim
and little ammo, only use it to distract your opponent . His real strength
lies in
His teleport slash. Charge it up, get in range, and release. The nipo
teleport is useful for dodging. Remember: how far you dodge depends how fast
you are moving. The arm cutter is best used right after a teleport slash.
For fortress borgs jump on them and abuse the teleport slash.
Switching ninja (2 data crystals)
Cost: 380
Hp: 200
Def: 4
Shot: 2
Attack: 3
Speed: 7
Attacks:
B: (melee) Shinobi Claw
B: Crescent Kamaitachi (ammo: 5)
X: Nipo change (ammo: 1)
This ninja is strange, his Crescent Kamaitachi is nearly useless and his
nipo change is very hard to hit with, but don’t give up, nipo charge can be
a very annoying attack if you take the time to master this guy. Use
nipo change during an air dash above your target then when you switch dash
forwards jump and repeat. Nipo change works against flying borgs as they can
be forced to land but require good timing.
Flame ninja (2 data crystals)
Cost: 590
Hp: 250
Def: 3
Shot: 2
Attack: 6
Speed: 5
Attacks:
B: (melee) flame thrower
B: fire ball (ammo: 10)
X: Ninpo Dragon Explosion (ammo: 1)
Don’t play with fire, because you might get burned. This borg has an
amazingly strong melee attack, it might be the most powerful melee attack in
the game! A three hit flame attack that has some range. Focus on getting
Nipo Dragon Explosion works best against dragon, fortress, tank, angel,
wing, and air borgs. When you use it on flying borgs make sure that you are
facing them when you execute that attack, this should knock them out of the
air and allow you to hit with the flame thrower.
Note: If you do a melee attack whilst performing a ground dash you won’t use
flame thrower, but do a weaker, slower, and harder to aim upper cut.
Cyber ninja (3 data crystals)
Cost: 640
Hp: 300
Def: 4
Shot: 5
Attack: 5
Speed: 10
Attacks:
B: (melee) cyber karate
B: Shinobi beam (ammo: 4)
B: (charge) plasma tackle
X: beam shuriken (ammo: 2)
This is the only ninja with a boost jump. While not a traditional ninja this
guy can kick some serious tail. His cyber karate is a strong multi-hit
attack but don’t rely on this too much, only when you can risk getting hit
as it comes out slow. Shinobi beam fires a swift beam that does nice damage
for a ranged attack. Plasma tackle isn’t worth the time it takes to charge,
only use it to annoy people in one on one battles. Beam shuriken, one of my
favorite attacks, launches four large, homing shurikens that can do heavy
damage if they all hit. To use this borg well just keep moving and spamming
the ranged attacks use the ground dash and air dash instead of running.
Shijima (4 data crystals)
Cost: 300
Hp: 210
Def: 2
Shot: 2
Attack: 3
Speed: 5
Attacks:
B: (melee attack) Kunai
B: shuriken (ammo: 10 increases with level)
X: Nipo Kagenui Arrow (ammo: 8)
Use him just like arrow ninja. The only difference is that Shijima has more
HP and gains more ammo when he levels up.
Sasuke (4 data crystals)
Cost: 150
Hp: 180
Def: 2
Shot: 2
Attack: 3
Speed: 5
Attack:
B: (melee) Tsunujinartu
B: shuriken (ammo: 10 increases with level)
X: shinobi bomb (ammo: 5)
At first glance this is just a cooler looking ninja with an hp boost, but he
has different melee attacks. The shuriken is the same as normal ninjas
except as Sasuke levels up he gains more ammo, the shinobi bomb is the same
as normal ninjas, but Tsunujinartu is not the same as the normal ninjas
melee attack, if you perform this melee attack while doing a ground dash
Sasuke will do a spinning sword attack! And when level with your target in
the air he performs a kick that spikes them down. Move in for a spinning
sword attack every chance you get, but don’t forget to dodge. If fighting a
flying borg (besides air borgs) Jump next to them, spike them down, and use
the sword drop. Remember: you must be above them for a sword drop. Use this
attack against fortress borgs.
-----------------
Death borgs
-----------------
While not considered true ninjas, death borg alpha and death borg alpha II
act just like them.
Death borg alpha
Cost: 80
Hp: 50
Def: 1
Shot: 1
Attack: 2
Speed: 4
Attacks:
B: (melee) blade
B: shuriken (ammo: 10 increases with level)
Cheap, but useful this borg should be treated like a normal ninja, but
without the bombs. If you rely on the bombs while playing as normal ninja
then it would be best to avoid this guy.
Death borgs alpha II
Cost: 110
Hp: 60
Def: 1
Shot: 2
Attack: 2
Speed: 4
Attacks:
B: (melee) blade
B: shuriken (ammo: 10 increases with level)
X: bomb (ammo: 5)
This borg works like a double ninja, except you don’t have to charge an
attack to get the most use.
-----------------
6. Counter strategy
-----------------
Most borgs Are slower than ninjas which can make it hard for them to hit.
Try to use attacks with good range and knock back to keep the pesky
assassins out of melee range.
