In this FAQ I have typed up every piece of dialogue and story related text that
appears in Super Return of the Jedi for the Super Nintendo Entertainment
System. The text is exactly as it appears in the game except it's not all
capitals.

* Opening *
********************************************
A long time ago in a galaxy far,
far away....
STAR
WARS
Episode VI
Return of the Jedi
Luke Skywalker has returned to
his home planet of Tatooine in
an attempt to rescue his
friend Han Solo from the
clutches of the vile gangster
Jabba the Hutt.
Little does Luke know that the
Galactic Empire has secretly
begun construction on a new
armored space station even
more powerful than the first
dreaded Death Star.
When completed, this ultimate
weapon will spell certain doom
for the small band of rebels
struggling to restore freedom
to the galaxy...
Darth Vader: Commander, I hope for your
sake the new death star will
be completed by the time the
Emperor arrives.
He is not as forgiving as I
am.
Commander: Yes, Lord Vader. We shall
double our efforts.
Meanwhile on Tatooine,
Luke, Leia, and Chewie
race in a landspeeder
towards Jabba the Hutt's
palace to rescue Han Solo.

As dawn approaches, Luke,
Leia, and Chewie begin to
climb up the mountain side
towards the palace of Jabba
the Hutt.

********************************************
Han Solo: Who's there? I can't see.
Leia: Someone who loves you.
Han Solo: Leia!
Leia: Han, you have hibernation
sickness from being frozen in
carbonite. You eyesight will
return soon.
Han Solo: I recognize that laugh...

Luke Skywalker: Greetings, I am a Jedi Knight
Luke Skywalker. Release Han
Solo to me and I will do you
no harm, Jabba.
C3-PO(translating Jabba's Words):
There will be no bargain, Jedi.
Luke Skywalker: You'll regret this.
C3-PO(translating Jabba's Words): I'm sure.

Jabba's sailbarge crosses the
Dune Sea with the captured
Princess Leia and the droids
onboard.

* Cut Scene 5 *
********************************************
Luke, Han, Chewie, and Leia
race to the forest moon on
Endor to destroy the shield
generator that protects the
new Death Star.
Night falls on the forest moon
of Endor.
Leia: Luke, we must stop those scout
bikers before they can warn
the empire that we are here.

Leia: The Empire is approaching.
We need your help to stop
them.
********************************************
* Cut Scene 7 *
********************************************
Luke Skywalker: Leia, I must face Vader.
Leia: But why must you confront him?
He is evil.
Luke Skywalker: He is my father. I can feel
the good in him. I must try
to turn him away from the
dark side.
If I fail, you are the only
hope for the alliance. You are
my sister. In time you will
learn to use the force as I
have.

Lando Calrissian: Lando Calrissian and Nien
Numb out of hyperspace
ready to attack the new Death
Star.
We have got to give Han,
Chewie, and Leia more time
to destroy the shield
generators.

* Cut Scene 9 *
********************************************
Han, Chewie, and Leia enter
the shield generator on Endor
through a secret entrance.
********************************************
* Cut Scene 10 *
********************************************
The deflector shield explodes,
leaving the Death Star
unprotected.

* Cut Scene 11 *
********************************************
The shield generators are down!
Lando Calrissian and Nien Numb
attack the Death Star in the
Millennium Falcon.

********************************************
The Emperor: Welcome, young Skywalker.
I have been expecting you.
I am looking forward to
completing your training.
In time you will be calling
me master.
Luke Skywalker: You are wrong. You won't
convert me as you did my
father.

********************************************
The Emperor: Good...good! You are indeed
powerful. Now finish him and
take your father's place at
my side.
Luke Skywalker: No, I'll never turn to the
dark side. I am a Jedi like
my father before me.
The Emperor: So be it. If you will not be
turned, you will be destroyed.

* Cut Scene 14 *

Darth Vader: Luke, help me take this mask
off.
Luke Skywalker: But you will die.
Darth Vader: Nothing can stop that now.
For once let me look on you
with my own eyes.
Now go son. Tell your
sister you were right about
me.

Lando Calrissian: We've got to hit the
accelerators and escape
quickly before the fire
catches up with the
Millennium Falcon.

Congratulations
Jedi!
You have destroyed the new
Death Star and defeated the
Emperor.
This day will be remembered
for eternity as the day you
saved the galaxy from evil.
Now, as it was before the
Empire, peace will reign
again.
Remember!
The force will be with you...
always.
