                               3. Overview

==============================================================================

Wheel of Fortune is an extremely successfull television gameshow. If you
haven't seen or heard of it, then why did you buy this game? Furthermore, why
don't you watch television with that TV you have? Regardless, this section
should clear things up for you.

When you boot up Wheel of Fortune, you will be asked what player setup you
want. You have three choices: 1, 2, or 1 VS COMP. In 1, you play by yourself
in Wheel of Fortune. This mode is fairly interesting, and is not an "easy"
mode, in any of the name. In 2, you can play against a friend. In 1 VS COMP,
you can play against the computer. This is the ideal mode to play Wheel of
Fortune. By the way, no, you aren't losing it; three people - not two - play
Wheel of Fortune in this game.

After you have chosen a mode, you get to choose your name. This is pretty
basic and doesn't need much explaining. If you mess up then move your cursor
to the Delete key to delete letters. Once you are done, press the End key to
confirm your name. The screen will change to a board with blank squares on it.
These are letter squares. You guess a letter and the corresponding square will
show that letter. With that, you try to solve the puzzle by guessing letters
to make words. The word below the wall should give you a broad category to the
words. This is to give you more help.

Anyway, the first person will be up. They can choose from Spin, Buy, or Solve.
Spin will spin the "wheel of fortune." Every couple of sporks there are
numbers around the wheel. You spin the wheel and an arrow hits the sporks and
thereby slows down the wheel. When it stops, you will land on four things.
Most of the time, the arrow will stop on a number. Afterwards, the letter
screen will show on the bottom. Now it's time to choose a letter. You can only
guess consonates, for the time being. If the letter that's guessed is a letter
in one of the words, it will show on the wall. Furthermore, you will get the
number that you spun in cash. So, if you spin and land on 400, then you guess
"S" and there are five on the board, you will get 2000. You can also land on
bankrupt sporks. This will take all of your cash and your turn will be lost.
The lose turn sporks, like the name states, will forfeit your turn. Free Spin
will give you a free spin. You can use these at the end of your turn to take
another turn before your opponents. Guessing an incorrect word will end your
turn.

Buy is a lot less complicated then Spin. See, throughout the game you can buy
vowels to aid you in solving the puzzle. Vowels are the key to victory, so you
should buy them frequently. Because they are important, it costs money to buy
vowels (hence buy). If the vowel you want to buy is not on the board, things
are taken just as if you guessed a consonate; your turn ends.

Lastly, we have Solve. Solve, like the name states, is where you try to solve
the puzzle. You will be given 30 seconds to fill in all the white squares left
on the board. After you are done, the game will tell you if you are correct or
incorrect. This is a great way to end a game and make sure the opponent does
not get the money. However, you should only use Solve if you are fairly
certain of what the actual solution to the puzzle is. If you are incorrect,
then your turn ends.

The above is pretty much everything that consists in the first round. The
second round is the exact same as the first. In the third, we have a "speed
round." Pat (the host) will spin the wheel. He will land on a number. This
number is what all letters are worth in this round. Now, you and your opponent
guess words in the puzzle. Consanotes and vowels are both included now; there
is no "Buy" option. After you guess a letter, the game will give you a chance
to solve the puzzle. At first, you probably won't know the solution to puzzle.
(Unless you are using my answer section, of course.) So, your turn will end
the opponent will get a crack at exactly the same thing. You will take turns
switching back until someone solves the puzzle. Whoever has the most money in
these three rounds will get to play in the final round!

In the fourth and final round, the winner from the past three rounds will be
on his/her own now. Instead of two people trying to figure out a puzzle, only
one will. You only have a small thirty seconds, so this is pretty tough. To
make matters easier, before you try to solve the puzzle, the game will allow
you to choose five consonates and one vowels. After you choose them they will
be put in the puzzle if the puzzle has them. Afterwards, you try to solve it
with this help. If you solve it, then you get the prize that the game listed.
If you don't, then you lose. Remember: this is just a video game; you don't
get the amount of money you won.
