If you're reading this, you're either bored or need help with some
parts in BMX XXX. This guide will be much more helpful with the
ladder, but hey, ya' never know. I'm giving descriptions on how I
found all these parts, with no help from anyone, so there could be room
for improvements. If anyone has any suggestions on easier ways to come
across these, email me at
[email protected] leave your name and
number and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Now, let's get
to it!

For those of you who don't know, 4 bike parts can be found on all the
levels with challenges, The Bronx, NYC; The Dam; Sheep Hills; Syracuse;
Las Vegas; and Launch Pad 69. You need 6 different bike parts to
complete a bike, they are Seat; Fork; Handlebars; Frame; Crank; and
Wheel. Therefore a total of 4 bikes can be found, and you start with
one, that makes 5. Every time you complete 6 parts, you get a pretty
nice stat boost. Maybe one day I'll list all the stat boosts with each
bike, but I'm not promising anything.
This list is laid out as follows:
[Bike part] - What part you're after
[Challenges needed to get part] - Some parts are inaccessible when you
first start the level. If this is listed as N/A then you can ride,
grind, and jump right to the part.
[Getting the part] - The way I got the part. If anyone has any input,
it will be credited here.
My version of the game comes from GameCube. I don't think there are
many differences between the platforms, but if there are, I don't know
about 'em. If anyone can confirm this, drop me a letter.

1. The Bronx, NYC
0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0
The parts found on this level:
Wheel, Crank, Fork, Handlebars
[Crank]
[N/A]
Go up any set of steps that lead to where the train is. Get on the
track and ride all the way to the other side of the train platform,
past the two walls that separate the tracks, going in the direction of
the police blockade. Your screen will start flashing that you're about
to leave the stage. Off to your left you're going to see a building
with a catwalk on the side, you need to jump onto that. It's easier if
you grind the rail, but you don't have to. There is a gap you must
jump, which lands you on another catwalk, after that, the crank is
yours!
[Fork]
[N/A]
Ride over to the swimming pool. Ride between a gap in the blue and
white buildings and make a right, ride up those steps. Jump a gap
between the buildings, do not go over the 3 bumps. You're going to
come up to a hump, and at the top of the hump is a wire you can grind,
so grind it. You have to do a transfer eventually, so be ready to
jump. Keep balancing yourself and you will ride right to it. If you
keep grinding, you will complete the Sneakers challenge, which took me
forever to figure out.
[Wheel]
[Jonesing for cans]
Ah, Homeless Jones, He's my favorite character in the game. After his
mishap, you have access to the wheel. Go to the area with the pimp,
and get on top of the buildings by launching off the ramp connected
building and grinding the rail with another ramp on it. From here,
make a right and ride straight off this roof onto another roof. If you
didn't complete the fireman quest, there will be smoke poring out of a
crack in the roof. If you did, there's just a crack in the roof with
some debris sticking out of it. Fall down in there, and look around
you. There is a board you must grind with the wheel at the end of it.
Ride, jump, grind, wheel.
[Handlebars]
[Emergency Water Supply]
Go to swimming pool. Fall in. Ride. There you go!

2. The Dam
0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0
Parts found on this level:
Wheel, Seat, Frame, Handle bars
[Wheel]
[N/A]
Jump up on top of the plateau that has the eagle statue on top of it.
Ride off the ramp and jump right over this statue, and start mashing
the grind button. There are 3 wires you can hit, and one has the
wheel. You have time to do a transfer, but be quick about it. Not too
difficult.
[Seat]
[N/A]
Ride into the room with the gigantic spark plug in the center of it.
Get up to the very top floor by ramping or taking the steps, and look
for the ramp you must hit to launch onto one of the spark plug support
wires. Depending on which ramp you hit, you may have to transfer a
wire then jump the spark plug, or just do a transfer and grind right to
the part.
[Frame]
[Dy-no-mite!]
That guy has issues. After he kills the talking rock, you have access
to a skate park wanna be. Ride around and you will see a bowl like
structure that has an opening. Just work the bowl and you will get the
piece eventually. Not hard at all.\
[Handle bars]
[The Main Drain]
After helping the two gentlemen with their affair, you open up a big
area full of debris and whatnot. There is an oval shaped bowl with the
handle bars in mid air. Just work your bike in the ramp, and it's all
yours.

