This contains vital strategy for getting the most out of this e-reader game.
..............................................................................
The Tennis E-Reader set of Cards happens to be the set that, in my opinion, is
the most fun. It can also be quite challenging, so I decided to create a FAQ.

SECTION 1. Basics

In Match
To hit an accurate, fast volley hit "A" (I will call this "volley")
To hit a high, slow lob hit "B" (I will call this "lob")
To move the player around the court, use the D-Pad
To hit an extremely fast smash shot, move to the net and hit "A"
(I will call this a "smash")
To Pause, press start.
Serve
To get the ball up for a normal, more accurate serve press "A"
To get the ball up for a tricky, less accurate serve press "B"
Confirm this with "A." (See the Serve section for more on this)

Turn on the GBA, if you haven't already scanned the card, you should
do so. If you have, then I recommend that you store it in the RAM.
After you do you can play it with out scanning after you turn the
GBA off.
Now when you are on the Tennis screen, select the only choice, single
player, and press start. Now you should select the leve of play
(1-5) an then press start again.

SECTION 2. In-Game Strategy
..............................................................................
Difficulty 1:
This is a pretty simple difficulty setting which beginners should
definitely try first. Here you can get used to all of the controls and shot
types in a controlled, slow environment. Here is a good place to get used to
the crucial skill, the smash. The level 1 opponent leaves himself open alot of
the time and he sets it up alot, too. If you see a semi-high shot coming your
way, then get ready to smash! Move up to it and press A when It is going to
hit. It should go fast (well its still not fast on this setting.). Overall,
its worth it to play for all of you newbies
Difficulty 2:
This is not much different than difficulty 1. It is just a tad
faster and he doesn't leave himself open as much. You should lob often in
this one.
Difficulty 3:
Here the action starts to pick up. After you can easily beat up the
people in the previous two difficulties, I say you aim to go here. Sending a
variety of different hits will help here. Start with a lob and work with a
bunch of volleys. Wait for a smash, it will definitely come.
Difficulty 4:
Faster than the third difficulty, this one will challenge you when
the computer smashes against you. This is the first difficulty set in to the
A. I. where you get smashes sent your way. You should watch out because they
are extremely hard to hit back. If you think that this is hard you should wait
till you see the final difficulty.
Difficulty 5:
Wow, this guy is a master. This match goes at blinding speeds. If
you don't send a lob back to him on the first try, he will smash it and his
smashes are near impossible to hit back. Also don't lob when near the net
because it will probably go out of bounds. After the first lob, keep volleying
(make sure he doesn't get the chance to hit a smash back at you) and work your
way up to the net. It's Smash Time! Go up and he will probably volley it back
to you. If he lobs, then go and lob it right back and start over. But when
he volleys, smash it. It will probably go right behind him. Good Job! You
just beat the hardest difficulty (well, once. You still have to beat him in
a round.
So remember its lob, volley, move up to net, smash!

SECTION 3. Serves
..............................................................................
The serve is a vital element of any tennis match, real or virtual,
and this game is no exception. To serve you press A or B (depending on the
serve) and press A again at the right time to let it loose. But what is the
right time? If you press A when the ball is too high, it will result in an
over-hit which results in a fault. If press it too early, guess what? It's
an under-hit and that is a fault also. If you do this twice in a row, its a
double fault which results in points for the other player (in case you didn't
know). So you are allowed one chance to screw up per point.
The time that I think is right is right after the ball reaches its
peak. Not only does this result in you getting the ball over, but also you
trick the A.I. player sometimes.
The B serve, as I call it is a slow, but tricky serve. It can
really throw off the computer if used correctly. You should the A serve more
often, but mix it up once and a while with this B serve.
The A serve is you bread and butter serve. If you use it often, it
can win you matches, as the Level 5 A.I. is even susceptible to it. It is
faster than the B serve, and accurate to boot. Unfortunately it lacks the
trickiness of the other one. Overall use this more.

SECTION 4. Card FAQ
..............................................................................
Q- My E-reader won't pick up my card.
A- You are swiping it too fast. If this is not the case, then you might have
some problems
