03 Introduction:

The following section is a list of every vehicle in the PS2 version (same as
PC, Mac, and Dreamcast versions with the addition of three Jeeps) of 4x4 Evo in
order of their horsepower to weight ratio.

The reason for this list judging vehicles only by their power to weight ratio
is that 4x4 Evolution sets each race with trucks of generally the same power
and other modifications together. However, it doesn't take into account the
vehicles' weight. So, the lightest trucks, in relation to their power, have
the greatest advantage.

The 2WD versions of the trucks weigh hundreds of pounds less than their 4WD
counterparts, have the same number of horsepower, and can be convrted into 4WD
by purchasing a race transfer case. So, it's smartest to buy the 2WD trucks.
Also, even though the description of the race transfer case states that there
is a slight weight increase, there isn't.

Asterisks (*) next to a truck model's name mean that that truck is either the
best in its class (see section 05) or best in its make (see section 06) by
power to weight ratio.