3. Sheep Hills
0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0
Parts found in this area:
Seat, Frame, Fork, Crank
[Seat]
[N/A]
Ride into the mall, down all the steps, and into the empty fountain and
work that bike until you get the piece in mid air.
[Frame]
[N/A]
Get on top of the donut shop by jumping on the very low back section
and riding up it. You can see the piece just floating there, so grind
the wire its above, and you got it.
[Fork]
[The Donut Bribe]
Ggrr! I hate that donut! I may never eat another donut after this.
Anyway, work the bowl the donut is rolling in and you'll get it. It
would be too easy if it wasn't for that donut.
[Crank]
[Oh The Humanity]
Hah! That challenge video more than made up for the donut! After
blowing up the sheep, ride onto the same building as when you got the
frame, grind the same wire. If you're not doing these in this order,
it's the one that leads to a building with a hump on the top, I think
it's called the "Del Bell". On the other side of the hump is another
wire, grind this. You have to pull a transfer, but once you get the
other wire, it's clean grinding right to the piece.
0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0
4. Syracuse
0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0
Parts found in this area:
Fork, Handlebars, Wheel, Crank
[Fork]
[N/A]
This one is easy. Over the big road in the middle of the level are two
roadway signs. In between one of them is the fork. Grind transfer
your way from one side to the other side and it's yours.
[Handlebars]
[N/A]
Go to the area with the big antenna. You'll see a sign that says
"Dragon Cave Sports Bar", on that wall there is a ramp that you can
transfer to the above balcony thing, just jump up that ramp and shazam!
[Wheel]
[N/A]
From the snow cone vendor there's a building with a 'for lease' sign in
the window. Down that road a little way there are two ramps you can
transfer between but you need some crazy speed. Hit one of these
ramps, but grind a green ledge, grind across and the wheel is yours.
[Crank]
[Jailbreak]
Ok, this one is hard to explain, so you may want to use your console's
look feature to examine around to find what I'm talking about. Go to
the blown up building, and ride inside. As soon as you start making
out ramps and such, STOP! Wait for the rider, Nutter, to sit and wait
to talk to you. Right next to him is a ramp, and there is a ramp
directly behind it that looks exactly the same. That's the ramp you're
after. Ride to that ramp, build up some speed, and hit that ramp. In
mid-air, mash your grind button and hopefully grind, not stall, that
wire. After sliding a while you're going to have to transfer, but
that's all. It's yours.

Las Vegas
0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0
Parts found in this area:
Frame, Seat, Wheel, Handlebars
[Frame]
[N/A]
From the gap that the game makes obvious, the one where you need to
grind transfer between the boat and the sign, there is a dock on the
other side of that boat. You can jump from the boat, or the dock that
houses that boat, grab the piece, and land in the water.
[Seat]
[Puke! Puke! Puke!]
From the castle, the place with the S&M Guy, and the guillotine is a
set of cannons. At the end of one of these cannons is the part in
question. Grind that cannon, jump at the end, and cha ching!
[Handlebars]
[N/A]
At the top of the Scores building are 3 pools. One kiddie pool, one
pool that sort of cuts off on one end, and one full sized pool,
complete with a shallow end and a deep end. Work the pool with the
shallow and deep ends, and you'll come down with the handlebars.
[Wheel]
[Save The Wedding]
After you finish the needed challenge, you have access to a half pipe
in the middle of the boat with the wedding. In the bottom of the half
pipe is your piece.

6. Launch Pad 69
0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0
Parts found in this area:
Crank, Frame, Seat, Fork
[Crank]
[N/A]
From the area where you can grab the unit for picking up and anal
probing aliens, are a few wires that suspend over toward where the
rocket is. Grind the wires all the way over, keep grinding the rail on
the rocket dock, and you'll grab this shiny new bike part.
[Frame]
[N/A]
To start this challenge, go visit the monkeys. Go up the one of the
ramps to get onto the bottom of the structure the monkeys like to swing
from. Ride your bike up a set of steps toward the hangar and jump at
the top of them, grinding a wire as you go up. Transfer when you need
to, and then pull another transfer when you come to the pole holding
the wire up. Bang, another new bike part, free of charge.
[Fork]
[Test The Rocket Sled?]
Sometimes the most obvious pieces take the most time to find. After
the rocket is fired, ride to the end of the tube and thar she blows!
[Seat]
[Rocket Launch]
When the rocket explodes into a whole bunch of pieces and litters
itself across the ground, work one of the twisted half pipes and grab
this piece, which is the last one of this guide!
